Neighborhood Overview
Tsim Sha Tsui is the city's most exciting area, with top notch museums such as The Science Museum and Art Museum clustered around the waterfront. Nathan Road, Chungking Mansions and the Avenue of Stars, the latter boasting the best views in town. Although the apartment is in a vibrant area, the apartment itself is very quite a night. Its a perfect escape after a long day out and about. There are over 2,500 restaurants in the area which cater to every taste, from traditional Chinese Dim Sum, hawker style stall foods to exceptional French cuisine within 5 star hotels. Supermarkets and 24/7 convenience stores are just down the road, which can provide you all of your daily necessities any time day or night.

The unit is as it appears on the description, small and cozy, located in the heart of Kowloon. I find it good for young travellers that want to discover the city (our case). Not recommended for copuples seeking a romantic trip since is quite busy and noisy. Big dissapointed was that Water heater didnt work and had to take a cold water shower. Regarding owner response, it took a while for him/her to answer but afterwards everything was fine.

Jun 27, 2019Great little place in a very convenient part of Hong Kong. We are a family of three who have been to Hong Kong a number of times. Although we usually stay in a hotel on Hong Kong Island, we decided to stay in Jenkin's place due to the price, apparent cleanliness, and in order to better experience life in Kowloon. We were definitely not disappointed. The unit is quite small but they make efficient use of the space and the reality is that it was more spacious than any hotel room, aside from the most deluxe suites. Location wise it doesn't get any better. Just steps from Tsim Sha Tsui (TST), and then everything that TST has to offer readily at hand. Shopping and eating for all price ranges and tastes. We won't hesitate to stay there again on future visits to the city.
Jun 27, 2019Hey the apartment is centrally located , 2 mins walk from the TST MTR and the apartment has been beautifully decorated. Also the Host Jenkins and lilo are welcoming and very helpful , they do everything possible to make sure you are comfortable. I would highly recommend this apartment for smaller groups. It was a wonderful experience and I really enjoyed my stay. I am sure the hosts will make your stay comfortable and do everything possible to make sure you face no problems.

Hosts were very easy to get in touch with, promptly helped us out with a water issue at the building (that was not their fault), and the space was very clean and comfortable. It's a small space, definitely best for folks like us who just need a comfortable place to sleep after a day of exploring the city. Thanks for a great experience!

Jun 27, 2019Suggestion/Feedback Toilet - at the shower area, to do a sliding door instead of using curtain as water will spill to the floor near the toilet bowl area. No place to hang socks after washing. Sofa bed - material catch dust easily. To extend it to become a bed and making sure that it is fixed correctly, must be extra careful as my son hurt his hand. Living room aircon - thought aircon was spoilt as we couldnt on it. We didnt know that the switch, which is hidden in the cupboard, is not switch on until when we met Helen when we are checking out. Overall, we still can accept and hope that there will be improvement. Thanks to both Jenkin and Helen.

Jun 27, 2019I didn't personally meet Jenkin/Ricky. However, communication was a breeze. He connect me with Helen and she was nice! Jenkin allowed me to put my luggages first in the apartment which make things easier for me and family before actual check in. He also allowed me to keep those luggages while I kill some times before leaving. Thank you for that! Room was very nice, clean, cozy (looks exactly from the pictures). Amenities are there, TV, kitchen, iron, etc. Wifi is good! Location is perfect! Going to places were easy via MTR. The area around the apartment was always busy but very safe, I must say. Happy with the whole trip to HK. Stay with Jenkin, highly recommended! Thank you for everything, Jenkin and Ricky! And thank you to Helen too!

Jun 27, 2019Location is almost everything in Hong Kong. Host service is a close second. Jenkin is an accessible and attentive host, and that's something you may need in a complicated city like Hong Kong. This is an efficiently designed very small space which makes it seem larger than it is. The layout is (1) a bed-sized sleeping area with a curtain and sliding door for privacy; (2) a comfortably sized and appointed bathroom with a nicely tiled shower with plenty of hot water and strong water pressure; and (3) a living room with comfortable sofa, reliable wifi, and clothes hanging rack. There is a fridge and microwave and hotplate, with enough cookware for two people. You wash your dishes in the bathroom. All three rooms are recently remodeled and tiled. The bed is very comfortable. Both the bedroom and living room have air conditioners. The little apartment is on the 6th floor of an old and dingy (but clean) Kowloon apartment building one block from the stunning fountains of Kowloon Park and the subway, and a million places right there in your face. It is a 10 minute exciting walk (as in every single time its exciting) to the picturesque harbor ferry to Hong Kong Island (or you can take the subway there). Like many Asian buildings, the elevators are very slow and often crowded with friendly people, but remarkably, each floor has an elevator on either end of the hallway. You walk out of Jenkin's apartment, look left and look right to see which elevator will arrive first, a fun little game for us. The very safe neighborhood is extremely trendy, filled with excited locals and tourists, and many places open until late. (My favorite bar and restaurant were open until 3am, both very funky). I might stay in one of Jenkin's larger units next time but, you know, I'm not sure since this little place just grows on you after two days. He is a master host, his cleaning lady is so nice and right nearby, and he takes a lot of pride in making your stay high quality. He even guided our taxi driver to the front door by cell phone, and he is always, always accessible. It's remarkable.

Jun 27, 2019The apartment is in a great location for exploring the Tsim Sha Sui area. The MTR station is right outside the building entrance, and the harbor area is just a few blocks away to the south and west. The living space is small but well organized, with a separate bedroom (just big enough for the bed) with its own air-con, and the bathroom is a very usable size. The main drawback to the apartment is that it is on the 6th floor of a 15 floor building and the queues can get long for the elevator. There is one elevator at each end of the long hall on the 6th floor but on the ground level they are completely separated. A few times I waited on the ground floor in a queue for 15-20 minutes and the elevator fills up before being able to get in, so plan your trips, don't expect to go in and out a lot, and avoid mid-day and evening hours when people are coming home. Of course this is not an issue the host can resolve, but I think any guests should anticipate.

Jun 27, 2019What you see is what you get. The apartment is fantastic. What I loved most about it is the location where you're smack in the middle of Nathan road and very near malls such as Harbor City. Not only that but the place is literally beside the MTR Tsim Sha Tsui Station, so commuting is a breeze. You'll never feel alone given how responsive and accommodating Jenkin is. Helen (the housekeeping lady) beats any housekeeping services from hotels. She's easy to talk to and extremely friendly. I'm definitely going back.
Jun 27, 2019This flat was in an extremely convenient location. A few steps to the MTR and the airport bus. Jenkins provided easy to follow directions, and the self checkin was hassle-free. The apartment was a small, but clean and well organized.
Jun 27, 2019The place looked exactly like the photo. It was just me and sister but the place is convenient enough for three people. Location was phenomenal, as it was right next the TST station, big malls, and the harbour. Even though we never met, Jenkin was a very helpful host. Reply came in less than 5min! I had a great stay and I def. recommend the place. The dumpling place on the first floor of the building was a nice surprise too, should check it out if you choose to stay here.
Jun 27, 2019jenkin在尖沙咀的这套房子离地铁口很近,去海洋公园和迪士尼都在50~60分钟内,走路30分钟就能到维多利亚港和星光大道,而且边上广东道,北京道啥的,买化妆品买药相当方便｡房间虽然不大但整洁干净,香港这种寸土寸金的地方住着还算是比较舒服的了｡所以总体上值得推荐｡

Jun 27, 2019Best place to stay in HK. Literally steps away from TST station. Easy access from and to the airport via A21 bus. Lots of food choices nearby. Highly recommend the N1 coffee shop. Elevator access isn't a problem as mentioned in early reviews. Didn't have to wait in line at all most of the time. Shopping isn't a problem with Harborcity and Oceanterminal districts nearby. We felt safe at all times in the neighborhood. Will definitely stay in this place the next time we come back.

The apartment is extremely modern and the two beds are extremely comfortable! The location is so convenient and was perfect distance from my conference and also local shopping centres. Jenkin le propriétaire est très gentil et surtout très réactif même en pleine nuit, il vous répond dans la minutes, vous donne les explications qu'il faut, Personnellement je vais souvent à Hong Kong, j'y retournerais et avec plaisir. Nearby plenty of local eateries and 5 minutes walk to harbour shopping centre and isquare shopping centre which houses mark & spencer. Place is very small( I live in 770msquare block) but clean and tidy. Highly recommended! Thanks for having us.
Jun 27, 2019James is place looks just like the pictures. It was easy to find with his directions and James let me check in early. He was very helpful and nice. The apartment is nice in the inside and located near a MTR location which is great. if you stay here make sure to eat at possianos pizza place which is about a five minute walk. Best pizza ever. Lastly, for the price of hotels in Hong Kong I'm sure James could raise the price and still rent this out. Hotels are outrageous in HK. Don't hesitate to book this place.

He is very responsive and the direction he gave us is clear. Cozy lovely apartment. Although the building is a little bit old, the apartment inside is clean and has everything I need. Definitely recommend to visitors who loves to experience local life in HK.

Before we arrive, we got detailed msg regarding how to get to the place and etc. What I really appreciate about is he allowed us late check out, which gave us extra flexibility in touring Hong Kong. We'll definitely stay at Jame's place again.

Jun 27, 2019Apartamento pequeno, mas com banheiro espaçoso. Bem localizado, a poucos passos do metrô e a uma curta caminhada do pier de Tsim Sha Tsui. Elevador às vezes demora a chegar ou vem cheio, o que é comum em Hong Kong. Várias opções de comida ao redor, supermercados, shopping centers, lavanderias etc. Ponto negativo para o colchão pouco confortável e para o barulho de campainha do 7eleven em frente que passa a noite inteira tocando. Anfitrião atencioso. Voltaria a me hospedar.

Jun 27, 2019Stayed here for 2 nights. It was a perfect place for us (2 tourists) amid of the busy TST area. It was literally at the corner of the TST station which was convenient to go to ANYwhere, not to mention all those places and attractions you must visit right around the area. The room was very clean and spacious to comfortably fit both of us. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wish to stay around the TST area.
Jun 27, 2019We had a great time at this apartment. Location wise it was absolutely perfect, so close to Tsim Sha Tsui station, with lots of amenities, restaurants and bars nearby. Walking distance to the Star Ferry. I wouldn't recommend more than 2 people staying at this apartment, as it is small, but more than suitable for a couple. It had everything you could need. The lift wasn't working one night when we got back late but received excellent communication from the host immediately with what to do. Thanks for the stay!

The place is very clean and with complete home stuffs like microwave, ref, tissues, towels, etc. feels like your at your home. Don't expect that the place is big, but if you're staying for travel only the place is perfect for you, and compare with the HK standard the apartment was big unlike the other hostels in HK which has only 10-11sqm. 4persons can fit the room If we'd visit HK again, i would definitely stay here again. And I would highly recommend this place to my friends. Thank you for the nice service.

Jun 27, 2019ﾄﾗﾝｼﾞｯﾄで､私と娘3人で利用しました｡ 駅至近､六福ｼﾞｭｴﾘｰの上の建物でとても便利な場所です｡詳細な場所が送られてくるので､問題なく辿り着けて､鍵を開けることができました｡ ﾄﾗﾝｼﾞｯﾄであまり時間がなかったけど､夜景だけは子どもたちに見せたいと思って､ﾈｲｻﾞﾝﾛｰﾄﾞ沿いにﾌﾟﾛﾑﾅｰﾄﾞまで歩いていきました｡香港らしい雰囲気が味わえていい滞在となりました｡部屋も綺麗でWi-Fiも使えてとても良かったです｡ 建物裏手のﾏｶｵﾚｽﾄﾗﾝのｴｯｸﾞﾀﾙﾄがとても美味しかったです｡

Jun 27, 2019房间的地理位置非常不错,到了香港后房东给了非常明确的指示,所以没费什么力就到了,机场坐大巴过去也很方便｡房间离地铁站,公交站都很近,周围吃饭,购物去处一应俱全,房东也给了饮食,购物方面非常实用的建议,并且帮助我解决了很多难题｡再次感谢房东,I love HK｡

Jun 27, 2019James’s place is awesome. Location is superb. You couldn’t find such a great location in the middle of TST at this price. Lots of great restaurants around and even great with local Michelin guide shop at your door step. Room was comfortable and perfect for 2-3. We stayed 4 people and 1 child, so it was little crowded for us. We did not spend lots of time in room anyway, so it was perfectly fine. James was very great host. He responded promptly and visited to take care to make sure we had enough beds. He also allowed us to leave luggages after check out. Love the place!
Jun 27, 2019Phoebe was very helpful and quick to respond. She was kind enough to let us Check in early and leave our bags there on the last day before we flew. The location is perfect for central HK right next to everything you need and within walking distance from shops restaurants the water front etc.
Jun 27, 2019Pros are Phoebe was pleasant to communicate with, location is great if you want to be central to the tourist spots in TST, transit from this location was very easy, and apartment was clean. Cons are that the apartment is a bit tired and battered, there’s construction on the building so it’s noisy, and the building’s hallways and common areas are not clean (I expect this is partially to do with the construction). Okay for a short stay, but I would opt to be somewhere quieter for a longer stay.

Jun 27, 2019The location is very good as it is near by to transportation, many shops and restaurants. Lovely Kowloon Park is very close by as well. The building is older, but it does have an elevator. The apartment is really just a room that is divided into a tiny sleeping area with a sliding glass panel and curtain. There is no kitchen just a fridge, hot water kettle and some dishes, cups, etc. There is no place to even wash cups or dishes other than the bathroom. The apartment is nicely renovated and decorated and the bed and couch are comfortable. The shower pressure is good. It is in a busy shopping and restaurant area but it was quiet enough at night for us to sleep with earplugs. We had a problem at check in. We needed an early check in and I asked for this before booking. Phoebe, the co-host assured me several times that we could arrive early and I reconfirmed the time after I booked it. Unfortunately, Phoebe did not tell her assistant and we arrived to find ourselves locked out. We messaged James and the only response we got was to contact Phoebe. Phoebe couldn’t be reached- later when we spoke she explained that she had lost her phone for a period of time. She was very apologetic and brought us a bottle of wine. No corkscrew in the apartment but still nice of her. The next day we were able to store our luggage for a couple of hours without a problem. This place is nice but understand that it is basically a hotel room. I don’t know the prices of hotels in that area but I suspect they’re much higher. It’s a clean, comfortable room in a great location.

Jun 27, 2019It was a tiny but functional place to stay. Good for 2-3 adults or small families with 1-2 toddlers like us. Love, love, love the location!!! MTR station, shoppings, restaurants, bus to and from airport are all few steps from the building. The neighbors were kind and friendly too.
Jun 27, 2019Great location, good house-keeping. Easy to get around, with bus stop and subway station right next to the entrance of the building. The only pain would be the size of the condo—it’s ideal for two. But we came with two little kids, so it turned out to be quite an embarrassment for us... The landlord has been very responsive. We have to give him credit for that. Airbnb customer service was overwhelmingly great! They were very responsible and responsive, and they were quick to take care of our requests and inquiries. Overall speaking, this property is an ideal place for singles or young couples WITHOUT having children with them...

Jun 27, 2019Given that the apartment is in a '60s-era building, the apartment itself has a surprisingly contemporary, modern feel. All amenities and features work well--air con, wifi, water, security, ventilation. It's compact, but big enough for one or two people: comfy bed with black-out curtains in the bedroom, sofa in the living room, bathroom big enough for two. It's clean and feels homey. The location is unbeatable, steps from MTR exit, park, mosque, shops, all that TST and HK have to offer. There's an excellent fried-bao shop on the ground floor! Finally, the check-in/out was super-easy, and communication with the manager was always rapid and obliging. Highly recommended.
Jun 27, 2019Tolle zentrale Lage. MTR direkt vor der Tür. Restaurants, Geschäfte, 7/11 auch direkt vor der Tür. Zimmer waren so, wie auf Bildern zu sehen. Gastgeber schnell erreichbar. Für 2 Personen in Ordnung. Auch vom Flughafen gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar. Wir würden wiederkommen.

The host was super responsive to any questions I had and most importantly all the directions were easy to follow with regards to locating the apartment and checking in. Would stay here next time I am in Honk Kong .

Jul 27, 2019Tsim Sha Tsui was superb in every way. The Airbnb is located in the heart of an area booming with rich culture. Steps away is the train station and bus stop. Access to and from the airport is smooth sailing all the way. The Airbnb is at the doorstep of an array of different cuisines. What to eat will seem like the difficult choice because of the variety. The apartment itself is on a sixth floor with an elevator. Clean and cozy. Once I stepped in I felt right at home. A comfortable space for 2 people. Hong Kong itself marveled. There’s so much to do and see even if it’s not your first time. Having James’ home away from home location allowed for maximum enjoyment. Will stay here again on my next visit. Thank you!

Jun 27, 2019房东很好,中间有一些波折,但是房东解决的很不错｡新房间很好,在香港这种地方,能有这么大房很不错了｡房东是香港人里少有的比较善良的人｡说点题外话:香港人势利眼太严重了｡今天正好下大雨,我们在去海港城的路上突降大雨,我带着孩子去躲雨,没有任何干扰店家的行为,竟然被人赶出来｡当然这个和房东无关,房子和房东真的都很不错,赞一个｡来香港的不二选择｡
Jun 27, 2019地理位置很好,临近弥敦道,楼下就是机场大巴车站｡香港真的是寸土寸金的地方,房间看起来不大,但基本生活用品都很全｡第一天晚上盖的被子有点热,第二天房东就让人送来了薄被子｡唯一有点不足就是房间里的空调声音太大,门锁有点难开,不过掌握窍门了就能快速打开了｡房间到处都有如何使用家用电器的指示,最后一天要寄存行李,房东很贴心耐心的和我沟通~
