Raygs and Camila are simply wonderful. From the time I booked, they were in regular communication and offered to help every step of the way, including arranging a private car service to/from airport. If I had any questions about the room, they would return message right away. The apt is located in a very well situation place, only about 10 min walk to Copacabana and 5 min walk to Ipanema. The busy Genenral Osorio metro stop's exit D is literally at the doorstep of the apt. There's just so many things to do in this neighborhood. Everything is walking distance, there are restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and shops galore. It is also a safe neighborhood and you always see locals walking around. Note, do your part and be alert - don't walk around displaying expensive gear or wander into unknown neighborhoods. The Inside is compact and makes very efficient use of space, suitable for 1 or 2 people to stay comfortably. The unit has recently been completed gutted and renovated. As such, the it is spic and span clean and everything was brand spanking new. EVERYTHING. The amenities are wonderful - the room has modern fixtures and furniture, rain shower (so nice!!) with mood lighting, a small but functional kitchenette with a small fridge, water filteration machine for drinking water, Nespresso machine, microwave, oven, pots + pan, glass, bowls, plates, cuttery and silverware. Leave everything at home b/c you will not need it! There's even a combo washer/dryer machine. There is a flatscreen TV with cable and there's even a bluetooth enabled Harmon Kardon speaker system. It is LOUD and BASSY (keep your neighbors in mind lol). The bed is a pullout bed that will comfortably sleep two adults. It's not a cheap, creaky mattress but very supportive and a bit on the firm side (which I like). There's also a small vacuum cleaner if you're like me and like to keep the floor debri-free. I would not hesitate to stay here again. It is not beachside like one may first look for but the convenience of being right next to a subway stop, a busy neighborhood that's right in the middle of two very famous beaches is insanely nice. It's not just the beach however; the beautiful lake, Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas (aka "Lagoa") is also nearby and I went for running there around the track. Lastly, special thanks to Raygs and Camila for making me feel so welcomed during the Olympic games and being so helpful at all times. They are extremely friendly, attentive, responsive, and responsible. Obrigado and until next time!
Jun 27, 2019Nossa estadia no loft foi excelente ! Primeiramente o loft é decorado e cuidado com extrema atenção aos detalhes. Nos surpreendeu como tudo foi pensado para dar uma experiencia diferenciada para o hóspede. Como muitos predios em Copacabana, o edíficio é antigo, mas o loft encanta pelo padrão muito superior. Dificil dizer o que é melhor, o som alta fidelidade, o chuveiro de alta pressão, o wifi de alta velocidade, colchao especial, a roupa de cama, talheres, fechadura eletronica, tudo funciona e de altíssima qualidade. A localização é muito conveniente, em frente a estaçao do metro, e para nós que fomos para Olimpiada, perfeito. Entre Copacabana e Ipanema, então não precisa ser dito muito sobre isso. Agora, o que foi realmente diferencial foi a atenção que o Raygs e Camila deram antes, durante e depois. Eles não se limitam a alugar o espaço tão bem cuidado, fazem questão que a experiencia toda seja legal, e foi, muito. O Rio é um lugar especial, e vocês fazem que os hóspedes se sintam em casa. Jun 27, 2019Sem palavras para expressar o quanto fui surpreendido positivamente em todos os aspectos da minha estádia. O loft é simplesmente perfeito, lindo, pensado em cada detalhe cuidadosamente, todos os equipamentos novos exatamente igual as fotos, o prédio é um tanto antigo e os elevadores deixaram um pouco a desejar, mas está localizado em um lugar super estratégico, com estação de metrô na porta e próximo das praias. O Raygs foi extreeeeeeeemamente atencioso e nos surpreendeu com todos os mimos. Super Recomendo e voltarei mais vezes com toda certeza. Obrigado.

O Raygs foi muito atencioso o tempo todo, dando muitas dicas de passeios, bares e (Website hidden by Airbnb) certeza, recomendo o apartamento do Raygs e certamente quando retornar ao Rio, gostaria de me hospedar novamente nele.

O loft fica em uma ótima localização, entre Copacabana e Ipanema, pertinho do mar e da lagoa. O Raygs é super prestativo e atencioso. Enfim, altamente recomendada a hospedagem para aproveitar tudo que o RJ tem de bom.
Jun 27, 2019The Loft was AMAZING! This was my first experience in Copacabana/Ipanema/Rio! Raygs and Camila went above and beyond welcoming me and making this experience flawless! They started out by giving me information on local sites, a recommended itinerary, and video instructions on the loft and its amenities. While I embarked on my 4 days in Rio I utilized many of the recommendations including the places to eat, the driver for pick up @ the airport and getting to activities, and the referral for paragliding (a must do)! Their help on this last minute paragliding was unforgettable and made the experience truly epic! I appreciated being introduced to the neighbor who was so helpful and gave all the information I needed to use the washer, fan, dryer, Bluetooth connections etc! I loved the sound system! I was thankful for the USB ports and the US plugins! Was able to charge all my devices without any problems! The water filter was nice and the Nespresso machine was easy to use! They even had welcome snacks! I ate them all! I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during my 4 days in Brazil! The communication was excellent and I had no problems coming or going and navigating the area! Uber and Taxis are easy to use (we used Uber almost all the time) and they come right away! This is a safe neighborhood and I loved the cultural experience right when you enter the streets! My friends who were also staying in the area loved my place and said they would definitely stay there next time they come to visit Rio! If you are looking for a centralized location in this area - book this place! You won’t regret it! Raygs and Camila are AWESOME!

Jun 27, 2019Raygs was amazing. The apartment is very clean, excelent neiborhood and had all amenities. Thanks for the extra beers, Nespressos and soap. I just would like to highlight that the carpet near by the bed (was my falt that I did not noticed before). I am allergic and this was an issue to me (besides the place was super clean). Overall a great experience. Thanks!

Jun 27, 2019A estadia com o Raygs foi simplesmente espetacular. Desde as solicitações pré check-in até o Check Out. Tudo incrível. O loft consegue ser ainda melhor do que nas fotos . Eu e meu noivo nos sentimos em casa, tamanho aconchego. Há vários mimos para o hóspede, coisa que até então só havia visto antes com outro anfitrião. Absolutamente tudo é de extremo bom gosto, qualidade e modernidade. O deslocamento é o mais fácil possível. Utilizamos muito a plataforma e sem medo de errar é um se não o melhor Airbnb que já nos hospedamos.
Jun 27, 2019Wir buchten die Unterkunft ab dem nächsten Tag erst spät abends, und haben bis zum nächsten Mittag kurz vorher der Check in Zeit nichts von dem Gastgeber gehört. Erst nachdem ich ihn zweifach angeschrieben habe. Nachdem wir aber dann via Self-check in im Apartment waren, verlief die Kommunikation wunderbar. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sogar verlängert. Für zwei Personen war das Apartment groß genug, zu viert wäre es mir persönlich zu klein, außer vielleicht für einen kurzen Wochenendtrip. Das wifi funktioniert sehr gut. Die Lage war für uns sehr gut. Alles weitere war mit Uber zu erreichen, was ich absolut empfehlen würde, da die Fahrer bewertet und die Fahrt getrackt wird. Das gibt einem ein wenig Sicherheit. Ich kann es nur empfehlen, tatsächlich so gut wie nichts beispielsweise mit an den Strand zu nehmen. Uns wurden die Flipflops gestohlen, während wir daneben lagen :-/ Aber ich finde die Stadt beeindruckend und ich habe selten in Südamerika so gut gegessen wie in Rio. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
Jul 27, 2019Experiência muito superior ao que imaginava. O host é incrivelmente interessado em deixar sua estadia a mais confortável possível. Recebemos dicas da cidade, um guia para utilizar melhor o loft.. que é um espetáculo à parte. Limpo, moderno e aconchegante, lencois e toalhas brancas cheirosas, sistema de som e tv completo, o banheiro é modernissimo com sistema que muda as cores por um app.. a localização não poderia ser melhor: no final de uma ruazinha residencial mas com uma entrada literalmente em frente ao condominio para a Estacao General Osorio. Fica prox da praia, de bares, da pra andar á pé.. voltarei mais vezes certamente! Melhor host e melhor loft que fiquei no rio!

Certamente voltarei. Obrigado pela estadia Raygs, que me deixou ficar um pouco mais de horas no checkout já que não tinha hóspede pro dia!!!
Jun 27, 2019A estadia superou todas as minhas expectativas, o apartamento é maravilhoso, aconchegante e bem localizado. A moça do apartamento da frente está frequentemente a disposição e é muito prestativa. A localização é maravilhosa, ficando apenas a 5 minutos a pé da praia de Copacabana e literalmente na porta de uma estação de Metrô. Literalmente o meu único problema foi que o apartamento era tão confortável que eu não tinha vontade de sair dele.

Jun 27, 2019If you like style, this cosy loft/apartment is perfect especially for the price, I was very impressed with it. The beach is 10 minutes away, all the shops and restaurants are very close by also! Raygs was incredibly responsive to any requests! Thank you!
Jun 27, 2019this place would have received 5 stars from me. but unfortunately I could only leave 3. here was what went wrong. there was a bug infestation in the bathroom shower the first 2 nights when we arrived. we closed all windows but at night there were HUNDREDS of flies. after 2 nights of contacting the host and sending him photos he finally sent someone over to fix this and kill and clean all the bugs. bugs have bacteria and diseases and this was not sanitary. 2nd issue, the toilet seat was old and looked dirty with stains. gross. the host replaced the new seat the next morning. 3rd thing, the walls look used with stains and marks everywhere. it looked like this place was not kept and maintained well for over a year. the host said he would repaint when we left. for all those issues, we would have booked a 4 star hotel for the same price with included breakfast. we felt completely ripped off. he didn't even offer a partial refund for these issues. here is what was good about the place. check in was easy, and the location is decent. the host is very responsive and fixed most of the issues as best he could . a partial refund would have been appreciated. I am a host myself and whenever an issue arises I always provide partial refund to my guests.

Impossível dar destaques, porque teria que listar todos os itens disponíveis, que são espetaculares. Voltarei muitas vezes!!!

Over the past 5 years I’ve rented several apartments in Ipanema and Copacabana and had a wonderful time in all of them, but Raygs’ apartment went beyond my expectations in many ways. The location is great for those wanting to enjoy both Ipanema and Copa! The apartment is modern with everything you need and beyond. The shower was a nice surprise with a strong flow of water for a nice comfortable shower after the beach. The kitchen is compact but thoughtfully designed to hold everything you need. There is a nespresso machine which I appreciated very much! There is also a water purifying system that delivers ice cold water so there is no need for buying bottled waters and polluting the environment. Bed and pillows were comfy and super clean! WiFi was powerful which makes life easier for those traveling on roaming phones. As for the host, Raygs was incredible and very accommodating. He communicated well and made sure I was comfortable and had an open line of communication with him for whatever I needed. That makes a huge difference for travelers, especially the ones traveling from abroad and may need a bit more help. Thank you Raygs for a great stay.

Cama boa, cozinha eficiente, tudo limpo, banheiro ótimo! Consegui um check in antecipado por ter chegado cedo ao Rio de Janeiro e isso foi de extrema importância para nós.
