Cozy studio with very high ceilings - room with a double bed, big enough for travelers planning on doing a lot of exploring! Right between St-Denis and St-Laurent - the two lively restaurant and bar streets in the entertainment district of Montreal. You'll have the whole studio to yourself. It's not huge, but it's enough for 2 people (you have one double bed though!). There's a bathroom with a shower and toilet. You're free to use the kitchen - the fridge, stove and microwave. I will be out of town - but always reachable via phone or online communication. I know my place well, so don't hesitate to reach me if you need anything :) The apartment is located in the heart of Montreal downtown/the plateau - it's perfect for a weekend getaway to this beautiful city. Neighborhood Overview
The apartment is located in the heart of Montreal downtown/the plateau - it's perfect for a weekend getaway to this beautiful city. Some of my favourite places around are: - La Distilerie - fancy cocktails across the road - Nexus Smart Bar - video game bar downstairs - Cinko - retro bar with $5 food! - Sushi St-Denis - all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant (remember, lunch is cheaper than dinner!) - Cafe Gitana - cigar and shisha bar - Les Trois Minots - karaoke bar with a fun atmosphere and cheap drinks, open till late - Moosebawr (a little bit further away but worth it) - super Canadian bar with large beers and wonderful sangria jugs

Transit
Location is perfect - walkable everywhere. But if you want to go further out of downtown, it's a 5 minutes walk to metro Berri-UQAM (orange & green lines), Sherbrooke (orange line), and St-Laurent (green line). There's also night busses from all directions that go all night (metro closes at 12 or 1, depending on the night!).
Access
You'll have the whole studio to yourself. It's not huge, but it's enough for 2 people (you have one double bed though!). There's a bathroom with a shower and toilet. You're free to use the kitchen - the fridge, stove and microwave.

The studio is nice and comfortable, located just next to rue Saint Denis. Maria was very helpful and responsive. She prepared everything perfectly:) We had no problems with finding the place and move around.
Jun 27, 2019As for location, you can't get any better! It's in the heart of Montreal. A short walk from le Vieux Port/ Old Montreal (1.5km with a slight hill). Be forewarned that since it's in the middle of downtown, it's not going to be quiet.This is no fault to the hostess, just that this city rarely sleeps - which, depending on who you are is a blessing or annoyance. Laundry is 10 blocks away since the hostess isn't in town, the sheets may not be clean so you'll have to do them yourself. Maria is always available via text so very helpful. If you drive, underground parking is a block away. Rental bikes are also close by. I would definitely stay there again for a quick weekend visit to Montreal.

Jul 27, 2019Pros: Great location. Great host. Cozy studio. Bed is comfortable. Clean. Perfect to spend a night or two in. Cons: Not for light sleepers (loud fridge, loud entrance door that residents tend to slam).

Jun 27, 2019We had a great overnight stay here. The location is perfect and Maria had left us with everything we would need for a comfortable stay. She was very quick to respond when we had a question about parking. We would love to stay at Maria's again next time we're in Montreal :)

Jun 27, 2019Maria’s place was great! It's a great location, there are lots of bars/restaurants to choose from within a 2 minute walk. If you are coming in by bus, this spot is only a 3 minute walk from the station.
