Daniel's apt was in a great location to explore the city. It was close to the Soho area which have bars and lots of nightlife. I would recommend Daniel's place to anyone interested in making the most out of Hong Kong.

Jun 27, 2019Great location, super clean and quite. There is also a door (wo)man in the lobby who is friendly and helpful. Check in and out were more than easy. Would def stay here again. 17 min walk from Hong Kong Station for airport connection. Plenty of nightlife close by in Lan Kwai Fong. It is located in Mid Levels, so...prepare for the steep incline!

Jun 27, 2019Fantastic place with a great location. The unit is located right between Sheung Wan and SoHo with a number of good restaurants on the same street. If you're new to the island or want easy, walkable access to the area around Central, then I highly recommend this place.
Jun 27, 2019Besides the myriad of stairs and steps, the apartment is located within a walking distance to both sights and shopping, as well as to the Central subway station that connects a handful of lines. The apartment was quite big by Hong Kong standards, and everything was clean and tidy on top of that. The stay went smoothly without any problems.
Jun 27, 2019Highly recommend!! Daniel was great at communicating and gave us lots of tips before we arrived. Arriving was very straight forward (although it was surprising when the Doorman asked for our passport!) Daniel very kindly let us check in early - what a star! The place is spacious (for Hong Kong), though if you're planning on cooking you'll likely have to spread out into the living room. Bed is comfy, shower is hot - what more could you want :) If you don't mind walking up lots of steps and steep hills, you can easily see many of the main HK Island sights on foot. If walking isn't your thing, there's plenty of public transport options reasonably close. This place is really slap bang in the middle of things - close to restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarkets, shopping centres. It's a great place to base yourself, particularly if you're only there for a short trip, like were. Warning though: the area is very steep! You'll feel it in your calves :)

Jun 27, 2019This modern apartment is located between Sheng Wan MTR & Central MTR. PMQ mall is across the street & visible through the window. Lots of food & drinks nearby, Lan Kwai Fong included (10 min walk). Although conveniently located, it is quiet as party-goers are found wandering in the streets starting one block away. For a straight-shot to the Sheng Wan station, take a couple long flights of stairs. If you have luggage & want to avoid that, use the Central station (or Uber) but keep in mind it is always very crowded there. Apartment was spacious for Hong Kong standards. Shower pressure was strong & stayed hot through long hair washing. Living room has surround sound system & English channels to watch TV. There's an extra closet room for hanging clothes. Overall, great place to stay as compared to other HK apartments. Also note, not all amenities at Dan's place are for communal use. This was not listed under House Rules nor noted anywhere. I was surprised to receive a note after check-out that an already open beverage was not for share although fridge was listed as an amenity. Through dozens of stays on Airbnb, this was my first experience encountering such an issue. Just use caution here.
