The room was lovely! Large comfortable bed, separate bathroom, and an array of complimentary toiletries and water. Joanna was a wonderful, and we would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a nice and convenient area to stay in HK.

Jun 27, 2019This place is great for Single or Couple looking to live like a local in HK, which is what I get out of this trip. I value my privacy, Joanna and the family respected that, and gave me plenty during this stay. Great Host. The place is off to the Main Street so make sure you call Joanna before arriving as you might not be able to find it immediately. Very close to all Public transport and very convenient. It is as advertised - Nice cozy room with 3 mins walk to transports.

Jun 27, 2019Joanna was a great host! She always had a place in mind to recommend and she was always willing to help translate for when Cantonese was the only language around lol. She was always very fluid with keeping in contact with her guests too! The place itself is just like the ad says. Definitely rent this place if you get the chance!

My friend and I love it so much. it is even better than hotel. it is really exceed my expectation. it is like what advertisement. Highly recommended to whoever visit hk.
Jun 27, 2019Joanna was an excellent host! Her apartment was very comfortable and clean with everything we needed to stay comfortable (towels, shampoo, conditioner, comfortable bed, air conditioning). It is also a couple minute walk from the Northpoint MTR station which was very convenient for travel.

Jun 27, 2019Joanna's readily available over the tel...she provided personal escort all the way to her home from the airport bus stop, even helped me with my heaviest carry on bag...I arrvd so late that her mom's already in bed and I didn't get to meet her til the next evening ..She's such a nurturing mom that she's extremely helpful in making me feel at home, showing me how to use kitchen gadget unfamiliar to me, did my laundry twice, generously showered me with gifts like Santa Claus revisiting HK in Spring...

Jun 27, 2019Joanna is very attenttive and responsive to all my questions. She gave perfect advice on how to get to her place and came pick me up. Her family was very welcoming and you will not die of hunger with her mother around who makes you taste her favorite snack foods. Recommended!
Jun 27, 2019Joanna's place is quite cozy, and I spent nearly 2 weeks with the families. They are very nice person and gave me a lot of good recommendations. Joanna's mom even helped me doing laundry. Anyway, you won't regret to enjoy your staying in Hong Kong in such a lovely place.

Jun 27, 2019Joanna's apartment in Hong Kong is an excellent place to call home on a trip to her fair city. She is a consummate host and I had everything I needed for a very pleasant stay. Her apartment is very well located near the train and the bus from the airport drops you off just across the street with no transfers or changes. Her place is clean and comfortable and I just can't say enough about how gracious, generous and kind she and her cousin Purdy were the entire length of my 4 day stay!

Jun 27, 2019I had a wonderful two-night stay at Joanna's place. Lots of Airbnb listings say 'cozy' when they just mean 'small' - but this really was cozy! The private room has an ensuite toilet and was well stocked with everything I needed to be comfortable. The location really is very close to the MTR (and trams!) and from there it's easy to reach lots of points of interest and the airport. Finally, Joanna and her mum are warm and generous hosts, very much worthy of 'superhost' status.
Jun 27, 2019The Room is big and clean and has an own bathroom. The Bed is comfortable, there is a big wardrobe and really everything what you need. The Flat is well prepared and located near a bus and the MTR-Station, in a great area of HK Island. Joanna is really friendly and easy going. During my time I felt really relaxed.
Jun 27, 2019Joanna was great! Her place was very well kept and welcoming! She even invited us to have lunch with her and gave us advice on what to see/do in Hong Kong! She was also really accommodating and allowed us to book our airbnb the night before. Would highly recommend!!!
Jun 27, 2019I really enjoyed my stay with Joanna and the family. Great people, super friendly and helpful and made me feel really welcome. The bed was comfy, house was clean and the area has some great places to eat and drink nearby as well as being really easy to travel to and from. I requested the room late in the afternoon of the (first) night I wanted to stay and Joanna accepted immediately and nothing seemed to difficult for her. Highly recommend!
Jun 27, 2019房子离地铁口大概5分钟步程,根据房东的地图指引很容易就找到楼下,由于我的手机没有开通漫游导致和房东联系不畅,让房东等了我们很久,实在抱歉了｡房子周围有很多茶餐厅,味道都不错,可以解决早餐和晚上的宵夜｡

The listing was as described and was very convenient for traveling on the MTR. Candy was kind to give me suggestions of places to go as well as made me some food! Overall, I had a great stay!
Jun 27, 2019首先,房东和我们加了 (Hidden by Airbnb) ,联系很积极顺畅,房源位置准确;其次,到港后不停指导我们乘车路线,并到公交站迎接我们;还有,房间准备就绪,干净整齐,床上不但摆放毛巾浴巾等,还有一篮子护肤､护理小包装｡房子在小区里一栋公寓楼上,有物业管理,要密码出入,非常安全｡周边是生活区,环境很好,交通非常便利,地铁口约三四百米､公交站一百米､电车二百米,大楼临街但房子朝院内,算是很安静｡周边就餐方便,地道港食,有一家海鲜酒楼不错,海鲜和内地比价格不贵｡
Jun 27, 2019We had a great five night stay at Joanna's apartment. We grabbed food with Joanna the first day which we enjoyed. Some things to note: Comfy bed. Fast wifi. Access to kitchen facilities. Free bottles of water. Cute kitties. Five min walk to subway. Washing machine which we used. Late check out (thank you for this).

Jun 27, 2019We enjoyed our stay with Joanna. The place is small for 3 ppl(only 1 room, so 3rd person need to sleep on an added bed), but Joanna was very accommodating and we had no problems. Room was tidy, clean, and she and her mom prepared snacks for us, which was a nice touch. She gave us local recommendations as well, which helped us navigate quite a bit. You really feel like you're living in Hong Kong, as the apt had a cozy local feel to it, rather than an informal hotel room. Overall would recommend!

Jun 27, 2019Joanna and her mother were very helpful and accommodating to us. Joanna was working when we checked in so her mother welcomed us instead. She is such a funny and lively person! Never fail to help us on transportation guide around the area and shopping tips as well. The house is spacious and the room is sufficient for two persons. The room comes with a private toilet without shower. so we took our shower at the shared bathroom outside the room. You can tell that they are very thoughtful host by looking at how equipped is the room. They provide mineral water, boiler, instant coffee tea, snacks, facial masks, sunscreens, lotion, umbrella, various sizes of towels etc in the room. The location was perfect as it's within walking distance to Harbour Plaza (less than 10 mins) where I attended a conference. Quarry bay station and bus stops to Causeway bay etc are very near too. The bus stop for A12 bus to airport is just located opposite the building. Overall, We had a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Jul 27, 2019Joanna & her mom Candy are great hosts. They have a maid to clean up the house twice a week, the maid made our room very clean. We found the place is homey. Candy is very thoughtful, took care of our needs. She suggested us how to go to her place from the airport, and even offered to wait for us at the bus stop. She worried we got lost, and text us the bus route, detailed with pictures. The night when we left for the airport, on the top of getting us unique souvenirs, Candy bought delicious dessert again for us to enjoy on the flight. We enjoyed our stay with Joanna & Candy. Thank you!

The location was nice, close to MTR, tram and bus stations, with lots of restaurants around. I had a few questions before my stay and was answered promptly. Joanna and her mom Candy were so incredibly helpful!!

Jun 27, 2019The location was great, close to MRT and not far away from all the places we'd like to visit. And I think they tried very hard to provide everything they can think of. Room was small but sweet. Candy was very nice to pick us up from the metro station and introduced us some dinning and shopping places, and she is always patient and helpful and friendly, love her very much. Would consider this place again if ever visit hk again.

Jun 27, 2019I had the best experience staying with Joanna and her mother, Candy. The place is exactly how described, the room is comfortable and both hosts are the nicest most helpful people ever!!I ended my stay early in a place in Wan Chai (cockroach infested) and Joanna and Candy were quick to respond to my request to book the next day. They have all that you need: linens, water, snacks, juice etc. and someone to clean twice a week. Their two cats are friendly and cute! I really loved Quarry Bay as well, quiet with some great restaurants/bars and a gym near by. Definitely recommend this place to others and will recommend to my friends visiting Hong Kong!!!!

Jun 27, 2019It is a home! Our room is cleaned once a week with new bedsheet and tissues refilled, clothes washed. The hospitality can be felt in many aspects but to a gourmet like me the most impressive experience is about all kinds of yummy snacks Candy gave us. The room is cozy and quiet and the location is very convenient. I love the place and thank you Joanna and Candy!
Jun 27, 2019Joanna was super responsive to all our upfront requests and also the check-in worked very well although she wasn't present herself. The flat is in a perfect location very close to MTR Quarry Bay which brings you in 15-30mins basically to almost all attractions. We also really enjoyed the presence of the two cats which are super cute and friendly. They were already awaiting our return every day.

They have all the things in case you need! The kitties are reallly cute and they are happy to play with us. Definitely will come back next time!

Our host Joanna was very friendly and helpful while giving us plenty of space to relax alone when we needed it. The room was spotless, very comfortable and had every amenity you could want. The room comes stocked with snacks and drinks. The cats are super friendly and make you feel at home. We will definitely stay here next time we are in HK as it really feels like a home away from home.

Jun 27, 2019My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Joanna's place. It was clean, comfy and cozy and the cats were so adorable and friendly. Amenities like the kitchen, washing machine and dryer were also available for guests to use. Joanna is also a friendly host and is quick to respond! Location wise, it's great as it's a 3 min walk to the MTR station and is surrounded by restaurants and supermarkets.

Jun 27, 2019Joanna's place was wonderful. Even though we didnt get to meet her, her mom candy was there to answer questions or if we needed anything. Joanna is really quick to respond to messages if you need anything as well. our room was cleaned 1x while we stayed there, they always had water for us which was nice, you can ask for extra towels depending on how long you're staying. we stayed 11 days so it was nice that we didn't have to worry about anything that we didn't have. If you love cats or animals this is the place for you. They have 2 cats which are basically dogs they greet you at the door when you come in or leave, and in the morning if they know you're awake, they will meow at your door to let them in. This really made a great start to our day. the MRT in only a couple minute walk in either direction and it was really easy to get around. if I were to ever come back to Hong Kong I would definitly stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019Joanna was super nice and gave great instructions for getting to the apartment from the airport and for checking in. She also let us leave our bags at the apartment for a few hours after check-out since we had a late flight. Her cats were also really friendly and the bathroom in the bedroom was nice. The fact that it's so close the the MTR was also really convenient.
