This is a beautiful bedroom perfect for two located in the Megan Love in Hawaii House. The house has four bedrooms and four bathrooms and is located in a gated community in Hawaii right off of Ali'i drive close to beaches and town. Come stay with us! Aloha This room is super cozy and comfy and the house is so beautiful. I have painted the whole House bright Happy colors and it really feels amazing. The room has hard wood floors and air conditioning You will have access to he whole house pretty much. There is a big living room, lanai, kitchen, creation station, big yard, and many places to sit and relax. I live in the downstairs bedroom and I am around to host and clean and to Meg sure you are having an amazing experience :) My house is 2 1/2 miles from town and about a five minute walk to the beach A rental car would be ideal since the island is so big. We also have uber, taxis, and buses. I also have a few bikes that I share and I live right on Alii drive so u can easily walk or bike

This bedroom shares a bathroom with another bedroom in the house but there is also another half bath downstairs. This is normally not an issue since everyone is on different schedules and doing different things. I clean the bathroom every day knowing that people are sharing :)
Transit
A rental car would be ideal since the island is so big. We also have uber, taxis, and buses. I also have a few bikes that I share and I live right on Alii drive so u can easily walk or bike to some of the Beaches :)

You will have access to he whole house pretty much. There is a big living room, lanai, kitchen, creation station, big yard, and many places to sit and relax.

I highly recommend staying at Megan's place. Megan is a great host. She creates a warm, inviting environment. You can tell she genuinely enjoys having guests in her home. The house is on a private, gated street, close to the beach. The listing description is accurate.
Jun 27, 2019Megan's home is so welcoming and colorful! The hosts are friendly and will include you in anything going on while you're there - dinner, yoga, paddle boarding. There's cocktails and coffee upon arrival, and plenty to do nearby. I only wish I could stay longer than one day!
Jun 27, 2019Megan's place is a great, fun beach house. Just walking or biking distance from several beaches, and town. Megan gave me the tour, and the room was all ready with sheets and towels. She's very generous with everything in the house, made me a drink (!) and the garage has everything you could want for the beach: surf and body boards, chairs, snorkel gear, yoga mats. She knows people around town and can make suggestions and even hook you up with activities. A lovely host and fun experience to stay here.

Jun 27, 2019Spent one amazing day and night with Megan at her "Bed & Best Friend". Within an hour of knowing her we were chillin like we've known each other for years. If she asks you to go to yoga, do it. It's a blast and a great way to meet a ton of people in town. Megan and her friends are welcoming to people from all walks of life. She has a heart bigger than ocean and a smile brighter than the sun. You get so much more than a place to sleep when you stay with Megan. As far as the house goes, it is incredible. Very new, extremely clean, and most importantly it is close to the beaches and to town. The bed specifically in the lilac room is exceptionally comfortable.

Oh BTW she has a good taste! She painted and decorated the place nicely! The neighborhood was great. walking distance to the beach. Thanks Megan for being an incredible host!

Jun 27, 2019Megan is beautiful inside and out! She welcomed us with open arms and took us to happy hour and the beach to swim with turtles. She truly made us feel at home and we loved her spirit and energy. We are going to her yoga class tomorrow even though we're not staying with her anymore because she already seems like a friend we've known forever. Hope to come back soon!

Everything was tidy and clean yet still decorated and fun just as described. We stayed for a week and it was the best vacation I have ever had. We took videos and pictures, went to the beach. Megan provided us with everything we needed to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. I can't wait to come back.

Megan is such an outstanding host giving me breakfast on the one day she was able and doing everything in her power to be attentive to anything I needed. She created such a family atmosphere in the house with the other guests that we all went to see the lava together. The room is impeccable and the bed was super comfortable. All the love in the universe to Megan!
Jun 27, 2019This was the best Airbnb experience I've had. Megan is a special soul who does everything she can to make you feel welcome, comfortable, and enjoy the stay. The house is gorgeous and has a peaceful feel about it, as well as being clean and comfortable. The location is just amazing with "turtle beach" at the end of the street (with actual turtles!!). During my stay Megan helped me out so many times by giving me lifts to different places or letting me use her phone to make arrangements. She also has snorkelling gear and bikes to borrow which made this trip the perfect vacation. Megan also teaches yoga, and the other guests and I went along with Megan to free yoga overlooking the sea. Megan has a way of making people feel comfortable and being able to connect with each other. In my 3 short days here, I felt like I got to know Megan and the other guests and will be staying in touch. I will definitely be back one day soon.

She loves her job, she is very attentive and fun, she cooked for us and did our fresh smoothie every morning! she gave u a lot of good advices to visit and have good time in big island. If i go back to kona i will be happy to be her gest again :-)

Jun 27, 2019Megan has a wonderful house 3mn drive to downtown Kona with 3 rooms upstairs, 1ba, and the open garage is turned into a coach sitting area. Our room was clean and freshly painted. Megan was a very welcoming host. We recommend this rental.

Jun 27, 2019We had a wonderful stay at Megan Love's place! The room was very nice and clean and was beautifully decorated with art and paintings. Megan was an excellent host. She greeted us with ice waters and made us delicious smoothie breakfast the next morning. She made us feel very welcome, and at home. We brought our 4 month old baby with us and Megan was wonderful with him. I highly recommend staying at this place when you visit Kona. Very convenient location. Close to the beach and restaurants in town. We would love to stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019If I could give a rating higher than 5 stars, I would. Megan is an AMAZING host. You can feel her genuine love and caring from the second you meet her. (There's a reason this is called the Megan Love House!) We could not have asked for a better place to stay while in Kona. Our room was comfortable, clean, and beautiful. The lanai and outdoor eating are were so nice, and we were thankful for the wide array of beach gear that we could use. My favorite part, though, was the delicious coffee and smoothies that awaited us each morning. If you are looking for a place to truly relax and recharge, stay with Megan! Mahalo and much love!
Jun 27, 2019Megan is a great host and her place is superb, everything was way better than expected. The room is spacey, bright, well equipped and looks nice with a lot of artwork and nice colors. Megan is really friendly and helpful, she made a delicious breakfast for us and made us to smile every time, eg by singing about Budapest :) She is a real modern hippy, but you don't have to be one to enjoy her company and place. Riding around with her bikes was a real fun, even when we had a breakdown and kind-of-ruined one of them she wasn't upset. She can also give nice hints, eg. where to eat - don't miss Pokeshack. One of our best airbnb experience.

Jun 27, 2019Megan is the quintessential AirBnB host, akin to visiting a long-lost friend who lives by the mantra "my home is your home." Megan is a true "Super Host" in every way, going above and beyond in her hospitality. For example, we arrived to a rainstorm, and rather than have to go out to find a place to eat dinner with my daughter, Megan donned a hat, went out to her garden to pick fresh basil and proceeded to prepare a pasta dinner for all of her guests! It was so heartwarming to “break bread” and commune with Megan, her friends and guests from around the globe. So cool and unexpected! That was only the beginning. Again, totally unexpected, the next morning was the same as Megan and a friend whipped up breakfast for us all — Megan is clearly in her glory hosting guests, and her genuine passion was evident throughout our stay. She has an outdoor/indoor “Creation Station” for painting, making jewelry or designing to your heart’s delight, and the walls of her home are all adorned with artwork from guests. Magical. The room and bed were super comfy; we slept like babies. The location is divine, and once again, Megan served up two fabulous bikes to ride to the beach and along the coastline through Kona to the pier — where Megan was chilling with friends and even invited us to use her paddle boards. It just doesn’t end, and we were only there for less than 24 hours! Upon departure, Megan left us each with one of her handmade rings as a token of her creative artistry and a fond memory of her very big heart!
Jun 27, 2019All the reviews are accurate. Megan became a friend by the time we left. She lives near a secluded beach - 15 min walk around and across black rock to get to it. She cooked us meals. Offered yoga. Gave us great restaurant options. She was most of all a great host and she loves what she does. Tons of water and beach gear made it an easy win for us. We loaded our bags up with snorkel gear and road off into town on two of her bikes-- about a 15 min bike ride. She has locks for the bikes so we locked them up and enjoyed the town!

The house is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the water and an easy bike (she has many available to borrow) or drive, very slowly - biking is faster- into Kona Kailua. I love to open water swim so I biked into town a couple of mornings to swim out along the Ironman swim course from the pier. A GREAT way to start the day! House-wise, the bed is very comfortable, bathroom is adequate and the common areas downstairs are spacious, inside and out, and very accommodating. If you are lucky and the timing works out, you can join Megan for a morning yoga session outside. She's an inspiring teacher and is very experienced and knowledgeable. Megan will do everything she can to make your stay comfortable and very interesting!

From snorkeling gear to bikes and boogie boards, yoga, hula hoop thereby and a creation station. An artists home full of love and wonderful energy. I wouldn't stay anywhere else, ever!
Jun 27, 2019Our stay with Megan was fantastic. Location was great, but best of all was Megan's hospitality! She invited us into her home and made us some delicious smoothies. Also loved that she had lots of snorkeling and beach gear that we could borrow during our stay. We got good advice on places to eat and beaches to visit. We would definitely come back for another stay when we visit the big island again. :)

Situer dans un secteur très calme et à proximité de tout en voiture 7-10min max. Près de l'eau, piste cyclable et endroit pour marcher sur le bord de l'eau. Elle a même des vélo à disposition. Nous sommes arriver tard le soir et elle nous a fait un petit repas. Merci beaucoup pour tout Megan. J'y retournerais Les yeux fermer. Xxx
Jun 27, 2019die vier tage bei megan waren ein höhepunkt meiner ferien. ich fühlte mich willkommen, gut aufgehoben und zuhause. megan ist eine herausragende gastgeberin. sie schafft eine angenehme, sehr persönliche atmosphäre, hat mir die schönsten orte der insel gezeigt und mich mit ihren freunden bekannt gemacht. ich fühlte mich extrem wohl und gut aufgehoben. vielen herzlichen dank an megan, ich kann ihr haus und ihre gastfreundschaft herzlich empfehlen

Jun 27, 2019I stayed at Megan's place for one night with my boyfriend. It was a bit hard to find when arriving late at night, but once we were inside, it was great. Her place is eclectic but also very clean and comfortable. The bed and A/C unit in our room were both great. Everything felt updated and cozy. Megan's place is also in a gated community that felt very safe. Megan herself was friendly and funny, and she gave us the warmest welcome we've had from any host. She even made us coffee and smoothies before she left for work in the morning. I wish we'd stayed here for more than one night, and I would definitely return in the future!

Jun 27, 2019Let me first start by saying Megan is an amazing and generous host. She greeted me with love and made me feel like her home was mine as well. I was only there for a night but wish my entire trip had been with her. She made myself and her other guests breakfast and coffee which wasn't only kind but delicious!! There's a ton of space for relaxing and art making, meditating, book reading.. you name it. Beach towels and bikes were also available. Ali'i drive is a great location for beaches and restaurants. Megan's house is in a safe, gated neighborhood and the bed I slept in felt like a giant marshmallow. I can't wait to go back!!!
Jun 27, 2019Megan Love was the most amazing host and made my trip so comfortable. She was so happy and welcoming and I was never uncomfortable. I stayed for three weeks and she still got up everyday and made coffee and smoothies and healthy breakfast. Let me come to yoga in the mornings, and when I celebrated my birthday she even made me a cake!! She had everything to make your stay wonderful, and you get to leave with a long time friend. I would never stay anywhere else. Thank you for everything!! We were so lucky to find such a wonderful, playful, fun, happy host as well as house. The house completely reflect Megan's personality and I will promise you will never be disappointed. Highly recommend to anyone and will send all my friends to stay there in the future. Megan made me feel so welcome, making delicious breakfasts, inspiring my creative side with her art space and fun hula hoop session and chats. It was clean and colourful, the bed was super comfy. Close enough to town but also private and plenty of space. I loved that there were fresh flowers all around the house I'd definitely recommend anyone stay here. Hope to be back some day.

She is very kind and welcoming and a great cook! She made as feel right at home and even taught us some yoga! Jun 27, 2019We had a really nice 3 night stay at Megan's home. If you're looking for a laid back easygoing vibe it's a great place. We really enjoyed using her bikes to go to the beach (about 10-15 min to a nice one) and also borrowing snorkel gear and body boards. And, we agree that her smoothies are awesome. Thanks for making us feel at home in Hawaii!
Jun 27, 2019Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen am Rande von Kona. Das Zimmer und das gemeinschaftliche Bad war sehr klein, aber sauber. Weniger sauber war es in der Küche und ausserhalb des Hauses. Das Frühstück war minimal aber okay. Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Die Gastgeberin Megan war sehr nett und lustig. Für den für Hawaii günstigen Preis darf man auch nicht viel erwarten.

I did a journey of 6 nights in the cosy and girly Lilac Room of Megan Love House. I really felt like Home. The House is nice and the Garden is beautiful. Hula hoop therapy at Megan place is guaranteed! Megan is a lovely woman and a super host! She also do delicious smoothies for breakfast! Yummmeee!! She is always available to give you tips (shopping, beaches spots, food, visits...) and she is very easygoing. I'm gonna miss Her and her house. Already thinking about my next trip in Kona to come back to Megan Love House! Highly Recommended!!
Jun 27, 2019Megan's home is truly unique. She added so many personal touches to my stay, such as getting a bike ready for me to ride into town and making me a smoothie in the morning. She is available to provide recommendations and help in any way. The house is located on a beautiful, quiet residential street in a gated community. The room was great and the bed was super comfortable. I would just add that it's the absolute perfect type of place to stay if you're looking to meet people to hang out with during your time in Kona, but not necessarily if you are interested in a quiet space for an early night's sleep. There were several guests staying at the same time as me and it was a bit louder in the evening than I was hoping for. Aside from that, it was a hidden gem of a place and a great start to my Kona vacation.
Jun 27, 2019Great stay for the price. The room was VERY comfy and clean. A/C was a nice feature for the evenings. Bathroom was clean and really nice shampoo and soap were provided. Megan was super chill and gave clear communication. She even cut up pineapple and passionfruit (fresh from the yard!) for breakfast. For the price and what we needed, happy with our stay. I will say if you are looking for a quiet spot, or lounging in the living room in peace - maybe not the spot for you. There were always people in and out, they stay up late, but were nice. Couldn't hear it from the room. Just something to be aware of if that'd bother you. Megan was very pleasant and has an infectious love of life.

Room was nice and clean along with the bathroom that was shared with another room in the house. AC was provide in the room but the house was not cooled while we where there. She provide many things for the beach, and bicycles if wanted. Should have stayed here my entire visit.

Jun 27, 2019Megan's place was perfect for our 5 night stay at Kona. The place is located close to White Sands Beach, Kahaluu Beach (great place for beginner snorkeling), coconut grove market place, shopping and restaurants. The place has 3 bed rooms up-stairs. Two of those share a bathroom while the master bedroom has its own bathroom. You have access to pretty much most of the house. Our bedroom had A/C which was very nice. Megan is one of the best hosts that we've ever come across. She made us smoothies for breakfast and provided recommendations on places and things to do. She also has a lot of snorkeling and beach gear which she let us borrow. Overall, an awesome experience :)

Her house is gorgeous and clean and the location is close to everything (when you have a car) yet so quiet and reserved; and with heaps of fruits and plants. Megan is an extremely friendly and fun host- we could tell that she loves to entertain guests and make people staying here feel like part of her family. She also has beach gear and bikes you can use and gave us directions to a walkable hidden beach just down the street.
Jun 27, 2019Staying at Megan's home is a one-of-a-kind experience that is truly special. When people go on a vacation to Hawaii what they really hope for is a chance to totally relax, play, laugh, and smile and feel re-energized by a comfortable reminder that life is good. Megan truly enjoys having guests in her home, and she will treat you like you are friends and family and not a mere "customer." She radiates an inner happiness that is pretty well in tune with the joy of life, and she just naturally enjoys sharing that feeling with everyone that she meets. When I stayed there with my son, right after we walked in the door after a long car ride from the other side of the island, Megan shared some jumbo shrimp off her stove that she had cooked for herself, and then handed me a cold beer, which is her way of making friends very quickly and make me instantly feel pretty comfortable and right at home. After a comfortable night sleeping there, I woke up the next morning and went for a nice bike ride on the beach with a beach cruiser bike that Megan will lend you. Then I tried some of Megan's home-made ice coffee and her super-healthy and delicious home-made breakfast juice which had kale, carrot juice, and apple juice that she made in her juicer, and she also took the time to cook my son and I a pretty fantastic hot breakfast that was gourmet quality, nutritious and delicious. Megan also enjoys arts & crafts and she handed me one of her custom home-made hula hoops, and says "give this a try," which was something that I hadn't tried since I was about 12 years old. She also gave my son and I our own private yoga lesson on the yoga mats in her back yard, and that was a pretty good way to start out the day. Megan is a spiritual person, and all around her house are reminders of her mantra's that she wants to always remind herself of each day, as well as sharing a positive energy with those she meets. It is like staying at the house of Norman Vincent Peale, the author of "The Power of Positive Thinking" books. Staying in a hotel room seems a little dull in comparison because a room is really just a room. Staying at Megan's house is more than that... it is a pretty high level of extra attention to Megan People Happy and creating an overall experience that is fun, relaxing, and healthy.
Jun 27, 2019Megan's lilac room was a lovely space with very much appreciated air-conditioning. The sheets were lovely and comfortable. She greeted us with a hug, and explanation that we could use all beach stuff- towels, snorkelling equipment, bags etc, and her creative outdoor studio- which we didn't have time to use :( We shared a bathroom with another couple which wasn't a problem. Megan made all of her guests a breakfast smoothie which was full of local products. The gated community is very safe and quiet, but just down or up the road are restaurants. You will need a car around Kona....or you could borrow one of Megan's bikes to get around the local area. Megan's place is very chilled and relaxing.

Jun 27, 2019The stay with Megan Love was absolutely amazing. I felt like a local guy from Kona from the very first day. Her place is lovely, save, well located; and you are free to do whatever you want. Or you choose to hang out with the Host and local people. I did the latter, the priceless local experience, for the most part (minus some exploring on the island). I joined the yoga sessions everyday - It felt great and I felt connected instantly and it was one of the great things I have done so far. Megan and everyone I have met are super nice, easy going and fun. The House is lovely, it's actually bigger than it looks like on the photos, it's clean and Megan makes the stay even better with her great personality and hospitality. She would always have something to eat or drink for you to try, it is really more of an experience you are getting, not just a place to stay. The gated community is kind of hidden and super safe. Highly recommendend - Magical place to stay.

Megan is extremely entertaining; she communicated well, was very welcoming and has plenty of suggestions of what to do around town. She also has equipment for surfing / snorkelling and bikes which you can just borrow! Accom is perfect for individuals or couples travelling.
Jun 27, 2019Megan's home is colourful, full of art, and feels super cozy. Our room was very well sized, the bed was super comfortable and the house was kept nice and clean. Megan is well stocked with beach gear including towels, snorkels, flippers and bodyboards which we were able to use during our stay. Her house is only a 5 minute walk to the beach and about a 8-16 minute drive to Kailua-Kona main town (depending on traffic). Megan is lovely and she even surprised us with smoothies one morning. We definitely recommend staying here! Thanks again Megan for hosting us. We'll see you again soon

There wasn't a lock for the room we were staying in, but there were absolutely no issues or concerns about the safety of the area. As a host, Megan is awesome - super friendly, outgoing, and very easy to communicate with. She gave us fruits grown from her backyard and even offered us smoothies and coffee in the mornings. We hope to be back soon!

My wife and I are kind of private people and we had long days and got in late, and slept in, so we didn't really have a chance to meet her. The location is quite a ways from the ocean if you are planning on carrying chairs. One morning we woke to loud music and listened to an argument, from our room upstairs, between Megan and someone that she didn't want there. I feel it is a little over-priced, although it met our needs.

Jun 27, 2019메간은 매우 친절하며 숙소는 깨끗하고 좋았습니다. 메간은 아침으로 요거트, 신선한 과일, 커피를 주방에 준비해 놓고 메모를 남겨주었습니다. 숙소에는 바다에서 필요한 각종 물놀이 기구와 바다에서 해를 가릴 수 있는 파라솔, 바다를 보며 쉴 수 있는 이동 접의식 의자, 슬리퍼, 등등 모든것이 완벽히 준비되어 있습니다. 숙소 주변에는 풍경을 보며 쉴 수 있는 공간이 여러군데 있습니다. 빅아일랜드 대부분의 집은 나무로 되어 있으며 그로 인하여 방음이 다소 취약합니다. 어느 에어비앤비든 그 부분은 동일할 것으로 예상됩니다. 옆방 게스트와 욕실을 함께 사용하긴 하지만 마주친 일이 없어 불편한 점은 없었습니다.
Jun 27, 2019We had an amazing time staying at Megan’s for 2 weeks in February, 2018. Megan and Jacob were terrific hosts. They prepared delicious and healthy breakfasts for us including smoothies, papaya boats and various egg and vegetarian combo plates. As well, Megan let us have full use of her kitchen. She was so helpful informing us re: what to see and do on the Big Island. She invited us to her Yoga classes and even taught us how to make jewelry. Megan’s home is beautifully laid out, super comfortable and in a very convenient location, close to the beach, restaurants etc. Her yard is lush with both garden and tropical plants such as papaya and passion fruit. Staying with her in Kailua Kona was like living in a tropical paradise!

Along with a richly decorated environment, a yummy organic breakfast, she includes art supplies, bicycles and snorkeling gear for her guests to use (no extra charge!) The eve of our last day on the island, we found the bed & room to be cozy & comfortable, while Megan’s neighbors & friends were super chill and fun to hang out with. The next morning, after we all did yoga (led by another guest who has been teaching yoga for 10 yrs) Megan actually COOKED a very tasty breakfast for us. With a few hours to spare before heading to the airport, we borrowed her bikes and scuba gear and went to a couple of nearby beaches. Megan is a great host, funny, sweet and creative. Next time we come to Kona with our kids, her home will be on the top of our list!
Jun 27, 2019Megan’s house feels so welcoming as soon as you walk in, which makes sense when you meet her. 5 minute after I did, she offered me free range of her closet (after I told her the airline lost my baggage) and our smoothies were amazing. There’s great snorkeling gear to use (use it!) and we walked to the magic beach from her place in ~25 minutes. Great stay, just wish it was longer!

Morning yoga, amazing meals... Hospitality as good as it gets. I felt very welcome from the second I arrived. VERY good location to the quaint town of Kona and beach access within walking distance I would definitely recommend this place and not hesitate to stay here again

Jun 27, 2019Megans Haus ist sehr freundlich eingerichtet mit vielen sehr persönlichen Details. Sehr sauber. Die Lage ist relativ zentral ( mit Fahrzeug 4 min). Eignet sich als Ausgangspunkt für jedes Ziel auf der Insel. Megan und ihr Freund sind sehr herzliche, großzügige Gastgeber, für jede Frage zu haben. Sie kochen auch abends, man kann sich ev. einklinken. Frühstück ist supergut. Kaffee, Smoothie, frische Früchte. Kann das Haus sehr empfehlen.

Megan is a lovely and attentive host and we immediately felt welcome in the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of her house. The room is clean and cosy and the bed incredibly comfortable. Bathroom is shared with another room, which was never a problem, clean and well equipped. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, has a nice garden and lots of amenities. We really enjoyed the tasty breakfast that Megan and Jake prepared and that we shared with the other guests of the house. Only pity,our stay was too short!Would come back without any doubt and definetly recommend it!

Our room had everything we needed and offered enough private space in this really fun, wonderful house shared by Megan and other guests. We enjoyed sleeping with the windows open, which provided a nice breeze.and allowed the songbirds to wake us up in the morning. The walls of the home are filled with eclectic and home made art that set the vibe for a warm and friendly atmosphere. We were also impressed by the outdoor eating area off the kitchen, yard, and the carport that Megan has transformed into a “creation station” for crafts and projects. Megan was a gracious hostess who helped us to feel at home, offered travel recommendations and invited us to join her for coffee, fresh-made juice and a delicious breakfast. We highly recommend this rental to anyone who is looking for comfortable place to stay and a friendly host!

Jun 27, 2019집이 예쁘고, 방과 화장실이 청결하며, 호스트는 친절합니다. 안전한 동네여서 집을 완전히 오픈해 놓는 방식이고 (따로 열쇠 사용 안함), 옆집 고양이가 자유롭게 들락날락 합니다. (저는 고양이를 좋아해서 괜찮았지만, 혹시 털 알레르기가 있는 분은 주의하셔야 할것 같습니다. 고양이가 사람을 좋아해서 가끔 방에 따라올라오더군요) 위치가 좋아서 해변이나 식당가기에 좋습니다.

Jun 27, 2019Megan's place was amazing!!! It was so much more than I expected it to be. The whole house has a spiritual & artistic asthetic to it. There was delicious & healthy breakfast meals made every morning. There were a lot of supplies to use, such as beach gear, bikes, and bug spray. The coolest part was the creation station (you will need to stay here if you want to find out what that is). Both Megan & Jake were very open and inviting, as well as the neighbors. I highly reccomend staying at the Megan Love House.

She has a great outdoor dining area and law. The location is also superb - close the beach and Kona town! You won't regret staying with her.

She and Jake were super cool and amazing in their hospitality during our visit. There are numerous perks of staying at her house. She made amazing smoothies for us while we were there, has a creation room that tempts you to pick up the brush and even offered her had made jewelry to me to keep which I thot was super touching. won't give second thots before booking my stay here again.

We were also allowed to take some of Megan's bicycles to ride along the coast. We had an amazing time and we would definitely stay there again!

She pays careful attention to details to make everyone's experience special. I was able to borrow bikes and beach equipment during my stay, and she offers to make breakfast every morning. Apart from the place itself, the location near the beach and local town was perfect. I recommend Megan and her house to everyone traveling to Kona!

Jun 27, 2019Megan is the most chilled, down to earth person imaginable. The house was super clean, there were clean towels and lots of bathroom supplies for the guests to use. The breakfast smoothies were amazing! I really enjoyed just hanging out with Megan and the other guests in the house in the evenings at the art corner. Additionally they have plenty of good recommendations for restaurants and activities. We also made use of the surfboard and snorkeling gear in the house. In short, I wish we would have stayed here for the duration of the trip as it was definitely the highlight of the trip! PS! If you're here on a Friday be sure to ask about the bootie yoga, it was super fun!

Jun 27, 2019Megan and Jake are great hosts. They take it very serious to make every guest feel welcome and at home. They did so much more for us than we would have ever expected. (Yoga lessons and great smoothies and breakfast!) Also, they had great tips for us on where to go and where to eat! Their house is so cozy and lovely. We highly recommend everyone to book a stay at the Megan Love House! We would always stay here again!

Jun 27, 2019This is a house of love! Megan has thought of everything for her guests comfort. Fluffy fresh towels, clean soft sheets, flowers on the nightstand, smoothies in a martini class with a cherry on top for breakfast. Mmm. She also has several bikes, boards, hooks hoops, and a machine to hang upside down for her guests. Oh and a creation station with supplies to paint should you feel so inspired by the amazing island vibe. Overall this was a great stay at a great value. The best thing being here hospitable and loving nature. I felt more like I was visiting a friend which is nice when you’ve been traveling for a while. Happy journeying!

Jun 27, 2019Megan has seriously thought of everything you might need! Her space is so well decorated that it’s easy to get lost just strolling through her home. She’s thought of all of the small things you wouldn’t think about — like extra big towels (no tiny hotel towels at Megan’s) to robes in the closet. We bought groceries & she immediately offered us space to store our small amount of items. I truly felt welcomed, so welcomed that it wasn’t awkward using her kitchen to make small meals while she was in the next room. She offered local tips & locations to visit. She was a true pleasure to speak with too!

Jun 27, 2019Megan's place was perfect for our short stay on the big island. It was close to the airport and had some great food choices near by too. She has a selection of bikes and beach gear that you can borrow too. We would have loved to stay longer as it was a charming house with a great host!
Jun 27, 2019Megan's place was spotless and very comfortable. The house is fun and covered in really beautiful art done by her. The room has a/c, but we found it very comfortable with just the windows and fan on. The yard is very lush and safe. Megan has set up a cool "Creation station in the carport. Megan and her boyfriend were great! the accommodated a very late check in due to an issue with another host and also made us a delicious breakfast before we went out for the day! we will 100% be staying at the Megan love house again!
Jun 27, 2019I couldn't have imagined a better stay. It was my first stay in a shared airbnb home and I can say I would definitely stay again. The hosts are great and made us feel very welcome. The energy and decor in the house is also very loving and welcoming. The entire stay felt like we were visiting with close friends.
Jun 27, 2019夫婦で宿泊しました｡ 結論から言うと､airbnbでの宿泊で求めているであろう体験が得られると思います｡ 安く宿泊できるのは勿論､他の宿泊者との交流､ﾎｽﾄのおもてなし､全て満足のいくものでした｡ 最終日の夜は､皆でお酒を飲みながら庭で星空の下談笑し､翌朝は皆でﾖｶﾞをやってからﾌﾗﾌｰﾌﾟで遊びました｡ 私達夫婦は英語ができませんが､なんとかなるものだなと思いました｡ 他の宿泊者の方と交流できるような施設に宿泊するのは初めてでしたが､とても楽しかったです｡部屋自体はﾌﾟﾗｲﾍﾞｰﾄが守られていますので安心です｡ 普段､外国人と接する機会が無い日本人の方にこそ､是非利用していただきたいです｡ 強くお勧めします!

Jun 27, 2019Der Aufenthalt bei Megan und ihrem Freund war einfach nur super. Sie sind beide sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Uns hat auch der Style vom Haus gefallen, dass alles so unkompliziert, freundlich und farbenfroh gestalten ist. Das Früstück war jeweils einfach aber super lecker. Und es gibt so vieles was sie zur Verfügung stellt (Fahrräder, Strandutensilien usw.).... Toller Aufenthalt und wir würden sofort wiederkommen. Danke für alles ;-)
Jun 27, 2019Megan Love's home is a true Hawaiian experience. Delicious breakfasts and French press coffee is what greets you in the morning. She is extremely welcoming and I felt very comfortable in her home. She has a lot of gear on hand to borrow for your stay. The location is excellent and just a few blocks to the ocean and main ocean road. We even had the chance to take one of her yoga sessions in the front yard! I am already planning my trip back!
Jun 27, 2019I would recommend Megan’s house of love to anyone & everyone! Megan & Jake were so warm & welcoming it felt like staying at an old friend’s house. They made us an array of seriously delicious juices and breakfasts, gave us great local tips and even took us along to a ‘booty yoga’ class. The place was really clean & stocked with everything you’d need, including after sun cream, snorkel gear, bikes, art supplies & hula hoops. Again, I highly, highly recommend ❤️✨

Megan was very responsive and accommodating. The place is super zen, quiet, and unique. Hospitality was top notch, including the amazing breakfast made by her boyfriend Jake. We plan to stay here again!
Jun 27, 2019Cute place with a very island eclectic style. Megan was a super host with a warm welcome and great communication. She definitely put hard work into putting her personal style into the house. The thoughtful details are what we will remember most. Things like the creation station, the hammock and the beautiful Instagram worthy smoothies in the morning. Bedroom could of been cleaner as it had dust bunnies camping out on the shelves and floors. The shared bathroom shower had low pressure and barely any hot water with high pitch squeel that I feared would wake the other guests. But all in all it was a great stay and in a very convenient location.

Jun 27, 2019Magen’ boyfriend guided us into their love home because we are so late to check in. But Megan is so responsive to answer all of our questions. The code box is out side of the gate when you wanna drive in. It took our like five minutes to figure out where is the box. (In the right side in front of the outside gate ). The home is far more beautiful than the picture. Everything is same. We spend two days with Megan, including the Halloween. Megan fed us unexpected breakfast, like Benedict brunch. Highly recommend the worthy Airbnb.

I stayed in the Sassy Lilac room, which gets beautiful morning sunshine and has an amazingly luxurious bed. The shared bathroom was very clean and well stocked with amenities. The breakfast they made was gourmet, WiFi was fast, lots of snorkel gear to borrow, close the beach and amenities...perfect place to stay while in Kona. Mahalo!!:)

Megan had bikes and snorkeling gear for her guests. Megan exudes hospitality. I loved her breakfast and being able to do a yoga class with her. All in all, we got more than what we bargained for. Cozy bed, soft sheets and towels, all the extra amenities you could need. Breakfast in the morning if you’re not already out adventuring on the island. Yoga M-F to keep you in shape after all the extra yummies. Knowledge on all the best places to go and extras to experience. You can’t go wrong and I look forward to returning for another stay.

Jun 27, 2019We stayed at Megan’s house for 4 nights and were surprised by a different delicious breakfast every morning. We even had the chance to join one of Megan’s yoga classes in the morning. The house has a lovely Hawaiian vibe with great artwork. It is close to the beach and just a short bike ride away from downtown Kona. We could even borrow bikes and swimming/snorkeling gear from the house. Megan and her boyfriend are outstanding hosts that make everybody feel welcome. We would definitely stay there again!

Jun 27, 2019Very welcoming people. The house is lovely, the vibe is perfect. We feel totally confortable the minute we arrive. The position of the house is nice as well, Megan let us used the bikes everyday so we could go on every beaches on Alli's road. They made us breakfast and let us used the washing machine. I would really recommand Megan's Love House for everyone!!!

Jun 27, 2019This is the first bnb I ever choose. Love the decoration and all kinds of paintings on the walls. The community is nice and very close to a beautiful beach. This area is also convenient for little wandering to Kona town. The bathroom is shared with another room but kept very clean and lovely. The garden is so good for breakfast, yoga and party. Megan made delicious breakfast for us. I borrowed her yoga mat for some yoga in garden. Wonderful experience. A place I definitely want to come back.
Jun 27, 2019Perfect stay. Megan and Jake were kind, fun, generous and gracious hosts. The place has a fun and inviting new age vibe. Lots of little extras abound. You could just stay the whole time at their house and enjoy what’s in walking distance (but don’t- there’s so much to see and do!). Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay there again!
