CHECK OUT: it is always at 11:00 am because my cleaning lady comes at that time and I can't change her schedule for every guest . If case your flight it's in the afternoon or night and you would like to spend the afternoon there you can just pay for half day as previous guest have offered the day of their check out. In case you just need to leave your luggage there while you around that also can be arrange if I DO NOT have another guest coming up same day. Thank you so much! :)

Yes, there is plenty of public transportation around. 5 metro lines: L Train 7 min walk / G train 14 min walk / JMZ Trains 14 min walk. Bus on N1st and Bedford and N1 and Driggs Citi Bikes around the corner!

Adela's apartment is fantastic – perfectly located in the heart of Williamsburg, very clean, nicely furnished and convenient. Definitely one of the best New York apartments I stayed in recently. Adela was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended!

Jun 27, 2019Very nice Apt. in the hearth of Williamsburg and Bedford, wich is like the coolest place in Brooklyn, but in a very quiet and safety street. The apt, is in a 4th floor (no elevator) very clean and luminous. You have two subway stations at 10'walk, and is really cool also if you want to bike the city. Ade is really nice, will let everything ready for you and give some suggestions, se can speak Spanish too and in general all was as I expected, I would def. Recommend this place.

Jun 27, 2019Adela's apartment is perfect, just as it looks in the photos, and was immaculately clean. The bed is comfy, the heating is warm ( we stayed in mid November) and the location is really good, close to all the bars restaurants and shops of the local area but the street is quiet so you will sleep well! It is only a short walk to the L train subway, and there's also 2 other subway lines a little further walk away so it's easy to travel around the whole of NYC from here. We loved staying here! Adela is easy and quick to communicate with and very kind, she gave us a fantastic list of recommendations for food and other things in the local area. Thank you Adela!

El departamento mostraba el espiritu de su anfitriona, mezcla de fotografía y música. Ade was super nice and a very good host. The department was better than I expected, much wider than the pictures showed and more cozy. The department shows Ade's spirit, a mix of photography and music.
Jun 27, 2019Ade is an excellent hostess. It was great to meet her upon checking in, and to get her awesome list of local recommendations which we immediately put to use from the fist night. The apartment is in a great location, close to the L train which is a 10min ride into the city. Not that you need to leave Williamsburg, we had some of the best food and drinks there during our NY visit! Ade's place is clean, with an eclectic decor, it's comfortable and surprisingly quiet. Communication with Ade was easy, and everything went very smoothly over our week-long stay. Thanks again for having us, Ade :)

Jun 27, 2019Super logement en plein dans williamsburg. Ade est très sympatique et nous a accueilli chaleureusement. Elle nous a aussi donné plein de bonnes adresses de resto et de sorties dans le quartier. L'appartement est bien situé à quelques minutes du métro Bedfort avenue, à un arrêt de métro de Manhattan. Il est pratique, mignon et calme. Le lit est hyper confortable. Il y a même la TV avec Netflix pour regarder des films ou séries. Vraiment parfait, nous recommandons ce lieu. L’appartement de Ade est un super bon plan pour qui veut passer une semaine à New York au calme. Merci Ade!
Jun 27, 2019Adela's place was awesome. The location could not be beat - close to everything in Williamsburg including the waterfront and both the JMZ and L Trains for easy access to Manhattan. Her unit is decent sized and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the furniture and decorations nice. It was also very clean. While I never met her, check in and communication were a breeze. We would not hesitate to stay at her place again.

Besides, it's so well-located in the heart of Williamsburg surrounded with a lot of restaurants and bars and close to Manhattan(1 stop - Metro L Bedford 5-minute walking). If you want to discover Brooklyn, it's the perfect place. Ade will give you the name of all the places she likes around her flat. We had the chance to meet Ade our last day and she'is as her flat : really nice and charming :) She let us leave our luggages very late as our plane was at midnight whereas she has already came back from her trip and was jetlag! Thanks a lot Ade for everything! Do not hesitate to rent her flat
Jun 27, 2019We had a great time staying at Ade's apartment. The place was very comfortable, exactly like on the photos. It was a hot week in New York but the air con worked fine. The bed was comfortable and the decor made you feel instantly at home. Wifi was excellent and a decent sized TV with Netflix which we didn't use once because there were more exciting things to do. As mentioned, the apartment block is very quiet ... amazing given how close it is to the main road of restaurants, shops and bars of Bedford Avenue. We walked around day and night in perfectly safe environment. We took Ade up on some recommended places to eat and they were all great local places, well researched. It was easy walking distance to all points of interest in Williamsburg, from the vintage market to the regular street food festival and East River Ferry, providing access to other parts of Brooklyn, downtown NYC and Governor's Island. The short walk to different subways meant getting into the city was very fast, particularly areas such as East Village and Park Slope. We regularly went from the heart of the city back to the apartment within 20-30 minutes, a good escape when the crowds got too much in Manhattan. Ade welcomed in and helped us up with the bags on day 1. There is no lift but compared to subways, a few flights of stairs was not a problem. Again, on departure day she was very accommodating letting us leave the bags and helping us with getting them down again.

The top floor location really does make it quiet. This is a great place to stay, whether you want to spend time in Williamsburg or Manhattan.

Jun 27, 2019Location location location: Ade's apartment is perfectly situated in the best part of Williamsburg, making it so easy to hit the bars, the waterfront, and the metro. With a location this great, you can walk two blocks in any direction and find fantastic food and entertainment. Super hip Greenpoint is a lovely stroll away, and the East Village is just one stop away on the subway. Ade's place was the ideal home base for exploring Brooklyn and Manhattan. Ade herself was very cool, friendly, and helpful throughout the trip.

Water pressure is good, there is beautiful natural light in the main area and the bedroom and a comfy bed/pillows. Ade is friendly, accommodating and all communication was excellent before and during our stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Jun 27, 2019We stayed at Ade's apartment for 8 days and had an excellent experience! We decided to live in Williamsburg and we were very happy about it - it is definitely the best neighborhood to live in NYC, full of great cafes, restaurants, shops and bars. And everything is within a few minutes walk from the apartment. The apartment is in a perfect location and although it is in the center of everything, it is still very quiet day and night. Ade was very nice from the first conversation until the end of our visit and made us feel very comfortable about staying at her apartment. We felt that she really wanted that everything will be perfect for us. She even let us leave our luggage at the apartment after checking out. The apartment is spacious with lots of windows full of natural light and air. It was also very clean! I would really recommend staying at Ade's apartment and would definitely like to stay there again in my next visit.
Jun 27, 2019Ade was very welcoming even before I arrived (emailed a list of sites, restaurants, etc.). Even though my flight was late, she was there to let me in and show me around. She even helped me carry my bags (up to 4th floor). The apartment is exactly as pictured in a very good location. It is clean and comfy with great natural light and ventilation. We had one minor glitch during my stay which she promptly addressed and left a treat for my inconvenience. I would definitely recommend staying at Ade's place.

Ade was so helpful with tips on local bars and eateries, there are so many just steps away from her apartment. The location is also close to gorgeous boutiques and vintage stores and really handy if you want to catch the L train into Manhattan. We would definitely recommend her place if you are looking for a great base to visit Brooklyn (and Manhattan) and we would love to come back and stay again!!

She gave us recommendations about where to shop and eat and she was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Williamsburg is a fantastic neighbourhood, Close to lower Manhattan but much more quite, but with lots of shops and restaurants. The apartment really is in the best location just of Bedford ave. Located on the fourth floor there are no disturbing street noice. We definitly recommend this apartment and would absolutly stay there again!
Jun 27, 2019Ade's apartment in Williamsburg was perfect for my needs. It's clean and well decorated, quite roomy (at least compared to NYC hotels), and very convenient. It has a clean, nice shower, a comfortable bed, a roomy sitting area and a writing desk. It also has a small, very practical kitchen that you can use to cook meals when not eating out. There's a medium size flat screen TV in the bedroom, with Netflix, and the internet wifi connection, which is immensely important to me as a tech guy on the go, was lightning fast. The building is a little old and unkept, but don't let that scare you - the apartment is in perfect condition. Do be aware that it's on the 4th floor and the stairwell is quite steep, so don't stay here if you have a disability or very small children. The most wonderful thing about the apartment is the neighbourhood. Williamsburg is charming, and there are numerous cafes, bars and restaurants literally a few steps away. I particularly liked "Samurai Mama" and "Snacky", check them out if you're into Asian food. There's also the Williamsburg Music Hall and the Knitting Factory - well known venues where you can sample the local rock bands. And, importantly, the streets felt to me safe enough to walk around alone at night. The apartment is a few minutes away from the subway station where you can take the L train to Manhattan - a few stations away. Ade herself was friendly and very helpful. I found her to be the perfect host - responsive enough when I needed her, but she didn't bother me at all when I didn't. I travel to NYC a lot, and I will be more than happy to stay at Ade's again next time I get there.

O apartamento é muito bom, aconchegante, confortável e em um ponto excelente, a poucas estações de Manhattan e rodeado de bares e restaurantes incríveis. Adela nos deu ótimas dicas para curtir o bairro. Fomos em praticamente todos os lugares indicados e amamos! Mesmo de longe, Adela estava sempre disponível para nos ajudar. Ade was not around but was super helpful over the phone/ by email and collecting the key/finding the apartment was all pretty easy. The shower temperature seemed a little temperamental but we figured it out (it seemed to work in sync with the heaters) . All in all a lovely experience though. Thanks Ade!

Adela was very easy to deal with in the lead up and during our stay, responding promptly to messages, and ready to give recommendations about the neighbourhood in addition to the list provided in the apartment. The apartment is very well presented as in the photographs, very clean and comfortable with good heat, and is located in an ideal spot right in the heart of Williamsburg and just the experience we were after. Would certainly stay here again.

Se encontraba muy muy limpio y adicionalmente cuenta con todo lo necesario para una estadia perfecta. Ade es una anfitriona espectacular con la cual fue muy facil coordinar el ingreso y entrega de las llaves. Adicionalmente se preocupo por informarnos sobre lugares para comer y visitar, y siempre se encontro disponible para consultas. Definitivamente volveria a quedarme aqui y lo recomiendo en un 100%.
Jun 27, 2019ADE is a perfect host...she was here when we arrive and when we leave the place, she explains us the neighborood, she calls a cab for us....absolutely perfect ! the flat is exactly as describe and it's very quiet wich seems to be rare in NYC... the neighborood is Just Wonderfull with a lot of places to go for breakfast lunch diner or to have a drink...but ADE Will explains you that better than me !

We went to visit the city, and it was great being so close but not right in Manhattan. The apartment was really quiet, and perfectly stocked. We really enjoyed our stay and exploring Williamsburg as our home base.

She couldn't have been any more helpful and she is a really friendly and genuine person. Her apartment feels really homely and has great character. It's a great reflection of her style and personality. I felt very comfortable staying there. Her apartment is right on the doorstep of all the action in and around Bedford Ave and really close to the subway too. You couldn't ask for a better location in Williamsburg. If you happen to be from Melbourne you will find Williamsburg is quite like Fitzroy with a similar vibe to Smith/Brunswick Streets. I have nothing negative at all to say about my whole experience. It truly was perfect in every way. I can't recommend Adela and her apartment highly enough. To Adela... thanks for everything. I appreciate it very much! :)

L'appart est tel que décrit, cosy, spacieux, propre. Ade est adorable, elle a tout fait pour que l'on se sente bien et a toujours été disponible. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous recommandons vivement l'appartement de Ade!!!

I was here for work so I didn't have much free time, but Ade still sent an extensive list of restaurants and things to explore. I would highly recommend staying here!

Jun 27, 2019We arrived in NYC late due to a major airline system outage, conveniently happening as a significant snow storm was beginning. Despite these setbacks, Adela could not have been more helpful. Although she was not there to greet us at the apartment as planned (we don't hold it against her - transit and roads were coming to a full stop in NYC!), she kept in constant contact throughout our stay to make sure we were safe and finding what we needed. We're sorry we didn't have a chance to meet her, but very thankful for her hospitality. Adela's apartment is spotless and comfortable, and it provided a great home base during our adventure in snowy New York. It's also very conveniently located near the Williamsburg Bridge.

Jun 27, 2019Ade has a perfect Williamsburg apartment -- surrounded by great restaurants, bars, and cafes. It is very close to the L. The apartment is clean and very comfortable for 2 people. Even better, she goes out of her way to be a welcoming and accommodating host. We have come back to her flat multiple times now because it is such a great place to stay. You do need to be able to walk up the 4 flights of stairs, but it is worth it to get to your convenient, quiet, lovely spot in the heart of all the Williamsburg fun.

Communication with Ade was great in advance - she was really helpful and always responded right away. One tricky thing is when the heat comes on it is very warm but that made sense because it's hard to regulate these things in the spring. Jun 27, 2019Me and my boyfriend stayed in Ade's flat for 8 nights and it was great. Best location in Williamsburg, close to bars, shops, restaurants, subway and supermarket. The flat is clean and cool. Looks like the pictures. Ade is a really good host, she arrange with keys and let us now that we could contact here if we had any questions. When we left she let us leave our bags after check out and helped us book a taxi. If we come back to NY we would definitely stay at Ade's again. Thanks for everything Ade.
Jun 27, 2019Great apartment! Amazing location, blocks from the water, blocks from the Bedford L stop, and close to tons of bars and restaurants. The apartment was cozy, clean, and very pleasant to stay in. I would definitely stay again. Ade was a fabulous host. She had detailed instructions about everything regarding the apartment. Whenever I had a question, she promptly responded. She even suggested some shows I attend while in town. Very friendly person and a great host!

Jun 27, 2019Ade was a fantastic host and the apartment was great. The place was easy to find with the directions given, and we had no problem getting the keys. The place is exactly as shown in the photos, clean and very cozy. The Location is very good, 5 minutes walking from the subway and in a very nice part of Williambsburg, near a lot of cool restaurants and bars, but the street of the apartment is very quiet. We met Ade, and was very helpful with advice about the neighborhood and helped us get a taxi to the airport the last day. I would definitely come back again.

Jun 27, 2019Ade's apartment is everything you could want in a stay in Brooklyn. The Apartment is spotlessly clean, and spacious for a 1bd. Small equipped kitchen and fridge if you wished to cook; (not that you'll need to when you are here), but the fridge is handy for cheese from the Bedford Cheese Shop!!! The Apt location is absolutely central just off Bedford and close to the local grocery shop (Foodtown). Ade is a great host, communication is prompt and concise and she is very helpful and always checked in with us to see everyone was going ok. Highly Recommend, we will stay again!!!

Jun 27, 2019Wow, what a lovely place to spend our honeymoon. Ade was a super host, always helpful and flexible with a smile. The appartment was awesome, welcoming and clean. Close to great secondhand shops, grocery shops etc. and metro. A lively neighbourhood,where you could always get a tasty bite to eat on our way back. We would definitely stay at Ade's if we go back to NY, we give her our best and warmest recommendations.
Jun 27, 2019Ade's place is right in the heart of Williamsburg, so the location is great, six short blocks to the L and surrounded by great restaurants and bars. It's a New York one bedroom, so it's not big, but Ade has done a great job with the space in terms of functionality and aesthetics, and the windows let in a ton of light during the day, so you don't feel cramped. We stayed during a mid-summer heat wave, so the air-conditioner was key, and even though it doesn't do a great job of cooling down the bedroom, we slept pretty comfortably. One minor thing to note: there's no real closet space or drawers to put your belongings. We're not the type that mind living out of our suitcases, so it didn't necessarily bother us, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Ade was very quick with her communication, so getting into and checking out of her apartment proved simple and convenient I would say this is the perfect place to stay if you want a cute, centrally located Brooklyn home base with easy access to Manhattan and you don't plan on hanging out very much at the apartment... but it's New York, so what the heck are you doing hanging out in an apartment anyway?!?!

Jun 27, 2019Ade is very easy to get in contact with and always happy to help out. Her apartment is in a quiet building off the main street. It's in the perfect spot in Brooklyn/Williamsburg with a less than 5 minute walk to the Subway (L line) which is 3 stops away from Union Square Subway which gets you basically anywhere in Manhattan. There's plenty of cafes, restaurants and nightlife around. Will be coming back here next time in NY!

Jun 27, 2019absolutely great location - 5 mins walk to L train then 10 into Manhattan. Williamsburg and Brooklyn are (IMO) the best places in New York. Bedford is great but so much more around too. Apartment was clean and nice. Access was easy. Apartment was quiet considering how close it was to the action. Nice fast broadband.

I was lucky enough to visit friends who lived in the city and experienced little slices of everyone's universe that is NY. I am grateful that Ade shared her little slice and allowed me to set up camp, explore Brooklyn, and have a safe and inspirational place to get lost in my work while I was in NY.

Place is cosy and homely, with a great level of culture and cool. Everything in the home ran smoothly, the building it's in is lovely. Jun 27, 2019Brilliant location - quiet street but on the doorstep of lots of bars, restaurants, shops (and Martha's bakery which is amazing if you have a sweet tooth). Only a 5 minute walk to Bedford Avenue station which is one stop away from the Lower East Side. The flat is perfect for a couple and I would highly recommend Ade who is a great host.

Letting us leave bags until our flight left and check in after midnight when we first arrived with no hesitation. Highly recommend. Jun 27, 2019Ade was a great host, she was excellent in communicating throughout the process and made our stay very comfortable. The apartment is a creative and artsy space which was fun to stay in. Ade also offered to extend our check-out to late afternoon for a fraction of the daily rate which made this very easy prior to travels. Great location within Williamsburg and only a short stroll to the subway which takes approx 10min to get to Manhattan.

The bed is comfy and there's a blackout shade in the bedroom so we slept very well :) there are lots of cafes and coffee shops in the area, and the L and G trains are only a short walk away. The bathroom is a bit small but we got used to it after a few days.

You find all you need just around the corner, it’s a few blocks from the waterfront, Brooklyn bridge/Dumbo and also to the metro, if you are interested visiting Manhattan it’s just a few minutes with the train. Although it's in a crowded area, it‘s quiet. I totally recommend this apartment , very clean and filled with nice art pieces. Ade was the perfect host, always helpful and she never let me wait at any time. I was very happy being your guest. Thank you Ade!

Jun 27, 2019Good location at a good price. The apartment is less than a half a block off of Bedford at a location that has a lot of good local bars and restaurants. We felt very safe though there is a vacant lot that you could walk by on her street. However, we did not make much of it, but you could walk on the other side of the street if that bothers you. The street is well lit. We worried a little about noise given Williamsburg's reputation for hipness. However, this ended up not being a problem. Restaurants were still open after 9, but you could still walk into them without reservations. At night, it was busy enough to feel safe, but it was sparse enough for it to be farely quiet. Getting into Manhattan can be an issue. The L train is the only train coming into the neighborhood. If it isn't running, the closest stop is Marcy at the end of the Williamsburg bridge which is probably a 30 minute walk. The ferry, which is a bargain, is close and will cross the East River and drop you off at 34th close to the UN Building. However, it does not run after 9:30 in the evening. Ade's building is a little ratty which you will see in the stairwell. However, her apartment is perfectly fine. The bed is comfortable which is nice compared to most Air BNB hosts. There is a window unit AC for the entire apartment. Depending on the time of year, I am not sure if it will cool the bedroom well since it's in a different part of the apartment (though there is an oscillating fan there). We did not have a problem since it was October. There is no microwave oven. It is four flights up with pretty large stairs and no elevator. I would avoid this apartment if you are elderly or handicapped. We did not meet Ade which it is getting pretty common not to meet the host. However, we had no problems. The process to get the key was easy. She had recommendations printed and posted in the room, and she was quick to respond to questions by messaging. For our purposes, this was a great place to consider if the L train is running. We would not stay her again if the L train isn't running. However, if you don't mind working around the ferry schedule and you want to visit Williamsburg and Greenpoint, this will work well for you.
