On the other side of the interior staircase, the kitchen (26 sq m or 270 sq ft) is custom designed by a local master carpenter. The kitchen block, with a dishwasher and a ceramic hob integrated, is covered with Silestone (natural quartz) and illuminated with a hanging lamp created by designer Christian Haas. An oven integrated, a washing machine and a dryer are housed in the main cabinet. Porcelain tableware is also designed by Christian Haas. The kitchen is extended by a 10 sq m (106 sq ft) terrace overlooking a small private garden (50 sq m or 540 sq ft) accessible by a wide metal staircase. You can take your meals in 4 different spots: in the lounge, around the kitchen block, on the terrace or in the garden. At the top of Rua do Almada, this renovated house keeps the typical atmosphere of the historical center of Porto (stone, interior shutters, ceiling height...), classified as a World Heritage site by Unesco. The district is in the heart of downtown : shops, design or vintage boutiques, bars and restaurants and metro are all nearby. In a few minutes walk, you can reach emblematic historical places of the city re : Praça da Liberdade, Rua das Flores, Sé Catedral, Clérigos, Lello bookshop ... The Douro river is about 10 minutes walk.

From the airport, it will take you around 20 minutes by taxi to reach the house. We may book a taxi for you is wished, and the driver will wait in the arrivals area with the guest's name (fixed price 22€). The metro runs every 20 minutes, and takes 30 minutes to arrive. Each guest needs to buy an Andante Card, and charge with a Zone 4 (Z4) trip. Don't forget to validate before entering the metro. Please take metro line E, direction Estadio Dragão/Campanha and exit at Trindade metro station. Then, you just need to climb the street Alferes Malheiro until Almada street, and turn to your left. The house is a couple of meters down, on the left side.
