When inside the room, you might be able to hear the sound of people going up and down the stairs. Room will be set up base on how many guest is listed in the booking. First two guest uses the queen size bed. Third guest uses the twin size bed. Fourth guest used the sofa bed.

There is free parking by our house (on request prior to the day of checking in.) The A train is 5 minutes walk away, takes a hour to get to Manhattan during the week and during weekend, it can take up to an hour and half. We are two stop from Howard Beach - JFK AirTrain station, which take around 15-20 minutes to get to.

Safa's place was perfect- just what we needed for a short trip to the beach. The place was clean, quiet, and had all of the necessities. The fridge and water cooler were life savers!
Jun 27, 2019This was a wonderful place to stay!!! Really close to the beach. Safa (or the woman who checked us in) was super flexible about our arrival time and took care to make sure everything was set up and clean. In the morning a neighbor had parked us in and she quickly took care of it. Easy to walk to the beach, easy to park, really clean and simple and great.

Jun 27, 2019This was the perfect place for a beach getaway. It felt more like a studio apartment than a room in someone's home, just without a full kitchen (microwave and fridge though!). The room was incredibly clean and the AC was strong and quiet. 5 minute walk from the beach. So great!

Jun 27, 2019We booked this place for one night based on very good reviews. I had a half marathon race in the next early morning. When we arrived, Derek (the premise manager) welcomed us and everything looked nice, comfortable and clean. The location is also good (close to the A train station and the beach). However, it was not quiet during the night sleep. We were woken up by constant loud noises ( between 12am and 2:30am ) from the tenant family (apparently, who also rent and stay in the house but on a different floor or room). We had no choice but called Derek around 12:16am and later with SMS, but the situation was not under control. The tenant's kids kept speaking loudly and running around, we could not get any sleep between 12-2:30am at all. We felt exhausted and bad in the next morning due to disruptions of night sleep (remember, I also had 13miles race to run). Definitely, it requires further improvements.

Jun 27, 2019This room was exactly as advertised. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Safa was responsive and professional. However, we were only there 2 nights and we hardly slept the first night because the neighbors in the adjacent unit were in the hallway yelling running up and down the stairs until about 3am. It seemed like there was no sound proofing between our room and the stairwell. If not for the noise, I would definitely recommend this room.

Jun 27, 2019Safa's place is perfect for what myself and friends needed. Super clean, with good amenities for our weekend [microwave, coffee, toaster, fridge/freezer and even a water cooler]. It was in a quiet neighbourhood, and we could walk to the beach within minutes, and were super close to the metro station 67. We also could walk to the more lively area with bars and restaurants easily or take the bus if we wished straight down the street. Would definitely book again for a similar weekend trip.

Jun 27, 2019A great, clean place, but far from a lot of the more happening beaches. There's a subway problem in getting from this part of the Rockaways to the other, more lively parts, so I'd prepare for using Uber or the city bus.
Jun 27, 2019A clean and very spacious room with everything you need...very close to the beach. We were really impressed with how large the room is, and even though it's part of a larger home, it really feels like a private studio apartment. Safa has provided everything you might need, and the space was super clean. Communication was great- he's very responsive, and checking in was a breeze. This place is an EXCELLENT value for the area. We will definitely be back!
Jun 27, 2019Had a great time at this studio near the beach but several baffling hosting choices that people should be aware of. First: The apartment was listed as having wifi but there was no signal in the unit. Reached out to the host who said the router was in the upstairs stairway and that there was nothing he could do. Unexpectedly had to do some work that required wifi which caused an issue. Second: Host is stingy about bathroom necessities. No hand towels or wash cloths, a nearly empty paper towel roll next to the sink with no replacement, no extra bath towels in case one gets dirty, a half empty hand soap next to the sink that ran out by the end of the trip, no extra toilet paper, etc. Felt strange that all the cabinets were empty instead of having extras. Overall, apartment was clean with a convenient passcode entry. Upstairs neighbors and airplanes were a bit noisy but did not bother us too much. Location is great as it is a short walk to the beach. Rockaways are fun in general with great food (tacoway beach!) and different choices of live music on the boardwalk. This is a solid rental and we had a good time but it ended up feeling a bit pricey due to the amenities situation described above.

Jun 27, 2019Safa's place was perfect for our weekend getaway. One of the absolute cleanest places I've ever stayed. It was located in a quiet cute neighborhood minutes from the beach. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice beach getaway! :)
Jun 27, 2019Safa's place was very nicely located a short walk from the beach. Check in was seamless and the space was clean and comfortable. The noise from surrounding units and nearby staircase - as detailed in several prior reviews - made it challenging to sleep at night and caused us to wake up quite early. If you're ok with this / not terribly concerned about a great night's sleep, Safa's place is perfect. If you're looking to hear a pin drop, you may want to look elsewhere.

Si bien el inmueble está en muy buenas condiciones y el anfitrión fue muy atento, el ruido no nos dejó descansar: al ser los suelos de madera, el ruido de los vecinos de arriba era bastante molesto, aunado a sus altas voces, pero todavía más ruido hacia el tren cercano y los aviones, lo que si bien no es culpa del anfitrión hizo difícil dormir. Por lo demás, el área donde está el alojamiento es bonita y la playa también, comimos muy bien y nos llevamos un buen recuerdo, a pesar del ruido que, evidentemente, no es culpa del anfitrión, pero insonorizar de alguna forma mejoraría inmensamente la calidad del sueño.
