Neighborhood Overview
Kihei Parkshore is located directly across from a great surfing beach. There are several spots to rent gear and even take lessons. A block away are several restaurants, bars and shopping. The grocery store is just one block further. Kalama Park is also across the street and offers horseshoes, a playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball and soccer fields. There are also many spots to BBQ and picnic tables to enjoy your meal.

Rules
There is no smoking in the complex. Guests are required to go to the front sidewalk if they wish to smoke. Pool hours are from 8 am to 9 pm. Pets are not allowed. Quiet hours are from 9 pm to 8 am. The bedrooms are located near the parking area so please be as quiet as possible so as not to disturb other occupants.

The perfect spot for a surfer to land as The Cove is directly across the street and checking the surf from the room with a cup of coffee was the early morning ritual :) Awesome backyard with pool and shower area. A most enjoyable walk to great food like Kihei Cafe for breaky and South Maui Fish Company Food Truck for the best fish tacos. Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows, lots of beach necessities in unit, and easy parking make this a perfect spot for families or a couple like us. Jennifer was easy to work with and very responsive and accommodating! Will be back for sure!
Jun 27, 2019Jennifer was available and helpful. She did what she said she'd do. The space is in one of the best spots in Kihei! Couldn't get any better as far as location goes..if you're wanting to enjoy sunsets on the ocean, a little pool right outside your door, walking to the ocean, surfing, great food, and the beauty of this area, this spot is an affordable little gem.

Jun 27, 2019Jennifer was a great, accommodating host. She assisted with early check-in since nobody was staying the evening before! She also allowed us to have our privacy, though remained in close contact via text throughout my 4-day stay. She does live above the apartment (a separate entrance entirely) so it's possible to have her help easily. I was pleased with the location directly across the street from the water (not a swimming beach but a couple-minute drive to several great sandy beaches). Fine food options nearby. I recommend Joy's Place around the corner for smoothies or an acai bowl. And I recommend the awesome poke truck two blocks over for great fish!
Jun 27, 2019Jennifer's place was perfect for my family vacation. This 2BR with pool and yard is nice, and across the road from a local surf spot. We rented longboards one day and SUPs from the surf shop next door. The patio was quite enjoyable to eat our meals. She has a well stocked kitchen. Jennifer was responsive to my questions, and was helpful suggesting a late night restaurant, Zippy's, for our evening arrival.

Jun 27, 2019Overall, Jennifer was a good host. She responded to everything and does actually live close by (a good thing too, because the door code wasn't working when we arrived, but it was quickly addressed). She was also helpful in giving us a bit of extra time for check-out. Just to say a couple things about the actual condo, the pictures do portray it in the best possible light. Nothing deceptive, but there are elements that could use updating that are not shown. The bathrooms need some TLC and there are lots of wires and cords everywhere (especially the bedrooms). Everything else was clean and safe. The kitchen is up-to-date with every appliance you should need, including a blender and toaster. There is a newer washer and dryer right in the unit, which is very convenient. We didn't use the TVs, but there are 3 of them - one in the main living room and one in each bedroom. Parking was very convenient - a reserved spot that's just steps away from the ground level entrance (the condo is on the ground level and doesn't have any stairs). There are several beach accessories waiting as well - a cooler, beach chairs and boogie boards are there for your use, along with plenty of beach towels. There are 3 AC units and all of them worked, but they are noisy. The noise level outside was generally good. There were a few inconsiderate very early morning departures from other units, but nothing major. The park across the road closes at 8pm, so there was no late-night noise to speak of. The location in general is great. The park across the road is not a swimming beach (no sand, too many rocks), but it's very popular for surfing and paddleboarding lessons. There are several sandy beaches just a short drive (or healthy walk) away. Kihei in general is a great spot to stay, as it's near several great beaches (Big Beach in Makena is epic) and is central to a lot of things you'll want to see - the upscale Wailea area is just a short drive away and several other destinations are easily driveable from Kihei. There are lots of food choices close by and many of them offer some of the best value you'll find in Maui. There's also 2 supermarkets right down the road (and Foodland is open until 1am). To summarize, the condo was more "rustic" than we were expecting, but I will say that in the area, you'd likely have to pay a bit more for something more updated that has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Jun 27, 2019Jennifer's place has everything you need in the perfect location. It was my first time in Maui, & I absolutely enjoyed it. Jennifer's place was literally right across the street from Kalama Beach Park & a very short walk (~10 min.) from Charley Young Beach. Her place is very centrally located in Kihei: directly next to the surf/paddleboard rental, 5 min. walking distance from a shopping village, & in the middle of the island, which is nice if you plan on doing the drives to Mt. Haleakala or the Road to Hana. Safeway is a short ~5 min. drive & Costco & the airport are a ~30 minute drive away. Her place has everything you need: kitchen, washer/dryer, beach towels/chairs, nice outdoor patio with a nice, small pool. I highly recommend her place if you want a quiet, quaint, peaceful place to relax where everything you need is a short distance away. Jennifer was also very prompt in her responses and very easy to get a hold of. Thanks again for everything, Jennifer!!! My family & I loved everything about our stay at your place.
Jun 27, 2019We had a fabulous stay. The condo is in a great location with amazing view of sunset across the road, which you can enjoy from the pool and short 10 min walk to a very nice beach. The apartment is spacious and kitchen was well equipped. Jennifer was a very nice host! We will definitely stay again.
Jun 27, 2019This condo is in a great place in Kihei next to great beaches, shopping, restaurants and a grocery store. Jennifer was an outstanding host and worked diligently to help solve some credit card issues prevent us from booking. Compared to other condos in this area this is a great deal even if it is a tad dated. We would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the kehei area of Maui!

Jul 27, 2019This condo is in the perfect location and has a lot of space for the price. Loved having two bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths. The pool area is beautiful and you are right across the street from the ocean. The condo is slightly outdated, but it doesn’t affect the overall experience of being in Maui. Washing machine and dryer were a huge plus.
