There is also a common grassed area just beneath the apartment with views of the Harbour Bridge as well which is excellent for picnics. This is unique part of Sydney to stay in - quiet and safe but with plenty to do, right by the Harbour and within minutes of the CBD. I lived in the apartment for four years, and I absolutely loved waking up to a beautiful Sydney sunrise and the Harbour Bridge, and then watching the sparkling harbour from the comfort of the couch. There are a number of beautiful harbourside parks nearby with excellent views, and Kirribilli Village is just a 7 minute walk away. Here you will find a number of excellent restaurants, cafes, bars and shops (including an excellent boutique Choclatier), as well as the wonderful Kirribilli Markets (on every second weekend), Luna Park, and award winning restaurants such as Garfish (excellent seafood), The Botanist (great cocktails), Batch (fantastic burgers), Street Market (great Asian Tapas style restaurant) Cool Mac (great Japanese fusion cafe) and Ripples Milsons Point - perfect for a casual meal under the Harbour Bridge. There will be basic provisions in the apartment for you upon your arrival, as well as instructions for the apartment and a guide of things to do/places to eat nearby/in Sydney. Obviously all linen, kitchen items, iron/ironing board and whatever else you need for your stay are provided - just make sure to let us know if you will require the sofa bed so we have all the linen ready. There are a number of unique artworks decorating the apartment of harbour scenes from the surrounding area by a local artist which are for sale - if you’re interested, let us know!

You can get to the city by ferry, bus or train: North Sydney Ferry Wharf - 400 metres Milsons Point Train Station - 650 metres Bus to CBD (direct to York St, no stops) - 280 metres The Ferry Trip to Circular Quay from North Sydney Wharf is stunning - a 15 minute trip over and a 10 minute trip back. From Milsons Point Train Station (7 minute walk), you are one station (a 4 minute train ride across the bridge) from Wynyard Station, Town Hall (8 minutes) or Central (12 minutes). From Kirribilli/Milsons Point you can also access the public stairs to walk across the Harbour Bridge to The Rocks. The trip to and from Sydney Airport by Train takes 30 minutes, or a Taxi is roughly 15 minutes.
