The Apartment is located in the Downtown of the city, near the important monuments and interesting points that you can visit by walking. The center of all the everyday bustle is Santa Catarina street, where you can find the older and typical coffees shops and pastries from Porto, such as the café Majestic, also the old bookstores that healthily coexist with large and modern libraries. Theatres and show halls like the Rivoli Theatre, Coliseu do Porto or São João National Theatre are also in downtown. Downtown - Baixa - is also known for the significant number of nightlife establishments, bars and cafés, in various restaurants from the most traditional to the more sophisticated. There is also a great number of alternative and specialized small shops, especially for art, gourmet, design, sewing, bookstores and antique shops.

Stayed in Edgar's place for 5 days. Great location, super clean, perfect location for walking everywhere and exploring the city. The apartment itself is really amazing, the photos definitely don't do it justice!
Jun 27, 2019We really enjoyed the flat. It is very well equipped, well located and completely conform to pictures. Perfect for the long weekend we spent in Porto. Only negative aspect was a really poor soundproofing, but as we stayed mostly outside, it was not such a problem for us. Very much appreciated all attentions among others, a bottle of wine, bath towels... Another positive thing is the supermarket next door :)

Edgar set up a ride for us from the airport to the apartment, and also had a concierge member waiting at the front door to explain the apartment and surrounding area. Also, Edgar had a very quick response time. He answered all questions within minutes. The apartment itself is very modern and has great personality. The back "garden" is secluded and is a nice area to have a morning coffee. There is minimal street/neighborhood noise. All-in-all, the entire experience surpassed my expectations, and I would highly recommend this as a great Porto location!

The location is convienient and close to shops and market, and within walking distance to major attractions. Communication with the host was easy. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay in Porto!
Jun 27, 2019This apartment is probably the best AirBnB we have stayed in so far. It is in a fantastic location and was very easy to find. The apartment has recently been renovated and has all the essentials you need. We cooked in the apartment for 2 evenings and the kitchen had everything we required. The outdoor balcony is a beautiful quiet spot where you can sit back and enjoy a glass of wine after a day of sightseeing. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone. We loved (Website hidden by Airbnb) we hope to be back again.

The apartment is just beautiful, the photos do not do it justice! Spacious, lovely afternoon light, calm even though it is in the centre. We are definitely keeping this on our list for future visits to Porto. Highly recommend!
Jun 27, 2019The flat looks brand new and modern, better than in pictures. Everything was very clean and we had a pleasant stay. The flat is fully equipped with modern appliances, including a dish-washing machine. Also, the coffee machine was very useful in the morning. The led lightning provided a cozy atmosphere. Although it's on a main street, 5-10 minutes of walking from the main train station, it's not facing the street and it's very quiet. There are some sources of noise for sensible ears: - the early morning resupply of the down stairs supermarket (rather annoying) - the building is not soundproofed and one can hear some noise from other flats (in our experience it was very limited)

Jun 27, 2019I honestly would not recommend booking this apartment to any friend of mine. The flat is beautiful and location very good, but the treatment received does not correspond at all with the quality of accommodation. We were waiting for 40 minutes on our arrival without answering our calls. When we finally went in the apartment was still uncleaned and was not ready until 7pm. When we finally arrived to the flat and it was prepared, the cleanliness left much to be desired. We understand that failures can be anywhere, but Vania, the girl in charge of managing the property did not inform us of anything and when she finally picked up the phone his response was curt and inconsiderate. This unpleasant reception made our arrival in Oporto quite bitter. This level of zero communication is maintained throughout our stay, when we asked if we could leave more than one hour our bags the day of departure (because the apartment had been ready 5 hours later the official checkin it was the minimum) Vania an hour later, curtly he replied that it was not possible ... Anyway, hosts nothing professional at all times. Very bad
Jun 27, 2019We loved this apartment. It is right next to the old market square in a most central location to get around the entire city. There are plenty of shops, eateries, taxi stands nearby. We were greeted on time right as the apartment finished getting cleaned. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back the next time we swing through Porto!

Jun 27, 2019I have to say, we've stayed in many Airbnbs, and this has to be one of our favorites so far. We loved the layout, design, location, and price. The apartment is very close to the train station, so it was very easy to get to. Once we arrived, we were greeted very promptly and courteously. The apartment is AMAZING! The pictures are exactly what you get. We would DEFINITELY recommend this place to other people.

Jun 27, 2019Awesome apartment right across from the Bolhao market in Porto. Probably the nicest Airbnb apartment I've ever stayed in, in terms of roominess and amenities. WiFi worked great, bathroom was big and roomy, even the shower was big, which is unusual for European apartments.

Jun 27, 2019Perfect location right in front of the Bolhao Market and near the metro station. We did everything by feet from the apartment wich is really nice. The appartment looks like in the pictures and is very well furnish with everything you might need. The small terrasse is just perfect to enjoy the outside - a grocery store is located right down the building if you want to eat at "home". The place is all quiet since windows are not on the streets side - Our stay was perfect to enjoy Porto.

Jun 27, 2019The flat is ideally located in the city center, in an old building full of charm. Very clean, very functional, calm (windows/terrace give on the roofs, not the busy road), decorated with taste. Our contact Edgar has been very reactive and flexible during the whole booking process. The only thing to consider is that the fridge in the open kitchen is extremely loud, so if you plan on sleeping on the couch, don't forget to foresee earplugs. Also on the first evening we only had hot water for 3 minutes, probably the cleaning lady used it all to clean the flat in the afternoon...

It is perfectly situated to get around the city, and also literally right next door to the supermarket. Jun 27, 2019My husband and I had a wonderful 3 night stay here. The flat was very conveniently located and close to the Balhoa metro station, which made it easy to come in from the airport by metro. The flat was so fun and quirky, I loved the decor. It has everything you might need as far as the kitchen goes, although we personally didn't use any of it because we were enjoying eating out! Check in and check out was very easy. Overall, I would highly recommend this place!

Jun 27, 2019wir fanden es toll in der Wohnung. Wir wurden schon mit einer Flasche Wein begrüßt. Die Wohnung ist wirklich sehr schön und hochwertig eingerichtet, selbst die Details sind gut durchdacht und gestaltet. Die Lage der Wohnung ist hervorragend. Man kann von dort wirklich alle interessanten Dinge zu Fuß erkunden. Die Wohnung war viel leiser als erwartet. Lediglich die Rufe der Möwen drangen in morgens in unsere Träume und ließen uns spüren, dass wir am Meer sind. Einziger Nachteil der Wohnung ist, dass die Wohnung nach hinten raus geht und der Blick nur auf ein hässliches Wellplattendach stößt. Aber darauf war ja mit den Fotos eindeutig hingewiesen worden. Dafür ist der Balkon aber groß, schön mit Wein berankt und wunderbar leise. Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen.

It's fully equipped and has fantastic high ceilings, great location, very clean etc. Although, we had to wait outside the apartment for an hour, even though we had arranged a time. Check-in wasn't very good, minimal information on restaurant recommendations etc and the shower barely had any hot water, which is fine in the summer, but not when it's rainy/windy.

Jun 27, 2019Un logement parfait ! Nous sommes venues en juin dernier avec trois amis; l'appartement est très bien situé, nous avons pu tout faire à pied sans encombres. Dans l'appartement, toute les commodités sont présentes et même plus : tous les ustensiles de cuisine possibles, du vin offert, beaucoup de dosettes de café en avance, savon etc. Un Air BNB professionnel haut de gamme selon moi ! De plus l'homme qui nous a accueilli était très aimable et nous a donné de nombreux conseils pour notre visite, et avec le sourire. Je recommande fortement cet appartement :)

Jun 27, 2019Beautiful apartment! Even better than the photos and one of the nicest we've ever stayed in. Clean, spacious, and well-appointed. Terrace is very nice too. Location is good, 5-10 minute walk to Porto's central restaurants and attractions. Highly recommended. We opted to pick up the key at the Porto Concierge office since we were unsure of our arrival time. The office was about a 15 minute drive from the apartment and could have been more hospitable. Communication could also have been better. Despite receiving several long emails before arrival, two responses with direct questions went unanswered. Everything worked out in the end, but there's a little room for improvement!

Jun 27, 2019This apartment is really lovely, spacious, comfortable, very clean and the location is perfect - close to all the sites yet peaceful and quiet at night. The check in was bumpy however, with the representative arriving an hour late. As well, though the apartment advertised air conditioning, the units were either locked or disabled and the apartment was quite hot. We called the main office and emailed the host to request the air conditioning be restored, but we received no response. We would highly recommend the apartment if these small but important issues were addressed.

Jun 27, 2019This apartment in Porto is awesome! The location is wonderful for exploring the city, just a 5-10 minutes walk to the city center. It's right near tons of cafes, restaurants and shopping. The hosts were very helpful in terms of having us check in at the office because we were arriving later in the evening (they are open until midnight), and even left us a bottle of wine at the place. Would highly recommend this place. The only thing that was a challenge for us was parking. We ended up having to leave our car in a lot for the days we were in Porto, so factor that into your costs if you have a car.

I had tried to reach our hosts but hadn't received a response until we were leaving and someone had showed up unannounced to help us.

Jun 27, 2019This apartment is as lovely in reality as on the pics, with a very well equipped kitchen (we especially loved that it had a dishwasher!). I had read a couple of 'issues' from previous guests about hot water and air conditioning but everything was in great working order when we stayed. It's in a great location - close to good restaurants but has two mini supermarkets almost on the doorstep for people who wish to self-cater. We had a great stay!
Jun 27, 2019The apartment is exactly as described and in the photos. Beautifully decorated and place is maintained very well. Apartment was clean upon arrival. Porto Concierge is very well run, super fast response times to any inquiries. I didn't have any issues while I was there but would have felt confident that this team would have handled any situation well. Location is about a 10-15 min walk to the center of the city and easy to get to. Neighborhood has two supermarkets on the same block and is super quiet. Would definitely stay again next time in Porto and will be recommending to friends!

Jun 27, 2019The place is cute and conveniently located but when the sink broke I️ let them know immediately and followed up almost daily and was given the run around and told someone else was looking into I️t. I️t was difficult to figure out who was in charge and who was supposed to help and ultimately we were there for a week with no bathroom sink.

Jun 27, 2019마트가 바로 아래라 장보기도 편하고 주변에 맛집이 많아요. 방은 3인용으로 설명되어있었으나 샤워는 따뜻한 물이 잘 안나와서 씻는게 너무 불편했어요. 2명이 씻기에도 부족한 온수... 그리고 8일 숙박했는데 세탁기가 있긴하지만 1인당 수건을 2장만 주는건 좀 아닌듯. 하지만 방은 넓고 난방도 잘됩니다. 배수구와 방문에 문제가 있어서 직원이 여러번 오고갔네요. 빨리 해결해주셨습니다. 개인호스트가 아니고 회사에서 운영한다는점도 참고하세요.
Jun 27, 2019Sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung in zentraler Lage. Sie ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Fotos entsprechen der Wirklichkeit. Zu Fuß lassen sich die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten leicht erreichen. Außerdem ist die Metro nah und auch sämtliche Busse. Wir würden die Wohnung sofort wieder buchen.
Jun 27, 2019Stylish renewed apartment, we have 2 kids and we had an enjoyable stay with all required "tools" for kids: baby crib, high chair, kitchenware to keep the food routine etc. The location is great, supermarkets 1 door away, walk distance for shopping and metro station.

Jun 27, 2019A fab apartment in a great location. The apartment had everything we needed and we were able to walk from there to everywhere we wanted to go. The hot water didn’t last long so brisk showers is a must in the morning.

Jun 27, 2019Very nice & comfortable appartment in Porto, very close to Bolhao subway Every places reachable walking, very quite place as not directly on the street (appart from delivery of the food store just behind once every 2 days at 6am). Lots of advices given when entering the appartement + a bottle of wine. Would definitely recommend it

Jun 27, 2019Appartement au calme, situé sur l’arrière! Très jolie terrasse ombragée et l’appartement très propre et bien équipé. Celui-ci est très bien situé!! Nous avons été très bien reçu, Edgar est arrangeant! Nous recommandons vivement cette appartement.
Jun 27, 2019This is centralized location with many things to do within walking distance. The kitchen is very well appointed and you have access to a washing machine. If you are a light sleeper it may be a challenge for you in the early morning hours. Also, the bed is very firm if you are able bring your own towels.

Jun 27, 2019This is a beautiful, centrally located apartment. With two supermarkets downstairs you are able to get supplies in if you like to cook. Well within walking distance of the metro - so easy to get to. We loved the Terrace too. Overall a lovely apartment to stay in on your visit to Porto.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment was really nice, bigger than it appears in the photos, and is a great location. The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 was because the shower only has enough hot water for one 2-4 minute shower before it would go freezing cold. We asked on day two if they could fix it (our 1 year old had the stomach flu the previous night and we were not able to shower him more than once because of no hot water) and were told they would look into it but never received a response beyond that. The mattress was also quite firm. But apart from those two things it was a fabulous space, very modern and well decorated, with everything you would want and need from a stay in Porto.

Jun 27, 2019This apartment is exactly as the pictures show, if not better as is actually bigger than we expected! The most beautiful and stylish apartment and we loved our time here. The apartment is so close to everything, easily within walking distance of less than 30 mins to most major sights and down to the river. There are multiple supermarkets on the same street which is extremely helpful. The air con is fully functioning which was amazing during the hot spells. The apartment is also so quiet and peaceful which was shocking considering how central it is. Also just round the corner from a major metro station and bus stops which was extremely useful. Check-in process was very easy and convenient considering we arrived late at night and were delayed at the airport! The team also provide amazing insights into the city and give ideas on where to visit and when. Overall amazing experience, could not recommend more and would 100% return in the future!

Jun 27, 2019Edgar and his colleagues were great hosts. The check-in was very easy and they respond very fast, as we had a delay with our fly - no problem at all. Rui, who welcomed us in the apartment had a lot of good recommendations regarding food, drinks, sightseeing and other activities with children. The aparment was clean and in a nice design, located in the middle of Porto. We had a great trip and can highly recommend this Apartment - you won't regret it!
Jun 27, 2019This is a great space with an excellent location to the market (temporarily moved until 2020) and restaurants. An easy walk down to the Ribeira area. Washer/dryer conveniently located outside on the patio. If you are in the area, I would recommend eating at the family-run Bulha down the road.

Jun 27, 2019A really well appointed apartment that had everything we needed. It’s ideally situated for all the sights of Porto, just a short stroll to the shops & the river. It’s easy to get to if you travel from the airport via the metro. It’s worth mentioning that The apartment is up a couple of flights of stairs but to be fair Porto is very hilly so they shouldn’t be a problem. The service from Edgar’s place was great, lots of information on extra trips you could book & arriving & departure from the apartment. We will be recommending Edgar’s to our friends.
Jun 27, 2019Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral und verfügt über einen Balkon, wir haben diesen zwar nicht wirklich genutzt, da wir uns hauptsächlich die Stadt angeguckt haben. Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiter empfehlen.

Jun 27, 2019房間很大很乾淨,挑高的空間住起來相當舒服,浴室很大且明亮,最棒的是廚房各種用具應有盡有(鍋碗瓢盆､微波爐､烤箱､冰箱､各種餐具(甚至有筷子!)),附近就有超市,可以自己準備早晚餐｡ 雖然沒有電梯,但房間在二樓而已,樓梯也很寬大,上下行李不會太吃力｡ 重點是價格非常實惠,是很超值的住宿點,下次有機會來還會想再住的地方｡

Jun 27, 2019We had an incredible time staying at this flat. It was truly beautiful as well as being centrally located, within easy reach of public transport and all the attractions. Fabio checked us in and spent time sharing his local knowledge with us which meant we ate amazing food in local restaurants and knew what to do and where to visit. We would definitely recommend staying.

Jun 27, 2019It's a very stylish and cozy apartment, and location is very good! You'll be near Santa Catarina with its tons of commerce! As soon as you get inside you'll be in almost complete silence. There's a supermarket nextdoor and you'll be less than 10min walk away from Aliados. It's very hard to park your car at the door to unload your luggage and everywhere is paid parking. You'll find a couple of 24/7 parking silos around with up to 16€/day.
