Hide was a great host. The apartment was nice and cozy with amazing views of Waikiki. I surf so it was really easy to just look out the window to see how the waves were breaking and then decide to go surf or not. The apartment was also in a great location right in the heart of the action of Waikiki.

Jun 27, 2019Lovely place to stay. Apartment had pretty much everything you would need. Bedroom could do with an aircon though. View from inside and balcony was great. Hide was very kind and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment had everything you need and the views are wonderful both day and night. Our host was great and the easy to checkin and out. We arrived early and we were able to check in early too. Great to access facilities like rooftop pool and spa! Thank you Hide for wonderful stay.
Jun 27, 2019Had a great time during our stay here. The apartment was clean, cozy, and within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The view is amazing and the beach is steps away. Hide was very accommodating, and everything was very easy. He even allowed early check in. I would definitely do business with the host in the future. This made our first airbnb experience a great one!
Jun 27, 2019The place was nice, a bit smaller than expected (compared to the pics), but the view was amazing. The A/C was strong enough to fill the living room and even to the one bedrooms, so that was a plus. This unit was in a great location as well. The cons I have about this place was that there was an ironing board, but we couldn't locate or find the iron. The shower didn't have a plastic curtain to prevent the shower from going onto the floor. It usually left a giant puddle right next to the toilet. My fiance and I have slipped almost after every shower (twice a day for the week). Also, bring your own toiletries (including toilet paper). That is not included in this space. It may be located inside of a hotel, but its a private unit so the front desk will not help you out if you need anything. We also had to pay $25 a day for parking (there are ins and outs). For our first time using Airbnb, this was a still a great place to stay. I would love to stay here again!

Jun 27, 2019Amazing experience! The space is perfect. The bed was comfortable. The balcony on the 21st floor was an incredible place to watch the storms over Waikiki beach during Tropical Storm Darby. Very close to everything. Would definitely come back.

Jun 27, 2019Perfect. A lovely room with an amazing view and everything you need for your stay in Hawaii. The air conditioner was great and kept the room very cool. It's in a great location too, just a short walk from Waikiki beach. Hide welcomed us and showed us to the room. He was very responsive to messages as well which was very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this apartment!
Jun 27, 2019The location is amazing with a lovely view of Waikiki beach. Everything was there including beach umbrella and chairs. We had an early flight in and were able to get an early check in. Perfect size for a couple. Although we never met our host he checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this condo.
Jun 27, 2019Our stay in Waikiki was awesome - the location is great and the view fantastic with only a few minutes walk to Waikiki beach. The communication with our host was easy, fast and helpful and Check In efficient. We also always found a spot to park in the parking garage which otherwise would have been a hassle in Waikiki I guess. We would come back!

Jun 27, 2019Apartment view was great with little blocked view of the ocean. Bed was comfortable. The only downside is bathroom is a little tight and the shower tap is rather difficult to use. Otherwise it's awesome stay!

Jun 27, 2019Beautiful apartment 2 minutes walk from the main strip in Waikiki ! Perfect views of the ocean and mountains, only thing I would recommend is if you are arriving prior to check in with luggage find somewhere to store it as the hotel are unable to watch you're bags as you're a private guest! Other than that we had a wonderful stay! Thank you Hide :)

Jun 27, 2019We stayed at the apartment for 2 nights only. The apartment has a fantastic location only a block back from the center of Waikiki Beach. The views are fantastic from the 21st floor. I loved the big balcony most on the partment. The check-in was smooth and the apartment as described. This is the third time in Hawaii and I certainly prefer to stay in Hide's place over an hotel room on the Waikiki shore. I would certainly come back if the opportunity arises

Rooms were tidy and clean, room enough for the 3 of us, and an added bonus was the sun on the balcony for most of the day. Check in was easy and communication with Hide is exceptional. Will certainly stay again.

Would stay here again Hide gave us early check in as our flight arrived at 630am in the morning which was great.. GREAT PLACE TO STAY!

Jun 27, 2019The apartment looks bigger in the photos but is perfectly adequate for two people sharing or a couple. The separate bedroom has a bed that comes apart into two singles. The building is in a very convenient part of Waikiki, right in the heart of all the action and only a two minute walk to Waikiki Beach and the 'Dukes' statue. This landmark is a pick up point for all the tourist 'trolleys'. There's a well stocked supermarket a few minutes walk from the hotel. The apartment is on the 21st floor on a corner of the building so great views of the beach and the city. It is a bit noisy with the windows open at night as the noise travels up, but there's lots happening in Waikiki so noise is to be expected. The one air conditioner in the lounge works well but the cool air doesn't really travel into the bedroom. There is a pedestal fan in the bedroom though. The living room has two large windows that open wide, so probably not suitable for young inquisitive children for obvious safety reasons. Really nice rooftop pool and spa with great views. Also a laundry on the third floor. All in all a comfortable, convenient apartment right in the heart of Waikiki and good value for money. I'd definitely stay there again.

Jun 27, 2019Can't beat the location! As long as there's not a long wait for the elevator, it's a 5 minute walk from the room to the beach. There are many restaurants that you can walk to, as well as plenty of shopping. The view is very nice as well! The space was a little tight for 4 adults and luggage, but we were only there 3 nights and rarely in the unit. Everything seemed to be pretty clean. My one complaint was that the shower curtain in the bathroom was halfway falling off the hooks. Maybe it's just me but I hate having to touch shower curtains. Overall this seemed to be a very good value for the location. Hide also responded very quickly to any questions we had. I would stay here again if I took another trip to Waikiki.

Jun 27, 2019I love the view from the condo! The place is smaller than we thought but it was adequate to what we need. The location is super convenient - only two blocks from Waikiki beach. Tried to turn on the TV but couldn't but we didn't spend too much time in the condo anyway. One thing I would recommend is to have the paper towels in the kitchen. The check-in and out was very easy. Too bad the swimming pool was closed for maintenance at the time. There was one important thing we wish we knew before this trip was the present of jellyfish on the beaches. If you check (Hidden by Airbnb) for Oahu's Jellyfish calendar, you will find the dates of their likely presence. We were on the beach on Father's day and saw a group of men with buckets picking up more than 400 jellyfish within an hour. That was when we learned about it. This information might help you select your vacation dates to maximize your enjoyment and experience in Hawaii.

Jun 27, 2019The room has great view of the ocean. As the room is located on a corner, you have the mountain view as well. The room is fully equipped with what you need. Thanks to the nice breeze from the ocean, we did not need to turn on the AC. We did not have a chance to see the host, but he was very flexible and quick to reply to email. We'd love to stay this place again.
Jun 27, 2019Hides place has the most amazing view, from the minute you walk in you feel so lucky... It's in the best position, only a block away from the beach... There's a lot of eateries very close by and an ABC store a minutes walk away We got there early and Hide came and let us put our luggage in the apartment before our check in time whilst it was still being cleaned which was great Highly recommended

Jun 27, 2019The pictures don’t do the view justice!! The location is great, walkable to nearly everywhere but a bus stop across the street if needed. As others have mentioned, the bedroom is a little warm, but if you put the fan by the door it isn’t so bad. We plan to stay here again on our next trip if it is available.

Jun 27, 2019Hide’s apartment was wonderful. The location was very central. The view was beautiful. The balcony was a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a meal or drink. The air con was much appreciate after a day on the beach. The kitchen was of a suitable size and equipped with all utensils needed. The welcome cbocolate was a lovely touch. The pool and spa were lovely. Hide was quick to respond to all enquiries. We would highly recommend!
Jun 27, 2019Hides condo is great value compared to other condos hotels in the waikiki area. The condo is in need of a freshen up and curtains are broken and smelly as well in need of a repaint to bring it up from a 4 star to a 5 star. Location is just behind the Hyatt Regency with a view to die for. Hide's description and pictures of the condo are accurate but it may be a bit small for anymore than 3 people. The condo is located in the aqua pacific monarch which has no bells and whistles but is clean and secure. Hide was a great host with excellent communication and even allowed us to check in at 9.00am due to our early arrival. Enzo, Sydney, Australia

Jun 27, 2019We really enjoyed staying at Hide's apartment. It was bright and airy, beautiful and large patio with great views. The location is wonderful as you can walk to everything If I remember correctly it is on the 21st floor which gives you a nice vantage point looking over the city, ocean, and a bit of Diamond Head too. It was nice to have flat screen tv's in both the living area and bedroom. The check in process was very easy Hide provided all of the information well in advance and was very responsive to messages. I think the only things that were slightly disappointing was the phone and AC remote batteries were both dead and although we don't care for AC, it would have been really handy if the phone was working as I needed to make calls to book rental cars, reschedule flights, etc. I am now quite worried at what my cellphone charges might be! With fairness to Hide though, I did not mention this until after we had checked out. Also because we had not been to Oahu before, and are fairly new to AirBnB, I was hoping to have a book/binder as some hosts leave so that guests can refer to that for local information, maps, and information regarding the rental suite and how everything operates. The suite wasn't super stocked so I suggest to pop into the ABC store just down the block to pickup some essentials, I think they are open until 11pm or midnight. Overall we had a great time and if returning to Waikiki I would want to stay here again for sure!

Jun 27, 2019Location, location, location. Place was as advertised. It’s a small studio. The fan doesn’t help much in the bedroom. I slept on the sofa couch to be by the air conditioning. Walls are paper thin so you’ll hear neighbors. Not a big deal though. Rooftop area was great. Lanai was great. Awesome view of the mountains and ocean. Watched a surf competition from the lanai.

Jun 27, 2019Great location, fantastic view (better than shown on the listing), flexible host. However, it does not comfortably sleep 4, the sofa bed is past it's use-by date. Kitchen is understocked on utensils and crockery, for instance only one wine glass.

Jun 27, 2019Hide was very prompt with all communication and graciously let us move in early. Location and views were excellent and central to all that Waikiki has to offer. Apartment is as per the pictures although a little tireder. Bed and pillows very comfortable, reasonably stocked kitchen and two TV’s for entertainment.

Jun 27, 2019Hello, i like to say that we enjoyed to stay(family with two kids) in Hide sun’s place very much^^. It is not new but it is very clean and well stocked with items that you might need, if you not lazy to look in the cupboards lol. The one bedroom was as on the photos, very simple all as described and the view is amazing! If you wish to cook kitchen have all you need for that,but microwave is not working sadly. ^^ All in all that stay was very pleasant thank you very much ^^
