Jun 27, 2019Very kind and always predisposed to help us in everything. It is a very nice apartment a few meters from the Galata Tower. It is an area with many bars and restaurants. the train and the metro are nearby. Highly recommended!
Jun 27, 2019Great location: near Galata tower, but our street was nice, clean and quiet. Absolutely gorgeous interior - antique & modern, stylish, cozy, incredibly comfortable for 5 persons. Great host - Ayse is very nice and patient person. First impression of the day - stay home, don't get walk, just seat on sofas, read books, look at the window to people's stream, drink tea, because apartment is so cool. That apartment was definitely help us to fall in love on the city. Thank you so much!
Jul 27, 2019Nice flat in an old building - typical of the area, so you feel like a local. The flat has everything one may need and the location is superb. The neighborhood is lively and friendly to tourists. Ayse was a great host and readily available.

From the first contact, to check-out, she has been very friendly and helpful, so that the whole logistics went smoothly for the entire weekend we spent in Istanbul. The place itself is lovely, the location super central (you can see Galata tower from the comfy couch), and exactly as advertised. It's obvious that this is a home, which is a rare find these days on Airbnb, and we loved it! Couldn't have hoped for a better place, and warmly recommend it to everyone! Thank you so much, Ayşe! We'll be back for sure!

The apartment was beautiful, the beds comfortable, good shower, nice big table for meals and playing cards, big living space to hang out, good towels, great selection of literature, a washing machine and a PERFECT location! Ayşe and Reyhan were great hostesses, and shared lots of great local tips with us. We LOVED the location, being only 100 feet from Galata Tower. It was within walking distance to all the main hotspots, and the neighborhood itself was perfect! We would highly recommend booking this Airbnb!!! :) *note: there are a few flights of stairs to climb, so this is not the place for you if you're not cool with stairs / unable

Jun 27, 2019Ayşe was a great host! We were a party of four and we truly felt welcomed and comfortable at Ayşe's place. We found it was very clean and everything was easily set for us. The flat is very well located, just 1 min walk from Galata tower. The neighborhood is cool and has a variety of nice restaurants, cafes and shops to offer. The flat it self has a large living room, with very large sofas - perfect for lounging after a day of walking around. There were 3 well sized and comfortable bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped and Ayşe was kind enough to leave us a huge supply of mineral water for our consumption, as you should not drink tap water in Istanbul. We found this extremely nice and considerate of her. Bathroom was perfect and shower works nice. We stayed here in begging of October. The days were warm but the evenings were a bit cooler. Inside the flat we were not cold at any point. The only downside is having to climb up four flights of stairs, but that's the reality of staying in a flat in the older neighborhoods of Istanbul: no lifts. We welcomed the exercise to burn out some of the calories put in by all the baklavas... All and all a 5 stars experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ayşe's flat top my friends and family in the future.
Jun 27, 2019Fantastic location for Istanbul with some great cafes, bars and restaurants in a very short distance from the flat. It's in an old style block so while not shiny and new it does have great period features, equally large amounts of space in every bedroom, high ceilings and great spaces for dining and lounging. I hope to come back to Istanbul and I would love to stay here again. Perfect for a few friends to share.

The apartment was, as described, super spacious, fully equipped and homelike. Besides it’s perfectly located for discovering the vivid streets of Istanbul. Highly recommended!
Jun 27, 2019Lovely home, very large spaces and comfortable for a whole family. Small things like having travel adapters ready at home was very much appreciated. Ayşe was also extremely helpful with answering all our enquiries and even assisting us with a late check-in.
