Sin embargo Flo, al vernos llegar con niños, fue muy amable con nosotros y nos ofreció un lugar más cómodo y grande. Nos dio sugerencias sobre la ciudad y parques para llevar a los niños, ¡que fueron muy buenas! El departamento está EXCELENTEMENTE UBICADO. El baño estaba en perfectas condiciones de limpieza y mantenimiento. Considero que la habitación podría estar mucho más limpia y mejor mantenida (como sí parece en las imágenes).
Jun 27, 2019Nous avons dormi 2 nuits non consécutives et avons eu 2chambres différentes, elles sont très chouettes, la literie est confortable, l'appartement est très plaisant. Notre petit de 22 mois a très très apprécié, pas facile de monter les escaliers avec lui, la poussette et2 valises mais c'est juste 10 min de sport ;-). Flo est très accueillant, très sympa et son ami également. Le quartier est très très vivant mais l'appartement est plutôt calme finalement. La pizza est une tuerie !

Jun 27, 2019The location was great and Flo communicated with us directly until the hour of our arrival, and we let him know the exact time we would be arriving , and we communicated along the way when our flight was delayed. But once we arrived in Barcelona, he stopped communicating and we waited for him for over 45 minutes on the street with our luggage. He stopped answering repeated messages and was not nearly as apologetic as he should have been after making us wait outside for almost an hour.
Jun 27, 2019Flo was a very nice and inviting guy. We didn't get to spend much time with him, but he made sure we found the apartment and got situated in our room. The apartment is communal, and quite bohemian. Photographs of gurus and flower child murals decorate the walls. The street seemed to be plucked right out of Amsterdam. Odors abound. The beds are a bit like military cots, and in the summer when we visited, we were hugging our small electric fan whenever we were in the room. If you're adventurous and planning to trek for most of your trip, this probably won't be an issue for you. The hike up a winding staircase to the room might be an issue for some visitors--we were traveling with our three-year-old and our return to our room after long days under the summer sun made us dream of an elevator. By the map, the apartment looked like a quick jaunt to the beach, but in reality it was more like a 20 minute walk. I was quite surprised by how expansive Barcelona is. There is plenty of life on the avenues below--a playground for children is located in the middle of a small plaza that offers a number of vegetarian restaurants and bars. Access to La Rambla might be the biggest benefit of this location. It's about a one minute walk to the crowded thoroughfare, and that means you have immediate access to Barcelona's metro, as well as the airport shuttles. Another minor perk worth mentioning: the communal kitchen was stocked with cereals, which I imagine would provide a quick meal to the ultra-budgeted backpacker. It helped us out when wrangling with our picky son, still hungry after a halfhearted pass at tapas and paella. So anyway, Flo's place I think would be best suited to adventurous backpackers and young students, but the price certainly makes it worth considering for small families on a shoestring budget. If you can live without some creature comforts, you'll be happy have this as a crash and launch pad, sweating out the night to the lively ambience of bustling Barcelona below. Molt autèntic!

Great value for having a central place to sleep (and sleep only). Good communication with the host and everything went smooth.
Jun 27, 2019Overall the stay was decent minus a few things. The place is a small room located in an apartment complex on the second floor (note: 3 flights of stairs to climb). It has a great, central location, but it feels smaller than what the pictures present and can get pretty cramped with luggages on the floor. The place is mostly clean. With only one desk fan, it can get pretty hot in the summer (mid-July). One of the beds had a overly soft, spongy mattress that was kind of difficult to sleep in, but we managed okay. This is a very minimal room (especially for three people), good for travellers trying to save money without a cheaper option. The Wi-Fi didn't work very well (and often not-at-all).

Had a little miscommunication about how to get into the building, but we didn't have an international calling plan, so our fault. Room was cozy but cute and clean. LOVE the location!!! Close to main square, hop on hop off bus, las rambles, bus to cruise lines. Only downfall...if you cannot walk up 68 steps with your luggage, then this is not the place for you.

And if you need it only to stay there at night, that's a good place at a reasonable price. Also it is rather hot there, but show me a room in Barcelona that wouldn't be hot in the summer :) (and it has a fan by the way)
Jun 27, 2019We didn't meet Flo in person as our flight was unfortunately delayed and so we arrived late at night. Nevertheless Flo organised to hand out the keys by his mother who is a really nice person. We enjoyed our stay in the quiet and charming flat in the middle of the Barri Gòtic.

Jun 27, 2019Vi havde en fantastisk weekend i Barcelona. Værelset ligger meget centralt. Der var håndklæder og sengetøj, pænt og nydeligt. Bad og wc på gangen, pænt og rent. Flo bød os velkommen, viste rundt mm. Flo spurgte hvad vi ville se i byen, kom med forslag til andre ting, til gode billige spisesteder/bar. Der var gode enkel senge på værelset. Perfekt måde at bo på, når man kommer for at se byen, og bare skal have er sted og sove.

Jun 27, 2019Good location, really close to Las Ramblas and lots of restaurants and easy to get to other attractions from there. Cleaning lady was lovely, and very friendly and helpful whenever I ran into her at the apartment. As others have mentioned, the photos are very deceptive. In reality, the room is like half the size of what the photos implies. And not nearly as light either. The room is poorly ventilated, so quickly becomes musky, when the door and window are shut. The room has a small fan to try and mitigate this, but if the fan is off for any length of time, room quickly becomes musky. Wifi doesn't really work in the room either; have to go into kitchen to get the signal. Quite a noisy apartment too. Host's children were around, and making noise often. I.e. One night, two of them were running skateboards and scooters down the tiled corridor at 10 o'clock at night. You could hear the thunderous noise through the whole apartment (and I imagine on the floor below too). So, not ideal if you want to get an early night's sleep and hit the tourist sites very early. I think this room would be best suited to those looking to party it up in Barcelona, and spend very little time at the accommodation.

Difficulté à contacter l'hôte, lors de notre arrivée. Accueil courtois mais rapide. Sinon, Flo était plutôt sympathique. Rien à critiquer sur l'emplacement de l'appartement, c'était juste parfait! À 1 minute de La Ramblas et en plein coeur de tous les principaux attraits.
Jun 27, 2019The host was very nice and checked in to make sure we settled in well. He also provided a map and showed us the best places. A big warning though, if you're looking for a quiet place to go home to after site seeing, this is not the place. Nothing against the host, it was just the area that's right in the center of everything so it's so loud. The apartment downstairs had a huge party and the whole place was shaking until almost 1 in the morning. There is a window in the room right in the courtyard so everyone talking in other apartments echoes. If noise is not a concern, then this is a great place. It's right in the heart of a crazy shopping area and a 15 minute walk to the beach. Warning wifi and cell service is patchy, the kitchen is really the only place it works in.
Jun 27, 2019The location is just AWESOME ! If you are traveling with friends and want to be in the center of everything then it's the place to stay. However, we didn't have internet in the room, only in the kitchen, the toilet was smelly and the room is much smaller than looks. Two of us didn't have blankets but empty bed sheets and it was cold at night. The people sharing the flat were very noisy and someone was doing some reconstruction in the room at night. One of the beds has a very soft foam mattress which can be a big deal if you have back problems like me. Overall it's a cheap central place, good for low budget - youngsters' travel. Would not advise to take the room if you are with your family.

Jun 27, 2019This place is good, it is exactly what you pay for. It has shared bathroom and toilet facilities but they are clean. The whole place has quite a bohemian feel to it. Probably the smallest place I have ever slept in but was perfect for what my friends and I were there for, a place to sleep and wash while in Barcelona for the weekend. Would recommend to anyone on a budget.

L'annuncio descriveva bagno privato e invece ci siamo ritrovate con un bagno molto piccolo ed indico per altre 3 camere !! Il risultato è stato lunghe attese per la doccia ed acqua congelata ! Per concludere in bellezza Wi-Fi non funzionante nelle camere
Jun 27, 2019The location is in the lively part of Barcelona. There are many shops and restaurants to venture to. The public transit is a 5 minute walk away making it easy to access all over the city. The apartment is a great fit for me and friend. We slept comfortably in our rooms. The room can be noisy as the window faces the courtyard and can hear the neighbors daily activities but can easily be tuned out. Access to use the kitchen which is well equipped. Overall, it was a great stay in a perfect location. Would greatly recommend!

The flat is clean and cozy with everything we needed, although it is being shared. The communication was clear, when we arrived our host wasn't home, but the maid gave us very informative guidance on the apartment which is cool. Will come again if we return Barcelona.

Jun 27, 2019Chouette appart chez Flo et super bien placé! Notre chambre donnait sur une cour intérieur et les bruits de la rue n'arrivaient pas jusqu'à nous. Du coup si vos voisins de chambré sont respectueux du confort de chacun vous passez des nuits super tranquilles en étant en plein quartier vivant. Notre chambre correspondait bien au descriptif et l'accueil a pu se faire tard même si notre avion est arrivé avec une heure de retard. La cuisine n'est pas très grande, il faut bien s'organiser pour s'en servir chacun son tour.
Jun 27, 2019Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night. However, the apartment is centrally located, check in/out was quick and easy and the room was clean and had everything we needed. There are a few stairs to get to the apartment and no elevator so consider packing light! Overall, a great place to stay!

However, you do get what you pay for - one of the beds in the triple room was significantly less comfortable than the other two, and we may have even had a few bedbug bites (still unsure if they were bedbugs or another insect, but we woke up with bites). However, it's a great value for where it is located, and Flo was great at communicating and accommodating for our late flight arrival.

The place has a little kitchen and a shared bathroom/shower, which was no problem at all. The other guests were respectful and amarilini, who checked us in, was also lovely. Recomendable 100%!

Shared kitchen with facilities and the option to store/make food. Only negative - Fairly noisy from the bedroom but that can't be helped due to the central location. And 3rd bed wasn't the most comfortable so maybe best for 2 people, but for a short stay it's fine

Jun 27, 2019Good Location. Ended up Being a nightmare. Went to Bed at 11 pm and Woke up at 2 am with my Body covered in Bug Bites. Turned the light on and found my bed infested with Bedbugs! Non of the 3 of us was able to go back to sleep or back into the room. My worst nightmare came true.

Jun 27, 2019The location was great for what we wanted to do with our weekend, and the space was overall well-maintained. The housekeeper, Kathy, was very nice during check-in. However, I was disappointed in the level of communication with the host during the actual stay, and as international students we were relying on wifi, which didn't work at all. I understand that technology sometimes does not work, but the host were barely reachable and did not seem to take our concern seriously. We never actually met our host.

Jun 27, 2019Super close walking distance to just about everything. Apartment is in a really central location. There is a lot to do and see all around you. The Old Town is two floors lower. Exit the door and stay in the Old Town - Bars, Restaurants, Stores. Metro stops are 5 minutes away, the beach is a 15-minute walk away. Sleeping is perfect because the room is very quiet. The two beds were perfectly comfortable mattresses, but one was a little sleepy. But that did not disturb me. The shower is perfect. Clean, neat. The kitchen is well-equipped, everything you need to cook for dinner or breakfast. I suggest, especially if you came to Barcelona to enjoy the city, would be in the very center. Thank you very much, I would definitely again choose to stay here when I'm at Barcelona.

Baptiste’s greeting was very friendly and fun, Flo gave us some valuable tips & tricks for drinks and meals and Kathy the most lovely lady you can ever meet! Totally recommended, especially for young in heart people, unpretentious and unconventional! I would gladly return! :)

Jun 27, 2019So Barcelona is an expensive city, so when you see a good deal you should know there are strings attached. This place was no exception. At one point there were 7 people sharing one bathroom and one bath, which was a little much. And the main light in our room went out halfway through our stay, leaving us to huddle around a small reading light the rest of the time. Check-in was a little hard to figure out as well, with lots of communication back and forth. The owner, Flo, apparently did not live there. When our light went out we went and knocked on her door, and also when the house ran out of TP, but she never answered. However, if money is a main concern this place fits the bill very well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Barcelona.

Contudo, não fica claro na descrição do site e nas fotos que trata-se de um hostel com banheiro compartilhado, e não um apartamento. Fora esse "pequeno" detalhe, tudo foi muito bem :)

Jun 27, 2019Die Fotos sind absolut irreal. So sieht die Wohnung nicht aus. Viel kleiner, als auf den Bildern. Die Ausstattung ist für den Arsch, darauf gehe ich auch noch genauer ein. Der Küchenschrank, war eine Glasvitrine mit paar Gläsern, Tellern und Besteck. Das ist aber gar nicht sooo schlimm, nerviger fand ich es, dass die Ausrüstung zum Kochen miserabel war. Mehr als Nudeln kochen war nicht drinnen... mussten also fast immer draussen essen, das Geld was durch das billige Appartement gespart wurde, ist für das Essen zwischen durch draufgegangen... Waschen kann man seine Kleidung gleich um die Ecke des Appartements. Unser Zimmer hat sehr muffig gestunken, wir hatten zwar einen Ventilator, der allerdings kaum etwas gebracht hat. Es war regelmäßig eine Haushälterin da, die ihren Job auch vernünftig gemacht hat, allerdings war sie nur für Oberflächen zuständig. Das Appartement ist von Grund auf dreckig. In seinem eigenen Zimmer kann man nicht ohne Schuhe oder Hausschuhen herumlaufen, ohne die Füße dreckig zu machen, dasselbe gilt gilt für das Bad. Der Kühlschrank war absolut versifft, wer dort sein Essen gelagert hat, konnte damit rechnen, dass dir Kühlschrankflüssigkeit und Fruchtfliegen darauf zu finden waren. Erst nach dem ich den Host darauf angesprochen habe, (Tag 3) unseres Aufenthalts wollte er sich darum kümmern, Tag 11 von insgesamt 13 Tagen hatte der Host einen neuen Kühlschrank besorgt. Der Haushälterin zur Folge, sei der Kühlschrank schon sehr lange in diesem Zustand gewesen. Der Host war zwar immer zu Hause, da er ein Zimmer in dem Appartement hatte, welches er vermietet hatte. Allerdings kümmert er sich viel zu schwach um die Ausstattung seines Appartements und geht auf die Wünsche der Gäste nur mit Verzögerung ein. Als Beispiel dafür: wir hatten ein Zimmer für drei Personen, welches auch wirklich nur als Schlafraum dienen sollte, dass ansonsten keinen Raum da war, wäre nicht schlimm gewesen, da wir einen Schrank für unsere Kleidung im Flur bekommen, den dann allerdings andere Gäste bekommen haben, mit der Begründung ihr Zimmer sei kleiner als unseres. Der Unterschied war, das es ein 2-Bett-Zimmer war... Nach 5 Tagen hatten wir einen anderen Schrank bekommen. Dieser war einer für die man Kleiderbügel brauchte, die natürlich gefehlt haben... unverschämt ist daran, dass für gewöhnlich dir Gäste nicht länger als 3-4 Tage ein Zimmer mieten, der Host also mit Absicht keine neuen Möbel geholt hat. Das selbe gilt für den Kühlschrank. Der Ort hat Vor- und Nachteile. Es liegt mitten im Zentrum der la rambla. Absolut toll, auch der Strand ist nicht so weit weg, mit dem Bus ist man in 10 min da zu Fuß 45min. fand ich persönlich sehr angenehm, da man bei gutem Wetter viel spaziert ist. Abends ist es allerdings nicht so schön in dem gesamten Viertel Barrio Gotico, wo sich das Appartment befindet, wird man alle 10m von einem Dealer oder einer Prostituierten angesprochen, was auf Dauer echt nervt. Nachts verwandelt sich das Gebiet also zu einem Ghetto...dafür kann der Host jedoch nichts. Leider sind wir nicht wirklich fündig geworden, was gute Restaurants angeht...falls...

Jun 27, 2019Great location, right in the heart of Barcelona. Feels safe. Flo and Ciro were good hosts. Only slight complaint would be a lack of air-conditioning/more fans in our room. In the middle of summer it was very hot and on occasion difficult to sleep. Otherwise a great trip.

Jun 27, 2019Le concept est sympathique même s’il faut partager les sanitaires, ces derniers sont propres. L’emplacement est idéal ! Merci à l’hôte pour son accueil et sa disponibilité. Nous reviendrons sans problème dans ce logement quand il fera moins chaud et à une période sans canicule.

Jun 27, 2019Amazing location, lovely hosts, had all the amenities we needed. Room was smaller than in pictures, probably better for 2 people rather than 3. There was no air conditioning, just a fan so was quite warm at times.

Jun 27, 2019Nous avons passé un super week end dans cet appartement idéalement situé ! Proche du métro , du port , des restaurants , bars , super marchés et vie nocturne :) !! Nous avons tout fait à pied. Très bonne communication avec l’hôte même si notre mauvais anglais ne nous a pas permis de bien se comprendre... nous en sommes désolé. Chambre parfaite !

Jun 27, 2019Our stay was much appreciated. It was the perfect place to land after our long night flight. We never understood how it could be SO quiet in the middle of the city. The welcoming part was perfect : all was planned, the necessary was said (baños, ducha, wifi!!, beds, refrigerator) . Flo Ciro et Kyros were excellent at guiding us. Thank you particularly Ciro for the awesome adress of restaurant Iposa. Best night in Barcelona. Thanks thanks thanks! In fact it was perfect.
Jun 27, 2019The location is perfect for who want to stay in the heart of Barcelona! 3 min walk to Rambla, very close to the metro station, restaurants, shops And the market la boqueria! The room was like appears at the pictures, the space was clean everyday and the space was very cosy. Flo, Ciro And Amarilli were very attentious and kind, replying always. It was a very good experience And i recommend the place!

Cleanliness was ok, of course since it is a bit old it can not seem completely gleaming clean. Also, as others said before, the bedroom is a bit smaller than it seems on the pictures. Overall a good value, I recommend it and I would come back!
Jun 27, 2019Very nice warm and stylish design flat. Very close to Las Ramblas and the city centre. You will have to share the bathroom and toilets with the others and it can be sometimes long. The personal is very welcoming and I recommend this place.

Jun 27, 2019Place is really well located, everything is at walking distance, and one of the cleanest airbnbs I have ever been. There is a little bit of bad small in the entrance of the building, but I suppose that is due to the building structure and there is not much the owners can do about it. Overall, everything was great.

Jun 27, 2019Emplacement en plein centre ville est très pratique. L’appartement est typique et chaleureux. Un point négatif mais duquel il ne faut pas s’étonner pour un appartement dans un vieil immeuble en plein centre: le bruit. Néanmoins je recommande cet endroit pour des sejours courts.
