Had a great stay here. Very nice property with lots of amenities and close to all the hot spots. Room was very comfortable and clean.
Jun 27, 2019Our stay at Kauai Beach Resort (KBR) was great, and although we never met our host Molly - we didn't need to - the accommodation is a privately owned unit within a first class resort!!!! We checked in like all the other guests and had full use of all the resort facilities in an idyllic setting - multiple swimming pools and dining areas, one with live music most nights & there were 2 weddings down on the beach in the week we stayed - really is a BEAUTIFUL spot. Having said all of the above my one piece of advice would be "book a car rental BEFORE you arrive!!!!!" There is a free shuttle from and to the Lihue airport and also to a local shopping centre (crap), but for such a small island there is so much to do and see and we were starting to get cabin fever as we had to wait 3 days for a rental car (limited number on the island or maybe our stay was in peak season???
Jun 27, 2019It is a perfect place to stay on Kauai. We actually haven't met her but the check-in went easily. As well you can use the pool and fitness as any other hotel gast which was a huge plus! Make sure you rent a car and this will be your perfect spot to be!
Jun 27, 2019The Kauai Beach Resort never disappoints and neither did Molly's unit. It was a beautiful room with a partial view of the ocean, you could see enough of the ocean and hear it from the patio. We utilized this serene environment and ate breakfast on the patio daily. Molly was great at communicating what our room would be like, so there were no surprises. I would highly recommend Molly's unit for a great escape to paradise.
Jun 27, 2019Molly has both hotel rooms and villas. Make sure you choose the option you want. Molly is very responsive and an excellent host. She addressed all of our issues promptly and without question.

Jun 27, 2019Very quiet and clean and you have access to everything at the resort! Beautiful view of ocean and mountains. We loved every minute of our stay and only wished we could stay longer. In the amenities it says there is no hair dryer, but I double checked with Molly and there is one, so don't worry about needing to waste precious suitcase space. We walked the short distance out to the ocean, it was very beautiful, with almost nobody else out there. Everyone that worked at the resort was SO NICE.

Jun 27, 2019Absolutely loved staying here. Beautiful beach view, centrally located on the island. It would be best to rent a car to get around and see the sights. Renting a private home you do not get amenities like free parking and airport shuttle, but you can rent a car from the airport and pay $25 parking fee and have everything you need. We will definitely be back.
Jun 27, 2019The listing states "studio style condo". This is a hotel room, not a condo. No refrigerator. Parking is $25.00 per day valet or self park, plus tax. The resort is great, minutes to town and the airport.
Jun 27, 2019This was a great opportunity to stay at a major top-class resort at a discounted rate. The experience was essentially identical to that of other resort guests -- the only tradeoff was lack of daily maid service (you can opt for that if you want it) and there was one happy hour with free mai tais that private party guests were not eligible for (again, no big deal ). I would highly recommend this to anyone else.
Jun 27, 2019Kauai Beach Resort is great! The pools and the views are wonderful. Staff is very friendly and helpful. This room is nice, clean, and well appointed. You can see the ocean from the balcony if you look left. Straight down and to the right you see a smoking area and the back side of the hotel, but we weren't disturbed by any noise or smoke. Would love to stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019This place was even better than it looks in the pictures!!! The hotel itself is super cute with three separate places to eat. Only about 10 minutes away from a great swimming beach as well as 10 minutes from shopping and restaurants in the other direction! Some people mentioned that the furniture it out of date, it just felt like classic Hawaiian style to me. I won't lie the room had a weird smell but I think it might be from the dampness on Kauai combined with the cleaner used and maybe running the AC. Not sure but it wasn't anything horrible!! Definitely stay here it's a great value the property is beautiful and the room is great!!

Jun 27, 2019The carpet was new and nice, and bed is comfortable. I stay at this resort often and it's in a great location. Slight view of ocean to the left from room, parking lot view to the right. There was a loud humming coming from the floor below. I paid $150 for a cleaning fee so thought that included daily housekeeping but no it did not... so there was no cleaning during my stay unless I wanted to pay an extra charge. The listing also said that the resort fee was included, and I know because I stay there often, that that includes a free shuttle to the airport but private guest cannot use the free shuttle.

Jun 27, 2019Highly recommend. Beautiful resort with pools, beach front, spa and restaurants. Great location to get around Kauai. Parking is high but that is standard in the area. FYI you pay the resort fee but do not get al the resort perks but you’re not missing much there. Definitely book!
Jun 27, 2019Molly's place is logistical bliss, wrapped in watching the waves crash on the ocean while drinking a local beer, with a dash of not too overpowering but still formal hotel experience and service. Plus its Kauai. If there's anything about the place you don't love, you're not trying. On a more serious note: the amenities here are top notch. The wifi, for instance, was fast and reliable enough for me to get work done in between outings. Laundry: check. Bar/restaurant (you don't have to leave the grounds for): check. I am always vaguely concerned when a host is hands-off, but in reality, the KBR staff can and will help you with whatever your dysfunction is and do so with a smile. Don't let this tremendous opportunity pass you by.
Jun 27, 2019Advertised as an apartment, in reality we got a room. 6 days in a room with tiny soap, tiny shampoo, no real cooking facilities. We couldn’t bring our own stuff to poolside because place was a resort hotel not an apartment complex. Bedding stank of old sweat. Cleaners came after being called. They did change all pillows and comforter. Stink went away

Jun 27, 2019My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. Overall, we had a very nice time. The Resort was accurately represented with a very nice pool, helpful concierge and centrally located to many places. The negatives that we found were the sliding doors were extremely loud and rough to close and the walls were very thin so we could hear every movement in the room next door. She does let you know that there isn’t daily cleaning in this room; however, if you’re here for hiking expect to get quite dirty while you’re out. We would’ve found it helpful to have clean towels more often.
Jun 27, 2019The location was less than 5 minutes from the airport. The pools were amazing—I was surprised how much time we spent there! Comfortable conditions and close to restaurants and activities. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone traveling to Kauai.
Jun 27, 2019Our stay went well! The room is pretty much a standard hotel room, which we were aware of. We had three nights and my boyfriend and I were sad to leave the king size bed, coffee maker, pool, and the nearby beach. The location was great and it was the right pricing for us since it was discounted. We would totally stay again.

Jun 27, 2019We stayed 10 nights and it was a comfortable and relaxing vacation. We thought the room was a good size and the amount of towels was sufficient even with all of the activities we did (including multiple days of hiking in mud). We didn't need to do laundry during our stay but it's available at the resort for a fee. Overall, the resort was great. The location, pool and access to the parking lot was awesome. We would definitely stay again especially with the affordable price tag.

Jun 27, 2019We spent a few days at Mollys place and were quite surprised how good it was. We loved to stay in the resort and really liked our room. I never got a personal message from Molly, so I wished to have some communication or at least one message. Otherwise I would definitely go again!

Jun 27, 2019It is not mentioned in the initial advertisement that this room is located in Kauai Beach Resort - which was a beautiful and pleasant surprise but was confusing while trying to find the place. Amazing location and very convenient with 3 restaurants just down stairs, 4 pools, 2 hot tubs and the ocean in sight. Additional fees were not mentioned that you should be cautious of such as $25USD a day to park at the resort (no where else to park), also extra fees for additional towels/toilet paper. Overall beautiful stay, the staff at the resort are incredibly helpful/friendly.
Jun 27, 2019The unit is located in the complex very well. Easy to get everywhere and relaxing to hang out at. Balcony ocean views are a nice touch. Comfortable bed. Quiet area.. except for the roosters. The resort is very friendly. The food served was very good. Tuesday afternoon Hula and music was well done and fun. Happy hours were also great for meeting folks over $7 MaiTais. It's the staff here that will make you want to return. Being North of Lihue worked well too. You can be an hour from most places. Traffic jams up 2 - 5 but you find yourself out of it if you leave at 9. Back in the Hot tub with hot water falling on your smiling face at 3. It's a great location!
Jun 27, 2019Molly's p!ace is very good value for your money. I would have liked to see additional bath towels...we were given 3 to use for our five days there. You can pay for extra if you choose. Parking is an additional $25 per day and I would recommend a car, so that increases the price a bit. You can self-park for the day in the non-valet area for free, but must have a permit for night parking. The king sized bed was comfortable. Thanks Molly for a good time.
