Puamana is a manicured 30 acre gated complex of low-rise town-homes. There is a historic clubhouse, 3 swimming pools, gym, secluded beach (which has a variable amount of sand depending upon time of year), 2 surf breaks just out front and close walking or biking distance to the adorable town of Lahaina and all the restaurants & shops.

Great communication as well as an superb property and location!
Jun 27, 2019When we where at the entrance from Puamana we already had a good feeling. When we where entering to the place from Elise the Puamana Ocean Breeze Bungalow we felt like at home. The place is even better as shown on the picture. It is very clean and tastefully furnished. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. And all the bedrooms are very nice. You got even surfboards or bikes to use. We had every morning our breakfast on the porch which was always a very nice start into the day. From the house you will get in approx. 30“ to the ocean where you can enjoy every day the moast romantic sunsets. Its just fantastic. Puamana Ocean Breeze Bungalow is located close to Lahaina where you also find a lot of nice restaurants and grocery stores. And from Puamana you also can do realy nice daytrips like going snorkeling or do the road to Hana, to Wailea Makena or you go to Haleakala where you have a nice few on 10000 Feet over Maui (if the weather is nice) And if you just feel like relaxing than the ocean pool from Puamana is the perfect place just to calm down an enjoy the beauty of the pacific. Right in front of the club house are two surf spots where my son and daughter went surfing every morning. We just can highly recomand this beautiful place and we are still overwhelmed. Thank you so much Elise for having us. You have been always so nice and flexible and did respond very quick to our e-mails and answers. We had a realy great time and we will miss this quiet and romatic place. We just love Maui and all the other Hawaiian Islands. Mahalo for everything. Lajos and Family
Jun 27, 2019This was my first time using Airbnb and it was perfect! The bungalow is very comfortable, in a beautiful setting and within walking distance (one mile) of shops and restaurants. Elise had everything available for us and we felt right at home. If we ever return to Maui, we would love to stay here again. Thank you Elise!!!
Jun 27, 2019We spent a week and a half at the Ocean Breeze Bungalow in Lahaina and it was absolutely perfect. The house was well appointed, extremely clean and Puamana is centrally located to everything Maui has to offer. We had everything we needed to feel right at home. The complex is within walking distance of Lahaina. And a 30 minute drive to everything else. You really can't find a better place on Maui. Elise was an ideal host and we had great communication from her and her onsite manager. One note - If you are looking for more of a party scene or a place to get a little wild this is probably not a great choice....if you want a sweet peaceful place that's not a pretentious resort, this is for you.

Her place was exactly as described and the photos were accurate. It was, neat, clean, comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen had everything necessary to cook and prepare meals. The neighborhood was awesome - clean and safe. It was an easy walk into town and located close to many of the activities we had planned.

Limited sand on the beach at location (December), but plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Elise is a pleasure to work with; outstanding communication and information shared!

Jun 27, 2019Great location! Just a nice walk down Front street brings you to the heart of Lahaina. A beautiful Airbnb steps away from the ocean and in a very nicely maintained community. Elise is very very responsive. The guests before us left the place in a mild disarray breaking various items but she let me know as soon as she found out and attempted to fix what she could in one day. She sent us a lovely basket of Maui-an goods to make up for the honestly very minor inconveniences, which was a very nice gesture. Check-in instructions very clear and easy. The house has a lovely back deck, while although not entirely private as you can see the other neighboring decks, was a nice place to enjoy some meals. She offers many of the essentials such as a SUP, snorkels, watershoes, boogie boards and a outdoor shower, which made going out to explore the beaches hassle free. The rooms are nicely appointed and we really had everything we needed. Could not have asked for a better place to stay.

Elise's is a nice place with everything you need for a fun trip to Hawaii, including kitchen equipment, beach toys, surfing and body surfing boards, and beach lounge equipment. There was one minor mistake in the listing but Elise promptly corrected it when it was brought to her attention and made amends for the confusion. Everything else was as described and made for a wonderful trip to Maui! Thanks for sharing your place with us!
Jun 27, 2019I would definitely recommend Elise's condo to anyone staying in the Lahaina area. It is even nicer than the pictures suggest and we were very comfortable during our stay. Elise thought of anything and everything you could possibly need - from making a home-cooked meal to spending a day on the beach. Also, the community of Puamana is beautiful! Do not miss the ocean front pool - it's spectacular. Don't hesitate to book here - it's a great value and you'll love every minute of your stay!
Jun 27, 2019Elise's place in Lahaina was perfect for the couple days we visited. The home is in a great location off front street, close to multiple restaurants and shopping opportunities. She has a lot of beach equipment that comes with the house. We used the snorkel equipment, SUP, and surfboard. All equipment is in good condition and beach access is everywhere you look. A really great place for a quick beach vacation. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Jun 27, 2019Check-In was easy and the property was just as described. The property is located within a mile walk of downtown Lahaina. Wonderful selection of restaurants and the nightlife is second to none. Elise responded immediately when we needed new batteries for one of the remotes and had an issue with operating one of the ceiling fans. Her on-site handyman Rick responded within minutes to assist us. The property met all our needs and I can highly recommend the property for a comfortable stay.
Jun 27, 2019We had a great stay at Elise's place. The unit was comfortable for four guests. We loved the back patio area and having the charcoal grill was really nice. There was no beach access for us as the sand was covered by rocks however, this was stated in the description that beach access can vary depending on the time of year. The grounds were neat and clean and the views of the ocean are surreal. Elise was very responsive to any messages or texts. The check in process was easy and all the information was accurately provided by Elise. We had a great stay at Puamana and loved exploring Lahaina ( several shops and restaurants are close by). We would love to come back some day.

Jul 27, 2019Elise's home is a beautiful home. It was very comfortable and located in the beautiful community of Puamana. The location itself seems as though it's right out of a brochure for Maui as it is right next to the ocean with huge palm trees everywhere. The location itself is very convenient as it is only a mile away from the center of Lahaina. It is close enough to get there were ease but far away enough that you can sleep while you can listen to only the waves crashing in the background. The house itself was clean and spacious. The pictures were very accurate in showing representing the home. Elise was awesome in getting back to me with any questions or concerns I had. She was also able to provide an extensive list of places, sights, and activities that you can do on the island. I know with me, I like to maximize my experience wherever I go. With Maui, there are so many places to see that it can get a bit overwhelming. The information that Elise provided was essential to narrowing down all the great experiences we had. All in all, my stay at Elise's home was an integral part to the amazing experience I had on Maui and would recommend this home to anyone!

Elise is a great host who was in contact and gave us all the information and responsive to questions. She also has a great feel for the area and "things to do" restaurants etc. The home is comfortable, cozy, and has all the creature comforts you may need. I highly recommend.
Jun 27, 2019It took 40 minutes to drive from the airport to Puamana and the instructions to check in were straightforward. Our family of five fitted in to the house comfortably and having two bathrooms was helpful. The house is tastefully decorated in a beach theme. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the air conditioning coming from a New Zealand winter! The outdoor area was a nice place to relax and read. We used the beach gear provided, that was a bonus. The pool was a family favourite as were those amazing sunsets. We have great memories of our stay and would happily go back again.

Jun 27, 2019Elise's place was amazing! The location was perfect - quiet and peaceful, yet still close to amenities in town. The nearby beach (a five minute stroll away) was very uncrowded. We traveled as a family of four, and our two teenagers loved having the loft space as their own hangout zone. Sitting out on the lanai in the morning with a cup of coffee, listening to the birds and nature, was one of our favorite things to do. We also loved grilling in the evenings. We will definitely return! Thank you, Elise, for a wonderful stay.

Jun 27, 2019We had a great stay in Elise's Ocean Breeze house. It is clear that Elise and her family use the house themselves: it's not just another rental condo, but it shows that it gets quite some TLC. It feels homely and is well equipped (both on the water sports and the cooking front). It is a small, cosy house, but well laid out and it has A/C, which is not standard on Hawaii. Elise herself was very easy to communicate with. She responded within minutes to my emails and provided personal tips on what not to miss on the island. A perfect host. The only downside were the bugs, but I guess that's part of being on a tropical island.

Jul 27, 2019This property is absolutely fabulous!! It was exactly as described and offered everything you would want, and more! The host, Elise, was super quick to respond to communications, and provided lots of additional local information which we found very useful. The location was ideal, with just a short stroll into Lahaina to explore the many shops and restaurants. Having three pools on the property was excellent, as it offered a range of pool-time fun for both my children and my mother, not to mention all the surrounding beaches where my boys surfed everyday. We would definitely hire this house again if we are ever to return to Maui. So if you are looking for a little slice of heaven outside of the super-busy resort area of Kaanapali, and a home away from home, then look no further!
Jun 27, 2019This was an enchanted, once-in-a-lifetime trip for my wife and me and that is in no small part due to Elise's gorgeous, safe, clean, perfectly located place. We were both fascinated by how much Puamana reminded us of our Southern California childhoods in the 60's and 70's - except it was the childhood we both aspired to and not so much the one we actually had! The grounds were immaculate, the location ideal, and the bright, beach-themed bungalow was absolutely perfect for us. We especially noticed how quiet it was - no traffic noise at all, just the very light purr of the waves in the middle distance. Elise was very quick and complete with all communication, which comforted me since we had never been to Hawaii and I really wanted to make sure we were stepping into a good situation. This was also a surprise anniversary/birthday trip for my wife so I needed everything to be perfect. With all the great beach-fun gear provided by Elise and the easy walk to the private beach (Puamana is a private, gated community), we had the makings of many warm, sweet memories. And yes, we did take her advice and had both morning coffee and sunset snacks at the clubhouse! I haven't even mentioned the location - a mile from the heart of Lahaina and just another 5 minute drive up to Black Rock. We took full advantage of both places and still had plenty of downtime to recharge and relax at the bungalow. We are still in the glow of the whole trip, but really, I cannot recommend Elise's bungalow enough.
Jun 27, 2019Elise's place was perfect for our mother/daughter getaway. Elise was incredibly helpful, her place has nice personal touches and was very clean, and the location was perfect. We could walk into town for meals and enjoy the beach and ocean pool during the day. We wanted to simply relax and we could not have chosen a better location for that. We will definitely return.

We walked into town several times and used the quiet pool for laps, reading and relaxation! Neighbors were scarce but friendly and the weather was Stellar!! Jun 27, 2019The location is really great, near Lahaina but not right in the center of town. The complex is right on the ocean, a short walk to palm trees and shoreline, with a nice pool and clubhouse (though we didn't have a chance to use it). The loft is super sunny and great for spreading out, or for a family. And a shady back porch with outdoor seating on the garden area. Very nice, you won't be disappointed!

The location of the apartment is awesome - we watched the sunset and the whale activity from the pool house every evening and loved swimming in the ocean front pool. Being close to Lahaina was also fantastic - good supermarkets, coffee and interesting shops. We loved our time at Elise’s place. Thank you Elise!

Jun 27, 2019What an amazing experience! The home was beautiful and more than expected. The private lanai with outdoor seating was a perfect start to every morning. The home was tastefully decorated, clean, and welcoming! The location was so perfectly close to downtown Lahaina. Elise was lightening quick in responses when there was only 1 key left at the home vs 2, and 2 additional keys were made on the spot. The home is in a wonderful private gated community with friendly neighbors/ guests. The quiet hours also made for relaxing evenings to wind down after fun-filled days. Our teenage son LOVED having a large upstairs loft all to himself as well. Elisa also provided a wealth of local knowledge and helpful tips and recommendations as well. My only comments would be that while walking or biking into Lahaina is absolutely possible, there is no shoulder on the road and quite a bit of vehicle traffic. I don't recommend biking with smaller/ younger children if possible. However, downtown is just perfect for walks, great food and drink options, and welcoming locals. We can't wait to return!!! Thank you for opening your home to us! We will be back again.
Jun 27, 2019Our family of five enjoyed a wonderful week at the bungalow! The location is excellent, close enough to town that it is convenient, but the property is not at all crowded. We used the pools on site and walked down to the public beach at the end of the property. While the kitchen and bathroom spaces are on the smaller side, the loft easily accommodated our three older kids and the lanai gives ample room for everyone to spread out. You can enjoy a morning cup of coffee at the side of the bungalow, where Elise has set up a small table and chair set, and watch the surf roll in. We did experience a little noise from neighbors, but less than you would at a typical hotel. Overall this was a great experience for our family.
Jun 27, 2019What you see on line is truly what you get with way more! All the amenities you could hope for as well as a super location to club house and quiet pool. The trip into Lahaina is a mile away and an enjoyable bike ride or walk. We felt very safe in Puamana and would definitely recommend this unit to others.

Jun 27, 2019Great place and very responsive host. We stayed for 2 weeks. We, as a family built great memories there! Slight issues with the dishwasher, which they called a handyman very quickly for. Small ant problem, but nothing we were concerned about. We will be back for sure!!!!!
Jun 27, 2019We stayed for ten nights and we wish we could have stayed longer. This bungalow is the far best that we have come across renting Air BnB. It was everything as promised and then some. The host, Elise, is very accomodating and was quick to respond to any questions and also came with suggestions for adventures around Maui. The location is great with both ocean access and close enough to Lahaina to walk there. The neighbourhood is very quiet and serene and the surrounding is lush. We highly recommend this to anyone who wants a part of paradise.
Jun 27, 2019We have been approximately two weeks in Elise‘s host. Our stay was amazing, we didn‘t miss anything. There are all facilities and equipment, which make your holiday even better. The apartment is furnished with love and the Resort has everything, tennis courts, pools, beach access and by the clubhouse you can see the most beautiful sunset on the island. We didn‘t face no problems getting there as Elise explained everything very well! Summed up, best thing that we probably could have booked and we absolutely would go there again.
Jun 27, 2019Elise's home is even better than any description, you've simply got to see it. Yes, Maui and Hawaii isn't cheap, and neither is the accommodation, but by heck it is worth it. The house is in excellent condition throughout and everything is spick and span clean. There is everything you need and more for your stay. Elise is a fabulous host and kept in touch with us as a hurricane threatened to hit the island. She gave us tips at every turn, not only to stay safe, but also where to find great and fun things to do on Maui. The location of her house could not have been any better to be honest. From Lahaina, we were able to see almost everything we set out to do before our arrival. Elise, thank you again for being such an amazing host!!!

Jun 27, 2019Such a greay stay. Clean community with great facilities. The condo is comfy with a fun second floor that would be ideal for kids. Incredible pool that overlooks the ocean just steps away. Lahaina is a mile away. We walked it many times. Great dining. Sit and enjoy or, Fleetwoods and Pacific’O were our favorites, or carry out back to the condo to relax. For carry out I recommend Paia Fishmarket. Excellent and reasonably priced. Location was super convenient to downtown Lahaina but loved that it wasn’t right in the hustle and bustle. The best thing was having beach chairs, a variety of snorkel gear, coolers, beach bags, water shoes, umbrella, towels etc all available for use. Large outdoor patio space was lovely for morning breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!

Jun 27, 2019Perfect for a family! We had two little ones with us ( 1&4 ). During nap time we could hangout on the patio and still enjoy the sun. I do recommend renting baby gates if you have little ones that aren’t good on there feet still/get into everything. Watching the sunset out front of the club house and the whales breaching was truly breathtaking!!
