Brendan was a brilliant host - very quick at replying to any question we had and really helpful. A great experience all round.
Jun 27, 2019BEST NYC HOLIDAY EVER!!! We stayed in Brendan flat for 5 days at the end of March and cannot fault our host or his flat. From the moment we made the booking, Brendan has been unbelievably helpful pointing us in the right direction to make the most of our time in NYC. His warm and well appointed apartment is perfectly located, you could not ask for a more eclectic mix of restaurants, bars, bakeries and shops. Cherry on the cake there are 3 subway stations minutes away in case you are not an uber traveller. 5 star experience all- round.

Jun 27, 2019Brendan was a great host! He was very accommodating, and responded very quickly by text. We met Brendan in the restaurant on the ground floor of his apartment, and walked us through everything. The size of the apartment was perfect for our group of two couples with two small babies. Of note, his place is a third floor walkup, which didn't bother us but could be an issue for others. The location couldn't be better - in the heart of the village...wonderful shops, restaurants, coffee shop across the street, minutes away from Little Italy and Chinatown, and two blocks from the subway station. We are already talking about when we will be returning for our next NYC visit.

Toujours disponible et prompt à répondre aux questions, c'était un stress en moins que de préparer le voyage et d'arriver à New York pour 10 jours. Son appartement est vraiment confortable, bien équipé et vraiment bien situé dans Nolita, un quartier de Manhattan fourmillant d'activité le soir et donc propice aux sorties. L'appartement est d'ailleurs situé juste au dessus d'un excellent restaurant : L'Emporio. Je recommande vivement !
Jun 27, 2019Brendan was super accommodating and a very helpful host. Even before arriving, he was very responsive and helpful when we had any questions about the place. His place is very nice and clean, and close to many subway stations. There are a ton of good cafes, bars, and restaurants close by as well. We would definitely book again with Brendan if we do come back to New York again.
Jun 27, 2019Brendan was the perfect host! His apartment was exactly as pictured. It was large (by NYC standards), clean and very comfortable. He was quick to respond to all communications. He was also friendly and flexible. I would stay there again if I find myself in NYC in the future!

Jun 27, 2019As advertised - great neighborhood, very central to all points in the city. The apartment was clean, the meet-up was easy, the owner professional. The apartment is located on the 4th floor of a walk-up, which is pretty normal for nyc. Just something to be aware of in the event that you aren't comfortable with stairs for any reason.
Jun 27, 2019We loved staying at Brendan's place in Nolita. The neighborhood is terrific - we enjoyed the cupcake bakery, wine bar, and hipster coffee shop right on our block! The apartment worked out great, no complaints, Brendan made the check in/out process smooth. We would definitely rent this apartment again.
Jun 27, 2019We truly had amazing time in New York during stay in Brendan's apartment. Location was perfect. Everything was as advertised. Unfortunately we were not able to meet Brendan in person but he was in contact with us through airbnb so everything went smoothly. All in all if we go back we would choose again Brendan's apartment. Great experience all together :)

Jun 27, 2019We had a great stay at Brendan's apartment. It's a roomy apartment and looks just like the pictures. We loved the neighborhood, very cute with lots of little shops and no trouble catching cabs or walking to the subway. Brendan was very courteous, met us outside and was available and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The apartment was clean and well kept. The only thing I would say is that remember that it is up three flights of stairs. Some of the people I went with hadn't read the listing well and were surprised, but it didn't bother me. Thank you so much Brendan!

Apartment was clean And has air conditioning which we really needed in warm and humid NY. Only min was that there were only 4 towels for 4 persons for a stay of 5 days and that is not enough, same goes for glasses only 4!

The apartment itself was in a charming area with easily accessible transprotation, was clean and quite sizeable for NYC standards. I would definitely recommend it to any groups traveling through the city.

Jun 27, 2019Great location, very cute place, nicely decorated. Typical New York walk up. We were moving my son into NYU and had a lot of luggage. Walking up three flights of stairs was a bit of a challenge but once in the place, it's very comfortable and well appointed. Would have been fine if we didn't have so much baggage. Brenden is a good host and had left helpful instructions.
Jun 27, 2019Wir haben dieses Appartment im trendigen Stadtteil Nolita für uns als Familie (2 Erwachsene, 2 Teenager) für 3 Nächte gemietet. Die Gegend ist toll. Restaurants, Bars und Shops - alles in der Nähe. Brendan hat uns einen Late-Arrival sowie Late-Checkout möglich gemacht, so dass wir sehr viel von unserem Aufenthalt hatten. Die Wohnung ist aufgrund der 2 Schlafzimmer sehr gut für 4 Personen geeignet. Brendan hat immer sofort auf Anfragen reagiert und auch unser in der Wohnung vergessenes Handy an zentraler Stelle hinterlegt, so dass wir es wieder abholen konnten. Es war sehr warm in NYC, aber die Klimaanlage hat sehr gut funktioniert. Die zentrale Lage bedingt allerdings auch, dass das Schlafzimmer zur Straße nicht ganz ruhig ist. Aber dafür ist man schließlich auch in Manhattan.

The apartment is roomy by NYC standards and there was more than enough room for 4 of us. Nolita is an amazing neighborhood with enough restaurants and bars to visit for a year; plenty of shopping too. The apartment is located on a quiet enough street with central access to 6 and B,D,F,M trains
Jun 27, 2019The apartment is located in a busy and vibrant part of Little Italy and is close to a number of the subway lines. The apartment itself has enough room to use as a place to crash of a night but you fill find that you don't end up spending much time there with everything that is on offer on your doorstep.
Jun 27, 2019In a city where shoe-box hotel rooms are the norm, this place was a nice fit for my work colleague and myself for three days. The apartment is clean, beds and couch are comfortable and having a kitchen is nice even if we didn't use it during our stay. Brendan greeted us and walked us up to the flat, and was great at communicating to set up our check-in and stay. Being on the Lower East Side, right next to Little Italy, it was a short commute downtown, and easily accessible to take the subway to Midtown. Would recommend and stay again.
Jun 27, 2019Our host was responsive and helpful. The apartment was exactly as described! Plenty of room for 4 adults, full bath, clean linens, comfortable beds. Air conditioning in both bedrooms made for a great night's sleep. The best part for us was location, Location, LOCATION! This apartment is in a fantastic neighborhood with restaurants and shopping. But it's access to everywhere from Brooklyn to Soho to nearby subways that can take you where ever you need to go; made it perfect. We'll definitely stay here again!

Jun 27, 2019We have enjoyed our 2 weeks stay at Brendan’s place a lot. He is a good host and keeps his promises. Nolita is a great neighbourhood close to Chinatown and Little Italy with lots of coffee bars, cafes, restaurants, supermarket and metro line at walking distance. The apartment offers not a lot of space in the living room and kitchen for 4 persons but do not forget that you are in New York City. There is television set available which is great in case of a rainy day and the 2 bedrooms give enough room for 4 persons. In summer time the aircondition offers a great welcome when it is getting too hot inside and the wifi connection works perfect. His place we can recommend strongly to anyone who plans to visit New York.
Jun 27, 2019Great stay at Brendan's place in Nolita. Great location, very clean, and place looks exactly like the pictures. Bars, restaurants, and coffee all just steps away. Fantastic Italian restaurant a few floors below the apartment. 4 male adults in one place for 3 nights and it was perfect for NYC standards. Brendan was always very responsive and also accommodated our odd check in/check out times. Subway near by. Couldn't hear other neighbors, and though there was construction going on outside, the noise from that was only during the day. I would use his place again no question.

Brendan was here for the check in and stay flexible for the check out time! He answered us in a quick manner to all of our questions or requests. Quzá un poco pequeño, pero teniendo en cuenta que solo era para dormir y poco más, cumple su función a la perfección, el trato con Brendan fue perfecto, incluso nos permitió dejar las maletas en otro apartamento el día que dejamos el piso. Muy recomendable para visitar la ciudad, muy bien ubicado.
Jun 27, 2019We had a great time at Brendan's 2 bedroom apartment. He was very accommodating to our party. When we arrived a few hours before check in, and he allowed us to temporarily store our bags so we could get our vacation started. And, he helped us store our bags on the way out if the city too. The place is in my favorite part of New York, with tons of restaurants, bars and shopping nearby. I would defiantly stay there again.

Jun 27, 2019Brendans' apartment is great! Located in one of the most interesting neighbourhoods in Manhattan with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. In addition to this, there is a very good subway connection within 5min walking distance. We've been there for a week with four people and the apartment was big enough for us! Great stay, totally recommend it!

The rooms look like displayed at the pictures and the apt. has everything you need for the day. The wifi is pretty good. We have been there with two couples and are completely satisfied. Tip to travellers: If you get to nyc the first time you can use the free wifi in the subway to contact brendan.

We got to NY early, so Brendan allowed us to store our bags at his place until the apartment was ready, and even gave us some tips on great restaurants. Cafe Habana is awesome! He even let us have a late check out. The apartment was clean, spacious, and best of all, quiet. Everything we needed was there and the location cannot be beat! Would definitely recommend!

Jun 27, 2019It went okay when we stayed in Brendan's apartment. Brendan is a very kind host. However, At the first night, we didn't get hot water and it was repaired till next day's afternoon. Brendan said it was rare though. Before I booked the apt, it said the check out time was flexible. But at the night before we checked out, we were told we had to leave by noon. Maybe I didn't get the definition about flexible check out time. I think that's my fault. Just wanna let the other people who want to stay in the place double check the time with the host even before you book it. Anyway, the staying in NYC was fine. Hope you guys can enjoy the city.

The place was clean and spacious by NYC standards. And the price was phenomenal for a two bedroom! Great location too. Checkout was a breeze.
Jun 27, 2019Nolita is one of the best areas in Manhattan. It is close to everything- walking distance to many special places. But still an original area. The houses are low, the restaurants and bars intimate and the people nice. Brendans place is right in the center of everything and when you are "home", you´ve got everything you need: a nice kitchen/living room and two VERY separate bedrooms. You can stay here with snoring friends, and don´t be disturbed. It is on the 4th floor and the only thing I missed was a lift. There is a very nice restaurant and a cool bar in the same building. Both worth a visit.
Jun 27, 2019Best location in NYC! Nolita is so trendy and relaxed at the same time in a combined urban coolness :-) We loved our stay in Brendan's apparent were we felt very welcome. Very nice that the two bedrooms are separated by the living room making them both private. The beds a so comfy - real nice after a long flight :-) Btw: The Italian restaurant downstairs (Emporio) is quite good.
Jun 27, 2019Brendan was an incredible host. I don't think I can fully explain how this past weekend was such a wonderful trip and huge part of that is because of Brendan and this apartment. I have been to NYC a few times before and this was by far the best place I've stayed. He quickly responded to every question we had and truly made us feel welcome. A friend of mine ended up getting to the city earlier than the rest of us and he made sure she had a place to put her bags until we arrived. The apartment became a home away from home and was a perfect location for us for all that we wanted to do. There also were some incredible restaurants and shops in the area if you wanted to go somewhere nearby. I will recommend Brendan's listing to any friend I know coming to NYC.

The apartment was clean and as pictured. We did not spend a lot of time in it during the day but we slept very well during the two nights we were there. Definitely a place to come back to.

The size of the apartment is perfect for 2 couples. Brendan was very helpful. It was especially nice that the check-in and check-out was flexible.

The two bedrooms are at opposite ends and both were very clean and comfortable. Great restaurants nearby. This is an amazing location and I would definitely stay again!

L'appartement est conforme à la description, très propre et très bien agencé. Sa situation géographique est un gros plus afin de visiter la ville (très proche du quartier financier, chinois et italien), de plus plusieurs stations de métro sont très proches. Mention spéciale au sujet du confort des lits. Pour résumer : hôte génial, appartement génial, ville géniale.

Jun 27, 2019The location was great. Easy to access the subway. Loved the markets of Chinatown, just blocks South and Little Italy. Place was small for 2 kids in their early 20's and 2 adults. Very small bathroom. Be prepared to walk 3 flights of stairs. Brendan was available to us if we needed him.
Jun 27, 2019The location of the apartment is excellent. It's in the middle of everything or close to subway or walking distance to wherever you need to be in the village. The location is quiet enough for our babies to sleep and for us to sleep soundly. The apartment itself is up 3 flights of stairs which are a little run down. It was clean (kitchen except stove top had grease which was wiped off easily and bathroom) however the floor was unswept and the sheets had stray hairs on them, maybe from laundromat driers. The apartment consists of two rooms with the kitchen small living and small bathroom with bath inbetween. Overall it was a ok stay however cleanliness could be improved. Thanks!

He is great with communicating and was readily available if we had any questions or needed additional supplies (which we did not end up needing). The place itself was very nice. It was in a fantastic location. Very central to everything. I would definitely stay here again!
Jun 27, 2019Great spot to stay so much within walking distance, food, bars, shopping. Subway 5 mins walk and easy to use, maps available and could get to a lot of the well known spots. Once we arrived Brendan very easy to contact & met us with extra supplies, thanks for help with suitcases. Apartment very neat & tidy we didn't spend a lot of time "in" plenty of towels and other buts & pieces. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for a great experience.

We stayed there for three nights to see New York City and the location and the neighborhood was perfect to get everywhere very quick and reach great dinner places. Also Brendan was very nice and opened. He gave us a great offer to store our luggage at the last day till the afternoon when we departured from New York. Anytime again!
Jun 27, 2019Brendan did everything possible to make this a good trip for my family. We had travel problems (thanks Amtrak!) and were thus four hours late, with Brendan waiting to give us keys. He made sure we were able to get in easily, which was a relief after a LONG train trip with two kids. The place itself served perfectly as a home base for some quick touring of the city, in a neighborhood filled with good places to eat. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben: sauber, klein aber sehr schön eingerichtet und für vier Personen vollkommen ausreichend. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit in New York!
Jun 27, 2019This place was perfect! My mother, sister, and I were in town for a quick weekend trip. The place totally suited our needs. The neighborhood is very quiet, and everyone I interacted with was very nice. Brendan was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed, very friendly guy who didn't mind getting random text questions:) Anything you want or need is within a block; Whole Foods is about a 5 minute walk. I was being adventurous and took the Air Tran and subway and it took me an hour to get there from JFK. Mom and sister trained to Penn and it was about a 20 minute cab ride from there. I would totally stay here again!

Brendan was very flexible and even let us drop our bags at his apartment before check in. Jun 27, 2019Brendan was on top of the communication with us throughout. Flat was a bit smaller than what it looked like in the pictures - very narrow but good sized bed rooms. This place is all about LOCATION. Nolita is the place to be. Kitchenette was adequate with basic necessities. Construction next door was noisy throughout the day during the week, quiet on the weekends. Looks like construction will continue for several months (large condo project).

Jun 27, 2019I would highly recommend Brendan's place because of its location. Subway stations are really close by as well as must-go chinese restaurants. My family and I were able to go visit places in the morning, come back at noon for a short nap, and continue our visit in the afternoon. BTW, the place is also right next to soho for those who like to shop.
Jun 27, 2019To guest: If you still hesitate, don't please! I took several weeks to choose the place in Manhattan, finally i was lucky to stay here! Brendan is very good host and he love to help the guest as possible as he can. The apartment is very good which locate in the heart of Manhattan, just 2 minutes to every subway station. I want to emphasis one of advantage of the room, the two BR was separated by a living room which keep the privacy, if you stay with your friends, that is really good. To Brendan, we had amazing time in NYC, appreciate so much for your place!

Jun 27, 2019Brendan was a great host! We got to New York pretty early in the morning and he let us leave our bags in the apartment while it was finishing being cleaned. We really enjoyed where the apartment was located and it was close to a lot of sight-seeing and the subway. The space was a nice size and the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely suggest staying here while in New York!

Jun 27, 2019Everything went great during our stay here. Arrived to a clean apartment. Brendan was quick to get us inside and give us the tour and let us know how to get in and out of the location. He checked in during out stay to make sure we had everything we needed. It's close to several popular dining spots and also close to other excellent choices you may not be aware of. Also, very quick to subways to get around town. Brendan was also helpful in giving us some additional ideas on things to check out while in town. Overall, this made my first visit to NYC a very good experience. Thanks!

Jun 27, 2019Brendan was incredibly responsive and supportive. He catered to all our needs incl. storage of our luggage even many hours after check-out. His place is perfectly located in Nolita very close to a number of cool bars, restaurants and nice shops. Current construction works in the backyard made it a bit noisy but the flat with its two full-blown bed-rooms can generally be highly recommended for a stay in the heart of Manhattan.

Jun 27, 2019The neighbourhood was awesome. We were in the Center of all of the areas of New York that we wanted to visit. Greenwich village, east village, soho, little Italy, were all within walking distance. If we wanted to go anywhere else in New York, the subway was very easy to use and stations were only a few blocks away. The apartment was nice and we were able to stay with another married couple comfortably. Great experience!

Jun 27, 2019Brendan was a wonderful host! Our flight arrived early in the morning and he let us keep our bags at his apt until our rental was ready. He also hauled one of our heaviest bags over while we were out to lunch at a wonderful Italian eatery that he recommended in the neighborhood. The apt was exactly as pictured and was clean and had all the amenities we needed. He was quick to respond to any questions via text. We all really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back to Brendan's place!

Jun 27, 2019Party of 4, stayed for 3 nights. Great apartment, exactly as described. Comfy beds. Lovely location in lower manhattan, just a couple of blocks across from Broadway. 10-15 min subway ride uptown to Times Square, Bryant Park etc from Prince St or Spring St stations. Very small bathroom but wasn't a problem at all. 3 flights of stairs and no elevator which I struggled with being pregnant but I was also aware of this before our stay. Very cosy apartment, we spent very little time here as we were out and about. Would be a squeeze to all watch Tv or eat in the apartment but I doubt many people would be doing that anyway if visiting on a city break. Wasn't an issue for us as we always ate out. I would definitely recommend this apartment. Brendan was really friendly and easy to contact, fast to respond.

His place is in a perfect location- near the Kool areas like Soho and the Village but also near multiple subway stations to help you get around. I think you get a much more authentic NYC experience staying here than in a hotel. Beds are comfortable-- and just a great place!

Jun 27, 2019Our train arrived at Penn Station at 8:45 AM. Our room wasn't going to be free until about 2 PM, which is totally reasonable. We were worried about what to do with all our suitcases, but Brendan allowed us to store them at his personal residence, a short walk from the rental. That saved us a lot of money and time, and freed us up to get out and tour the city. On our departure day, he again let us store our baggage at his place after checkout. We toured the Met, then went and got dinner in Little Italy, which is just a couple blocks from Brendan's place. Everything was just super convenient and easy to work with. Brendan is cheerful, helpful, easy-going. The room was clean and comfortable, and plenty spacious. Highly recommended for a great experience in NYC!

Jun 27, 2019We stayed for 4 nights at Brendan's place. Everything was nice and ready at our arrival, Brendan was available, quick to answer and very helpful. We loved the charm of the place (the red brick on the wall), the proximity of the subway stations, supermarkets. You can easily do some shopping in Soho or go to Little Italy or Chinatown, it is right around the corner ! The WiFi is good and you can cook your own food if you want. Will do again !

The apartment itself was very clean and well furnished. The two bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom had everything you would need and our stay was extremely comfortable. The best part was the location, with loads of shops and places to eat within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again the next time I visit New York.
Jun 27, 2019We loved the location of Brendan's place and I'd be happy to stay there during another trip. The photos give a very accurate representation of the apartment. It is up 3 flights of narrow stairs in sort of dirty hallways but it wasn't a problem at all. The apartment is upstairs above a restaurant that looked nice and did a brisk business although we didn't end up eating there. The neighborhood was great - it is a residential street with cute boutiques and eateries. We walked to STOMP (had great Risotto dinner beforehand) and to 911 Memorials and to the Brooklyn Bridge and NYU - all within 1/2 hour walk. Little Italy and Chinatown are within a few blocks. Whole Foods is 3 blocks away and Dean & Deluca the opposite direction and a CVS is a block away so food and incidentals are easily taken care of. There was construction next door so that noise was present from about 8 a.m. onward but not a problem for us. Several metro lines are available within about 3-5 blocks - getting home after seeing Broadway shows was easy. Yelp gives 4.5 stars to many of the local eateries so lots of choice. We had a car and had reserved a spot at a garage on-line beforehand. Access was very easy from coming in via Holland Tunnel. We stayed in the winter and the apartment has steam heating (which seems typical for the area) so apartment was quite warm - we had to ditch our sweaters when in the apartment. The place is very narrow and the bathroom was tiny. We were a family of 4 with 2 big teen boys and apartment worked fine for us but we didn't try to eat anything other than breakfast or snacks in the apartment - there are only 2 stools in the kitchen. We wanted to use our AppleTV but the TV is an older model without HDMI. It is large and there is cable. We appreciated that there was a closet with plenty of hangers in each bedroom as well as plenty of drawer space so we could stash our clothes away and not have to live out of a suitcase. The kitchen was well stocked with miscellaneous spices, coffee, tea and such. Brendan was very responsive to communications and happy to accommodate us with storing our bags when we arrived early before the apartment had been cleaned. We didn't need any help during out stay but definitely felt that Brendan would have been there to help us out if we needed recommendations etc. Overall we would highly recommend this apartment.

Jun 27, 2019Really brilliantly located appartment - for bars, restaurants and shopping! Small apartment but perfect for a city break or work. Do note you have to climb three flights of quite steep stairs! It's a bit noisy - but that's because it's in a fun, bustling neighbourhood. Brendan was a great host - even coming round at 11pm to bring electric heaters when the heating broke due to works next door.

Jun 27, 2019Brendan is nice. Always available and with a quick response eventhough he was out of the city. Communication was fluid and he is really understanding. We went in a family trip for five days. With two teens, no babies. The apartment is placed in a nice and trendy neighborhood with many restaurants and small lovely shops around. Subway is really close to the apartment. We didn't took any taxi because we didn't need it. The weather was really cold at those days at NY but Brendan's apartment has a very good heating. The street is quite by night. We slept very well. At the date we were there, was a construction at the corner but they started to work around 8am, at that time we were already awake to see the city. Beds are really comfortable and bedrooms are not connected, are in the oposite side of the apartment, good point. Kitchen is practical and sitting room has a big size TV, and the sofa is comfortable, from my point of view, a bit small for 4 adults. Building has no elevator. For us it wasn't a problem. The stairs of the portal and the common areas need a bit cleaning. To resume, Brendan is fully trustworthy. The most important point to me. The apartment is really well placed and connected, and all of this compensate the very small issues it has.

Jun 27, 2019Brendan may not want to hear this, but this is a great apartment for families. It's a quick walk to Little Italy for gelato and Chinatown for stuff we don't need. The kids loved both. Great restaurants nearby where the staff were lovely to us even though Yelp proclaimed them to not be "kid friendly" (we ate early). Two large comfortable bedrooms/beds separated by the kitchen, bath, and living room. The apartment and rooms were clutter free, so there were lots of places for my kids to put (and hide their things). A bathtub for the kids was a huge plus. Clean and plenty of room. Brendan is responsive and had great restaurant recs. It's a walk-up but my kids were champs about it.

Three of us stayed in the apartment for a week and it was very comfortable and there was everything we could need. Some great restaurants within walking distance and a restaurant just downstairs which had nice food and great service or you could just have a drink. SoHo, Little Italy, Chinatown all within walking distance. Some great shopping too. Brendan was great with communication and responded almost immediately each time we needed to contact him. We also arrived late at night (1.30am to be exact) and Brendan made it easy for us to check-in. We had a great stay and I don't hesitate in recommending Brendan's place.

If you are a light sleeper I would suggest the back room since you can hear all the street noise from the front bedroom. The apartment had everything we needed and was in a great location. I would definitely stay at Brendan's place again.

If you are lucky enough to score his place, you will be inundated with options for food, drinks, dessert, and have the ultimate luxury in accessing the subway because of its fantastic location. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and was very accessible for anything we needed. He also put us in touch with a friend who was a concierge so we could ask any questions about what to see and do. The Airbnb made our trip one of the best ever!

Jun 27, 2019Location location location. If you want to know what it feels like living downtown, stay here. Nolita is close to everything and a subway away from everything. We barely used the apartment - just to rest and sleep. A/c units in the bedrooms worked well. Our favorite neighborhood eateries - officina Latina, cafe habana, the coffee place across the street (forgetting the name), the bar downstairs (not emporio, the other tiny one). A tiny bit more of a walk - Balthazar, Bens famous pizza for a quick slice, Lupa, and Rauols. Didn't meet Brendan, our host, yet he ensured we received the key and had what we needed. Almost immediately would respond to our messages, which was really nice.

Jun 27, 2019I had a great stay at what I would consider the perfect location and in the best place I needed to stay for my first visit to New York City. I rented Brendan's place for five days and was more than satisfied. Bathroom was clean, Kitchen had all the necessary appliances needed for cooking, and the place was in a great location for transportation and dinning out. To give some perspective on size: We had one person in each of the two bed rooms, one on an air mattress and shared one bathroom but still felt like everyone had enough space and privacy to enjoy our stay when we needed to sleep or eat. Brendan was a great host. He maintained a lot of clear, respectful and responsive communication for my entire stay. I would absolutely recommend his place to others and I will certainly consider staying here again if I find myself back in New York City. Thanks again Brendan.

May not be the best for those of you who aren't a fan on climbing steps to the third floor. Not a problem for us, just an FYI! Brendan was great to communicate with and would definitely recommend.

Jun 27, 2019Cet appartement est parfaitement situé, à distance de marche de presque tout! C'était propre et fonctionnel. Il est situé au 3e étage toutefois et il n'y a pas d'ascenseur donc pas idéal pour les gens moins en forme, ce qui n'était toutefois pas notre cas, donc ce ne fut pas un problème pour nous. Brendan avait laissé des indications claires, et était disponible au besoin. Le restaurant Emporio situé tout juste en bas de l'appartement était une très belle découverte...absolument délicieux!! Pour le stationnement, il y a quelques stationnements publics aux alentours, dont certains qu'on peut même réserver et payer à l'avance. Laissez votre voiture bien stationnée durant votre séjour, et privilégiez la marche, le métro ou le taxi, car la circulation à NY est difficile en voiture! Bref, je recommande cet appartement sans hésiter, surtout que les logements à deux chambres sont plutôt rares (ou très chers)... Merci Brendan!

The house is perfectly situated in Nolita/SoHo, among fantastic restaurants and shopping, and close to subway stations. The apartment is small, but beautifully kept - everything was clean, the kitchen and bathroom were stocked, beds were comfortable, and the TV was an added bonus. Just beware the apartment a walk-up and three stories up, so you'll have to carry any luggage up and down stairs. We enjoyed our stay immensely and definitely recommend it for your next trip!

Loud noises from streets + restaurant backyards - no problem for us as we were all sleeping tight. Can get cold during fall/winter. Slightly unusual heating system that can be a little noisy but you get used to it - and the apartment is up three flights of stairs so you’ve got to carry your suitcases up! Only issue if you go winter there is a little bit annoying noise from the radiators but the apartment was very very hot for the cold nights with -8C degrees. For sure I will choose this apartment next time to NY.
Jun 27, 2019Kurz zu der Reise Gruppe - eine Frau, zwei Männer Die Wohnung war super. Die Aufteilung, mit den beiden Schlafzimmern auf der jeweils entgegen gelegenen Seite des Wohn-/Gemeinschaftsraums war für unser Gruppe perfekt. Genügend Privatsphäre. Das Bad war gut ausgestattet. Die Küche hatte alles was man braucht (keine Spülmaschine). Bisschen mehr Besteck wäre gut gewesen hat aber vollkommen gereicht. Als Unterkunft, für uns als verwöhnte Deutsche, sehr zufriedenstellend. Der größte Pluspunkt allerdings war die Lage. Ein kleiner Lebensmittelladen die Straße runter (aber nicht günstig – an der 33rd Straße ist ein Target wo man alles nötige bekommt) und die U-Bahn Stationen Spring Street, Lafayette oder Bowery Station. Spring und Bowery waren unsere ansicht nach die wichtigsten. Von Spring Street aus mit der Linie 6 entweder nach Norden zur 33rd Street (nahe Empire State Building), 42nd (Grend Central), 59th (Stück östlich vom Central Park) oder mit der Linie 4 nach Süden Fulton Street raus und man ist nahe World Trade Center. Bowery perfekt für die An- und Abreise. Die Linie J und Z verbinden diese mit der Airtrain (Linie Rot) mit dem Flughafen JFK (Fahrzeit insgesamt rund 1:30 Stunde). Ihr braucht eine Metro Card (7 Tage 33 USD und ein Ticket für die Airtrain 5 USD) die ihr dort am Automaten lösen könnt. Eine Karte kann für beides genutzt werden. Als Alternative zum Hotel definitiv empfehlenswert. Als Gastgeber, war Brandan ebenfalls sehr zuvorkommend. ----- Briefly to the travel group - one woman, two men The apartment was great. The layout, with the two bedrooms on the opposite side of the living room/common room, was perfect for our group. Enough privacy. The bathroom was well equipped. The kitchen had everything you need (no dishwasher). A little more cutlery would have been good but was quite all right. As accommodation, for us as spoiled Germans, very satisfactory. The biggest advantage, however, was the location. A small grocery store down the street (but not cheap - at 33rd Street is a Target where you can get everything you need) and the subway stations Spring Street, Lafayette or Bowery Station. Spring and Bowery were the most important ones from our point of view. From Spring Street, take Line 6 either north to 33rd Street (near Empire State Building), 42nd (Grend Central), 59th (east of Central Park) or Line 4 south to Fulton Street and you are close to World Trade Center. Bowery perfect for arrival and departure. The J and Z lines connect them with the Airtrain (line red) and the JFK airport (travel time about 1:30 hours). You need a Metro Card (7 days 33 USD and a ticket for the Airtrain 5 USD) which you can buy there at the vending machine. A card can be used for both. Jun 27, 2019I was here with my boyfriend, my sister and her husband. It is perfect for two couples. This part of Manhattan is great and we felt safe all the time. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Few subway stations are just few minutes walking from the apartment. The location is perfect! Everything is so close with subway and even by walking distance. Brendan is great host. He was very helpful and he approved late check out beacuse of our evening flight. We are very grateful and we definitely recommend this place!

Jun 27, 2019Great location. Very nice Apartment. Absolutely more then we had expected for the price. Nice neighborhood. Everything you need is in walking distance (Whole Foods, CVS, lot‘s of cool Bars & Restaurants). Brendan was a great Host! Fast answers, great tips for things to see and do in the area. We had some problems with our flights, both on arrival and departure and Brendan was a great help and very flexible with the check-in and check-out. We highly recommend his place and would absolutely stay again at Brendans Apartment

Jun 27, 2019What an amazing location. Right in the heart of restaurants, bars, shopping and so close the subway. The place was three flights up, which was fine, and it was relatively spacious and very clean. Bathroom was tight, but the bedrooms were plenty big, and both had windows that could open! We had a great time, would definitely return.

Jun 27, 2019We had an excellent stay at Brendan's place. The apartment looks exactly as portrayed in the pictures. Its key strength is its location right in the middle of Nolita which is close to Soho, The Village, Little Italy and we even walked uptown! You need to take into account that the apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator. Also, we came to eat out so had no problem (Try the Italian which is right in the same building! by the entrance), if more than two want to eat in the apartment - it could become a challenge as there is no space for that. As I said, when you visit NYC and you have a café two steps away and lots of restaurants all around, that should not be the issue. Brendan is an excellent communicator in the sense that he reacts immediately to anything you asked (before and during our stay) and doesn't nag at all! Thanks for a great time in NYC!

Jun 27, 2019Fantastic apartment in a great neighbourhood. Checkin and checkout were easy and Brendan's communication was excellent. Apartment has loads of room and was very pleasant to stay in. Location couldn't have been better - Nolita is ideal for getting the subway to pretty much anywhere, and very walkable to lots of Manhattan. We enjoyed lots of Brendan's restaurant tips as well. Would definitely stay here again!
Jun 27, 2019A great apartment in a great location. It is compact but felt spacious for 3 people, I'm sure it would for 4 too. Very easy to pick up the keys. Brendan checked in to see if everything was ok, which was nice. He also left milk etc in the fridge for us on arrival. The air con worked really well (much needed in July!) but was a bit noisy at times. Apart from that, a great stay.

Jun 27, 2019Brendan place is exactly as you can see it in the picture. It's nice, cosy and it look like a classic NY apartment. It makes you feel living not as a tourist in NY. We found all the ncecessary, to make coffee or cook something. The place was clean and it's situated in a perfect location. Between Soho and Nolita. Just 10 minutes walking to the supermarket (Whole Food market) and very closed to different subway. I reccomend Brendan's place! If I have to recriminate something: just the noice of the air conditioning. But if you are tired after a long walk around NY it won't bother you!

Jun 27, 2019Location location location. I doubt there is a better area to stay in Manhatten. Close to everything we walked everywhere and didnt use any public transport. food and drink options right outside your door are numerous and all of great quality. The Fiat cafe serves up great italian food and the Thai next door was fantastic. Parisi bakery over the road has probably the best sandwiches ive ever eaten, you have to try 'The Dennis', amazing! Great coffee for Gimme Coffee directly opposite the apartment. Great to see hardly any chains mostly all independants both shops and eateries, SOHO is just round the corner for upscale shopping and all the usual suspects are there. The apartment is a great size and very clean and functional, there was only 2 of us but 4 could stay comfortably. Everything you need for your stay is in the apartment. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldnt hesitate to stay again on future trips.

Jun 27, 2019Perfect location for exploring lower Manhattan. Centrally located and a great restaurant just downstairs. The apartment itself was perfect for our family of 4 (we have a 1 and a 4 year old and everyone slept well). The walk up isn’t hard, but the stairs are a bit steeper than usual.

Jun 27, 2019Brendan's place was the perfect solution for us! I was traveling with my family and we had a great stay. The two rooms are spacious and the house is perfect for 4 people. The bathroom is small but if you know NY its just normal :) The house its just like in the photos, it's a warm place and very functional. The location is just PERFECT to explore the city. I know NY pretty well and really wanted to stay in this area, You can walk to a lot of great places and have different metro lines close by to move all around. Lots of good restaurants, bars and shops. Best choice! Brendan is always reachable and ready to help. The house has everything you need and the kitchen is perfect for good breakfast to start your day. I would definitely stay here again next time and suggest to others!

We spent almost a month and nothing was inconvinient, very quiet neighborhood but also middle of the soho. I just liked this place so much it’s like home home :)
