I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Bobby's bungalow, so much so that I extended my stay an additional week! The cottage is very comfortable and equipped with everything you need. The space is open and roomy, even more so than the listing pics suggest. As with many Hawaiian dwellings, there are lots of windows, and the cottage offers an open air, indoor/outdoor style of living. Also of note: the bed is new and king-sized, and is super comfortable-- one of the best I've slept on lately. Its wonderfully supportive and guarantees a great night's sleep. Internet access and speeds were very good, something of a priority for me. Washer and drier out the back door was also a plus. Out the front door is a picnic table (put to good use everyday), and a shady sitting area under a blooming Hong Kong Orchid tree-- delightful. The cottage basically sits on its own parcel, with your own private driveway, and so it offers good privacy. The location is somewhat off the beaten path, which I found desirable, as areas of the North Shore can get busy at times. Still, there's easy access to area beaches, shopping in Haleiwa, the weekend farmer's market's, etc. And then there's literally miles of amazing beaches to explore from the cottage to Ka'ena Point. Saving the best for last: Bobby and Mike are excellent hosts and genuinely lovely people-- the aloha spirit here is awesome. Both are very friendly and accommodating, generously sharing weekend BBQ dishes (delicious!) and providing a fresh pineapple to welcome their guest. I had a great time at the Banyan Bungalow-- only wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommended!

The bungalow is a wonderful relaxing zen space that embodies north Shore country. Just down Farrington (~1/2 mile past road bungalow is on) you'll a find lovely public beach. I think the thing that struck us most (as city dwellers) were sounds, dozing off at night to all sorts of lovely birds and the ocean. The cottage itself us cute clean and very well maintained. Bobby was easy to communicate with and very responsive. We'd definitely stay here again!

I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a more local experience. It's very easy to find; it's clean and comfortable; it's close to town, Kealia Trail and Mokuleia Beach; and, it has all the amenities you'd need. Bobby is very responsive and accommodating. The neighboring roosters are up at around 5am, but almost every residential area in Hawaii has those...also a good reason to get out of bed and watch the sun rise! I would definitely stay here again.

The hosts were very welcoming and came to the rescue when needed! They even left us a delicious local pineapple to feast on. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm in town...

Excellent experience. Check-in/check-out was seamless, the place was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I didn't want to leave!

We had a wonderful time here! The cottage was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The cottage came exactly as described, and was perfect for our stay (two people) in the North Shore. We wanted to be a little bit away from the town centers, and this was the perfect choice. There are roosters fairly close that were a bit loud in the mornings, but we simply closed two windows and it was fine. There also seem to be roosters everywhere on the North Shore anyway. The cottage is nice and open for lots of airflow and sunlight! Check in/check out was very easy and Bobby was very responsive throughout the whole booking and stay process. We'd stay again!

This was a lovely space to stay for a relaxing getaway on Oahu! I woke up each morning to birds singing, wind rustling in the palms and the gecko's chirping. Bobby was quick to respond to my last minute inquiry (next day booking), and they had a nice welcome pack for me. I also loved that the kitchen was well stocked with a blender and juicer. I booked this over another place because of a review that the king size bed is comfortable - and it definitely was! There's a beach close by, and I was often the only one on it (or only with a few others), which is incredible to find for the busy island. I'd come back for sure. The area is great, Haleiwa is close by (10min drive) with lots of great restaurants (including a couple great organic, locally sourced ones), smoothie bars, grocery store and surf lessons.

The place is beautiful, exactly as pictured. Very quiet, except for the sounds of the wind and birds in the trees. Bobby was very welcoming and helpful. She even brought me a fresh coconut on my fist day!

Great location for a quiet vacation on Oahu. Short distance to Haleiwa and a variety of beaches. The cottage itself is great, large enough kitchen to cook meals, space indoors and outdoors to relax! Bobby was a great hostess, I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Bobby made me feel very welcome. The place and the neighboorhood are very secluded, calm and quite -- everything I was looking for. Bobby was very responsive, I asked for a small pot and she promptly gave me a brand new one! It was very nice. One of the best parts of the experience were her small treats: fresh mangos and eggs from her property. There were also some groceries in the fridge. Delicious! The place is 10 min walk to a beautiful beach where you have high chances to be all by yourself and experience an amazing sunset. It is a 15 min drive to Haleiwa, the nearest city center with restaurants and groceries. Although the place is very quite and most of the time you can only hear the sound of leafs and sea breeze, the other propertirs have a lot of birds, so you may hear some birds singing early in the morning. I would definetly comeback!

Our host Bobby was wonderful, When my girlfriend and I arrived to her listing on the first day of our stay, we were met her and her husband and we were received and welcomed with warmth. She showed us around and then gave us privacy. The property itself was more than the pictures show. A lot of space on the property and even a second separate outdoor shower to help wash off the sand from the beach which is less than 5 minutes walk away. This is a perfect location. Close to Haleiwa and the North Shore. If you want some peace and quiet and would like to have a wonderful view of the starry night, you'll find it here. This residence gave us the experience of living in the real Authentic country Hawaii that we were looking for. When a tropical storm rolled in a few days before we left, she left a flashlight and a few supplies for us in case we needed them. Bobby takes care of this place well and it shows. Many thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home, and to anyone considering this location, away from the city, go for it. You'll be glad you did.

I had a wonderful stay at Bobby's cottage. Her directions were clear and it was easy to find. I had my own drive and garden, complete with outdoor table and grill. The cottage was exactly as in the pictures and Bobby had left some local treats including freshly laid eggs from her own hens for me! The area is so safe you don't need to shut the doors and it is quiet as anything-except for the wild roosters, but these are everywhere in Hawaii and you get used to them very quickly. The beach is a short walk away, and Bobby loaned me a beach cruiser bicycle so I could ride into the North Shore town of Haleiwa which was on bike paths all the way. The cottage also has a great outdoor shower which is perfect for ending a trip to the beach. Waialua is the real Hawaii, it is quiet and away from most of the touristy stuff and it was very nice not to be in Wakiki! But still only a short drive to historic Haleiwa which has restaurants and shops. I cooked for myself most evenings in the cottage which was easy enough on the hot plate and the cottage was very peaceful in the evening, with fantastic starts to be watched from the garden after dark. Bobby also brought me fresh pineapple from the plantation and the mangos at this time of year were so delicious- another fantastic touch! I'd really recommend staying with Bobby if you are looking for a peaceful, North Shore, real Hawaii stay. It was absolutely fantastic-and the bed is massive and super comfortable! Great value and really super! Bobby is a great host, she was really welcoming and always contactable but left me to my privacy too. She went out of her way to help me get some mail I was expecting and had great recommendations about the area.

This spot is pure heaven. A short walk from the beach, a big garden, a bbq and an outdoor bbq. North Oahu is one of our favourite spots in the world, and this place is a home away from home, that is the perfect beach shack

Bobby was a great host ! The place was perfect, clean, comfortable and lots of space even had laundry available which was great for us as we stayed 2 weeks. Perfect for 2 people. The neighborhood was real nice and a great beach was just a walk away. You couldn't get a hotel this nice for the price. We ended up staying an extra night. If we visit Hawaii again we would definitely stay here again.

Bobbys bungalow was perfect for our stay! Quiet (minus the wild roosters) and secluded, but close enough to town to get everything we needed. Perfect spot if you intend to explore the island.

The Banyan Bungalow was exactly what I needed. Communication with Bobby was prompt which was especially helpful with last minute travel. We met Bobby the first day and she even greeted us with a delicious pineapple. I loved waking up to the birds chirping outside and there was a secluded beach within walking distance. Really enjoyed the solitude of staying in the North Shore as opposed to the craziness of downtown or Waikiki. It's only a 35min drive if you do go into the city but it can take longer during rush hour. Definitely go to Haleiwa which is only a 5min drive and stop at the Paalaa Kai Bakery on your way into town for Snow Puffies and other fresh delicious bakery items. Thank again Bobby for a relaxing week on Oahu!

My mom enjoyed her stay at Bobby's rental, which is cute, clean, and just a short walk to the beach through a beautiful neighborhood. Compared to some of the other AirBnB rentals in the area, this studio was definitely higher quality and a great value. Mom's only complaint was the roosters crowing all night--she didn't get much sleep due to this, although it's not Bobby's fault. Highly recommend this rental; would book again!

You want a quiet get-away with an amazing host, this is your spot. Open residential area where you can live like a local in clean, comfortable surroundings. Walk the beautiful neighborhood to a secluded beach away from all the "normal" tourist spots. This is a unique place to totally relax and enjoy the real beauty of Hawaii. Highly recommended!!

Bobby was an amazing host, helpful and when we needed something she was fast in answering. Mid week, she left us a pineapple. So thoughtful! The place is fantastic. Few minutes to the beach, super calm neighbourhood, plenty of space, awesome big bed, nice shower, perfect wi-fi, tv, cable. Looking forward to go back!

My husband and I stayed here for our vacation and this place was perfect. It's got a little kitchen area so we could cook there and not have to eat out every day. It's the perfect little spot to go to chill. It's close to a great beach that is walking distance from the house and if you want to go to town it's just a little drive down the road. We highly recommend this place

Awesome stay. Bobby is terrific. She lent us cruisers to go to the beach. She lent us snorkel gear and boogie boards. The beach is amazing. Very secluded! We can't wait to come back.

If you are interested in staying away from the chaos of Waikiki and Honolulu, this is the place for you! Located on the beautiful North Shore, this rental is peaceful and perfectly situated to allow you to have an amazing time exploring the island. Very close to Ka'ena Point, where we saw wild whales migrating off the coast, and to the lovely surf town of Hale'iwa. There's a secluded beach in close walking distance, and we also used our rental car to explore some of the incredible beaches within a short drive, like Waimea Bay. The space itself was clean and well-equipped, with a very comfortable king size bed! Bobby was very easy to communicate with and we felt so well taken care of, right down to the arrival treats that were left for us (very appreciated after a long flight!). I'll echo what some others have mentioned here, which is to bring earplugs for nighttime sleeping, as there are junglefowl all over the island (wild chickens!) and the roosters do like to announce their presence at all hours - you'll hear this everywhere you go. I highly recommend this Airbnb rental! It was perfect for our trip and we couldn't be happier.

Bobby's place was exactly what we needed on our trip. The only drawback - some noisy roosters that made sleeping a little tricky. But otherwise, the perfect North Shore getaway. Bobby even left us beach cruisers we used to bike down to the beach! And tasty macadamia chocolate treats! Highly recommend this place.

The studio cottage is bright and located in a great area just a short drive from Haleiwa. Bobby's place comes with an outdoor shower and two bikes, which we took to the quiet public beach just five minutes from the house. Bobby also gave us directions to two hiking trails nearby. The location is ideal for anyone renting a car that wants to explore the North Shore.

My husband and I needed a place to stay for the weekend while we were attending a friends wedding at Sunset Ranch. I absolutely loved Bobby's cottage in Waialua! The cottage was so peaceful and relaxing. I was so happy with how private the space was. Just like the ad described, it has its own driveway and completely private space, the adjacent houses were even separated by a fence. The space was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with games, towels, snacks, and other supplies. I wish we didn't have to run around so much that weekend so that we could have enjoyed the cottage more. We didn't even get to cut open the fresh pineapple that Bobby left for us! Although I did enjoy the crackers and peanut butter :) This is the perfect weekend getaway for locals, or vacation spot for out of towners looking for a peaceful getaway. If you want to be be closer to the hustle and bustle, then I would look for a place closer to Haleiwa or Sunset. It is pretty quiet here (minus the roosters in the am), and other than the beach, it is not really walking distance to much. Which we loved actually :) Also, I really appreciated that Bobby was readily available to help with directions and check-in details, but more importantly that she gave us privacy and space once we checked in. If I ever need to come back up the North Shore for a relaxing weekend, I would certainly book again! Highly recommended!

Nice, simple self contained cottage. Close to a beautiful beach (5-10 min walk or 3 min bike ride) and a short drive to Haleiwa where the main shops/restaurants are. The cottage had a kitchenette which we didn't really use as we mostly ate at the many great food trucks in the area. But if you did want to make meals at home, all the basics are at hand to do so. Bobby left us some graperfruits, eggs and chocolates which was a nice welcome. There were also two bikes for the use of guest - great for nipping down to the beach with. If you want something simple and away from the main town, this place is ideal

We stayed at Bobby's Bungalow for three days and two nights, and it's the perfect getaway. The description absolutely does not do this place any justice. The bungalow is clean, open, and roomy, with a giant, comfortable California King size bed in the middle and a kitchen housing all the essentials (glasses, plates, silverware, coffee maker, ice trays, etc.). There is also a television and WiFi available, which we used to connect to Spotify for some music. But oh, the sounds, the sounds, the sounds! I actually chose this reservation because of the reviews which described the sounds of the North Shore. I love chickens and birds and grew up with their gentle AM serenades, therefore this place was perfect. The roosters sang to impress while other birds crooned and cackled, creating a beautiful medley of island sounds that makes this place unique. There is a giant yard and private gate on the outside of the bungalow, and an outdoor shower which was perfect for hosing off all the sand from the luscious beach. And the beach, what a beach it was! Upon arrival Bobby and her partner greeted us with a fresh pineapple and gave us directions to the ocean and encouraged us to use their cruiser bicycles. The beach is about a ten-minute walk or a three-minute bike ride -- either journey is pleasant, with the bike ride maybe being better because it gets you there faster. Picture all the noise and umbrellas and kayaks and floaties of Waikiki Beach, and all the surfers and gatherers of those at say, Banzai Pipeline, and then picture the exact opposite. The beach in this spot was quiet, with gentle, clean waves and at most I saw a maximum of about eight other people who were either snorkeling or just hanging out with dogs. At one point, after relaxing on the beach for so long, my partner and I took a nap and were awakened by a friendly pooch named Tucker, who was all smiles as we gave him pets and ear scratches (sorry if that was TMI, we are dog people after all). I could yam on and on about this place, but I think I've done all the yamming I could possible yam. I give this place ten stars out of five, and the hosts also ten stars out of five. Did I mention we really enjoyed our stay?

My Husband and I absolutely loved out stay in Bobby's Bungalow. The place was awesome and private and the location was fantastic! Some of the best beaches we found on the north shore were both only a short walk from her house and at both beaches we saw numerous turtles and had some great snorkelling experiences. Running and walking trails close by. The perfect place for a chilled out and relaxed holiday- LOVED IT!!

As our first time on Oahu Bobby's cottage made our trip unique and special. If you are looking for more of an adventure and want to truly experience the north shore I highly suggest staying here. It was perfect for two people, we were able to make breakfast, get ready for the day, spend our time exploring different beaches and then come home to a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The pictures don't do it justice as the place is much bigger in person and has a great outdoor area and shower. Bobby was great as a host, very accommodating and quick to respond. My boyfriend and I truly felt at home here and cannot wait to rent from Bobby again.

Bobby's home away from home was the best place to stay on Oahu. The moment we got there we sat down and enjoyed the island breeze that passed through the home. The king sized bed was comfortable and the house included some great amenities such as beach towels and toys, a nice sized tv and an outdoor shower to clean up from the beach which was a 5 minute walk away. It was also super helpful to have access to our own washer and drier during the trip. Bobbys cottage is located 5 minutes drive away from some of the best food on the island as well! We took the advice of previous guests to bring some ear plugs for the wild chickens and didn't have a single issue with being woken up. Bobbys place is the place to stay on Oahu and we can't wait to come back some day. Thanks again bobby!

Bobby was a terrific host! The Bungalow was perfect for the two of us! Had everything we needed including beach towels, boogie boards, snorkeling equipment and more! It was very nice having a washer and dryer too! Bobby even left us some fruit and Hawaiian drinks to enjoy! She offered us help if we ever had any questions and gave great suggestions on places to eat and pick up groceries! Would definitely recommend staying here to make your Oahu trip perfect!

A great place to stay away from the hustle of the crowded parts of the North Shore. Great communication, friendly hosts, good wifi and a nice clean cottage. Like other guests have said, pack ear plugs if you like to sleep in.. the resident rooster starts singing at 445am and doesn't stop!

Bobby's place is a hidden gem. The neighborhood is beautiful and it's just a short walk to a quiet beach. I loved all the gear that was available for our use- the beach chairs, coolers, beach bags, snorkel gear, etc. Also having a washer and drier was convenient.

Banyan bungalow was great in many respects. The location is not in town, but a short drive or bike ride to historic Haliewa. The bungalow had all the necessities for our 10 day stay. Laundry facilities were handy. The bed was so comfortable and the noise of the birds at 5am was like nature's alarm clock. Wifi worked flawlessly, which everyone seems to need these days. All in all the Banyan bungalow is a quiet, centrally located, well appointed base for exploring the North Shore, or all of Oahu for that matter

Bobby's place was great. I liked that I could walk to a beautiful neighborhood beach that was never crowded and that There were Sea Turtles swimming. I enjoyed taking a ride on the Beach Cruiser that is there for the guest. Fresh fruit was in the Fridge to start my stay. The Bungalow is very private with your own private driveway and very safe. Roosters run wild and are very noisy, earplugs do help but I have experienced this anywhere I have stayed in Hawaii on the countryside.

I enjoyed my stay at Bobby's. For people wanting to be away from all of the tourists and enjoy secluded beaches and some nice hiking trails, this is a great location. The location is off the beaten track and is much less touristy than areas that you might visit in Honolulu. I heard the sounds of birds that I don't think I've heard before (not to mention some boisterous roosters :- ) ). There is access to a couple of bikes on the premises and there is a rather long stretch of bike trail that runs along the road if you want to check out the town. I was able to find the access road to the beach while out on a bike as it is easy to drive by it and not see it. Bobby is very responsive to texts and gave good directions to the place.

This unit was very nice, it was very spacious, with a comfortable bed, nicely appointed kitchen (no stove). It is close to the beach and a very short drive to the heart of the North Shore in Haleiwa and the beautiful beaches beyond. The host provided beach towels and two bikes for cruising around. Also nice to have access to a washer and dryer. It was my first visit to the North Shore and this was a great introduction. The location is somewhat in the country and there are birds and chickens so you should bring your ear plugs, but I slept soundly (and the host provided ear plugs though I brought my own). And while it is well equipped with a number of fans and plenty of windows to catch the breeze, there is no air condition, and it does get warm inside by the afternoon if that bothers you.

This is a charming, private cottage that is clean and cozy in a nice residential area. Bobby is a great host and answered my questions and took care of anything that needed attention. It is in a good area for exploring the North Shore. I would stay there again on another visit to Oahu. Thank you, Bobby, for such a comfortable place!

Bobby and her place were amazing and totally exceeded my expectations in every way! It was an amazing stay, her house is a short walk to a beautiful uncrowded beach. Many amenities were provided during my stay including sunscreen, shampoo, conditioner, snacks, and even snorkeling gear. Bobby was very available to help me out and answer any questions. I would definitely recommend staying here. You cant beat having a beautiful guest house with a full fridge etc and a big comfy bed :)

The house is lovely, the beach nearby is amazing and so private. We walked less than 10 minutes to a very quiet beach and swam with turtles! We had a wonderful time in this beautiful countryside estates neighborhood.

Great place to stay if you want to explore and be away from the city atmosphere of Waikiki. So many great beaches nearby with great quick access to the north shore highway. At the end of the day it is an amazing and peaceful place to come back to and crash. Beautiful stars at night and a sassy rooster in the morning. Would highly recommend for couples looking to day trip around the island.

Just returned from a wonderful and relaxing vacation. The studio has everything you could need, including excellent wifi. The location is ideal for exploring Northshore. It is 5 minute bike ride to one of the best beaches in Ohau, which was an excellent place for snorkeling. You can hear the ocean from the property. We loved waking up to the birds singing every morning. If you like swimming, hiking and cycling, this is the place for you.

My wife and I found this to be a great place to stay for a couple days and a nice set up with plenty of amenities. Bobby was a helpful host and overall it was a good spot to just chill and relax. A few perks included a very comfortable king size bed, 2 bikes were available for us to ride to the beach a few minutes down the road, and proximity to Haleiwa town and Waimea falls. We would highly recommend this little bungalow to other couples looking for a few nights to stay on the north shore.

We were here for three weeks and found the cottage spacious, private and secluded. It was easy to communicate with Bobby, she and Mike are helpful but not intrusive. We would definitely use this accommodation again.

Bobby’s place is great! My daughter got my husband and I a weekend stay here and it was just beautiful. We live here in Hawaii and it was the perfect staycation. So peaceful, and was nice to get away from the craziness of downtown Waikiki. Would definitely stay again!

This is a great cottage for two people. I specifically chose this place because of the king size bed, for my very tall boyfriend. It was perfect for us. You are surrounded by beautiful sounds of nature. Close enough to town, yet quiet and secluded to disconnect. Thoughtful touches as leaving eggs, yogurt and bananas for us. Definitely recommend.

Bobby’s place was very nice. The king size bed and the Laundry was a plus for our family. For our family it defiantly would have been nice to have a couch to sit on. The birds I. The morning are very loud starting at 4 am. Overall we had a great stay.

This private cottage is delightful. Very nice, spacious and ideal for a couple. The place is very well decorated, a nice large bed and enough room to really make you feel at home. Very private setting, including private access and parking. The host was very accomodating and communication was nearly immediate. In fact, on our last morning I texted to let her know we'd be going for a quick snorkle at Wiamea Bay (15 min drive) and back by 9:30 to check out at 10. She was gracious enough to allow for a later checkout which turned out to be marvelous. You must have a car to stay here. No public transportation available and Uber would be potentially challenging. The beach at the end of the street (down the street, take a right for a short distance) was fantastic for a semi-private location with good swimming. The water is fairly shallow with ok snorkeling. Bikes had flat tires so we drove. Not a huge deal. The Roosters - I have to say that as charming as the chickens and chicks are that roam the North Shore (we have some at home), the roosters are quite challenging in the mornings, and for certain guests, this could be a deal breaker for this particular location. We did have one night that a couple in the neighborhood tested their vocal cords at 3:30 am for a few minutes. I'd be lying if I didn't say that I wanted to strangle a few of them, but we were up and going each morning anyway so this wasn't a deal breaker for us. We loved this location and would stay again.

This bungalow is quiet and accommodating. A nice residential area in the countryside. We enjoyed the location and walk to the beach. Very friendly people. There is pretty much everything you need here (beach towels, bikes, Wi-fi, TV, etc.) We loved it!

Nice place to stay, feels like you are in the country with the beach nearby. Very good host. The bikes need work and the kitchen items need a little help, but not bad. All in all a nice stay. Steve

If you are interested in a rural North Shore studio with all of the amenities of home, just a minutes walk away from gorgeous beaches, this is for you. It is a small bungalow with a private gated yard, exactly as described in the ad. Although Hawaii rentals are frequently part of an owner's main residence, and this one was attached her main property, there was ample privacy and quiet. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for that rural Mokuleia/ Waialua next-to-the-beach experience.

A wonderful "off the beaten path" place to stay but still close to town, restaurants, beaches, etc. Bicycles, beach chairs, snorkel equipment available to use and the house was stocked with other amenities too (yoga mat!). No AC but there was always a nice breeze and plenty of fans inside to keep the air moving. Very relaxing place and I would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at Bobby’s place. It was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed. We really appreciated that she supplied towels, washer and drier, BBQ, bikes, beach chairs, snorkel gear, etc. We loved the location. A nice quiet area, just 10 minutes from Haleiwa. We tried out some other beaches, but our favourite was the one just a couple blocks from the house. The house stayed pretty cool with the fans going. The bed was very comfortable. It has a very homey feel to it. We would definitely stay there again!

We needed a place on the north shore part of our honeymoon and this was the perfect location. Located on a nice and quiet street, it was fun driving around to the places we headed to- Dole plantation, surfing lessons and snorkelling spots near Haleiwa etc. The space itself is larger than we expected and is a studio style space. The kitchen was well equipped and we even bbq’d one night. Lots of fans to keep it cool with no problem. Great stay!

We arrived to an unkept yard, and were fighting off biting insects before getting to the door, this did. It change for the 5 days we were there. Everything in the house basically needs updating. Wifi was so slow we could not use it. Bikes were unusable due to tyres continually going flat. The place was ok, but would not plan to re visit. A little more effort from the owners would make a huge difference, hopefully these things will be addressed. I’d like to have more nice things to say, but it was disappointing.

Bobby is the hostess with the mostest. Greeted us when we arrived, left clean dish and grill towels for us. Fresh cut tropical flowers in the home, fruit bowl and left extra bicycles out for the whole family. Nearby beaches takes you to another place. Bobby gave us advice on where to go. Neighborhood is safe and friendly. Birds and roosters alarm in the morning was pretty awesome.

Bobby's place was exactly what I was looking for on the North Shore of Oahu. It's located about 15 minutes from most beaches and shoppings areas. It's close enough to the action of the North Shore, but just far enough to get some peace and quiet at night. Bobby includes a lot of water gear for plenty activities at the beach. The house is clean, comfortable and allows a lot of privacy from neighbors. Would definitely book again when I return!

Country Hawaiian setting, so expect country noises. No air conditioning, but many fans and open windows work great. I loved the location (away from HNL and Waikiki) and I loved the setting. You don’t spend your day in your room, so don’t worry about the a/c. I highly recommend, if you like a country setting.

This place looks exactly like the photos. It’s in a remote part of Oahu, so expect to be in the countryside - waking up early to chickens & birds chirping. No AC, so it can be hot and steamy even with windows and fans (depending on time you visit). Bobby was super flexible and communicative which was very appreciated. The bikes were great, we rode those to the beach and into the main town of Haleiwa (about 5 miles). They provide a lock so it allowed us to adventure and get some breakfast. We couldn’t find the snorkel gear people mentioned so we rented some. A few bugs, but it was likely due to the rain before our stay. I would still stay here again knowing what to expect this time.

Bobby's place was just the place we were looking for during our Hawaii vacation. It is located in a quiet, rural, and lovely neighborhood. It was pretty hot while we were there, but the fans helped us sleep comfortably for the most part. The house was clean and stocked with beach towels, as well as other amenities. The beach is just steps away from the house, and we rode our bikes there to enjoy an almost private beach. Bobby was fast at communicating and was willing to help with whatever we needed. I highly recommend Bobby's place for anyone wanting a quiet, Hawaiian country experience.

This past weekend my family and I had the awesome privilege of staying at Bobby's Place! To start off, we were greeted and welcomed with great hospitality. They offered so many amenities with their rental (bicycles (3 total), there were snack and beverages in the refrigerator, extra towels, and they had provided a twin mattress for my daughter (7 years old)). They were so very welcoming and accommodating from check in to check out. This location was perfect for a wedding we had out in Waialua over the weekend, it was no more than a 5 minute drive as opposed to an hour and a half long drive back home. I'm so very thankful for their hospitality and their generosity during our stay!!! If you're looking for a quaint, private, isolated home away from home, this place is definitely worth your stay!

Perfect host with everything provided with the bungalow ( bicycle, body board, barbecue...). The beach near the house is terrific, you can see sea turtles and not crowds. Very clean and lot of space inside the bungalow ( bed so comfy). Private parking entrance and quiet neighborhood. Communication with Bobby was easy and gave us tips and directions around the bungalow. We loved so much this place and recommend without hesitation the Banyan bungalow. The only regret was to leave this place... See you next year and MAHALO‍♀️

Best kept secret in north shore. If you want tourist stuff, crowds, noise and urban fanfare - then go to turtle bay. If you want to check out, relax & have birds as your alarm clock, then go here. At the end of the day it depends on what kind of north shore experience you want. The semi-isolation is exactly what we were looking for. We will absolutely be back. Bobby was a great host.

NICE QUIET PLACE FOR A STAYCATION ON THE NORTH SHORE. ALL AMENITIES WERE PROVIDED, AND IT WAS VERY SAFE AND SECURE. CLOSE TO ALL THE COOL BEACHES AND RESTAURANTS IN HALEIWA. SUNSET AT THE HALEIWA ALI BEACH PARK IS SUPERB...GREAT PLACE TO HANG OUT ALL DAY FOR JUMPING INTO AND OUT OF THE WATER.

The Banyan Bungalow was awesome, really cool space, the birds made us feel like we were sleeping in the jungle. Access to the private beach was great, we walked over for a magical sunrise. Bobby was quick with answers for all of our questions. Great stay!

The photos of this place don't even begin to do it justice. It's all open windows and pure bliss. There is a separate, gated driveway to the bungalow with a ton of outdoor space and lawn furniture you can hang out in. I wasn't expecting how big the studio really is. There are thoughtful decorations that make you believe someone has put a lot of time and thought into this place. The beach is beautiful and within about a 5 minute walk (10 if you stroll and take photos of all the flowers along the way.) My second day, I took one of the 3 bikes provided and rode the way to Hale'iwa. Just go out the driveway, turn left and take a right at the end of the street. Beach access is along the way and a bike path eventually opens up and it's a lovely drive with mountains on one side and beach on the other. I didn't get to meet the hosts since I got in rather late, but check in instructions were sent to me and really easy to follow. I loved everything about this place and should I find myself on Oahu again, I'll definitely be back to this bungalow.

We had a great visit to Waialua on the North Shore. Such a beautiful neighborhood with nature all around. It was a good break from town life and I would highly recommend this space for a getaway that’s quiet and relaxing. The beach and hiking within walking distance is such an added bonus in Hawaii.

A comfortable bed in a clean room with limited food preparation and eating conveniences in a pleasant neighborhood. We were exploring and not very pleased with what we found. We would not go there again. I have been to much nicer Airbnb facilities with similar rates.
