It does not have heating as it states however as soon as we asked we were told they would bring us a heater asap. We were greeted nicely and introduced to the house and area. All in all very recommendable

Jun 27, 2019We had a great time in Oporto. The apartment is in the centre and very easy to walk to all sites as well as just explore the streets. It is well furnished, comfortable bed, very clean and everything you need for a comfortable stay. A relaxing space to recoup after a big day and a nice perspective of the city from the small balcony. Jun 27, 2019The apartment is beautiful, immaculate and well located, a short walk from Sao Bento station and walking distance from most sights in Porto and the riverfront. The welcome gift was appreciated, the kitchen was well equipped (although we ate out and didn't need to use it) and the apartment was exactly as described. Isabel was a gracious host who kept in good communication. There was a small issue with check-in (the concierge was late to drop off our keys) and if you are a light sleeper you may want to bring earplugs as noise from the upstairs neighbours tended to reverberate through the floorboards. Overall, it was an excellent base for our short stay in Porto (far more authentic and beautiful than a hotel room) and we would be happy to return. Thank you.

Jun 27, 2019Tout à fait conforme à a description!Isabel a répondu à toutes mes questions avant notre voyage. Séjour super. Emplacement très pratique pour visiter Porto. Très bel appartement, lumineux, bien décoré, propre, confortable. Nous avons apprécier qu'Isabel mette à notre disposition un lit parapluie pour notre fils. Petit bémol: le bruit de la rue! mais je crois que tous les appartements de Porto ne sont pas équipés du double vitrage. Si je devais revenir à Porto, je retournerai sans hésitation dans cet appartement.

Such a beautiful city whith a big culture offer. Although, it was really helpful the información about the city that fue agent told us.

Jun 27, 2019Our stay was very pleasant. The apartment was spacious and well equipped with fridge freezer, washing machine, hair dryer and kettle. The apartment was clean and located 3-5 minute walk from Sao Bento Railway station and 10 minute walk to the bus station. It is near all the major sites and a 15 minute walk to The Riberia with restaurants, boat trips and Port caves. The only suggestion would be for the concierge management, in that we were booked for a 15:30 check- in and were left waiting outside until 16:20 on the footpath/sidewalk until Louisa from the management company arrived, I understand traffic can be a problem, but would have appreciated a text or phone call as to the delay. I had to message the management service to find out any information and was only told someone was on the way - but no time indication. We asked where would we find a grocery store and again Louisa did not have this information, nor recommendations. The door to the apartment jammed and she could not get it opened, luckily my husband was able to 'pound' on the door to help us get in. When we tested the door to get out of the apartment again, she was unable to open the door. If my husband had not been with me, I or any women would not be able to get in or out of the apartment. Louisa said she would report this problem and hopefully, it will be resolved before the next people arrive. I would recommend this apartment when visiting Porto for location, and general facilities in the apartment.

Jun 27, 2019We had a pleasant stay and warm welcoming t the city by a nice reception, a city map and gifts. The street is a little bit noisy, you should make a compromise between quietness and distance to the city center trade off! There are only two points that you should notice before choosing this apartment: check-in is flexible, but after 14:00. 2. Under the house rules, the host requests to empty out the trash. It has been indicated that there is always a garbage deposit in the street nearby. We could not find it, on your check-in do not forget to ask the reception to show it to you!

Jun 27, 2019Great location really close to the station and in the middle of town. Based on previous reviews i was expecting a noisy street outside but after 10pm or so it's pretty quiet in that respect. One thing not mentioned in previous reviews however is the noisy floorboards of the upstairs neighbours. Being wooden and bare (the floorboards) we were hearing (and feeling the vibrations of) the neighbours very clearly and they stayed up till around 2am every night we were there.

Even before the trip Isabel assisted with any questions and was very helpful. In addition, despite arrival in the middle of the night we were welcomed by her in person. In apartment was wine, water for us and in bathroom shower gel and shampoo, it was exactly what we needed, because our luggage was lost and delivered only next day. Host is good, everything was ok. Porto is also lovely and very picturesque city, wish someday I'll be there again. I definitely recommend to stay here.

Jun 27, 2019El apartamento es amplio y muy bonito, tal y como aparece en las fotos. Es muy completo, sobretodo la cocina que está equipada con horno, microondas, tostadora y nevera grande. El lavabo es correcto y con plato de ducha. La cama muy cómoda. No es nada ruidoso. Está muy bien ubicado, está en el mismo centro, a 3 minutos de la estación Sao Bento y a 5 de Torre de los Clérigos, por lo que no necesitas transporte público para moverte. Como punto de mejora, que se pudiera dejar las maletas el último día en alguna habitación. Ha sido una estancia muy buena y ellos son muy atentos. Totalmente recomendable.
Jun 27, 2019We had a great time at the apartment of Isabel. The location was very nice, in close proximity to the supermarket and also nearby some points of interest. Everything is in walking distance. + very good beds! For future guests it would be best to have someone take a look at the shower drain, it does not flush properly. Regardless of that we had a fenomenal time in Porto and we sincerely recommend this apartment.

The location is ideally located within walking distance to transport & local shops (couple of minutes). Felt safe. Isabel is welcoming & very helpful. Would definitely visit again.

Jun 27, 2019Great location. Close to the river, nice shopping streets and restaurants. Very friendly pick up service yet with confusions regarding the adress. Nice, quiet and sunny apartment. We were there end of December, and it was not very well heated. It took us a few days to get it warm. Good price. Except for the misunderstanding at the pickup,everything was very well organized. All together, a pleasant experience.

Jun 27, 2019This is a very nice apartment, perfect for a couple or two friends willing to sleep in the same bed. The location is perfect; close to the old city center and within walking distance of just about anything you would like to see in Porto. The house was quite old so you can hear the neighbours (especially the ones upstairs) very well and there is also some noise from the street, but this is to be expected with such a centrally located apartment. Minor negative points: when we arrived, the place hadn't been cleaned yet so we had to hurredly leave our luggage in the apartment and go, so we didn't have time to relax or freshen up after our trip. But those are just details because when we came back, the place was very tidy. Communicating with the owner was very easy and someone waited for us at arrival to show us the apartment. All in all very nice experience in beautiful Porto! If I ever return, I will definitely book this apartment again.

Jun 27, 2019I would definitely return if we visit Porto again. Its very close to all public transits, including the metro and Sao Bento station. It was so conveniently located for us since we also traveled to Lisbon by train. The residence was only 2minutes away by walk from train station. Also at great walking distance to famous restaurants, to the Douro riverside, and to touristy areas. The check in check out process was super easy and accommodating. The house was clean, it looks exactly like the pictures. We would definitely come back!
Jun 27, 2019Dit was een geweldig appartement op een toplocatie. De transfer van het vliegveld naar de stad is aan te bevelen. Het appartement is ruim en echt schitterend. Het ligt middenin de stad en dus op loopafstand van alles. Wat dat betreft zijn we zeker niet teleurgesteld! Het is echt een aanrader! Ook de communicatie met de eigenaar verliep vlekkeloos. Wij stelden een vraag en we kregen erg snel antwoord. Super! Helaas waren er ook mindere zaken. Aangezien je in het midden van de stad zit kun je geluid en herrie verwachten van de buren, maar de bovenburen waren ronduit asociaal. Wij zaten er van maandag tot en met vrijdag en zij speelden elke avond knetterharde technomuziek. We konden vaak niet slapen en werden ons bed uitgetrild... Ook de transfer van het appartement naar het vliegveld was niet goed. De transfer was er 20 minuten na de afgesproken tijd nog niet en daarom hebben we een duurdere taxi genomen. Al met al is dit appartement zeker een aanrader, al hoop ik wel dar de bovenburen wel wat meer rekening met hun buren houden... 7,5/10!
Jun 27, 2019It is a great location to the city center. I recommend getting off at Sao Bento Subway or train station then walk down the hill and up towards a hill where the Sao Idelfonso church is. The apartment is a little hidden so just look for the number near the door. The actual room is well equipped and comfortable. I love the balcony's available. Highly recommend staying here if you're interested in staying in the center of Porto.

Jun 27, 2019Dejo el comentario de mis padres en su estancia: El apartamento es exactamente igual a las fotografías del anuncio y a su descripción. Es sencillo, acogedor, limpio y muy cómodo. Además está en la calle principal de Oporto, tanto que esa calle está anunciada en el aeropuerto. No tuvimos ningún tipo de problema o queja en nuestra estancia. Es totalmente aconsejable para pasar unos días en Oporto.

Jun 27, 2019We liked the apartment and its central location. The apartment itself was adequately clean and as pictured, but we found that the kitchen wasn't fully equipped as described. We ate in a couple of nights and found it difficult to cook, with no oven gloves or even bowls in the kitchen. Also, whilst the location was very good for sightseeing, the road is quite loud with a tram on it, but was fine at nightime. Overall, the apartment was reasonable with a good location, but there were a few drawbacks to our experience.

Jun 27, 2019Mieszkanie dobrze położone, w centrum. Przy hałaśliwej ulicy. Dla nas to nie był wielki problem, tylko, jak tramwaj piął się w górę ulicy, to nie można było rozmawiać. Taki koloryt lokalny. Wynajem prowadzony jest przez jakieś biuro, którego pracownicy słabo albo wcale nie mówią po angielsku. Generalnie komunikacja daleka od standardów Airbnb, bardzo bezosobowa. Naczynia wszystkie bez wyjątku tłuste, niedomyte. Butelka wina na dzień dobry bardzo miła !Dziękujemy!:) Bardzo wygodna sypialnia, wielkie wygodne łóżko i duża szafa. Blisko do starej turystycznej części miasta, ale też do centrum pełnego sklepów oraz Marcado de Balhau, polecamy. Piękny zabytkowy dworzec jest tuż obok, ale nie słychać pociągów z tego akurat apartamentu, za to przed dworcem zatrzymują się liczne autobusy. Generalnie dobre miejsce dla osób przyjeżdżających na 3-4 dni.

Jun 27, 2019Really great location and apartment was completely as advertised. Only drawbacks were that the apartment wasn't cleaned on arrival in the afternoon. It was however cleaned promptly thereafter. Also, the neighbour above was extremely noisy due to the thin ceiling but perhaps that is common of most apartments. Trouble-free stay otherwise.

Jun 27, 2019The location and interior of this apartment is amazing. We had a great time there, waking up and standing on the balcony above the busy street was priceless. My only comment would be that certain items need a good clean - the sofa, some of the towels and the blanket for example. The bathroom could also do with an upgrade, but it's perfectly functional.

La ubicación está en pleno centro, tienes todo andando. Muy limpio, bonito y un apartamento en el que sin duda viviría. Altamente recomendable!

Jun 27, 2019The people are very nice but this was not the best Airbnb experience. Keep in mind this is one of many apts managed by a business, not a private homeowner. I arrived before the 2p check-in time and I was able to grab the key earlier, but at their office, a 10-15 minute drive away. I went to the apt to drop off the luggage but the hosts hadn't told the cleaning crew we'd be coming by earlier, like I asked them to, so they were taken by surprise, and was obviously irritated we were there, only even for 10 minutes to freshen up before leaving. Between that and the clogged shower from day 1, loud upstairs neighbor who would consistently stomp overnight and wake me up, I had just an okay experience. However, the location is fantastic, the apt was fairly clean besides a couple stains on the bedding, and the wifi was fast.

Jun 27, 2019El apartamento es tal y como se muestra, con una ubicación excelente y todas las comodidades necesarias, Quiero agradecer y resaltar la buena comunicación y la solución inmediata que recibí ante un pequeño inconveniente. Es cómodo, muy luminoso y agradable para pasar unos días. Por poner una pequeña "pega", indicar la hora real de entrada al mismo, pues aparcar cerca aunque solo sea para dejar las maletas es algo complicado. Sin duda, si vuelvo, repetiría apartamento.

Jun 27, 2019Tolle Lage in der Altstadt, dadurch zwar auch etwas laut, aber ideal, was die Atmosphäre angeht! Das Haus ist ein Altbau, Charmant, aber eben auch hellhörig, wer also empfindlich ist, könnte schlecht schlafen...;-) Ansonsten entspricht die Wohnung 1:1 den Bildern, freundlich eingerichtet, nett! Allerdings würde ich nicht zu viert dort schlafen wollen, denn das recht betagte Sofa kann nicht wirklich als vollwertige Schlafgelegenheit gewertet werden....;-). Das Sesselsofa hingegen funktioniert als dritte Schlafgegelegenheit sehr gut.

Jun 27, 2019Das Apartment ist wirklich wunderschön und geräumig. Die Lage ist hervorragend zentral, so dass man zu den wichtigsten Punkten sehr gut zu Fuß kommt. Durch die Lage an der Straße ist es nicht immer ganz ruhig, es war aber auch nicht besonders laut. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos und die Kommunikation war immer gut. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dort buchen und kann es absolut empfehlen.

Jun 27, 2019Hemos pasado un fin de semana increíble. El apartamento está justo al lado de Aliados, la ubicación es inmejorable para pasar unos días en esta ciudad. La casa está genial, la cama es muy cómoda y todo es espacioso. No hemos utilizado la cocina pero se veía muy completa. Sin duda, me volvería a alojar en el mismo apartamento, por lo cómodo y lo céntrico que es. Además nos dejaron agua, vino y café, detalles que se agradecen muchísimo.
Jun 27, 2019Nuestra estancia ha sido desfavorable debido a los inconvenientes que hemos tenido en nuestra estancia..Cuando llegamos la casa estaba helada, no tiene calefacción y el primer día pasamos frío. Creo que deberían de acondicionarla antes de la llegada de los huéspedes. El segundo día no había agua caliente por lo que no nos pudimos duchar; tampoco funcionaba el frigorífico por lo que se nos estropearon algunos enseres que habíamos llevado para el desayuno. El tercer día se rompió el sofá cuando me fui a sentar. Y ya por último, se estropeó el grifo y no se podía cerrar, esperamos varias horas para ver si venía alguien a solucionar el problema y, al no venir nadie, nos fuimos dejando el grifo abierto ya que estábamos allí por vacaciones, no para solucionar problemas.... Si bien es verdad la respuesta a los problemas se fueron solucionando en el día con rápida respuesta pero el piso no aporta confort, le falta equipamiento y (Website hidden by Airbnb) lo recomiendo y por supuesto que no volvería a alojarme. En los años que llevamos alojandonos en apartamentos turísticos, esta ha sido la peor experiencia que hemos tenido. Agradecer a Martin que adelanto la hora del checkin. Lo único favorable es la ubicación que está cerca de todo.
Jun 27, 2019Estancia agridulce. El apartamento está genial, muy completo y en una situación inmejorable. Si vas en coche vale mas la pena aparcarlo en un parking y no volver a cogerlo hasta el último día. Esta todo cerca a pié. Hemos tenído problemas para que nos entregarán el apartamento. Teníamos la entrada prevista a las 15.00 desde hace mas de un mes, la sorpresa llega cuando al llegar a esa hora resulta que el apartamento estaba sin limpiar. Recalcar la amabilidad del chico que nos hizo la recepción y se le notaba incluso a él que esa situación no le agradaba. Nos dijo que podíamos dejar las maletas y que volvieramos en una hora. Una hora y media después al llegar al apartamento seguía sin limpiar. Tras 5 horas más deambulando por Oporto y habiendo llamado 4 veces sin solución alguna pudimos volver al apartamento ya limpio. Supongo que esta situación no será lo habitual pero no se puede dejar pasar sin comentarlo. A día de hoy no se si repetiría alojarme en este apartamento.

Jun 27, 2019Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce logement ! Appartement idéalement placé dans le centre, proche de tout - nous avons tout fait à pied. Jolie décoration, logement lumineux, propre et particulièrement bien équipé. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la disponibilité, la réactivité et la fiabilité de la conciergerie. Je recommande ce logement sans hésiter !

Jun 27, 2019Appartement bien situé les lieux de visite son a portée à pied , le métro est à une minute , des dizaines de restaurants tout autour et des commerces. L'appartement est propre et fonctionnel, lumineux et assez grand . Manque peut être une insonorisation plus efficace pour ceux qui ont le sommeil fragile. Si je doit retourner à Porto je retournerait volontiers ici .
Jun 27, 2019Emplacement Super. Tout se fait à pieds. Nous sommes arrivés vers minuit, et avons eu un très bon accueil. L'appartement est propre. Il y à une machine à laver. Il n'y avait pas de gel douche. La rue est peu bruyante mais comme l'appartement est mal isolé, les bruits de l'extérieur, et de l'appartement du dessus, sont présents, mais ça ne nous a pas empêché de dormir. Je recommande, si le bruit ne vous embête pas.

Jun 27, 2019Gostamos muito do apartamento. Muito bem localizado, fica perto da estação de trem e pode ir a pé a várias atrações. Bem decorado e aconchegante. Banheiro limpo e amplo. A cozinha é bem equipada e tudo é de muito bom gosto. Ficamos no segundo andar e não tem elevador, só para avisar em caso de mala pesada. Recomendamos o apartamento.

Jun 27, 2019Isabel’s place is in a perfect location for a long weekend trip to Porto, walking distance to all the restaurants and attractions. The place itself is very stylish and clean- a couple small improvements would have made it amazing, things like only have one wine glass, not having the right kitchen equipment and leaving the hand soap empty on arrival. Only small things would make such a difference. Saying that i wouldn’t have a problem staying here again.

En ce qui concerne la cuisine de l’appartement, il manque des équipements pour pouvoir se cuisiner un petit repas! Nous avons été accueillis par Joana qui nous a donné pas mal de bons plans. Globalement, bel appartement bien situé et jolie ville de Porto!

Jun 27, 2019L appartamento è in una posizione strepitosa! Bello! Confortevole! Con tutto ciò di chi si può avere bisogno .... e se non c’è.... basta chiedere... Isabel e Fernando faranno di tutto per aiutarti .L host è sempre raggiungibile e contattabile! Abbiamo avuto al check-in consigli su come muoverci ! E’ Al secondo piano senza ascensore quindi se qlc ha problemi con le scale questa è l unica nota negativa ma le scale sono di legno e non molto alte.

Jun 27, 2019Excellent location, central, next to rua de Santa Catarina (main commerce street in Porto). Walking distance for many tourist points. We used very little public transportation, which is easy to access. Very clean, stylish, convenient. Nothing to change. Very close to São Bento station (literally on the corner). The apartment is on the second floor (no elevator, as all historical buildings in Porto). There are two great windows with balcony in the living room, you can see the electric trams just in front. The guests (concierge service) was there in the correct for the check in, and quickly answered to all our questions. Definitely a great experience in Porto!

Jun 27, 2019Overall, the apartment was as advertised and was satisfactory for our purposes. The location was very convenient to the train station, restaurants, and a lot of the interesting places to see. We did have some issues with check-in regarding communication with the host and the timing of it, in addition to the apartment not being cleaned from the last guests when we finally were able to check-in. Bit of a bummer to come off almost 24hrs of travel without sleep and not being able to shower or take a nap before having to hit the city.
