The hosts will have full access to the apartment with no shared areas. We are a young couple that will be dedicated to provide our guests the best Porto experience possible. We both work and worked in tourism for a while. Cátia, 26 years old, will be the person that will answer faster to your call. She worked as receptionist and animator in Hostels and Hotel
Neighborhood Overview
It's a calm neighborhood, close to everything you will need to see and do. 5 minutes from comercial street, metro and train station, Cathedral, Luis I bridge, etc.
Notes
Our prices don't include heating. Please do notice that at the amenities isn't mentioned. We do have extra blankets. We can provide a small heater to warm up the bedroom.
Transit
In the city center parking is payed during week days, and free during weekends. If you arrive by plane, the best way from the airport is by Metro. You need to by "Andante" card and charge it with "Z4" zone that costs 1,85€. Catching the metro until the stop "Bolhão" and you are close from us. If you arrive by train, is normal that your destination is "Campanhã". To the center from there the best way is just changing Train to São Bento, one stop from there.

Rules
Not a big deal, take care about the house as if it was yours. We put a big effort to create a nice and comfortable space for you and the next person after you. Help us to have the best conditions possible. When you leave the apartment we ask for the dishes to be washed and the garbage taken out. Check in after 15h00/3PM Check in after 20h00/8PM under agreement. Check out 11h00/11AM. In the building there are other people living, so we need to respect the normal noise rules.

L'appartement est formidable,idéalement situé à 5mn à pied de toutes les animations, une grande terrasse sur laquelle c'est un plaisir de prendre son café le matin. L'appartement est entièrement rénové, c'est agréable d'être dans du neuf. Il est au calme tout en étant dans une zone animée. David nous a accueilli avec une carafe de Porto et beaucoup de gentillesse et de disponibilité. Il nous a indiqué toutes les bonnes adresses, plan à l'appui, on a tout fait et il a été de très bon conseil. Il est resté disponible par mail tout le temps si nous avions des besoins. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse et merci encore à David et Catia.
Jun 27, 2019Foi o melhor apartamento onde já ficámos através da Airbnb! A Cátia e o David receberam-nos muito bem e foi fácil encontrar o local. À nossa espera tínhamos alguma comida e vinho do porto, bem como muitos guias e mapas para nos orientar pela cidade. Apesar da hora tardia, não hesitaram em dar-nos bastantes dicas para a nossa visita. A localização é mesmo muito central e a zona é sossegada. O apartamento é novo, bastante bem equipado e confortável. Acordar de manhã e aproveitar o sol na varanda foi especial. Estava tudo bastante limpo e arrumado. No dia da saída, como não entrava ninguém, deixaram-nos ficar à vontade até à hora de apanhar o comboio. Foi mesmo uma experiência cinco estrelas. Quando voltarmos, não hesitamos no local de estadia: este rooftop! Obrigada Cátia e David pela excelente recepção!

Jun 27, 2019Cátia and David have put a lot of thought into ensuring the flat is nicely furnished and well equipped, plus adding homely touches. They are caring and thoughtful hosts, contacting us before and during our time to check everything was fine. Thank you for remembering my birthday; a very special memory. Cátia provided a comprehensive overview of Porto when we met her at the flat and all her recommendations of what to see, where to go and restaurants to eat at were excellent. We didn't have time for your francesinha challenge Cátia but we'll take it up next time! The flat is in an excellent location; easy walking distance from attractions, but also in an area of great local bars and shops. Many happy times watching the world go by, and the football, at Cafe Java. And of course the roof top terrace is an excellent place to relax and enjoy wine, or beer, after a day of exploring the steep streets and many steps of Porto. We will most definitely be returning. Jun 27, 2019Die Kommunikation mit Cátia und David verlief reibungslos. Check-in und check-out waren völlig unkompliziert. Cátia hat uns freundlich in Empfang genommen und uns bei einem Erfrischungsgetränk tolle Insider-Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben. Da wir eine knappe Woche in Porto waren, war es prima, dass Cátia uns auch Tipps für Portos Umland (tolle Strände etc.) geben konnte. Die Wohnung ist grundsätzlich sauber, modern eingerichtet und liebevoll dekoriert. Die Dachterrasse ein Traum. Alles in allem hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt. Jedoch wurden während unseres Aufenhalts unter der Woche Bauarbeiten/Renovierungsarbeiten im Haus durchgeführt, weshalb wir durch eine teilweise starke Lärmkulisse gestört wurden. Am Wochenende haben wir davon nichts mitbekommen. Wenn die Renovierungsarbeiten abgeschlossen sind, steht aber auch einem längeren Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung nichts im Wege.

Jun 27, 2019Our stay at City Centre Roof was top in every respect. The modern apartment with its amazing rooftop is located in the historic part of Porto. It is spacious, very clean and lovingly decorated. Catia gave us a very warm welcome and provided us with ample information about the city, places to visit or restaurants to go to (we loved the Francesinha!!!). We can definitely recommend this place to everyone travelling to Porto. Thank you very much, Catia and David.

Estva muito limpo e arejado.. é bem dividido, o wi fi excelente e ha mapas e dicas suficientes deixadas pelos proprietáriosA cozinha apesar de nao termos utilizada é totalmente equipada e com bons utensílios. A cama de casal é excelente e o sofa cama tb. O banheiro é grande o suficiente e as toalhas deixadas muito macias.O predio fica bem central. Transporte acessivel na rua. Restaurante chines/ japones muito gostoso ao lado do prédio.

Jun 27, 2019Cátia & David’s place was one of the greatest airbnb experience I've ever had. It is located close to the train station and this rooftop terrace is to die for! Wish we stayed there longer. Catia met us even at 9pm, was very helpful and nice and gave us lots of local tips. Communication was easy. We will definitely come back to Porto some time and will stay at Cátia & David’s place - hope it will be available :)
Jun 27, 2019This is a really nice apartment, much better than the pictures which don't really do it justice. The rooftop is lovely, especially in the mornings when it gets the sunshine. The place was really clean and everything inside is modern, it has everything you need but is done out in quite a minimalist way. Within 10-15 minutes walk of pretty much anything you could want to do in Porto and a taxi-rank outside if you can't be bothered to walk. The host is great and will give you some excellent recommendations for places to go in the city. Be prepared to give your legs a good workout because this is a hilly place!

Jun 27, 2019The apartment was very bright, clean and comfortable. Terrace is lovely and we wish we had time and good weather to utilize is. The building has a Taxi stand very close by and it is walking distance from city's main attractions. Cátia was great with communicating regarding check-in and offered helpful tips for our short stay. The only thing we found a little disappointing was that hot water ran out when the three of us tried to take showers in a row. I'd suggest staggering them a little to let the water heat up again. If I come back to Porto I'd definitely stay there again.

Catia & David were quick to respond leading up to our trip. On arrival, Catia provided an awesome list of suggestions of sights and restaurants so we didn't miss anything during our stay.

Jun 27, 2019Catiá warmly welcomed us at the apartment and provided a citymap, a good bottle port wine and all the information needed. The apartment is bright, recently renovated and even better than the pictures. The rooftop terrace is great! It's sunny, provides a great view and is very relaxing after a long day exploring Porto. The apartment is located on the 6th floor of the building (top floor, accessible with elevator). The neighbourhood is quiet and very well located. It is within walking distance to the city center, Ponte Dom Luís bridge, (grocery)shops, bars, restaurants and public transportation (bus, train, subway, taxi-stand in front of the apartment). Make sure you visit Casa Guedes for the best pork sandwich (5min. walk). Catiá was a great help on our last day when there weren’t any luggage lockers left at São Bento trainstation. We highly recommend the apartment and off course Catiá as host!

Disfrutamos de la terraza todos los dias, muy agradable especialemente por la mañana cuando dá el sol. Catia y David fueron muy atentos y nos ayudaron a movernos y vistar los mejores sitios de la ciudad. Sin duda, un apartamento y experiencia muy recomendable

The location could not be better, just a very short walk from the major attractions in an interesting vibrant neighbourhood with great restaurants, coffee bars and supermarket. The apartment is very clean and comfortable and were greeted by a welcoming glass of Port. We loved having the large balcony. Cátia and David provide great tips for eating and sightseeing. Don't miss a meal at the recommended local restaurant. Also the sushi restaurant downstairs is fantastic. These things made our trip to Porto a further joy. I mistakenly left a jacket in the apartment and Cátia went out of her way to find it and mail it to me. I really appreciated her willingness to help. We highly recommend booking a stay here while visiting the beautiful city of Porto.

Jun 27, 2019Nice and clean flat at the edge of the old town centre. River and historical sights in walking distance, Tourist busses stop right outside the door. I didn't hear any traffic noise as the appartment is on the 6th floor. Great balcony! The welcome was lovely with travel tips and a glass of Port. The only negativ thing was that it was quite cold in January as there is no central heating. There is a a little electric heater though.
Jun 27, 2019Très joli appartement et très bien situé, à l'extérieur des avenues principales et à seulement quelques minutes de marche de celles-ci. Catia est une très bonne hôte elle nous a donné de précieux conseils en arrivant tout en nous offrant un verre de porto. Seul point négatif l'appartement ne possède pas de chauffage central, il faisait donc un peu frisquet quand le temps n'était pas au beau fixe.

Jun 27, 2019The apartement is clean and near the center. Catia was very very nice and reactive. The bottle of porto and the pastéis de nata as welcome gifts were really appreciated and generous. Just one problem, the temperature. The room was ok with the small electric heater but the rest of the apartement had no heating and was so COLD. In summer it should be perfect but in the winter... Catia and David should buy an other heater from the living room.
Jun 27, 2019Ich kann dieses Appartment nur empfehlen. Wir waren für eine Woche in Catia Wohnung und es ist alles wie man es auf den Fotos sieht. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit der Küche. Die Lage ist wirklich gut. Man geht ein paar Meter und schon ist man mitten in der Stadt. Ein Aufzug ist auch vorhanden. Die Dachterasse ist sehr schön und groß, aber leider konnten wir sie aufgrund des Wetters nicht so richtig nutzen. Von der Straße oder von irgendwelchen Nachbarn hört man nicht viel, so dass man auf jeden Fall einen ruhigen Schlaf hat. Einzig das Bett war mir etwas zu weich, aber für ein paar Tage geht auch das. Die KOmmunikation mit Catia hat problemlos funktioniert. Sie antwortete auf (Hidden by Airbnb) Nachrichten sehr schnell und hat uns unten an der Straße empfangen, so dass der Check in problemlos war. Sie hatte auch ein paar tolle Tipps für uns. Von mir gibt es eine klare Empfehlung für Catia und diese Wohnung.

Jun 27, 2019Wir wurden sehr nett von Chris empfangen, die uns dann auch einige gute Insidertipps zu Porto gegeben hat. Das Apartment ist super schön eingerichtet und man hat alles was man benötigt. Was uns am meisten gefallen hat war die zentrale Lage und es ist trotzdem total ruhig der einzige Kritikpunkt ist der Balkon (sehr schön aber leider überhaupt nicht gepflegt und die Bilder zeigen einen anderen Zustand) und es war etwas staubig. Sonst alles perfekt

Jun 27, 2019Bonjour, Hôtes très sympathiques, l'appartement est très propre et la terrasse agréable s'il fait beau. Il est situé dans une grande rue mais franchement c'est très calme la nuit, les fenêtres fermées (ce n'est pas forcement simple à porto où les constructions sont assez vieilles). Nous avons tout fait à pied mais attention ça grimpe!

Jun 27, 2019We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable apartment. It's in a great location - really easy to orientate and get to key areas quickly. There's a supermarket only a 5 minute walk away and you are really close to St Bento station. Amenities were good and we even cooked a few times! The fan in the bedroom was a godsend at night to keep the apartment cool.

Catia met us when checking in and was really helpful giving us directions to local shops and recommendations for restaurants. Perfect host! Porto is beautiful, id love to visit again and I'd definitely stay here again!

Jun 27, 2019Catia & David's apartment is perfect, with a large open kitchen, dining and living area, large double bedroom and large balcony which was great to enjoy breakfast in the sun and evening drinks. The apartment is fully equipped, with a supermarket just 10min walking distance. Famous Sao Bento station is less than a 10min walk so easy to catch a train to Campahna, a beach or elsewhere. The main bridge is also a 10min walk whilst the riverfront with a range of bars and restaurants are a 15min walk. There are also taxis directly outside if you need. Chris met us on arrival and was very helpful in explaining the area and places of interest. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you!

It was clean, check in and out were easy and Cris gave us some great tips and recommendations for things to do. We especially loved sitting out on the deck in the evenings.
Jun 27, 2019Bright, modern and cosy flat, very well located in the heart of Porto, making everything reachable by foot easily. It's conform to the pictures and the terrace is particularly enjoyable! Even though its located on a big street, there is absolutely no noise inside with windows closed. It is a bit short in kitchen equipment for more than two persons (only two wine glasses, two cups) and in basic stuff (no coffee, tea). There has been a bit of a mess-up with cleaning (neglicted bathroom) but mistakes can happen. Unfortunately, we didn't have the chance to meet Catia or David, but we appreciated flexible check in and out. Good place to stay overall!

Jun 27, 2019My wife and I stayed here on our trip to Portugal. This apartment was in a great location for walking around Porto. Catia & David’s hospitality was wonderful! We were welcomed with custard pies and port wine. Catia provides helpful information for places to go and things to do. They were super responsive when we had question. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Jun 27, 2019Large, bright, modern, clean space in a very convenient location ever so slightly off the tourist part but very close enough to enjoy all Porto's beauty and explore some local neighborhoods. This location would get six stars if I could. Easy check-in, friendly and helpful advice on where to go and a huge space with a wonderful roof terrace to relax on. Great value, outstanding hosts who will provide good information, very clean, very modern full kitchen - nice tile bathroom, comfortable and private.

Jun 27, 2019La casa de Catia y David es perfecta para pasar unos días en Oporto. La ubicación es excelente. Estas al lado de todo. Tuvieron el detalle de dejarnos un vino de porto y unos pasteles de nata, típicos portugueses, a nuestra llegada. Estaba todo muy limpio y agradable. Habríamos agradecido algún calefactor más, ya que ahora en noviembre hemos notado más el frío.

Jun 27, 2019Our stay at Catia and David's was great! Their friend checked us in and provided several local suggestions which was really helpful. The location made it easy to walk everywhere. And some treats were left for us which was a very nice touch! Would definitely recommend.

Short walk to the main attractions and Old Town, plenty going on in Porto for New Year celebrations, plenty of restaurants nearby. Unfortunately the communal lift broke down after 1 day and was left unrepaired for the rest of the stay which was very inconvenient as it was approx. 100 steps up and down to the 6th floor but this couldn't possibly be accounted for by the home owners.

Jun 27, 2019Voyage décevant, malgré un accueil formidable avec des petites friandises ce fut un calvaire de dormir la bas. En effet cet appartement n'est pas adapté aux frileux. Moins de 10 degrés dans l'appart le soir , devoir dormir avec des énormes pulls joggings chaussettes n'est pas normal. Le petit chauffage n'a de chauffage que le nom. Justifier le prix par la non présence de chauffage est impossible. En effet nous avons rencontré des gens qui ont payé le même prix chauffage compris dans la même localisation. De plus les deux premiers jours le bruit du toit fut insupportable (preuve a l'appui) d'énormes claquements. Et un évier de salle de bain bouché (preuve a l'appui). bref en soit l'appart est vraiment joli mais le confort n'est pas là en hiver. Je pense que dans l'état actuel il devrait être loué qu en été. Désolé mais pour moi c'est une vraie déception.
