We are "City Oasis Guest House" , which is a licensed guesthouse (holiday flat) in Hong Kong. Our license number is H5714. Our house is located at a small village in the outskirts of Tung Chung, 10 minutes from the Hong Kong Airport by taxi and 4 minutes from Tung Chung City by taxi. Our village is situated at the mountain foot and Tung Chung river mouth on Lantau Island, the green fort of Hong Kong. Our property is a three-storey village house with a total of 2800 square feet. At the rooftop and balconies, you can oversee the unique scenery view with the combination of the airport, cable-car, Tung Chung Bay, wetland, Tung Chung City and mountain views. The master room, dining room and kitchen are on the ground floor while the guest rooms are on the first and second floors. Room are clean, tidy, comfortable and homey. 我们租用了两种房型一共五天,房子周边环境很淳朴,进出不是很方便但是ricky和terry都会接送,非常贴心的服务｡屋子性价比在香港来说不错,很干净,房东人很好,相处很融洽,我会推荐朋友过来选择这里,希望他们生意兴隆!

Jun 27, 2019Ricky and Terry were easily the best Airbnb hosts I have ever had. They were super responsive, kind, helpful, and knew exactly what they were doing. The room is spotless and exact what we were looking for after our flight back home was canceled and we needed a place to stay. There is a wonderful market about 30 min walk and a shopping center as well.
Jun 27, 2019Pobyt u Rickyho byl absolutně famózní. Nadherný moderní pokoj nám poskytl pohodlí po dlouhých výletech. Strejda Ryckyho nám ve všem pomohl, přesně napasal cesty na výlety, půjčil baterky, když jsem šli v noci, deštník, kola......Nic nebyl problém. Všechno bylo poblíž, ať už obchody či restaurace nebo nádherné pláže. Byl to nádherný pobyt a rozhodně doporučuji vyzkoušet jeho domácí chléb :))))

Jun 27, 2019This a great space to stay. Ricky was great with communication and his cousin Terry checked us in and handled our stay. Terry was awesome! He told us all about the place and showed us where we could go for different things to see and experience. He helped us with our luggage both checking and checking out. The island is beautiful and is a nice change of pace from the busy city. I would highly recommend staying here!

Jun 27, 2019We had s great time at Ricky and Terry's Airbnb. Our flight was delayed, so we stayed right near the airport. Terry picked us up at the taxi stop, ordered us food, and helped us out in the Morning with transportation. Thanks for the great hospitality and the delicious papaya.
Jun 27, 2019Tiny and quiet village far from the city chaos! I didn't know there was anything like this in Hong Kong. Terry was very helpful and told us a lot of facts about the area. He recommended us to take a hiking trail to the ancient fishing village of Tai O and it was a great experience.

Jun 27, 2019很棒!距离东涌地铁站需要换乘巴士/taxi 15分钟左右,附近景点比较集中,房间在一楼,设备齐全,室内拖鞋,建议冬天自带袜履,玻璃门窗,花园很漂亮,还有自种的木瓜,晚上可以去天台坐躺椅看星星｡接待我们比较多的是房东Terry,香港退休老师,港式普通话讲起来比较费力,还是会很仔细介绍景点,画出景点指引,怕我们记不住,像教学生一样“考”问我们路线｡;-)来时正好被捎回来, 走前Terry还一直送上TAXI~PS:两只咪咪好乖,可惜Kitty住院了,希望早日康复!
Jun 27, 2019Staying at Ricky's place was a great experience! It was an absolute pleasure to stay with Ricky. He was very responsive to our communication and helpful in providing direction once our flight landed. He even provided us with the written directions in Cantonese in case our taxi driver didn’t speak English (which came in very handy!). Ricky had his cousin meet us at a College which was 10 minutes from the airport. His cousin was very friendly and helpful – he even arrived with a cart to carry our bags to the apartment. As there are no vehicles that directly access Ricky’s neighbourhood, there was a lovely 5 minute walk on a beautiful path which weaved through the jungle. Upon arrival at Ricky’s building, it was clear that the place was very clean and well kept. He provided us with some water bottles, offered us dinner, and his 2 friendly cats entertained us while he checked us in. He proceeded to show us the rooftop terrace which is a great spot to hang out and enjoy the view of the mountains. There is also an area to wash and hang dry your laundry up there. The room appeared to be recently renovated. It was small, but it was very clean and efficiently laid out. There was good A/C to keep cool as well as a TV with some basic cable for some entertainment. Overall, this was a perfect place nearby the airport to spend the night before continuing our travels. The price was fair, and I would highly recommend staying here.

Jun 27, 2019We were only here for a single night on a long layover between Australia and the US, but Ricky and Terry did everything to make sure our very short stay was stress free. The village is a bit off of the main road, but they were waiting for us when we arrived with a cart that we could load all of our luggage on to and they brought it to the residence for us. They did the same thing for us super early in the morning and had taken care of making sure a cab was waiting for us to take us to the airport. They also gave us a ride to the train station after we first arrived to make our night much easier. It was super short notice, and a super short trip but they went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.
Jun 27, 2019The room is very clean and convenient. The location is in a quiet spot in the nature. I find it perfect for a weekend to get out of the city and enjoy nature! Ricky and Terry are great hosts! They were very helpful with the pick-up, check-out and suggestions for getting around. We took a hike to Tai O and really enjoyed it. I highly recommend this place if you like nature, hiking and to see another side of Hong Kong.

Jun 27, 2019Overall a great place. Very close to the airport so great if you're getting in late or leaving early. They live in a village that is surrounded by fruit trees and rain forest...very nice! Ricky and his cousin are most helpful. They even drove me to the MTR for breakfast! Will definitely stay again if I'm venturing back this way.

We have no difficulty locating their guest house because Ricky provided us with precise instruction and they even picked us up at the bus terminal. The guest house is very clean and tidy. Good wifi connectivity. It is located in a village far from city centre so the air is extremely fresh and environment is very quiet and serene. You can get a good nice sleep here.

Jun 27, 2019I missed my flight at HK airport and needed somewhere to stay for the night for the next morning flight. Searched AirBnb since hotels were very expensive and found Ricky's place with late notice and booked it quickly. His place is about 10 minutes from the HK airport and his cousin met us where the taxi dropped us off. He was very nice and moved our suitcases for us on a trolley he brought. The place is a private room on the side like it's your own place. Has everything you need for a quick rest. He even woke up in the early morning 630am to help us trolley our luggage to the taxi area and called a taxi for us. Very friendly and a great host. Would stay again.

Jun 27, 2019第一次使用airbnb,这是个很有趣的选择｡ 1.地理位置:因为这次到香港计划并不是为了购物为主,所以第一站决定去大屿山住两天,爬爬山｡选择了Terry和Ricky的家｡晚上21:30出机场后,按Ricky的指引,在机场坐蓝色的士,15分钟内左右到下车的点,Terry和Ricky两位一起等我们｡建议问的士司机要小票,我都不记得他收到我多少钱了,下车看牌的时候HKD56.2,因为有行李费,然后钱都放一起就搞不清楚了｡就在大屿山松满路,从大马路上走进去需要大约10分钟左右,其实白天是非常舒服的,有山有溪水,景色很好,晚上没有太多路灯｡第一晚Terry和Ricky帮我们推行李,带我们走了一遍进去的路,还是挺好走的,第二晚我们就是自己走回｡配给我们手电｡路也不难记得,还是方便的｡村子安静,没有杂七杂八的外人,安全回到｡相比大屿山景区里其他酒店,性价格很高,值得推荐｡ 2.家庭环境:被青山绿水包围的三层白色小楼,打理的很干净,院子里有Terry种的花花草草､果树｡屋顶有个大平台,视野开阔,可以坐在上面舒服看的看看风景｡我们这次选择住的是在1A,配有独立洗水间｡在一楼,推门后就是房间,床､电视､桌椅､洗手台､干湿分离的淋浴间,就是两人洗澡之间需要间隔20分钟以上,不然水不热｡虽然不大,地方足够,我们一个30寸的大箱子打开也可以走动｡房间是地砖,非常干净｡床品舒适,两晚都休息的很好｡第二天一早后我们出去爬山了,回来看到Terry也给整理过了,完全干净｡山里夜里稍有点冷,房间也多备了一条被子｡如果比较怕冷的人,可以在山里多带件衣服｡ 3.房主印象:非常感谢Terry和Ricky都很热情的积极沟通,从预订前的咨询,就给了很多实在的建议,帮助我做行程规划｡到了之后,画了路线图,考虑我们的体力和之后的行程,推荐给我可以去的地方｡第二天一早还开车带我们去吃正宗本地早餐,要知道前一晚他们因为要去接夜归的其他客人,凌晨1点才休息｡但他们也尽可能帮助所有客人,可以放心的把你的大屿山之行放在这里｡一直使用 (Hidden by Airbnb) 保持联系,告诉我们怎么坐车,可以吃什么｡总之值得推荐｡ 4.社区印象:房子锁在的牛凹村,步行15分钟内就到了逸东村,超市､便利店､餐饮店什么都有,有不懂路的时候问下路人都很热情的帮忙解答｡大屿山这个季节不冷也不太热,爬爬山特别适合,听说缆车马上要进入维修的阶段就不能使用了｡很适合放松之行,以后有机会我还会回来尝试自己去爬山,还有大东山,愉景湾都还没去成,谢谢你们的推荐,让我对香港的郊外有全新的认识｡ 希望短暂的两天,没有过多的打扰你们｡最后祝Terry和Ricky以及你们的家庭,Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!愿我们会再见面!写的比较多,因为我在预定之前也从很多评论里得到了关键信息,引导我选择合理的住宿｡希望我写的也能帮助大家获取信息｡

Jun 27, 2019We had a two day layover in Hong Kong and this place was located close to the airport. Ricky was able to pick us up for a small charge, which I would highly recommend since it otherwise would be difficult to find this property if you are not familiar with the area. We woke up the first day and Ricky and his colleague provided us with maps and directions in both English and Cantonese. Furthermore, they gave us a walking tour around the property as well as highlighted all the main attractions in and around their area. I would also recommend this property to anyone who is interested in going to Hong Kong Disneyland as it has a close proximity to the Metro Station and local bus routes. All in all, Ricky and his friend were very friendly, professional, and informative. They spoke very clear English and were very helpful in both providing us with extremely personalized customer service. Again, I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Jun 27, 2019首先,房东Ricky和Terry都很热情,他们会提供 (Hidden by Airbnb) ,并在 (Hidden by Airbnb) 上告诉你方便到达的路线,如果要坐巴士,千万要坐S64,如果坐S1的话,到了东涌巴士总站,打车过去还需要30块｡想在机场打车的话,坐大屿山的车,但是要等蛮长时间的,车少排队的人多｡ 其次,实事求是的讲,民宿位于牛凹村内,从巴士到达地港青基信学校走路到民宿,大约需要15分钟,而且内部路线比较绕,在没有房东陪同的情况下很容易迷路,也不要指望导航,导航在这里是完全没用的, (Hidden by Airbnb) 地图和Apple手机里自带的地图我都试过了,完全找不到｡ 第三,抱着来了之后去东涌地铁站坐地铁去尖沙咀或去东荟城的想法的同志们,建议你们打消这个想法,这里离东涌地铁站和巴士总站还是有一段距离的,而且因为村庄里差不多晚上六点天就黑了,进出虽然有路灯,但还是比较暗的也很容易迷路,且村民们都休息的比较早,还是早点回来睡觉比较现实｡ 第四,民宿的隔音确实一般般,它位于两层小楼内,基本上楼里的马桶冲水声､洗漱声､隔壁说话的声音,村庄里的犬吠声,会伴随着你入睡｡ 第五,赶早班飞机的同志们,可以跟Terry拿一下香港的士的联系电话,打车去机场需要 (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) 块,行李额外一件5块,差不多10-15分钟就能到机场,还是很方便的｡但早上出门村庄里会比较暗,请顺着路灯走会比较容易走出来｡
Jun 27, 2019房东Terry和Ricky真的很好人,很热情,而且很健谈｡第一晚12·30am才回来,房东特地出来路口接我们｡ Check out 时我带着四个月大的婴儿出门,房东还特地载我们去搭车,让我省心和省了很多力气｡ 这里住了两晚,房间里很干净和安静,女儿都睡得很熟(平时在家都不能睡得那么熟)｡外面的空气很清新,让我晚上可以安心地带女儿出来吹风｡ 楼上有个大阳台,晚上可以上去看夜景｡这里是香港的“小”世外桃源｡

Jun 27, 2019We used this for a 10 hour layover in Hong Kong so the proximity to the airport was great! It's an adventure to walk from the taxi drop off point to the property. The apartment is tiny - especially for two american size people. The listing is accurate i just think i forgot what a double sized bed means. If you are arriving late - eat dinner before you go. There didnt seem to be any dining in the village. The scenery was very quaint! The apartment was clean!
Jun 27, 2019The edge of this place comes from the very accommodating hosts, Ricky and Terry. They know how to converse in English and answers to your every questions promptly. They hand out maps of tourist spots and gives complete directions to places, which is very helpful for first time travelers in Hong Kong. If you love the outdoors, you will enjoy the scenic walk from the main road to their home. But if you're not into long walks, this is not the listing for you.

Jun 27, 2019I had about a 10 hour layover in Hong Kong, so my boyfriend and I needed a clean, affordable place to crash. Our flight arrived at 11:45pm and left the next day at 10:15am. Ricky was great about communicating with me from beginning to end. He answered all my questions super fast! Even though I had a somewhat late arrival, his cousin Terry met us and had a dolly for our luggage. His place is like this hidden oasis. You take this cool walk through all these fruit trees. It looks like a forest! It's off the beaten path, but that's what adds to it's charm and appeal. When you get to his place, it's quiet and you feel like you're away from the hustle and bustle, but you're really not. The room that we stayed in had a separate entrance from the house, so it was like we had our own apartment, minus the kitchen. My boyfriend and I each had a backpack and a carry on suitcase. The room was a bit tight for us and our stuff, but it was manageable. It was clean, cozy and comfortable. It had all the amenities you would need...towels, soap, shampoo, comfy and clean bed, heat or AC (which we didn't use), safe place, and privacy. The room was just what we needed. We had our own bed and restroom. It was clean and it was close to the airport. Plus, there's wifi! Since I arrived kind of late, I texted Ricky about the wifi and he got back to me right away! Then, on our departure day, Terry had arranged a taxi for us and saw us off. It was like VIP service without the VIP price. Overall, you can't go wrong by booking with Ricky and Terry. These guys know what they're doing. Their place is just what you need...if it's for one night or more...you'll get great hosts with a great place to stay. Don't wait...just book with them!

He drops everything to help you, he even picks you up after the airport, draws you maps, gives amazing details and trip ideas, and even took us to the market and got street food with us the first night. I highly recommend ricky and terry as hosts!!!

Jun 27, 2019Ricky and Terry were wonderful with helping transport my luggage to and from the room with a trolley, giving me the best directions, explaining the subway and bus system, and hailing me a cab when I needed it. Pros: Very close to the airport, a cheap taxi fare, and easy to get to the MTR station via bus. That said, Walking to the MTR station without taking the bus is about 30 minutes and it's a very enjoyable and easy walk I would take daily just for some quiet time and fresh air. Cons: -The bed is incredibly firm (but I didn't mind it, though if you need a mattress with any sort of spring this is not the bed for you) - A five minute walk from the road to your room (I also didn't mind this, in fact, I chose this room because of how scenic it was described and I was not disappointed) Would stay again!

Jun 27, 2019The place is in a very peaceful area, close to the airport and it has its own bathroom and entrance. Ricky is really prompt to respond and is a great host. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a place to stay near the airport, or where they would like a peaceful place to stay.

Jun 27, 2019This was a great place to stay. A little off the beaten path, but the 10min walk is totally worth it. The village and scenery are beautiful. Ricky and his cousin worked everything out perfectly. From meeting us at the pickup point (with a rolling cart for outlet bags) to arranging a cab to pick us up for our departure, the communication was excellent. We were told all about the town and some great recommendations for close places to visit and eat. I would highly recommend staying here, either for a close place by the airport between flights or for a few days to explore. Thanks for everything, Abby & Jae

Jun 27, 2019The place is great for relaxing, hiking and exploring Hong Kong without staying in the city. Excellent location if the idea is to visit the Big Budday at Pin Lo monastery. The hosts are very nice, warm, organized, helpful, dedicated to their guests. I felt welcome and at home.
Jun 27, 2019안그래도 새벽도착 비행기였는데, 연착으로 인해 예정시간보다 1시간은 더 늦게 연락하였는데도 village 입구까지 마중도 나와주고 친절하게 하나하나 다 설명해주어서 너무 좋았습니다. 숙소의 청결도 또한 너무 좋았습니다. 기회가 되어 다시 홍콩을 방문하게 된다면 그때 다시 또 투숙하고 싶네요.
Jun 27, 2019우선 한국으로 돌아와서 생각해보니 여기보다 좋았던 곳은 없었다는 생각이 들어요. 첨에 숙소 근처에 도착한 날은 게스트하우스까지 들어가는 길도 험한것 같고 주변 마켓가는데도 오래 걸어야하는거 아닌가 해서 좀 막막했거든요. 저같은 경우에는 엑스포와 가까운 숙소를 원했기 때문에 이정도는 감수해야지라는 생각이었어요. 시간이 지나면서 지내다보니 움직이는 거리도 별로 길지 않고 조금만 움직이면 다 갈 수 있는 거리였어요! 엑스포나 공항은 두말할것 없이 가까웠구요. 메인로드랑 살짝 떨어져있다보니 밤낮할 것없이 조용하고 편안한 시간 보내기 딱이어서 너무 좋았어요. 숙소는 리키와 리키 사촌인 테리가 같이 운영하는데 주말에는 테리 혼자서 게스트하우스를 관리해요! 전 진짜 여행다니면서 테리같은 호스트는 첨봐요. 24시간 진짜 제가 필요할때 다 도와주고 처음 온날 비도 많이 오는데 택시 내리는 곳에 픽업와주고 짐도 다 들어주고 짐풀고 나니까 주변에 마켓까지 같이 데려다주면서 마을 소개도 해줬어요. 정말 천사가 따로 없었어요. 만약 침사추이 홍콩섬처럼 번화가가 아닌 좀 더 안락하고 편안하게 쉬면서 홍콩을 둘러보고 싶은 분들은 여기로 가셔야해요. 전 다음번에 홍콩 가게 되면 또 갈거에요.
Jun 27, 2019因为SHINee要来香港博览馆开演唱会,在找住宿的地方的过程中看到了这里 把所有的评论和房间的照片都看了一遍之后决定在这里住下 抵港前一天 房东很贴心地告诉我们交通路线和我们沟通抵达的时间 我拿完托运的行李出关都已经凌晨一点多了 房东还出来接我们 因为民宿在村子里 好处就是附近真的很多树 大概是香港树最多的地方了 风景特别好 缺点就是交通有点小不方便 但是我跟我朋友都觉得可以接受 在博览馆晃了一整天再回到民宿的时候 真的是幸福地要哭出来了 极力推荐给要来看演唱会不想住酒店又想享受风景的朋友!

The area at the top of the house had breathtaking views and it was lovely to be able to sit up there in the evenings enjoying the view and relaxing with drinks after doing all the touristic sights, It was an absolute pleasure for us to be guests at rickys place.
Jun 27, 2019我很感謝能夠選中Ricky家的這個house,真的是非常好!我很後悔自己為什麼只book了1晚T.T首先這家是村子裡的一棟獨立的3層房子｡我們入住那天非常幸運地碰上Ricky和他的表哥Terry剛好在我們附近吃午飯,所以他們非常nice過來接我們｡Ricky和Terry人很好,很熱情,會很仔細跟你講解附近值得遊覽的地方還有非常小心叮囑,所以不用害怕會迷路~因為我從來沒有到過東涌,每次都是要去機場路過,這次因為想要到大澳看棚屋和海豚,所以就住了這裡｡要進房子,就要經過一段小村路,沿著小河走大概5-6分鐘,沿路一片植物,很多蝴蝶和小鳥,天很藍,空氣也很好｡整栋house非常雅致且装饰简洁有心思,房間非常整齊乾淨!配置也很充足,我一向出外都是自帶毛巾､牙刷､洗浴用品,所以這些都不成問題｡這裡去大澳､長沙海灘､大嶼山､昂坪360都很方便!而且附近還有一個很有特色的香港街市,还有周邊的保育做得很好!还有很多值得去的景点｡這裡讓我對香港有了一個很特別的認識｡晚上進村小路會有點黑,如果一個人可能會覺得有點害怕,但是很安全的｡晚上小路上還會有螢火蟲!而且可以上house的天台看星星!非常舒服｡還有這裡有2只很可愛的貓咪~之後我一定會再來的｡好好地在这里呆上两三天真的很舒服｡感谢Ricky和Terry!

Jun 27, 2019만나 본 호스트 중에 젤젤 친절해요 ㅠㅠㅠㅠ mtr에서 택시 타고 오면 큰 길까지 캐리어 끄는 거? 가지고 데리러 나오고 짐 옮겨 주고요 주변 약도랑 갈만한 곳, 가는 법까지 인쇄해서 다 줘용 오면 덥다고 차가운 물도 가져다 주고 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 거실에 고양이 두 마리 있는데 거기서 고양이랑 놀아도 된다고 하고 식당 1/2 돈으로 부탁하면 밥도 차려 줘요! 식당보다 맛있었음 ㅎㅎ,.. 저희는 태풍 때문에 수요일 오전 비행기가 목요일 새벽까지 미뤄지고 교통수단들도 다 운행 정지한 상태였는데 숙소 체크아웃은 수요일 오전이고 해서 하루 더 끊기도 아깝고 그렇다고 갈 곳은 없도 해서 어쩌지 하는 마당에 테리가 그냥 거실에서 저녁까지 기다리라고 ㅠㅠㅠㅠ 도 해 줬어여,,, 진짜 그거 아니었음 저희는,,,,,,, 엠티알까지 데려다 주기도 했고 짐도 들어 주시고 ㅠㅠ 테리랑 리키 같이 하는데 둘 다 엄청 친절해요!! 영어도 잘 해서 소통에 문제는 없고요 숙소 위치는 조금 안쪽? 이라서 주변이 한적하고 주변에 가게나 그런 게 별로 없긴 해요 저희는 쭉 침사추이 다른 숙소에 있다가 마지막 이틀을 여기서 보냈는데 디즈니랜드나 무이오 같은 란터우 섬 주변 여행할 땜 여기가 훨 좋은 것 같아요 또 침사추이는 보통 숙소 자체도 건물이나 그런 게 작고 음침한데다가 밤에 워낙 사람이 많고 붙잡고 홍보나 호객행위 하는 게 많아서 무서웠는데 여기는 그런 부분에서 마음 편해서 좋았어요! 암튼 다시 홍콩/마카오 여행 한다면 저는 또 여기로 올 것 같아요 ㅠㅠ 정말 친절... 좋아요!!

Jun 27, 2019I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation. Compact but spotless and everything that you could need. Beautiful spot out of the hustle bustle excellent links to public transport. Excellent hosts who went out of the way to help. Met us from the taxi drop off point early morning and took us back to the accommodation, lots of handy hints and information about the area and local transport and after initial check in always available if needed.

Jun 27, 2019我们大约十一点到达,房东大晚上也出来接了我们,而且对待我们很热情,一路上告知我们路线以及登山的建议,十分热情,而且他对待每个客人应该都是这般,无论早晚都会接待,让人佩服｡房间在香港来说算很干净整洁,如果准备在东涌爬山的人推荐住在这里,如果主要打算在市区玩的可能在东涌过去还是有点远｡

Jun 27, 2019Didn't get to meet Ricky. Was hosted by Terry instead and everything was fantastic! Communication was prompt and clear. Check in was seamless. Terry also provided many suggestions on where we can go and where to find good food on Lantau Island. Maps were provided as well. Place was convenient to get to start of hiking trails which was a priority for us. Will love to stay here again when we go back!

Jun 27, 2019Absolute wonderful experience, from reading previous reviews I had high expectations and they were definitely exceeded. Unbelievable hospitality from Terry who walked us back to the apartment, showed us around, made sure we were comfortable and gave us tips on the best way to get to the airport in the morning. Not to forget about the place, very clean, updated, comfortable.. everything you need. And the rooftop hangout is beautiful, the girl and I had a romantic dinner and Terry even offered us a candle (I thought he was kidding haha so sweet) can't say enough about the place and the guys! Thanks again!

Jun 27, 2019Had a pleasant stay at Ricky’s place during our layover in Hong Kong. Place is super convenient in terms of getting to the airport - just a 10 min taxi drive and then some 10 min walk. Ricky’s cousin Terry met us at the taxi drop off point, offered a cart for our bags and even pushed it himself to the apartments. In the morning Terry ordered a taxi for us and also carried our bags on a cart. The room is neat and cozy. Overall a lovely experience

Jun 27, 2019ricky是与众不同的房东,当初在英国念书,后来为了追求安静的生活选择了在大屿山经营民宿｡我们孩子为了sat考试住在他家,发现完全不用担心,他会详细告知机场过来的路线,会去路口迎接孩子,会帮孩子安排一个人的食宿,提醒孩子们早点起床,更会贴心帮他们安排去机场的拼车,两次考试我们孩子都是独自去的,ricky会在 (Hidden by Airbnb) 上不断告知孩子的情况,就像一位真诚细心的大哥哥｡很感谢他给予孩子的照顾和帮助,今后也会向其他同学推荐!另外,大屿山的风景很好,孩子还在当地做了生态调研,……总的来说,这是神奇而温暖的旅行!

Jun 27, 2019This was a great, clean room but the hospitality was the best! The guesthouse is outside of the city, 30 minute walk from closest MTR. Terry picked me up from the street to show me the way to the guesthouse, which I would have never found alone for the first time, but not hard to find after that. He also gave tips on where to visit around the area. I would recommend this to someone who wants to get away from the busy city for a while!

We had a flight from the US that arrived at 6pm and wanted to spend our first night in Hong Kong near the airport before we moved to central Hong Kong and this was PERFECT! The rooftop was so beautiful- so many plants and what a view. We could hear so much wildlife and it was relaxing. The room was sparkling clean and exactly what we needed. Ricky gave us so many wonderful recommendations. The place would be a bit challenging to find your first time so he had his cousin, terry, meet us. Terry was also incredibly friendly and told us where to go to eat. We loved Lantau Island and explored Tai O and Big Buddha the next day before heading to Hong Kong. I’m so glad we did this. Thanks!!!

I arrived early few hours but Ricky and Terry already prepared , The pictures and texts that Ricky gave were very helpful and accurate, I can easily flow it and find the lovely place. The room is very new and clean, makes comfortable. And they free offer the guests the Charging converter and flash lights in case can use it. Terry help me book the taxi everyday even at early morning at 6 he walk me out and till I am get in the Taxi,that’s make me feel so warm and appreciate.also help me carry the heavy luggage. Give me advise about the restaurant and shopping place so I can eat and buy the (Website hidden by Airbnb) very happy and glad meet those nice person and stay at a fabulous place. I enjoyed the environment, the sunset and fresh air. This place as beautiful as a vacation, but also very human and sweet｡非常舒服非常热情很美的住宿,推荐

Jun 27, 2019정말 좋습니다. 가까운거리에 쇼핑센터와 현지의 자연경관이 있습니다. 현지인들의 생활을 잠시나마 느껴볼 수 있었습니다. 서비스도 친절하고 청결도도 훌륭합니다. 다만 접근성이 다소 떨어지고 개발되지 않은 경로를 통과할 수밖에 없기 때문에 치안 면에서 어떨지 약간의 의구심은 있으나, 건장한 남성이나, 단체로 모여서 이동하시는 분들이라면 걱정하지 않아도 좋습니다.(밤에 이동하시는 것은 비추) 방 안은 완벽하게 정리되어 있었고, 코앞에 한국에서 볼 수 없는 자연경관이 펼쳐져있었습니다.(그럼에도 방에는 모기 한마리 없어 정말 관리를 잘 하시는구나 생각했습니다.) 새벽에도 빠른 응대를 해주시고, 간이한 지도를 제작하여 제공해주셔서 어디로든 쉽게 이동할 수 있었습니다.

Jun 27, 2019因为时间来不及所以没有及时check in 准备入住的时候已经很晚了 加上那天下雨 要走一段不方便的山路 一开始没有找到还在很晚打电话给房东问询 幸好房东及时接了电话 房间里的东西很齐全 该有的都有 并且问房东要了另外的转换插头也在第二天送了过来 还为我们叫车 有问题找他们都能解决~非常感谢
Jun 27, 2019路有一点偏僻,下车之后要走大概要走五六分钟的路才到达房源｡房间不大｡刚好可以摆下一张床和一个衣柜,旁边就是一个小小的洗手间｡ 房东很贴心｡住的地方离机场近｡
Jun 27, 2019Ricky’s place was a great respite from the airport terminals (we were in Hong Kong for. 23 hour layover). Clean, and comfortable with a well functioning air conditioning unit, and a great shower! The orchard walk to the room was lovely. If arriving at night you might want to request Ricky or his cousin Terry meets you at the YMCA drop off. If Terry hadn’t met us, I’m not sure we could have navigated the walk to the guesthouse), Terry was also a great help in finding local food and attractions (the Indian place on Terry suggested was amazing) thank you Terry!
Jun 27, 2019Being my first time in Hong Kong during a 17 hour layover, I was a bit nervous. However, after being so kindly greeted by Terry, my nerves instantly went away and I felt at home. The place is very clean and has all of the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend going up to the rooftop terrace to catch the beautiful sunrise/sunset. Thank you again!!
Jun 27, 2019Stayed in double room 1A.Nice and (Website hidden by Airbnb) shoes inside rooms and common areas-slippers are provided.Good room air-con,was switched on before our arrival.Very welcomed after a walk from the taxi drop of point.Terry was very nice and welcoming,he came to meet us,even though I didn’t ask him to.The detailed map with the directions from the taxi drop off point to the house was provided by (Website hidden by Airbnb) was very clearwith the pictures as well.The common areas consists of a small launge with kitchen (guests can use the microwave) opened between 08:00-22:30.Also there is a nice terrace with sun laungers and tables and (Website hidden by Airbnb) in the room and a botle of water was also provided.On the whole simple,clean accommodation located near the (Website hidden by Airbnb) and quiet.
Jun 27, 2019Lovely hosts and super helpful about transportation and things to do on Lantau Island. This is quite remote in comparison to staying in Tung Chung, but it is worth getting out of the main areas.
Jun 27, 2019Ricky真的非常热情,也很nice,照顾的很周到｡房子是在村子里,需要走一段小路才能到,唯一的不方便就是这点吧｡第一次住香港的村屋,一路上小溪､蝴蝶､沿路的果树,还有鸟儿,好像回到了小时候外婆家的感觉,晚上在天台躺椅上看星星真的是很美妙,如果不是要赶飞机真的很想多呆一会儿

Jun 27, 2019Ricky’s place is located in a small traditional village in a green belt on the edge of Tung Chung. However, it is within easy walking distance of transportation and amenities in the city. It’s quite different from the usual Hong Kong experience - calm and peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are small but very clean, comfortable and newly remodeled. Ricky and Terry were both very helpful and accommodating and provided tips about getting around. One thing to keep in mind is that you cannot reach the location by automobile as there is no vehicular road to the site, so plan accordingly.

Jun 27, 2019왜 5점만점인지... 10점 주고싶어요. 친절한 호스트를 만나서 첫날 공항에서 멘붕왔던게 겨우 회복되었네요! 홍콩 다시가면 꼭 여기올거에요. 재방문의사 2000%입니다. 리키가 택시 내리는곳 까지 데리러왔고 짐도들어줬어요 (지금와서 생각해보면 팁이라도 드렸어야하는건데...) 친절한 호스트와 완벽하게 분리된 개인공간을 원한다면 무조건 추천이에요!!

Jun 27, 2019Please please pick this place, it is a must if you want to travel in hongkong , and see an amazing view ! The host is very professional, they will help you if you have any questions ! Also please be respectful to their place, it is so beautiful. The roof top has one of the best sunset views. It is also extremely private ! Come and bring more people there ! Great family place !
Jun 27, 2019我觉得房间同环境好好,门口有玫瑰,哈哈,估计早上睇会好靓,虽然我地过去系住一晚,但系terry好好人,交代路线入住等等都好详细,第二日我地好早去机场又帮我地call车,真系好好好好人,如果再去香港玩嘅话都会再考虑
Jun 27, 2019房间位置很好,真是在一片树林中间,车不能到,非常安静,空气很好,房间非常干净,有个很棒的天台,徒步很方便,可以走去大佛,大澳,Ricky和Terry都很好沟通,乐于提供各种帮助信息,下次计划约几个朋友一起去｡

Jun 27, 2019Ricky was very communicative and helpful. I appreciated the fact that he let me check-in much earlier than the official check-in time, because of my flight landing time in Hong Kong. The instructions to reach the guest house were very clear with both text and picture instructions. The transit map he provided was also a lot more accurate and helpful than (Hidden by Airbnb) Maps was.

Jul 27, 2019房子特别好,比想象中大｡从机场打车过去70港币｡我们是去看演唱会的,当天11点才到,去房子的路上没有路灯很黑,我们有些害怕是房东来接的我们,人特别好｡ 第二天天亮了真的是被周围景色吸引,很漂亮｡走的时候房东帮忙叫了车也送我们出去,一直等的士来了才走｡ 房东人超级好,中文沟通没问题｡房子也特别好,干净还大｡ 就是洗澡的时候没热水…

Jun 27, 2019接待我们很热情,由于我们自身原因在晚上10.30后入住,需要自助入住,到达后十一点多,还特地出来告诉我们设施使用,并询问隔天航班,帮我们叫车好赶去机场,人很好,这次比较赶又是晚上没留意周围环境,下次有时间可以早点去好好感受下这边的气氛,很安静,适合休息｡
