Jun 27, 2019I was in town for a quick trip and needed a place that was spacious and nice. I was familar with Johno and his property from another visit to New York a few years ago, so I felt that even though this was a different place it would be good. I was right! This apartment makes me want to stay here forever, it is full of beautiful furniture, with serious attention to detail. I love the Whole Foods across the street and the fact that I am so close to the subway makes it perfect. I was only here for a short time this visit but I would rather stay here then any hotel room. Thanks Johno!

Their apartment is just wonderful and comfortable to stay in. if you like late New York nights, you would find it very comforting to come back to their apartment and see the sun-filled morning sky in the east. Its a great location, away from the madness of downtown and midtown.

Jun 27, 2019Johno is a very attendive host, who really cares for his guests. He helped us, when we asked for something, but unostrusive when he felt we need privatcy. The appartment is wounderful, modern and we coulf find everything we needet for a pleasant stay. After 3 weeks of hotel breakfast we enjoied to prepare our own, the food-marked very close to the appartment is one of the best I saw during our whole trip. It is very close to Metro (A;C) and therefore perfectly connectet to all parts of NYC. We highly can recommend Johnos appartments (I think all of them are in the same quality), we surely will stay again there when we come back to NY.
Jun 27, 2019All in all, it was a perfect stay. Our greeter, Kerry, as well as the host Johno were friendly and professional. I was a little concerned about being on 99th but found that it was absolutely no problem. On the contrary, it was close to public transportation, there were always taxis, there are loads of restaurants in the neighbourhood and Whole Foods is across the street. Continued success.

The neighbor is wonderful. We feel like this is our NYC home. Johno sent us a text after we reconnected for this most recent visit and he said, Welcome Home. We could not be happier. Jun 27, 2019This apartment was such a great place to stay in New York. It is located in a really save area, in the street there is a bus stop with 2 lines, that takes you directly into the city. There are also several subways nereby, which we took most of the time. In front of the house there is a super elemantary store and also a 24h store, which we used, when we arrived light at night. Wonderful view on Central Park. The apartment is furnished very modern, we found it very clean. There was everything we needed. Wonderful. Contact by mail and SMS was very nice with Johno. Only thing to consider is, that the bed itself is only queen-size. Some people might prefer larger bed. For us it worked fine though We would always choose this place again, coming back to New York.

Jun 27, 2019We had a fantastic stay at Johno's appartment! The appartment is incredible beautiful, even better as on the pictures. The interior is extraordinary stylish and cosy. The appartment was very clean and with very modern equipment - from Internet TV, Nespresso coffee machine to a state-of-the-art kitchen. The location is perfect, very close to Central Park, Whole Foods supermarket across the street, nice restaurants in walking distance and subway stations close by. He was very kind, extremely helpful and the best host we could imagine!! We will definitely come back!

Jun 27, 2019We had a truly wonderful stay in Johno's apartment and are sad to leave. The photos don't do this place justice. It's spacious, spotlessly-clean, quiet by NYC standards and equipped with everything you need to make this a home away from home! Johno was hospitable without being intrusive and kind enough to ensure the place was stocked with the basics like laundry detergent and paper towel, etc. Loved it and would highly recommend!
Jun 27, 2019Quiet, comfortable, cool, clean, view, spacious, convenient. We really enjoyed this apartment. Very clean and everything was very comfortable. The view and proximity to the park are great. Tons of places to eat in the neighborhood and close to subways. There are also always plenty of taxis right our front. Very nice place to stay. Johno was nice and seems like he really cares about his property.
Jun 27, 2019Best trip to New York ever. The appartment was perfect, and kept every promise in the prospect on airbandb. Groceries across the road, subway around the corner and plenty of good restaurants in walking distance. We had a great time, and will love go back.

Jun 27, 2019My wife and I visit New York frequently, and tend to stay in hotels (usually The Wythe, but also Soho House, The Viceroy etc.) I mention this because recently, we decided to give airbnb a try, and Johno's apartment combines all the convenience of a home stay, with the luxury and design aesthetics of a boutique hotel. The Upper West Side location is fantastic, one block from Central Park (with views from the apartment.) You don't need to worry about the photos being misleading - it looks even better in real life. The design is in impeccable taste, the entertainment system/TV/broadband is fast and up to date, the bedding/towels etc were pristine. Johno is incredibly efficient at replying to enquiries, and the whole stay was a joy. Highly recommended.
