The apartment is clean, spacious and modern. The location is fantastic - located on a beautiful square in downtown Porto, and a close walk to restaurants, nightlife and the activity along the Douro. Amenities are provided, such as toiletries, kitchen supplies, coffee and a great wi-fi connection. I would definitely recommend this apartment for a stay in Porto!
Jun 27, 2019Abel's apartment is amazing - beautiful, big and modern and bright. The view over the square is incredible, you really feel like Evita or something! The location is also great, an enjoyable walk through the heart of the city brings you to the river. When we stayed (early August) there were a couple of small problems that can be easily fixed when Abel has time - we couldn't get the TV and the washing machine to work, and the pictures were still waiting to be hung on the walls. I would definitely point out that the apartment is not air conditioned. This was a problem for us staying in summer, because the bedrooms, fronting onto the square, face west, and so get very hot. However, opening the windows makes the bedrooms very noisy and not easy to sleep in. I don't think this would be a problem for most of the year, but definitely in summer it made us wish that the apartment's heating was actually reverse cycle air conditioning! Overall, this is a great apartment, and if I was coming back to Porto I would stay there again - but not in summer.
Jun 27, 2019We stayed in Porto in the beautifull and very luxureous appartment of Abel. The location is perfect, in the citycentre, and the appartment is big and comfortable. We enjoyed Porto very much and had great diners twice on the square at O Cacula. On our way out we met Abel in person; he and his mother are very charming hosts!
Jun 27, 2019This apartment is the perfect place to stay in Porto. Its in a really great location, easily walkable to everywhere you want to go. Its situated right in the heart of the nightlife, so if you're looking to go out at night, you wont have to wander far. The apartment itself is very modern, clean and comfortable, its quite spacious, we were 4 people and had plenty of space. as a previous reviewer has noted, there isn't air con, so we slept with the windows open. There is quite a bit of street noise, particularly on weekends so thats something to be aware of. It didn't bother us too much though. Appreciated the use of the wifi as well! Overall a near perfect experience for us.

Jun 27, 2019We had a very pleaseant staying in Porto in Abel's house. The house was perfect, on a beautiful square in the centre of the city. It's close to all the facilities and full of equipments, with a very nice design. Greatly recommended.
Jun 27, 2019Great Location, Wonderful updated and spacious apartment, A bit noisy in the small hours of the morning - there is a nightclub district just north of the square, but quiet the rest of the time. Wonderful restaurants nearby. Easy walking to the main sites of Porto and nice views of the square out the bedroom windows. There is an underground parking lot directly in front of the building where you can leave your car for 33 euros/24 hours if you need to. Very convenient. Be sure you know how to operate both sets of keys and the elevator code to get in and out !!! The door key sticks a bit and there is a "trick" Abel is very responsive and his mother, who actually met us at the apartment, very helpful and gracious.
Jun 27, 2019Amazing place - very smart and well presented. A little noise dose come up from street level overnight, but almost all of the guests slept well (including the 5 month baby). Great location - easy access to roam around Porto. Abel, the host, was fantastic - always trying to help and he even managed to provide a baby bath and cot. thank you for the great place to stay.

El apartamento es muy amplio tiene todas las comodidades necesarias: habitaciones grandes con camas cómodas, cocina completa, televisión, conexión a internet. Moderno y muy bien montado, además de perfectamente situado para visitar la ciudad. ¡Completamente recomendable!
Jun 27, 2019Abel's apartment was amazing, spacious and located in a beautiful square a moments walk from everywhere. We were greeted by his lovely mum who came to give us keys and show us around. Abel was great, quick to respond with any questions we had such as where the nearest laundry was located etc. he also sent info with restaurant and attractions suggestions. We were also located a few minutes walk from Galerie de Paris street filled with many interesting night spots and a most incredible bookstore. I would highly recommend staying there and would definitely return.

Abel is easy going and reliable to communicate with and his mother gave us a friendly welcome on arrival. Located on a charming little square, and just steps away from some very nice restaurants, bars and shops. We were received by Abel's mom who gave us a quick tour of the place, while Abel provided us with some really useful informations about Porto. The communication went smoothly and quickly. I warmly recommend this place!

Jun 27, 2019What a great place to stay while in Porto! The location was absolutely perfect. We are a family of 4 adults and traveled from Madrid while on vacation. The apartmentwS easy to find and Abel was extremely communicative both before and during our.stay we were met at the apt by a friend of Abel's as he was out of town. It was perfect! We parked in parking under the street- a bit pricey but well worth it not to have to deal with a car in a central area. We were able to walk absolutely everywhere, even in the rain! The apartment itself was extremely roomy and comfortable. We truly could not ask for better or more! We are well travelled internationally and I cannot give this location/ host high enough praise!

Decoração moderna (estilo IKEA), localização super central, numa das praças mais emblemáticas do Porto, em pela baixa portuense. Dois quartos espaçosos com janelas, uma casa de banho moderna, wifi grátis, televisão. Excelente para dois casais. Recomendo vivamente, uma vez que tem uma ótima relação preço/qualidade, mais competitiva do que um hotel.

And the location was amazing -- 5-10 min walk to many sights, with a nice selection of cafes and restaurants right on the square outside the apartment. Space was clean, and Abel and his mom were extremely attentive hosts.
Jun 27, 2019Wir waren zu viert drei Tage lang in Abels Apartement und sind absolut begeistert: Tolle Lage in einem entspannten und ruhigen Viertel mit vielen Cafés, Bars und Restaurants um die Ecke. Sehr zentral gelegen! Die Wohnung ist super eingerichtet und sieht genau so aus wie auf den Bildern dargestellt. Alle Absprachen mit Abel waren sehr angenehm, unkompliziert und zuverlässig. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

We found the central location perfect for our 5 days in Porto- everything was close by (it's near some great restaurants and an excellent cafe and deli) and it also has good transport links to the airport and other places of interest. Abel was a great host and even provided a cot for our baby. We loved the apartment and I'd thoroughly recommend it!

Jun 27, 2019Our stay in Abel's apartment in Porto was as nice as it could be. We newer met him in person, but always felt his readiness to answer all and any questions and help with anything we needed. His mother met us in front of the building, showed us around and gave us some useful information. The location of the apartment overlooking a beautiful square is great: we walked everywhere (and we are grandparents, but maybe fit grandparents). There are a lot of cafes and restaurants in the area and a beautiful famous book store is very near by. The apartment itself is modern, large, very clean and has everything you need for a perfect stay in a beautiful city. The square gets busy on weekend nights: it is pretty common in Europe where people start going out for dinner at 9 PM. But it did not bother us, it was nice to watch young people enjoying themselves. We never felt unsafe or unwelcome there. Thank you, Abel, and all the best to you.

Jun 27, 2019The flat is awesome - just as the pictures show. The living room is v spacious, as is the bathroom. There is plenty of storage space, so enough room for everybody. V. good contact with the host - it was easy to arrange the keys pickup. The flat is in the centre of Porto, so I highly recommend to those who go there for sightseeing. The only thing that could be improved are the frames of the single beds, the mattress holders are not very stable and my friend fell down when she sat on the bed for the first time, later we were careful and no further accidents occured :)

The apartment is very clean, bright, secure and spacious. Highly recommended. We're already impatient to go back to Porto and rent the same apartment!
Jun 27, 2019We (family of 2 adults, 2 kids) stayed here 6 nights in June. The apartment is really modern and everything looks brand new, including Bosch appliances and a very nice bathroom. It sits on a small square and is adjacent to a street that is closed to cars and has a lot of shops. Abel was really easy to work with -- very responsive and accommodating, including providing a crib for our youngest. We really enjoyed Porto itself and the apartment's location was ideal for allowing us to experience the best of the city, while still being quiet. We left the apartment by foot each day, walking mainly downhill towards the river, and occasionally caught a taxi home (uphill). The location is well known so we had no trouble explaining its location to drivers. We had deliberately timed our visit to coincide with Festa de São João do Porto which is the biggest party of the year. After midnight fireworks by the river we made our way home and then were "serenaded" at 2am by about 50 drummers in the square outside our window. It was simply awesome and was the perfect end to the day! Overall, a great stay in every way! Pro tip: if you head out the back gate of the building, you'll find another small square and the Leitaria da Quinta do Paço, a fantastic bakery/cafe. Check it out!

Jun 27, 2019Super sleek and modern apartment in a fantastic neighbourhood in Porto! Abel was a wonderful host. He was flexible with our check-in and check-out times and even offered a place to store our bags if we were leaving later. Upon arrival, he gave us a quick tour of the apartment and then offered lots of tips for restaurants and things to see/do. There were a few maps that we could use which were a nice touch. He also sent an email with a nice outline of more "must sees" and good information on Porto. I highly recommend this place!

Jun 27, 2019From the start we had perfect communication with Abel. He responded very quickly and accurate. The apartment was as pictured. Very modern, eveything in perfect condition and very well situated in a very lively square. Bakeries around the corner, bars and restaurants all at very close walking distance. The supermarket Pingo Doce was a 10 min walk. Abel helped us ordering a taxi on a sunday morning when we had to go to a place that didn't connect very well to the Metro. 1 mail was enough for him to organize it. We were very pleased and I would recommend without hesitation.

Jun 27, 2019Bien que n'ayant pas rencontré Abel personnellement, tout c'est bien passé pour notre séjour. Abel est resté très disponible pour nous donner des informations et répondre au plus vite à nos questions. L'appartement est magnifique, idéal pour une famille comme la notre composée de 2 grands ado et de leurs parents ( peut-être moins bien avec de petites enfants, en août, il y a du bruit sur la place ou se trouve l'appartement) . Nos jeunes ont pu partir en exploration seuls. Le quartier est formidable. A deux pas, du centre, nous avons tout visiter à pied. Samedi soir, des jeunes dansaient le ...foxtrot au son de music ragtime sur la place sous nos fenêtres!... Magique!
Jun 27, 2019We had a very great time at Abel's place. We had plenty of room with our two boys (teenagers) and we felt like at home. The apartment is clear, very comfortable and fully equipped. Everything is clean, modern and well kept. The apartment location is also great to visit Porto. Bakeries, restaurants, bars, places to be visited are all located at a very close walking distance. The apartment is calm even though a bit noisy in the early hours of the night. It didn't really bother us much but people who are light sleepers might want to know it. Abel is a very attentive and easy going host. He is very kind and always available. The communication with him was easy and quick through emails. He gave us information about what we could do during our five days in Porto, and was always ready to help us when needed. We didn't meet him in person but we met his mom who is very friendly too. We really enjoyed our stay in Porto. If we go back to this town, we'll go there again and we will recommend this place to our friends.

Посоветовал, как лучше провести 2 дня в его городе: места, рестораны. Очень рекомендую. Все лучше, чем я ожидала. Буду рекомендовал друзьям.
Jun 27, 2019We enjoyed very much staying at Abel´s apartment. We were 4 adults and 2 babies. The apartment has plenty of space, in fact our first impression was that it felt bigger than in the pictures. High standards everywhere and very clean. The location is perfect. All the main tourist areas are within walking distance. We brought a car with us but still you have several parking possibilities in the neighborhood. There is one parking place right at the door although it is a bit expensive. Abel has been a great host since the beginning, answering all our questions very fast. He even left some city maps and a small guide with recommendations for restaurants. We recommend it to everybody!!!
Jun 27, 2019Tolle moderne Wohnung in einer super Lage. Man läuft ein paar Meter um die Ecke und ist schon mitten in der Stadt. Bäcker, Supermarkt etc. sind auch nicht weit. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!

Jun 27, 2019The host wasn't there and so a friend of his checked us in. he didn't speak english or spanish but we were able to communicate well enough. the apartment speaks for itself and is PHENOMENAL. There is a night scene around and college kids were going wild with crazy team games that involved some hooting and hollering. there was a bit of street noise as a result. it did not bother me in the least. i like to see action and people having fun and they were in good spirits. i loved the town and i loved the spot. highly recommended.

Jun 27, 2019If you want to go to Porto, there is no better place to stay than with at Abel's apartment. First of all, the location is beyond perfect and there is a gate and codes for the elevator that make you feel very safe. It is walking distance to shops and a cafe right downstairs, and more importantly for me and my budget college friends, we found a grocery store only a few minutes walk away. The apartment itself is beautiful. It is JUST as beautiful as it is in the photos and much larger than you think. The floor plan is very well laid out to have space for our group of 4 to hang out or be able to make phone calls privately in our rooms. I could not ask more of Abel during the trip, he was very helpful and responded very quickly to any of my questions.
Jun 27, 2019Abel's apartment is the perfect location to explore Porto. It's pretty well located in close proximity to all the major sights and also walkable to the river. There are numerous bars and restaurants around (ok, the flip side is that it's a bit noisy at weekend evenings). The apartment is very modern, very clean and spacious - as shown in the photos. We did not meet Abel himself, however, he helped to organize a very flexible hand-over of the keys upon arrival and departure with his local contact. All in all, Abel helped us to have a fantastic weekend in Porto.

It is very conveniently located in walking distance to all the main sites. My family of four, including children ages 7 and 14, found it the ideal place and we felt like at home. O apto é grande, cozinha novissima e bem equipada, bem mobiliado, ótimo banheiro, tudo funciona perfeitamente. É confortável e acolhedor, nos sentimos em casa desde o primeiro momento. A localização tambem é ótima, muito próximo a torre dos clérigos e livraria Lelo, numa area muito tranquila e com restaurantes e comercio próximos. Se voltar a Porto será com certeza minha primeira opção ficar nesse apto novamente. Muito obrigado Abel.

Jun 27, 2019El apartamento estaba situado en una plaza muy céntrica, cerca de comercios, restaurantes, supermercados e incluso una farmacia.Muy bien comunicado. El apartamento mucho mejor que en las fotos, muy grande y bien decorado. Equipado con todo lo necesario para cocinar, tanto en electrodomésticos como en menaje de cocina. Calefacción en todas las habitaciones, a pesar de ser un apartamento tan grande no hacia frio. La comunicacion con nuestro anfitrión Abel perfecta, cualquier duda era resuelta inmediatamente por email, además de aconsejarnos sobre lugares de interés para visitar. En resumen, un apartamento fantástico, ha hecho que nuestra estancia en Oporto sea inolvidable, recomendable a todo el mundo.

Il est dans le centre, et nous avons pu faire toutes nos visites à pied. Abel était très sympathique, et a pris le soin de nous envoyer des conseils de visites. Seul bémol, l'appartement peut être un peu bruyant les soirs du week-end.

A localização também é excelente e possibilita conhecer diversos pontos turísticos caminhando ou fazendo uso do metrô. Quanto ao anfitrião só posso ter elogios, uma vez que sempre foi rápido nas respostas e prestou informações úteis em nossas conversas, vale dizer que por um erro meu e reforço que a responsabilidade deste erro foi minha! Acabei por esquecer a chave dentro do apartamento ao contatar o Abel (anfitrião) ele me ajudou a solucionar o caso com muita presteza e agilidade, realmente foi super atencioso!

Jun 27, 2019My husband and I spent 6 weeks in Porto this spring. We loved staying in Abel's apartment. The location could not be better. The apartment is within walking distance to the metro, the train station, bus terminal, the river, awesome restaurants & bars, and if you feel like it, you can leisurely walk 75 minutes to the ocean. Abel and his Mom are super friendly people. Everything promised to us before the trip (office chair, weekly cleaning) was taken care of, and when we needed an iron, Abel’s mom bought one and had it at the apartment the next morning. We loved our visit to Porto. There are restaurants with good food and friendly service almost everywhere, but we especially loved the ones right behind the apartment, like Moonshine, Trinkas and Oporto!!

Abel war ein hervorragender Guide, für den Tipp francesinhas im Cufra zu Essen sind wir ihm besonders dankbar. Ein Erlebnis für sich :)

La atención de Abel fue en todo momento muy atenta y rápida, así como Riu, que fue el que nos mostró la casa. En ella tienes todo lo necesario para pasar unos dias. Nos hemos sentido muy cómodos en ella.y lo mejor es que te puedes desplazar a pies desde allí. Lo único que cambiaría serían las dos camas gemelas de la habitación doble, ya que el colchón es muy fino y se notan las tablas del somier porque las camas son para niños no para adultos. Volvería sin dudarlo ;)

The place is really lovely, clean, it has all the confort you need for a perfect vacation and it's located in one of the most amazing spots in Porto, nearby all the facilities you might need in your vacation. Spent enough time in Porto to get to know the city's different areas, and I wouldn't have picked a different location to stay. Extremely close to pockets of good food & drink (Galeria de Paris and R. Candido dos Reis) with only a short distance to more touristy areas (Duoro, etc.). Highly recommend Abel's flat.

Jun 27, 2019Abel's place speaks for itself, this is an incredible apartment. It is very well designed and spacious. The building is situated in a very charming plaza with restaurants, bakery and local shops. The location is perfect, 10 minutes to the river on foot. Check-in process is flawless. Communication was made well in advance to coordinate meeting time in front of building. Almost everything you need is provided for in the apartment. I was travelling with my two kids and found that the bar up the street did attract some noisy types from 2 to 4 am. Having said that, if I was travelling sans kids I'd surely be hanging out in the bar - it looked like a fun spot. Anyhow, i'd recommend Abel's place to anyone looking for 5 star accommodations at a 3 star price.

Jun 27, 2019Superbe séjour dans l'appartement d'Abel situé en plein centre de la ville. L'appartement est tous ce que nous attendions, moderne, grand, super bien situé, cosy et propre! Il se situe dans un quartier vivant et à deux minutes à pieds des deux principales rues très appréciées des nuits de Porto! Un peu bruyant la nuit mais on peu pas tout avoir;-) Vous pourrez prendre votre petit déjeuner au café juste en bas de l'immeuble avant de commencer vos visites à pied! L'arrêt de métro Trindade se trouve qu'à 10min a pied et vous permet de rejoindre l'aéroport très facilement au pire si vous avez des grosses valises vous prenez un taxi jusqu'à Trindade (5min) et c'est réglé!

Abel n'était pas là et malheureusement, Rose qui le remplaçait n'a pas eu beaucoup de temps à nous consacrer à notre entrée. Le gros électroménager était présent et de bonne qualité. Nous avons eu 24h de perte totale de réseau et n'avons jamais su pourquoi. Mais l'appartement est vraiment beau et assez grand pour que 4 personnes y cohabitent sans se sentir à l'étroit. Isabelle

Jun 27, 2019Abel was very easy to deal with and although he wasn't there for the check-in, the person in charge made it very easy for us to get in the apartment and the keys. The place is amazingly well located. We literally walked everywhere we wanted and had some good restaurants and bars nearby. The apartment is very spacious, modern but a lot of cheap items were used to furnish it. The beds were ok, but the pillows very uncomfortable, the kitchen is complete but again a few details made it for us not a perfect stay. Wifi was good. Washing machine too. Bathroom amazing, although the door did not lock. Extremely safe building. Overall great stay! Thanks Abel

Jun 27, 2019Abel's flat is modern, clean, safe, and very well located in the middle of everything (famous Lello bookstore <10 min; Majestic cafe 12 min, Ribeira 20 min), with paid parking closeby (if a bit expensive). His colleague Rose met us, and they were flexible with our arrival and departure times (thanks!). They were responsive and easy to communicate with before and during our stay. The flat was easy to find, easy to access, secure and had plenty of space for our family of 3 (1 bedroom with a double bed, the other with 2 single beds). Lots of food and drink options immediately outside (and the soundproof windows are a nice feature given the popularity of that neighbourhood at night). We highly recommend the restaurant right next door, Andor Violeta, for innovative and tasty food at a good price. Thanks Abel and Rose!

The apartment is very spacious, clean and has everything you need for a nice holiday. The location of the apartment is excellent as well, close to many bars and restaurants, and easy to reach with public transport from the airport.

Jun 27, 2019Great stay at Abel's apartment - fab location over looking a lovely square, only around the corner from "Lion's Square" and the beautiful Livaria Lello book shop. The apartment is modern and amazingly spacious, bright and airy - looks just like it did in the photos! We spent lots of time at the window just watching the Porto life go by! Abel and Rose were really helpful both before and during check in. Rose helped us solve our baggage problem on the day of check in as we arrived first thing in the morning and so she advised us that there were lockers at Trindad station. Happily the apartment was available earlier than expected and Abel was on hand to check us in - he was super friendly with great recommendations on places to see and eat. There were also some great spots to eat right near the flat: Andor Violeta immediately next door and the gorgeous Camafeu a couple of doors up. We had only a couple of complaints: (i) the nighttime noise on the square - as others have mentioned it can get loud, especially at weekends and there were a couple of nights we either could not get to sleep or found ourselves woken up due to the loud football fan-style singing; and (ii) the beds were a little uncomfortable - especially the single beds. That notwithstanding, I would not hesitate on recommending this apartment and would definitely book again! Die schriftliche und telefonische Kommunikation mit Abel/Rose war stets schnell und freundlich. Die Wohnung entspricht die Fotos. Sie ist geräumig, schlicht und sauber. Die Nachbarschaft ist lebendig mit Restaurants und Läden. Die Wohnung ist für viele Attraktionen Portos sehr zentral gelegen.

Het appartement ligt op loopafstand van bezienswaardigheden en winkels, een ideale locatie voor een weekeinde Porto. We hadden problemen met de douche en Mr Rui probeerde ons daar zo goed mogelijk mee te helpen. We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad.

Hosts were really accommodating regarding our late night (and delayed) arrival. Es muy amplio, limpio y con todo lo necesario para disfrutar de una agradable estancia. No tuvimos el placer de conocer personalmente a Rose y Abel pero Rose estuvo muy pendiente por teléfono y siempre que lo necesitamos estaba ahí para atendernos. El único "problemita" que tuvimos, por llamarle de alguna manera, fue con la puerta del apartamento porque tiene truco para abrirla. En resumen, apartamento muy recomendable.

We were very convenient to many sites we visited regularly, and there were plenty of restaurants and coffee shops in the area. Rose met us upon our arrival, and made us feel very welcome. We felt very safe and the property was very secure. We had a beatiful view outside our window. The apartment was modern, nicely decorated and had all the amenities that we needed.

Bad point for me was the apartment organization : bedrooms windows are facing the main square outside. it is noisy in weekend nights. On the contrary, living room is on the backside of the building and you keep curtains on windows : light and view are missing from my point of view. Last, welcome was nice and on time.
Jun 27, 2019El apartamento esta perfectamente situado en una céntrica y preciosa plaza. Muy cerca de la casa hay infinidad de restaurantes y cafeterías. El apartamento es muy moderno, muy amplio, decorado con muy buen gusto y perfectamente equipado. Los muebles son cómodos (sofás, camas) y la limpieza es absoluta. Un lugar perfecto para conocer la sorprendente ciudad de Oporto y disfrutar de sus rincones y de su estupenda (y baratísima) oferta gastronómica. Como puntos negativos, el hecho de no poder entrar al apartamento hasta las 15h y tener que abandonarlo a las 12h. (afortunadamente, en la cercana estación de Trindade hay servicio de consigna). Al llegar, la información no fue del todo completa por lo que tuvimos que llamar dos veces, para que nos dijeran como funcionaban la televisión y la calefacción. La cafetera no funcionaba. A pesar de estos pequeños detalles, el apartamento es muy recomendable y sin duda repetiremos en futuras visitas a Oport (Website hidden by Airbnb)

Lo único, del parking, es que si no llegas a un acuerdo el día que llegas, cobran 32 euros al día. Nosotros tuvimos que negociarlo el día que nos íbamos, y nos lo acabaron dejando en 15
Jun 27, 2019Passamos este ano o réveillon em Porto. Foram 5 dias muito bem hospedados no apartamento do Abel. O apartamento é bastante confortável e muito central, perto de supermercado, bares e restaurante e muito próximo do centro e dos principais pontos turísticos, isso facilitou muito a nossa locomocão. Conhecemos Porto andando muito. Infelizmente o Abel não pode nos receber mas tinha designado alguém muito simpático para nós receber. Este senhor nos explicou todo o funcionamento da casa e nos deu dicas de passeios e restaurantes. Abel é um maravilhoso anfitrião. Muito gentil e querido sempre respondendo prontamente os meus emails. Muito obrigada Abel por compartilhar sua casa conosco. Eu, meu Marido e filhos nos sentimos em casa. Espero poder retornar a Porto e com certeza ficaremos hospedados novamente neste apartamento. E quem sabe desta vez possamos conhecer a Rosé e o Abel.

Estamos perto de tudo: desde dos pontos principais da cidade, como de bons restaurantes e junto aos bares noturnos - Dada a boa isolação da casa a vida noturna em nada ouve-se dentro de casa. O Abel recebeu-nos muito bem, muito afável e pronto a fornecer-nos dicas da cidade. O anúncio da casa foi ao encontro da nossa experiência.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment was really nice. It has a small private courtyard and an elevator. It's a great space with an open kitchen. It is a pitty that the living room is not at the back of the house cause that is where the vieuw of the square is. We could not get the heat to work but that was okay. We had a great local diner just around the corner. The supermarket is at the end of the street. The location is great! The neighbourhood is so nice. We parked our rental car at a nearby parking and then it was just a short walk. Ana was there to welcome us and gave us map of the city and showed us some places the recommended. We have a really nice stay. Thank you!

Jun 27, 2019El viaje ha sido perfecto! La casa tal cuan en las fotos, grande, espaciosa y limpia! La localización inmejorable en pleno centro y a pocos minutos andando de un supermercado. Además en apenas 15 minutos estabas en la ribeira donde habían muchos bares con vistas al Duero y al puente de Luis I. A pesar de no tener parking, justo en la entrada del piso hay uno privado que si regateas un poco al señor que hay te puede salir bastante bien, a nosotros nos salió por 15€ el día. Darle las gracias a Abel & Rose por su amabilidad durante todo la estancia!

Jun 27, 2019La experiencia ha sido muy buena. La casa está en plena zona céntrica por lo que no tuvimos ningún problema en desplazarnos. El piso es muy amplio y luminoso y las camas son muy cómodas. A la llegada nos recibieron muy amablemente y nos mostraron qué lugares ver y eso se agradece mucho. Viajaba con gente que siempre se había alojado en hotel y seguro que vuelven a repetir!

Jun 27, 2019Ons verblijf in Porto was superfijn. Het appartement van Abel en Rose is ruim, proper en praktisch ingericht. We werden goed ontvangen door Rose; zij gaf ons bruikbare tips voor ons verblijf in Porto. Het appartement ligt in een toffe, zeer centraal gelegen studentenbuurt. De sfeer is er tof. Onze drie dagen waren goed gevuld met interessante uitstappen, allemaal op wandelafstand, en lekker eten en drinken dat in Porto een pak voordeliger is dan bij ons in België. Kortom een ideale citytrip. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Bakker aan de overkant van de straat en supermarkt op 5 minuten lopen. Kortom en prima uitvalsbasis voor een heerlijk verblijf in Porto.

The check in was smooth: Rose (who helps Abel out) was very accommodating when we arrived earlier than planned and she was sure to show us everything we needed and give some restaurant recommendations. The apartment is large, comfortable and spacious, and in a fantastic location - possible to walk everywhere we wanted to go and in a cool area with great shops/cafes/restaurants. It was incredibly clean.
Jun 27, 2019Abel and Rose, who are in charge of the flat, were very approachable and reliable. Communication with them both before and during the stay was hassle-free, and the check-in process went smoothly. The flat itself, which looked like a place specially furnished for tourist accommodation, is in an excellent location, at a small square very close to the centre of town and not too far from public transport (several hundred metres from metro line E, which links the centre with the airport, via Trindade station). It is quite spacious and fitted out in a modern style, with all requisite amenities. I particularly appreciated the fast internet connection. The water flow in the shower was also excellent (which is not always the case even in some posh hotels). All in all, a good place to stay if you need two separate bedrooms and a living room.

Jun 27, 2019Abel was a really good host, and was able to accommodate our really late arrival! He communicated really well-from pre-booking to the actual stay and gave us really good recommendations for restaurants. The flat was really clean and exactly as described. It was very spacious for 4 people. The location was also perfect, everything was within 15 mins walk. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants right outside. I would definitely recommend the apartment, and would stay again if I was back on Porto.

Jun 27, 2019Abel's apartment is spacious, modern, and very centrally located. It was exactly as described on the web. Thereis an underground carpark just in front which operates 24 hours and it of a modern design with comfortable access ramps. Abel was on time for the checkin and together with his friend were most helpful with guiding me to a temporary unloading area for my luggage. We enjoyed our stay very much. Tips for the next user: must close the windows facing the square very tight, as it can get very noisy even past midnight when people passing talked loudly without any awareness of making too much noise. Suggestion for Abel: the apartment is well equipped overall but a kettle for making tea or hot water would be useful.

The location of this place is fantastic. It really is walking distance from nearly everything you'd want to see (and at the very least, close to transportation that can get you there). Jun 27, 2019This apartment is in an absolute dream location - within easy walking distance of Porto's most beautiful sights and best bars. It was our first visit to the city and we completely fell in love with it. Rose was a great help to us when we arrived, coming to find us when we got hopelessly lost and giving us lots of tips for things to do in the area. The beds were comfy, apartment bright and airy, and the open plan living space was great for our sociable little group. We really couldn't fault our stay!

Jun 27, 2019Le logement correspond tout à fait à la description de l'annonce. Il est très agréable. Difficile d'être mieux situé dans Porto. Tous les sites peuvent être visités à pied sans problème. Le quartier est super et on y trouve de nombreux restaus et bars très sympas. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil d'Abel, les renseignements qu'il nous a fourni à notre arrivée et le service rendu pour le stationnement.

Jun 27, 2019The apartment is extremely spacious and comfortable...and very clean. Plenty of closet space if you plan to stay a while. The bathroom is sleek, modern and large. We loved the fact that the building is located in a piazza or square. I had been to Porto before and knew the location. It's perfect! There are several restaurants and cafes in and around the square. And in the evening you can walk just a few blocks to the bars and nightclubs. The major sites are within walking distance. A big plus about the apartment is that there's an elevator in the building. If you have a lot of luggage, it's perfect. Fatima was so sweet and hospitable. She was available to answer questions and help whenever we needed it. If we are ever back in Porto again, we'll book here. Loved it!

Jun 27, 2019This is a lovely, bright, clean and comfortable flat in an excellent location. There are plenty of places to eat and to drink nearby, the flat overlooks a square where people congregate and hold activities. The location is near many of the places visitors and locals visit, especially the ones away from the major rip-off tourist haunts. It is also well served by public transport. We were contacted by Fatima who was charming and helpful. We definitely recommend this flat to others.
Jun 27, 2019Mooi appartement op een prachtige plek in Porto. Veel op loopafstand, en in de directe omgeving restaurantjes en mooie bezienswaardigheden. tramhalte dichtbij. Wij waren met mijn wat oudere ouders en daarvoor was de lift ideaal. Inrichting van het appartement ook goed. mooie badkamer, keuken en lekkere banken om te relaxen. Ook nog lekker buiten op de galerij van het gebouw gezeten. Wij hadden wel last van het geluid buiten, m.n. omdat het studenten introductieweek was. De twee eenpersoonsbedden waren wat onconfortabel vanwege de dunnen matrassen. En we misten een koffiezetapparaat. In de winkelstraat nog maar even een filter gekocht. De keuken was zowiezo wat matig geoutilleerd.

Amélioration possible de la literie mais non derangeant pour un court séjour. Notre hôte à été fort sympathique et disponible pour nous indiquer des sites importants à visiter durant notre week end portugais. Elle nous a également prêté sa carte de parking nous évitant une note exorbitante.

Goede communicatie vooraf met Fatima en Abel heeft bij aankomst tips gegeven voor leuke restaurantjes. Hele vriendelijke host. Alles op loopafstand. Wij waren met 4 vrienden, echt een aanrader! Dichtbij het uitgaangsgebied Tijdens het verblijf mailde Fatima nog om ons een goede reis naar huis te wensen, heel attent. Porto is een hele leuke stad. .

Purtroppo abbiamo perso molto tempo a raggiungerla causa manifestazione, c'era una grande festa degli studenti e le strade erano bloccate. A Porto se si e' in centro la macchina veramente non serve, rappresenta un costo inutile. La casa e' moderna e confortevole con due ampie camere un bellissimo open space. Consigliatissima!

Jun 27, 2019Lovely large apartment and a great location to the main sites in Porto. Abel and Fatima were very accommodating including booking us a taxi for return journey. There is a bar below the apartment which was a bit noisy on the weekend but otherwise a fab place for our short weekend break.

Muy buen Wifi y buena calefacción, además los dueños genial, buena comunicación. La ubicación es ideal, en pleno centro, a un paso de todo. Cuando vuelva a Oporto repetiré seguro. Hay justo debajo un parking, si se hace la reserva por internet sale a 15 euros diarios.

Jun 27, 2019Excelente apartamento, muito bem montado, banho delicioso, roupa de cama muito boa, com calefação (detalhe importante no inverno, na outra casa alugada pelo nosso grupo tinha aquecedores portáteis, mas a infra elétrica não aguentou quando ligaram, então tem mas não dá para usar). A localização é muito boa. É central mas sem o burburinho das áreas mais congestionadas. Facílimo se deslocar para todos os pontos do Centro Histórico. O estacionamento ao lado é super caro, mas é possível deixar o carro na Estação São Bento, que é muito mais barato. Acredite, em Porto o carro é desnecessário. Dá para andar ou se locomover com as diferentes opções que a cidade oferece!

The apartment is clean and very comfortable and the location is perfectly suitable to appreciate the center of the town and to reach the Douro's riverside which is adorable ! Jun 27, 2019El piso es genial, tal y como se ve en las fotos. Muy amplio y muy limpio. Está situado en pleno centro de la ciudad, se llega a todos los sitios andando. Si hubiera que poner alguna pega es que las camas son de las finitas, aunque son cómodas. Estuvimos muy bien en el piso y si volvemos alguna vez repetiríamos seguro.

Jun 27, 2019Fantastic location perfect for all the sights. Wonderful apartment. Public transport in porto is great. really friendly people. Only half hour for the airport with the metro so need for a car or taxi. The apartment is in the night life area or Porto and is very noisy at night if you want to go out partying this is great but the noise goes on until 6am. This did not bother us but did our friends who came with us.
Jun 27, 2019Rose nous a parfaitement accueilli nous et nos enfants et aussi attendu malgré le retard de notre vol . A notre arrivée elle nous à présenter le logement qui est conforme aux photos . Logement très spacieux où l'on se sent en sécurité ( Accès sécurisé ) ; proche de toute commodités .. Il faut noter que Porto est une ville où la majorité des choses à faire est accessible à pied .. Nous avons adorer notre séjour chez Rose et Abdel et ne manquerons pas de revenir
Jun 27, 2019Definitely recommend a stay here if visiting Porto! The flat is in an excellent location, easy to get everywhere on foot. It's clean and tidy, with everything you'd need including towels etc. The kitchen is great with all that you'd need including fridge, cooker, coffee machine etc Beds are comfortable with plenty of storage, and good blinds to allow lie-ins even with the sun shining outside. If you're a light sleeper it can get a little noisy at times but if you follow the Portuguese weekend sleep pattern and have a mid afternoon/early evening nap, party til 4am then sleep a little later in the morning you're fine I'd recommend getting a map from the tourist office as they have more detail and we managed to see most things on foot on one day then did the amazing Porto bridge climb and people watching sat in cafes on the Sunday. It's a great weekend city as you can feel like you've seen a lot and still feel relaxed but also if you had more time there's plenty to do including the Port houses, trip to the beach, ride on the river, art galleries, museums etc etc. Again I'd definitely recommend staying here and visiting Porto!

Jun 27, 2019Meine Mutter und ich verbrachten 3 Nächte in Abel's Wohnung. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, sehr geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet was man brauch. Rose war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Am Wochenende ist es nachts auf dem Praca Alberto etwas lauter, aber noch vertretbar. Alles im allem kann ich die Wohnung wärmstens empfehlen. Wir werden sicherlich wieder Abels Wohnung buchen, wenn wir nochmal in Porto sind. Danke Rose!

Jun 27, 2019Das Appartment war für unseren Aufenthalt perfekt. Es ist vollständig eingerichtet und sehr schön. Es liegt an einem schönen zentralen Platz, von dem man sehr gut die Stadt erkunden kann. Abel und Rose waren sehr gute Gastgeber. Sie haben uns einen sehr späten Check-In ermöglicht und alles hat ohne Probleme geklappt. Danke dafür. Wir empfehlen das Appartment sehr für einen Besuch in Porto weiter.

Jun 27, 2019Nous n'avons pas rencontré l'hôte personnellement, mais avons communiqué par SMS auparavant et avons été accueillies par quelqu'un pour nous dîner tous les renseignements. L'appartement est parfait, tout à fait conforme aux photos . Il est très spacieux , moderne , très bien équipé ( four , micro ondes , lave linge ... que nous n'avons pas utilisé ! cafetière .. ), très agréable mais surtout IDEALEMENT bien placé. Proche de rues commerçantes, de belles boutiques , des lieux de visite, du tram, de parcs , des restaux et des bars .... Peut être un peu trop proche des bars !! Seul bémol , la place sur laquelle donne les chambres est plutôt bruyante le soir .( chambre parentale surtout pas très bien isolée ) A part cela tout était parfait et je recommande cet appart.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment is located in the very center of Porto. You will find a plenty of nice restaurants, bars, nightclubs ... just around the corner. The closest bigger supermarket is not more then 10 minutes by foot. The apartment itself is very modern, spacious, nicely equipped and clean. The beds are good. The landlords are very nice and they will help you with whatever question and answer quickly. It's maybe not the cheapest apartment in Porto but in my opinion is was worth the price! You will get a top location and a really luxurious equipment (for an Airbnb). All in all maybe the best Airbnb I ever saw :) The only disadvantage I can report is that it was sometimes quite noisy in front of the bedrooms during the weekend-nights. The fact that the apartment is not far from restaurants, bars and nightlife shows some kind of impact here.
Jun 27, 2019Abel's place is located in easy walking distance to many places in the city. It is a lovely apartment with elevator access. It is located in a lively location with bedrooms facing the street, so for guests wishing a quiet night, this might be a consideration. One bedroom has children-sized twin beds with wooden slats, so if guests are two couples this might also be a consideration. Abel's co-host Rose was wonderful and very helpful.
Jun 27, 2019Very nice flat. Modern interior, nothing personal if you expect a flat where real people from Porto live in. We did not use the tv, kitchen and things like that. The kitchen is fully equipped. Bedroom windows are to the plaza which could be noisy in the mornings even with closed windows(they start cleaning the streets outside at about 8h in the morning). There are many apartments in the same building rented to airbnb. Very secure area and the house is locked with several doors and access codes. Check out was easy as we could leave the keys inside the flat and go away. :) We were not allowed to leave our luggage in the flat longer than 12:00. :( Porto is a very nice city and the apartment is located perfectly that you can go everywhere by feet in 10-20min and it is not in a main tourist area. Many locals are around the flat.

L'appartamento è molto funzionale e attrezzato e la pulizia eccellente. Indirizzo assolutamente consigliabile.
Jun 27, 2019Apartamento muito bom, acomoda confortavelmente 4 pessoas. Prédio dispõe de elevador. Única desvantagem é que possui apenas um banheiro, o que é pouco para quatro pessoas, atrapalhando um pouco a "velocidade" da viagem. Tudo estava limpo e organizado. Recomendo!

Jun 27, 2019The location of the apartment is absolutely perfect. There are many main attractions around as well as great restaurants and bakeries. If you are a light sleeper make sure to bring earplugs because the windows are not sound-proof and there are teenagers playing outside til 3am. All the main amenities are there, wi-fi, TV, kitchenware, coffee. My only other complaint would be to fix the above shower-head as the pressure is low and more cleanliness in the bathtub. Otherwise clean and cute apartment.

Quando lá estivemos a duche estava baixa e muito próxima a ponta da banheira, o que nos fez agachar um pouco no banho. O colchão de casal era muito confortável porém os de solteiro um pouco finos, a decoração era sofisticada mas algumas lâmpadas estavam queimadas. Obrigado pelas 3 cápsulas de café que não esperávamos :D

Jun 27, 2019Appreciated Rose and Abel's help for check in even though it was close to midnight. They were friendly and welcoming. Home was clean and neat. It is easily accessible and within walking distances to quite a few attractions such as the Sao Bento train station, Clerigos tower, etc. There were many books on the bookshelf too, including a few English books, good for readers out there!

It was also clean and spacious for our group of four. Rose was communicative and kindly accommodated our late arrival from the airport. I would gladly stay here again for future visits to Porto.

You won't find a better location than this, it is close to everything, a 15 min walk to Douro river which is a must see! and a short taxi ride to beautiful museums, cathedrals, the beach! the area is lively and scenic and i can't recommend it enough. The apartment is luxurious, spacious, clean and modern - with amazing views on to the square. We will definitely be coming back! Porto is beautiful. Thank you!

Jun 27, 2019El piso es una maravilla, y la zona está genial. Puedes visitar todo Oporto desde allí. Rose nos atendió muy bien y nos ayudó a encontrar los lugares más destacados para visitar. Por poner alguna pega, La Cocina no estaba demasiado limpia, ya que había pañuelos de papel usados en los cajones, y el lavavajillas tenía cubiertos y vasos sucios sin lavar. Por lo demás todo Ok.

Entièrement rénové, l'appartement est dans un building très sécuritaire. Vaste et épuré, il reçoit très confortablement quatre personnes. À savoir: il n'y a pas de AC, mais des ventilateurs sont présents dans les deux chambres. Une très belle expérience!

Quand nous y étions le lave linge ne fonctionnait pas.. la salle de bain est superbe! Le seul bémol est le confort des deux lits simples dans la deuxième chambre... et le bruit jusqu'au petites heures de la place publique en face. Mais le confort de l'appartement est très très bien; l'accueil et les informations étaient super! Merci Abel

Jun 27, 2019Logement très bien placé mais mal insonorisé alors qu' il donne sur une place festive. Lits individuels de mauvaise qualité. Le check in est à 15h check out a 12h. Nous avions demandé pour pouvoir seulement déposer nos bagages un peu plus tôt. Impossible, soit. Mais le logement n était pas prêt à 15h, nous sommes arrivés en même temps que les femmes de ménage..... Nous comprenons qu' un problème puisse arriver. En revanche nous aurions apprécié pouvoir laisser nos bagages quelques heures de plus après le check out prévu à midi. Mais la encore nous nous sommes vus opposés une fin de non recevoir...Bref accueil impersonnel.

Harry Porter book store was very close and a cool place to see. Loud at night but is manageable if you bring earplugs. Definitely would recommend staying here.

Jun 27, 2019Rose hat uns im Vorfeld alle Fragen sehr schnell beantwortet und dafür gesorgt, dass wir reibungslos vom Flughafen zur Wohnung gefunden haben. Rose hat uns außerdem gute Tips für Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants gegeben. Die Wohnung war sehr schön und modern eingerichtet und vor allem richtig groß! Es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Lage war außerdem super, sehr zentral, sodass wir die Stadt problemlos zu Fuß erkunden konnten. Bars, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren reichlich in der Umgebung vorhanden und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind auch direkt in der Nähe. Durch die zentrale Lage an einem Platz mitten in der Stadt war es nachts oft etwas lauter, aber mit Oropax war die Nachtruhe trotzdem gesichert. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen!

Jun 27, 2019This apartment surpassed my expectations! The space's layout is phenomenal, and it is perfectly decorated. The apartment complex was very well situated within the city, and the security systems in place to get into the complex and elevator made me feel super secure. The location is perfect to be within walking distance from downtown and the tourist sites, and there's a supermarket within a 10-15min stroll. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone interested, and I hope to stay again on a future visit to Porto!

Jun 27, 2019Fomos informados no momento do check in que tanto a máquina de lavar louça quanto a máquina de lavar roupas estavam com problemas e, por tanto não deveríamos usar. Não faria muito diferença para nós, portanto não nos incomodamos a princípio. Os colchões das camas do quarto com duas camas são péssimos. É possível sentir a madeira do estrado nas costas. Precisei colocar os dois colchões, um em cima do outro, para ficar confortável. Quando comentei com a host, sugerindo mesmo que fossem trocados para o conforto dos hóspedes, a mesma respondeu que sentia muito se não eram do meu agrado. Não é questão de agrado, é questão de que são realmente antigos, finos e provavelmente de baixa qualidade, extremamente desconfortáveis. Desde o momento da reserva deixamos claro que seríamos três hóspedes, como deve ser feito quando se reserva qualquer acomodação. Ao chegar, só tínhamos toalhas disponíveis para duas pessoas. Ou seja, duas toalhas de banho e duas de rosto. A terceira pessoa a tomar banho teve que escolher entre usar uma toalha molhada ou uma toalha de rosto pequena. Ainda o chuveiro estava completamente sujo. Tanta sujeira que os canais de saída de água estavam entupidos. Ao tentar limpar, começou a sair uma água marrom, muito desagradável. A limpeza do banheiro é tão duvidável que não tive coragem de pisar na banheira sem chinelos após o acontecimento do (Website hidden by Airbnb) toda a sujeira existente no apartamento e o fato de que todos os problemas que já tínhamos tido, tivemos a impressão que o apto estava há muito fechado e não foi preparado para receber hóspedes. Ao contactar Rose, com quem conversamos em todos os momentos desde a reserva, para falar de todos os problemas, Rose disse que 1) o chuveiro sujo deveria ser apenas minha impressão, 2) sentia que os colchões não fossem de meu agrado, como já coloquei antes e 3, que haviam mais toalhas no armário do corredor. O armário se encontrava trancado e nada mais foi dito até o dia seguinte, quando às 10h da manhã Rose disse que enviaria uma equipe de faxina para resolver a limpeza e também a questão das toalhas. Retornamos ao apartamento e nada tinha sido feito quanto ao que tinha apontado para a anfitriã. Foram necessárias 24 horas e dois banhos em que meu pai usou uma toalha de rosto para se secar para que Rose nos dissesse que havia uma chave que abriria a porta do armário e nos daria acesso às toalhas. A essa altura, já tinha reportado todos os problemas ao Airbnb e dito a ela que a partir de então trataria com a empresa, pois a mesma não havia dado nenhum retorno e assistência. Um problema tão simples não foi resolvido com rapidez e precisão. Ainda a comunicação é péssima, pois todos os problemas reportados foram tratados com descaso e como se fosse mera impressão minha. Quando ouviram minhas reclamações, não fizeram nada para resolvê-las e Rose achou ruim quando notifiquei o Airbnb e parei de...

Jun 27, 2019l'ubicazione è il meglio per visitare la città. la casa grande e comoda sotto tutti i punti di vista. manca qualche accessorio (una scopa - o delle pulizie durante il soggiorno, strofinacci da cucina, carta assorbente da cucina, fiammiferi per la cucina, asciugamani da bagno un po' più grandi, piccole cose di questo tipo). abbiamo avuto dei problemi con la tv che non si sono potuti sistemare durante il nostro soggiorno ma la padrona di casa si è interessata subito, venendo di persona a controllare (purtroppo con il week end in arrivo non era possibile provvedere a risolvere il problema). la proprietaria è stata gentilissima e ci ha aiutati in ogni cosa. esperienza certamente positiva. consigliato. grazie!!!

Jun 27, 2019This appartment is great. All the pictures are very honest. The appartment is in a very nice location as well. And the structure for babies is perfect: crib and bath tub - you don’t find it everywhere. The only thing that is quite problematic is the noise. As it’s a lively neibourhood, there is lots of noise at night. We were with a 5 month baby and it was not nice on that perspective. Putting this issue aside - for those can easily sleep, I highly recommend this appartment.

Die Whg ist sehr gross, modern, sauber, gut gelegen, man ist schnell zu Fuss im Zentrum (gleich neben der Wohnung hat es 2, 3 Lokale für Frühstück/Brunch/Kaffee - Zenith ist zu empfehlen!). Rose war sehr freundlich, hat alles genau erklärt, Kommunikation hat allg. super und easy geklappt. Einzige kleine Minuspunkte: teils etwas frisch/kühl in der Wohnung (im März) & keine Gepäck-Lagerung nach Check-out möglich. Aber ansonsten war alles zu unserer vollen Zufriedenheit! Danke für alles! Wir würden def. wieder kommen!

There are minor things that can be improved like bathroom corner that leaks, bed mattresses and pillows could be better, not working washing machine. But for the short stay it is not a big issue. I can recommend this property.

However you need to pay attention that it is the heart of the city, the bar and clubs area, so the lively noises are almost 24/7.

Für uns unterwegs als Ehepaar und in Begleitung eines Bekannten fanden wir die Raumaufteilung bestens geeignet. Umliegend gibt es tolle Cafes, das Viertel hat uns sehr gefallen.

So wonderful to have a couple lovely cafes just below the apartments as we are there every morning (at Zenith Cafe in particular which I highly recommend!). But the number one reason to stay here if visiting Porto is location, location, location! This apartment is in the best part of the city overlooking a town square.

Jun 27, 2019You couldn’t ask for a better location in Porto! It’s just on one of the main squares and close to everything. There are great restaurants and bars literally on your doorstep. Zenith downstairs always had a queue for brunch! We liked Aduela just around the corner for a drink. Actually they had the best bottle of vinho verde we had on the whole trip! The flat is well set up, the two rooms are quite private from one another. And they’re separated from the kitchen/living area. It’s more spacious than it looks in the pictures. There’s an elevator up to the flat if you have luggage too. The bedrooms do face the square so you can hear some noise but it’s not a particularly late night/noisy area. The windows are modern though so if you shut them you won’t hear anything. There are a double set of blinds so it’s really dark if you want to sleep in. The kitchen has enough basic equipment to do some cooking but then you’d be missing out on all the great restaurants in Porto! There’s a supermarket (Pingo Doce) just up the street for supplies but actually you can get much better fruit and vegetables at the little shops nearby. Checking in was super easy and we had great communication from the host. We’d definitely stay again!

Jun 27, 2019The apartment is as described. The location is fantastic with great bars, cafes, bakery on the doorstep. The view from both front bedrooms is lovely over the square and the two rooms are light and sunny - the living area is darker but with an open spacious feel to it. Some minor touches could make this a perfect choice e.g coffee/sugar, washer not working. We were pleased to be able to check in around midnight which was great for our late flight times and overall we had a great stay and would recommend the apartment.

Le hace falta un poquito más de cuidados: más limpieza, pintar paredes, arreglar humedades del baño y cambiar somier camas individuales. Se echó de menos disponer de la lavadora que no funcionaba.

Jun 27, 2019El apartamento es muy amplio, moderno, cómodo y está muy bien situado. La zona es muy bonita pero ruidosa por el ambiente nocturno, sobre todo fines de semana. No hay flexibilidad en cuanto al horario de entrada por lo que si vienes en avión y quieres aprovechar la mañana tienes que dejar las maletas en una taquilla hasta las 15 horas o cargar con ellas. Rose nos recibió de forma correcta y nos dió unas cuantas indicaciones. Echamos de menos un mayor equipamiento en cuanto a bolsas de basura, jabón, etc con objeto de no tener que salir de forma inmediata a realizar las compras básicas. El baño tenía humedades que desmerecían un poco, ya que como digo me gustó el apartamento.

Jun 27, 2019overall enjoyed my stay - location was great, was very cleanly, and host (Rose) was very responsive. I would suggest to be cautious of the bathroom lock as we had 2 seperate incidents where people were locked inside. It would have been terrible if you were by yourself.

Jun 27, 2019This comfortable apartment is right in the thick of the action on Carlos Alberto square, which is mainly a good think in that it's a central location to see the main sights of Porto. But both bedrooms overlook the square and during our stay it got very loud very late into the night, with the last drunk bar patrons often not quieting down until 5 or 6 in the morning. Aside from that, it's a pretty great place with only a few minor drawbacks. Getting in and out of the apartment is a slightly complicated process involving two codes punched into different keypads and a bunch of steps, but once you're in it's a nice roomy two-bedroom. The kitchen was a bit tricky (we never did find a switch that would turn on the kitchen lights), but it has all the basic necessities.

Jun 27, 2019Abel’s place is so spacious and modern - it is a perfect place for a bigger group of people, very relaxing. LOCATION is everything - all the restaurants, parks and monuments within a walking distance. During student events it can get a little loud at night, but Porto is such a youthful city - can’t be mad:) HIGHLY recommend! I would come back definitely.

Jun 27, 2019La casa es muy bonita y al entrar olia muy bien. Luego, cuando sacamos las cosas de la cocina para usarlas estaban oliosas, el horno sucio, el extractor no funcionaba... No había papel de cocina y sólo un trapo. Nosotras estuvimos en contacto con Rose. No la conocimos en ningun momento. Tuvimos un problema (por culpa nuestra) y nos lo solucionó por telefono sin ni siquiera justificar por que no venia.

Jun 27, 2019La casa di Abel è moderna, pulita ed è situata in una ottima posizione che permette di raggiungere facilmente la zona centrale di Porto. Sfortunatamente però la nostra vacanza è stata rovinata da alcuni spiacevoli inconvenienti. Infatti, al momento del nostro arrivo, concordato con uno dei co-host la casa non era pronta e doveva ancora arrivare il team delle pulizie. L'host non era presente al momento del check-in e questo ha creato uno spiacevole problema. In quanto siamo stati incolpati di aver rotto/perso la mascherina del termostato (cosa assolutamente non vera perché la cover era già mancante al momento del nostro arrivo a casa) e per questo piccolo pezzo ci hanno chiesto di rimborsare la cifra di 185 €. Abel's house is modern, clean and is located in a great position that allows you to easily reach the central area of Porto. Unfortunately, however, our holiday was ruined by some unpleasant inconveniences. In fact, at the time of our arrival, agreed with one of the co-hosts the house was not ready and the cleaning team had yet to arrive. The host was not present at check-in and this created an unfortunate problem. As we were blamed for having broken / lost the cover of the heating control system (which is absolutely not true because the cover was already missing at the time of our arrival at home) and for this little piece they asked us to reimburse the sum of € 185.
