Poble sec is a very old neighborhood located een the center of Barcelona, the district has endless cafes and tapas bars i wine .. and supermarkets open 12 hours a day ... We are very close to all attractions in Barcelona but in a very quiet spot, perfect for relaxing ...

the apartment is very quiet full of good energy ... is really an oasis city in total silence. well as from the 2 rooms you can see the blue sky ... the terrace is wonderful to be rest and relax as well as to take wine glasses ... even have a wonderful outdoor shower to soak in summer parking have a extra cost of only 16 euros a day, will be pay at the check in time HUTB-006857

Great apartments, new and clean. Nice terrace, everything you need is there, located in the quiet area with a lot of good restaurants and bars round the corner. Metro is 5 minutes walk, beach is 20 mins walk.

Nice bedroom, well functioning bathroom with bathtub, good kitcken with stove and microwave, refrigerator and washing mashine :) nice small livingroom, AC in both living-room and bedroom and last but not least - a very nice terrace with sun from noontime till evening! Lots of supermarkets/basars around the corner - even a Michelin restaurant (Tapas) down the road. We enjoyed 4 days in this nice apartment. Easy to make all arrangements with Antoni. We recommend this place in Barcelona...best regards T and A
Jun 27, 2019Contactamos a Antoni en medio de una situación extrema. Su amigo Jordi se encargó de alojarnos y explicarnos todo. Los dos son muy simpáticos, atentos y correctos. El apartamento es un sueño, un verdadero oasis dentro de Barcelona. Muy limpio, renovado y en perfecto estado. Se encuentra a unos 500 metros de la estación Paral.lel, por lo que en pocos minutos podrás descubrir los miles de rincones de esta bella ciudad. Si volvemos, seguro que los contactaremos. Mil gracias!!!!
Jun 27, 2019J'ai passé 5 jours avec deux amis dans l'appartement d'Antoni. Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique!!! Voici pourquoi je vous recommande vraiment cet appartement: - Très bien situé proche ramblas, quartier Gotique, pas très loin de la plage. - Dans un quartier calme avec toutes les commodités (superette, bar, kebab...) - Appartement très propre, lumineux avec une terrasse super agréable possédant une douche extérieure -Cuisine moderne et bien équipé -Machine à laver à dispo -Air climatisé dans le salon (canapé lit) et la chambre -Wifi qui fonctionne très bien à dispo. Antoni et Jordi qui gèrent l'appartement sont très sympa...
Jun 27, 2019Antoni est un super hôte ! Il est très sympathique, chaleureux et disponible et il est arrangeant au niveau des horaires d'arrivée et de départ. L'appartement était très bien aménagé et équipé, tout était à disposition. Beaucoup de points positifs : climatisation dans la chambre et le salon/chambre; cuisine neuve; terrasse spacieuse sans vis à vis avec douche extérieure; rue calme; wifi; appartement propre et clair; proche de toutes commodités, de la Rambla et de la plage à pied. Seul point négatif : nous étions venus en voiture et cela n'était pas évident pour se garer dans le quartier et tout était payant. Coup de chance au mois d'Août le parcmètre était gratuit ! We had a small problem with the shower, but at the first request Antonio promptly removed it. For any further questions we have received a quick and speedy response. We all loved it!
Jun 27, 2019Antoni y Jordi han sido unos anfitriones excelentes. El apartamento es tal y como se describe en el anuncio. Su localización es excelente para moverse por Barcelona cómodamente. Durante los días que estuvimos hizo bastante calor, así que el aire acondicionado resultó imprescindible para poder dormir. En fin, una grata experiencia que aconsejamos a cualquiera que quiera visitar esta gran ciudad. ¡¡ Muchas gracias chicos!!
Jun 27, 2019Located in quiet el Poble-Sec neighborhood, this apartment is only 10 minutes away from noisy and extremely touristic La Rambla. Metro station is two minutes away, very convenient to transport across the city or to nearest beaches. There are a lot of places to eat near the apartment, but for cooking enthusiasts there is kitchen in the apartment with new electrical range and other useful tools :) Apartment have all required amenities, including two air conditioners - one for each room, and was very clean and welcoming! Internet in apartment is high-speed, so you can even able to watch Russian football games online :)

Well the atmosphere there was really attractive. Moreover the apartment is close to the Gothic Quarter. And one more pleasent thing- welcome present as bottle of local champange from hosts.

Jun 27, 2019Antonio was extremely helpful leading up to our trip, being very flexible by arranging for his friend Jordi to check us in after a very late arrival (around 11 PM). Jordi was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The flat was in excellent condition - very clean, and everything was almost brand new. We especially appreciated the air conditioning as it was nearly 28 degrees in September. Antonio had even left a bottle of wine for us, which was very kind. The location of the apartment is great, as you are 5 minutes from the Paral-lel metro stop, and you can get to most major sites on the metro very quickly. We enjoyed the terrace for our breakfasts. There are lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby as well, making everything most convenient. Highly recommended.

Jun 27, 2019Nous avons passé 1 semaine très agréable dans l'appartement d'Antoni, il correspond parfaitement a la description : Bien agencé et équipé, propre, lumineux, situé dans une rue calme mais pourvue de bien des avantages : commerces, restaurants, près de la station de métro et des quartiers sympas, la literie est parfaite, seul petit bémol : le bruit de la porte d'ascenseur la nuit, mais sinon tout était parfait. Jordi qui nous accueilli est très sympa et nous a bien conseillé, il s'est aussi occupé de nous réserver le taxi pour le retour a l'aéroport. Antoni a eu la gentillesse de nous offrir une bouteille d'un excellent vin espagnol a notre arrivée.
Jun 27, 2019So many reviews all saying the same, so I will just say I agree, the place is great, Antoni is responsive and a great host, and it's very good value for the money. Probably best for 2 or at most 3 people as the second room is a rather narrow fold-out sofa in the living area. The terrace is wonderful, gets direct sun only in mid to late afternoon. AC works great. Also note this is a holiday apt not his home so there is not much in the kitchen apart from salt, pepper, oil and vinegar. Several food stores on the same street where you can stock up and are open late. Hope we can return soon!

We appreciated the easy and welcoming contact with the people who take care of the apartment. We truly can recommend the place. Jun 27, 2019Amazing place to stay in Barcelona! We didn't meet Antoni in person but his friend who met us was (luckily) very flexible with check-in and check-out times, thank you again for that. Once we arrived I felt the appartment was even nicer than on the pictures, with the terrace being a huge plus. The neighbourhood is quite nice, too, with a small supermarket and a lot of nice bars and cafés close by. To sum up we were very happy to have chosen Antoni's place for our weekend in Barcelona and would definetly recommend it! Thank you very much for your hospitality Antoni, we appreciated it very much and sure will try to stay at your place the next time we come to Barcelona.
Jun 27, 2019We've been travelling around Europe for a couple of months, and Antoni's apartment was our favourite place by far! Great neighbourhood, and within easy walking distance to the Gothic Quarter and other popular areas. The apartment was really sweet, with plenty of room for the three of us, and was nicely and simply decorated. It was so nice to have clean white towel sets and sheets! The outdoor area was a big bonus as well. We didn't get to meet Antoni, but he was easy to communicate with and his friend Jordi was lovely. When I come back to Barcelona I'll definitely stay here again!

Jun 27, 2019Antoni is a super nice host that is why the four stars, I thought the apartment was a little bit bigger from the pictures but it is very nice anyway, maybe a bit humid in the winter but cosy enough for 4 days in Barcelona. If you are 4 people it is a bit difficult to have a common room.

Tano es un anfitrión como pocos, se nota que ha vivido en otros países y conoce como viajar, así que para todos aquellos inquietos de esta web donde me incluyo, con Tano todo será estupendo. El piso es confortable, no hay ruidos y tiene lo indispensable para pasar una buena estancia. Esta muy bien localizado porque Poble Sec es un barrio que te conecta con todo el centro de Barcelona. Un diez!.
Jun 27, 2019The communication with Antoni was easy. He was always there for us. As we came to Barcelona Antoni welcomed us nicely and warmly at the cosy apartment. Everything was as we saw it in the pictures and even nicer. Although it was January it was a pleasant stay at the apartment and we loved Barcelona. Near the apartment there are several bars for breakfast that we visited. It was very simple to explore Barcelona from our barrio by walk or metro or bus. For the evening we visited some restaurants on our own and ones that Antoni recommended us - which by the way were clearly better. We would warmly recommended the apartment and Antoni is a great host.

Jun 27, 2019Nice cozy apartment in a great location! Quiet area yet conveniently close to Las Ramblas, supermarkets, and the Metro, which will take you anywhere you need to go in Barcelona. The outdoor terrace with sunshine is an added bonus. Antoni was very helpful with all our needs and questions and checking in and out was a breeze. A champagne welcome started off a fantastic week! We would stay here again and are considering a summer return. Thanks for wonderful time!
Jun 27, 2019The appartment is in perfect location - a walking distannce from all major tuorist attractions. It is very clean and fully equipped for short (or long) stay. The most admirable was the host - shiny, smilling and helping Antoni. He waited for us at arrival although our plane was 2 hours late. I definitelly will recomend this appartment to my friends.

The place was reasonably close to La Rambla and had some cheap places to eat around which is very important. The house was very quiet, clean and very convenient to stay for 4 people. Wish we had one more day to stay in there... If you wish to spend some good time in Barca you must consider this place to stay!
Jun 27, 2019What would I say. Everything was perfect and just like we wanted. Let's start from the location. It's on Poble Sec's small street, maybe 250 m from Paral-El Metro station. There's a lot of small supermarkets, tapas, bars, restaurant. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. You can get quickly to any part of the city, many of attractions you can reach on walk (f.e Rambla 10-15 min). The flat is suitable for max 4 people. Everything you need is just there so you can wash, prepare food, eat on terrace and even clean If you wish. You'll find there a lot of space to hide your bags and clothes. According to the price which about ** hotel rate you'll get much more spacious apartment. I don't know what to add about the place - it's bull's eye. Antoni is like an angel - he listens to you carefully, smiles a lot and then he does exactly everything not to disappoint you. You can call him any time when in trouble or when any help is needed. You won't regret - do doubts. My girl and our son were also under impression of that not expensive way to stay in Barcelona. Of course - there is no need to sit there all day long. There is a million things to do out in the city. We highly recommend that place and its absolutely nice owner and we'll stay there again for sure. Any cons, you wonder? I can't see any. But if you need any I will list some which wasn't too much problem for us, but they exist: 1. The corridor and the elevator are quite small. So we had to do some extra moves:) to get in and out. 2. From time to time you can smell something not pleasant from the sewerage on the terrace but we've noticed that it happens almost everywhere in Barcelona. 3. Yeah, the scratches on the bathtub could be fixed but if you are not princess nor prince you can do your shower without worries :) However - we miss the place, we miss Antoni and, of course, we miss Barcelona.

Fuimos recibidos con flores que perfumaron el ambiente los 5 días que pasamos alli, una botella de cava que disfrutamos mucho y una tarjeta de bienvenida. El apartamento es muy luminoso y cálido, super comodo y bien ubicado. Se nota que Antoni es una muy buena persona y le gusta lo que hace....ojala podamos volver alguna vez. Gracias Antoni!!!
Jun 27, 2019We had a great time in Barcelona. The city is really worth a trip. Antoni is a very friendly, helpful and caring guy. He is on time and generously. The apartment had enough space for us 4. We enjoyed it to eat breakfast in the morning or to drink some wine in the evening at the great terrace. There are only two little things we didn´t like...the strange smell on the terrace from time to time and the apartment could be a little bit more clean. But all in all we had a lovely stay and thank Antoni for being such a nice host. Lovely Greetings from Berlin/Potsdam :)

The apartment is lovely, clean, and we loved the terrasse! We also loved the location, right near Montjuic and not a far walk to the beaches and other central locations. Jun 27, 2019Apartment was great, had everything you could want. The terrace is perfect and gets the Sun pretty much all day. The location is also good as the local bars and restaurants are not expensive. Antoni was also very nice and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely stay here again!
Jun 27, 2019Antoni was a such a great host. He left a bottle of cava for me to enjoy, which I did on my first night. The apt is very warm and light. It was perfect for me. I did not have much time to enjoy the terrace due to my hectic schedule and would have loved a few more days to relax there. The apt is well located. The nice thing is that it is in a neighborhood that is not too tourist-oriented. One block from the apt is Carrer de Blai - a pedestrian only street that for blocks has many restaurants and bars. The food is delicious and costs much less than what you pay in places that most tourists go. Across the street is a small market, and just 3 blocks or so away is the Metro. It was nice after a long day of touring around to stop at a local bar and get some great food, then go back to the apt for a night of rest. I would definitely recommend Antoni's apartment for anyone who wants a true Barcelona experience!

On arrival he surprised us with a bottle of champagne! and was kind enough to tell us where and what to do in barcelona. I highly recommend staying here if you dont want to be on La Rambla but it is not a far walk! 5 stars! Thank you Antoni!!!

Antoni was so patient in waiting for us and still welcomed us with open arms to his wonderful city of Barcelona. The apartment was in a great location with easy access to the metro connecting you to all the major sites. We loved our short stay in Antoni's apartment in Barcelona and would be thrilled to return. Jun 27, 2019Antoni was terrific host. He waited patiently to greet us although our flight from Paris was delayed. The apartment was well equipped and very clean. I liked its location that is close to the tourist attractions but not in the middle of it. We enjoyed many meal options in Carrer de Blai and surrounding area. I was able to walk a few blocks to the Ramblas and used the Metro to visit Park Guell, La Pedrera and La Santa Familia. Gracias Antoni!
Jun 27, 2019Ça a été facile de joindre Antoni. L'appartement était fonctionnel, très propre et très calme, on a même dormi la fenêtre ouverte. On a pu profiter le soir de la terrasse exposée ouest. La station de métro la plus proche est a 5mn a pied. On peut trouver des épiceries dans la rue. Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour a Barcelone.

Jul 27, 2019I had a wonderful experience with Antoni and this apartment. Antoni was very flexible and accommodating, he even bought me a bottle of champagne! The apartment is beautifully decorated, and is incredibly bright. I couldn't have been happier there for a weekend. It's close to metro, on a relatively calm street, but still close to plenty of bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this place.

His place is located in the Theatre district which was amazing and close to the subway which is very easy to use. Great space, clean, air conditioned, amazing roof top terrace. El piso es muy lindo,silencioso y luminoso, esta situado en una zona llena de bares y locales donde se pueden degustar los "pintxos" y se encuentra muy cerca de la metropolitana. Toni es un huésped muy atento y nos ayudo en todo (incluido montar una cuna por el nuestro bebe ;)

Jun 27, 2019A very central apartment in a quiet neighborhood. Tony is a very smily and welcoming person. The terrace was very nice and cool to take our breakfirst or diner. It would have been perfect if there was a view from the terrace. We will certainly come back to this place. Thank you Antony....
Jun 27, 2019Antoni nous a accueillies comme des reines, très chaleureusement et avec la joie de vivre qui caractérise les espagnols. L'appartement est vraiment très bien aménagé et confortable. Il n'y a pas de bruit malgré une proximité du centre de Barcelone. La literie est de bonne qualité et nous avons bien dormi. Nous reviendrons, c'est sûr !! Merci Antoni.

Baigné de lumière, avec une terrasse aussi mignonne et agréable que sur les photos! Séjour super sympa, on espère revenir!

Jun 27, 2019Alles hat prima geklappt! Antoni hat bereits auf uns in der Wohnung gewartet. Ein schnuckeliges Appartement mit einer tollen Terasse-wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Betten waren frisch bezogen, Handtücher lagen bereit und alles war sehr sauber. Sogar eine Flasche Schaumwein hat uns unser super netter Gastgeber spendiert. Und Kaffee war auch im Haus! Wir hatten überhaupt gar nichts zu meckern, haben die Tage in Barcelona genossen und können Antonis Appartement allen Barcelona-Freunden wärmsten empfehen. Auch die Lage war bestens: 5 Minuten von der Metrostation und um die Ecke eine Fussgängerzone mit den besten Tapas der Stadt! Lieben Dank nochmals an Antoni für die tolle Zeit . Jun 27, 2019Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, danke. Die Wohnung liegt zentral, viele nette kleine Kneipen und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft, trotzdem ist es ruhig. Sowohl vom Flughafen als auch vom Bahnhof ist die Wohnung gut zu erreichen, die Metro ist nah. Verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in Spaziernähe. Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich, alles benötigte in Küche und Bad war vorhanden. Antoni ist ein liebenswerter und freundlicher Gastgeber, die Schlüsselübergabe hat sehr verlässlich funktioniert (auch Sonntagmorgen ganz früh, danke!). Sollten wir Barcelona noch einmal besuchen, würden wir die Wohnung auf jeden Fall wieder nutzen.

It was in a great location and I had no problem easily getting everywhere else I wanted to go in Barcelona. I would stay at Antoni's place again.

He was waiting for us at the apartment when we arrived, showed us around, gave us some local tip offs and left us a chilled bottle of Cava. He made sure to let us know we could contact him any time, which we did once for restaurant directions and once more for a small problem that arose which he dealt with efficiently and graciously. The apartment was clean and well stocked with everything we needed and Antoni ensured that our first experience in Barcelona was a thoroughly pleasant one.

L'appartamento è esattamente come lo vedete nelle foto (forse non adatto a 4 adulti ma noi siamo stati benissimo in 2 adulti e due ragazzi), pulito anche all'esterno; Antoni è gentilissimo, puntuale e prodigo d'informazioni. Il palazzo è tranquillo e così è il quartiere multietnico. la fermata della metro è a 2 minuti di camminata e da lì si raggiungono tutti i punti d'interesse in un massimo di 15-20 minuti. Rapporto qualità/prezzo inarrivabile!!

It's located about 5 minutes walk from the metro station Paral-lel and 10 minutes walk from the historical center (Gothic block). Antoni is a nice and very friendly person. The only problem we had with our staying is that it was very cold in the apartment for us. So if you're going to visit Barcelona in January don't forget your slippers and warm pajamas :)

It is perfectly situated to explore Barcelona, located in close proximity to a metro stop, and also close enough to walk to most areas. We had an excellent stay, and would highly recommend staying with Antoni if you are coming to visit Barcelona!

Jun 27, 2019Abbiamo soggiornato in questo appartamento tre giorni a gennaio, la temperatura fuori era di circa 5 gradi, purtroppo la casa era molto fredda visto che uno dei due convettori era fuori uso e sostituito da un piccolo calorifero elettrico (cucina e bagno non sono riscaldati). La wifi che per noi era molto importante non ha funzionato neanche per un minuto. La tapparella di una delle camere è rotta quindi bloccata pertanto non si può abbassare. Antoni ci ha detto che sarebbe venuto a ripararla ma non si è visto nessuno. L'appartamento in se non è male ma avrebbe davvero bisogno di una sistemata soprattutto per quanto riguarda cose importanti di cui ne va il piacere di trascorrere una vacanza piacevole (il freddo è davvero brutto e anche dormire con la tapparella completamente su). Antoni ci ha comunque accolto molto bene e ci ha offerto, come promesso, una bottiglia di spumante locale che abbiamo molto gradito. Barcellona è fantastica, l'abbiamo amata e siamo stati davvero bene in questa splendida città. Il quartiere è carino e comodo alla metropolitana. Spero davvero che Antoni possa dedicare maggiori attenzioni al suo appartamento perchè con pochi importanti accorgimenti può davvero migliorare la qualità del soggiorno dei suoi ospiti. Non mi sento di consigliarla per soggiorni lunghi.

La terrasse donne sur une cour très calme en février. Le seul point négatif c'est le chauffage insuffisant lorsque la température extérieure est basse. Toni est un hôte chaleureux .
Jun 27, 2019Kontaktaufnahme mit Antoni vorab per e-mail klappte wunderbar. Als wir in Barcelona gelandet waren, riefen wir noch mal an und trafen dann an der genannten Adresse einen Freund von Antoni, der uns sehr freundlich und herzlich begrüßte, in die Wohnung brachte und alles erklärte. Die Wohnung ist zentral gelegen, aber dennoch ruhig, hat alles was man für einen Aufenthalt in Barcelona braucht und war für uns 3 komfortabel. Da wir gerne auf den tollen Märkten einkaufen gehen waren uns Küche und Esstische besonders wichtig. Küche mit Kühlschrank, Tiefkühler, Mikrowelle, Ceranfeld, Backofen und Waschmaschine. Ausreichend Geschirr, Töpfe, etc. Esstisch gibt es sowohl im Wohnzimmer (dort auf dem Ausziehsofa Schlafmöglichkeit für 1-2 Personen) als auch auf der großen Terrasse. Viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Kneipen nund Restaurants im Umkreis von 100-200 Metern. Sehr freundliche und unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe bei der Abreise. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder und hoffen die Wohnung ist dann wieder frei. +

La casa es preciosa, muy limpia y con caracter. La habitacion es grande y luminosa y todo el piso es muy acojedor. Recomando esta casa!

Jun 27, 2019Alles war perfekt organisiert. Die Schlüssel- und Wohnungsübergabe fand ohne Probleme statt. Die Wohnung ist einer sehr guten Lage. Barcelona ist von hier aus fußläufig erreichbar. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung wie beschrieben. Die Nachbarschaft als kleines Manko hörbar. Alles in allem war es für uns perfekt. Abends ist man sowieso so müde, dass einem Nebengeräusche nicht weiter stören.

Jun 27, 2019Leuk en lekker eenvoudig appartement, de werkelijkheid is niet anders dan de impressie die je hier op Airbnb krijgt van de foto's en beschrijving. Gewoon een keurig en schoon, goed te bereiken en een prima startpunt om Barcelona te gaan ontdekken. Communicatie met eigenaar en vriend die ons in- en uitcheckte verliep vlekkeloos. Wij hebben het in ieder geval prima naar onze zin gehad!

Jun 27, 2019L'appartement est idéalement situé, quartier sympa avec plein de bar à tapas, tout est très accessible, 10 minutes du centre de Barcelone à pieds, le reste en métro et bus juste à côté. Quant à l'appartement, il est conforme aux photos, c'est grand et la terrasse est super agréable. On a vraiment apprécié de pouvoir manger dehors. Le seul bémol concerne le bruit pour ceux qui dorment dans le salon... le voisin du dessous a été particulièrement bruyant, il parlait super fort sur sa terrasse jusqu’à minuit, 3 soirs de suite... si vous dormez dans la chambre, ça allait mieux! Ceci étant, malgré ce petit bémol, je reviendrai dans cet appartement qui était très fonctionnel et parfait pour quelques jours à Barcelone
Jun 27, 2019Nous avons été bien accueillis. Le logement est confortable et très bien situé : près d'une la ligne de métro et pas trop loin à pied du centre de Barcelone. Par contre, il n'y a pas de quoi écouter de la musique, la télévision ne marchait pas. Le matériel de cuisine pour 4 est vraiment très léger.

Jun 27, 2019The description was very accurate. We wanted to be near the centre of Barcelona and we were. We were a walking distance from Placa D'Espanya (the train/metro station) so we were able to get around very easily. At night, we walked through the town and were able to find plenty of restaurants and tapas bars. We had a great time! The kitchen is perfect and you have all of the cooking tools you need. The wifi works great. The terrace is extremely nice. This is a perfect place for anyone that wants to stay in the city and get a more authentic taste of the downtown Barcelona life. My only suggestion is that Antoni use e-mail more, rather than text messages/phone calls. Text messaging and phones calls are not the easiest way to communicate when you're travelling because a lot of people turn their phones off to save on roaming fees, so perhaps it would make sense to use e-mail more. We arrived early, but weren't able to get a hold of Antoni until we turned on data roaming and phoned him directly. That was a very small hiccup though because the rest of the stay was wonderful! :-)

Jun 27, 2019Nice appartment on the roof, beautiful terrace, good location. Its more or less clean, but not very clean, especially the kitchen. The contact immediately before our arrival was problematic. But finally we could enter the house with the help of a friendly neighbor who was fortuitous in front of the house. He explained us where the appartment is and there was just the woman cleaning the flat and we could get the keys. There are some supermarkets in the street and first we could buy for example soap and toilet paper.

Jun 27, 2019I never met Antoni. His nephew met up with us and let us into the apartment. The apartment was okay. The terrace is really nice and the apartment has a lot of natural light. However, there is no outdoor shower on the terrace. The bathroom needs some work. The tub had a rust by the drain and the toilet had problems flushing. Also only one light worked in the bathroom. The bedroom was great. Lots of closet space and the bed was comfortable. The apartment does have a good location. You can walk to many of the main area. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the port. I tried to contact Antoni on my last day to see if it would be possible to leave our luggage in the apartment while we explored since we weren't leaving until later, but I wasn't able to get a hold of him. Overall, an okay experience. I wouldn't stay in the apartment again.

Appartement atypique et confortable, situé tout près d'une rue de bar à tapas ( qu'il faut absolument déguster avec un verre de sangria). Un peu de vis à vis par la terrasse d'en face qui domine celle de l'appartement. Le linge de maison nécessiterait d'être renouvelé.

Jun 27, 2019Very nice welcome by Antoni's nephew. The apartment was very clean and extremely pleasant. The terrasse is a fantastic plus and the description of the place online is completely accurate. Poble Sec is changing and we liked the mixed of old feel and upcoming bobo places. The location is very convenient. We had a bit of a hard time deciding on a meeting time for the keys but it was in part due to my phone problems. As a guest, I suggest you set a time that is reasonable and Antoni or else seem very reliable. I would recommend the place to any friend.
Jun 27, 2019L'appartement était conforme aux photos et correspondait exactement à notre besoin. Dernier étage d'un immeuble à l'accès protégé. Pendant notre séjour (août), pas de bruits dans l'immeuble. Les clims marchaient parfaitement et ce n'est pas du luxe en aout à Barcelone !! De plus, quel plaisir de prendre son petit déjeuner sur la terrasse !! L'appartement est à 2 minutes du Métro et permet de rayonner facilement dans Barcelone. A pied, 15 minutes du port, des ramblas, de la place Espanya. Si vous demandez à Antoni, il réserve une place de parking dans un vrai parking gardé pour 16 euros par jour pas loin de l'appartement. Vous avez une clé et pouvez recupérer la voiture quand vous voulez. Enfin, Antoni est vraiment quelqu'un de sympathique, agréable et arrangeant. Bref, vous l'avez compris, nous avons trouvé notre pied à terre à Barcelone :)

Jun 27, 2019Wir wurden von einem guten Freund von Antoni in Empfang genommen, da er arbeiten musste. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön. Sie ist nicht weit von der U-Bahn und der Altstadt entfernt. Trotzdem ist sie ruhig gelegen. Perfekt um hier noch in Ruhe auszuspannen. Die Terrasse ist toll, sie hat sogar eine Aussendusche (wer es mag). Die Möbel auf der Terrasse sind mittlerweile besser als die auf dem Foto dargestellten. Einzig ein Sonnenschirm wäre noch eine Option. Lebensmittel konnte man im Umkreis von 5min erwerben(jeden Morgen gab es frisches Baguette). Wir waren 4 Personen und hatten genug Platz. Antoni ist ein sehr herzlicher Gastgeber. Wenn man ihn sieht, mag man ihn sofort. Bei einem weiteren Barcelona-Aufenthalt würden wir dort sofort wieder übernachten.

Jun 27, 2019Caminamos unos 5 minutos desde el metro Para-le y Antoni nos recibió muy amablemente en el departamento, el cual tenía ascensor para subir con las maletas. El departamento es ideal para 4 personas (nosotros éramos 3), el baño es amplio con agua caliente y teníamos toallas para todos. La terraza es muy agradable y también el departamento en general. Definitivamente lo recomendaría y me quedaría de nuevo cuando vaya a Barcelona.
Jun 27, 2019Antoni ist ein sehr netter hilfsbereiter Mensch. Er hat uns ein paar interessante Tipps bezüglich Sehenswürdigkeiten in Barcelona gegeben. Die Wohnung entspricht der Beschreibung. Die Wohnung liegt hervorragend um mit der U-Bahn oder zu Fuß die Stadt zu erkunden. Trotz zentraler Lage in einer Großstadt ist die Wohnung, da hofseitig gelegen, sehr ruhig. Auch die Nachbarschaft war für uns nicht störend. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt auf jeden Fall.

Er hat uns nach SMS Austausch vor der Wohnung empfangen und alles gezeigt und erklärt.Das Appartement ist sauber,gemütlich und ziemlich zentral.Für 4 Personen schon etwas eng , aber machbar. . Die Terrasse ist toll und auf jeden Fall ein zusätzlicher Raum. Leider hatten wir nicht bestes Wetter für Barcelona. Aber beide Zimmer konnten geheizt werden. Das Wifii hat super funktioniert.In der Strasse hat es Lebensmittelgeschäfte und eine Restaurantstrasse ist gleich nebenan. Alles in allem ein empfehlenswertes Appartement! Jun 27, 2019The flat was nice and looked as on pictures. I would recommend this flat more for 2-3 people, because it is a bit tiny for 4 if you stay for one week, for examle. For a couple of days - it is fine. The appartment was clean with everything needed. The only one thing to take in mind is that is it better to take bathroom not one after another - the water heater is OK for 1-2 people, but all the rest would need to wash in cold water )).

Jun 27, 2019Tony was really great, very knowledgable and passionate about Spain. The location was really nice as well. When we arrived the Apartment was super clean and Tony made us feel at ease immedietely. Next time Im in Spain and in Barcelona we will definitely be staying here again.

A parte de ser unos anfitriones excepcionales, han sido unos guías maravillosos y nos han ayudado en todo lo que hemos necesitado, tanto en la llegada como en la salida, que es lo que un turista necesita cuando llega a una ciudad que no conoce. Cada vez que estemos en Barcelona repetiremos y os aconsejamos que hagáis lo mismo. El piso es coqueto y esta muy bien situado. En verano esa terracita tiene que ser una gozada.

Only the appartment right below was under construction, they started already at 7h30. But such is life! We highly recommend staying at one of his appartments. Jun 27, 2019We arrived in Barcelona early morning and Antoni even while he was not keeping well he came personally and showed us his lovely apartment. The apartment is exactly like you see in the pictures. It is a very cozy and beautiful double bedroom apartment. It is also very well located and has many supermarkets and cafes around the vicinity. It is also walking distance from a lot of the sites that Barcelona has to offer!

La casa es muy agradable, tranquila, y la relación calidad precio es excepcional. Está muy bien equipada para sentirte como en casa. Toni es un gran anfitrión, puntual, amable y cumplidor. Si vas a BCN es una opción muy muy recomendable.

Antoni fue muy amable, siempre disponible, y nos dio incluso una botella de vino de regalo. Volveremos sin lugar a duda y lo recomiendo.
Jun 27, 2019Antoni is a great host, very friendly and welcoming, and the apartment is lovely, exactly like the pictures, with all we needed for our week's stay. We didn't make full use of the terrace as it was January and not so warm for outdoor eating and relaxing, but I can imagine it would be fantastic out there in the summer. The apartment fulfilled all our expectations - quiet at night for a decent sleep in the comfy bed, and in a great location with shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants close by. We have stayed in El Poble Sec before and found it to be a good base for exploring Barcelona, easy to get to and from the airport by bus, and as we are happy to walk everywhere it was perfect for that, but there are plenty of transport links if you prefer. All in all another fantastic holiday in Barcelona. Thank you Antoni for hosting us, and we recommend your apartment to everyone!

Jun 27, 2019The house and the terrace are very nice and cosy, the area is really warm, with cafes, bakeries, farmacies and supermarkets and very near to the center. Also during the night it is very quiet! And finally Tato is a lovely and joyful host, making you feel at home and helping you with whatever you need! I recommend it!!

Il nous a conseillé une rue sympathique avec plusieurs petits restaurants / bars proches de l'appartement. Il a également été flexible concernant l'heure de sortie de l'appartement. Merci Antoni :)

Jun 27, 2019Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour chez Tato. Il nous a gentillement attendu alors que nous avions du retard, il s'est rendu très disponible tout au long du séjour. L'appartement est très bien situé pour pouvoir visiter la ville, les lignes de métro sont à 2 minutes à pied, pour les marcheurs, beaucoup de monuments sont accessibles à pied! Le quartier "Poble sec" est très sympa, il y a des tas d'épiceries dans la rue, impossible de mourir de faim. Nous étions 2 adultes et 2 enfants et l'appartement est suffisamment grand. Je recommande ce logement les yeux fermés.

They were honored and excited to spend time in such a conveniently located and lovely apartment for MWC16. I would definitely book Antoni's space again for MWC or for any trip to the Barcelona area.

Jun 27, 2019Antoni war wirklich ein sehr super netter Gastgeber ! Wir kamen relativ spät an und trotzdem hat er uns sehr warm empfangen mit einer Flasche Wein :)! Das Apartment entspricht genau den Bildern, wobei ein wenig renoviert wurde(Terasse). Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und multikulturell. Die Stadt und der Hafen sind zu Fuß in 15 Minuten erreichbar. Man liegt sehr zentral mit vielen Öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Die Wohnung eignet sich perfekt für 3 Gäste, sodass genug Platz für jeden vorhanden ist. Es war wirklich ein toller Aufenthalt in Barcelona.

He showed us around his apt, where everything was located, linens, wifi, etc. He also had Barcelona maps and a travel guide available for us. He showed us how to get to the metro and gave us helpful tips for navigating the city. He asked us to contact him if we had any issues or concerns. We were all on (Hidden by Airbnb) so that made communication seamless. The apartment was exactly like the pictures. It was quaint, neat and charming. It was perfect for 3 people. The terrace was also very beautiful. Due to the cold weather, we were only able to enjoy it one morning. The apartment was located 2 blocks from the Paral-el metro stop. You could either walk to Las Rambla or take the metro 2 stops to Liceu. The neighborhood where we stayed was Poble Sec. It was an awesome neighborhood. There were several grocery stores on the block, a pharmacy and cafes. We were in the ideal neighborhood that had many great bars and tapa joints. Despite there being numerous bars, the streets were quiet. The locals were extremely friendly. I can't wait to return to Antoni's place!

Jun 27, 2019We arrived rather late in the evening, but Tato waited for us, welcomed us and explained what was worth seeing and doing in Barcelona and the neighbourhood. We especially liked a close by restaurant he recommended. The apartment is very close to the metro and buses and conveniently located next to an area with many tapas bars, a park, lots of convenience stores, a pharmacy etc., everything one needs. The apartment is clean and cosy and had a splendid terrace.

Jun 27, 2019Antoni made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. He gave us some recommendations for food in the area, things to do, places to see. The apartment was absolutely perfect. Small, but really well laid out with an amazing rooftop terrace to take advantage of the great Mediterranean weather. Breakfast in the morning, drinks at sunset, it really made the whole trip feel that much more special. Also, full size tub in the bathroom!! The neighborhood is a ton of fun, it's close to 2 metro stops, and a short walk to the heart of the Gothic Quarter. We would definitely try to stay here again on another trip. Thanks Antoni!
Jun 27, 2019We texted Antoni when we were on our way to his apartment and he arrived a few minutes after us, with a big smile and a warm welcome. We had our car with us and he had arranged parking in a secure underground car park, and it felt very secure, although it was 10 minutes walk so if guests have a lot of luggage I would advise dropping bags off first. Also, if driving, note that the roads in the area are one way! The apartment was as described, comfortable and practical, equipped with everything we needed, good wifi and plenty of hot water. The roof terrace made it for us and we ate every meal outside, which in turn meant we could leave the sofa bed out in the sitting/dining room, making like much easier. The location was great - an easy walk to Montjuic for cable car and magic fountain. Only 5 mins to Parallel metro, which seemed to be the best line for the touristy things we wanted to do, and 20 mins max walk to La Rambla. Antoni recommended the next road (Carrer de Blai) for good tapas - it was cheap but it felt a bit touristy and not great quality, and there were hardly any children about in the evening so the atmosphere was a bit grown up for our family. Antoni was so welcoming, we really appreciated his friendliness and would visit his apartment again.

The location of the apartment was awesome! Right next to the best street with tapas and other affordable places to eat and walkable to many places including singing fountains. We would definitely stay there again if went back to Barcelona.

Jun 27, 2019Antoni was a fantastic host for our first holiday as a family of 4. He met us at the appartment and was very friendly and welcoming. He gave us all the necessary information for the appartment, suggested good places to eat in the neighbourhood and offered to organise our taxi back to the airport which was a huge help. The appartment was quite small as described but we were out enjoying the beautiful city of Barcelona all day every day so it was a perfect place for us to come and chill out. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals for the kids. The bathroom had both bath and shower which was perfect for us because our kids love a bath! The terrace was amazing. A very good size and we ate breakfast out there in the sunshine every day and enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening. We would definitely recommend Antoni's appartment to anybody else who was looking for a lovely, comfortable place to stay that was in easy walking distance to many of the beautiful sights Barcelona has to offer and very close to a metro station. Poble Sec was an awesome area which was lively and friendly but also quiet enough that we weren't disturbed by noise at nights. We would choose it again on our return visit (which we absolutely will be booking without too much delay!) Antoni, you were wonderful! Thank you so much for hosting us.

Very nice apartment with an unbeatable location, just 100 mts to a train station, buses, etc. Downstairs you can find everything, supermarket, bars, restaurants, and the best tapas in Barcelona. The apartment have all you need and more( the terrace is a big PLUS), but all in all, what is the best is the host Antoni, is just a very nice and friendly person that will make you feel like home, and will help you to find nice places in Barcelona. 100% recommend!

Jun 27, 2019Tato è un host eccezionale. Persona speciale, disponibile e simpatica. Parla e capisce molto bene l'italiano, quindi non ci sono stati problemi di comunicazione. L'alloggio è molto funzionale, anche per due coppie. Wi-fi e aria condizionata funzionano bene. La terrazza è molto carina grazie anche alle piante di cui Tato si prende cura con amore. Rispetto alle foto ora c'è anche un ombrellone nuovo e un tavolo più spazioso. Risulta fresca la sera e riparata durante la giornata. Il quartiere Poble Sec è multietnico, ma molto sicuro. Comodo alla metro e tutti i servizi (tapas bar, ristoranti, supermercati, farmacie..). Il soggiorno è stato piacevole e lo consiglio.

Dommage que le sommier du lit a posé des problèmes ( 3lattes cassées sur 8) occasionnant beaucoup de bruit de literie et nous obligeant à dormir parterre pour éviter une dégradation plus important de la literie. En espérant que le loueur arrangera cela au plus vite plus les prochains locataires. Sinon ce problème de literie cet appartement est très bien et très agréable

Er hat uns gute Tipps zum Essen in der Umgebung gegeben. Es verlief Alles reibungslos. Das Appartement ist hell und freundlich eingerichtet. Sehr empfehlenswert und deshalb auch meistens bereits ausgebucht.

From the moment of booking, Antoni was in contact via the Airbnb app to offer advice about transfers, and to let us know how to locate the place. When we arrived, he was there waiting to let us in with a complimentary bottle of wine, and guidance on what to see and how to get around the city. It was great. The apartment is in a top location. Just a 10 minute walk down one road and you're on the middle of La Rambla's, with some great bars and restaurants along the way, and the best Tapas in the city just around the corner. The apartment was spotless and using the sun trap every morning for coffee was perfect. When it was time to leave, Antoni helped us book a taxi to the airport and came to see us off. Great Host. Great Apartment. Great Location. Would highly recommend Antoni's place to all.
Jun 27, 2019We had amazing time in BCN. The apartment is in cool neighbourhood with lots of grocery shops, tapas bars & restaurants. I found it really interesting that it isn't "tourist only" part of town. You can blend in with the locals and enjoy true spirit of the city.

Jun 27, 2019Wir hatten nie einen besseren Vermieter als Antoni! Er ist über unseren eigentlichen Urlaub hinaus uneingeschränkt hilfsbereit und unglaublich zuvorkommend! Die Wohnung ist prima und absolut ausreichend für ein etwa 10 Tage in BCN! Die Dachterasse ist auch im Dezember mit einer Decke wirklich toll, um die Sonnenstrahlen zu genießen! Alles, was man braucht, ist in der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Für alles weitere ist die Metro nicht weit weg! Zu Fuß lohnt sich definitiv ein Spaziergang zum Parc Montjuic! Alles in allem ein toller Urlaub und Antonis Apartment werden wir wieder buchen!

Ottima posizione sia per visitare el barrio gotico che per farsi una passeggiata a la Barceloneta. ci sono vicino molte fermate dei bus e metro. Vicino anche supermercati e locali di tapas. La casa è esattamente come in foto ed è fornita di tutto. l'accoglienza è stata ottima ed Antoni ci ha consigliato dei locali dove andare a cenare.

Jun 27, 2019Antoni is een erg vriendelijke gastheer en gaf ons goede tips voor onze reis. Je kunt hem altijd bereiken als je ergens mee zit of zelfs als je een vraagje hebt over de stad zelf. Het appartement was goed en precies wat je ervan verwacht en ook de ligging vonden wij ideaal. Lopend kun je makkelijk naar de ramblas, de haven en castel montjuïc. Ook het metrostation is dichtbij. Daarnaast is er om de hoek een gezellig straatje waar je heerlijk kunt eten. Al met al een top appartementje op een top locatie.

Jun 27, 2019Perfect place to stay. The host was just amazing, so helpful with everything. We stayed with our 8 year old son and he loved it too. Lots of great places to eat close by and plenty of shops too. 5 minutes walk to subway. The apartment couldn't have been better and Antoni was just the most helpful and friendly host you could ask for.

Jun 27, 2019The place is super cool with two super awesome rooms. It has a great terrace that you can enjoy your morning coffee or breakfast and the sun will shine on you. The situation is super good too ... its really walking distance from all the nice areas ( La rambla, La raval, The harbour, the montjuic park etc) and the metro is just at the end of the street. I think for the money it was super worth it. Antonio was a super host, he waited for us greeted us and is super smiley and giving positiveness straight away. He offered us to help us at any time of the day, which was great ( although we did not need it, it was nice to know it was there) Overall, a super stay at this place... totally recommend it to anyone

Jun 27, 2019Toni was a fantastic host - he met me in the evening and showed me around the apartment to make sure I know how everything worked. He also pointed out some of the best places to visit on a map - he was very excited about Barcelona! The apartment itself is great - it is clean and looks exactly as pictured, and the patio is fantastic! It's also in a great neighbourhood with lots of shops and a street full of tapas bars just around the corner. We had a wonderful stay, and we would definitely book here again if we're ever back in Barcelona.

Jun 27, 2019Antoni was a wonderful host! Attentive and communicative before we even arrived. He was right on time to let us in which was amazing as we'd done the red eye with our child and we were tired. The neighborhood was close to everything we wanted to see and do. Very easy to take the subway, walk or grab a cab on Parallel. Around the corner I would buy a fresh and warm baguette and some fruit at the corner fruit and veggie stand every morning. The kitchen had everything we needed and we had breakfast at home every morning easily. One of the best things we did was take a 2 hour Segway tour! Really fun- and got to see a lot and learn a lot - my 11 year old loved it! Favorite pizza was 5 blocks away - super friendly and oven baked pizza - delicious - and fast! You can get it to go also - but the place is a real local hang out - enjoy! Pizza del Sortidor on Carrer Blasco de Gary's, #46. Yum! Best meal I had was at Cafe de L'Academia but make a reservation! Delicious!! The apartment is just like the pictures - small - we were a party of three and it was perfect for us. I loved the Gothic but every review talked about late hours and street noise. This apartment was nice and quiet. There was someone who filled the hall with cigarette smoke on two afternoons - but once in our apartment we were fine. Elevator was nice! Highly recommend this apartment and Barcelona! Enjoy!

Jun 27, 2019Cet appartement est véritablement charmant , très bien équipé, au calme et dispose d'une très jolie terrasse pourvue d'une table , de chaises et d'un banc ainsi que d'un grand parasol tout neuf. Entourée de plantes vertes , elle est très agréable et sans aucun vis à vis. Le salon , disposant d'un canapé-lit, donne sur la terrasse tout comme la chambre pourvue d'un grand lit très confortable et d'une grande armoire avec des cintres et beaucoup de place. La salle de bains très fonctionnelle avec une baignoire, un wc et un lavabo et une fenêtre pour aérér là pièce. La cuisine est très bien équipée elle aussi avec un four traditionnel ainsi qu'un four à micro-ondes , 4 plaques vitro céramique , un réfrigérateur ainsi qu'un congélateur. Tout est prévu pour nettoyer , aspirateur , produits d'entretień balai, serpillière espagnole , vous trouverez également de quoi cuisiner , huile , vinaigre , épices divers, café et toute la vaisselle et les casseroles nécessaires et 2 cafetières italiennes. Antoni vous donnera des serviettes et torchons qu'il vous renouvellera si vous restez plus d'une semaine et vous répondra immédiatement si vous avez un problème. Il est d'une gentillesse extrême et c'est une personne qu'on est heureux de rencontrer tant il est chaleureux , enthousiaste et sympathique .J'ajouterai qu'il a décoré son appartement de façon charmante avec beaucoup de goût et que l'on s'y sent immédiatement chez soi comme dans un rêve.... Il est très bien situé dans le poble sec car juste à côté de la carrer de blai , rue piétonne remplie de restaurants à tapas et pinxos où l'on mange très bien pour pas cher .C'est un quartier tranquille mais vivant , situé au pied de la colline dé Monjuic couverte de parcs superbes et où l'on peut visiter la formidable Fondation Miro . En résumé une excellente adresse que je recommande fortement .

Jun 27, 2019L'appartement d'Antoni est très bien situé (métro, restaurants, superette, Montjuïc, La Rambla à 10 minutes de marche...)et très agréable avec sa terrasse. Il est parfaitement conforme à l'annonce. La rue et l'immeuble sont calmes. Nous y avons passé une très bonne semaine. Un grand merci à Antoni pour sa souplesse sur notre heure d'arrivée (21h) et sa gentillesse. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

He always replied me very fast. He even found a very clear safe indoor parking space for our rental car on our own cost. Many Thanks!

Il y a des restaurants, des épiceries, des boulangeries pas loin, donc vraiment pratique. L'appartement est assez grand pour une famille de 4 et la terrasse est appréciable pour le pdj. et l'apéro du soir. Facile de communiquer avec Antoni. Je recommande l'appartement.
Jun 27, 2019Antoni was wonderful from start and finish. He waited for us and also gave us a bottle of wine for our stay. The apartment was clean and perfect for 3 people. We were able to cook breakfast every morning and enjoy it on the terrace every morning. Good communication and definitely will be back again. There is a lift so you won't have to worry about lugging your luggage up the stairs. Thank you once again Toni. Xx

Jun 27, 2019L'appartement correspond tout à fait au descriptif, agréable, calme et climatisé. La terrasse est vraiment un plus ainsi que la proximité de la carrer del Blai (bars à tapas à deux pas de l'immeuble). L'accueil d'Antoni est vraiment chaleureux, le fait qu'il parle français nous a bien simplifié la vie, il a ainsi pu répondre à toutes nos interrogations. Merci encore Antoni !
Jun 27, 2019Die Wohnung liegt perfekt, um Barcelona zu Fuss zu erleben. Das Viertel mit der Carrer de Blai ist sehr interessant mit vielen Tapasbars und Restaurants. Der Montjuic ist grossartig. Die Wohnung selbst ist gemütlich und die Dachterrasse ist das Highlight. Alles bestens, und Antoni ist ein sympathischer, freundlicher Gastgeber.

Jun 27, 2019My friends and I had the most wonderful stay in Antoni's beautiful apartment. Antoni was excellent at communicating before our stay and my friend's whom he let into the flat said he was a superb and friendly host. I cant say enough nice things about the flat. The spacious terrace is ideal for socialising and relaxing and the flat was extremely clean and well equipt, we all wished we could have moved in there. The location is awesome, right next to a lively street full of tapas bars. The flat was the perfect place to enjoy Barcelona from and we would stay there every time! Gracias Antoni!

Jun 27, 2019This is the perfect apartment in the city, but far enough away from the hustle and noise of La Rambla! Easy to walk to the main tourist areas. There are tons of little markets to buy groceries, plus a great tapas scene just around the corner. Antoni is the most wonderful host! He has great suggestions - be sure to ask for recommendations! Wifi is great! The flat was clean and everything worked well. The elevator is small, as all European elevators are, but very reliable. The neighborhood is safe, friendly and quiet at night. You will love the terrace!! It's gorgeous!
Jun 27, 2019Toni's flat was great for our family's first visit to Barcelona. It's clean, quaint and welcoming. The apt is well located for walking to sights or catching the metro. We hiked to Montjuic for a nice view of the city and there we visited the Joan Miro museum and the Catalan art museum. The neighborhood tapas scene is great and handy groceries are nearby if you choose to cook. We felt safe to walk even late at night. Great experience. Thanks Toni!

Jun 27, 2019Had an amazing stay at Antoni's beautiful place. We met Antoni and gave us such a warm welcome and he explained to us about the house and the area as well as gave us some local tips! He even gave us some treats as a welcome gift! The house has all the appliances, very well equipped and you even have a beautiful terrace that you can enjoy your breakfast during nice sunny day. The neighbourhood is lively with a lot of tapas restaurant just around the corner. We went to Blai 9 for tapas and it's amazing plus pretty cheap too! Metro is just short walk away and you can get to most attractions easily. Gothic Quarter is just around 15 mins walk from the place too. Barcelona is such a vibrant and beautiful city that we feel 5 days is not enough for us! We will definitely be back and highly recommend anyone for Antoni's place to explore Barcelona. Antoni was a great host, very accommodating (he met me early to do an early check in). Place was very clean. Elevator a great plus if you have bags. Quiet building. Will stay again if I go back to Barcelona.

Jun 27, 2019First off, Antoni is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. His quick responses and caring personality made it a trip to remember. His location is close to the tram station. (2 min walk) also very close to Ramblas (scenic walk) lots of shops and great restaurants on the way. It is also only 1 street away from a happening street with lots of bars and cafes for any style. I would highly recommend the stay there. Great patio to enjoy aswell. Cheers!

Jun 27, 2019Toni je výborný hostitel, flexibilní a vždy na čas. Místo je ideální na procházku na nedaleký kopec, pevnost i fontánu. Stejně tak i na druhou stranu do centra nebo přístavu. Vše tak akorát, že to zvládnou 12 leté děti, případnem je metro hned u nosu. Naprosto úžasná je pěší zóna Blai hned pod domem, kde jsme vyzkoušeli skoro všechny tapas bary na snídani nebo večeři, vždy bylo z čeho vybírat pro děti i dospělé. Byt byl útulný a praktický pro rodinu s 2 dětmi. Čistá koupelna, zařízená kuchyně a hlavně super terasa na snídani nebo večerní posezení u vína. Moc jsme si to užili a rádi doporučíme dál :)

Jun 27, 2019We couldn’t have had a better start to our first international trip than meeting Toni and checking into his apartment. Toni is warm, welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. The apartment is beautiful, clean, relaxed, and in a Perfect location. We Loved the neighborhood! I highly recommend staying here, we definitely would come back and stay longer! We had 4 great days there that flew by! The first night we were there we were having a hard time unlocking the door (which was a simple mistake, we discovered that in Spain you have to turn the key around like two and a half times to unlock it, so no problem with the door, just with us!), and Toni sped right over to help us figure it out. I can’t say enough good things!

Jun 27, 2019We stayed for the week over primavera festival. Ideal location for exploring the city and near the 1 euro tapas bars which are great! The sun terrace is a great addition and a sun trap. Ideal for a group of 3 who plan to be out and about exploring the city.
Jun 27, 2019First of all, Toni is a great host. We immediately felt welcome and communication was swift and easy. Minor issues were also taken care of in no-time. Second, the appartment is great. The terrace is a delightful place to hang out with both shadow and sun throughout most of the day. Opening all doors in the appartment ensures fresh air and a cool breeze so that it never gets too hot. (Temperature during our stay was around 25 degrees Celsius.) Location is also great. Ramblas are walking distance. We also walked to the beach but that 45 minute walk can also be replaced by a 25 minute metro ride. The metro station is very close and convenient. Note: we were a group of three and stayed for 6 nights.

Jun 27, 2019très bel appartement idéalement situé dans Barcelone. Antoni est disponible et fait le maximum pour que votre séjour soit réussi ( conseils, bonnes adresses,...). A recommander!!
Jun 27, 2019Hôte très accueillant et sympathique. Logement non conforme aux photos (comme la salle de bain), mal entretenu, beaucoup de poussières. La déco de l'appartement est à refaire avec soin. Le logement ne comporte pas 2 chambres mais 1 seule avec un canapé lit dans l'espace commun (12m carré environ). Les lattes du sommier du lit de la chambre sont cassés depuis sûrement pas mal de temps. L’hôte a mis une planche de bois à la place pour remplacer le sommier. A noter aussi que le matelas du canapé lit et les têtes d'oreillers sont tachés (protège matelas et tête d'oreiller non présents). La télé avec câble était inexistante (d'ailleurs il n'y avait pas de son). Les indications misent sur l'annonce sur le temps de trajet sont erronées (mer a 15min alors qu'il faut bien 40/45 min pour y aller). A noter aussi que la cuisine n'a pas de lave vaisselle et qu'il y a très peu d'ustensile pour y faire à manger (donc prévoyez des torchons !). Il n'y a pas de cafetière comme indiqué sur l'annonce. Les volets sont vétustes et fonctionnent très mal. Nous avons eu le désagrément, au bout de 3 jours, de voir un des volets se casser. Nous sommes allés à Barcelone en voiture, une fois arrivée sur place nous avons eu la mauvaise surprise d'avoir un parking réservé par l'hôte mais payant (environ 80 euros la semaine) alors que sur l'annonce il est bien indiqué que le parking est gratuit. Malgré tout, nous avons passé un bon séjour à Barcelone. L'appartement est néanmoins au calme et la terrasse pour déjeuner le matin est agréable mais trop chaude en été (à partir de 12H). En bas de l'appartement, il y a beaucoup de petits commerçants pour y faire quelques courses et la bouche de métro est très proche (environ 5 min). Il y a une longue rue à tapas (carrer de blai) très sympathique ou nous pouvons y manger de bonnes spécialités. Par correction, nous avons indiqué lors de notre départ, à Toni, toutes ces informations pour le tenir au courant.

He has a great space and really made me feel like it was a home away from home with the little things (coffee, breakfast fixings and local reccos). The spot is located in a safe and convenient location to a lot of the big sites and just around the corner from a strip of amazing tapas places and a killer gelato place. Chill out on the terrace after a long day sightseeing or getting the morning started for a nice respite. I'd recommend Toni's place to my closest friends and family and you should consider staying here too!

Jun 27, 2019We are a group of four girls and the apartment was perfect for us. We felt very welcome due to Antonis warm greeting. The apartment was located in a lively and authentic neighbourhood. The well-known tapas street „carrer de blai“ is right around the corner! Antoni took care of everything and he was always within reach. Our stay in Barcelona was awesome and we will come back for sure! Thank you, Antoni! Warm Hugs!
Jun 27, 2019Perfect place as a base to explore the city! My friends and I found the apartment to be very central, but also away from obvious touristy areas. There are some lovely little places to eat all around and enough supermarkets to get essentials from. We felt safe at all times and found Antoni to be a kind and thoughtful host. Really appreciated the small touches like wine and breakfast things to make us feel welcome. Will stay again!

The location is close enough to the tourist areas that you can easily walk or pick up the Metro very close by, yet it feels more like a regular family neighborhood. We stayed 7 nights and loved it.

Toni was a great host and made sure we were settled in before allowing us to explore (Email hidden by Airbnb) munication was perfect and everything went as expected.

Made us really welcome and made my birthday special. Left us everything we needed after a long journey which was most appreciated. Would definitely stay again. There was lots of information on the city. Antoni thinks of everything to make his guests feel welcome and comfortable. Very quiet area with lot's of places to eat and a short walk to las ramblas. Prefect location.

Jun 27, 2019O apto é muito bom, ideal para o verão, pois no inverno, para mantê-lo aquecido tivemos que deixar o ar condicionado ligado o tempo todo na opção quente. O apto é limpo, bem equipado, com tudo, inclusive com lava roupas e a cozinha é muito boa também. A localização é boa , principalmente para quem gosta de curtir barzinhos a noite, o bairro oferece muitas opções. Há nas proximidades farmácia, frutarias, mercado, etc... Os transportes públicos dependem de uma pequena caminhada. Para quem viaja de carro, na região tem poucas vagas de estacionamento na rua, mas o Antoni oferece um estacionamento coberto, com custos adicionais, distante do prédio, porém é a melhor opção. Nossa estadia foi ótima!
Jun 27, 2019This guy is amazing. So charming. As gift he gave us on first day a good breakfast for free and on our last day a good spanish wine - perfect. Didn't expect something like this. The appartment is in perfect conditions. The balkony is very chilled with an amazing view. The bathroom was well prepared for four people with towels and more. When I'm going to visit Barcelona again, first I'll ask Toni if the appartment is booked!

Not only the flat is beautiful and perfectly located, Toni made us find milk, water and some food in the fridge for our breakfast, not to talk about beautiful flowers. Staying at Toni’s is a must in Barcelona!!
Jul 27, 2019토니가 매우 친절하고 소통도 잘 되는 편이에요. 테라스도 예쁘고 집도 넓은데 침대가 하나라 두명까지만 묵을 수 있을 거 같네요. 위치는 카탈루냐 광장까지는 20분 좀 넘게 걸어가야 해서 조금 애매하지만, 웬만해서는 걸어다녀서 교통비는 적게 들었어요. 주변에 작은 식당이나 타파스바, 슈퍼들이 많아서 먹을거 걱정은 없이 살 수 있어요. 그리거 한국분들은 열쇠가 익숙하지 않아서 문 여는게 힘들 수 있으니 꼭 토니와 연습해보세요....
