Meticulously renovated in 2016 and decorated with great taste by a renowned Interior Designer and Architect.l All the furniture has been costume made with the time period in mind allowing for the perfect combination of new and old. Ornate stucco ceilings created by artisans and restored preserving their originality. The spacious apartment features a renovated bathroom with shower, enclosed balcony, closet and spacious dining/living room with plush carpeting. The bedroom is equipped with a safe box, the modern kitchen is equipped with all basic appliances: Fridge, oven, microwave, Toaster, Nespresso Machine, Tea Kettle, ceramic cooktop, cooking and serving utensils, fine crystal and cutlery for your self-catering. The apartment is located in one of the most trendy but quite and family oriented areas in Porto, near the Faculty of Belas Artes, The avenue is lined by beautiful small palaces and exotic gardens, designed by internationally renowned architects, where the elite and wealthy lived during the early 18th century. This studio offers recent customizations, beautiful new wood flooring, modern bathroom fixtures, and restored high ceilings displaying antique chandeliers. It is only a few minutes from the main tourist attractions. This spacious apartment (46 m2) features a very comfortable bed (Size: 150 cm width x 190 cm length) and a memory foam mattress Sofa bed suitable for 1: Size 158 cm width x 160 cm length)

The neighborhood is very typical with plenty of history between the University of Fine Arts (Faculdade de belas artes), S. Lazaro Garden (Jardim de São Lázaro) the oldest in the city, the Municipal Library (Biblioteca Municipal). Parking space is easy just front door (paid) or we can provide underground park for 7.5€ per day. Various transport links nearby. The closest are: São Bento Train Station (0.9 km) Sao Bento Metro Station (1 km) , Heroismo Metro Station (0.5 km), Bolhão Metro Station (0.8 km), 18 minutes drive to the Airport, Campo 24 de Agosto Metro Station is 400 meters away. Very warm welcome from Hector. Took the time to tell us about things to do and about the city. The appartment has recently been beautifully renovated, absolutely stunning! We even pondered staying there an additionnal day just for the wonderful appartment. High end towels and ameneties. Close to a metro station, quiet neighborhood, simply perfect. Hector even took the time to order us a taxi for our early departure. Would ABSOLUTELY RETURN OR RECOMMEND!!

Jun 27, 2019I would highly recommend this flat for a long or short stay in Porto. It is well located and it is really tastefully decorated! Hugo was also really helpful and gave us loads of info on the city.

Jun 27, 2019El apartamento es muy bonito en un edificio antiguo manteniendo su esencia, pero perfectamente reformado y muy acogedor. Tiene muchos detalles (amenities de baño, cafetera y cápsulas nescafe, barra de sonido para poner tu música con el móvil y Netflix) y está en muy buena zona. Aunque en el anuncio ponga que tiene aparcamiento, no es así, pero por la zona se aparca muy bien, eso sí, de lunes a viernes es zona de pago.
Jun 27, 2019Beautifully designed flat in a quiet residential area but so easy to walk to the main attractions. Paid parking is easy to find just right outside the building and free on the weekend which is a plus. I didn't get to meet Maribel but she was extremely responsive with her communication. On the day of check in, Boris was so kind and he ensured we were able to find the flat and even waited outside the building for us (as the Airbnb direction was incorrect- please be sure to use the address provided by your host). Boris provided suggestions on where to go and places to eat. While there is no washer in the unit, overall a wonderful stay in magical Porto. Btw, there is a really delicious sandwich shop around the neighborhood that serves up cheap but yummy pork sandwiches right by the park. You won't miss it as there's always a long line.

Jun 27, 2019Great place with lots of room - felt so luxurious. Wonderful bed, plenty of hangers & closet space & outstanding bathroom really added to comfort. Great value & host very responsive. I recommend Casa de Tortas a few blocks away as a really great breakfast spot, with yummy food & wifi.
Jun 27, 2019The host was very nice and helpful. The apartment was nice and clean. But I think it's to expensive for what it offers. The size is not as big as it looks on the pics and the real location of the apartment is about 4 blocks more far away form the city center. The apartment doesn't have a laundry (I could see it on the pictures of the listing). You have to use and external laundry which costs 7.- Euro each time. Long story short: It's nice but too expensive for what it really offers.

É muito confortável e tem todos os itens necessários e até o que não pensei, 2 guarda chuvas para o caso de frio. Maribel foi muito atenciosa durante a nossa estadia. O local é bem silencioso para uma boa noite de sono. Tem transporte público e todas as comodidades necessárias. Super Recomendo.

Jun 27, 2019El alojamiento tiene muy buen nivel. Muy bien equipado, con detalles y con gusto. La acogida es muy cálida. La disponibilidad de los anfitriones es máxima, se esfuerzan en ayudarte, lo pudimos comprobar. La zona es tranquila pero es que además dentro de la casa no se oye nada del exterior. Muy recomendable.

Unfortunately there is lots of construction going on in the block next door meaning we had to move properties half way into our stay on Monday morning. However the hosts were exceptionally accommodating at letting us move with a full refund. Despite this, would definitely stay again!!

OG, sehr zentral, alles was man braucht ist fußläufig, zum Hinterhof gelegen, ruhig, Rohbaustelle direkt nebenan (leider etwas Lärm morgens, ist aber nur temporär) Wohnung: genau wie beschrieben, üppige Ausstattung, für nicht mehr als zwei Leute zu empfehlen, gemütliches Bett, geräumig, sehr gute Klimaanlage Bad: sehr sauber, klein aber fein, Regendusche, sehr warmes Duschen möglich Check-in: unkompliziert, Abholservice vom Flughafen, zuvorkommender Gastgeber Ein echter Superhost! Jun 27, 2019The apartment is beautiful and comfortable, location is nice. The owner of the apartment is a amazing, caring and pleasant. There are everything you might need during your staying. We were pleasantly surprised by the fact that there are even such trifles as umbrella, first aid set, all stuff that is needed for cooking, coffee and milk for the coffee machine. Highly recommend!

Jun 27, 2019The apartment is very clean, comfortable and Maribel thinks on every detail. It’s very near the subway and there is buses a short walk. We can buy food near and there is a place you could eat too. I surely recommend.
