Ilknur was a great host. We were the first to stay in this room, and so she invited any feedback about it. We had trouble with internet at first, and right away Ilknur adjusted and made sure we had a strong signal. We then had a bit of trouble with the refridgerator in the room, and Ilknur arranged for us to switch rooms. All very minor issues and the host responded right away and very generously took care of us to make sure we had everything we needed. It is a great location, just a short walk from Istiklal, and you have cafes and bakery across the street. It is clean and comfortable. I highly recommend!
Jun 27, 2019What a fantastic find! The studio is a cozy basement apartment with new furnishings and housewares. We had everything we needed for our 4 day stay. The location was fantastic! It is right down the street from a huge shopping and cafe district with tons of nightlife, but the studio is located just far enough not to pick up any of the noise or chaos. Our first day (a Sunday) the was a lovely neighborhood market with tons of produce. There is a bakery and grocery store right across the street. Ilknur was a wonderful hostess! She left us kitchen essentials, even helped us find a scale so we could weigh our baggage for the flight, and was extremely friendly and willing to help us out with anything we needed! The previous person mentioned problems with the Internet and fridge, but these were resolved by the time we arrived. This is one of the best deals in Istanbul!
Jul 27, 2019I stayed in Ilknur's apartment building in late June/early July, and I would highly recommend staying here! First, the location - this building is located in a non-touristy neighborhood but is only about a three minute walk to Istiklal Cad, a great pedestrian shopping district with all sorts of restaurants (both delicious Turkish food and more international options). The walk to Istiklal is a bit steep, but it is so convenient to the apartment. I was travelling alone and felt safe in this neighborhood (though I didn't go out late at night). From Istiklal, you can easily take the Tunel and then the tramvay to get to the big tourist sites in Sultanahmet. When I arrived, Ilknur upgraded me to another room on the first floor, so I cannot comment on studyo 7 specifically. However, all the rooms look pretty similar - the building has been recently renovated, so all of the furniture, kitchen, bathroom, etc. is brand new, and everything was extremely clean. The room was exactly what I wanted when on a trip - small (a studio apartment with combined bed, sitting, and kitchen area), affordable, and everything worked and was clean and comfortable. The bathroom worked well, and the shower was substantially larger than what you normally find in a Turkish hotel! The kitchen was stocked with basic cookware and dishes. On Sunday there was a huge street market around the corner from the apartment, where you can buy delicious produce for very inexpensive prices. The wireless internet worked well. There is no air conditioning in the apartment, but Ilknur provided a fan for me when I asked for it, and I was very comfortable with the fan. Ilknur was very nice and gave good advice about the area. She really wants her guests to be comfortable and takes their suggestions into account. I really enjoyed my stay in this apartment and would definitely recommend it to anyone I know travelling to Istanbul!

Et finalement, nous avons décidé de rester 4 jours supplémentaires : Istanbul est une ville incroyable et nous avions tout le confort possible dans l'appartement loué par Ilknur. Tous les meubles, la décoration sont quasi-neufs (les ustensiles de cuisine, le lit, la douche). Les murs ont été repeint récemment et le ventilateur a été très apprécié en plein mois de juillet ! Quand nous sommes arrivés dans l'appartement, du café, du thé, et de l'eau en bouteille nous attendais dans les placards, du savon dans la salle de bain. De plus, Ilknur nous a donné quelques conseils qui nous ont permis de profiter à 100% d'Istanbul. C'était un peu comme si on était dans un hôtel, calme, amical situé dans un quartier aussi sympathique que populaire. Jun 27, 2019The apartment we stayed was small, but sufficient, very well equipped (especially the kitchen) and very clean. The apartment is in a quiet street not far away from Istiklal and many other place that are off the beaten track the regular tourist would take - as a photographer I really enjoyed wandering the streets of Tarlabasi which is not far away. lknur is a very nice and welcoming host, helpful and provides good tips. We had a great stay and we recommend Ilknur as host in istanbul. Thank you very much.
Jun 27, 2019It's the perfect location if you want to visit Istanbul! You can reach Istanbul main Street in 5 minutes walking, the bus to the airport in within a 10-minute walk. The apartment is perfect if you travel alone, but it can be a good solution also for a couple. No noise in the area, so you can sleeo very well. The price for the apartment is very good, and finally is easy and quick to communicate with Ilknur. I recommend this apartment, absolutely
Jun 27, 2019Stay in Ilknur studio was great. The studio was small but pretty confortable for two people, the bathroom was also good and spacious. The comunication with Ilknur was easy and she provided many informations about Stanbul. The is close to main shopping street. I recomend this place!

Jun 27, 2019Ilknur is a great host and really goes out of her way for her guests. The apartment is also a great price in a great location, very close to the prime nightlife area and not far from touristic sights like Hagia Sophia, Galata Bridge, etc. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting!
Jun 27, 2019Ilknur was such an amazingly warm and generous host. On arrival, she sat down with us for 10 minutes to explain a little bit about the area, and give us a run down on what was near by. We got some great restaurant recommendations from her! The studio was small but clean, and in a good location in trendy Beyoglu. The apartment block is a 5 min walk to Isitklal Avenue with its shopping, restaurants and bars. You can even walk to Sultanahmet if you're feeling energetic, there's plenty to see along the way. All in all, our stay here helped make our first trip to Istanbul a great one. Would definitely stay here again!
Jun 27, 2019Hi there ! I spent three wonderful days at turkey and part of the reason why I call it wonderful is due to ilknur ! She's a great person , very warm and wonderful host and more importantly has a really cute service apartment. The area is perfect too ( 5 min walk to one of the busiest streets of Istanbul and what fun that street is . Ilknur gave me some really good recommendations too .The room is spacious / clean / new / well equipped so ... No complaint any sort . I was traveling alone but didnt have any issue being safe ! I like how prompt she is with her email right from start to the day I left ! Next time I go to turkey I know where I'm going ! Thanks ilknur .

Jun 27, 2019The appartment is small but everything you need is there. Toilet and shower are clean and good. The bed sleeps well. There is some noise from the streets, but who cares if you are tired from a long day! The apartment is 3 minute walk from Istiklal and easy to find. Good host, thinks with you. Minor point: no airco,so might be warm in summer.
Jun 27, 2019My boyfriend and I spent a really great week in Istanbul and in the apartment. It is quite small but has everything you need: kitchen, utensils to cook, bathroom, bed, table, and is very well located (close to one of the busiest street of Istanbul). We managed to see a lot just by walking from there. Illknur was nice and helpful: she gave us some advices for good places to eat and to visit. I recommend this place.

Jun 27, 2019I stayed 5 nights at this lovely place. It's located near taksim square and in a few minutes walk you will be in the centre of Istanbul. It's a cozy place, but when Ilknur has space you get a bigger room. My and my friend stayed the first nights in a bigger room and the last three nights in a smaller room. Ilknur is very helpfull and had lots of ideas to do. We didn't met Ilknur but we contacted with the Phone from te lady from the house. The lady is also very nice!! I'll go back when I visit Istanbul again.
Jun 27, 2019We stayed six nights in Istanbul in this wonderful studio. We were very happy to find it as expected: small but very cosy. We were quite surprised that the pictures show everything as it is, clean, nice and practical. We had a room in the third floor and we didn't hear lot of other renters. The noises from the street near by were quite loud while the windows were open - but that shouldn't be a surprise since it is Istanbul and not some countryside-place. The location of the appartments is awesome, in less than five minutres you're in downtown Istanbul. We had a very pleasant stay!
Jun 27, 2019I didn't get the pleasure of meeting İlknur, but I was able to speak with her on the phone upon arrival and she was very sweet in getting us settled in and making sure everything was okay. The house lady who also lives in the apartment building met us at our exact meeting time and showed us up to our apartment. It is a very nice, small, and quaint studio equipped with a kitchen and bathroom like shown in the pictures. The apartment was very close to the main street, Istiklal Caddesi, which was always very lively and full of life during the night. However, we found it to be quite far to walk to many of Istanbul's main sightings, which was not too ideal. We ended up taking a taxi everywhere, which seemed to be more convenient for us since we were only staying there for two days. Other than that, the apartment itself was very clean and accommodating!
Jun 27, 2019Highlights: 3 mins walk to famous Istiklal street (taksim), iknur (owner) very helpful at everything, complete privacy, extremely good value for money, safe. Positives: Warm neighborhood, grocery nearby, local hamam nearby, 24*7 taxi available from doorstep, well connected to public transport. Negatives: 4th floor but no lift, internet little slow for videos streaming, but ok if allowed to buffer-general surfing was smooth. My recommendation: high. I would give 8/10. Super good.

Jun 27, 2019Ilknur was so pleasant and responsive, and gave great tips on the area. She arranged a late night taxi for my departure as well. The studio wad clean and ready when I arrived. The location is great; a 5 minute walk to all of the dining, entertainment, and shopping. Very convenient to the Tunel and Sishane transportation as well. I would definitely stay here again. The money I saved by staying here wad well spent dining out and enjoying Istanbul. Thanks again, Ilknur!
Jun 27, 2019First off all Ilknur: very kind person, helpful, human, very friendly, we had a problem and she did everything possible to let us be happy. She let us feel as part of the family not just a business affair a rarity. Very close from Istiklal Caddesi and from bus stop to Eminou Fatih . Located in a quiet area, near a small supermarket and a Sunday market. Apartment very well equipped, very clean and safe. We had water and sweets on our arrival. The kitchen provided with oil salt pepper sugar and a.... wine opener. The cleaning Lady of Ilknur was very sweet and helpful fantastic. I would definitely recommend the apartment and their hospitality. Thank you !
Jun 27, 2019I stayed in İlknur's studio for 3 nights. Great location to Taksim square and many restaurants and bars. Apartment was clean and just as described in the photos. İlknur gave me many recommendations and tips which I found very useful. There was a bottle of water and snack for me when I arrived which is very thoughtful since you don't drink the tab water in Turkey. The streets getting to the apartment from Taksim square are uneven and difficult to roll a suitcase down. If you take the bus from the airport to Taksim, I would then recommend taking a taxi to the apartment. It's only a 15 minute walk but to make it easier on yourself, you can take a short taxi ride. :) I had a pleasant experience and would stay with İlknur again!
Jun 27, 2019I had such a great time in Ilknur and Bülent's appartement.... it's a small studio but everything is inside (kitchen, bathroom, internet, etc..), the location in Istanbul is really nice, close to the center and main streets. My host were perfect, they did everything for i to feel happy and confortable.... if i come back to Istanbul i will definitly come back there ! Appartement, location, and host: Perfect !!!

Ilknur is extremely helpful and had some great tips for places to eat and things to see. Just be aware that when you come walking from Taksim square, the street is on the right side from under the bridge you'll be walking over (there are no street signs there).

The appartment was really nice and clean. Even though the neighbourhood seemed a little shadey at first, we felt safe and comfortable in the appartment.

She has send me a lot of information about the neighborhood and the city in advance, and had some great tips about good restaurants, transport and supermarkets for example. The room was neat and clean, and everything we needed was there. The only thing I could recommend are some earplugs cause the neighborhood was a bit noisy. The positioned in a perfect spot in the city, since it's just next to Istiklal street. I would definitely recommend this room to other people. It's a good price for a good place.

Jul 27, 2019My husband and I stayed in studio 2 for 10 days in april. The rooms are very comfortable clean and well appointed. The kitchenette is thoughtfully equipped with all essentials. Illknur is very prompt to reply to communications and helpful with directions and advice on things to do in Istanbul. The apartment is very convenient to Istiklal St and the train network. The walk across the bridge to Sultan Ahmet is only about 20 mins and heaps of interesting things to see on the way. I can recommend this good value accommodation in Istanbul

Jun 27, 2019It's really small room. But clean and cozy. It's ok, if you don't suggest to spend a lot of time inside. And you have now choice, because outside - Istanbul ;-) This apartment is right in the center in 10-15 minutes from Taksim square and near night life. Thank a lot to İlknur - careful and good hostess - for her help in finding place. It's obligatory to have a good map or navigator, because there is no street name on the wall and it's easy to loose.

Never less the apartment is very tiny but it's location is very good. Everything is clean and comfortable. I guess the apartment is good for those travelers who want to see beautiful city Istanbul, fore those who need apartment for recovery and sleep with good location and good price. This was my first Airbnb experience and really, I could not have been happier. It just so perfectly met my needs. I would recommend anyone traveling to Istanbul to stay in one of Ilknur's places.
Jun 27, 2019Le logement est dans un quartier bien placé, pas très loin de la place Taksim et de la bouillonnante rue Iskedal. Ilknur nous ne l'avons pas vue, tout s'est fait par mail, texto, c'est toujours plus sympathique quand on voit les personnes mais bon nous avons bien récupéré les clés et Ilknur nous avait envoyé par mail quelques infos sur le quartier : supermarchés à proximité, hammam, marché de légumes etc. Concernant le logement quelques bemols : il se situait sous le niveau de la rue, donc autant dire que les fenêtres offrent un paysage plutôt bouché et sur le palier une machine à laver collective (et un sèche-linge) utilisés la nuit peut perturber le sommeil le temps de l'essorage. Sinon, c'est petit mais fonctionnel et à un prix intéressant pour les budgets restreints.

Jun 27, 2019Ilknur was a great host. She was very helpful and gave us her number if we needed anything while we were there. We asked to leave our bag and she was very kind and allowed us to have a late check out which was very helpful as we were taking a night bus!! The apartment was small, but had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay, wifi, kitchen, hot water, comfy bed, and a fan. It is in a good location close to everything and pretty easy to find. We would stay with her again in this apartment if we visit Istanbul in the future!

Ilknur was extremely easy to communicate with, provided us with various recommendations for things to do (and we second her recommendations of the Ciya restaurant in Kadikoy and the Bizim restaurant just down the street -- both were delicious!), and offered us any help that we could possibly need. The apartment is very small and was a bit tight for two people with luggage -- we did, however, know this coming in from the pictures, so it was nothing to complain about. In reality, the apartment looks exactly like the pictures -- you will get precisely what you expect. Ilknur was nice enough to leave us a treat on our arrival, the Internet and television worked perfectly, and the location couldn't be beat! Jun 27, 2019Small but very functional apartment in a great location. İlknur was the most helpful host I have ever come across on airbnb! Although we never met in-person, she provided lots of invaluable tips about the surrounding area. The apartment itself has everything you need and has been carefully thought out with travellers in mind. It's also very tidy, the wireless internet is fast, the bed is comfy. The only thing stopping this apartment from being perfect was the lack of air-conditioning, but there was a fan provided which helped.

Apart from the fact that the studio is really small and in the basement , everything is clean. As for the host even if we didn't get to meet them, they were very helpful and always responding by mail when we had a question.

Jun 27, 2019The woman who hosted us on Ilknur's behalf was very lovely. The place is quite small and a bit run down. It should be made more clear that it's a basement apartment as well. We only stayed for one of the two nights we reserved because we wanted a bigger and nicer place for our last two nights in the city. It's right for the price and if you're looking to crash and not spend much time in the place, it's perfectly fine.
Jun 27, 2019We were happy to stay in İlknur&Bülent's flat. It is small (as expected), but had everything we needed: a comfortable double bed, a small kitchen area with a fridge, an internet access, a toilet and a shower. It was clean, it is conveniently located with food shops nearby, but it is bit far from the major tourist center (Blue Mosque, St Sophie church etc.). On Sundays, there is a local market selling variety of goods from food to clothes. İlknur was very helpful, he sent us the detailed description on how to find the flat and gave us tips about local places and restaurants. The only downside we could see is that the flat was very warm, but it is a compromise we were prepared to have in the relations to the cost of renting.
Jun 27, 2019IIknur was a wonderful host. We didn't meet her but she arranged everything perfectly & gave us lots of great ideas on what to see & do in Istanbul. The flat is just how the photos show, small but great value for where it is. The internet worked really well & Ilknur always responded quickly to any questions we had. The flat has a fan & you can leave the windows open over night so it stays quite cool at night. We really liked the neighbourhood & especially enjoyed the Sunday night market on the next street. If you want a convenient base in Istanbul at a really good price id recommend this.
Jun 27, 2019It was great place to stay in short-like trips. We arrived told them when to arrive and there were someone waiting us to be arrived. If you tell exact time to check-in for them it would be nice. We enjoyed our stay is Istanbul, room was clean and equipped for all basic needs and there was a small biscuit and WiFi code on the table which made us smile and feel really good. Location of this place is more than good enough. Because it was 8 minute walk from "Taksim" square which is center of that area. Shops and restaurants nearby is very handy. There was a one more metro station "Sishane" 8 minutes walk away. Overall this was so great place for that price. If you not willing to spent much more this is a perfect place to stay.
Jun 27, 2019Lovely apartment and great hosts! Ilknur was extremely helpful, providing directions and a list of things to do while in Istanbul. The wifi worked well, and there was a washer and dryer in the hallway outside - just bring your own detergent! No complaints; very close to Taksim, and from there it's no problem to get where you need to be. Great for one person, might be a bit of a tight fit for two. Great stay in Istanbul!
Jun 27, 2019It was a great experience for us staying in this studio. We did not meet the host, but she made sure we were happy at her place. She gave us very helpful tips a few days before the trip. She answered every question we had during the trip, and was always available for any inquiry. The house is as expected small, clean, and had what we needed at a very good price. The neighborhood is quiet, there is a small supermarket close to the studio, and the area is within walking distance from Taksim square(about 10 minutes) and even closer to the famous Istiklal street. Our stay in Istanbul was amazing, also because of the host Ilknur that gave us great suggestions of what to do in Istanbul. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone!

Jun 27, 2019We didn't see Ilknur but she was very nice and fast at answering our questions. She did everything to make us feel at home. The flat is small and cosy, the price and the quality are perfect. This is not my favorite area but we were very close from everything and we could eat more with 'turkish price' and not 'tourist price' so it was good for our finances. Don't be afraid if the street looks noisy because the flat is very very quiet and we slept very well. I'll warmly recommend this place to anyone !

La casa è situata vicinissimo alla via principale di taskim ma l interno in cui si trova rimane in una zona diroccata e un po' abbandonata, ma solo per pochi metri. L'host è comunque gentile e premuroso. Quindi se si vuole spendere poco per una visita a Istanbul senza troppe aspettative sul soggiorno è ideale.
Jun 27, 2019We were in this apartment for 5 nights. It is very cozy and it is a quiet area. Good for couples. Just 5 minute walk from Istiklal street and 15 minute walk from Taksim square. It was clean and though we never met the host she gave us some good advices.

The location is great, very close to the city center and the most popular street in Istanbul - Istiklal caddesi. If I got it right it's something like a little private hotel and everything you may need is provided by the hosts whom I unfortunately didn't meet in person. Instead there's a special lady who helps guests check in. Checking-out is also very simple and we had no problems at all. The studio looks pretty much like the pictures, the bed is big but old and uncomfortable partly because the linen is also old and scratchy. Otherwise everything was fine. We really liked it there. Thanks!

J'était dans le centre d'Istanbul près de taksim, à deux pas de Istiklâl Caddessi. l'appartement était propre et chaleureux. Je recommende vraiment cet endroit. Je sortais el soir, l'endroit ne craint pas, on ne risque rien si on à 3h du matin en robe hyper courte :)
Jun 27, 2019Our stay at Ilknur's place was amazing, there was nothing to be dissapointed at. The room is in the centre, in the middle of a busy and alive street of Istanbul, meanwhile the room itself is very quiet. We were extremely stupid to lock the door with keys inside, making troubles for ourseleves and Ilknur first of all. The problem was solved, but still, don't repeat our problem and pay attantion not to shut the door without keys. We didn't meet Ilknur, but even n the phone she was so friendly and extremely helpful. Thank you and sorry again!
Jun 27, 2019The apartment is as it appears. Simple, Clean, and Secure. The apartment is in a great location and is walking distance from major attractions and a cheap taxi ride from the airport. The apartment is great for one person, but two people may find it cramped. For American travelers one thing to keep in mind is if you do not have an international phone it will be impossible to contact the host once arrived at the airport or at the building to open the door. Before booking make sure that you do not have any reservation request changes because the host was not responsive in terms of accommodating my changes and seemed to avoid the question. Other then the inability to accommodate my revision to my reservation, everything is else was great.

Jun 27, 2019The appartment is very simple, but is still charming in a way. Though it´s definitely not the one for couples: too small. For one person it is totally fine. Important to know, that it´s in the basement, so it is not much light in there. Our bed was broken, but we fixed it. Good things: Ilknurs recommendations were VERY helpful! Thanks a lot! And the appartment is PERFECTLY situated, we really appeciated that as well.

Ilknur provided us with great advice on things to do in Istanbul and responded to all my questions quickly. Jun 27, 2019The studio is great, it had everything we needed! :) It is small and cozy studio, it's easy to enjoy it... What was the most important for me, the studio is very near the central city area, Istiklar street (main pedestrain street), so every bar or club is only a walking distance from there... Also, subway station is very near. :) Ilknur sent me a list of all shops, restaurants, supermarkets nearby, and that was really helpful. I think you cannot get a better deal for this price.

The flat is small and cosy, but well stocked with kitchen supplies and has everything one could want in a small space. She even provided us a big bottle of water which was great as we arrived so late. She emailed us some great local information about sights, transport, hammams and places to eat and even booked a fabulous restaurant for us.

Il y a une supérette en bas de la rue, un café, deux petits restaurants dont une lokanta où on y mange bien et avec un bon rapport qualité prix. Ilknur est un très bon hôte, très disponible, qui prend le soin de nous donner toutes les informations nécessaires sur la ville, les bonnes adresses et les commodités qui sont proches de son logement. Jun 27, 2019Квартира действительно маленькая, но достаточно уютная. Для одного человека точно подходит. Находится в 5 минутах ходьбы от популярной улицы Истикляль. Небольшие минусы, которые не сильно повлияли на мое пребывание: - пару раз с утра была чуть теплая вода, но мыться все равно можно было; - кровать в одном месте немного проваливалась, однако я это заметил, только когда сел в это место, а так спать было вполне удобно. В остальном все было отлично. Вентилятор был очень кстати, поскольку в августе в Стамбуле очень жарко. Также в квартире имелись два комплекта маленького и большого полотенец. В душе было жидкое мыло и шампунь. Все было как на фото. Кроме, разве что, настольной лампы. Что было не так важно. Самое главное - полезные советы от хозяина, которые он отправил мне в сообщении. С ними мой отдых в Стамбуле стал намного лучше!

Jun 27, 2019We spent good time in istanbul, very beautiful city. the flat is pretty but little like a room ; the district is old but it's near to taksim, galata and karakoy to take bosphorus ferry. sultanamet is easy to join from the flat because it's direct line of subway from the flat. Maybe we will go back to istanbul next year because we loved the city. if we do that think we will go back to illknur flat because it's a good flat for the price of the location!! Friends want to go to istanbul and we will told them to go to ilknur flat!! And for people who want to make party it's the district to be... joker,indigo club, beats club.. Ilknur was very flexible for the hour of check in and check out... thanks for it! be carefull of what we ear in Europe... we were outside during night and i really felt in security in Istanbul

The flat was small but nice and had everything one needs and was the same like on the pictures. The only deficit was the bed, which was a little bit broken, but could be fixed quiet fast and easily :) overall for this price a perfect place to stay in Istanbul.

Jun 27, 2019The host was extremely helpful and flexible. The apartment is as described and a short walk to taksim, istanbul is huge so a good central location made our stay very convenient. There is a market outside on every sunday, which gives you a great feeling of the Turkish lifestyle but it does get loud on saturday night/sunday morning when they set up the tents. With that being said, I would definitely stay there again.
Jul 27, 2019I had a wonderful 9 day stay at Ilknur's. She was very accommodating and helped me orient to the area with suggestions of ways to see more of Istanbul. Very convenient location with 2 grocery stores 50 meters from the apartment, istiklal street a 5 minute walk and a 10 minute walk to the Metro. Galata Tower, Tūnel and Karaköy ferry are also very close. The apartment is easy to get to from Ataturk by using the Havatas shuttle that drops near to Taksim. The apartment is small and cozy but was ideal for me since I was traveling alone. I look forward to staying here again.

Very good communication, we booked last minute and arrived couple of hours later without any trouble. it is easy to find and location is perfectly close to the center, as discribed. Room is like seen on the pictures and has everything you need and more...shampoo, towels, dishes, water, tea, spaghetti, oil, salt etc. Tv has foreign channels and in basement floor there are washing machine and dryer for common use. Street has small shops and farm market once a week. ilknur was kind to offer us bigger room with no extra charge, but we stayed in studio 7 that was smaller but less hot than big upstairs rooms. Rooms have fan but no AC, with sunny weather gets pretty hot.

Jun 27, 2019CLEANLINESS = 3/5 - The place was clean, but being a basement there were some bugs HOSPITALITY = 1/5 - We messaged 5 days prior to arrival and received no replies about when we could enter the home. We even messaged the night before, but with no cell phone plan we could not know what the reply was when we arrived at the home. We rang the bell and knocked and eventually someone came, showed us our room, explained the washer and dryer. LOCATION = 5/5 - Great neighbourhood, very lively, a 5 minute walk to the main pedestrian strip. You feel like a local when staying in this area. WIFI =4/5 - Worked perfect throughout the house Come again? = No, this place is really meant for 1 person, with the 2 of us it was really tight. For 1 person, this place is perfect.

Jun 27, 2019My girlfriend and I had a pleasant stay at Ilknur's place. The location is great and the privacy of the room too. Even though it was in the basement, it was still a clean non smelling and comfy room. The only downside that I would point out is the size of the room. For two persons it's very tight to the point you have to move your luggage around depending on what space of the room you're gonna be using.

Jun 27, 2019My worst AirBnb stay ever. Mould, broken light, leaking shower, very dark apartment. The owner reacts only to the messages he wants. In almost three weeks he wasn't able to fix the broken light or give me a cloth to clean the floor (after the leaking). He promised cleaning once a week. There was one during my 18-day stay. Room completely different than in the picture. He was very upset and unpleasant when I complained about the light and the leaking. Good price, but not worth the trouble.

Jun 27, 2019Минусы: Так как вариант очень дешевый, многого ожидать не стоит. Комната была грязная: повсюду пыль и грязь, которую, кажется, не убрали еще с прошлых хозяев. Комната находится в подвале. Возле двери две стиральные машинки, которые включают и ночью. Звук от них очень мешает спать. Хозяина ни разу не видели. Нас встретила работница дома, которая совсем не говорит по-английский и пришлось объясняться жестами. На кровати не было простыни только наматрасник. Написала об этом хозяину, чтобы принес, но он ответил лишь на последний день моего пребывания. Спала на одеяле и укрывалась своей кофтой. Очень темная комната. Утром темно, как ночью, но это не существенный минус. Плюсы: Есть все для готовки: кастрюли, сковородка, тарелки, чашки и главное, электрическая плита. В двух шагах есть супермаркеты, где можно дешево закупиться, а напротив простое кафе, где готовят вкусные завтраки. Цена. За такую комнату и расположение - это лучшая цена для бюджетного туриста. До всех достопримечательностей можно доехать максимум с двумя пересадками, иногда можно и дойти. Рядом Истикляль, а значит, что вечером будет чем заняться.

Jun 27, 2019Die einfache Unterkunft erfüllte von Lage und Ausstattung her meinen Ansprüchen für eine Woche. Allerdings nicht meinen hohen Ansprüchen an Sauberkeit. Bis auf den elektrischen Türöffner hat jedoch alles soweit reibungslos funktioniert. Für Menschen die einen privaten Schlafplatz in Taksim brauchen ist die Unterkunft völlig ok.

Jun 27, 2019Good value. Very basic and small, but has everything you need to come home to at night. Ilknur communicated very promptly and helpfully. It should be noted that the room is in the basement, and therefore gets little natural light. The building washer and dryer is right outside the apartment door and the windows face the street, so there's some background noise during the day, but not too bad.

Jun 27, 2019Location is good, but this house is just for a short stay and for a tourist who would go out for a whole day and will come back just to sleep,in that case location and a price is understandable. Otherwise the room is not for leaving. First of all it's in laundry floor, so the noise and smell will be during whole trip. The room is underground, so no light or fresh air, moreover during our trip was some awful smell from outside. The size of room is so small that two adult person hardly can stand there.

I personally didn't like the fact that my room was in the basement, often noise from the washing machines and was losing the phone reception as well

Jun 27, 2019Très bon petit studio . Le studio est très bien situé , juste à côté de la rue la plus commerçante . Les transports en commun ne sont pas loin Le seul bémol est la taille du studio , il est très petit, ainsi que la salle de bain. Sinon les propriétaires ont été à notre service tout au long et facilement contactable. La wifi est cependant peu performante.
Jun 27, 2019Comfortable, secure, and inexpensive. Minimal amenities however the necessities are here. (Bathroom, kitchen, WiFi). Nearby local bus station, local eateries and markets, and close to Taksim Square. Would recommend to those looking for a simple accommodation at a great price. Also the hosts are responsive to questions and very helpful.

Jun 27, 2019The room is the same with the pictures. The location is in ghetto but It's also close to attractions. We had 2 main problems; there was a washing machine right next to room's corridor and the wifi didn't work. When we wanted to just rest, we had a troubled time because of the endless noises. The wifi didn't work and our phones also couldn't connect(because the room is in basement) so we had no connection for the whole night. I think these should be in the description. In general, the room is good for short travels and the bed was comfortable.
Jun 27, 2019I stayed at Ilknur place for 2 nights. Ilknur was very helpful in guiding me to reach the place easily. Also it was very easy to communicate with Ilknur and she responded to my queries in very quick and good way. Staying at her apartment was great as place is nice and clean and according to my expectation. Also the location of the place is very good and very close to Taksim Saqure. I would recommend staying at Ilknur place and will stay here again whenever i will visit Istanbul next time. Best wishes Ilknur!

Jun 27, 2019L’appartamento/stanza è situato in una buona posizione. Purtroppo è particolarmente piccolo quindi non adatto a più di una persona. Il bagno è veramente piccolo. Inoltre, l’appartamento è nel sotterraneo dell’edificio e sull’annuncio non viene specificato. Comunque l’host è stato abbastanza disponibile e ci ha inviato tutte le info precise su come raggiungere il luogo.

Jun 27, 2019relativement déçu par l' insalubrité du logement. Pas d'isolation des fenêtres, on se croyait dehors tout en étant à l'intérieur. Il y avait pas mal d'odeur d'égout venant de la salle de bain. Nous avons même retrouvé un cafard écrasé sous le lit. il y a également la présence de quelques fourmis.
Jun 27, 2019I had an awesome stay in İlknurs "small flat". The studio is like described and very clean. Although Ilknur was not in person there to welcome me there was a very friendly turkish woman who let me in. The district where the studio is, is not overcrowded and in the evening quite enough to take a restorative sleep. The studio might be in a poor quarter of Istanbul but i felt really safe as a Single-traveling-woman. I would definetely recommend this flat :)

Jun 27, 2019Ilknur's studio located near Taksim square and it's very suitable if you arrive from Sabiha Gokçen by shutlle bus. The studio is very clean, compact, you have everything for staying and for cooking also. We stayed at December so central heating and hot water in the studio was appropriate. Bus stop, metro, many sights are very close. Ilknur always connected with us, gave good advices. We also didn't see him, lady met us and have the key. We were very glad to stay in Ilknur's studio and recommend it.
