Located on the border of two of Montreal’s hippest neighbourhoods (Mile End and the Plateau Mont Royal), this apartment is only a minute away from your choice of restaurants, bars, shops, boutiques, grocery stores, an SAQ (for buying wines and liquor) and pretty much everything you could possibly want. There are also several parks nearby, including Mont Royal, for which the city is name. NOTE: The bedroom sleeps 2 (double bed) and the living room can sleep another 2 (queen-size air mattress).

The apartment has beautiful hardwood floors and lots of natural light. The kitchen is large and sunny, with a table seating 6. It is fully equipped (fridge, stove, oven, toaster oven, blender, hand blender, mixer, etc.), and has all the spices and basics you would need to make a home-cooked meal, should that be your preference. Off the kitchen in the rear of the apartment, you’ll find one of the two patios, where you can enjoy the afternoon and evening sun. The living room is warm and inviting, with super comfy couches, a TV and DVD player, and a door leading to the front balcony. The bedroom is large and sleeps two in the double bed, and there’s room for a Pack ‘n Play, for those with little ones. There is also a queen-size air mattress, which can be used in the living room to sleep two more. (If you would like the air mattress set up for your arrival, please let me know in advance.) Check In Check in time is 3 pm. Early check in will need to be arranged in advance. Check Out Check out time is 11 am. Should you wish to stay beyond 11 am, please arrange this in advance. Windows and Doors Please note that not all windows in the house have screens. For fresh air, please only open the windows that have screens in order to avoid an invasion of insects. Please make sure all windows and doors are locked upon checkout. Air Mattress If you would like the air mattress set up before your arrival, please let me know. If you would like the living room clear, feel free to set it up yourself. It is quite easy as the air pump does all the work for you!

The apartment is a block away from the intersection of two main streets, Mont-Royal Ave and St Laurent Blvd. Wander east, and within minutes you hit St. Denis, another great street for window-shopping or people-watching. To the north, you have the trendy Mile End with its main streets, Laurier, Fairmount, St-Viateur, and Bernard. Walk west and you can venture to Parc Avenue and the Mountain (Mont Royal). And, if you like discovering a city by walking, you can enjoy the Quartier des Spectacles to the south (where all of the festivals are held), Parc La Fontaine (to the south east), Outremont (to the north and west of Mile End), and Little Italy and the Jean Talon Market (north of Mile End). Should you prefer using public transit, Laurier and Mount Royal metro stations (both on the orange line) are each about an 7-10 minute walk. Once on the metro, you can be in Old Montreal or downtown within 10-15 minutes. There are also buses traveling east-west on Mont-Royal Ave, north on St-Laurent

You will have access to the entire apartment except for a closet in the bedroom and a spare room with my personal effects. In lieu of the closet, you can use the dresser and a rolling garment rack.
