Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral an einer kleineren Strasse sehr ruhig. Die Wohnung ist sehr nett eingerichtet. Es hat uns gut gefallen.
Jun 27, 2019Apartamento cómodo e ben equipado. Moi ben situado. Pudemos aparcar o coche diante da casa. Vista preciosa da catedral e a ribeira. A calefacción son dous radiadores polo que o primeiro dia pasamos un pouco de frio pero despois a temperatura era agradable. Rosa foi moi amable.
Jun 27, 2019El apartamento de Rosa es magnífico para conocer Oporto. Amplio, bonito, limpio y bien cuidado. Incluso mejor de lo que aparece en las fotos. Desde la terraza se puede ver toda la ciudad. La ubicación es muy centrica, al lado de la Torre de los Clérigos y muy cerca del barrio de Ribiera. Además Rosa estuvo pendiente de nuestra llegada y nos guardó un sitio para aparcar justo enfrente del apartamento. Muy recomendable.

Jun 27, 2019Nous avons été très bien reçu chez Rosa. L appartement est situé tout prêt de la torre de clerigos, la vue est très sympa. L appartement est propre et spacieux. Rosa ne parle pas anglais, mais il y a tjs quelq un avec elle qui le parle, donc aucun prblm de communication.

Jun 27, 2019El piso era exactamente como aparece en las fotos (incluso más grande de lo que nos imaginábamos). Todo estaba limpio y bien cuidado. Rosa fue muy amable en todo momento, nos estaba esperando cuando llegamos y se ofreció a guardar nuestras maletas por si queríamos seguir haciendo turismo el día que dejamos el piso. Las vistas desde el balcón son impresionantes (sobre todo al amanecer). ¡Una experiencia totalmente recomendable! The flat was exactly as shown in the pictures (even bigger than we expected). Everything was clean and in a perfect state. Rosa was very kind and she offered to keep our luggage the day we left the flat so we could keep visiting the city without worries. The views are amazing (mostly when the sun rises). A great experience for us!
Jun 27, 2019Le logement est conforme à l'annonce et à nos attentes . Une coupe de fruit , quelques chocolats et du vin de porto était mis a notre disposition a notre arrivée . Tous les équipements sont en excellent état et la literie très confortables . Le quartier est calme . L'appartement est idéalement situé pour ceux qui veulent découvrir le centre de Porto . Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour. :-)
Jun 27, 2019Wir sind gegen 19:00Uhr - nach kurzer Fahrt mit der Metro vom Flughafen und einem schönen Spaziergang von ca 15 Minuten von Bahnhof Bento - sehr herzlich von Rosa und Ihrem Enkelsohn empfangen worden. Ihr Enkel spricht Englisch, somit gab es keine Verständigungsprobleme. Er zeigte uns auch die sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete große Wohnung, die wirklich keine Wünsche offen ließ. Ein gefüllter Obstteller hätte uns satt gemacht. Die Wohnung liegt jedoch so zentral, dass es nur ein paar Schritte zu mehreren Restaurants bedurfte. Begeistert waren wir vom herrlichen Ausblick auf die Stadt Porto, die wir sofort lieb gewannen. Alles in Allem waren es schöne 10 Tage die wir im Haus von Rosa verbringen durften. Obrigada !
Jun 27, 2019It was great experience. The road way to apartment was quite steep. However, it was totally worthy. The view was perfect and every equipment and supply were brand new. Also, the location was good. It's just next to torre de clerigos and quite close from Sao Bento station. Completely suggested.
Jun 27, 2019Amazing apartment in the heart of Porto! The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and near all the activities we wanted to do but still secluded enough to feel like a home. Highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Porto. Our hosts were also extremely helpful and gracious, responding quickly and efficiently to our inquiries. 5 stars.
Jun 27, 2019Rosa's place is beautiful!!! Very well cared for, and clean, this was one of the nicest places I stayed at in Portugal. It also has a quite incredible view!! Communication can take a little longer, but it's not a problem at all if you're expecting it.

J'ai passé un week-end hyper relax, car j'étais comme à la maison, avec ce soupçon d'exceptionnel qu'offre la terrasse. La situation est idéale. Merci, à bientôt, je l'espère.
Jun 27, 2019We had a lovely time in Rosa's apartment. It was completely as described. The balcony is the main selling point. Centrally located, easy to walk around to places. Rosa was very flexible with our late checking in and out times, for which we are grateful.
Jun 27, 2019Exactly as pictured but the photo's don't do it justice. Fabulous view of the old town rooftops, River, cathedral, train station, Clerigo tower. Close to nightlife, Lello bookstore, shopping. Perfect location! The apartment is wonderful! Although Rosa doesn't speak English we communicated with a bit of sign language and her Son and grandson (both named Paulo spoke perfect English). Her grandson even helped carry up my heavy bags. The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, coffee, tea, a full bowl of fruit, bottles of water and even small bottles of port greeted us upon arrival. Wow! We were treated like royalty! Their suggestion for dinner our first night at Arvore restaurant 5 doors up the street for traditional Portuguese food was fantastic. Probably the best meal we had in Portugal. The food was fantastic! Thanks to our waiter Angelo's suggestions. Wow! I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend! Thank you so much Rosa and family! I hope to someday return to Porto and Casa Rosa is the only place I would want to stay! Perfect!

Jun 27, 2019This was my favorite Airbnb I have stayed in so far. The apartment is spacious and the terrace views are amazing. The apartment was very clean and near the Livraria Lello. Porto is a beautiful and friendly city and this apartment was a gem to stay in while we were there. Rosa is a wonderful host and her apartment is highly recommended for a stay in Porto.
Jun 27, 2019The house is in an excellent location. It's easy to go down to the riverside and eat at some good restaurants. The apartment was beautiful and very clean. It has a special balcony with an amazing panoramic view of the terracotta roves and cathedrals along with the river. Rosa met us at the door and is extremely friendly and kind. We didn't speak the same language but she definitely went out of her way to make us feel at home. We would definitely recommend this place. And would go back and stay there again.

Jun 27, 2019Rosa and her grandson were very welcoming and he kindly helped us up the stairs with our suitcases. She is a very friendly lady and Rosa's son was able to interpret her recommendations for beaches and places to visit. The apartment is beautiful and has everything you need for cooking although we didn't cook much while we were there. The view from the terrace is absolutely gorgeous and it's the perfect place for breakfast and drinks in the evening. The bed is very comfortable as is the couch. There is another beautiful viewpoint at the end of the street and a small cafe with a friendly owner to buy water and snacks. Less than a 5 minute walk away you have cafes, restaurants and bakeries. The river front is only ten minutes away and you are very well located for all the tourist sites. The only disadvantage of this location is there isn't somewhere closer to buy fresh food and ingredients if you want to cook- there is a shop for basic goods about 5 minutes away but it's about a 15minute walk to the nearest supermarket (there may be one closer though we did check the internet). However our experience of the apartment was extremely positive and we would recommend to others. Thank you Rosa for a lovely stay! :)

Jun 27, 2019We had a great stay at Rosa's place, which is a beautiful mix of modern furnishings in a traditional setting (with high ceilings and huge windows), in addition to being absolutely spotless. Not to mention the view from the balcony, which is gorgeous! Everything was as described or better (such as the numerous TV channels and the super-comfortable bed). The fruit, water, coffee and small bottles of Porto were also greatly appreciated! Rosa is a great (and very available) host, who welcomed us and kept our suitcases on the last day until we left for the airport. We had no difficulties whatsoever, even if we do not speak Portuguese, as her son and Joana, who promptly answered our emails and met us to discuss restaurants and things to do/see in Porto, were available and very helpful. A great place and highly recommended!
Jun 27, 2019Un séjour parfait avec une hôte très sympathique. La vue de la terrasse est tout simplement extraordinaire pour prendre son petit déjeuner ou boire une bière. La position de l'appartement est parfaite pour visiter porto, situé à proximité de la plupart des monuments historiques à voir ainsi que des restaurants. L'appartement est bien équipé avec tout ce qu'il fait pour se faire à manger, étant resté une semaine nous avons même eu droit à une femme de ménage au milieu du séjour. On ne peut que recommander chaudement cet appartement pour passer un bon sejour ☺
Jun 27, 2019Great place in Oporto Well located place close to everything you want to see. Excellent communication and easy checkin and check out. Very close to some non-touristy areas. If you arrive with large luggage, take a cab from the metro station - it's a long walk up hill.

Jun 27, 2019Man muss mit Rosa beginnen: Ihre Freundlichkeit, ihr Lachen und ihr Lächeln sind ein wunderbarer Willkommensgruss. Man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause und wohl. Das durchgehend. Die Wohnung ist supersauber und angenehm gemütlich( es gibt auch deutsches Fernsehen auf einem komfortablen LG ,wenn man will). Und da sie nur von Gästen bewohnt wird, ist sie auf angenehmste Weise neutral. Der Blick vom Balkon erfreut bei Tag und Nacht( Illumination der Kathedrale und....). Dazu das unablässige Konzert der Möven, an das man sich schnell gewöhnt. Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt, um in Porto in alle Richtungen zu Fuss auszuschwärmen. Man muss natürlich immer ein wenig die Steigungen bezwingen, zumal die erste vom Bahnhof mit Gepäck (hier hätte ich mir ein Taxi gewünscht, aber die Fahrt mit der Metro vom Flughafen ist recht einfach und kostet 2.45 Euro) . Aber das ist Porto und -wie ich jetzt weiss- auch in Lissabon noch mehr. Ich hoffe, ich komme wieder nach Porto. Noch mehr hoffe ich, dass dann Rosas Wohnung frei sein wird. Danke, Rosa!
Jun 27, 2019Rosa nous a bien accueilli. Bien qu'il y ait le défi de langue ( Rosa parle juste Portuguais ) elle nous a offert le soutien de ces garçons qui parlent Anglais . L 'appartement est splendide et très bien situé. La vue arrière est époustouflante. Nous vous reccomandons vivement ce logement pour un séjour réussi à Porto

She was a very sweet lady and incredibly welcoming. The apartment is the perfect place for a long or short stay in Porto. Perfect location, very up to date apartment and a magnificent balcony view. We were more than pleased with our stay with Rosa.

Jun 27, 2019Rosa & Paulo welcomed me extremely friendly. Paulo carried my suitcase up the stairs (what a gentleman!). The place could not have been cleaner. Shiny tiles everywhere, typical Portugese decorations and a very inviting bed. Fresh fruits on the table, as well as chocolates and two tiny bottles of Port, bottles of water and even a dish with different kinds of tea and Nespresso coffee. And then I opened the door to the balcony and saw this amazing view on the old city centre. WOUH! During my stay (5 days) I spent several hours at the balcony just wondering how every I time I watched, the scenery had changed. Sunrise, sunset, fog, flocks of seagull, cats hunting birds, all accompanied by distant trumpet music from the trumpenist at the cathedral. The nearby living typical Portuguese rooster announcing sunrise added extra charm to my stay at Rosa's.

Jun 27, 2019Rosa's apartment was immaculate! Located in a historic building with tons of charm. Her son was there to greet us and he was very friendly. The apartment was within walking distance of everything. Porto has lots of hills so you can't avoid that. And this apartment has some stairs, so overall you get a great workout! Also the view from here is a-ma-zing!

Jun 27, 2019Check in was very smooth- a member of Rosa`s family even carried my bag up the stairs. The apartment was extremely clean and spacious. The view was sensational. Bottles of water, coffee, fruit, chocolates and port were an added bonus. After exploring Porto everyday it was fantastic to sit on the balcony eat tapas and drink Sangrias! Totally recommended

Jun 27, 2019Rosa was on the doorstep waiting to meet us - smiling and welcoming. She couldn't speak english, we couldn't speak portuguese but it didn't matter! Her son Paula took us to the apartment which was just lovely. Overlooking Porto. Gorgeous views day and night and in the perfect location for all the sights, cafes and restaurants. Added bonus was being in an old style house with character. Thank you Rosa and all the best to you and your family.

We had such a good stay, thanks to rosa and the family, wich provided everything we needed and more! the app is big and even better then the photos, really felt like a 5 star hotel! the view was amazing! the location is fantastic! we where so close to everything which was very importent because of the rainy weather. they where so wellcoming! even saved us a parking spot! thanks so much! Jun 27, 2019Die Lage war toll und die Aussicht einmalig! Wir könnten alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen. Rosa und ihr Sohn haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen obwohl wir erst nach Mitternacht da waren. Alles war sehr sauber und die Wohnung war ruhig.
Jun 27, 2019El apartamento está muy buen situado, las vistas como dice el resto de gente que ha estado son geniales. Tema aparcamientos en la calle es complicado aunque por la mañana es más fácil. Nos se os ocurra aparcar si no queréis crujidita en el parking al lado De la Torre de los clérigos. La taberna que está unos metros por encima del apartamento genial por si vais mal de tiempo. Rosa estupenda y su apartamento cumple con las expectativas ampliamente. Para repetir en próximas ocasiones.

The place was clean and well equipped with even a few lovely touches such as port wine, fruit, water and chocolate. Communication and check in was great, Rosa's son greeted us and carried our bags up the stairs where we were welcomed with the amazing view on the balcony. Overall our stay here was perfect. Jun 27, 2019Such a well-appointed apartment. Everything is so close by, so you can walk everywhere. The 601/602 bus from the airport stops at the top of the road. The apartment is really well equipped with lots of space in the living room for those moments when you've done just too much walking. Nice extra touches - pods for the Nespresso, a bowl of fruit, little chocs and two minds Ports on arrival. And to top it all, a brilliant view over to the Sè and the river. We'd book here again if going to Porto.

Jun 27, 2019My partner and I had a fantastic time in Porto and loved staying at Rosa's place. The apartment was just like we had expected from the pictures, except the rooms were bigger in real life than they looked in the pictures. Rosa and her son were helpful and friendly. The location is AMAZING. It's very central but also quiet, and easy walking distance to everything. The only slight disappointment we had was that there was no shampoo or shower gel provided. We'd interpreted 'Essentials' with the towel symbol to imply that bathroom essentials would be provided. But obviously that's no big deal - there are lots of local shops. I'd definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Jun 27, 2019This is a great accomodation in the heart of Porto! Very central near Sao Bento train station, Lello's, Clerigos Tower and Praca Liberdade. And with a direct view to the cathedral (Se). The flat itself is very clean and well looked after. There's everything you'd need, a living room, two bedrooms, two baths, a kitchen and a balcony. We felt very much at home. Rosa and her son Paolo welcomed us, even though it was well past midnight when we arrived and Rosa even cooked some portugese snacks for us. Paolo was always ready to help when we had questions or needed tips.
Jun 27, 2019My sister, friend, and I had a great stay at Rosa's! The location could not have better, and waking up to that view was amazing. We arrived late at night and Rosa and her grandson were there to let us in. Rosa is very sweet and lives on the bottom floor of the beautiful apartment building if you ever need anything. The apartment itself was as pictured. The sofa pulls out into a sofa bed. Rosa provided coffee, tea, port, and fruit. Bring your own shampoo and soap (there is a farmacy very close by to get these things as well). Overall, we had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend!

Jun 27, 2019We found ourselves literally at home just as we crossed the threshold. The flight was a late one, we were very tired when we reached the flat after midnight. And we were greeted with hot tasty pies and wine on the table in the living room. The fridge was filled with products enough for a reach breakfast and water to drink. The flat is clean and cozy, with a marvelous view of Porto. It contains everything that may be necessary. And even if you lack something you just go down to donna Rosa and she gladly helps you. These were two remarkable weeks in the finest city. Cause when you live at donna Rosa’s – you live in a home where you’re taken care of, where they are happy to receive you. Мы почувствовали себя дома прямо с порога. Рейс был поздний, перелёт утомительный, мы добрались до квартиры после полуночи. А на столе в гостиной нас ожидали горячие вкусные пирожки и вино. В холодильнике – продукты для плотного завтрака и вода. Квартира чистая и уютная, с великолепным видом на Порту, укомплектованная всем необходимым. А если вдруг чего-то не хватает, достаточно спуститься к донне Розе, и она с радостью поможет. Это были две замечательные недели в красивейшем городе. Потому что жить у донны Розы – значит жить в доме, где тебе рады, где заботятся.

Rosa was very sweet with a warm smile and left us some port, fruit and waters, which was very welcoming and she had no issue with minding our bags after checkout. Rosa's grandson was also very helpful in translating and assisting us with luggage. Would happily stay again and would recommend to friends!
Jun 27, 2019Rosa's apartment is a wonderful choice from which to experience Porto. The first thing we noticed is how immaculately clean the apartment was. The location was perfect to enjoy the heart of the downtown area of Porto without being in too much of a "touristy" spot. Rosa adds nice personal touches by having chocolates and small bottles of Port awaiting your arrival. Be prepared for lots of walking and a ton of stairs while exploring Porto!

Jun 27, 2019Rosa & her family are very friendly & welcoming & if you have any questions or need anything they will help sort it out for you. The apartment is perfect & full of character. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable bed & the view from the apartment is amazing. The bathroom has a shower over the bath but you are unable to put paper down the toilet. There is another conventional flushing toilet off the balcony. The apartment is in a good location in a quiet side street off the tourist trail. Easy access to good restaurants, a lovely bakery, mini supermarket & approx 7 mins walk to Sao Bento station. We were able to store our luggage with Rosa once we had checked out & she organised a taxi for us to the airport. We would definitely recommend this apartment. Thank you Rosa
Jun 27, 2019Stop looking around and just book this place. Centrally located with Clerigos on one side and an overlook and stairs down towards the river on the other. Great balcony. Clean and spacious and everything worked. On top of all this, Rosa is a sweetheart.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment is lovely, with everything we needed and more. The location is fantastic. The apartment is super clean and well presented, the whole building is the same. Rosa and Paolo greeted us and were so friendly. We would definitely recommend this apartment to a couple. With the sofa bed and second bathroom it could easily accomodate 4 people. The apartment is up hill from the town, in a lovely area with lots of restaurants etc. It's on the second floor with no lift so it wouldn't suit everyone. But we thought it was great.
Jun 27, 2019We had such a great time staying at Rosa's apartment. The location is very central; you can easily walk anywhere in the city from there, but it was also nice and quiet. It's easy to get to the apartment from the airport using the metro (or a cheap uber ride) and there is a supermarket 5 minutes walk away. Rosa was a delightful host and Joana and Eloi always communicated very promptly with us and helped us out when needed during our trip. The facilities in the apartment were good - a great shower, comfy bed, wifi and a well equipped kitchen (the balcony has a lovely view over the city, so we enjoyed eating in on a couple of evenings) and it was immaculately clean. We would thoroughly recommend staying here if you visit Porto!

The apartment is beautiful, super clean, and has amazing views. She even left us wine, chocolate, and fruit. I'd highly recommend staying here!

Inside toilet is "paper free" which is not a problem because of an additional bathroom on the balcony. No air con but apartment is really cool and has a fan provided.Chocolates, fruit and port waiting on arrival. Generally quiet but occasional noise from upstairs. Loved it and sad to leave.
Jun 27, 2019Wonderful location and flat. It had everything we needed and was in close proximity to all the places we wanted to go. Rosa and her family were fantastic and went above and beyond when they helped us locate our car that had been towed because we were careless. Can't thank them enough. I was a little concerned about the lack of air conditioning in the apartment, but we opened the balcony windows in the evening and that kept it cool. It was perfect and we will definitely be returning.

The apartment met, and surpassed, our expectations (the view is amazing) and really couldn't be situated in a better place for access to all areas of the city. Check in was seamless even though I arrived a bit earlier than expected. Porto is a brilliant place to visit and I'm sure we'll be back - probably to Rosa's again! x

It was a wonderful way to start and end each day with coffee and wine, respectively. Love the little park around the corner and it's very close to Livraria Lello. Rosa was very sweet and accommodating.

The bed was very comfortable and the space was quiet so after a busy day we were guaranteed a great night sleep. We appreciated the spaciousness of the flat and it was well appointed and spotlessly clean. We would definitely come back!

Then there were the delightful little touches like mini bottles of port and a stocked fruit basket. I'm not sure I've ever stayed at an AirBnB so spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

The apartment is fantastic, a gorgeous and spacious flat with tiled floors and filled with thoughtful amenities (coffee, fresh fruit, chocolates). The small balcony affords lots of light and a phenomenal view over the city - a great place to enjoy morning coffee or a nightcap. The convenience of the location was key, being situated on a quaint and quiet side street, while still very close to the active waterfront area as well as many great restaurants and bars. We felt so comfortable and at home here and wish we could have stayed longer! Check in and check out were very easy and Rosa and her family were kind and helpful. It is spacious and modern with a great view of the river and in a great location for moving around Porto. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. I will definitely book here again on my next trip!

Jun 27, 2019We had a great time at Rosa's place during our 3 days in Porto and would highly recommend to everyone! The apartment is centrally located and walking distance from all the major attractions. Joana & Eloi's were in contact with everything we needed to know and Rosa was so lovely to hold onto our bags for our whole final day while we went around sampling port. The apartment was immaculately clean with an outstanding view over the city and Rosa was also very kind in providing us coffee, chocolates and some miniature bottles of port. We'll definitely be back to Porto and would love to stay at Rosa's place again!

Unfortunately she doesn't speak English so communication was minimal but we messaged beforehand about logistics through a property manager. Only minor nitpicks were lack of shampoo and a slightly odd smell from the kitchen but otherwise it was a great stay.

A five minute walk from the train station. Add to that the warmest welcome when you arrive, miniature Port bottles and chocolates and a bowl of fruit - five star treatment at half the price! Thoroughly recommended.
Jun 27, 2019Nos fuimos muy contentos de allí, el piso esta tal cual se ve en las fotos, todo muy limpio y agradable. Las vistas son estupendas y la terraza aunque es pequeña invita a sentarte y pasar un rato admirando la ciudad. Cuando llegamos hacia un poco de frio, las habitaciones son grandes y solo tiene dos radiadores pero con una manta mas para dormir no hay mayor problema. La ducha funcionó perfectamente así como el resto de electrodomésticos de la casa. Lo único a destacar es el tema del aparcamiento, es difícil encontrar un sitio libre y ademas puedes tener problemas de robos por la noche, lo mejor es dejar el coche en el parking cercano(20€/dia) y evitar disgustos.

Jun 27, 2019Rosa's place is perfectly located in the heart of the old town where there is lots to see and do. Rosa is a lovely welcoming and helpful lady, she does not speak English but will go the extra mile to ensure that despite the language barrier you are provided with the information you need. The property would be difficult for anyone who has difficulty climbing stairs. But the view at the rear from the apartment balcony is lovely, especially at night when the town is illuminated. The apartment had everything we could need with lots of space, a nice cosy bed room, fully equipped kitchen, bath and shower over. Large lounge and dining room offers plenty of space. Despite the location we found the apartment to also be private and quiet until the morning when the local Cockerel crows. We would highly recommend for anyone staying in Porto, we will return.

It was a walk to the city center and a very easy one! It was also a short walk down to the riverfront. Our stay was perfect. The place was immaculately clean, comfortable, and spacious! Communication was very good before the check-in and the apartment was in perfect state. We even had fresh fruits and two little bottles of Porto as a welcome pack. The apartment comes equipped with a Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine and tea is provided. All the necessary for cooking is provided as well.

Hosts provided recommendations for restaurants upon our request and also helped us with figuring out the best transport options. We had a great stay here and would consider staying here again if we visit Porto in the future!

Just up the hill from the riverfront and all the tourist fun there, so it’s not noisy at night but just a quick stroll down some steps to many restaurants and the bridge where you can cross and stroll further for port wine tastings at all Porto’s historic port houses. Good communication, comfortable space with no complaints - there is everything you might need provided here including an espresso maker, hot water kettle, and microwave. - We loved sipping port on the balcony at night and watching the birds.

Jun 27, 2019The apartment was perfect for our stay in Porto. Very central and close to bars and restaurants though at the same time in a quiet residential street. We ate in the restaurant just yards from the apartment, avoiding a walk in an unfortunate rain shower, and it was lovely. Easy access down to the river or a short 2 min walk to Clerigos Tower and all the attractions round there. Location ideal. Apartment was spotlessly clean and the port wine on arrival a nice touch. The balcony giving a view of Clerigos, the Cathedral, the monastery and the river was a real bonus both at day and night. Would recommend a stay here when visiting Porto. Communication with host very good from booking onwards.

It is clean and very comfortable, the view from the balcony is wonderful, all the main sights are in easy walking distance (I particularly recommend Jardins do Palácio de Cristal, a 10 minute walk away with superb views) but it is lovely and quiet at night. There are fabulous bakeries and a mini supermarket very nearby. We loved the welcome gifts of port, chocolate and fruit. It is even easy to get to (an airport bus stops at the top of the road). Access and communication was excellent. We hope to return!

Rosa and her grandson were very helpful, and very accommodating as we had arrived to the airBnB earlier than scheduled. Everything was walking distance, there is a free parking very close, a supermarket, a coffeeshop, a small dep... anything you need is just a few steps away. The walk to the port is a short and beautiful one too ! We had a great time and absolutely no complaints - would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes to live in the heart of a city, without having to worry about any noise at night.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. Rosa's grandson even carried one of our suitcases up the stairs. The apartment was spotless, with gorgeous views from the large windows that open to a balcony. Nice touches included complementary bottles of port wine, chocolates, and water. Rosa also lives in the building, and let us store her luggage at her place on the last day so we could extend our stay a bit. She doesn't speak English, but she was really warm and friendly, and we loved chatting with her in our very bad Portuguese. Highly recommend this place!
Jun 27, 2019We had a great time staying at Rosa’s apartment. It was in a great location, very spacious and had a great view - just as advertised. We really appreciated that Rosa left out bottles of water, fruit, chocolates, and coffee & tea for us. It was also very nice of her to let us leave our suitcases in her apartment for a few hours after check-out, since our flight home wasn’t until the evening. Overall we highly recommend staying at Rosa’s!

Jun 27, 2019We loved our time at Rosa's spacious apartment! The bed was comfortable with freshly ironed sheets, we loved the large comfortable couch for resting up after a day out and we enjoyed throwing open the doors onto the terrace to take in the sights. Rosa left us a little port, water and coffee capsules to enjoy. Her apartment is in an interesting area of Oporto and we highly recommend our favourite breakfast haunt a couple of minutes away (we got takeaways) called Muralhas.
Jun 27, 2019Amazing place to stay close to the center of it all. Everything from Livraria Lello bookstore to the Riberia and all of the great places to eat in between were less than a 10 minute walk. The views though from the balcony were outstanding - better than anything you can find in the rest of the city. Go to this place you won’t regret it.

Sitting in your airy, bright, spacious living room, eating some fruit, sipping port, hearing seagulls outside your window, looking at the city from above. Perfection. Super recommended. Jun 27, 2019This apartment is in a fantastic position in Porto, what an amazing view from the balcony! Our communication with Rosa and her grandson Joana was brilliant all the way from booking to leaving. The apartment is absolutely spotless and it was a real pleasure to stay there. We had a very comfy bed and excellent wifi. The apartment is very quiet and no problems with noise at nights. Its in a great situation, on a side road but right in the heart of the city. The national photography museum is on the corner and well worth visiting. Porto is a great place and this is a great place to stay.

Jun 27, 2019Rosa’s apartment was sparkling clean with nice little touches and her grandson even helped us with the luggage up the stairs. The view from the terrace is amazing, you woke up to the sound of seagulls and the sunrise in front. The place is amazingly located, half a block away there is an overlook and it’s 10 minutes to the river and many other attractions. The bedroom was comfy and dark so you sleep really well. Rosa is very nice, she helped us with luggage at the end too. Overall good experience, we recommend it.

Close to downtown Porto, everything is in walking distance. Parking is nearby as well and Rosa will provide lots of helpful details for checking-in and discovering the city. Pros: great location, clean, full kitchen (Oven, stove, toaster, pots, pans, etc), inside and outside the bathroom, great views. Cons: A couple of steep hills to walk up to get there if taking the Metro.

Jun 27, 2019Rosa's place is the perfect place to stay if you want to visit Porto! I've never stayed in an AIRBNB before that was this clean. The entire building is immaculate and so full of charm. The view from the balcony was even more amazing than expected. Rosa's place is perfect if you are wanting to explore an old European town on foot without all the trappings of a tourist destination like Rome or Barcelona. There are so many historic sites hidden around corners and alleyways plus a good amount of places to eat and shop. You go one direction and you are already in the historic Jewish district district where you can virtually walk in any direction and happen upon historic churches, squares or walk across the bridge to look out at both sides of river. Go a block or so in the other direction and you have the retail district filled with shops, restaurants etc. As for the apartment itself, the master bedroom was private and a pretty good size even with multiple suitcases in various spots. We could hear the occasional footsteps upstairs but nothing too much to interrupt sleep or privacy. The leather sofa seemed new and had a sofa bed that our children voted to be the best they've ever slept on. The kitchen had everything we needed and everything was in working order. We were only in Porto for two days which was terribly short for a city with so much to see and do. Rosa's place was a great place for a family of four to stay in while on vacation in Porto.
Jun 27, 2019The landlord Rosa is very kind. And the apartment located in super center area but quiet, and of course with super view of Porto. It is definitely worth it to live there. The living expierence is better than the pictures.
Jun 27, 2019Rosa's apartment is clean, very conveniently placed, and has an amazing view from the balcony. It does get pretty cold in the apartment, but the space heater heated up the bedroom very well. I would highly suggest staying with Rosa!

Jun 27, 2019Wir haben uns trotz schlechtem Wetter sehr wohl gefühlt bei Rosa. Kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder nach Porto und würde das nochmal buchen. Super zentral gelegen mit einem genialen Ausblick vom Balkon. Sehr sauber!

Jun 27, 2019Nice location once you figure out your bearings. Close enough to everything. Fully equipped kitchen which we did use. The view is nice but currently full of construction cranes. Still nice though.
