I booked this place for my friend and her family for the first time in Honolulu. They liked the location, very close to beaches and shops and restaurant. But they wonder why they had to take the trashes down after paying the cleaning fees.

Jun 27, 2019친구들과 함께한 청춘여행 8일중 4일을 여기서 지냈는데 가성비 최고의 숙소이다. 호스트인 카즈에씨는 출국 이전부터 세심하게 체크인 시간이며 궁금한 점이 있는지 확인했으며 메세지를 남기면 곧장 답장이왔다. 하와이에 도착하고 약속한 체크인 시간보다 다소 늦었으나 호스트는 진작에 숙소에서 기다리고 있었다.(전반적으로 일관되게 굉장히 친절하게 설명해주고 궁금한 점을 해결해주었다) 이 방은 다소 연식이 있어보이는 아파트 4층에 있으며 유일한 단점은 계단을 이용해야 한다는 것이다.(가벼운 운동한다고 생각하면 무리 없다.) 방으로 들어가니 최근에 인테리어를 해서 그런지 낡은 아파트와는 반대로 다소 깔끔하고 세련된 모습을 하고 있었다. 무엇보다 기대이상으로 깔끔하게 관리되어온 모습이 마음을 굉장히 편하게 만들어 주었다. 호스트가 워낙 꼼꼼한 분이셔서 부족한 것이 하나 없이 구비되어 있던 생활용품이 호텔보다 훨씬 훌륭했다. 이 방에서 4일간 지내면서 가장 큰 장점 두가지를 꼽으라면 깔끔함과 모든 것이 완비되어 있는 것이었다. 총평으로는 굉장히 만족스러웠다. 가성비가 뛰어나다. 특히 친구들끼리 오는 여행객들에게 적극 추천해주고 싶다. For 4days I've spent fabulous time with my friends. The host, Kazue san was very precise, friendly and kind. She double checked our check-in time to be on time and asked us if we have any questions even before we arrive at Hawaii. The room was spacious and extremely clean. Also interior was fancy.(totally different with the exterior of the building) Beds was comfortable enough to solve our tiredness from tight trip schedules and everything in this apartment was well-prepared. The best two advantages of this apartment are cleaness and Well-stocked daily supplies. Thanks to the host for making us feel and live like one of the local Hawaiians. I would defenetly stay in her place again if I have another chance to go to Hawaii!!
Jun 27, 2019Kazue was very accommodating as soon as we got to the location. As soon as we walked in, she gave us a detailed tour of the house and the location. She as well had extra amenities for us to last the whole week, if not extra being provided. Kazue was a great host and anyone wanting a close home by the beach should definitely go ahead with kazue's airbnb. :)

Jun 27, 20191. Great location 2. Enough room for 4 guests with 4 beds 3. Easy to check-in & check-out 4. Easy to park a rent-car with extra pay by US$15 cash a day 5. Bad noise from outside and air conditioners inside 6. Don't expect any views through windows 7. It's good for guests who spend most of their time outside till late night

Jun 27, 2019I went to Honolulu for the Honolulu marathon with my parents and my brother. We stayed at Kazue's place because it is close to the finish line. It turned out to be a convinient location for everything else. We liked our stay and the host Kazue and John were so kind and friendly. We felt very welcoming. We had a good time in Honolulu thanks to Kazue and John. Thank you!
Jun 27, 2019정말 깔끔하고 좋았습니다! 다만 음식을 만드는 레인지가 살짝 열이 부족해서 음식을 빨리빨리 만들지 못했네요, 가족과 가시는 분이나 음식을 사먹지않고 하시는 분이라면 가스레인지를 하나 사시는 걸 추천합니다!
Jun 27, 2019친구들과 2일 동안 편안하게 잘 머물렀어요. 와이키키까지 걸어갈 수 있는 가까운 거리, 별이 잘 보이던 옥상, 산책이나 조깅을 할 수 있던 운하길, 간단한 식사를 할 수 있던 자그마한 주방이 좋았어요. 아쉬웠던 점은 화장실 세면대의 물이 조금씩 나왔고 우리는 4명이었는데 테이블 의자가 3개 밖에 없어서 좀 불편했어요.

Jun 27, 2019Kazue is a good host and very supportive. The location is fine and not too far from the Waikiki beach. This place is recommended for young people who just need a place to sleep and don't care about noise come from the airco or outside. The 4th floor without elevator can be an issue if you do shopping a lot in Honolulu. Thanks Kazue for your support during our stay there!
Jun 27, 2019房子里海滩很近,每天晚上我们都走路去海滩,很方便｡The apt is very close to the beach, every night we walk to the beach, very convenient. Our plane was dalay, but the John has been waiting for us to 1:30 am to open the door, very grateful.

I took my parents and my family to Hawaii for the first time, with little toddler and two family, we were struggling to find a suitable accommodation in the primary location. This place was nice, clean, best location in Waikiki. Short walk to shops, beach and bus stops. I found most of bus go through Kuhio ave, so it's super convinient.

Jun 27, 2019Definitely would stay again on a future Waikiki visit! Spot is as advertised in the photos. Nothing glamorous but very clean, phenomenal location (walking distance to everything), and Kazue (and John) were extremely communicative. Wifi is not extremely strong FYI, had trouble doing high bandwidth work (though worked fine for email, etc).

Jun 27, 2019Overall a good deal for the price. Very conveniently located, only 3 blocks from Waikiki beach. Our host met us at check-in and was very friendly and responsive when we reached out. There are two bedrooms and no living room which made it a little difficult to hang out together. Good if you just need a convenient place to sleep and prepare simple meals. Only electric hot plates were provided, there were no burners on the stove. The kitchen was well stocked enough for light cooking. Bathroom was clean and plenty of towels and toiletries were provided. The wifi was slow but worked for light browsing.

Jun 27, 2019Kazue's place was great! Very modest, but that was just fine - we didn't visit Waikiki to stay inside all day! It is two air-conditioned bedrooms with two single beds in each, and one bathroom at the end of the hallway/kitchenette combination connecting everything. We tried pushing two beds together to make a double, but they were slightly different heights so it didn't work. There is a nice fridge/freezer, and a stovetop if you wanted to do simple cooking in the kitchenette/hallway, although with so many amazing food options within walking distance, we didn't bother. The location is great - walking distance to everything in Waikiki. And the convenience of also being able to rent a parking space helped out tremendously. We rented an affordable car from Turo (use link (Website hidden by Airbnb) for $25 free credit) to explore the island, as Lyft/Uber were surprisingly expensive. I would highly recommend taking advantage of the great parking space and getting a car - Waikiki is one of the many amazing places on Oahu, so give yourself the chance to explore. I would highly recommend this place if your primary goal is a comfortable place to sleep. If you're looking for a luxury resort room, go to the Sheraton. If you're looking for a modest place to sleep each night, this cozy two bedroom with four single beds in the heart of Waikiki is absolutely the perfect place. Thanks for the great experience, Kazue!

Jun 27, 2019Great place. John was easily reachable and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Little touches like the bottle of aloe gel in the fridge were a nice touch. The place was as described. Would book and stay again. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry your stuff up 3 flights of stairs.

Jun 27, 2019Kazue and John's place was nice, clean, and well located. John gave us help getting our substantial amount of luggage upstairs and gave great advice on local attractions. The apartment has a nice terrace area to kick back with a drink after a day of work or relaxation. Additionally it is located extremely close to Waikiki beach park, Diamondhead, and the Hawaii convention center. The central common space doesn't have AC but the rooms have fantastic window units. Check in and check out were a breeze compared to many other Air BnBs I have stayed at since John and Kazue have it down to a science. This place is truly better than advertised.

Jun 27, 2019Kazue and John are amazing hosts! Kazue is very responsive to our queries and really nice, they allowed us to check-in early which we greatly appreciate. John is also exceptional, check-in was so smooth (he helped us with our luggage) and he gave us great advice on Honolulu! Great location (a lot of things are accessible and the place is easy to find) and the area is safe. Great value for your money! I can't wait to be back in Honolulu and stay again in their place.

Jun 27, 2019My family of 4 had a very nice time at this apartment over Christmas/New Years. It's a top-floor corner apt, so it was generally nice and quiet. The AC is a bit loud, but it's fine if you turn it on Low. It's a great place to come home to after a day out exploring the island, but it's a bit small to spend an afternoon there relaxing. There is no living room, and the kitchen/eating space is small. But none of that really mattered to us. We were able to cook a nice egg breakfast every morning, and head out into the the busy Waikiki neighborhood (really crowded!), explore the island, eat dinner out (make reservations! Or try your luck at the Duke's restaurants, some of which don't take reservations), and come back to a quiet apartment. Plenty of hot water, and great water pressure. We loved that there were four separate beds, all comfortable. Our host Joyce was very responsive and attentive.

Flexible check in time, very smooth and easy check-in process. The place is generally good. Convenient location and reasonable price. The neighborhood is a little noisy. The WiFi and cooktop are slow, made it a bit hard for us to do work on computer or cook meals.
Jun 27, 2019Kazue's place was close to Waikiki beach area and the center. If you want a affordable place to stay and eat out some this place was perfect. Also there are two bedrooms so if you want some privacy its nice too. Enough kitchenware as well to cook easy meals! Cons were, you can hear the next door neighbor if the windows are open, wifi was poor and slow. Three people using internet for work or personal reasons was stressful.
Jun 27, 2019Such a good location for a stay in Waikiki! Pretty basic but has everything you need and the beds were relatively comfortable too :) the bedrooms don’t currently have curtains which was our main issue, but other than that it was a great stay!
