This wonderful house is designed to cater for families or groups with plenty of space and flexible bedding arrangements. There are three bedrooms including a master bedroom with a king bed, separate studio with a queen bed and a room with two single beds (with an additional two single trundle beds) that also can be converted into a king-sized bed. Just 300 metres to the beach, you'll find great cafes, bars and a small supermarket within a two-minute walk. The house has a front deck and back garden area. A new kitchen was recently installed with all mod cons including an induction cook top, Nespresso machine, dishwasher and microwave. The foodies will love the good quality cookware and lots of bowls and platters for salad and food preparation. There is also a semi industrial vegetable juicer, orange juicer, soda stream machine and blender.

Neighborhood Overview
North Bondi is laid back with great food and coffee. You can walk to low key wine bars or larger pubs or stay at home and enjoy a peaceful space. Favourite local haunts that are literally a two-minute walk away include the organic bakery (Organic Republic) on the corner, the local piadina cafe (La Piadina) and a great dumpling cafe and cocktail bar (Mamasan). Just a short stroll to the beach and buses to Bondi Junction where you'll find a giant Westfield shopping mall and connections to the city. Bondi Beach also has boutiques and other speciality shops like the famous Messina Gelato and Bills.
Notes
Please nominate the correct number of guests before you arrive. There are extra charges for extra guests and if you do not declare guests I will make a resolution request to Airbnb and review you accordingly. Please note we have friendly neighbours and a security camera at the front gate.
Transit
There is parking for one car and a second car can be parked with a street permit arranged in advance. It's a stroll to Bondi Beach or walk one minute around the corner to the bus stop where you will find buses to Bondi Junction and the city. All cafes, bars and supermarkets are in walking distance.
Access
The house has a front deck and back garden area. I can be flexible with checkin and checkout when possible. If I can't offer early checkin I can offer bag drop (from 10.45am) before checkin at 3pm. If you require a super early checkin I offer a discounted rate to block the previous day. It's also possible to checkin late in the day or night.

Jun 27, 2019Our stay at Bondi was lovely. Cat welcomed me, was friendly and helpful. The house was very comfy. Close to the beach, coffee shops & cafes. Unfortunately the mozzies were a bother in the only bedroom without nets but this was overcome with extra spray. And parking is a bother but that is how it is in Bondi. I can recommend and would stay there again.

Jun 27, 2019Cat's flat was ideal for our needs -- three generations visiting North Bondi together. Two bathrooms felt like luxury (as did the king size bed), and the flat was super convenient to great restaurants (Mamasan and Avila were both tasty in their own ways, and right around the corner) and the beach. Shopping and tasty gelato (our kids were staunch advocates for the Messina Gelato) were only a slight stone's throw further away on Hall St. Having coffee available in the morning was a particular treat (thank you again, Cat), and there were ample cookbooks to review if we had had the time to really use the kitchen. Communications with Cat were easy for checking in and out; we didn't need to trouble her during our visit because the replacement light bulbs were easy to find when one fixture burnt out. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Jun 27, 2019Cat was a great host. The house is lovely, very close to the beach, a great organic bakery and restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked with basic essentials and some cookbooks. Cat was very quick to help out when I couldn't find the water heater switch. Would definitely recommend this house for anybody who wants to stay at Bondi.

The house was great, it had everything we needed & Cat was very prompt with dropping over a hair dryer when we needed one! Such a relaxing space & so close to everything! Perfect for our girls trip. Would love to return in winter to make use of the great fireplace!

Jun 27, 2019From start to finish, our stay at Bondi Beach Dreaming was enjoyable. It was homely and comfortable and kitted out with just about everything you could possibly need. Will definitely book again here. It is a short walk to Bondi beach, and shops, bars and cafes. It felt safe, secure and private. The beds and linen were comfortable and high quality, and the overall feel, was like being at our "home away from home".

Jun 27, 2019Fabulous location and lovely living and dining area, big enough for our group of 8, however there wasn’t 8 adult beds. Probably should be advertised as 6 adults 2 children, the 2 trundle beds were smaller than a single bed an our 5 ft 2 inch companions feet hung off end. Very generous with late check out. Definitely would stay there again.

Cats house has everything you need including an open fire you can light, wood provided. I will definitely book again with a group or even take my family for a trip away. The house was a comfortable distance from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Bondi, and only a short walk away from the sea side. Cat's Neighbours were also really friendly and hospitable. Ready to offer us assistance whenever. The heating in the house was great during winter and the wifi was fantastic! The check in process was quick. The kitchen and pantry were really well stocked and the houses was prepped to perfection with small thoughtful things like an international plug adaptor that we had forgotten to bring. Jun 27, 2019Cat's house was in the best location. Just around the corner from great coffee shops and just a short walk to Bondi Beach. Bondi Beach itself is still only a 15 minute car ride to the city so it was terrific. The place was lovely and clean and beds very comfortable.

The house was clean, and the space worked really well - especially since we had 3 kids with us, who were able to spread out and play without getting under our feet! Cat was a very accomodating host, great communication and we felt really comfortable. The little extra touches like extra blankets and towels, and lovely soaps / shampoos in the bathrooms just topped it off! I would highly recommend staying at Cat's place.

Jun 27, 2019I organized a weekend away with 4 of my girlfriends and me at Cats place in Bondi the weekend just gone. I was so impressed with the funky beach house and amazing location! The house was fully equipped with everything we needed for the weekend including shampoo & conditioner, beach towels even milk in the fridge. I couldn't recommend this place more if you are looking for a relaxing weekend away with friends or other couples, it was situated within easy walking distance to the general store, awesome little bakery and beach road hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast at the local Harrys café yesterday morning also. Thanks so much Cat, I will definitely be back :)

Jun 27, 2019Coordinating the check-in time and receiving the keys was effortless and smooth which is always much appreciated. The apartment is a few minutes walk from the beaches and the shops. There is also a cafe at the end of the block which was even more convenient for morning coffee/breakfast. Would definitely recommend!
Jun 27, 2019We live near Portland, Oregon in the USA and it prides itself on being hip and weird. Bondi Beach must be its sister city times two. As a bunch of aged birdwatchers we didn't really fit in but felt comfortable and accepted anyway. Lots of shops and good restaurants within easy walking distance, and the beach is just as close. There's even a funky little nine hole golf course close by. It's perched on a cliff that overlooks the ocean and has million dollar views. The house worked well for five adults (one couple and three others) and was clean and well appointed. There are even cookbooks displayed in the kitchen in case you wanted to get adventurous. One of the bedrooms is in a guesthouse in the back yard and it was a nice place for the couple to sleep and be apart form the others. Be prepared for visiting bugs, though. Believe Cat when she says that you won't be able to park inside the gate without a high clearance vehicle but you will be able to park in the driveway if your car is on the small side. We had a minivan that was simply too big to allow for pedestrians pushing baby strollers to get by. Parking on the street is for two hours only and the nearest long-term free parking is s few blocks away. Remember to always leave space between you and the next car as locals seem to have no issue with pinning you in if you don't. Cat was great about communicating with us. She seemed available at all times, promptly answering any questions that we had. Eric Vancouver, WA USA
Jun 27, 2019This accommodation is in a lovely location, quiet close to the beach. There was some miscommunication at the beginning, but Cat was exceptional in communication and sorting matters out straight away. The accommodation was very rustic with all mod cons, but in need of some refurbishment with the kitchen, which is due to be done after our visit. The location is easy to get into Sydney central with good transport links. It's also close to the stadiums and Bondi Junction shopping centre. I would recommend this property for a relaxed stay. Jun 27, 2019We stayed at cats place, travelling from the uk , for our daughters wedding in Sydney . There were 6 members of extended family staying together. Cats place was very homely and cosy, there were lots of extras included, quality toiletries , sun cream and a very well stocked larder that we were encouraged to use. we were left to enjoy our time at the property , and any questions we had were answered promptly by Cat . Highly recommended

Great proximity to everything in Bondi - just next door to the weekend markets at the local school, 3 minute walk to the beach. The house is spectacular - classy and comfortable and in excellent taste. Cat is a genuine host and communicates extremely well. If this is the size and location you need, you'll not find better.

Jun 27, 2019Cute traditional Sydney house, in a super location- away from the crazy touristy parts of Bondi, but close to the beach and in the more charming part of this ever-vibrant part of Sydney. Equipped with everything you need, and close to plenty of good bus routes. A bit chilly in this very cold spell of winter, but there are a couple of portable heaters.

The corner shop cafe was very warm and welcoming and a really funky place to have a light meal or just a coffee. The house was very comfortable for a group of friends or family. What struck us was the open plan living and plenty of lovely places to sit outside or on the porch or back deck. Very nice.. would definetely stay again.
Jun 27, 2019Le logement est parfait pour 2 familles, nous étions 2 couples avec 4 enfants et l'espace était assez grand pour tout le monde et bien pensé (1 chambre en bungalow en extérieur avec douche/toilette). Le logement était propre (intérieur/extérieur), tout était prêt pour notre arrivée (hiver à Sydney) couettes sur les lits, bouillottes, radiateurs à disposition et la cheminée feu de bois ! génial ! (vraiment appréciable pour la saison). Le logement est vraiment joli, coquet. On s'y sent bien. C'est confortable (lit douillet) et bien aménagé. Les enfants ont appréciés l'espace extérieur, le bassin à poissons. La communication avec l'hôte a été bien organisé, aucun problème pour récupérer les clés. Le logement est extrèmement bien situé, c'est résidentiel, calme dans le sens ou se sont surtout des familles qui y vivent, c'est près mais aussi loin de l'agitation des bars et restos...branchés de Bondi. Endroit très près de la plage et de l'arrêt de bus (1 min à pieds), très pratique lorsque l'on est avec des enfants. Sympa d'être juste à côté du marché de Bondi du samedi dimanche. Juste le seul point qui peut être un inconvénient pour certains : l'isolation, ce n'est pas bien isolé pour l'hiver mais c'est partout pareil dans les maisons en Australie (cela doit être appréciable en été !), et pour le bruit de la route (camion poubelle) et des passants (le week end, la nuit) aussi, la buanderie des voisins est collée à la chambre/bungalow extérieur, mais cela ne nous a pas plus dérangé, c'était vivable. Nous recommandons vivement se logement aux familles, groupe d'amis qui souhaitent séjourner sur Sydney et plus particulièrement sur Bondi. Merci à l'hôte Cat, pour nous avoir permis de passer un agréable séjour dans une maison à Bondi.

Cat is a wonderful host and easy to deal with. Plenty to see and do, great access to public transport, and the shower is amazing! Would definitely stay there again. :-)

Jun 27, 2019This place provided the perfect accommodation for a getaway with my girlfriends! We all loved the location, the cosiness and the comforts of this place which sleeps 6 very comfortably. Cat was very easy to deal with and even gave us a late checkout which was what we needed for a lie in on our last day before returning to our daily grind! I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to have walking access to all that Bondi Beach has to offer!

Jun 27, 2019Cat's place is in a really good location, on a nice residential street but very close to the beach, shops, restaurants and public transport. The house is really homely and comfortable, and the cleanliness couldn't be faulted.
Jun 27, 2019Good location and nice house but not 5 star. Needed a good clean and there is no parking within the property. The adjoining property was being renovated, so we had to leave the house most mornings due to the excessive noise from a jackhammer. House had all the amenities most people would need and was very secure. Nice front and back outdoor areas.
Jun 27, 2019I would highly recommend booking this house for a group of people. All the amenities you could possibly need, seperate bungalow out the back and fantastic location. Cat was very happy to answer any questions you need and quickly aswell.

Jun 27, 2019Cat’s place is amazing. It have a lovely yard and lovely plants in there. It is very close to the beach, just 10 min work. And Cat has a set of wonderful cook, the house is perfect for people who like cooking.
Jun 27, 2019Just returned from a 2 night stay at this property and we could not fault it. House has plenty of space for 6 adults. Perfect location as it is close to everything. Communication with Cat was above and beyond amazing as she was always so efficient with replies and helpful with anything I needed. I Would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a great place, great location and great surroundings.

Jun 27, 2019Loved the eclectic style and additional room outside. Very open feeling and well stocked With everything you need, including beach towels. Turn right out of the driveway and the organic coffee a shop is at the next corner, which is great for coffee and breakfast.

Also very repponsive and felxible in terms of numbers of people that we were being charged for, even reducing the original price we paid because 1 person couldn't come. Also allowed flexible check in and out times which was very helpful.

Jun 27, 2019A lovely place to stay. It is a nice little home a short walk from Bondi beach and local shops. Be aware that one of the rooms is the old garage and detached from the main house.

Jun 27, 2019We loved staying at this house in Bondi; it was close to the beach, shops, transportation, and the Saturday Farmers Market. We have many good memories. We had many good BBQs on the patio. Such a great setting with potted plants all over. The house was definitely comfortable for six people.
Jun 27, 2019This house is a five minute walk to the beach - AMAZING location. Perfect for early morning walks to see the sunrise at Bondi Beach. The space is large and the main house shower was spectacular. The bedrooms and living space are large. The small touches were nice - there was coffee available which was huge, and the hair dryer available worked really well (long haired Airbnbers know how important this is)! Cat was an amazing host, and was extremely responsive. The outdoor spade was lovely and the fish are a great touch. As someone who isn’t used to seeing bugs often, the amount of bugs we saw was a bit alarming, but Cat took care of this right away!

Cat's place is a private oasis in the heart of beach-chic Bondi, only three quaint blocks to the sand (which my four-year-old insisted on completing barefoot like the locals). It's as hip as Brooklyn but with better weather than Los Angeles and a fraction of the people, Everything you could want is in the kitchen, and many thoughtful extras in the bathroom. We enjoyed reading on the front porch and dining al fresco in the garden. Cat was a responsive super helpful hostess with a nice vibe in keeping with the Bondi lifestyle. Hope to return soon.

Jun 27, 2019Wonderful spot, close but not on top of the cool Bondi scene. Instantly felt at home there. Kids enjoyed it tremendously. Only slight issue was the neighbours had a young screaming baby which was rather noisy. Cat was great!

Jun 27, 2019This was the first Air bnb booking I have done and I was a bit nervous. It was the best experience ever. Cat is an extremely gracious hostess. Very friendly, great communication and really thoughtful, unexpectedly offering us early check in and late check out because it was possible. The house has a lovely friendly feel to it, and is as amazing as the pictures look, they are accurate. Loved sitting in the beautiful courtyard, sipping champagne and enjoying the fish. So many small attentions to detail.... having champagne stoppers, insect repellant and a really helpful guide to the house and how to navigate the surrounding areas. Lovely toiletries and an amazing open fire - yes I had the fire going, not because it was really cold, but because I love an open fire and this was one of the reasons I chose the property. Cat was very accommodating with this and we had plenty of firewood. The fire burnt and drew well. Great location. The house is a very easy walk to Bondi Beach, even for unfit me, and an even shorter walk to groceries, bottle shop, cafe and restaurants. Parking is the only thing that is a bit awkward. The listing description is accurate in this regard. If you have a regular size car you will not be able to get into the driveway, which is such a shame. We were able to get longer stay parking in other streets, but this obviously wasn't as convenient. It was doable though. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and intend to stay there again.

Jun 27, 2019We had a great stay at Cats Bondi house. The house is very stylish and had everything we needed. We loved all the tea and Nespresso machine. The house is close to the beach about a 5 or so minute walk. Close to bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Added extras were a box of toys for the grandkids, nice products in bathroom and plenty of plates/cutlery/saucepans etc. cat was very welcoming and provided plenty of information to help us with our stay. Jun 27, 2019Cat's place is a little home away from home. It feels very cosy, the fire place is a great asset and while you're waiting for it to get going, you can warm up with the gas heater. As we were there in winter, the added heater in each room were a great help as was the hot water bottles :) The bath is so big and instant hot water aplenty!! All the local tips were a great help and we even managed to park our monster 4WD rented car in the driveway ;) A great holiday and we would be happy to return. Thank you Cat.

Jun 27, 2019You cannot beat this location in Bondi. Walking distance to the beach, cafes and restaurants. The house was big enough to accommodate two couples and two babies plus have some friends over for dinner without feeling cramped. We ended up having bad weather so we were inside a lot but that didn’t matter because the house was so spacious and had a fireplace! I would highly recommend this house.

Jun 27, 2019Cat's place was the perfect base for our girls' trip in Bondi. We took full advantage of the short walk to everything in Bondi, from the beach to shopping to restaurants. The house had plenty of space, and our group of 5 was extremely comfortable. The large, open areas were perfect for dinners and hanging out together, and the backyard had some beautiful fish! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a stay in Bondi!

Jun 27, 2019Cat was great! The place was welcoming and homey. We felt right at home. Definitely recommend. This was perfect for my family of four. We were able to cuddle up in the comfy couch after a day on the beach. We are especially grateful for our experience here because we had to cancel our previous place at the rocks. The host there was unaffected with our concerns. All of which were half heartedly addressed, if at all. The house at the rocks where we stayed had a terrible mold problem. My poor son was having asthma attacks. Luckily, Cat was able to accommodate last minute and she was sure to deal with any concerns we had right away. But we didn’t have any. Everything was great, you won’t be disappointed.
