L'appartement est idéalement situé avec une vue à couper le souffle. Il a été décoré avec beaucoup de goût et on s'y sent comme chez soi. Madame Margarita qui a fait le lien avec Chronis est vraiment très sympathique et nous a aidé. Le seul bémol : les coupures d'électricité et d'eau plusieurs fois par jour dans plusieurs quartiers de la ville et qui ont aussi touché l'appartement.

Jun 27, 2019Chronis's apartment is absolutely delightful with magnificent views over the Golden Horn. It is in easy reach of public transport although we walked to all the major sites and enjoyed the atmosphere of Istanbul. There are loads of great restaurants close by and we found the local ahopkeepers really friendly. I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Jun 27, 2019The apartment is well located for easy access to tourist sites, shopping and transport. It is spacious, well-appointed and immaculately clean. It has a stunning view (over terra-cotta rooftops, the waterways and skyline of fantastic mosques) with beautiful furniture and a marble bathroom. All communication with the host was timely with clear information and support. I would definite stay here on any future visits.
Jun 27, 2019Where to start? The location? The cozy neighborhood? The carefully and tastefully decorated apartment with all you need to feel at home? The view? Morning, afternoon, evening, late at night ... I couldn't get enough of it!!!! If you want to get a glimpse of the beauty of Istanbul then welcome to the most amazing settings. Fully equipped Kitchen ... believe me it's worth it when you have fresh ingredients at the corner store (open 24/7 and they speak Farsi and English) Restaurants, bars, shops, coffee, tea, buses, metro… everything is literally seconds or minutes away walking from the apartment. Chronis has been fantastic at coordinating everything, from checking to checkout to perfection, to coordinating with Margarita in Istanbul (by the way she is a Gem)... This is what I call Hosting! I would not wish to stay anywhere else in Istanbul for the rest of my life!
Jun 27, 2019Beautiful appartment but... 1) Frequent water shortage. Something which Chronis did not mention beforehand. When we brought to his attention, he says that "this is a usual Istanbul problem. It's not my house problem". A great way to wash his hands off the situation in my opinion. 2) Cancellation and refunds will not be entertained. Initially, we wanted to change the dates but his appartment was not available on those dates. We had asked if we could get a refund since it's not available but he did not respond. So we went with the initial dates. Second time we asked for a refund was after the water shortage incident. We didn't stay throughout, and had 6 nights remaining. Once again we asked for a refund but he did not respond. If you're ok to infrequent water supply and a host that does not respond to refund then the appartment will suit you just fine.
Jun 27, 2019Very spacious and quiet. Excellent view from the large window in living room. Good kitchen amenities. Very clean except for a bit dusty floors for barefoot walking. Wifi worked very well. About 200m walking to a bus stop where many buses pass by. Another 100m lead to a popular commercial street where there are a lot of shops and restaurants. Downstairs is a store for basic groceries but sophisticated groceries were nowhere around. Host's unwillingness to supply toilet paper in addition to a small leftover caused some inconvenience as it was not easy to buy a single roll. We have not met Chronis but communicated often with the caretaking lady who was nice and responsive. Overall the 4 of us had a very good stay of 8 days. I especially enjoyed reading the book about the history of Byzantium on the shelf -- many thanks for providing.

Jun 27, 2019what makes a place great in the first place, is the owners mood and hospitality. Chronis and Margarita were always there for any question or suggestion even when offering a late check out. the apartment is for sure better than the photos, nothing will deceive u. clean and modern and the space with this panoramic view overlooking the Bosphorus, bridges and old istanbul make it hard for u to leave home. it is a super place to relax and had a cool vacation and to do some work as well as the internet connection is super. the neighborhood is safe and just few steps from the main road where any uber can be late more than 3 min... its 4 min walking from Galata Serai School in Istiklal for sure i will be visiting again

Jun 27, 2019Do you want to have one of the best views in Istanbul while enjoying a glass of "cay" (turkish tea)? Is good communication to your host and a warm welcome important to you? Ever wanted to stay in an amazingly designed, old Istanbul-apartment? Then you found your location to stay! My friend and I, both of turkish decent, stayed in this apartment for a week during March (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Two days before our flight to Istanbuk, Chronis contacted us and gave us thorough information on address and what we should be careful about, like not being too loud with music for the sake of the neighbors. Furthermore he told us, that his assistant Ms. Margarita will welcome us at our arrival, since he was not in Istanbul during that time. He gave us Ms. Margaritas and his phonenumer to contact them upon arrival via phone or (Hidden by Airbnb) Messenger. After our arrival we contacted Ms. Margarita on (Hidden by Airbnb) and told her our approximate time of arrival in front of the apartment. She responded quickly. Upon arrival at the apartment we rang the bell of the flat, which Chronis told us in before and were quickly welcomed by Ms. Margarita. She gave us a very friendly and warm welcome and informed us on everything important about the flat. She had only prepared one bed in the big bedroom, since she assumed we'd be a couple. After having told her, that we need two seperate beds, the quickly prepared the second bed in the small bedroom, without any hesitation. Furthermore she informed us about possible issues like water failures, which is normal in Istanbul during this season, because of heavy rains and a bad water infrastructure. She even prepared water canisters in case, so that we could still finish the shower or use the toilet. Because it was already very late when we arrived, we agreed on asking further questions via phone or (Hidden by Airbnb) . The following days, she wrote us on (Hidden by Airbnb) to check if everything's ok. During our stay we made mostly good experiences with the flat. The most mentionable ones are the following: 1) The bed in the big bedroom is very comfy. 2) There are lots of fresh towels and duvet covers in case that you like to change very frequently. 3) The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for a decent meal. The stove is new and there is a dishwasher, if you like to use one. 4) The view from the living room is AMAZING! I doubt, you can find many other apartments with such a nice view in central Istanbul. 5) The water actually never failed ;) There were also some SMALLER points, which could improve. The most important ones: 1) The bed in the smaller bedroom is directy next to the radiator, which can make sleeping there during the cold season very hot. If you shut off the heating, the floor and flat itself can get quite cold, since it's an old building with wood battens. 2)...

Epic view with massive glass windows. Very comfy bed. Nice desk if you have any work to do. Bathroom is very small but practical enough. Thanks for a great place to stay in wonderful Istanbul!

Jun 27, 2019Die Wohnung ist ideal gelegen Anschluss zu vielen Buslinien und nicht weit von der Istiklal Caddesi. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön, die Wohnung komfortable eingerichtet, man fühlt sich sehr wohl darin. Der Supermarkt vi-à-vis hat immer offen, was sehr praktisch ist. Margarita ist sehr nett, hilft, und gibt einem Tipps, falls danach verlangt wird.

Jun 27, 2019Chronis is a great host. I arrived very late in the evening and he facilitated check-in with no problems. Margarita, the caretaker of the flat, was extremely helpful and available via (Hidden by Airbnb) for any questions or advice. I would happily stay in Chronis' lovely flat again (the flat is located in a quiet neighbourhood but only a 10 minute walk from Istiklal street, Galatasaray and other central neighbourhoods).
Jun 27, 2019This apartment was absolutely incredible, wonderfully spacious, great style and the view was unbelievably beautiful. The location was great too and we walked most places. The only slight problem was there is not even a fan to keep cool so it's not ideal for light sleepers as windows have to be open and those prone to mosquito bites better watch out! Having said that, it was still one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in.

Jun 27, 2019The view of this flat is breathtaking. The pictures can't really show the beauty of it, you have to be there to grasp it. It is very well located and loads of Istanbul attractions are easily eccessible by foot or by public transportation. Across from the flat there is a groceries store, a dry cleaner and a Kebap shop, which come very handy for us. Margarita (the lady in charge at the location) is very kind. She speaks English and was very eager to help. The interior design is very cousy and individualistic, however not too personal so we felt immediately at home. There are so many beautiful objects and pictures there, which expand the spirit of the incredible city of Istanbul to the home environment. I definitely recommend it and would go back there whenever I am in Istanbul.

Jun 27, 2019L'appartamento è semplicemente fantastico. La posizione è ottima, collegata bene con i mezzi pubblici e vicina alla Istiklal Caddesi e Taksim. L'assenza dell'ascensore è ripagata da una vista mozzafiato sul quartiere, sul Corno d'Oro e sulle sagome delle moschee all'orizzonte. Gli spazi sono grandi, comodi e luminosi, mentra l'arredamento è minimale ma elegante. Margarita è stata molto gentile nell'accoglierci e disponibile per ogni consiglio o informazione. Davvero consigliato.
Jun 27, 2019Chronis’s Apartment is most amazing one in the AirBnB because fantastic view of Golden Horn, perfect location that very close to İstiklal Street, comfortable design for guests and professional house keeping services by Margarita. Street was very silent to take a rest and good sleeping at night although close to attractive places. We felt like a month although stayed 9 nights only. We loved the apartment and take our time to have coffee in front of window to look perfect panaroma and listen cool music. If you like to enjoy your time, this apartment is definitely for you...
