Great apartment! Super clean, comfortable, and plenty of space. Very close to the A/C and only a short trip to Manhattan. Beautiful neighborhood full of restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Would recommend anyone to stay here!
Jun 27, 2019My husband, son and I stayed in Judy's apartment for a week. We loved it! The location was brilliant and the apartment was stunning. A fantastic kitchen that we cooked in every night, a great dining area for friends to pop around and very spacious, clean and stylish furnishings. Judy was brilliant. A caring and energetic host always there to ask questions and check in if we needed anything. On arrival she greeted us with some food and even helped me to organise my little son when we had to leave. Would definitely stay again and hope to do so later in the year :) Many thanks again Judy!
Jun 27, 2019My parents came for their first visit (in a decade) to New York, so I booked Judy's second-floor apartment, just down the block from my flat. They spent a long weekend (three nights) in this spacious airy apartment. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, secure, and include a well-equipped modern kitchen. Judy was very nice and welcoming, providing a supply of breakfast staples as well as great hints about neighborhood cafes and restaurants. My mother - always apprehensive about parking - was especially pleased that there is lots of free on-street parking available in the surrounding neighborhood. Judy was easy to correspond with in advance and to connect with the day they arrived - she's very responsive, and even let me preview the space to ensure it would be accessible for my older parents. I hope the apartment is available the next time they visit Brooklyn - which they are excited to do as a result of a very restful, comfortable weekend.
Jun 27, 2019Excellent experience! Judy met me at the curb and even helped carry our bags upstairs. We mostly communicated via text, she always responded promptly so it was very useful. The apartment itself is incredibly convenient, near many subway lines, excellent restaurants, and various interesting sections of Brooklyn. It was lots of space for two people, with plenty of light and a comfortable bed. Recommended all around as classy and convenient NYC lodging.
Jun 27, 2019I honestly loved staying at Judy's apartment. She and her husband was really helpful, they gave us tips on restaurant, yoga classes... The apartment was really clean and pictures are representative of the place. New kitchen and new bathroom. The area was great as well, a lot of restaurant and ship close by. It was our first time staying in Brooklyn and we enjoyed it a lot.

Jun 27, 2019My husband and I, along with our one year old son, had a wonderful stay at this apartment. Judy was great and very responsive via email and text. The apartment itself was spacious and had lovely amenities. Looks just like the photos. The washer and dryer was a huge plus for us since we were traveling with a toddler. The location is fantastic too. I cannot say enough good things about this apartment and experience!
Jun 27, 2019I booked Judy's apartment for 2 nights last week along with my adult son and his girlfriend. Judy was extremely helpful and easy to deal with! The apartment was very spacious and immaculate. There were fresh cut flowers on the table and a few essentials in the kitchen: milk, cereal, coffee, tea bags, etc. These nice little touches were very much appreciated! We had a quick breakfast at the apartment and then were on our way and ready to explore. There were also toiletries (shower gel/shampoo) in the bathroom for those (like my son! who do not bring their own! Judy also had an extra bedroom just down the hall that I rented as well (for privacy). The apartment is located in a very nice and charming area with lots of (inexpensive) restaurants nearby along with some cute shops. You can walk down Atlantic Avenue or State to get to Brooklyn Bridge Park (which is quite lovely!). It's about a 10 minute walk. We were literally a 3 minute walk to the nearest subway heading into Manhattan, so that was a plus. Staying in Brooklyn is the way to go if you like a less chaotic and quieter place to stay. We will definitely be back!
Jun 27, 2019This apartment was fantastic. It's a lovely, charming place, very bright. The kitchen and bathroom have both recently been fully renovated. The apartment was very clean. Judy was a great host. When we arrived, we found that she had left us a carton of organic milk, granola, and a package of Stumptown coffee. She gave us some good tips for local restaurants, and she let us store our luggage in the building for a little while after we checked out. The location is great. There are some good restaurants just around the corner on Atlantic, as well as a very good french bakery. Just a couple of blocks down Bond are two more very good restaurants, Building on Bond and Ruccola. The neighborhood is great to walk around. Smith St. is just a couple of blocks away with tons of shops, bars, restaurants. The Hoyt Schermerhorn metro is just a couple of blocks away, which can take you into the city on the A or C, or further into Brooklyn on the G. Other statios are a few minutes walk away. We would love to stay here again.

She responded to all of my questions and concerns promptly, accommodated an early arrival and late check out, and even promptly took care of a small issue that occurred during our stay. I would absolutely stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019The apartment is superb: spacious, immaculate, furnished with impeccable taste, and renovated with excellent quality materials!!!!! We loved the open space full of light and the spaciousness to relax after a busy day .Judy added so many touches that made our stay remarkable: basics like juice, milk, coffee and granola; toiletries, laundry detergent, fresh flowers. Everything was very clean and there were cleaning products available for our use. The washer and dryer were a big plus. We were not able to meet Judy since she was not in town but all our communications and the arrival/departure arrangements were perfect. We liked the neighborhood: diverse, vibrant, close to Atlantic terminal/subway/buses and with nice grocery/dinner options. It was a wonderful way to enjoy Manhattan since it was an easy and short subway ride away. We had the best pizza in many years at Lucali's. We could not asked for anything else and we are extremely thankful to Judy.

Renovated, sunny and well kept, it was perfect for my family. The kitchen and dining room sealed the deal with the dining table where we were able to have a family meal. The eye for detail throughout my family's stay was so helpful- from the instructions on every set of keys, printing out of maps and a binder full of recommendations, I'm definitely going to tell my friends to stay here in the future. Judy is super easy to get a hold of and happily answered all of my questions. Thanks again, Judy!

Jun 27, 2019We've had a great stay at Judy and Sasha's place ! The apartment is spotless, actually larger than it appears on the pictures, has all you need and is very tastefully decorated. Our hosts went out of their way to accommodate our two year old son on a real mattress in the main bedroom. Although the nearby avenue can be a bit loud at night, earplugs are provided, and the cool humming of the aircon happens to cover most of it. The neighborhood is great ! Lively yet very safe. Within walking distance is the buzzing Fulton Mall, and the more elegant Smith St. and Court St. Plenty of restaurants, bars, bakeries and cafés. Judy and Sasha provided us with a list of their favorite places - Don't miss Van Leeuwen's unforgettable organic Ginger Ice Cream ! Catch the A and C lines at the Hoyt-Schermerhorn station, one block away, and ride to downtown Manhattan in ten minutes... Judy and Sasha are discreet hosts, yet very caring. We've been texting prior to our arrival and while we were staying there. They dealt with any little issue in a swift and elegant manner. We really felt like we had settled in Brooklyn for a week, and have left NYC with unforgettable memories. --- L'appartement de Judy et Sasha est propre, plus grand que sur les photos, bien équipé et décoré avec goût. Judy et Sasha ont tout fait pour que notre fils de deux ans puisse dormir avec nous dans la chambre sur un vrai matelas. Jun 27, 2019I had an absolutely fabulous time staying in the apartment! The apartment was cosy and tastefully decorated. And It had all the amenities I needed while traveling to New York on business. The apartment was spacious which was great as I dislike small and cramped living spaces. The neighborhood felt safe and has some really cool stores that are worth checking out. There are also some nice restaurants, bars, bakeries and cafés. Check out Bacchus! Its a nice french restaurant close to the corner of Bond St. and Atlantic Ave. And for midnight munchies there are a few 24 hour convenience stores near by. It is also worth mentioning that the apartment is within walking distance to the bustling Fulton Mall stretch, where you can find good buys. I found the Hoyt-Schermerhorn subway station to be very convenient as it was very close to the apartment. You can catch both the A and C lines which will take you in and out of Manhattan in about 10 minutes or so. Judy was a joy to deal with and I thank her for her hospitality. She answered my questions swiftly and responded to a slight glitch in the internet quickly which was a great help. Even though I was only in New York City for 4 days, I felt like I was just settling in and enjoying all that New York City had to offer. I will definitely return to Judy's place the next time I am in New York!

The location is great, it takes just a few minutes by subway to Manhattan downtown. There are a few nice restaurants and coffee bars in the area as well as a small supermarket. Jun 27, 2019Judy and her husband are great hosts, and the apartment is beautiful. The building is safe and secure, and the store on the lower level is adorable. Boerum Hill is convenient to get to/from Manhattan, and there are great local restaurants - Building on Bond has amazing coffee. Target is a quick 10-15 minute walk away too, if you forget any toiletries. Judy is always available via text, and she even created a guide to the area that was spot-on. We will definitely come back, it was an awesome experience overall!
Jun 27, 2019This was my first time using Airbnb, and I had such a great experience!! Judy was the perfect host. She responded quickly to all of my emails. I traveled from California to New York with my husband and 9-month-old baby for my brother's wedding in Brooklyn. The apartment was just a short drive from JFK. When we entered the apartment, we were really pleased with the modern, eclectic decor (I want her to come and decorate my place in CA!). I LOVED seeing locally made granola and organic milk and bananas waiting for us in the kitchen. It made me feel right at home! Having a small infant, I was very particular about staying in a clean place, and Judy's apartment did not disappoint. I felt safe preparing my little one's food in the kitchen with the dishes and utensils provided, giving him a bath in the tub, and letting him roam around the living room and bedroom. Also, the apartment is really close to some great shops and restaurants! We loved frequenting Grumpy Bert (little store with unique art, toys, gifts, etc.) every day, which is right downstairs from the apartment! We were also blocks away from Rucola, a tiny Italian restaurant, where we had some of the best pasta ever! Judy provided us with a folder of cafe/restaurant recommendations, and we loved every single one that we visited! Next time we go to New York, we will definitely try to stay here again!
Jun 27, 2019We stayed 10 day's at Judy's place. We had a great time and the apartment is beautiful, nice and clean. For the Dutch people: Het is een feest om hier te vertoeven. Het appartement is erg schoon, met een prima bed en welvoorziene keuken.En de ijskast gevuld met de ingrediënten voor een ontbijt. Ook de locatie is prima. Soms wel wat druk door het verkeer, maar op het nachtkastje liggen oordopjes. Het ligt in een levendige wijk, op de hoek is er een Citibike station en een blok verder is de metro met zowel een directe lijn naar JFK als naar Manhattan . Tenslotte is Judy erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Al met al een prima plek om New York te verkennen.
Jun 27, 2019Myself and my newly wed wife wanted a place to stay in Brooklyn and were lucky enough to find Judy's apartment. It was in an immaculate condition, very stylish and homely. The location is perfect for being able to explore Brooklyn / Manhattan. Brooklyn Heights and Brooklyn Bridge Park ar a short walk away, and the local Subway station is just round the corner to get to Manhattan or Williamsburg Judy was an amazing host and very accommodating to our needs. I could not recommend this place highly enough.
Jun 27, 2019Great stay for exploring NYC! We stayed one week at Judy's place. The appartment is modern, clean, nicely furnished and quiet (except for some traffic noise during the day). Judy and her husband Sascha are very helpful. This place is great for exploring NYC (a subway that takes you in 5 min downtown and in 20 min to midtown is only 100 metres away!) from a base-camp in a nice part of Brooklyn. There are plenty of nice bars, restaurants, shops, take-aways and diners around the corner! We would definitely stay at this place again when we would be travelling to NYC again!

Jun 27, 2019Judy's apartment is possibly the best holiday rental I have stayed in whilst in NYC and I have seen a few! It is light, very spacious, comfortable, full of cool furniture and everything you are likely to need on your trip, from guide books, maps, toiletries, hair dryer, washing machine...you name it, Judy has it. Judy herself and her husband are the perfect hosts, helpful and super responsive yet respectful of your privacy. The neighbourhood is packed with great restaurants and quirky shops and excellent transport facilities but I'll stop right here - if this apartment becomes too popular it may jeopardise my chances of staying there in the future :)
Jun 27, 2019We had a great time at Judy's apartment in this great Brooklyn neighborhood! The apartment was exactly as pictured; really tastefully decorated and spotless. The location was perfect for exploring both Manhattan and Boerum Hill. The subway station is around the corner and gets you into the city in 10-15 minutes. We loved it here and wholeheartedly recommend it! My only regret is that I never got to meet their dog! :)
Jun 27, 2019This was my first Airbnb stay and I have only great things to say about Judy's place and her hospitality. The apartment was exactly as presented, beautifully decorated and welcoming. The location was amazing, a beautiful neighbourhood for walking, as well as very close proximity to the subway lines going into Manhattan. What made the stay even better were all of the little thoughtful details: fresh milk in the fridge, granola and fruit left as a snack, and lots of great information collected in a handy book including restaurant recommendations for the neighbourhood, subway and bike maps, and car service to the airport. I would highly recommend a stay here!
Jun 27, 2019We had a great stay at Judy's; the apartment was just what we wanted as far as facilities and location were concerned. We were a few hundred yards from the A line which gives straightforward access into Manhattan and up the west side and it is also within walking distance of many other subway routes. The area around Atlantic avenue abounds in restaurants, cafés, shops and bars but is not as frenetic as parts of Manhattan. Judy was a very kind and helpful host.
Jun 27, 2019Judy and the apartment exceeded my expectations. Judy was easy to coordinate with and lovely. The apartment was a little oasis...a home away from home in every sense. The bed was super comfy, apartment was clean and tidy with all the little amenities you could need (hair dryer, washer/dryer should you need that, and yummy coffee for the morning), and love how they decorated the place. Overall a great experience - I have bookmarked this place for future visits.

The place is spacious, well-maintained, and with many details attended to that make it feel luxurious rather than simply comfortable-- high quality towels and sheets, an ipod dock for music, up to date kitchen appliances, good shower pressure, ear plugs and books by the bedside... I could go on. Judy was courteous and answered all of my questions promptly, even with short notice. The apartment is sunny and cheerful and close to all major subway lines coming into Brooklyn. We hope to come again and this time will schedule less to do in the city so we can spend more time in and around this gem of a space.
Jun 27, 2019When I read Judy’s listing, it met my needs so perfectly that I was worried the real thing would *have* to be a bit of a letdown. But the real thing turned out to be even better. The apartment itself is *exactly* as advertised, and Judy and Sasha’s extra touches – a wonderful neighborhood guide with their personal recommendations, thorough instructions for apartment appliances, a starter of granola/milk/fruit, and kind responsiveness to questions - made our stay as good as we could have imagined. The proximity to the A/C line is really worth noting, as is having good markets (Brooklyn Fare, Trader Joe’s) and neighborhood restaurants all within easy walking distance. It’s a wonderful place to stay while visiting New York.
Jun 27, 2019My fiancée and I stayed here for four nights while our furniture was being shipped from New York to San Francisco. The place is just as nice as it looks in the photos, the building and neighborhood are quiet and there were a number of thoughtful small touches, like a great guide to the local restaurants, lots of New York-themed books and art and some breakfast fixings. It's extremely convenient to subways as well. One note: If you stay there when it's cold, you might need to ask Judy to turn up the thermostat, as we did. There are radiators in the apartment but the master control is in her unit. But we were there during the Polar Vortex, so you probably won't have that problem.

Jun 27, 2019I had a great time in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. Judy and her husband were great hosts, they were caring and helpful. The apt looked exactly as the pictures and the neighborhood felt friendly. It was great to have the metro station, were the A train were passing by, som close. I can certainly recommend the apartment for anyone looking to stay in Brooklyn, but at the same time be close to Manhattan, which you are because of the A train. We had our two year old son with us and there is two playgrounds not so far from the apt.
Jun 27, 2019This was a wonderful apartment. We enjoyed the light, the privacy, the comfy bed and the coffee experience. It was new for us to grind our beans and drip our coffee! The apartment was well stocked in the kitchen and bath, plus there is a washer and dryer! The location is very convenient and safe. I highly recommend Judy and her apartment.
Jun 27, 2019In mid March my two daughters and I stayed at Judy's apartment in Boerum Hill for four nights. This was not my first stay in Brooklyn, but it was the first time I had rented an apartment, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The pictures of the apartment and the various communications from Judy were on point, but pictures are just that. We could not have been happier upon arrival. The apartment was very clean, sunny as the pictures had projected and had all the amenities we needed to have a relaxing four day break. We like to cook and found the kitchen well stocked with all the conveniences necessary. I could tell you of all the little extras Judy made available, but I'll just say we were very comfortable. Judy was out of town but stayed in touch to make sure we were happy. This was a very pleasant experience and one I would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Brooklyn or the big city. When I return, and I will, I know where I'm staying. Thanks Judy.
Jun 27, 2019We spent 7 days in this light and beatiful appartment. Judy is very friendly and we felt us welcome. There were plenty of tea and coffee, the good one☺️. It is very easy to take the metro to Manhattan, but we also took it to Brighton and spent a day at the sea. The neigbourhood is cosy with many nice restaurants and farmers markets. Take the bus up to Prospect Park and have a walk back. Nice bookshop and toyshop in 7.avenue. We will come back some other time. Many greetings from Jette and Ebbe in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Jun 27, 2019We stayed 9 nights in this apartment. The apartment is bright and clean and has everything you need to feel at home. There are many N.Y. travel guide books to help you plan your days. It was great to come home and get into a comfortable bed at the end of a big day of sightseeing. If you are planning on attending any sporting or music events at the Barclays Centre you will be happy to know that the centre is only a few minutes walk away. You are completely self contained and private in this apartment but the owners only live upstairs and are available if you have a problem. Judy kept in contact through messaging and she was so helpful and able to answer of my queries. We stayed in Manhattan for several nights before coming to this apartment and we felt that we had a true NY experience staying in Boerum Hill. Weekly subway travel cards are only $30.00 for the week and we found it really easy to get around NY and beyond. There is a subway stop only one and a half blocks away. We really enjoyed our stay.
Jun 27, 2019We had just a little contact with Judy, who lives upstairs, and was warm and helpful when we had questions or requests. This is an exquisite unit, decorated in an interplay between a simple design taste that uses focused colored and the elaborate molding, French doors and arches of the building itself, downplayed in a uniform white, to elegant effect. The Apple TV was a useful addition, much more appreciated than any number of cable channels. The dining room and kitchen were ample for a take-in meal with guests, and we could have cooked more elaborately had we wanted.
Jun 27, 2019We stayed in Judy's lovely apartment for 6 days with our 2 children. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a new bathroom and kitchen with the most necessary utensils to cook meals. The apartment decor is very nice and the kids loved the opportunity to watch Netflix movies. You quickly feel like being at home and the apartment looks exactly as on the photos. The location is great with a short distance to the subway to Manhattan and JFK airport - and within walking distance to many of Brooklyn's nice neighborhoods: Dumbo, Prospects park, Brooklyn Bridge area, etc. Smith street is a great place to do shopping. Brooklyn Fare, a delicious organic grocery store is close to the subway which is very convenient on your way home after a long day in Manhattan. Judy is a welcoming and helpful host, easy to get in touch with if necessary. We will definitely return to Judy's apartment on future visits to New York and can highly recommend the apartment to friends and everyone else.

It is perfectly located close to attractions, transportation, restaurants, groceries, boutiques, antique stores and more. Judy provided whatever we needed, responding quickly to our request. Jun 27, 2019We had a great stay at this fantastic flat. Child save and very well located. Our 1,5yr old daughter didn't hv much to take apart or fall off from. We enjoyed this very well situated flat with good access to subway, deli's and restaurants/take always. Only to recommend and I'd go back there any time. Needless to say that I'm a Brooklyn fan whatsoever. Kitchen and bath is well equipped- being able doing a laundry certainly helps with a toddler.

Judy's description is completely accurate, both for the appartment, for transportation facilities or for the neighbourhood (nice shops and restaurants : you have to taste Rucola, nice and trendy italian restaurant !). She is also a very charming host, helpful and accommodating. We definitely recommend this location.

The apartment is situated in a lovely area of Brooklyn with lots of cafes and restaurants only a short walk away on Smith street. There were also 3 train stations in close walking distance to the apartment. We spent a lot of time in Manhattan as it was only 1 stop on the subway! Judy was a very helpful host, getting back to is really quickly if we had any questions. Will definitely return and recommend to others :)

We wanted to discover Brooklyn and Boerum Hill was the perfect place to start. A charming neighborhood with great restaurants, cafes, groceries and an easy access by subway or even bus to the so many key sights of Brooklyn and Manhattan. And Judy was so nice and helpful: simply a great host! We had a great time and would love to come back.

I loved the thoughtful personal touches with granola and milk and apples for breakfast (I arrived very late at night). The apartment is lovely, light and airy and I immediately felt like it was my own..the area around has everything you need, lots of subways within easy walking distance and restaurants and shops right on your doorstep…hope to be back soon! Yes it's noisy but that's city living and as we live in london it certainly wasn't a problem. The folder provided with tips on local restaurants and cafés was a nice touch and we tried quite a few of Judys recommendations. Would definitely recommend this lovely apartment.
Jun 27, 2019We greatly enjoyed our stay at Judy and Sasha's Boerum Hill apartment. The pictures set up a high level of expectation and the reality did not disappoint, the apartment was beautiful, well-decorated, and clean. As someone who had lived in Brooklyn previously, I appreciated that the apartment gave me the experience again of "living" in a Brooklyn neighborhood. Along with all the nearby restaurants and conveniences, especially nice was the fact that the apartment was in a very central location; whether one wanted to walk around to nearby neighborhoods in Brooklyn or take one of many close-by subway lines into Manhattan, one could do so quickly and easily. We also greatly appreciated the small thoughtful touches that made us feel welcome and allowed us to quickly acclimate to the apartment and neighborhood. Judy and Sasha allowed us to check in early and had granola, yogurt, fresh fruit and coffee waiting for us-- all of which we were quite thankful for after a long red-eye flight. The thorough notes of information and instructions regarding the area and the apartment also made it clear that these were hosts who thought of nearly everything that might make their guests' stay better and left no detail unconsidered. We would definitely stay in the apartment again, should we be lucky enough to find it available next time we come to NYC.
Jun 27, 2019I took my parents to NYC and chose Judy's place to stay. It was pure perfection. The area is super nice. On Atlantic Avenue you'll find nice restaurants and a corner store that sells all necessary food items (bread, baguette, cheese, etc). So especially after a busy day in Manhattan, Brooklyn is just a good place to calm down and relax. The apartment itself is as described. The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen sufficiently equipped (however we only had breakfast there). You do not need to bring any shampoo, hair dryer, etc. It's all there. This being said, I would come back at any time! Thanks, Judy!

We took pictures of her getting ready in the apartment and will always remember this fabulous apartment in those pictures and the fond memories we made in Brooklyn. The apartment was tastefully furnished, the kitchen was beautiful and the bed was oh so comfortable. We will stay here again if we come back for a visit!
Jun 27, 2019Judy did a great job accommodating us with: easy key access, a welcome packet on good places in the area (including personal descriptions of area stops), some treats within the apartment, high-speed WiFi, and very clean place. Noise in the apartment was extremely low, especially for the city. Bathroom/shower was great for a couple people, and the washer and dryer was a pleasant surprise. Really could not ask for anything more, and made our NYC trip very enjoyable.

Jun 27, 2019My wife and I really have enjoyed staying in 82 Bond Street (Brooklyn). The apartment is wonderful. The neighborhood is just great. For nearly one week, we did stay in Brooklyn exploring it. We even did not go to Manhattan!! The location of the flat is very good and for a one bedroom, there is plenty of space. We really recommend this flat.

She was onhand when we arrived to let us into the apartment (and even offered to help us carry our bags up the flight of stairs) and to show us where things were. The apartment was as nice (and as clean) as shown in the photos, and was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It is perfectly placed to discover the surrounding Brooklyn neighbourhoods (leafy tree-lined streets filled with vintage furniture stores, boutiques, food stores, small restaurants and cafes) yet is also very conveniently located to all subway lines into Manhattan. We would highly recommend it to anyone.

Jun 27, 2019I wish I would have had more time to enjoy this place more. I was on a business trip, so I only used this place for sleeping, and barely saw it in daylight. However the mornings I spent in the kitchen/dining room were incredibly sunny and peaceful. Really enjoyed this place which reminded me of home. It has that old New York charm that all these new condos are lacking. The apartment has everything you need for a short or long stay. Bathroom and kitchen are newly renovated, and the washer/dryer and dishwasher are a dream for any New Yorker (although my short stay didnt require neither of them). The location couldnt be more ideal for Brooklyn, you are anywhere in a second. The tips in the hosts welcome book are spot on. The checking in and communication with the host was excellent.
Jun 27, 2019We were very pleased with our 10 day stay in the apartment. The hosts provided a detailed "users guide" which also included neighborhood shopping and restaurant recommendations. The kitchen is spacious and outfitted. Although we mostly used it for quick meals it is well suited for real cooking and includes a large refrigerator and dishwasher. The apartment is spacious, clean, and comfortable. There were even fresh flowers on the dining (Website hidden by Airbnb) looks like the photos. There were a number of guidebooks and maps available. The neighborhood is interesting, offering a variety of shops and restaurants within walking distance. There a a number of subway lines which can be reached with a short walk, including an express train to Manhattan. We were very satisfied with our stay and hope to return.

We did a lot of walking different times of the day and felt very comfortable. The rooms were sunny and inviting. The bed was very comfortable. The room temps were warm enough during the day and nicely cooler for sleeping. We are readers and appreciated the lights on each nightstand. The updated bath and kitchen are well equipped and large for NY. I loved the Bosch gas stove and appreciated the nice sized refrigerator. There was plenty of hot water. We so appreciated the two clothes racks with an abundance of sturdy wood hangers.
Jun 27, 2019This was our first AirBnB experience and it went without a hitch. We loved every minute staying in this expansive and comfortable apartment and would happily return. Booking/Arrival: Judy and Alex made the booking system really straightforward and responded via email promptly to all our questions before arriving re getting from airport, car services, weather etc etc. Due to timings we used a key safe to retrieve keys - no issues at all. Apartment: Exactly as described and photographed. It is a really lovely light and airy proper 1 bedroom apartment. The bed is a comfy US queen-size (5ft) bed with a good mattress - we slept soundly every night. For two, the space was great, we loved having the bedroom, lounge and dining room to spread out in. The bathroom - often the thing that lets down many places has been refitted recently and is very clean, it has a decent power-shower with piping hot water and a separate nook for the laundry appliances. The sofa in the lounge was large and comfy, great for lazing on after day on your feet. Kitchen is well equipped and a dishwasher was nice touch. There's the right amount of furniture and it's neither overcrowded & cluttered nor minimalist. The heating worked well and we were never cold (stayed in mid Dec) - the heating is old so you experience the hiss and whoosh of the steam pipes but we found it strangely comforting. Location: Steps from Atlantic Avenue, 3 blocks from the multitude of subway lines running through the Atlantic Avenue terminal (where you buy your Metro Card) which whizz you into Manhattan within 20 mins. The area is full of independent boutique shops, lovely restaurants and cafes - some dangerously close. It's a great spot to explore Brooklyn from as well: we took a suggested walk from our hosts and covered Cobble Hill, Caroll Gardens, Brooklyn Heights as well as Boerum Hill. The Brooklyn Bridge Park is well worth a visit. There was so much to do and see, we simply couldn't fit everything in. You're also only a 15min walk away the top end of Prospect Park. Hosts: Anytime we had a question, Judy or Alex responded very quickly by email with suggestions or information accordingly. We never got to meet them but then we were out all day, every day of our 6 night stay. They were simply wonderful and were able to give us a late check out which was much appreciated. They thought of all sorts of little things e.g. earplugs for city living, fresh milk, a host of useful maps and their guide to local restaurants and services. We were so happy staying here, we would have asked to stay another week had our schedule allowed it. We wouldn't hesitate to say 'stay here' or return ourselves.

Subway a 5 minute walk and 19 minute ride to Lower ManhattanWas quiet for a city location and Judy provided ear plugs for the uninitiated (I travel with a sleep sound file on my iPhone so am not bothered by noise - but noticed the quiet when I took them off). Judy was a great host. The place was clean and looked like the pictures but was larger and even nicer than I expected. Would HIGHLY recommend to others

Most notable is the very large living and dining space with large windows on both ends that make it a very bright and desirable place for retreat throughout the day. We are a family of four and found it very spacious, clean and with good amenities. We rented the second bedroom for our kids which worked out well. Judy is a very nice and responsive host. We used Judy's place for the first half our NYC vacation and stayed in the East Village for the remainder. We found this location the most comfortable with good access to subways, and fine local restaurants and shopping.
Jun 27, 2019This is my second stay at 82 Bond St. My daughters and I love this apartment. It's clean, it's roomy, and we are able to cook, which we all enjoy. The neighborhood is safe, there are corner groceries available with fresh produce and if you are patient and can figure out the street cleaning schedule, you can find parking easily enough. Judy is always available either by phone, text or email and very accommodating. We plan to return next year, and hopefully will be able to stay here again. Judy's place suits all our needs. I would highly recommend her apartment if you plan a stay in Brooklyn or the big city.

Jun 27, 2019We stayed here for a week in April with our six-month-old son. Judy was great. She was really helpful and the arrival and departure went really smoothly. The apartment is in a great part of Brooklyn and is a spacious one-bedroom place with a nice living room and kitchen/diner. It's just round the corner from the subway and it's just a few stops into Manhattan. There are also really good restaurants and great grocery stores within a few minutes of the apartment. We were easily able to drive right up to the apartment to drop off our luggage and Judy had left a really good guide about the local area with everything we needed to know. She was sweet enough to leave us fresh milk and baby juice in the fridge and the kitchen is a really good size with great oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. There is also good room in the bathroom for the washer/dryer. Would really recommend to anyone looking for a place in Brooklyn.

The apartment was quite large by NYC standards, and was clean and elegant. The neighborhood was safe and several restaurants were within a block or two. WiFi and apple TV were great for the kids.
Jun 27, 2019Our stay at Judy's was absolutely fantastic. We spent 10 nights and were sorry to leave. The location is very easy to access via subway as it runs on the A, C and G lines. Going to Manhattan, Williamsburg, Coney Island etc was no problem whatsoever and the station is only 1 minute walk away. Everything we needed was provided. We decided not to pack towels and were relived to find that these were ready for us. Many kitchen, laundry and bathroom essentials were provided too. TV, cable and Apple TV were easy to use. We felt a great deal of independence in our apartment, and loved sitting at the dining table in the evening with a cool beer and sore feet, plotting our adventures for the next day. Thank you Judy; New York will always be Boerum Hill for us!

Jun 27, 2019This was my second stay at this wonderful apartment and I plan to book another stay within the next few months. The location is fabulous and the apt. is bright and cheery! Amazingly, you have complete privacy even though the owners live on the top floor of this beautiful brownstone. (Judy and Alex are only a ring or text away to answer your questions or respond to requests and are incredibly lovely people!) The modern kitchen with a full sized refrigerator, incredible stove/oven AND dishwasher --not to mention granite countertops--is such a treat to have in New York where eating out for every meal can be quite pricey. (My only request would be some additional pots/pans and dinner ware for guests like me who like to cook and have some meals at home.) The biggest bonus for long term guests is the full sized washer and dryer! The bottom line is this apt. is cute and cozy with all the amenities of a full sized home and I can't wait to book my next visit! By the way, if you worry about street noise, NO WORRIES! This flat is located on a side street and with closed windows I never heard a thing. Wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, and cafes just steps out your door, as well as grocery stores and boutiques that offer everything you could ever want/need. Subway stations nearby and easy to access virtually any line. (Note: We always rent the second bedroom for our teen aged son who wants his own private space. It works beautifully!) Jun 27, 2019I booked this apartment for my mom, dad and sister for a visit to see me in Brooklyn. Just down the street from my apartment, it seemed the perfect fit! Judy and I stayed in contact up to their arrival, and she was quick to reply and clear in her instructions. I was very pleased! My mom wrote the following about their experience: "What a pleasant surprise to find such a sweet place for our 3-night stay in Brooklyn! The security of three locked doors to get to the stairs was a challenge, but very welcome, as we felt quite safe. There is easy walk to Hoyt metro station. From the front windows one can see down Bond to Atlantic, which is an easy area for eateries and necessities. From the back windows one looks out on green garden below and greenery of trees. The place was very clean, the bed was great, the wood floors and eclectic décor were fun. Both kitchen and bath have been updated nicely. We would definitely stay again and recommend."

Jun 27, 2019Gosh you couldn't ask for a better apartment if you're looking to rent an entire one out, this was everything we could ask for, and more! The little touches like having fresh coffee, milk and granola made our start to the day easy, as did having all of the things like a washing machine, hairdryer, tv with Netflix and a comfy bed. We highly recommend Brooklyn Fare (which is just around the corner) to get all of your fresh food/pre-prepared food - amazing! There are a few different train lines all within walking distance also, so it's not hard to get into Manhattan. We'll definitely stay here again if we come back to NYC!

We used to live in the neighborhood, and were very pleased to find the airbnb was even better located and better appointed than our old place. Jun 27, 2019Bonito apartamento en Brooklyn con buenos accesos a las lineas de metro que nosotros utilizamos para ir a Manhattan. Estuvimos muy bien. Aprovechamos para visitar tambien la propia zona de Brooklyn y fuimos a uno de los restaurantes de la zona sugeridos por Judy y estuvo muy bien. Nos pudieron guardar las maletas ya que teníamos el vuelo por la tarde.
Jun 27, 2019Judy's place in Brooklyn made our NYC trip a super memorable one! The house was much nicer than the photos, we were pleasantly surprised with the clean, well-decorated, spacious, warm, and newly renovated house. I was there with my Mom (her first time in NY) and all she talked about after the trip was how nice the apartment was, and how she looked forward to going back "home" after a long day out sightseeing in NYC. The apartment is in a great neighborhood, few blocks from the subway, close to markets, shops, and restaurants. The kitchen is very well equipped so you can make a quick meal if needed as well. In short - this is one of the best airbnbs i've stayed in a while and i totally recommend judy's apartment!!

Judy è molto gentile e disponibile: ad esempio, prima del nostro arrivo a NY, ci ha inviato un messaggio con moltissimi consigli su ristoranti e bar della zona. Inoltre, ci ha portato una coperta in più quando la temperatura è scesa di molto. Abbiamo trovato latte e cereali per la colazione, té, caffè e un gelato in freezer. Insomma: appartamento super consigliato!
Jun 27, 2019Yet another fabulous stay in Brooklyn in the "Sunny Boerum Hill Apartment!" This was my 3rd or 4th stay and I'll be back again and again. This comfortable and exceptionally clean apartment has everything you need for a few days or a few weeks in New York City, including a modern kitchen, bath and laundry. It is located in a wonderful area near Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill/Carroll Gardens, and is within a short walk to several subway stations as well as many restaurants and plenty of shops. The owners live upstairs but you will see them only as much as you like. They are responsive and helpful with plenty of suggestions should you need them. The wifi is great and the bed very comfy... what more could you ask? Thank you again, Judy and Sascha! See you in October!

Jun 27, 2019Had a fantastic stay here in Brooklyn. Location of the flat is great with 2 min walk to subway line to Manhattan. Judy was extremely helpful from the start of the trip just checking in once to make sure we were OK. Flat is spacious with everything you could need including guide books. Overall would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore Brooklyn, Williamsburg and Manhattan.
Jun 27, 2019We stayed in Judy's apartment for a week in February. The apartment is as described in all previous reviews. Spacious, comfortable, warm, well furnished, secure. The kitchen and bathroom are both modern and well equipped. Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, heaps of TV channels and numerous transport options close by. Judy was a delight to deal with, prompt, efficient and no fuss. Highly recommend.
Jun 27, 2019This is an adorable place in a cool part of Brooklyn, we had a super smooth check in even with getting in late and the apartment was a cozy place to arrive to! Felt like home with some essentials in the fridge and light cereal options available. Really clean and had a very upscale feel! Would highly recommend this apartment if you are interested in checking out Brooklyn- and it only took us 20 min to get into manhattan on the subway.

Judy che abita al piano superiore è stata molto gentile sia al check-in in orario serale che al check-out offrendoci di lasciare le valge fino alla nostra partenza in tarda serata. all'interno abbiamo trovato tutte le indicazioni necessarie su bar ristoranti e funzionamento degli elettrodomestici. il quartiere è meraviglioso, sicuro e vicino a molte stazioni della metropolitana. Consiglio vivamente questo appartamento e sicuramente lo sceglierò dinuovo per i miei viaggi a New York!!! Thank you Judy Francesca
Jun 27, 2019The place was perfect in every possible way - even better than we expected! A very clean, surprisingly big and spacious apartment in a location that is perfect for getting around basicly everywhere in NYC. The closest subway station was just a few minutes walk from the apartment and from there you get quickly to Manhattan, Williamsburg, Greenpoint (also other Brooklyn locations) and to our pleasent surprise, the airport. The area itself is very nice, especially south of the apartment. Judy gave us our privacy which suits us Finns :) but made sure that she is available if needed. Her booklet with tips and recomendations was so helpful that we didn't actually need Judy's personal help at all. All and all, maybe the best AirBnB experience so far! 5/5
Jun 27, 2019This was a fantastic find and I feel lucky that it was available for the time that we needed it. The apartment had everything we needed, was walking distance to the subway, nice neighborhood (we felt safe),was clean (no bugs),and was stocked with little things like toilet paper, sugar, spices, olive oil and light breakfast. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly!not intrusive. I had read very good reviews and must say that even with the good reviews, this visit exceeded our expectations.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment is absolutely gorgeous, charming, comfortable, sunny and very calm. The neighbourhood is fantastic with lots of good restaurants and shops, and at walking distance from the Brooklyn bridge and from Prospect Park, and 10 minutes away from Manhattan by subway or taxi. Judy and Alex were very accommodating: We checked in earlier than expected, and were able to leave our luggage on the day we checked out as our flight was in the evening They were also very helpful, recommending great places to eat and to drink. They also provide a very useful guide book of the neighbourhood, with every info you might need. We'll definitely be back !!!

Jun 27, 2019I stayed here with a friend while visiting other friends in Brooklyn. We loved the place and the location!! The apartment is clean and spacious with beautiful minimalist decor. It was actually more space than we needed! :) The bed was comfy and the bathroom/kitchen was stocked with basics like dishes, hairdryer, etc. The location is awesome! Easy walking distance to tons of great restaurants, multiple metro stations, and beautiful neighborhoods. There are grocery stores nearby, too, if you want to stock the fridge. We felt very safe in the apartment and surrounding neighborhood, even at night. Great place!! Judy was easy to contact and checked in on us through text, which was nice. Can't wait to return! :)
Jun 27, 2019I had a really lovely stay at the apartment. Judy helped me to get my suitcases up the stairs when I came and the kitchen had a few snacks and milk so that I didn't have to make an immediate run to the grocery store when I got there. The lightbulb burnt out and I had trouble with the apple tv soon after I got there, and Judy was there within the hour to help me out. She even invited me to the party she was having on Memorial Day (unfortunately I couldn't go!) and was thoughtful enough to check with me about going to work the next day and made sure to wrap things up early so I could go to bed on time. She provided a book with recommendations for places to eat and when she found out my friend is a novelist, emailed recommendations for where to write and meet other authors. I couldn't have asked for a more thoughtful, considerate host, who was always available when I needed her! That said, I didn't need her much at all because the apartment was just perfect. Lots of room and lots of light, and very comfy. I didn't want to leave!

Subway connectivity into Manhattan and the rest of Brooklyn is very good in the area. Super convenient to have a washer and dryer at our disposal, the kitchen was well-equipped. Judy was out of the country for work but Alex was around and made sure everything went smoothly.

Le lit est top: on récupère bien des longues balades... et l'appart est très calme et bien isolé. Pour 2 ou 3 personnes, c'est un lieu parfait tout près en métro de Manhattan ou de Coney Island. Pas mal de restos sympas à qq minutes. Judy et Alex, son mari ont tout fait pour faciliter notre séjour.

Jun 27, 2019Perfect. The area has great character and with lots to offer, we had everything available at our doorstep. Judy was a fantastic host, we didn't get to meet her, but she made sure all our needs were met. She was always available and provided plenty of information when requested. The apartment is lovely, delightfully renovated, impeccably kept with amazing attention to detail. Judy provides a guide/manual of the apartment, where everything is explained from how to work the tv, trash days, cooling system, and lists of restaurants in the vicinity. The kitchen is well equipped, everything you need to make you feel right at home. All the elements (linen, towels etc) provided, everything was in perfect condition. Only comment, a fan or a/c in the bedroom would be good for hot summer nights as the a/c is at the far end of the lounge.
Jun 27, 2019We spent 5 night's at Judy's apartment. We needed the use of the second bedroom, as our 20 year old daughter was joining us for the duration. The second bedroom is separate from the main room and is accessed off the hallway. For us this was no issue at all, but for someone with small children, this may not be a perfect situation. I would like to point out that this is made very clear when you read Judy's description and when you make your booking. The above is the only minor point with the apartment. From the very start of our booking / stay, it was clear that Judy would be a great host. All communication was so quick and helpful. The apartment is spacious, clean and well maintained. The location to the tube station is perfect (2 minute walk). The information left in the apartment is clear and helpful. It would have been nice if there was a guest book for us to leave comments in regarding our stay and findings in the area. It's always nice to be able to see what other guests have done and recommended. But Judy had compiled a list of places to eat and visit. We would highly recommend this apartment without any hesitation and if we returned to Brooklyn, this would be the first place I would check for accommodation. Jun 27, 2019We were glad to have stayed at Judy's spacious apartment for our 8 nights visiting NYC. The space is large and welcoming and very quiet for being so centrally located to both Atlantic Ave & Smith St, Brooklyn and to the subway for a 10 minute ride to lower Manhattan. Judy's communication before and throughout our stay was excellent and informative and she was also very accommodating with holding mail beforehand and a late checkout on our last day. The thoughtful provisioning was also welcomed for our late afternoon arrival meaning we didn't need to rush out and pick up essential supplies as soon as we settled in. Overall, a very easy and pleasant place to call home for an extended stay in New York.
Jun 27, 2019We visited Judy's place with my boyfriend, to have a vacation in NY. My colleague recommended the place, and as it turned out, Judy is an excellent host. The apartment is a gem, the interior is hip & cool, and it's everything you need for a comfy stay in NY & in Brooklyn. The neighborhoods are full of nice restaurants and breakfast cafes, but the apartmen's kitchen is also fully equipped, and there is high-quality food markets nearby if you are interested to cook food by yourself. The metro is very close – it's super easy to navigate everywhere. There's also nice boutiques and outlet stores to do some serious shopping, very nearby. During our stay was quite hot and humid weather, but the air conditioning worked perfectly. The apartment was a perfect place to rest after a full day of exploring the city. Judy was super helpful with all of our questions with restaurant recommendations & helped to manage with our luggage during the check out. It was a perfect, relaxed get-away week in NY, so if you notice this apartment is available during your stay, we can warmly recommend it!

Tiene cerca zonas comerciales y pequeños restaurantes para todos los gustos. Nos alojamos con mi marido y mi hija ocupó el cuarto separado al que se accede desde la escalera, esto fue una gran cosa y le permitió tener cierta independencia. Judy se preocupó todo el tiempo por hacernos sentir cómodos, hasta nos dejó insumos para prepararnos el primer desayuno sabiendo que llegaríamos a la noche. I appreciated the new locks on the doors which didn't cause me sticky key troubles, the double pane windows in the bedroom made it quiet and serene for sleeping. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable bed too. Thank you Judy!!!

The apartment was all we expected and proved a great base for our exploration of New York with great subway access close by. The local area also provided great experiences as well guided by Judy's local recommendations. Having the host so accessible and approachable also provided convenient problem solving potential when needed (printing event tickets) but overall very happy with our first international Airbnb experience. It is also equipped with almost everything you should need for your stay including washing and drying machine. There is a variety of restaurants and eateries to satisfy most pallets in the surrounding areas. In case of emergencies, there is a convenient small bodega that is open 24/7 just across the street. Thank you for the bottle of wine that was left. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

Jun 27, 2019Judy's place is as great, or better, than we had hoped. The little extras Judy provided was excellent - there was coffee, yes and even milk for our son, was very appreciated. We loved having a washer and dryer. It is located very close to several subway stations, making it easy to travel into Manhattan and all over Brooklyn. The building is a quaint brownstone, so there is creaky floors, but we enjoyed its addition to the quaintness of the place. Very close to Brooklyn Tabernacle as well. Couldn't recommend Judy's place high enough.

Jun 27, 2019Beautiful space, wonderful home in a very convenient spot in Brooklyn. Spacious (which is rare in New York), great natural light, super clean. Has everything you'd need, french press, kettle, nice kitchen, big dining room, comfy couch and comfy bed. Nicely decorated and thoughtful too, with all the necessities and plenty of hangers/drawer space. Easy walk to the Barclays, surrounded by markets, coffee shops, stores, and delicious restaurants. Highly recommended, would stay here again if I'm ever in Brooklyn for work again. It's one of the best I've ever stayed in--and I probably book an AirBnB at least once a month! Judy was easy to get in touch with and quick to respond. A+++

She also has a notebook full of info about restaurants they like so the neighborhood and other info about the neighborhood Our flight was delayed and Judy was quick to get back to me about a later check in. Our son lives 2 1/2 blocks from her place and we will definetly rent again

Jun 27, 2019Judy's home was wonderful - just as described, in the perfect location in Brooklyn to get into the city easily, and close to lots of great restaurants and not too far from Prospect park. The apartment itself is lovely, open and airy, very clean and well decorated, super comfy bed, incredibly quiet (the bedroom is on the street side and you can't hear a thing through the noise canceling windows. I stayed with my four month old daughter and it was the perfect space for us for a week. Judy was a top notch host, she was super accommodating from the beginning and was flexible on check out time with us. I would definitely recommend Judy's home if you're visiting the city.

Jul 27, 2019Judy's place was perfect for our stay. It is close to almost every subway line and offers easy access to the LIRR. It was very convenient. Her place was very clean and newly renovated. She was extremely accommodating and even helped us with bags into the place. The washing machine and dryer were a BIG plus for us since we have an active toddler in the summer heat. There are numerous restaurants nearby with very good food. We even participated in restaurant week at a restaurant two blocks away!

It was just the perfect place to begin and end my days during my recent visit with my daughter in Brooklyn. The neighborhood is awesome with everything you need within three blocks walking distance from great pizza to coffee and pastries to organic groceries to public transportation. Judy was super helpful and answered all questions that I could think of. Im already looking forward to my next visit, I will definitely be back!

Viel ruhiger als Manhatten aber trotzdem fußläufig zu vielen interessanten Cafes, Restaurants und Shops. Sehr gute Anbindung zu allen wichtigen UBahn Stationen (zwei davon keine 5min zu Fuß) und zur LondIslandRailway. Judy war für uns immer erreichbar und hat uns viele wertvolle Tipps und Hinweise gegeben. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen!

Jun 27, 2019Our daughter lives in Cobble Hill, only 4 blocks away from this apartment. We came to visit her and our son from Phoenix also joined us. We hadn't been all together in years. This apartment was stylish, roomy, well-stocked, and in a hip area of Brooklyn. We felt so welcomed there. You could tell that it was set up and maintained by people who care. We cooked Italian in the kitchen and had everything we needed as far as utensils, pots, pans, dinnerware, etc. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom and a wonderful washer and dryer that we put to good use. The guidebook was so informative, we didn't have to ask for any further information or suggestions for restaurants, grocery stores and other kinds of shops. The day before we left we received a message from Judy that the cleaning person would get there later and we could checkout later,too, if we'd like. We really hated to leave, but hopefully will get to use it again.

Jun 27, 2019We loved our stay at Judy's place. It was everything we were looking for and more on our visit to NYC. The flat is spacious and bright. My fiance and I were really able to stretch out and relax. We really felt at home on our short stay, having our tea in the mornings and even making dinner one night when we were too pooped to go out. We were surprised how quiet it was, as well; Judy's husband mentioned that they had super insulating windows. The neighborhood is lovely, as well, with numerous neat independant shops and cafes within walking distance. Close to subways, too, which made it convenient to get to and from the city. We would definitely want to stay here again next time we visit.

Jun 27, 2019Ottima sistemazione per famiglie in zona tranquilla e completa di tutti i servizi, a pochi minuti di metro da downtown Manhattan e a 15 minuti a piedi dal ponte di Brooklyn. Judy è gentilissima e la casa rispecchia fedelmente la descrizione. Consigliatissima!
Jun 27, 2019Judy's place was fantastic. It is located very close to numerous transit options, and there is a ton of good food nearby. The space itself is cozy, and Judy did a fantastic job with furnishing a very comfortable apartment. It really felt like I was in my own home (or more accurately, a nicer version of it), transported to NYC. Judy was also very accommodating both with early check-in's and late check-outs. I would recommend Judy's home to anyone!

Jun 27, 2019Well located spacious apartment with a very comfortable bed. Good appliances including dishwasher, washer and drier. Although in a busy area, there was very little noise in the apartment. Communication with Judy was easy and check in and out went smoothly. Very convenient for Atlantic Avenue and the Boerum Hill neighbourhood with its local shops and restaurants, as well as for several subway lines into Manhattan.
Jun 27, 2019Judy's place is clean, comfortable and spacious with a well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Located in a great neighbourhood that is centrally located and convenient to abundant grocery, shopping and restaurant options, all within easy walking distance. The closest subway station is a two minute walk away and gets you into Manhattan quickly and easily. Overall the apartment surpassed our expectations and we hope to return again soon.

Jun 27, 2019Very nice spatious appartment. Very quiet on a side street of a busy Avenue (Atlantic). Windows on the front side with double glazing isolate very well from the noise. The back side is on a garden witch is very quiet. Judy is great. She is very helpful. Helped us kindly when we needed an adaptor. Fixed a problem with a smoke detector immediately. Gave us some good tips. Our daughter slept in the small bedroom next to the appartment. It was very convenient. The appartment is well equipped and clean. The big bed was very comfortable. Metro to Manhattan is not far away, about 20 min walk. The area of the appartment in Brooklyn is nice. Lots of shops and some restaurants.

Jun 27, 2019Fantastic apartment! Spacious, high ceilings, comfortable, nice furnishings, comfortable bed, well appointed, bright, clean, and cheerful. It was an all around wonderful experience. Communication with Judy was perfect. It's located so close to everything, yet still very quiet thanks to the double windows on the street side. And in the evenings you can open up windows in the front and the back and get a great breeze through the apartment. It was 90 degrees when we visited, and we didn't even need to turn on the AC. (And Judy was even so kind as to check in on us and make sure the apartment was comfortably cool on the hottest days - much appreciated!). And a HUGE bonus to have a washer and dryer in the unit! We hope to be back again!

Jun 27, 2019The apartment at 82 Bond was just right for us- and exactly as advertised. Excellent location near Atlantic Ave in the heart of Boerum Hill. The place was roomy for NY and easily accommodated us for 4 nights. It was nice to have the extra small bedroom to use as a luggage storer, and extra crash pad when my son showed up. The building is quiet and the apartment itself was well furnished and clean. It was a super hot weekend in NYC, so the A/C wa working overtime, but Sasha brought down a dehumidifier to help. Kitchen and bathroom were spacious and had all the essentials. Judy was so nice to provide us some local tips, and restaurants nearby. Building on Bond is a great place for coffee a block away, and the Brooklyn Fare market is right around the corner- very good selections of everything. We would stay again for sure. Thank you !

Judy is an exceptional host who was really helpful with advice on local places, best way to get to airport and even where to watch the World Cup! Strongly recommended
Jun 27, 2019Nice space, Great location, close to all subway lines. Very helpful owners. No coffee pot only a french press! Coffee houses close by. Cooking pots and pans and utensils need upgrading. But if you don't plan on eating in this unit is great. Very quiet and AC is a plus.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment is great; clean and comfortable. There is an airco and ceiling ventilator which was really necessary during the hot days in July. The beds were good and comfortable. Enough towels and in the kitchen all kinds of basics, like oil, tea, sucre etc. It was like coming home after a long day in the city. Area is quiet and enough restaurants, shops and take a ways in case you do not want to go to the "big city" in the evening. We loved our stay!
Jul 27, 2019This place is amazing! The space is beautiful and super close to everything. The subway is right around the corner. We ended up using the city bikes that were down the street almost everyday! Super clean and bright space. Will be back!
Jun 27, 2019We stayed here for a few nights while visiting relative, who also live in Brooklyn. The place is great, although up a flight of stairs. Check in was easy, communication with our hosts was smooth. Easy few minute walk to a couple of nearby subway stops, stores, restaurants. I’d recommend it.
Jun 27, 2019We stayed at Judy's place for 6 nights to attend our niece's wedding in August. The weather was in the 90s and the window air-condioning unit was not working well. We tried to stay away as much as possible to avoid the heat, but nights were miserable. Judy kindly went out and bought a fan for which helped a little. Apartment was generally acceptable otherwise, but not outstanding.

Judy and Alex were charming and attentive hosts. It was the second time we'd been staying at Judy's and Alex's place. In French we say: " Jamais deux sans trois".....

Jun 27, 2019The Boerum Hill flat was exactly what I needed for a week in Brooklyn. The space was EXTREMELY clean and the location could not be beat. The neighborhood is darling and very central to multiple subway lines and citibike docking stations. The flat was much better value than a hotel room for the same price. Judy was super helpful with questions I had, along with fast communication. Thank you!

Jun 27, 2019I would not recommend staying here. The neighborhood is a bit hurting, and the restaurants are not appealing. The place is spacious and clean, but the decor could use an upgrade. It is close to the subway, which is good....because quite frankly, you won’t be wanting to spend any time in Boerum Hill

Jun 27, 2019We stayed at Judy’s place over the thanksgiving holiday and hosted thanksgiving dinner for 6 adults and 2 children while there. The apartment is very comfortable, great bed, updated bathroom with great shower/tub and updated kitchen. Located in a wonderful neighborhood in Brooklyn with easy access to lots of restaurants and shops. And while the bedroom faces the street the windows were doubled for soundproof and we found it very quiet for New York. We highly recommend the Judy’s place.

Check in was easy and Judy had some great advice for local places to eat which are only a short walk away. There is also a small grocery store nearby which had everything we needed. Easy access to subway. Would love to stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019What a great time in Brooklyn! The apt is located in a beautiful and extremely quite neighborhood with grocery stores, restaurants, subway, etc all nearby (Downtown Manhattan just 10 minutes via subway). Judy & Alex are great hosts! Would love to stay at their apt again some time.
