(please bring house slippers if necessary, but please do not wear shoes in the house at any point, not “just on ur way out”, not “just on ur way in”, please respect my wishes and do not wear shoes in my home). I expect my guests to be clean/neat, (especially in the bathroom). Please leave the bathroom tub/sink clean and free of your body hair. Since this is a space where I live as well, please be cognizant of my comfort as well as yours; clean up after yourself. MEN: toilet seats stay DOWN in my household lol. Dellasie was a very nice and gracious host. The room was huge, clean, and looked precisely as pictures. Her home was very conveniently located near transportation (train/bus/cabs), food... Anything you might need. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone coming to NYC!"

The place was in the middle of Broklyn, so many local stores (food, clothing...) good located to the subway and bus station. I recommend this place to have a good time in NYC.

Jun 27, 2019We really enjoyed our stay here. Dellasie was a great host, was friendly and kind, gave us our privacy when needed but was always up for a chat. The flat is very nice, the neighbourhood is nice and lively, it is located very close to transport links, and you can be in Manhattan in 40 mins. A great place for anybody visiting New York! We would definitely stay again
Jun 27, 2019Dellasie is a very prompt, helpful and easy-going host. Everything was set very promptly and prepared for my stay. The underground is cca 3 minutes walk from the apartment. Good choice for a short NYC trip!

The room is right in the center of her apartment but she was careful to make me feel like the space was my own private room. The neighborhood is great and one of my favorites in Brooklyn. I felt happy wandering around on foot in the day and the subway station is very close by with useful links. And the bed is SO comfortable!
Jun 27, 2019The bed is in a large space which is on the living room of the apartment. Privacy is provided by large black curtains. Dellasie was really friendly and stayed out of your way. The Kingston metro station is just a couple of blocks away. It was a good deal for a short stay.

Jun 27, 2019I loved staying at Dellasie's place! She was very friendly and so helpful with any questions I had to ask. The room was just as described. I was perfectly comfortable the entire time and I felt right at home! I spent one day being lazy in the apartment recovering from my rough travel day and she even brought me a bunch of movies to watch. Great host!

Jun 27, 2019I waited a couple of days to write this review, as I want to digest this experience and try to review it as objectively as I can. The guest before me needs to check out late so she contacted me the day before I can do the check in between 4PM to 6:30PM. I was enjoying my holiday, I guess I could as the place I stayed before is not far from hers. So I replied yes. Long story short, the following day I got stuck in the traffic and got locked out from the place I stayed before. I was late. Dellasie was not happy, even I apologized. She won't listen to me explain either, "don't argue!" That's what she said I didn't see her much during the days I stayed. She did provide me privacy and a big bed. Thanks. The kitchen sink was always full of dirty dishes, I was not cooking there, just not so pleasant. The neighbour was loud at night, I can hear the TV is on till 2am, but this is New York, which is ok. Generally it is ok, liveable, have privacy, safe area, loads of good restaurants. The host could be more welcoming, which is kind of her job. Smile once doesn't hurt.
Jun 27, 2019Dellasie was very welcoming when I came to stay at her place. It is a very spacious room, and Dellasie will give you all the privacy you need. The apartment is a bit far away if you look to spend most of your time in Manhattan, but it is easy to access by train. You should check out Dellasie's music, she is a very talented singer and musician!

Jun 27, 2019The place was easy to find. If you come by car though, be prepared to look for parking, especially in the evening. The room is indeed very clean and spacious. However the bed is a bit smaller than shown on the picture. The room is separated by a thick curtain. Don't worry, it will still give you total intimacy. There is a big leather couch and a large table full of magazines; I liked the attention to details. Dellasie is a very sweet and funny hostess (she's also a great singer!). On the bed was a basket with clean towels and a bottle of water. I thought it was a nice gesture. I didn't see her a lot but she does respond quickly to her emails. Overall, it is a very convenient and safe place. I would recommend this room for a single traveler.
Jun 27, 2019Even though I arrived just before midnight, Dellasie was very welcoming and showed me around the apartment straight away. She made it clear that she was available for help but left me my privacy, which was much appreciated! Good location, only a few minutes to the subway and reasonably close to Manhattan downtown. Really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend!
Jun 27, 2019Dellasie is a wonderful host. Very pleasant stay. Being an artist myself, it was a bit easy to connect with her and I enjoyed our conversation. She is extremely accommodating as we arrived a bit late, also that we kept her well informed about our whereabouts and when we would arrive. There was a bottle of water, fresh towels and a card showing the wifi password by the bed which I thought was a nice touch. Though I disturbed her in the middle of night when I did not try the door right, after grabbing a pizza in the corner, she and her boyfriend did not mind at all. Good people!
Jun 27, 2019Dellasie is very generous and the space is pretty great - there's a large black curtain that segments the living room so you have your own space. Dellasie leaves you a towel and clear instructions for the wifi etc, and there's a huge fan in place and a place to hang your clothing. The apartment is clean and spacious, though some may find the makeshift bed a little too small. The only bad thing to me was the awful heat!

I had trouble with my flights from London and kept of being delayed but she was always very quick to respond and had no problem with me arriving at any time. It's great staying with someone who has such a passion for music and she made me feel welcome whilst also leaving me to do my own thing. Only slight downside is no air con but there's a great fan instead.

Jun 27, 2019I stayed with Della for the Labor Day Weekend and had an amazing time. From my initial reservation until checkout everything was absolutely flawless. I contacted her and was responded to quickly, which allowed me to quickly plan my visit. The lines of communication were open and allowed us to coordinate with one another before and during my visit. We communicated via the AirB&B App and via text message. Della was exceptionally accommodating to me, and provided me with information on great places to socialize and transportation from her home to the airport following checkout. Della also allowed me to checkout later than the prescribed time to accommodate my activities during my trip. The home was clean and very comfortable and conveniently located in a neighborhood where everything is within walking distance. Her home is settled behind a bus stop and about two blocks from the nearest subway station. I came to play Mas for Labor Day, which occurs on Eastern Parkway and because Della literally lives around the block from the parkway, her home was the perfect choice for me. In addition to Della being a super host, she is also a pretty dope individual. She is unique and has a jovial personality which makes her an ideal host for AirB&B. I will definitely request her again and lodge with her again. She is super awesome and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Jun 27, 2019Dellasie was a great host! I was an hour late from the original scheduled time I was going to arrive at her place due to transportation conflicts, and she was very understanding. She was very welcoming when I arrived and gave me the whole run through of the place. Throughout my stay she respected my privacy and I had no issues of any kind with her. As for the place it is exactly what you see in the pictures. It's a very nice setup with lots of room. Her apartment is in a great location, it's only a 2 block walk to the nearest subway station. The only flaw with the place is the locks on the doors can be a bit tricky to master, but other than that I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking someplace nice to stay for a reasonable price.

Jun 27, 2019I got a fine reception and instruction on how to use the facilities the neighborhood was safe enough and acknowledging considering being one of the worlds biggest cities The Jewish community had a significant feast that had an impact on the neighborhood; closed café s and restaurants, but very interesting. it was nice for me to mind my own business and come and go as I pleased

Jun 27, 2019Dellasie's place is great! It's very close to a subway station (a few blocks), and I didn't need to change trains to get to Manhattan, where I spent most of my time. There a few grocery store close by, and I also found a great place for breakfast (Collina Cuervo), so you will have no problems finding food. The place itself clean and quiet. Dellasie is the nicest person, very open and easy to talk to. I would definitely stay there again!
Jun 27, 2019We had a good stay in Dellassie's home. We realized right away that the bed was smaller than we had thought. It would be great for one person but there was no way my husband and I were both going to be able to sleep in it, so I slept on the couch with some blankets that Dellasie provided. She was very friendly and responsive, and check-in went smoothly. She left a basket with towels and washcloths, a couple of water bottles, wi-fi instructions, etc., which we really appreciated. The privacy curtain works well. There are four locked doors between the outside and her apartment. The keys worked well and we felt very secure. The noise level was fine. It was a short walk to the subway station and there were lots of little markets nearby. All in all, it was a good value and aside from the size of the bed we had no issues.

She is very easy to communicate with if you happen to need anything, and offers valuable information about the surrounding area as well upon check-in regarding restaurants, where the nearest train is etc. Thank you again for providing me with a place to stay on such short notice, and being so accommodating. I greatly appreciate it!

I was very comfortable in my living space, and had any and everything that I needed at my finger tips. Dellasie is very kind, considerate and a welcoming host which makes it easy for me to continue booking her home on my visits to the city. She is an outstanding host and her home is perfectly situated within a short walk to virtually any need or desire that a guest may have. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely patronize her home in the future.

The space is not private (curtain separates rental space from the rest of the house) but Dellasie and friends were respectful of that and were quiet for the most part. Kitchen is not considered for guest use but bedroom area and bathroom were clean. Sofa and sitting area was comfortable and practical. Access to Wifi & Netflix was a plus.
Jun 27, 2019Dellasie's is kind,place is perfect in the heart of Brooklyn.You got enough space and privacy great value for the money.You're in the middle of Brooklyn so you are everywhere real fast.Recommend for sportive people to rent a bike for more days so you can roll youre ass through town and see the real color full Brooklyn and its diversity such a cool place and nice people and interesting neighborhoods.Its like small manhattan but even cooler.Also subway is around the corner so you are in manhattan or the other boroughs in no time .People go to this place and see it all!!!
Jun 27, 2019Es un lugar espacioso, seguro, cuya anfitriona es agradable y servicial. Queda próximo a medios de transporte, a 15-20 min. de Manhattan por subway, y a 1:15 hora del aeropuerto JFK. El departamento queda en un primer piso por escaleras, con ventanal a la calle, tenerlo en cuenta por los ruidos del trafico en las mañanas; por las noches es muy tranquilo, se puede dormir. Es un living extra-large que la anfitriona separa del resto del departamento con un cortinado, ideal que fuera de tela más gruesa, de todas maneras el alojado tiene su privacidad y LUGAR, (es mas grande que mi habitacion en BsAs!) Hay supermercados próximos, y lugares para comer también. Tranquilo el barrio. Lo recomiendo para todo aquel que no sea demasiado pretencioso y que quiera descansar en un lugar cómodo.
Jun 27, 2019Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt! Und waren sehr froh nicht direkt in Manhatten zu sein. Hier fuehlt man sich wie ein Einheimischer. Es gibt eine U Bahn direkt in der Nähe die nach Manhatten und alle wichtigen Punkte anfährt,sodass man auch nachts nicht weit laufen muss. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und sauber. Im der Nachbarschaft gab es viele cafes und Restaurants. Mein Tipp für deftige Küche -Soul Food Kitchen - Kommunikation war überhaupt kein Problem.

The neighbourhood was lively with loads of shops surrounding.. which was perfect.Room is big and spacious
Jun 27, 2019Like one of the other guest that stayed with Dellasie,’ I have left if a few days after my visit to write subjective review It was my first experience of using Airbnb, the main reason for using the service was stay somewhere where there would be a friendly face, someone, to get heads up on the local area, instead of being stuck in soulless hotel room. Unfortunately it didn't pan out like this! on the whole I didn't feel very welcome, so I spent as much time out of the apartment as possible, I was told off! for leaving the light on the first night and the next day I got told off again! for not putting the toilet seat down! ( i'm 50 years old man!) All very petty I know but I had only just arrived and this the only contact I had with Dellasie for the whole visit, 3 days in I actually checked out the reviews for her place again to see if I had missed something! no breakfast was offerd to me not even a cup of coffee she did't even say goodbye when I left sadly. Anyway, it doesn't give me any pleasure having to write a native review but I feel I most be honest for other people thinking of staying Dellasie. On the plues side NY is Amazing!!

Jun 27, 2019J’ai passé trois semaines magnifiques dans cette ville et l’appartement situé a 3 minutes des commerces, bar, restaurants et metro à faciliter mon voyage. Car je pouvais séparer ma journée en deux parties en rentrant à l’appartement un moment. L’accueil était très bon je me suis tout de suite sentie a l’aise comme a la maison. Jun 27, 2019My stay at Dellasie's Airbnb was one of the best experiences I've had thus far. I was in town for work and needed a quality place to stay that was reasonably priced, easily accessible and most importantly relaxing, and Dellasie provided a room that met my needs. The room was spacious , clean, and peaceful. The bed was comfortable and she went above and beyond to ensure that the room was filled with adequate storage and extras( sheets, towels , blankets, snacks, cups and bowls) without the room feeling cluttered. The blackout curtains do a great job at creating a mutually private space, while aiding to the calm atmosphere she has created . Upon arrival she gave a tour and thoroughly explained the nuances of her place, in the room she left detailed instructions on how to make my stay comfortable for all involved. As a host she is very gracious , highly communicative and detail oriented, I had a great time interacting with her a few times during my stay and I will definitely book this room again on my next trip to Brooklyn !
Jun 27, 2019Dieses Apartment kann ich jedem empfehlen der new york von seiner wahren Seite kennen lernen möchte. Es ist super einfach den Touristen Kram zu machen aber auch so, dass wenn man es möchte, das wahre new york sowie die Menschen kennen lernen kann. Die Nachbarschaft ist bunt gemixt und sehr freundlich. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und offen und lässt einem die Privatsphäre. Ich würde dieses Angebot wieder wahrnehmen wenn ich nach new york fahren würde.
Jun 27, 2019Dellasie is a very gracious host. For me, it was perfect, as I needed a place to lay my head after busy days in the city. Lots of neighborhood flavor. Two blocks from the subway, and a grocery store, healthy grill/smoothie store and small eateries on the way.

She's such a grounded person, and overall one of the nicest people I have met. The space is pretty big, and you definitely have more than enough privacy. I would recommend this place to anyone! My stay was amazingly refreshing, i'd come back time and time again. Thank you for being the best host (:

Jun 27, 2019What a great experience it was to stay with Dellasie! The room is a great size for one or two people. The room space was clean and comfortable. Plus netflix access on the TV for nights in! :) It was very close to the 3 train which made my stay very convenient whenever I needed to head to the city. Dellasie was very responsive to any questions I had during my stay. I highly recommend staying at Dellasie’s place!

Jun 27, 2019The space was well worth the price of the reservation. Everything was clear to understand and open. There were a lot of great restaurants minutes away from Dellasies apartment. The bed was really uncomfortable + hard to rest on, but everything else was pretty up to standard.

Dellasie kept in touch with us before we arrived, and informed us she wouldn't be able to be there, but a realtor named Tony would be. he was a fantastic, polite and respectful host. The place was very clean, and we had plenty of room to ourselves. bed was surprisingly comfortable as well!! Overall a great experience. Loved the neighborhood, plenty of local good food nearby! thanks for making our stay a great one!
Jul 27, 2019I had a really really lovely stay at Delassies!! The room is cosy and spacious and really private! It’s like you have your own little apartment in NYC! Delassie makes sure she gives you a warm welcome and is such a sweetheart!! fast in contact and up for a chat but if you’d rather have a little time for yourself it’s all good! The space is super clean and everything you need is there! The bed is a bit small, no problem for me, but if you’re tall it might not be that comfortable but there’s always the big comfy couch so options enough! The shower is really nice and hot! (or cold whatever you like!) The subway is nearby and easy to find and takes you everywhere easily, it might take a little time to go all the way to uptown manhattan but hey, you’re in New York it doesn’t really matter! ;) Super chill neighbourhood where you can eat and get your groceries when needed! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and when I visit New York I will definitely stay here again!!!! :)
