Neighborhood Overview
Pyrmont is just 2km from the Centre of Sydney's business district, a leisurely stroll across Pyrmont Bridge and Cockle Bay. The Jones Bay and Cockle Bay wharf restaurant precincts are within walking distance offering access to some of Sydney's best restaurants and nightclubs, including Flying Fish, Pontoon and Home, while event centres such as Doltone House and Dockside are nearby. Also located in walking distance are The Star casino, Sydney Fish Markets and IMAX. The Sydney Aquarium and Maritime Museum are both just over the bridge. There is construction going on in this building between the hours of 7am and 5pm. We have reduce the rates because of the potential for noise. Late check-out and early check-in is available where possible. You are staying at a friendly and peaceful neighbourhood area. Your help in keeping noise to a minimum is much appreciated between 10pm-8am. Excessive noise such as amplified music, vocals will cause neighbours to complain to the Building Manager or Council Rangers or Police. This could lead to an on-the-spot AUD200 fine and/or eviction of the property. This can all happen very quickly so your cooperation is very much appreciated. Sabrinas place was very spacious, located conveniently and mostly well equipped. It was perfect for exploring the city since it's connected well to public transport and you could also take a walk into the cbd. The only downside is the missing Wifi (which I was unaware when booking) but I guess this will be fixed soon since they just recently renovated the apartment. The apartment was very clean (only the windows and mirrors not 100%- not so important) Communication with Sabrina was easy and pleasant. Would recommend to stay here, especially a larger group of people or a family!

Jun 27, 2019Location was convenient to CBD (short cab ride about $10 or nice walk across Darling Harbor Bridge 15 min walk if you stop to watch people and the sites). Several restaurants are close by along with a larger Coles grocery market and liquor store right across the way. Great communication from Sabrina about the location, features and checking in. Sabrina reached out several times during the stay to confirm our stay was meeting our expectations. Apartment was very comfortable, well appointed and supplied.

Jun 27, 2019Stayed at Sabrina's place for almost a week. As I need to checked in early due to young kids, Sabrina was helpful in granting early check-in :) The place was neat and clean upon check-in. Initially there was only one heater and request to have extra heaters were met on the same day. Sabrina bought two new heaters and I am very thankful for that. Another good thing that happened was the new wifi installed ;) Location wise is very good. Minutes walk to Darling Harbour and the Central Station Light Rail. Bus 389 is round the corner to take you to the Sydney CBD which is only one stop away. Generally we enjoyed Sabrina's place and will go back again.

Highly recommend and will be returned for our next trip to Sydney.
Jun 27, 2019Sabrina was responsive to our questions and very helpful when we met; tea, coffee and milk had been made available on our arrival which was a really nice touch We arrived by car and they have a private parking bay underneath the apartments which was invaluable and made things so easy This is a great location and the description of the apartment and amenities are very accurate and of high quality and we could not fault anything When next in Sydney I will look to see if this apartment is available as a first choice
Jun 27, 2019Location of apartment was fantastic. Walking distance to The Star, Fish Market and Darling Harbour. The apartment was also very organised and clean. Loved that there was ample sunlight that passed through the apartment. Parking space was a little tight. Recommend to get a smaller car if you intend to rent one. There are certain things to take note, response from host was not very prompt. Asked for late check out several times and only managed to receive a reply after 3 texts and emails. Parking garage was renovating the day I arrived but was not informed earlier and had to pay for parking several hours. Overall, a good experience.

We have small children and they very much enjoyed the area, as well as the apartment itself. The apartment is very clean, pleasant, and amenities for travellars are all ready to be used. My only suggestion would be two sets of keys, as myself and my colleague with whom I was staying had different dinner plans and had to coordinate to meet up in the city somewhere so we could return home at the same time. All comfort and convenience, we did not lack of anything related to kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, ... as well as wifi, board games, "connected" TV ready for enjoyable moments spent inside.
Jun 27, 2019This apartment is run (and owned?) by a management company. It clearly isn't actually anyone's home and has the clinical, impersonal feel of a hotel. But it's well equipped for a stay in the centre of Sydney and the location is very convenient for Darling Harbour. I never met the named host; I was 'checked in' (their words) by someone else who was clearly in a tearing hurry. Beforehand I was just told I would be met, I didn't know where this would be but I couldn't get into the building and had to wait outside in the street. There is no hairdryer or air conditioning (this will make it v hot in the height of summer) and the oven is complicated to work. The design of the building means the apartment overlooks and is overlooked by other apartments and there was some noise at night from neighbours as the units are close together. There is also traffic noise. We were only given one set of keys which was extremely inconvenient. On the plus side the apartment building has a small pool and gym.

It's a very quick walk to darling harbour, either walk up the hill and across, or through the parking structure down the road and cross at the tram crossing and it takes about two or three minutes! It was very comfortable, two full bathrooms, a full kitchen two bedrooms, could comfortably fit four people. Great area, close to grocery stores, restaurants, pubs, public transport!
Jun 27, 2019This is a lovely apartment in a great area... lots of cute cafes & a great playground (Pirrama Park) within 10 minutes walk. Top recommendation is to get the ferry from Darling Harbour to Manly & you get to see the Opera House & Bridge from the water as well as a great day out! Made Comfy - the company that manage this apartment - sorted the Internet within 24hrs when it went down. There is a major issue with this lovely apartment though! The keys... 1 set provided with fob to enter lobby AND use lift. I didn't think having just one set would be an issue... but, for example, when my husband took our daughter to the swimming pool on the ground floor - I couldn't pop to the shops with the baby because they would need the fob to use the lift & I would need it to re-enter the building = trapped & logistics had to be discussed each time we wanted to do something separately. We also had to pick the keys up from a random letter box several km away as we were arriving late (7.30pm). Luckily we were hiring a car - not on public transport - so navigated our way around a strange city to 2 addresses... didn't realise this was the situation when I booked. I hope that they sort the key situation- they clearly listen to feedback as one of the reviews mentioned needing a fan and there are now 3 in the apartment which was brilliant!

Jun 27, 2019Sabrina was prompt in responding which was a saviour to me being stranded in another place which was not cleaned. Simona who checked us in was also friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. Walking distance to Coles, Casino and main attractions at the harbour. This saved us alot of parking fee. The unit was has all we needed and definitely clean. Theres wifi and also designated parking. Im not sure why i missed booking for this place in the beginning but thank goodness I managed to switch to this. Dont think further if you wanna book an accomodation in Sydney! Lastly, thanks Sabrina!

Jun 27, 2019Beautiful place, full of amenities like Brand New mini body wash, shampoo, lotion etc. There were also board games and the place was extremely clean and a fantastic place to unwind. Check in was smooth and have absolutely no complaints!

Jun 27, 2019A lovely unit in a very convenient spot. Easy walk to Darling Harbour and walking bridge to city. Pyrmont ferry terminal close 10 minute walk - 5 stops to Circular Quay with great views of Harbour Bridge, Opera House and other sights as you travel. Coles 300 m away so easy to pick up groceries on way back from ferry. One stop to Balmain on ferry then catch 442 bus up to trendy shops and cafes. Catch 389 bus around corner into city or onto Bondi. Just be aware that all bathrooms in the building are being replaced so there may be some banging noise during the day depending on what level they are working on. Not overly loud at this stage. Clear, quick communication with those managing unit. Would recommend staying here.

Jun 27, 2019Sabrina's place is well located for Darling Harbour functions. The beds are comfy and the apartment is well represented in the photos. There is a fair amount of construction going on in the building so check with Sabrina first. It was great to have a garage but be aware that only a small car will fit. Our CX5 was quite a struggle to fit in. Overall a good place to stay in the city.

Jun 27, 2019Clean and well positioned. Note that the whole building is currently undergoing construction, so as well as the noise (as mentioned in the listing) the halls and elevator are a worksite. The pool and sauna facilities are lovely though. I’m not sure I would stay here again for the price (& the cleaning fee $200+). There is nothing wrong with the apartment itself, however my experience overall was a little underwhelming.

Jun 27, 2019Good location, it is on the quieter side of Pyrmont. Still walking distance to the fish market, Darling Harbour and even CBD. The unit is as pictured. Impressed with the newly renovated bathrooms - nice!! Consequently the other rooms are noticeably older - carpet, walls. Easy check-in / check-out process, communication was quick and a breeze. They even allowed us to check-in early which was super helpful. The building is a bit dated, building hallways have some smell although it has some constructions (and we were given a heads up on this). Like others mentioned the parking space is a bit tight but we were able to park Mitsubishi Outlander fine. The unit was clean and overall it was a great stay.

Jun 27, 2019Sabrina's apartment is really well appointed and had many thoughtful touches, like the coffee machine. The provided carpark is really low, don't try and fit a larger car or 4wd in there. Regardless, Sabrina's hospitality was great and the place was clean and welcoming.
