Cesar goes well above and beyond to make his guests feel comfortable. He personally greeted me, recommended some restaurants (I went to one and had amazing sushi) and showed patiently how the pool and refrigerator work. The apartment looks even better than on the pictures. I especially loved the rooftop with 360 view. I really had a good chance to relax and unwind in Cesars place. One thing to mention is that the apartment has a great energy all round, I would highly recommend it to anyone.
Jun 27, 2019This is my second time staying at Cesars place, this time for about a week. The reason I came back is because besides marvelous view and the setup the place has this amazing energy which is especially rejuvenating after a stressful work period back in NYC. Wherever you are in the apartment your eyes are almost constantly facing the green if the trees, water and the Christo statue in the background which is very relaxing. During my starving was around 35C in Rio so I spend a good time in the pool which is very deep, clean and enjoyable. Tivesse so good I barely went to the gym which is literally minutes away. Cesar was super kind, he is definitely not your regular Airbnb host. As he knows I like to cook potatoes he showed me how to cook Mandioca Brazilian potatoes with shrimps. It was an unforgettable cooking and gastronomic experience. I will certainly come back again next time I am in Ipanema.

Jun 27, 2019O apartamento do Cesar é um sonho carioca! Com o Corcovado, o morro dois irmãos, a mesa do imperador e a lagoa todos no seu campo de visão! A recepção foi primorosa, a Patricia é uma assistente que nos ajudou em tudo além de preparar um delicioso café da manhã! (Voltar da Sapucai cansado e ter um café fresquinho com um pão de queijo quentinho te esperando não tem preço!!!) Recomendo fortemente e iremos voltar com certeza! Simplesmente sem pontos negativos! Jun 27, 2019O espaço do Cesar é incrível. * Bem localizado, com facil acesso a Lagoa / praia / restaurantes. * Seguro (rua sem saida). * Tem uma vista vista da Lagoa / Cristo Redentor que é única * Bem decorado * Reservado (voce fecha a porta da cozinha e tem o apartamento todo pra voce) * O café da manhã da Patricia torna a experiencia ainda mais exclusiva. * O Cesar é super atencioso e disponível, possui diversas dicas do bairro e do RJ que nos ajudaram no passeio. Voltarei, com certeza!
Jun 27, 2019Very nice and well decorated appartment with a speechless view of Rio! We didnt have the chance to meet Cesar but he was very available and helpful by phone and (Hidden by Airbnb) . He is for sure a super host!
Jun 27, 2019Was an excellent experience right from the start. Cesar was very attentive and took care of our well-being more than he needed to: he offered breakfast and even supper during our stay. He was also giving great recommendations to restaurants. Would go back again!
Jun 27, 2019This was a great apartment in Rio waking up every morning to a great view. Great location close to the nightlife but just far enough away to avoid the noise. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone. The pool was a nice touch on hot days.
Jun 27, 2019Ceaser's place is very much a rooftop penthouse. Beautiful original art pieces and wonderful furniture. Great to hangout on the roof or in the pool. Best of all though is the service his housekeeper offers. Breakfast every morning. Laundry items. And ceaser even cooked us a meal one day. Lovely place. Luxury living! We will be back

Jun 27, 2019Cesar was an amazing host and his place was great! He was super helpful with suggestions and very accessible any time we needed anything. We ended up trying all the restaurants he recommended and weren’t disappointed! The place is fantastic and we made daily use of the pool and rooftop patio, both which had amazing views and were kept very well. We would definitely stay there next visits to Rio!

Jun 27, 2019Demorei bastante tempo a encontrar um hotel/apartamento onde ficar no Rio de Janeiro. E não podia estar mais satisfeita com a escolha que fiz. O apartamento é exactamente o que se vê nas fotografias, super cool, num bairro bastante acessível e charmoso de Ipanema, rodeado de boas ofertas. E claro, a mencionar a vista indescritível para a Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas. Saudade! O Cesar elevou a fasquia de Airbnb ao incluir pequeno-almoço diário na estadia. Jun 27, 2019Este lugar é único! O apartamento é muito confortável e tem uma vista incrível para o Rio de Janeiro. Fotos não fazem justiça. O café da manhã também é de primeira. A convivência com o Cesar é tranquilíssima e ele fez questão de que estívessemos sempre confortáveis. As dicas de restaurantes e turismo dele foram excelentes. Ele e a Ana também foram muito flexíveis com nossos horários.
Jun 27, 2019My husband and I had a wonderful time at Cesar’s place. The location and condo are unique and the views are amazing. The condo is on a beautiful quiet street but within a short walk to beaches, restaurants, shopping, running paths and more. Cesar was a great host! He provided us with tons of helpful tips about the city, activities, and restaurants. He was easy to communicate with and always available for any questions we had. He definitely made us feel welcome, making us a great little meal when we arrived. To top it off, Anna, his maid, made us a traditional Brazilian breakfast in the mornings. Can’t say enough good things about our experience.

Jun 27, 2019Cesar’s place was the perfect compliment to a beautiful city. The place is in a terrific neighborhood for a leisurely stroll. The views are far more incredible than the photos. Swimming in a private pool overlooking the Christ statue was truly remarkable. And of course, the hospitality demonstrated by Cesar and Ana was terrific.

Jun 27, 2019Cesar's beautiful triplex was as described, if not, more beautiful than the pictures. Overlooking Christ the Redeemer and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, the apartment had spectacular views. Breakfast was served on weekdays, the apartment was sparkly clean, the small private pool was a special treat after exploring the city, and the views were one I won't forget. Conveniently located in Ipanema, the apartment is walking distance to grocery stores, world class restaurants, and beautiful beaches. Cesar was an incredibly kind host. He left us snacks on arrival and shared with us a cake upon departure. A truly kind spirit. The hardest part was leaving. Would love to return one day. Saudades!

Jun 27, 2019What can I say.... César is a great guy, I had a pleasant stay in his apartment, he basically showered me with tips and possibilities and helped me wherever he could. I only had a rather short stay in his apartment and Cesar helped me to fill the short time as much as possible with the main activities. I enjoyed the time a lot. The view from his rooftop terrace is just marvelous. I would rent the apartment definitely again.

The outdoor space was the ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Cesar gave us recommendations on activities each day which was really helpful, as we had not done much planning prior to arriving in Rio. I highly recommend staying here!
