Kurtuluş, (formerly known as Tatavla meaning "horse stable" in Greek) is a cosmopolitan safe neighborhood of Şişli whose population consists of Turks, Greeks, Armenians, Kurds, and Jews. Our apartment is very near to a big main street named Kurtuluş Caddesi, where you can find a lot of markets, pharmacies, shopping malls, cafes, cake shops, banks, hospitals, groseries, exchange offices.

You can reach to bus station (named Kurtuluş Son Durak) in 3 minutes. There is a direct bus every 10 minutes to Taksim (the heart of the European Side of Istanbul) and Eminönü (the historical center). Also, there is subway station (named Osmanbey metro durağı), so you can reach anywhere you want. However, we suggest you to walk to Taksim, Mecidiyeköy, Nişantaşı. So you can enjoy the city on the way!
