Our neighborhood is very calm and have everything near, groceries and other commercial things with traditional houses, cheap and local restaurants, away from the confusion of the city center and at the same time it near the center, 15 minutes walking or for those that does not like or can not walking a lot of bus is available.

We are very well served by public transports, bus, metro and trains ( very near of the principal metro and railway station of Porto named Campanhã). For parking it is possible to park in our street without problem, in front of our house.

We had a very lovely time with Aurora and Alberto in their beautifull home in the Bom Fin area. We felt very welcome and A & A gave us a lot of usefu tips on what to do and see in Porto. They surprised us with a nice breakfast, the second day even in the garden. Very fine, trustworthy and fun to talk with people! Jun 27, 2019We really would like to put 6/5. We felt very very well welcomed by Aurora and Alberto, who receive you in a charming house with caractere, originality and calm. Traveling with our little daughter (2 months) could have raised some issues, being hosted but I didn't at all. On the contrary, Aurora & Alberto were careful and we appreciated sharing breakfast, conversations and their knowledge of Porto. Little by little we build experience on Airbnb as host and as guest, and Jardim Yoga will ever stay an inspiring reference.
Jun 27, 2019I had a great experience at Aurora's home. Aurora and Alberto are extremely nice people who will make you feel at home, are very helpful, considerate and are fun to be around. They offered that I join them and their friend to join them on a walk around the city which was very helpful. Also the chance to meet so locals and learn more about their culture and food was very unique. The home is very spacious with a lovely garden, the room is nice, clean and the bathroom is just fantastic. They prepared a healthy breakfast to start my day off and I already miss Alberto's unique and fresh morning juice. Overall I would highly recommend staying at Aurora's home.

They gave us useful tips on what to see in Porto and how to get around which was very much appreciated. The room was very comfortable and the house was especially cozy and well located close to the metro and train station. My first airbnb experience was an amazing short stay thanks to both of them, definitely recommended!

They invited us to an inspiring yoga class, were dedicated to help us discovering Porto and Alberto even took us to a great local restaurant. The room (and the house and the garden) is beautiful, cozy, clean and silent. This is the best place you can stay in Porto. We will definitely come back!
Jun 27, 2019Oh my gods (we have 8 million gods who cover everything and all aspects in Japan)! It was the first time for me to stay in an air bnb. Although I was quite confident from their profile before my arrival, the quality of my stay was even beyond my high expectations. Aurora and Alberto confirmed they are the ideal hosts, and their house and garden were the ideal place to stay. I arrived with an empty stomach, and Aurora took me to one of the neighborhood restaurants and explained the menu in English (6 Euros for everything). After lunch, Alberto showed me all flowers and trees in the garden and later he had set up the hammock between the trees. I relaxed myself in the peaceful atmosphere with birds chirping among the fragrant orange and jasmine blossoms. During the stay, my friend, Emma and I received more than what we needed: beautifully decorated room and bathroom, delicious daily breakfast (sometimes in their lovely garden), good recommendations for restaurants and 1 day trips to nearby towns (they had prepared to give us all the information we need before we arrived). They learned my precise breakfast request in one day and prepared perfectly for the rest of my 11 day-stay. Also we enjoyed their yoga classes in the studio which is located in the basement with the window opening out to the garden. They sometimes offered me the fresh vegetable-and-fruit juice and yummy soup (They are vegetarians). On Sunday, when they have no classes, they offered us to drive around town. The highlight of the tour was the museum which also has a huge garden. Alberto knows all the flowers and plants, and has a lot of stories about almost everything. I shared their tastes and felt they were my friends for years. I totally recommend this place and will come back in the near future for a longer stay. Machiko

The place is calm and lovely, has a very nice garden with you can use, a served breakfast every day, lovely, nice decorated room and even more lovely bathroom of your own. They have lots of tips what to visit in Porto and are alway wiling to help. Porto centre is at walking distance, supermarket and postoffice too. Near a metro/train station and bus to centre. If you stay buy a massage for an even more relaxed holiday feeling after a day of exploring Porto......

She offered me breakfast and her husband helped me during 45 minutes to circle the best locations in Porto on a map. I strongly recommand this place and the center of Porto is a 20 minute walk away. Very calm, elegant, simple and caring. Besides, they have the most beautiful garden that makes you breath and fall in love with the house. Great place, lovely people, osom shower and bed. Walking distance from everything. It was the perfect home to get to know Porto.
Jun 27, 2019Our stay at Aurora and Alborto was fantastic. They are very friendly. Their house is spacious and in a quiet neighnourhood, though close enough for a walk to the city centre. They have a nice bathroom wit ha bath and a beautiful garden full of fruit trees, flowers and a o so nice hammock :) I would almost forget to say about the really good breakfast which is included. Jun 27, 2019Coming back in the night to Aurora's and Alberto's place, we were already looking forward to the next day, which would start in the cozy garden with a nice breakfast. The guys were happy to help us find interesting places in the city and it was always great to share with them what we did and saw the day before. They were also so kind to bring us to the contemporary art museum on their weekend. Thanks to Aurora and Alberto we definitely felt very welcome to get a glimpse into the life of the local people. The best experience we could have hoped for! Also the place itself is beautiful and filled with individuality. The city center is within easy reach. We were very happy to have stayed with Aurora and Alberto during our Porto trip!
Jun 27, 2019Vraiment j'ai adoré Aurora et Alberto, et oui, Micha (la chatte) aussi! Ils sont super sympas et accueillants. On se sent comme chez soit tellement ils sont chaleureux. Ils font un petit déjeuner super bon, nutritif et sain. D'ailleurs, tout l'ambiance de la maison respire la zen attitude!, c'est calme, beau, lumineux et zen. La chambre où j'ai été logée est belle, propre et tranquille. Le jardin est magnifique avec ces fleurs et arbres fruitiers. La saille de bain est super agréable, ample et propre. Enfin, toute la maison est remplie de bon gout et bonnes ondes. Le quartier est aussi bien, pas très loin du centre (on peut aller en marchant), desservi en bus et métro et au même temps calme. Alors: je vous conseille vivement chez Aurora et Alberto, pour votre séjour à Porto!

La maison est très propre, lumineux et possède un jardin sympathique. Elle est 1000 fois mieux que sur les photos (je n'exagère pas :) ) Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Ils sont formidables. Encore un GRAND MERCI!!!
Jun 27, 2019Un séjour au top ! Aurora et son mari ont été très accueillant ! Ils nous ont donné beaucoup de conseils pour notre séjour pour tout ce qui est lieux à visiter, bonnes adresses... La maison est superbe, la salle de bain ultra spacieuse, le lit est spacieux et on y dort très bien. Le luxe : un petit déjeuner complet et vraiment bon dans un jardin très agréable ! Jun 27, 2019Conveniently located near the Campanha station, easy for us travelling by train from porto to lisboa. Aurora and her husband were extremely helpful!! They gave wonderful recommendations for things to do in porto and told us about the history and culture of portugal. Delicious and generous breakfast. clean and comfortable rooms and toilets. Aurora even went the extra mile to get us pasteis de natas for breakfast simply because we enquired the day before on where we could find some in Porto. Highly recommended!!

Jun 27, 2019Aurora and Alberto are really great hosts! It's a nice and cosy house, clean and charming room & bathroom. The garden was our favourite place for breakfast or to rest a bit in the shadow when it was too hot. They gave us all the help and information we needed in Porto, and extra tips and to do's. The location is near to Campahna station, easy to get to from the airport, and also good when you want to take the train to lisbon. A walk to the centre takes some time, but you can take public transport. We really recommend this place and will certainly go back there if we ever visit Porto again.

The room is spacious and nicely decorated, the bathroom beautifull, and having a great full breakfast in the perfect garden was a straight moment in paradise each day. Highly recommended!
Jun 27, 2019Wow! As you can see from the many other reviews, this place is amazing. We arrived and checked in with such ease as Aurora was waiting for us. What a beautiful home, so spacious, clean and modernly decorated it was so relaxing staying here we wished we had longer! What a fantastic host (and couple) Aurora and her husband are. He sat down with us and explained the entire map pointing out places to see/eat/do. Beautiful breakfast spread in there backyard with an explanation on all the plants and trees of fruit they have. Truly an amazing experience with airbnb we had here. It was such a pleasure staying with them and it made our experience in Porto much better. I would highly recommend staying here and would stay again if I ever came to porto again! Thank you!

We immediately felt very comfortable with Aurora and hope to return one day to Porto to this place. Jun 27, 2019For me the house of Alberto and Aurora was a perfect place to stay in Porto! Although you you can reach it easily from the centre by foot or bus, it is very quiet. The both are so nice and friendly people and the place with it´s wonderfull garden so unique, that I decided spontanously to stay longer. At least I have been there for 5 nights and enjoyed the very nice ambience. They handled many things for me, like renting a bike, calling a taxi and so on. I travelled alone and here I felt like staying with friends.I recommend Aurora as a very nice host, if you are searching for something especially, stay here!
Jun 27, 2019Aurora and Alberto are the most amazing hosts! They were there to greet us when we arrived and immediately showed us around the apartment, which was absolutely beautiful!! Alberto helped us park our car and also carried our baggage into the house!! Our room was gorgeous, and the bathroom so lovely!! I really wish we would have had a few more days there!! Aurora then accompanied us around the area and showed us a great place to dine? It was amazing food and so inexpensive! We then met them at home and they took us to the center of the city and showed us around. We went for coffee and they further acquainted us with the city! They were over and above in helping us to feel comfortable in Porto! They are passionate about their city and made us feel the same! The next morning Aurora made us a fantastic breakfast which we ate overlooking their gorgeous garden!! We spent the day enjoying Porto thanks to their great guidance. The next morning Aurora and Alberto provided us with another wonderful breakfast in their garden. Aurora and Alberto really made our trip to Porto comfortable and such fun! They really are super people who love to show their guests their city. I would love to visit them again in the future!! They have a five star accommodation in a most beautiful city. Highly recommended!!!!

Jun 27, 2019Super sweet couple and the house and room are big, comfortable and clean. Aurora and her husband make you feel very welcomed and are very attentive with their guests. The house is located close to the metro station and walking distance (20 mins) to the city attractions. However, Porto has many hills and getting back to the house can be a bit tiring, I used the metro and taxi, and it was ok. Beautiful house, beautiful people. Totally recommend!

They have a comfortable house, a pretty garden, provided tasty breakfasts, and couldn't have been more thoughtful about helping us find our way around Porto. Staying with them added a very nice friendly dimension to our visit to Portugal.

Jun 27, 2019It was cold during our visit to Porto - as to be expected in November! Despite this we very much enjoyed our stay with Aurora and Alberto. Their house is beautiful, and they are wonderful guides to the area - always able to give us advice to more enjoy our visit. You could not ask for better hosts! Everything in the house was in great shape, we had everything we needed. The house is located convenient to the train station, several restaurants and cafes, and markets. We enjoyed the longer walks into the center of town and to Gaia, also. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend it for others.

Aurora on her own is very caring, and Alberto is great giving trip advices, our vacations were better because of our stay at this wonderful house. Ils sont chaleureux, généreux, intéressants et passionnés par leur ville... Que dire? on s'est senties en famille et je recommande chaudement ce lieu à ceux qui veulent vivre une belle expérience humaine au Portugal. (à noter, ils parlent parfaitement français) Leur maison est accueillante, et vaste, on s'y sent bien. As imagens são fidedignas e a localização é muito boa (para referência de caminhada ao centro, a estação de metrô Campo 24 de Agosto é a ideal. Mas não se preocupe, todas as dicas com detalhes são dadas pela Aurora e pelo Alberto). A casa possui uma energia maravilhosa e os anfitriões são pessoas muito, muito especiais. Preciso dizer que se tiverem a oportunidade de conhecê-los, não deixem de fazê-lo.
Jun 27, 2019Very friendly hosting, in a nice position 15 minutes from Porto city center by foot, close to some typical traditional restaurants. The room was large and clean, good breakfast and clean bathroom with towels included. They can speak English and French, and understand also Italian.
Jun 27, 2019This is great value for money accommodation. Your hosts are knowledgeable about Porto city and will sit you down and explain the city to you including some great tips and locations. I walked into the main city area which is about 15 minutes walking although there is public transport nearby. The eateries around the location come cheap if you wanted a quick meal in a hurry. You are also provided with a simple breakfast which was enough to get me going for the day. I was there in the rainy season so could not take advantage of the beautiful garden setting. I arrived by car and was able to park in the street outside.

The house is large and well decorated, with 15 minutes walk to the city center and near to the train station, which takes you to Lisbon and other important destinations. Breakfast is fresh made. Jun 27, 2019Io e Claudia abbiamo avuto un bellissimo soggiorno a Porto. Questo anche graze ad Aurora ed Alberto che ci hanno accolto con grandissima cortesia e calore nella loro casa. Sempre disponibili a preziosi suggerimenti e consigli ma mai invadenti. La casa è bella e ben tenutal ha un bellisso giardino ed è comoda anche per chi ha un'auto propria perchè si può tranquillamente parcheggiare di fronte. A colazione ci è stato offerto un buonissimo miele ed una buonissima marmellata fatta in casa. In definitiva un alloggop da consgliare sotto tutti i punti di vista.

Quiet, with a lovely garden. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating, providing lots of helpful local information, and kindly giving us a lift back to the railway station. Die Ausstellung des Hauses ist sehr interessant, und auf mittlerem Niveau komfortabel. Die Gastgeber wohnen im gleichen Haus, und zusammenwohnen kann man mit einer WG vergleichen. Trotzdem hat man genug Ruhe. Zusammenfassend ist die Unterkunft zu empfehlen.

Jun 27, 2019We were pleasantly surprised by the kindness and hospitality of Aurora and Alberto. They both were very helpfull with everything we needed or wanted to know. The minute we came in their colourfull and cosy house, we felt at ease. Having breakfast in the Sunny garden happened only once, because of the rain (bad luck) but the kitchen table wasn't so bad either, with Aurora or Alberto chattering around us :)

We were within walking distance of many areas of Porto, as well buses and metro, and also able to enjoy the quiet and calm in their gorgeous garden. Alberto's tour around the garden, showing us the herbs and fruit they grow, was really nice. Location was good with walking distance both to the train station from where we took the train to Lisbon, and very easy to go from the airport.

The good atmosphere in the house is characterized by the spirit of the both, the house and rooms are all in perfect order, tasteful and carefully decorated and we felt at home from the very first minute onward. We were pleased to join a yoga class in the morning, which is a wonderful start in the day and Alberto told us so many exciting things to visit in town - especially interesting locations you won't find in any travel book - great! We were lucky to enjoy fresh khaki fruits from the garden, which were ripe just during our stay - delicious! Aurora gave us useful advice how to get around in town each morning, with bus and metro connections, and even walking to town or station is no problem from their place. Thank you very much, Aurora and Alberto, you both contributed greatly to our successful and happy holidays in Porto!

Jun 27, 2019I had the most amazing experience. I did not want to leave. Their house is something you could only dream of. The cutest little yoga inspired home. They were also exceptional hosts. They allowed us to join a yoga session in their basement, they made us breakfast and then they helped us plan our day. A great location, really easy to find. I plan on returning one day! A must stay.

Really enjoyed the experience even though I had a bad cold and was needing some rest.They're house is located in a quiet spot and yet a short walking distance to the train/metro station which is practical for traveling. A warm atmosphere, cultural and nostalgic with wonderful local honey on toast for breakfast and a myriad of healthy herbal teas. It was very interesting to be shown round the garden and learn some biological and nutritional characteristics of the plants and fruits there. I have no hesitation in recommending this location.

It's a great place to spend a few nights if you want to stay away from the very busy and touristic downtown Porto but still within a 20 walk.

Jun 27, 2019We had a wonderful time in Porto. Staying with Aurora and Alberto in their lovely home made our visit a holiday to remember. The room is very pleasant. The bathroom beautiful (although shared, but with all having other schedules that never was an issue). The breakfast was good and the oranges from the garden made it very special. A good way to start the day. The garden is a truly oasis to be in. You don't feel that you are in the city at all. The location of the house is very good. The old city center being within walking distance. Aurora and Alberto are very open and pleasant people and go way beyond what can be expected from "hosts". Really giving us the feeling that we kind of where visiting old friends. We are thankfull that they opened up their home like this.

Jeden Tag gab es Insider-Tipps, durch die wir Porto besser kennengelernt haben als durch irgendwelche Reiseführer. Unser Zimmer und das ganze Haus waren geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Garten war ein Erlebnis und zum Frühstück gab es frisch geerntete Orangen und Avocados. Vom Grostadtlärm bekam man nichts mit, das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, aber trotzdem recht zentral. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

Jun 27, 2019It was a perfect end for my two-week solo trip. Aurora and Alberto's warm host makes Porto much more interesting than I expected. Great location: 10 mins walk from Campanha train/tube station. Convenient for me as I took the train from Lisbon to Porto and I went back by air. Comfortable and beautiful room: The house is very artistic and my room is very comfortable and quiet. Warm host: I had a wonderful breakfast with warm toasted local bread and different home made jams which are extremely tasty. Also, Aurora gave me very detailed guidance on the direction on the map and made very good recommendation on where I could visit. Thanks very much, Aurora and Alberto! I will definitely come back to Porto and meet you.

Tout y est parfait : la décoration, les couleurs, les bonnes odeurs, la tranquillité, le confort de la chambre, le calme du quartier à 10mn de la gare, et surtout la gentillesse et le sourire de ce couple charmant. Aurora et Alberto ont pris du temps pour me conseiller des visites intéressantes et de bons restaurants. Ils parlent couramment le français et l'anglais. Ils nous permettent d'assister aux cours de yoga, dans leur salle propice à la méditation, face au jardin. Alberto fait aussi des massages aryuvédiques ( 35 euros seulement, pour une heure de bien-être total avec musique et couverture chauffante ). On ne peut que repartir heureux, le sourire aux lèvres. Si je retourne un jour à Porto, c'est chez eux que je reviendrai !

Jun 27, 2019English: Aurora and Alberto were amazing hosts! When I first got there, I met Aurora. She showed me my room (which was beautiful btw - the bed is huge and there's an entire closet for you to put your clothes, if you want), showed the bathroom, gave me the house key and a few suggestions of places to eat/to visit. They live some 15 minutes by foot from the center of Porto (and from there you can see places like the Ribeira, th D. Luis I Bridge, etc.), which is pretty neat. The next two mornings, they served us (there were two other guests from France) a nice breakfast, including coffee, bread, cheese, and a fruit. One of the nicest things Aurora did was lend me $5 when I had trouble paying with my credit card at this one sweets shop that is nearby (BRING CASH TO PORTO! this way you can eat at the cheap but good places!); she was okay with me paying her back once I was able to get money out. If you want a nice and safe place to stay in Porto, with loving and welcoming hosts, please choose Aurora and Alberto. They have so far been my favorite hosts (not that the others were bad - they just went above and beyond!) and I would definitely stay with them again if I went back to Porto. Português: Adorei ficar na casa da Aurora e do Alberto! Tive uma recepção muito calorosa da Aurora na manhã da minha chegada. Ela me mostrou tudo o que eu precisava - o meu quarto, a cozinha, o banheiro, lugares para visitar, etc. Também me deu dicas de onde eu poderia almoçar/jantar a um preço baixo. A casa deles é beeeeeeem próxima ao centro de Porto, então não compre o cartão de viagem turístico que é vendido no aeroporto (a não ser que você esteja planejando ir para lugares como Matosinhos, que fica fora da zona de onde Aurora e Alberto moram e a passagem é mais cara). Além disso, com coisa de $6, $7 euros, você pode jantar um prato feito e comer altos docinhos em uma das confeitarias/restaurantes perto da casa deles. Eu recomendo a casa da Aurora e do Alberto para qualquer um que queira uma localização segura, perto do centro de Porto e com hospedeiros calorosos e gentis.

Every morning the breakfast was served in their beautiful garden: fresh bread and fruit, home made marmelade, cheese and tea. We got a key from the house, so we didn't had to wake anyone when we came home in the evening. The room was clean, big enough and very quiet. We had to share the bathroom with an other couple, but that was no problem. When necessary there was an other bathroom in the basement. The house is not quite in the city center, but only 10 minutes walking from the metro. In 20 minutes, it's possible by walking.

Jun 27, 2019Aurora et Alberto sont des personnes que l'on aimerait rencontrer dans toutes maisons d'hôtes. ils nous accueillent chez eux avec gentillesse, prévenance et sont disponibles. Nous avions 2 soirées et 1 journée sur Porto, Alberto nous a fait un programme au top pour que notre journée de visite soit efficace. Les restos conseillaient étaient populaires et très bons (menu à 5€), tout ce que l'on recherchait. Nous nous sommes sentis vraiment comme à la maison, c'est une sensation très agréable. Je recommande vivement. Le quartier est à 10mn du centre en bus (bus toutes les 5mn), très calme! Parfait après une journée de visite intensive. La maison est zen! Pensez à expérimenter les cours de yoga prodigués par Aurora et Alberto! Nous reviendrons!
Jun 27, 2019We had a wonderful stay and lovely time in Porto because of Aurora and Alberto, they are excellent hosts! They have a lovely house just outside the centre of Porto with a beautiful garden. They made us feel very welcome and explained us how to find our way in Porto and all the nice and interesting places to visit and where to eat (not only the touristic places but also the "local" places). We think of Aurora and Alberto with sweet memories and a smile on our face and will visit them again next time we're in Porto. We had a lovely breakfast with homemade jams and homegrown plums. Location is in a nice quiet street and close walk to the centre of town

Aurora et Alberto se rendent très disponibles pour nous conseiller, nous orienter et même partager des moments de découverte (nous sommes allées jusqu'à un musée ensemble). Le petit déjeuner dans le jardin est incontestablement un vrai plus. Avec les fruits du jardin qui plus est !!!! Bref, je recommande de venir partager un moment dans cette maison très accueillante.

Jun 27, 2019J'ai passé un très bon moment avec Aurora et Alberto. Mes hôtes ont été aux petits soins et j'en ai profité pour m'offrir un massage ayurvedique je recommande ! La chambre est très belle et j'ai adoré la salle de bain. Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas Porto il faut savoir que la maison n'est pas toute proche du centre ville je dirais 20 minutes pour y aller et 25 pour revenir à cause de la côte!! Mais on est tellement bien pour apprécier le calme du jardin ;)

Jun 27, 2019Notre passage fut bref mais nous avons passé une agréable nuit chez Aurora et Alberto qui ont trouvé le temps de nous accueillir très aimablement avant leur propre départ en vacances. Nous en avons également profité pour bénéficier des soins d'Alberto qui nous a prodigué à chacun un massage ayurvédique que nous recommandons vivement aux futurs hôtes de passage.
Jun 27, 2019Nous sommes arrivés tard sur Porto vers minuit, mais une amie d'Aurora nous attendait. Nous avons été très bien accueillis.Notre séjour s'est agréablement bien passé. Le logement est très bien situé à 15 minutes en métro du centre dans un quartier calme. Aurora était joignable à tout moment si besoin. Il est également très agréable de prendre son petit-déjeuner dans le jardin.

On s'y sent très à l'aise, le petit déjeuner dans le jardin est très appréciable. On est très vite au centre historique, en 10 minutes à pieds. Facile de se garer dans la rue. Un seul regret : n'avoir pas pu participer a un cours de yoga ou s'être fait faire un massage !

Elene è stata molto disponibile sia per quanto riguarda le normali necessità del soggiorno sia nel fornirci informazioni su dove mangiare e come muoverci a Porto. La casa è molto bella, assolutamente rispondente alla descrizione. E' arredata in stile orientale, dato l'interesse per lo yoga dei suoi proprietari. C'è un piacevole giardino con alberi da frutta ed un bel gatto. Le camere sono comode e pulite. La curiosità della casa è forse il bagno, molto particolare ed originale. Buona la colazione, anche se semplice. Porto è una città affascinante, piena di sorprese.

Nos hôtes nous ont très bien conseillés pour rentabiliser notre visite de Porto au maximum en un minimum de temps. Roberto nous a guidés pour nos visites ultérieures à l'intérieur du pays. Aurora cleaned the bathroom everyday. We received very helpful information and they helped us to enjoy Porto.

Jun 27, 2019Ces trois jours chez Alberto et Aurora étaient juste merveilleux. Ce sont d'excelants hôtes qui ont toujours le souci de votre bien être ! Alberto est intarissable sur les trésors de sa ville Porto. Aurora c'est même levée avec nous à 4 heures du matin pour être certaine que le taxi serait présent et nous préparer un thé. Les petits déjeuners dans ce jardin entretenu avec amour sont magiques ( juste un petit bémol pour le café qui est lyophilisé une petit cafetière italienne peut être serait la bienvenue). Bref ce séjour était parfait avec de très belles rencontres . merci à Alberto et aurora d'y avoir contribué . Si je retourne à Porto c'est chez Alberyo et Aurora que je retournerai ! Solenne

Alles ist genau, wie beschrieben. Besonders gut gefallen hat mir der Garten. Die Tipps der Gastgeber für unsere Entdeckertouren in Porto waren sehr hilfreich. Jun 27, 2019I am sure Aurora and Alberto don't need any positive reviews but I will write one anyway as they deserve to be highly recommended. Being the first time to travel alone I was rather wary before arriving at their home. However on arrival my anxiety disappeared as they are a great team at making you feel welcome and at home. One special highlight was having fresh fruit picked straight from the tree for breakfast. Their tips for eating out and getting around the city were very helpful. They also kindly ask you if you would like to join the yoga classes.

Alberto provided us with such excellent suggestions on things to do in and around Porto daily depending on our whims for that day. They also helped organize transport, when necessary. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Perhaps we arrived in the right season as several fruit trees and my parents indulged in their persimmons that picked ripe off the tree.

My wife also enjoyed joining their yoga lesson, that was a nice bonus, too. We both also appreciated Alberto's insight of how things were in the Portugal in the past and how they are now, that was really enlightening. Oh, and did I mention the bathroom? That was awesome, really.

And last but not least: we enjoyed the yoga class and massage. Only the hard matrass wasn't comfortable, but that was nothing compared to the wonderful hospitality. We surely recommand this b&b.
Jun 27, 2019What a lovely stay I had. Aurora and Alberto are a wonderful, helpful, and funny couple. I felt at home. I stayed two full days and each morning after breakfast Alberto opened the map and showed me what to visit and how to get there. Thanks to that I got to know not only the most popular places in town but also some hidden gems. The location is good, close to the Campaña train station (to/from Lisboa), and a short walk to the center. The room is comfortable and wifi works very well. Thank you for everything!
Jun 27, 2019Even only three nights staying with this lovely couple, it was very difficult to say goodbye to them, to the good feeling of the stay. All the pictures are accurate. More than that, you should experience the precious feeling...highly recommend ed for sure. I felt lucky to stay here. By the way, besides, Alberto is definitely a super guide to give the best suggestion of the trip in Porto. Because of him, in my limited time, i still traveled around Porto very smoothly. Jun 27, 2019I felt welcome in Aurora and Alberto's home from the second I arrived. Their apartment is very close to the train station but about a 25 minute walk from the center of the city. That said, it was perfect for what I was looking for. The bed was cozy and their home was very clean and peaceful. I loved spending time in the backyard during breakfast and walking around the garden. They also allowed me to participate in their yoga classes. The entire experience was wonderful. Alberto also gave me detailed directions on the map of places to go and things to see. They made me breakfast in the morning and asked how may day ones when I came back from touring around. It really felt like home. They were both so friendly and kind and I would definitely go back.
Jun 27, 2019Words cannot express how great the stay at A&A was! - it was my first airbnb experience and it was above good! The entire house is a palace to calm down a little and relax. I also participated in two of their yoga sessions which was a very nice offer b/c it was so simple to have a yoga class in the same house where you stay! I travelled w/ my 3 yrs old son who also appreciated the stay a lot. He loved to hang out infront of the fire place or helping Alberto w/ his gardening! Even though we stayed only 2 nights, I am sure I will return! A&A are beautiful people! THANKS!

Han estado muy pendientes de cualquier necesidad, nos han ayudado mucho a conocer esta fantástica ciudad, orientándonos sobre que ver y visitar, cómo moverse con soltura por la cuidad. La habitación es grande y confortable, así como el baño, el salón es muy cálido y acogedor y una cuidada estufa de leña hace más agradable si cabe su estancia. La casa está situada a unos 15 minutos del centro y bien comunicada con líneas de autobuses, es una zona tranquila y hay sitio para aparcar gratuitamente. El desayuno muy rico y variado ( mermelada riquísima ), todo muy limpio. Participamos en una actividad de yoga y una cena conjunta en la que nos sentimos muy integrados y agradecidos. Sin duda hemos descubierto lo mejor de Oporto y lo mejor de sus gentes, repetiremos sin dudarlo . GRACIAS

Jun 27, 2019Aurora and Alberto are exclusively amazing host and wonderful persons. I felt so much at home and that was exactly what I was looking for. They are perfectly ready and very experienced with receiving guests, attentive and simply lovely ! As long as I was on the way to Brazil and didn't have much warm clothes with me, Aurora provided me with everything necessary. Alberto helped with practical advices and told me many interesting stories. Their yoga classes are very nice and the whole house is radiating peaceful and loveful energy. Aurora and Alberto organized a good pick-up service and I was even lucky to join them on a exhibition opening on a rainy weekend. I loved the stay and fell in love with their beautiful spirits!

Jun 27, 2019Aurora and Alberta are excellent hosts! They took great care of us. They are extremely helpful in telling us where to go, where to eat etc. so they made us really easy and enjoy Porto! The house matched exactly with what we were expecting from the pictures. The house is always calm, quite and clean. It has an amazing garden with lemon and orange trees and lots of flowers. We would like to be there in spring or summer. You can easily access to the house with public transportation. It's just a few minutes away from Campanhã railway station and 20 minutes from city center by walking.The home is located in a local neighborhood. So you can find a lot of local restaurants and patisseries which are really cheap and yummy! Dear Aurora and Alberta, we appreciated for your wonderful hospitality! Hope to meet you again!

Jun 27, 2019I want to say thank you to Aurora and Alberto. I stayed at their place for 5 days and it was awesome. They gave me a lot of helpful tips about Porto- where to go, see and eat, and they are always so kind and cheerful that I could feel at home. The rooms are just the same as in the pictures- beautiful garden, lime yellowish walls, etc. Even in the winter, I could enjoy the camellia blossom in the garden. I took Alberto's yoga lesson in the morning and that was so relaxing. I totally fall in love with this beautiful city, Porto and my trip wouldn't have been this great without Aurora and Alberto. Thank you!

La maison bourgeoise et ancienne est accueillante, meublée avec goût, et remplie de petits objets d'art...dont une petite gravure libertine dans la salle de bains, assez hilarante. Quartier très calme. Les oranges du jardin étaient délicieuses. Je recommande fortement cette adresse.

Jun 27, 2019I had a wonderful stay at Alberto and Aurora's place. The house is amazing and in a very convenient location to explore Porto. Alberto and Aurora welcomed me in the warmest way and I felt like home from the first second I was there. Alberto gave me a lot of tips on the city wile we were sitting outside in their beautiful garden, unfortunately I only stayed for one night so I didn't manage to attend to Aurora's yoga class. I hope to go back and stay a bit longer. I definitely recommend this wonderful place as it was an amazing experience.

Aurora y Alberto tomaron tiempo para explicarnos todos los detalles de la ciudad, y se nos hizo facíl navegarla. Además, llegué malito con tos y me cuidaron con tés y otros tratamientos naturales. Seguro que vamos a repetir cuando volvamos a Oporto.

It is perfect located, you need only 15 minutes into the old town of Porto. But especially Aurora and her husband made it possible that I could visit all the famous and hidden places in Porto in only two days. They took a lot of their time to explain me ways and places in Porto, which I wouldn´t had discovered when I had visited Porto on my own. I am very glad to meet such fantastic people as my hosts. La chambre et la maison sont très confortables et facilement accessibles en transports en commun ou à pied depuis le centre-ville (ça grimpe un peu, comme partout à Porto ;-) ).
Jun 27, 2019Abrigada, Abrigado, ce séjour était MAGNIFIQUE. Grâce à vos conseils, en Français, sur la ville et son histoire, nous avons pu visiter Porto dans de très bonnes conditions. La maison n'est pas au cœur de la ville (15-20 min à pied), mais très accessible en transport en commun.

Les conseils de nos hôtes ont été très utiles pour faciliter notre séjour. Et en plus on peut se garer gratuitement dans leur rue. A recommander.

Jun 27, 2019Lo primero que debo decir es que Aurora y Alberto son una pareja encantadora. Hicieron todo lo posible para que nuestra estancia en Oporto fuese lo más agradable posible. La casa se encuentra en una calle tranquila, de fácil aparcamiento y a tan solo veinte minutos caminando del centro de Oporto. La habitación está bien insonorizada, muy limpia y un cuarto de baño también muy limpio para las personas que se hospedan allí. Nos sirvieron un buen desayuno. Tienen un bonito jardín en que sirven el desayuno cuando el tiempo es bueno. En nuestro caso no pudo ser porque el tiempo fue muy lluvioso. Alberto nos informó de todo los lugares a visitar en Oporto, incluso aquellos de los que en una oficina de información turística no lo hacen. Nos sugirió lugares, restaurantes, edificios, etc. Él es realmente el mejor guía turístico de Oporto. Además nos habló de mucho de los cambios de Oporto en los últimos años. Yo podría haberme pasado horas conversando con él. Aurora es muy simpática, siempre sonriendo y pendiente de que estuviésemos cómodos. Si en alguna otra ocasión visito Oporto, no dudaré en alojarme con Aurora y Alberto.

Jun 27, 2019Aurora und Alberto sind sehr liebenswerte Gastgeber und haben uns herzlich empfangen. Das Haus ist besonders gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Es liegt an einer ruhigen, kleinen Straße und mit Bus und Metro ist man schnell im Zentrum. Jeden Morgen nach dem leckeren Frühstück, u.a. mit selbstgemachter Marmelade und köstlichem Obst, welches wir, wenn eben möglich, auf der Terasse einnahmen, erhielten wir von Alberto allerbeste Tipps zum Erkunden der Stadt und auch wo wir gute und preiswerte Restaurants finden. Wir haben uns bei Aurora und Alberto besonders wohl und zu Hause gefühlt und werden sehr gerne wieder kommen!!

Jun 27, 2019Ich habe mich bei Aurora und Alberto sehr wohlgefühlt. Sie waren herzlich, hilfsbereit und haben mir viele Tipps zum Sightseeing gegeben. Der Kontakt vor der Reise war super, mit ausführlicher Wegbeschreibung vom Flughafen, Tipps zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln und auch die Ankunft spät in der Nacht war kein Problem. Das Zimmer war mit einem Bett und Fernseher ausreichend ausgestattet, es war alles sehr sauber und Frühstück sehr gut. Wenn ich wieder einmal in Porto bin, würde ich jederzeit wieder bei den beiden Übernachten.
Jun 27, 2019Aurora and her husband were absolutely fantastic and welcoming. They helped me a lot on how to commute and go around Porto city. The house was extremely beautiful and spotless. The toilet, the bedroom and everything was the same with the photo. Porto itself was amazing! Should have visited this region previously. Walking from Campanha station to the house was a bit hilly and quite but there was nothing to worry about. Highly recommend!

La stanza è spaziosa e luminosa, il bagno è pulito e la colazione in giardino con la marmellata fatta in casa è la migliore garanzia per un buon inizio giornata. Aurora e Alberto sono molto disponibili e sono poliglotti, la comunicazione con loro è facile e veloce. Il quartiere è tranquillissimo, si parcheggia la macchina sotto casa, con una breve passeggiata si arriva in centro. Non abbiamo avuto molto tempo per conoscerci, ma siamo stati molto bene. Grazie Aurora e Alberto.
Jun 27, 2019Aurora and Alberto were great hosts, they were kind and friendly, made it easy to see most of Porto, Alberto gave tips on best places to see and updated local map. house was comfortable, clean, you have own bathroom , garden was lovely. Had breakfast one day in garden area. They went out of their way to make you feel at home. Lovely breakfast, had homemade lemongrass tea. I had yoga class after 5 days on the Camino which was very relaxing. They are near camphana station, uphill walk but metro very cheap easy to get to and from airport. They are happy and cheerful couple. Thanks guys

Jun 27, 2019We enjoyed staying at the peaceful yoga house of Aurora and Alberto in Porto. We loved their beautiful and refreshing garden and the good breakfasts there. The house is overall an interesting and beautiful place to stay, and our room was clean and good. It was also a nice experience to join one of the morning yoga classes. We were provided useful tips and information on things to do and see in Porto, as well as for a self-organized day trip to the Douro valley. The location is a bit far for walking to the centre, however managable (we walked every day regardless of the distance and it was not a problem).

Jun 27, 2019The apartment is not in the downtown but can be reached by metro easily. the apartment is amazing and very beautiful. The breakfast provided is also exceeding expectation. Aurora is very helpful. the only thing to improve is that i dont be given a key for the apartment therefore it' s not fully convenient to decide go in and go out by myself. but overall, strongly recommend.
Jun 27, 2019For everyone who likes to stay a bit out of the centre, this place is heaven on earth! I could join the yoga class in the amazing garden!! just half an hour after arriving. The house has a great and tasteful atmosphere. Alberto and aurora are full of energy and advices. And even took the car to have a nice drink with me at one of the pretty beaches! If you still have a doubt... Don't!:)

Jun 27, 2019Aurora and Alberto were wonderful hosts! They gave lots of information about what to do in Porto, were very welcoming when we arrived, and provided delicious breakfast. Their place is beautiful and spacious. The garden is so relaxing and they shared that space generously. I had an unexpected job interview on (Hidden by Airbnb) during my stay and was able to use the wifi and the room easily, uninterrupted, which was a big relief!

And you must eat the 5€ meal Aurora's recommends. Healthy, wholesome breakfasts with endless cups of tea, clean and comfortable living spaces, and a relaxing massage - heaven.

They're house is beautiful and it was so lovely eating their delicious breakfast in the garden, such a great way to start the day. The house is nicely positioned for the Campanha train station and it only takes 10-15mins to walk into the centre of town. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone, it is an oasis while travelling.

We liked the rather 'quaint' neighborhood, close to the train and metro station as well as a walkable distance to the historic town center. Alberto is an indefatigable guide pointing out Porto's most interesting historic, architectural sights and gardens!!

Both are very welcoming and helped us with good advices of what to do, where to eat, etc. The house and the garden are perfect for those who look for some rest. Jun 27, 2019Ons verblijf overtrof al onze verwachtingen. Dit had alles te maken met de ongelofelijk lieve verhuurders Aurora en Alberto! Wat een bijzonder stel! De kamer was, netjes, schoon en warm ingericht. De privé badkamer met bad was geweldig. Het ontbijt heerlijk. De locatie ligt net buiten het centrum maar alles was prima te voet te doen. 's Nachts was het er heerlijk rustig. Wat ons betreft een aanrader voor iedereen!

Jun 27, 2019Avons passé un très agréable séjour (2 jours , 2 nuits) chez Aurora et Alberto. Leur maison est reposante et spacieuse. Nos hôtes sont plus que dévoués et débordant de gentillesse. La ville n'est qu'a environ 15 mn à pieds en marchant correctement. Pour la découverte du centre ville de Porto, Alberto a été très précis dans les détails touristiques (monuments ect...) et autre astuces. Guide parfait pour trouver de bons restos typiques et à des prix corrects. A garder précieusement dans nos archives pour un autre séjour dans leur ville.

The house is very chill, relaxed and quiet with a great garden out back. Loved the art work and decor throughout. Bed was comfy, house was clean, and breakfast was great. I would definitely recommend this place to others without hesitation and even ended up spending two extra nights here myself.

Jun 27, 2019Aurora and Alberto are fantastic hosts. The house was even more beautiful than the photos, and the room was cozy and comfortable. Also, the guest bathroom has to be my absolute favorite one I've ever had at an Airbnb - high ceilings and a great bathtub. Alberto is a great guide - he gave me two very useful maps and told me about all the sights I had to see. The location was a little further away from the action than I had anticipated - it takes 10 minutes to walk to "city center" but 20-30 minutes to walk to other happening areas of town. It was fine with me because I love to walk, but just a note. Overall, I'd highly recommend staying here and I look forward to returning!
Jun 27, 2019I had a great stay with Alberto & Aurora. They are very friendly and helpful. Alberto will provide you with maps and lots of information. The only thing to note is the location is outside of the city center (which I wanted) but it is still quite a walk if you are coming back late. After a few days, I got used to it as I became more familiar with the streets. The house is beautiful. They also offer yoga classes and massage which I was really looking forward to doing but I never got a chance to fit it into my schedule. Breakfast is great and you can also have it outside. =)

Jun 27, 2019Occasionally one stays with an Airbnb host that makes you want to open an Airbnb yourself just so that you can host them back: they are that friendly and helpful. Alberto and Aurora are such a couple. Their home is an early 19th century classic remodeled and furnished in a very peaceful, tasteful, and aesthetic way with a Buddhist influence in their art and sculpture.Their garden is beautiful, and their downstairs yoga room is very comfortable. It is a treat to take advantage of their yoga classes. Alberto was absolutely enthusiastic about making sure that we saw the Porto that he knows and loves. In addition to the many beautiful sights he recommended, he also told us where to find an authentic bar for fado, where we think we were probably the only tourists and the locals would come to sing to one another: a true taste of Oporto and the people and culture.

J'ai été très bien conseillée pour visiter la ville, ils m'ont même envoyée voir un musée et également de beaux jardins. A noter pour les futurs hôtes que leur maison est super bien située, le centre est à 10mn à pied , à proximité des transports en commun et surtout un quartier très calme qu'on apprécie après une journée bien chargée . il y aurai beaucoup de choses à rajouter car vous avez été au top . Bravo Aurora et Alberto , restez comme vous êtes , bonne continuation et j'espère revenir sur Porto car je pense que vous avez encore beaucoup de choses à me faire découvrir . Alberto took the time to explain all of the things I might like to see and do during my stay in Porto and marked places of interest on a map as he told me about them. The yoga sessions were a perfect end to my days out walking and riding. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to people looking for a nice, chilled visit to Porto.

Alberto's brilliant local knowledge he so generously shared with us mad our visit of Porto very special. Coming back in the evening to such a beautiful home and so warm and caring hosts was lovely. Looking forward to sharing another visit with my family. We walked I to town most days and took a taxi back in the evenings, an affordable luxury in Porto.

Jun 27, 2019Aurora and Albertos accomodation is located north-eastern of the main touristic places of Porto. It is easy to reach both by train and by metro. The neighbourhood is pleasently quiet and calm. Yet it is sometimes quite lengthy to get to the Ribeira of Porto, as it will take you at least 15 minutes by walking. Combined with the breathtaking garden and the relaxing Yoga-class it is like some kind of a seperate vacation within the vacation, as you can relax from the touristic stress. As soon as you reach the place, Aurora and Alberto will greet you with open and very welcoming arms. This will make you feel like home quite quickly, as you never feel like an intruder or unpleasent nuisance. Overall definitely an accommodation I would recommend!

Aurora et Alberto sont adorables, ils partagent spontanément tous leurs conseils et bonnes adresses (restaurants, etc.) sur Porto. Petit-déjeuner complet et très agréable sur la terrasse donnant sur un jardin magnifique! Un havre de paix, parfait pour pratiquer le yoga!

The location allows you the choice of transit options or of taking your time to walk to places of interest. Breakfast is a pleasure and your sleep is restful. We recommemd it highly.

Jun 27, 2019Aurora et Alberto sont tout à fait charmants, accueillants et intéressants. Leur maison est très agréable et donne à l'arrière sur un jardin. Alberto n'a pas hésité à nous consacrer un peu de temps, et a été très prolixe en conseils en tous genres sur Porto, et plus largement en informations sur le Portugal. La chambre est à l'étage, parfaitement aménagée et une salle de bains grande et décorée avec gout était à notre disposition. Au rez de chaussée il y a les pièces communes et au sous sol, la salle de yoga. Si nous revenons, nous irons assurément à nouveau chez eux et nous verrons si nous pouvons assister à un cours... La maison, toute rose, est dans un quartier calme, à environ 25 minutes à pied du centre de Porto. Le stationnement se fait dans la rue. Alberto nous a conseillé un restaurant tout proche de chez eux où nous avons mangé une excellent dîner (bon rapport qualité prix). Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour chez Aurora et Alberto.

Nous avons reçu beaucoup des informations bien dosé sur les endroits que nous pouvons visiter inclu des jolies restaurants et même des informations sur l'histoire de Potrtugal. Alberto se prenait beaucoup de Temps pour nous instruir. C' était très interessant. La maison est trés belle aussi le jardin soigne avec passion et amour. Je pouvais appartenir a une leçon de yoga ça me plaisait beaucoup et ça faisait du bien. Un grand merci à Aurora et Alberto.

We are couple with a small baby, and our hosts did everything they could to make our stay nice and comfortable. We immensely enjoyed our breakfast in the lovely garden chatting with Alberto and Aurora who take time and care to explain whatever you would like to know about Porto and the surroundings. I can only thank them for their hospitality.

The tour of the garden, the encouragement to use the garden chairs to relax on very hot days, the perfect breakfasts, the rich conversations, and their recommendations for our time in Porto are highlights of our stay in Porto.. We would love to stay with them again. A very good place to stay and sleep, an excellent place to meet some of the special people of Portugal.

It's so nice and comfortable staying with them. Alberto is passionate and having city map in his mind. With their tour tips, we left Porto with tons of happiness. Aurora also got up early and walked with me to the bus stop and made sure I was on the right bus to catch the metro to the airport. Always had a lovely breakfast when I woke.

But it was my impression that this is a very fine place to stay, the little I did get to talk to the hostess told me that they are very nice people. They gave me a very nice tip where to eat, and made me a very good breakfast. Actually I wish I could have stayed longer!

The house is even nicer than on the pictures and the two of them are super warm hosts, who spontaneously gave us a ride to the bus station so we wouldn't miss our bus! The ayurvedic massage was one of the best I ever got, perfect start into our vacation time.

Jun 27, 2019I stayed two nights with Aurora and Alberto in September and they were the best hosts. My flight arrived very late and I had to find my way to their house (with a lot of luggage) well after midnight. They were super helpful guiding me from the airport - we were in contact with each other the whole way. The house is an older renovated house - beautifully decorated and my room was quiet and cool. I had a great sleep :) The next day I was served a nice breakfast in the lovely garden and when I was ready to head into town, Alberto equipped me with a map and good advice. The house is a good 15 minute walk from the center. You can hop on a bus if you are to tired to walk back. The house is two floors and big enough for you to be private if that is what you prefer. I was happy to engage with Aurora and Alberto since I was traveling alone, but my impression is that you be as private as you wish. My trip onwards was by bus and Alberto drove me to the bus terminal which was a big help. Actually it felt like staying with family. I will be back for sure!
Jun 27, 2019I had a wonderful stay! My room was comfortable and breakfast was absolutely delicious. Aurora serves homemade jam, butter and compote with breakfast. Both Aurora and Alberto were incredibly warm and helpful. They even gave me a ride to a ferry one day! The home is on a quiet street and the center of town is easy to reach. I didn't try walking because uber was something like 4 euros and my stay was short. Overall I totally recommend. I would stay here again next time I'm in Porto. Thank you Aurora and Alberto!

Alberto and Aurora helped us a lot to navigate the city (and wonderful Portuguese culture in general) with many valuable pieces of advice, suggested tasty breakfast and in general were very kind and friendly! I wish we could come again and have more time to also visit their yoga class.

Jun 27, 2019Aurora zorgt heel goed voor haar gasten. De beschrijving naar de bnb was heel duidelijk. De kamer en badkamer waren schoon en netjes. Het ontbijt ( in hun prachtige tuin) was heerlijk met zelfgemaakte producten. Alberto is de beste gids van Porto. Hij heeft ons veel mooie plekken op de kaart aangewezen waar we met ons reisgidsje nooit gekomen zouden zijn. Met OV is het centrum goed te bereiken, maar ook lopend was het goed te doen ( half uurtje). Ik was jarig: een Portugees verjaardagsliedje, gezongen door Aurora en Alberto maakte het helemaal compleet. Kortom: een uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor een verblijf in Porto.

Day by day we got a treasure chest of insider tips which can't be found elsewhere: just follow the sites you're told to visit - each one is worth it! Thank you so much, Alberto and Aurora! The room is beautiful, very clean, and big, with a fine bathroom to guest's Disposition. Due to the weather we couldn't enjoy the big lush garden , unfortunately...!The location of the house is favorably located. There is some noise of few cars passing in front of the room on the cobblestone-street, but when you close the window you fall into sound sleep. It's a great place we would certainly choose again! Jun 27, 2019Aurora und Alberto sind Gastgeber wie sie im Buche stehen! Es war meine erste Airbnb Erfahrung und ich hätte es nicht besser treffen können! Neben all den insider Tipps von Alberto, durfte ich am Abend beim Yoga mitmachen und jeden Morgen Aurora’s selbstgemachte Marmelade beim Frühstück auf der Terrasse genießen. Ich hatte ein wunderschöne Zeit und hab mich vom ersten Tag an bis hin zu meiner Abreise um 5 Uhr morgens stets willkommen gefühlt! Das Haus ist einfach wunderschön und die Lage (7 min bis zum nächsten Bahnhof) perfekt. Ich kann euch Aurora’s Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen! Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Jun 27, 2019오로라와 알레르토는 매우 친절했어요 아침밥도 맛있었고 원래 커피를 주셨는데 제가 외출 후 집에 돌아올때 초코우유를 따로 사서 먹으니까 아침에 커피대신 네스퀵을 주시는 등 많이 배려해주었습니다. 방도 매우 깨끗했고 화장실도 혼자 써서 좋았습니다. 하지만 위치가 시내에서 좀 멀어요 그리고 캄파냐 역에서도 가까운게 아니더라구요. 특히 밤에 캄파냐에서 숙소 가는길은 너무 무섭습니다. 포르투 자체가 빈집이 많다보니 거리가 너무 휑하고 사람이없어서 ㅠㅠ 여성분이시라면 숙소 체크인할때 낮에 도착하는걸 추천드립니다.

Jun 27, 2019Location is amazing, everything within the city is within walking distance. Aurora was very helpful as she provided me with a detailed message regarding metro directions from the airport. My flight landed at 1030PM and they were accommodating when I arrived at their house at 12PM. The breakfast was delicious as they were options of coffee, tea toast and cereal. Alberto was helpful as he provided me with a map highlighting landmarks and recommended delicious restaurants for lunch and dinner. There is also a yoga studio in the basement and you can attend their class for free which is terrific. The bed was very comfortable. I have only good thing to say about this airbnb and would recommend it to anyone!
Jun 27, 2019Aurora and her husband have a beautiful, clean and well decorated home. I felt very welcomed as they gave me a tour of their house. After I settled in, they gave me a map and marked where all the major attractions were then they told me the easiest ways to get around. They also provided laundry service for a price which was a convenience that I was very grateful for. Since it was in the 40F. at night, they provided a bundle of warm blankets for my bed. The house is located about 20-25 minute walk from the main square, so I usually took an uber. Overall, I had a great experience and I would definitely recommend their house for a nice, clean and quiet room to stay.

Jun 27, 2019We felt very much at home. The location was perfect to vist Porto. Fot us it was important to that there was a bauetiful golfcourse near the cost only 10 minutes away. Aurora and her husband helped us with everything. We had a masage and followed a yogaclass. The bed and room was warm and compfortable.
Jun 27, 2019Aurora和Alberto家是我在葡萄牙十天之旅中住过的性价比最高的民宿!房子特别大,很有空间感,尤其喜欢浴室,很豪华的感觉｡Alberto会仔细为你讲解关于波尔图的一切,包括哪里观光,哪里吃东西,让你与普通游客的选择不一样,而且都很赞哦!Aurora非常贴心,头一天下雨我弄湿了裤子和袜子,就扔在了房间里,第二天回家发现她都帮我烤干了｡｡怕我晚上睡觉冷,她还帮我冲了热水袋,提前捂在被窝里,其实她家是双层玻璃的房子,一点都不冷｡她家还有很漂亮的小花园,只可惜天气不好,没有好好享受｡离火车站很近,去市区的话,走路大概1.7公里,不算远,但推荐坐公交车,很方便,也很快捷｡总之十分推荐在波尔图住Aurora家｡
Jun 27, 2019Die Gastgeber sind zwei tolle, herzliche Menschen. Ich habe mich bei den beiden sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer hat alles, was man benötigt, das Bett fand ich sehr bequem. Die Einrichtung hat mir sehr gut gefallen. In der Zeit als ich da war, hatte ich das wunderschöne Bad ganz für mich alleine. Das Frühstück war lecker, vor allem die selbstgemachte Marmelade war toll. Es gibt super Tipps für Unternehmungen und Touren durch die Stadt, die einen auch mal in weniger touristische Gegenden der Stadt bringen. Das fand ich besonders toll. Die angegebenen 15 Minuten ins Zentrum führen einen dann aber erst an den Rand des Zentrums. Vom Douro sind es eher 30-45 Minuten, je nachdem, wie schnell man unterwegs ist und welchen Weg man nimmt. Busse und Metro fahren aber regelmäßig und bieten eine gute Alternative, wenn man dann doch mal keine Lust hat zu laufen. Insgesamt bietet diese Unterkunft alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Gerade die Gastgeber machen den Aufenthalt zu etwas besonderem. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig. Danke nochmals für einen rundum wundervollen Aufenthalt!

Jun 27, 2019Jeg boede hos Aurora og Alberto i 11 dage, og de er virkelige noge dejlige mennesker, og huset de har er meget charmerende med eget yogalokale og dejlig have, så det er et perfekt sted at være. Det ligger ca 10 minutters gang fra centrum i en rolig gade, og hvis du er intereseret i yoga er du havnet det helt rigtige sted. Yogaundervisningen er gratis og jeg lavede yoga hver dag, og Alberto giver en rigtig god kropsmassage til kun 40€, så det benyttede jeg mig af et par gange. Man føler sig meget velkommen i deres hjem, så jeg kan varmt anbefale dem. Med venlig hilsen Torbjørn

Jun 27, 2019Staying with Aurora and Alberto is already worth a visit to Porto! They are warm, welcoming, easy going and interesting to talk to. We loved their yoga studio! The house is nicely decorated and cozy, well located to be near the centre but away from the noise, and we could park our car in their street. We wish we had more time to spend there :)
Jun 27, 2019It’s clear why Aurora has been a Superhost seven times! We had missed our bus stop so were late arriving. To ensure that we got to her place Aurora came and met the bus, past her normal bed time. She also provided a heater when she realized we were chilly. Her partner, Alberto, shared his extensive knowledge of Porto to help us plan our visit there. I was grateful to be able to join their yoga classes, situated in their home studio. All in all, a 5 star experience!

I had been in Porto for a few days by that point so it was nice to stay slightly further out of the city centre and explore a different part of town (ten minutes walk from Campanha station, approximately 25 minutes walk from Sao Bento station).

Jun 27, 2019Ich habe 2 Wochen bei Aurora und Alberto verbracht. Der Aufenthalt war großartig. Das reichhaltige Frühstück im Garten, die Ausflüge die Alberto ausgearbeitet hat jeden Morgen, bis hin zu gemeinsamen Aktivitäten. Alles war perfekt. Wenn man mag, kann man Yoga machen. Das Haus mit Garten ist ein kleines Paradies. Die Nächte sind ruhig, das Bett sehr bequem. Zu Fuß in die Altstadt sind es ca. 20 Minuten, zur nächsten Metro und zum Bahnhof ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Kleinere Restaurants in der Umgebung sind in 5-15 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Gastfreundschaft der beiden ist wirklich einmalig. Einen Aufenthalt bei Aurora und Alberto kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Jun 27, 2019I very much enjoyed my stay at Aurora and Alberto's place. They made me feel welcomed throughout my stay and I really enjoyed having a breakfast in their beautiful garden! Their house is also close to many historic sights and Alberto game me suggestions for things to see in Porto . Thank you for such a great stay! I wish I could have stayed longer!

We felt very welcome and the couple had lots of tips and suggestions what and how to explore in Porto. We had a great stay and Alberto was so nice to let us join one of his yoga classes. I can only recommend the two hosts and their home!

Jun 27, 2019Aurora & Robert have been amazing hosts! They gave me great tipps for everything (sightseeing, restaurants, activities .... you name it). I even got the opportunity to particupate in a yoga class and an amazing breakfast every day. You'll reach the city center within a 15min walk, on which you can already watch some cgurches etc. If I should ever come back to Porto, for sure I would try to stay there again. Thank you for your kindness and help!

Jun 27, 2019This is the place if you like a peaceful stay in Porto. We had Yoga and massage. Every morning we had breakfast in the beautiful garden. Alberto gave us the best tips where to go. Alberto and Aurora are the best hostess.
Jun 27, 2019The rooms in Aurora's house are very clean and include all the basic needs. The breakfast was ok, the garden was beautiful and Aurora is very very kind. They are helpful and enthusiastic. The only 'downside' is the distance to the center, which is quite a walk.
Jun 27, 2019Aurora's place is a home away from home. We were greeted very enthusiastically by Aurora and Alberto. They are the most hospitable hosts you can ever find. The house was spacious, bright and very welcoming. We felt comfortable and at ease immediately especially after a long trip. Their garden which was what attracted me to their place was not a disappointment. My friend and I enjoyed a relaxing moment there one afternoon. The house was super clean, bed was comfortable, the private washroom was huge, spacious and clean. Breakfast was so good with homemade jams from their own garden. The hosts were very generous enough to share with us the fruits from their own trees. Plums were so sweet. (Small gestures mean a lot.) They even came with us and introduced us to a friendly cafe nearby where we always had our "tosta mista con cafe". They definitely know what places to see in Porto and they gave us proper instructions/directions and advice. Some extras: if you are into yoga and meditation, you are welcome to join. The host can give you a good massage for a very, very reasonable rate. It is easy to see why they became a superhost. If and when I have a chance to go and visit Porto again, I will definitely stay at Aurora's place again. As my friend said, it is like visiting your faraway cousins. Jun 27, 2019The hosts went above and beyond to make you feel at home. The home was absolutely perfect and clean. Great location to the city center and they gave us a map with fantastic directions and local tips. The breakfast they prepared every morning was delicious and their garden was very relaxing. Aurora and her husband also gave a ride to the airport and let us do laundry. I would absolutely come back again and would recommend their home as a perfect place to stay. They are a very memorable couple.

They are a nice couple and gave me lots of information, which was helpful enough to explore Porto, enjoy eating out and purchase what I had wanted. I will definitely stay here again next time in the city, and join their yoga classes and relax more in their lovely garden!

There is nothing to really explain about the very clean room and convenient location. (It is 20 mins by walk from the city centre!) They took care of me a lot, gave me lots of useful information and made me feel like at home. Indeed, it was a very special experience to have amazing breakfast in the beautiful garden. I will definitely stay in this place when I visit Porto again.

Jun 27, 2019Ich hatte eine sehr tolle Zeit in Porto! Die Stadt ist toll, es gibt viel zu sehen und auch das Umland ist wunderbar. Alles ist von der Unterkunft aus sehr gut zuerreichen, ich bin zu Fuß ins Zentrum gelaufen, aber auch die Bahn ist nur ca. 5 Minuten entfernt. Aurora und Alberto sind sehr gastfreundliche Menschen, was den Aufenthalt zu einem wunderbaren Urlaub gemacht hat. Frühstück, Tee, Tipps, Yogakurse und Ausflüge machten meine Woche in Porto zu einem besonderen Erlebnis.... Das Haus ist groß, geräumig, sehr schön und ästhetisch eingerichtet, auch der Garten und das Yogastudio sind besonders liebevoll eingerichtet und ich habe mich rundum wohl gefühlt. Definitiv zu empfeheln!

Jun 27, 2019My mom and I have had a nice stay at Alberto and Aurora’s beautiful home. Their house is located just a bit outside of the historical center so it’s the perfect option if you want a quiet place with easy parking available on the street. Alberto and Aurora care a lot about their guest and are very resourceful about the city and the other areas around Porto for day trips. We were pleased with our stay there.

We were given great local recommendations for places to eat and a really lovely breakfast in the morning. The house is really beautiful and cosy, the bed we stayed in was really comfy and the bathroom was beautiful. Would definitely recommend.
Jun 27, 2019The local people restaurant that Alberto recommended is really authentic food! Very thank you ! Especially the Cod roll and cod with potato dish is so amazing. This restaurant NOVA ERA is a little far but can reach by walk or metro 24-August station.

Jun 27, 2019Aurora and Roberto offer a home and their warmth not just a room and a key. The lovely old wood burner roaring away downstairs and the use of the heater in the bedroom add to the homely feeling. Aurora is kind and considerate and Roberto informative and keen to help. The bathroom is lovely with hot water and the simple breakfast with homemade jams etc was a nice addition. The bedroom looks a little plain but is perfect for its use, mattresses are hard and pillows thin but the covers are cosy, everything was clean. The yoga by Roberto is nice, he speaks in Portugese all the way through which means you might not always follow what to do. Both Roberto and Aurora speak English which is helpful. I would recommend this place.

We unexpectedly had to leave early and they were also very accommodating with the the hiccup. We greatly appreciate their help. Their place is 15 min more or less from the center and there is a metro and many bus stops nearby too. We recommend it.
