Enjoy a spectacular sunset from your private screened in lanai at the end of your day in paradise and you may be treated to whale sightings. You have the entire 1st floor of 3 story home in beautiful Captain Cook. 45 min to Kona & 1 hr to volcano If checking in before 4:30pm please call for instructions; after 4:30pm, come on out. We are 20 minutes south of Captain Cook. If you do not eat in town, bring what you want to eat as there are no grocery stores or restaurants near us. We have a full-sized refrigerator, microwave and a hot plate. After you turn on Ili Ili, we are the first house on the left. Please park on the street by the wall in front of the house that is 3-stories. Walk up the driveway to the door on the left. We have wifi.

Great place to wake up in, surrounded by views of ocean and cliffs. Room is connected to large porch with a net screen to avoid the bugs from getting in. Woke up to coffee and biscotti, would definitely go back.

Jun 27, 2019We were pleasantly surprised by how big the place was and the incredible views of the ocean. The place is a little remote but luckily Velma advised us to purchase some groceries before heading over to the place.
Jun 27, 2019The place has an unobstructed view to the ocean, the neighborhood is very quiet and Velma+Gene are just steps away if you need something. Velma was prompt to establish communication and was very accommodating with the requests that we had. The location is fairly remote, so make sure that you stock up on food prior to coming.

Jun 27, 2019It's quiet, except for the rumbles of the ocean, music to my ears. Close to old Hawaii style, I just loved the feel and beauty of the area. Just the right distance to Kona. Your right there in the 100% Kona coffee belt. Visited 2 farms ,Old Hawaiian coffee, very old style to see. Then we also visited a larger one! Have fun we sure did!

Jun 27, 2019We would of preferred the room on the second floor which was shown in the listing. We felt uncomfortable in what appeared to be the private residence with all their personal stuff everywhere. The location and view were great. Very quiet.

Jun 27, 2019Velma is a wonderful person, very caring and nice lady. This place of her is very beautiful, clean and very tastefully decorated with amazing views from huge glass windows on three sides. The unit is very private and separate from the other house. It also has the attached bathroom and the kitchen is also with this unit. I would definitely recommend this unit to others and if I will be back in the area, I will certainly request Velma to host us again. Hope to meet with you again Velma.
Jun 27, 2019We live on the Hilo side of the island. When I got back to Hawaii after a 2 month stay , my husband welcomed me home with a 3 day stay on the Kona side of the island. Velma was very helpful and the place was awesome! Location location location! wow what a view. Sunsets! We will be back often. I am adding more pictures of this unique place. This is real Hawaii, bring food with you it's a ways from a store.
Jun 27, 2019Velma's accomodation is very spacious and has an amazing view on the hawaiian costline. We could even see whales from there. in the little kitchen on the balcony you'll find all you need and Velma even welcomed us with muffins and drinks in the fridge.
Jun 27, 2019This place has everything you need and feels like an entire home, not part of another home. The kitchen is only slightly limited but a real foodie won't have a problem making any dish desired. The bed is comfortable, coffee in bed every morning a pleasure due to the spectacular views and sound of ocean waves. There are too many great things to say about this place. Just go see. Both of our hosts were exceptionally sweet, and always available. Suggestion: when Siri tells you to turn left onto ili ili road, go one more street.
Jun 27, 2019We had a good time at Velma's place. The view is awesome, the bed was comfortable and it's really private and calm. The road to access Velma's house is very steep and can be a bit scary but that's ok.
Jun 27, 2019The view at Velma's is panoramic - it is much better than can be represented by any photograph! We loved hearing the waves crashing on the shore and the crickets at night. My husband loved cooking in the little outdoor kitchen and it is surrounded by screen so bugs won't bother you. Everything was very spacious. We didn't get to see much of Velma as we only stayed one night but she was very kind and welcoming.

Jun 27, 2019We arrived at 9:30 pm, after dark, but we were welcomed nicely. The room is spacious (even for 4 adults) and the views are spectacular. There is a nice screened porch for dining that was a nice surprise, and Velma left delicious muffins and juice in the refrigerator for us for breakfast. What a nice touch! I'm not sure if laundry facilities would have been available, as we arrived so late. The place was very clean, and Velma and her husband were very pleasant people! I would definitely stay there again.

Otherwise this is a great choice! Velma and Eugene was very welcoming, prompt to respond to messages, and have a beautiful home.

You are nestled in a very quiet neighborhood, with an impressive location above the ocean, everyone was very friendly.

Velma and her husband were very acomodating to our changes of plans and communicated well and in good time. While she was always contactable by text or by going upstairs the couple kept to themselves allowing us plenty of space to rest.

We didn't realize there was no oven and bought frozen pizzas. When we arrived Velma and Eugene were gracious enough to cook our pizzas for us! Thank you, Velma!

Jun 27, 2019Velma was absolutely wonderful! I was late checking in because I got lost and then there was an accident 10 miles from her on the twisty and dark one lane "highway" that required a pretty treacherous work-around which was even more steep, twisty, dark and rainy. The street they are on is also all those things, which is to say, arrive during the day if you possibly can! But Velma was very accommodating and communicative and welcoming once I finally arrived (and stayed such with any questions that came up while there, also.) It's remote, but once you see the view and have such a relaxing place to be it will be worth it. Spent most of the day recuperating there and it was very enjoyable. Coffee and muffins were great! Do bring food. Da poke shack isn't far and has great poke, keokis is also sweet, but hours vary, so make sure you have stuff to eat and the kitchen has everything you'll need (except an oven or range). Wifi was only strong in a few places in the room, so don't expect to stream. I'd recommend this place as a checkpoint going the southern route from side to side, get there before dark and watch the amazing sunset.

After a long travel time to get to Hawaii, it was an absolute dream to settle in to this little paradise and enjoy the views and get some rest. The screened in Wrap-around lenai makes it safe from the pesky mosquitos. We used it as a "half-way" point between Kona and Hilo, since we were going to spend the next couple nights there. It is secluded, so bring food!

Jun 27, 2019Very friendly and helpful couple! In case of need they help you out with anything as they are just living above the apartment. The furniture is really tidy, clean and is looking beautiful. The apartment is really big! Best part is it is the view to the ocean! Wonderful like in dreams with a big balcony! I really recommend staying there as it is better than a hotel and a lot cheaper and more private. Mahalo Velma!

Jun 27, 2019Staying at Velma's is like a trip to grandma's. But instead of the the scary woods, there is an awesome ocean view! It's more than a private room. There's lots of space including a well equipped kitchenette on one of the lanais. The neighborhood is down a very steep hillside that meets the ocean. Velma and her husband are very nice and accommodating.

Velma was the most kind hostess from the first moment on, and helped us whenever we turned to her for help. The place was clean and tidy and very spacious. Jun 27, 2019Communication with Velma was great. My flight was delayed late into the night so she asked her husband to wait for me to check in. The entire 2nd floor was mine. I like that it is quiet and cool at night. The bathroom towels can be cleaner though: After I toweled myself dry, I found one piece of long white hair and another piece of long black hair on my arms. I have short hair so they can't be mine. Overall, if the towels can be cleaned more thoroughly, this place is a good place to stay in Kona.

This amazingly beautiful space with 180 degree ocean views, mild breezes and warm and friendly hosts made our visit to the island one we will always treasure. The room is very spacious to accommodate a group of four. It is located 20 minutes away from Captain Cook which was convenient for us. Velma and her husband were very friendly and welcoming. Jun 27, 2019We loved the quiet neighborhood, the gorgeous views in the day and the night (moonbeams on the ocean!), the screened in porches, the location (loved swimming and snorkeling at Pebbles Beach), the comfortable beds and practical kitchen. Having the whole 2nd floor was nice and private, really a little apartment all to ourselves! Velma's son was very welcoming and hospitable. Offered to put our beach towels in the dryer and his kids delivered them all dry and folded up a bit later...such a treat!

However, we can say the welcome was great, room and beds were clean good and spacious with large terrace. When we woke up, we were astonished by the view. Some delays have to be expected by car to go to Captain Cook or Kona due to traffic we experienced in the morning.

Be aware the road down to the house is pretty steep and bit narrow...especially in the dark. We also saw lots of cute little green lizards early in the morning!!

The room is very large and clean, The dining space on the Lanai is super comfortable and allows you to hear the nature sounds in the evening. The geckos are fun to watch and keep the home pest free...they are your friends! Lighting in the kitchen is minimal so cooking after dark is a challenge. Although our stay was only for 1 night we were welcomed and treated as a guest. Velma is kind woman who clearly cares for others. Thank you

Jun 27, 2019Spacious room with super nice view with walkable distance to Peddle beach (almost like private beach). Very quiet neighborhood, I had such a good night sleep. The only complaint i have is not having the place cleaned on time. Luckily the beach was nearby so we stayed out for few hours and got back around 1700.
Jun 27, 2019Place was a great quick one night stay if you are there on the way to the south side of the island from Kona. The outdoor kitchen area was great, the outside porch area was breathtaking. Space was large and loved the ability to allow a lot of airflow with the open doors/ windows. If there could be improvements I would say the making the place more visible at night. It was extremely hard to find without any lights in the front or the house number illuminated. Luckily the host Jeremy gave us his number and we were able to communicate with him on finding the place. It would have been nice beforehand to find it though and also where to park. If you not used to driving extremely steep and winding roads, I would advise. Although the drive was worth the view, it was also terrifying at night time. Even with experience driving in San Fran, Colorado, etc. All in all a decent quick one night stay.

Kühlschrankkombi und Kaffeemaschine vorhanden, ansonsten eher sparsam ausgestattet. Das Haus steht an einem steilen Hang. Entsprechend ist die Anfahrt. Dafür eben der tolle Ausblick aufs Meer. Die große Terrasse ist mit unaufdringlichen Fliegengitter vor Insekten geschützt.

Jun 27, 2019Velma's home is exactly as described... It's away from the town, off the main road, down a steep hill, and the views are incredible!! There is also a little beach at the bottom of the hill. One of our favorite touches was the screened in porch overlooking the ocean, absolutely perfect for enjoying morning coffee and avoiding the mosquitos (didn't get bit once!).

Jun 27, 2019Beautiful view from the room but the parking of our tiny rental sedan up the driveway was a challenge. The room was located in the second floor of the house and was very spacious. As we opened the door there were some sort of worms crawling near the door, that was a huge scare for me. However the bed area was clean, the bathroom is ok. I'd get this place only if I were to crash for a day or two but not for longer stays.

Jun 27, 2019Clean, large, private, and with dynamite views as advertised. Excellent access to the Captain Cook/south Kona area. Velma and her on-premises son, Jeremy, were gracious and helpful. The space could have been even better with a few basic amenities like TV (I know, who comes to Hawaii to watch TV? Still, the listing should be accurate.), paper towels for the kitchen and soap, shampoo for the shower - especially since nearest shopping is 40 minutes away. Nevertheless, good value for the $. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Jun 27, 2019This place has spectacular views and was a great value compared to other places around. There was a large ount of screened outdoor seating which was awesome. We enjoyed that the home was nestled down off the main road and away from Kona. The small outdoor kitchen was great and has what you need for small fpor preparation. The home is on rainwater catchment and energy efficient water heating so if you are looking for long showers this wouldn't be a first pick for you, for us it wasn't a big deal, we are all for energy conservation and we didn't come to the island to spend time in the shower anyway. :) They were able to accommodate us on late short notice and that was very very much appreciated. The pillows smelled kind of odd but probably due to the combo of humidity and heat they get here. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay here and would recommend and revisit. Thanks again.

If you are expecting a high-end, spotless hotel with matching towels, you might want to look elsewhere. However, if you are looking for a comfortable abode at a great price with a fantastic view and amazing hosts, look no further! Previous reviews aren’t kidding about that view; it’s killer. And the best part is you get the panorama from the entire room - the windows are amazing. As we were checking in, I mentioned that I wished we had stopped and picked up a beer, to sit on the deck and enjoy the sunset with. Three minutes later our host came down with a 6-pack of IPA’s (my husband’s favorite), explaining that a local brewery had given them to him and he wasn’t keen on IPA’s. Ahhh, what a great way to unwind after 24 hours of travel. We then went to sleep with the doors wide open (to the screened-in porch), listening to the sound of the ocean. I WOULD recommend picking up some food and ground coffee before heading to Velma’s. While the location is central to the island, it is not close to groceries or other similar amenities. There is a coffee maker (yes!!) in the outdoor kitchen. Mahalo, and Mele Kalikimaka!
Jun 27, 2019We only stayed one day at Velma's place (wish it was longer!) but it was really nice, clean and very comfortable. The view was easily the best part of the place but everything else was just as amazing. We would stay here again for sure.
Jun 27, 2019Beautiful house on the mountainside. It was a bit of a steep drive down to the house itself, but once there the view was worth it! The water system is rain catchment, so the water supply is limited. Wifi worked wonderfully. The coffee and tea were greatly appreciated. There is a fridge, hot water boiler, coffee maker, and sink available. Very friendly via email and phone!

We woke up to a magnificent sea view and dined at the balcony. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kona!
Jun 27, 2019This living space has a fantastic 180º view of the coast and is half a mile, uphill, of a quaint pebble beach. You can see the stars at night. This is much better than a hotel. You can watch the Sun set over the horizon of the Pacific Ocean from the spacious, screened-in balcony. The kitchenette was well equipped.

Jun 27, 2019This place was a perfect spot for us to sleep after getting in to the Kona airport at 9pm. Wasn't hard to find and the slopes aren't thaaaat crazy. Didn't see sunrise but it would have been amazing. Watching the sky light up as the sun rose was amazing. The host was great and checking in with us to make sure we got in okay bc it was after when someone would be able to meet us. Great value!

The bed and bathroom was fine, they do ask you to take your trash with you instead of leaving it, just an FYI. Ive never heard of that before. We got in late and left early and didn’t hear, see or speak to anyone else but that was fine. It was a good place to stay. I’d stay there again.

Jun 27, 2019We enjoyed our stay and what a Wonderful view of the shoreline and ocean! The road is steep and winding going down to their house, so we were thankful to have driven it in daylight. There was adequate parking for 2 vehicles next to the retaining wall out front, leaving an 80 foot walk up the steep driveway. The two screened in porches on either side of the unit were nice to have if there are mosquitoes. There is no TV and the WIFI was weak and slow - a consideration if you’re staying a while. We didn’t plan to use the outdoor kitchen facilities, but the fridge and microwave were nice to have. Mahalo.

Jun 27, 2019We enjoyed Jeremy's friendly welcome and it was an unexpected surprise to have the refrigerator, toaster and hot plate to keep our food and cook a bit in the morning before we left. It is spacious, with a nice dining place on one of the two screen in decks. In the morning, there was a nice view out over the pebbled beach a few streets below that looked very swimmable when we were there. If you are a cautious driver, do be aware that it is very steep driving up and down.

The drive is steep, but very manageable even in a small rental car without 4-wheel drive. A great place to explore sights such as Two Step, and beaches nearby.

Jun 27, 2019This was such a peachy spot. We wanted to.be away from everything and this suited us to a T. The studiolike space was huge, bright (really really bright if you're the type who needs a mask, I'm not), well thought out and had sweet touches all over the place. There were virtually zero mosquitoes, there were little green lizards all over the place. They were friendly, harmless and stayed high on the walls or ceilings, nice little buddies to chat with. Dragging your garbage out is a pain since the transfer stations seems like mystical oasis that's close when you do actually find it, but I get it. When we finally crossed paths with Jeremy he was super friendly, gave us an extra fan and some muffins, thank you! I'm struggling to come up with any real complaints, there was a wifi dead spot on our favourite lanai (awww) and the best wifi was in the bathroom. There wasn't any real hot water but since we were hot anyway from adventures, the warmish water felt great... I would stay here again, I'd like to just move in :) Ps. The pictures dont do it justice, this is a GOOD place With love from Canada

We loved that it is close to all of the best snorkeling spots on the island. The amenities are somewhat basic, but we had everything we needed. The apartment was very clean, and has amazing views. We will definitely be visiting again!

The place was spacious, clean, light, and bright. The road down to the house was very steep, but worth the drive out of town. Definitely recommend this location.

Jun 27, 2019Awesome view of the ocean! There's an outside (but screened-in) kitchen area and refrigerator if you're looking at a longer stay. We slept 3 guys on the big bed and had enough room to be comfortable, and had our lady on the single bed. Be sure your best driver is behind the wheel on your way in, as the drive is unexpectedly adventurous and can be tough at night!

Jun 27, 2019전망이 너무 좋음. 돌고래를 볼 수 있다고 했는데 못 봄. 한적하고 새소리 나고 선선한 바람 불고 매우 좋으나, 에어콘이 없어서 눅눅함. 선풍기에 먼지가 가득 껴 있어서 보기가 않 좋았음. 밤에 도마뱀이 나와서 딸하고 와이프가 한바탕 난리났음. 이 가격에 가격대비 매우 훌륭한 것 같음. 좀 외진데 있어서 마트 가려면 차타고 30분정도 가야하고 코나로 가려면 50분정도 달린 것 같음

Jun 27, 2019We last minute booked Velma's place after deciding to stay an extra night on the Kona side, and it was perfect for a one night stay. It is a bit outside of Kona, but a beautiful drive and closer to Volcano NP and green sand beach/the southern point. Velma was quick to respond. Her son checked us in and was so friendly, he even brought us muffins and juice in the morning! The views from the balcony are beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

Jun 27, 2019This place is amazing. Don't let the creepy pictures detour you. Glass walls allow you to see the view of the ocean no matter where you are inside. Make sure you pack your eye masks or else you'll be up with the sun. Muffins and Cereal where a nice touch. There is wifi. I'd definitely stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019Jérémy nous a accueillis et il a était vraiment très gentil et serviable. Merci !! La chambre est vaste et a une vue incroyable sur la mer. Le mobilier a par contre pas mal de vécu, mais tous les aménagements sont présents. Vu les prix d'hébergement sur l'île en général, cette chambre a un bon rapport qualité-prix. Par contre, l'accès y est vraiment surprenant. La pente est tellement abrupte que mon conjoint a préféré laisser l'auto en haut de la côte le premier soir, par peur de ne pouvoir la remonter le lendemain, jour de notre départ. Nous avons donc descendu de nuit, à pied pendant 20 minutes la route à pic en compagnie de coquerelles et de mille pattes (qui sont habituelles sur l'île). Le lendemain, il nous a fallu remonter cette pente très (Website hidden by Airbnb) vous réveille !!! Bref, heureusement que c'était pour une seule nuit, et non pour une semaine complète...

Jun 27, 2019Large space, very comfortable bed, nice screened in porches to maximize the breeze, amazing views of ocean and while outside of the tsunami zone still very close to beach. Excellent snorkeling beaches nearby. GPS took us right to the house. The only down side is you need a rental car to get there as you are well south (30 to 45 minutes) of Kona and its airport. Velma was away but her two sons were exceedingly helpful with advice about the area. Ultimately the question I always ask myself about any airbnb is would stay with a host again. The answer here is of course.

Jun 27, 2019Velma's place is the full second story of a residence in a quiet neighborhood near Captain Cook. It was the perfect retreat for my husband and me after a long day's travel, when we just wanted to chill, read, and watch an amazing sunset from the screened-in lanai (which is important in August to avoid the mosquitoes). There's also an unscreened lanai, which provided an unobstructed view of the ocean (except for a few power lines, although those were easy to ignore). We loved having both options. Velma's son Don greeted us and showed us the ins and outs of the place, which includes an outdoor kitchen sufficient for some simple cooking, and complimentary muffins for each guest, bottled water, and freshly ground Kona coffee for the morning. We didn't end up using the kitchen, but we appreciated having the fridge to store beverages. There's also a bottled water dispenser in the main room to fill your own bottles, which was really nice late at night when I needed a quick drink. The bathroom was well equipped with all the necessities, and the king-sized bed was divine! I slept so well the one night we spent at Velma's place because of the comfort, quiet, and lovely, relaxing atmosphere.

Jun 27, 2019Really fantastic views from the entire unit. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy the ocean view. Screened in outdoor kitchen with Great amenities. Screened in large outdoor porch on the other side of the very large space. This screened in outdoor porch has a table and 4 chairs. A rocking chair with cushion, a bamboo cushion chair w/ottoman were super comfortable and extra nice to have to enjoy. There is even a desk w/chair as well and a nice outdoor rug on the tile. There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom. This bedroom is very large with wooden floors and large closet with mirrors. The bed is a California King Bed! There’s even a dresser, side tables, and a nice comfy chair. There’s a Day bed, and a mattress/cushion for additional sleep space if needed. The bathroom is a full bathroom with nice body bathing products. The front balcony/lani is as wide as the whole 2nd floor you get to stay in. It’s a beautiful view. There are very large windows all around which give you a view no matter where you’re at in the unit. I will be back! Be aware that the drive is steep due to going down mountain toward the ocean. Steep. Really great views all around the homes there. Truly great location. Very friendly host.

Jun 27, 2019Velma’s place is great. We had Velma make up the trundle since there were 3 adults and a 15yr old and it was done. All of the beds were comfortable and there were enough pillows and blankets (not that we needed s blanket). The screened lanai’s are excellent and we had no mosquitos. There are blinds in every window that needs privacy but the big picture window didn’t have a blind so you’ll wake up with the morning light to incredible unobstructed views. The cooking facilities were basic but we had everything that we needed and Velma’s son Donnie had set us up with a muffin, juice and water each which was so thoughtful. He also had lots of helpful hints. The pebble beach at the bottom of the street was fabulous and very handy. I wish we had more time to enjoy the coast but we’ll just have to come back again.

Jun 27, 2019The beauty of this place is the peaceful neighborhood and screened in porch to enjoy the amazing view. With two kids this easily accommodated all of us. Fresh water, coffee and muffins are provided. The fans were sufficient to keep us cool through the night and we could enjoy and appreciate the weather sleeping with the windows and sliders open. Comfortable and cozy space with an amazing view. We only stayed one night but would have gladly stayed more. If you seek peace and quiet, this is the place!
Jun 27, 2019Nothing like waking up to a view of the Pacific! My family and I had the entire second floor to ourselves -- lots of space, comfy beds, and fully equipped bathroom, kitchen, and veranda. Velma's son Lonnie was super friendly, and gave us great tips on snorkeling spots right near the house. Definitely the best accommodation of our trip to Hawaii.

Jun 27, 2019The view every morning and every night was incrdiable! The screened in pitches made the house so spacious and to be able to have the air flow all night was more than we could have asked for. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Jun 27, 2019Amazing place the view is gorgeous. Velma was very helpful we had little bit of a hard time find the location but she stayed on the phone with me until we found the house. Donnie was so helpful and welcoming he gave us a few locations to check out. We would definitely stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019When I put Kona in the search engine, I didn’t expect to get a place an hour away in Captain Cook. Picked it for the value because we just needed a place to shower and take a nap before going to airport in the evening. It was an added bonus to drive there and see the beauty of that area...just cut our time shorter because we had to drive an hour to get to the airport.

Jul 27, 2019Has everything you need to function for a long or short stay. The view from the wraparound lanai is fantastic. Place is a little far from any kind of amenities and would be impossible without a car. Grade is very steep getting down to the house.

Jun 27, 2019The view from the room is amazing! Er got to see whales and dolphins from the room! We couldn't catch the sunset but the unobstructed view should result in some spectacular sights. The room is really big, completely private with a very comfortable bed and great hosts!
Jun 27, 2019Velma’s place is in an amazing location. The view towards the ocean is amazing, specially for the sunset and its mosquito proof (it has a net all around). The apartment has a fridge, cooking area, and even drinkable water! We didn’t meet Velma but her son Don gave us a warm welcome and some inside tips of the island. He even lend us some snorkel gear to complement ours. The drive is a bit steep but we managed even with a small car. Amazing place!

Jun 27, 2019The room is huge with your own private bath and a kitchenette on the Lanai. Waking up to that view of the Ocean is priceless. Also great Central location in Captain Cook, with easy access to Volcano & Hilo. 45mins from Kona, 1hr from Kona Airport. Don was really helpful and even gave me some natural meds for my sinus/allergies that really helped me. (I should’ve gotten the name) Thank you for a great stay Don & Velma
Jun 27, 2019The view is beyond gorgeous. It's a private room, but definitely attached to the main house. you use the same front door as other guests/ owners. Balcony and outdoor kitchen is all for your personal use, which I didn't know before booking. We couldn't find coffee filters, but there are many things useful in the kitchen. All screened in, but still got mosquito bites and had a HUGE spider in the bathroom! Still the view was beautiful.

Jun 27, 2019We stayed at Velma’s for one night and it was ok. Don welcomed us and gave us many recommendations, which was nice. The view of the place overlooking the ocean is just great. Kitchen is very basic and outside, everything a bit sticky. Ok for 1-2 nights.

Jun 27, 2019The view is beautiful and we did hear and see whales several times from the veranda. We loved the outdoor kitchen. One thing to note for other travelers if you are cooking is there are few supplies so bring what you need. The drive up and down is steep but you certainly get used to it. We had a great time and the location works well for all activities.
