This house is wonderful! It is one of the best Airbnb experiences ever. Beautiful neighborhood, very nice apartment (big, elegant and comfortable) with everything you may need. Everything was perfect: car park, easy access, beautiful views, two fantastic bathrooms, garden and terrace, etc. Definitely top!

Jun 27, 2019Hi! Staying at Leila's condo in Lahaina was my first ever AirBnB stay! Leila was accessible. She responded to any questions I had very quickly. She was always helpful! Her condo was amazing! Very clean, just as described, and I loved the location! Woke up to so much sunlight! A great view of the ocean! Had breakfast on our patio everyday! There is a cool breeze that will make you never want to leave! As for drive, it was less than an hour from Kahului Airport and the drive to several beaches were less than 10 minutes, I would highly recommend staying at Leila's!! It was a great experience!! Jun 27, 2019Leila was an excellent host. We had a delayed flight and did not arrive to the condo until 1:30am. Easy to find. Easy to access. Excellent amenities. Beautiful view! Quiet. Very responsive to any questions. Location is awesome! Walking distance to beaches, restaurants, etc. or easy & FREE shuttle (5-10 minute wait) in the Kapalua area. We are looking forward to working with her again in the near future.
Jun 27, 2019We stayed here on our first trip to Maui and we couldn't have had asked for a better place to vacation. From the spacious living areas to the modern decor, Leila's condo is located in a prime spot with spectacular views of the Pacific Ccean. After staying at her place, I wanted to highlight 4 great things about our experience: 1) Resort amenities- there is a complimentary shuttle that can take you between the Ritz Carlton and Montage resorts from your villa, along with other places in the Kapalua resort. This is great, especially for trying the top rated restaurants at the resorts without having to pay for parking...plus you can have a glass (or bottle) of wine and let someone else worry about the driving :) Or you can walk! 2) Accessibility- Whether you are looking to take in a nice stroll along the beach or play a round of golf, her villa is nestled right in the heart of the Kapalua Resort. Even in the rain, you can enjoy the nice pool with a covered eating area! And I need to mention that the views from her condo are breath-taking, so if you fancy a night in, hers is the place to do it! 3) Her Condo- I've stayed at hotels and resorts before, but I have to say that her villa exceeds anything you can find at a high end resorts. The wi-fi was strong and fast - able to be used among multiple devices. And the entire space was so clean! We had the security of knowing that the crew didn't just do a once over and be done, but actually took the time to make sure that it was ready and prepped for us, as if no one had stayed there before us. I'm a stickler for very nice bedrooms and beds, and hers was not only comfortable, but also offered me a great night's rest after a day of beach, beach and more beach :) 4) Leila & Dan - They have been a gracious host, allowing us to stay at their condo. They were quick to respond, always providing us with best in class service, and were able to provide some great recommendations on activities and events to do on the island. I want to thank you for taking the time to read my review. Our experience staying at Leila and Dan's condo was great, and we truly enjoyed the time we spent on Maui. I cannot thank them enjoy for allowing us this great and special opportunity, and for giving us a chance to experience this beautiful island in a way that like no other. Jun 27, 2019The place was perfect for us, we went to wholefoods and got our supplies for the week. Was able to do our own cooking and relax at the beach everyday. Not alot of food choice around the area for breakfast/lunch so recommend doing own shop.
Jun 27, 2019Very classy place! Check in was a breeze and since we didn't have to meet up with our host to get the keys, we were able to arrive quite late. The "instant book" was also really nice. This house is on a beautiful golf course in a quiet and scenic neighborhood. We were able to watch giant crashing waves and humpback whales from the porch. Just lovely.

Very clean and the host was very easy to talk to and responsive. There are no beach chairs or cooler to use FYI. We hope to be back to Maui soon! Definitely would stay here again.
Jun 27, 2019Leila's place was quiet, secluded, and in a beautiful neighborhood on a golf course. The house had an incredible view from both the living room and the bedroom, and while there was an air conditioner, it wasn't needed due to the lovely breeze. The house is walking distance from a small beach, and is a quick drive to the Honolua General Store which has coffee, pastries, sandwiches and hot food, toiletries, towels, sunblock... pretty much everything. The house comes equipped with travel size shampoo, body wash, hair conditioner, and bar soap. It also has a small hair dryer. There are beach umbrellas and chairs in the backyard ready to be taken to the beach. The wind gusts can get a little loud at times, I think because of how the house is situated on the hill. The bed was a little bit lumpy, but mostly soft and comfortable. The house renovations are gorgeous and look brand new, and there's a huge second bathroom with a great bathtub not pictured in the photos! Very clean, bright, and lovely. As other reviewers said, the photos do *not* do this house justice. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay. Thank you!

Jun 27, 2019We loved this place. We like to hike and the Kapalua Resort has plenty of hiking trails available. And when it rained for two days, we had a great place to hang out and watch old movies! Everything you need, very comfortable and pretty. We used the A/C for only one night (I don't like air conditioning) because the design of the louvered windows meant we could control the breeze that constantly flowed through the house, keeping us cool.

Jun 27, 2019Leila was wonderfully responsive and helpful with multiple aspects of traveling with our baby. Her condo was spotless with a beautiful view of the sunrise. It's within waking distance of two quiet beaches, the Ritz Carlton and the market. Very quiet and serene--a nice change of pace from the busier resorts of the island.
Jun 27, 2019Leila's place is great - beautiful inside with an awesome view. There are multiple beaches close by, including one where we found four sea turtles swimming and eating. The villa is in an area of Maui a little farther away (about an hour driving) from the main resort hub where a lot of activities are, but the Kapalua Resort is right on the highway that connects you easily to the rest of Maui. The villa is also about 20 minutes from Lahaina, a great town with lots of restaurant and shopping options. If you're looking for something quieter than the resorts or a place bigger than a hotel room - definitely consider this villa!
Jun 27, 2019Leila's place is absolutely perfect. My husband and I stayed for 5 days on our Babymoon and it was a picture perfect home within walking distance of two gorgeous beaches, great restaurants, and beautiful views. We can't wait to come back in a few years with our little one!

We recommend renting a car so you can explore the other side of the island. Maui is a special place! We highly recommend staying at this property as the hosts will make it incredibly easy for you. Jun 27, 2019If you're looking for a slightly secluded location, but still located within a short walk to two of the best beaches on Maui, you can't do any better than this house. We were also pleased to find a convenience store and a couple of nice restaurants all within a mile walk. The bed was incredibly comfortable; the view was outstanding; the house was clean. What more could you ask for? Turtles? We saw 2 of them on each of the visa to the nearby beaches!

Jun 27, 2019Leila's place is a quiet sanctuary. We loved looking out of our windows and seeing beautiful views of the water and colorful flowers! We kept the living room sliding door cracked open at all times to let in the constant and refreshing ocean breeze. The decor is light and airy, the kitchen is a good size for two cooks and has the basic appliances, and having two showers was convenient. We frequently took advantage of the short walk to the beach and Kapula resort amenities (specifically ziplining, putt putt golf, and the cafe). Additionally, the place is a 15 minute drive to Lahaina, which we found to be a fun town with great restaurants and shops.

Jun 27, 2019Great, 2-story condo in a nice area near the Ritz Carlton. Easy walk to the beach where there is a nice path and lots of weddings happening on the beach! Great sunset! The place is clean and decorated well. There is a downstairs shower and upstairs bath/shower. It was nice to have both. Views from the room are beautiful. Great stay and great value!
Jun 27, 2019The pictures definitely don't do it any justice! Such a beautiful and airy villa perfect for two. It's a bit of a drive from the more central/touristy areas but the beach a few minutes walk behind the villa was fantastic and often times not crowded. We found plenty of yummy and affordable restaurants within a 10 min drive if you don't feel like indulging too much within the resort. We had a bit of trouble with pool access but other than that I highly recommend anyone to stay here. We also found ourselves using the downstairs shower most due to convenience after a long sandy day at the beach. We look forward to our next visit to Maui!

Jun 27, 2019My husband and my stay at Leila's place was perfect for us. Good access to public beaches for snorkeling which was great. Walking distance to the pool and wonderful view! Golf a plus which we did one day. Villa is on the 8th hole and great to go out and view sunset too. Jun 27, 2019We have just had a wonderful holiday at Leilas place. It is well positioned in the beautiful Kapalua area of Maui with magnificent views out to the ocean. This property is extremely spacious and well equipped for 2 people and the coastal decor is fresh and restful. Staying at Leilas means you are within walking distance to spectacular beaches, walking tracks, restaurants and a well stocked local store. We love walking so the walk back home up the gentle hill and steps was always a pleasure. Leila is a fabulous host who responds promptly to any communication. All instructions about the property are extremely straight forward and we didn't encounter any issues whatsoever in our time there. I believe this property presents excellent value for money in this exclusive location and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
Jun 27, 2019Leila's place is amazing! My wife and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon and it was perfect. The area is nice and relaxing, which is exactly what we were looking for. Sleeping and waking up to the sounds of the ocean was probably our favorite part. The views from the balconies are spectacular! And it's just a short walk to the incredible Ironwoods beach. We will definitely be back here, it's just a matter of when. You won't regret your stay here!

But West Maui is just awesome and there is no much need to drive around too much if you do not want to Host very helpful !!
Jun 27, 2019We had the most fantastic time and enjoyed the accessibility to kapalua beach as well as the local trails, restaurants and Napili market. The view from our Lanai was beautiful each day and we spotted a few whales on occasion as well! We would definitely stay here again!
Jun 27, 2019The condo is situated at the top of the Ridge which provides wonderful views of the sunrise and the ocean. The location is ideal if you like to walk because you can walk down to the beach, to hiking trails, or even to nearby resorts where we found the perfect spot to watch the sunset each night. There are simple stylish touches that made the home feel modern and cozy, like the chairs by the lanai and the bench seat downstairs. We loved waking up slowly in the mornings to smell of fresh brewed coffee (the coffee maker works great!). There was a convenient beach cooler bag in one of the cabinets and cozy robes -- really nice touches! We had one minor issue that is no fault of the host, and may just be the unlucky weather... It was quite windy in the area our first few nights, so windy that we did not get much sleep. I don't know if this is typical for mid-December, but one other reviewer did mention a similar issue. The wind was howling and whistling through the doors and windows. Finally by our third night, the wind calmed down and from then on everything was absolutely beautiful. It is a convenient quiet location, walking accessible, easy parking, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen was bright and sunny, well stocked with dishes, cutlery and containers for making simple breakfasts and beach picnics. We picked up wonderful fresh fruits at the nearby Nipili Farmers Market (on Saturdays). Aside from the windy days, we had a wonderful stay here and it presents an incredible value compared to the nearby resorts.

Very easy to walk around Kapalua from her home. My wife and I live on Maui so this was a staycation for was and it turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. Mahalo Leila, we will be back.
Jun 27, 2019My husband and I rented Leila’s condo in Kapalua Bay and had a wonderful time. The condo is remodeled and super cute! We were celebrating our wedding while we were there and got married at The Montage. The Montage was walking distance from the condominium. The view outside of Leila’s place is absolutely gorgeous, you can see the ocean from nearly every window. It was the perfect amount of space for Tim and I, and if we stay again in Kapalua we would be delighted to rent again from Leila. If you walk down Ridge Road, it will lead you to a beach with a hiking/walking path. Make sure to take advantage of this! The beach is not crowded, and it feels very local. The hiking path is also a great workout and a wonderful place to check out the sunrise/sunset. Thanks for everything Leila, we had a wonderful time.
Jun 27, 2019Leyla’s place is very nice, airy and has a warm and stylish decoration. We felt at home immediately. The kitchen is very well equipped. The location was perfect for us to explore the northwest of Maui. Spotting whales from the Lanai and the upper balcony is unforgetable for us! The sunsets visible on the property really are spectacular. Communication with Leyla was very easy and clear. Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful place with us. Jun 27, 2019We had a wonderful stay at Leila's place and enjoyed waking up to the gorgeous view every morning. It was great being in a quiet area that's conveniently located to both nicer restaurants (Merriman's, anything at the Ritz) and casual places like Honolua Store - everything you need is there. The place is clean, spacious, comfortable (although the bed is a little soft for my personal preference), and tastefully decorated. We had a few rainy days during our stay but didn't mind at all as we got to enjoy lounging at the Airbnb while drinking wine and still enjoying the view.

Jun 27, 2019Leila's villa in Kapalua is an incredible spot, up on the hill a quick walk from 2 of the world's best beaches. We loved the pleasant breeze through the villa all day & night! The decor was beautiful and everything was very clean. If you're looking for a bit of privacy and want to avoid those 'mainstream' hotels in Lahaina, I strongly recommend staying in Kapalua at Leila's villa.
Jun 27, 2019As soon as we settled in, we were awed by the breath-taking expanse of azure water and sky from the unit's two levels. As a bonus, it is a short walk to the pool, beach and walking trails. We were also pleasantly surprised by it relative proximity to the Ritz Carlton complex and the famed Plantation golf course (where the PGA's year opener Tournament of Champions is held). The unit, which backs onto the Bay golf course, is well kept and spacious with an updated kitchen and second bathroom (the main bathroom upstairs, however, is not, which may be a bit of a letdown to some). The veranda off the living room is a delightful place to have breakfast to the cacophony of cardinals and finches (and a few more we failed to identify). The fairly high-end community where this unit is located is well maintained, secure, and almost enveloped with verdant vegetation.

We were able to walk to great restaurants and even Napili beach. The house was beautiful with stunning views and charming decorations. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Parking was a breeze, everything was easy!

We spent a lot of time in Lahaina as it was less windy and had more sunshine it seemed. I think our only dislike was the bed. The foam topper was a bit lumpy which made sleeping a little uncomfortable at times. Other than that, it was great!

Jun 27, 2019A great getaway in Kapalua. Leila has the sign-up and check-in working perfectly. What ever you would need is there in the unit. The views are wonderful, especially from the bed! The great views are because the unit is up high which means there will be walking up and down hill to get to activities which we grew to enjoy. Kapalua has shuttle service that took us up and down the times we didn't want to walk.

Leila was very easy to work with and provided all of the check in information well before hand so we felt prepared when we arrived - an important factor when you're traveling to various places over the course of a 10 day vacation. The townhouse itself was quite a bit larger than I had expected and had really great views of the ocean and shoreline. If we had had a little more time here, we would've used the shuttle service to venture around the area and see more of the resorts below us...but we'll just have to save that for next time!

Jun 27, 2019By far the best air bnb i have stayed at to date. This place looks exactly like the pictures. The unit backs on to the kapulua bay golf course. The view from the living room and bedroom is of the water. The location is well located within walking distance from the Ritz and Merrimens (best restaurant we went to during our stay). Further, Kaanapali and Lahaina are within driving distance. Best of all, Leila is incredibly responsive. We had to contact her relatively early in our stay about getting into the house and she responded within in minutes. Further, she accommodated us when we asked for a late checkout on our last day (as there were a few days the place was unoccupied following our stay). This really helped us out as we had booked an early half day excursion on our last day and needed a place to shower, change and pack afterwords. Both my bf and I agreed that if we come bacl, we would stay here again. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Leila!

Jun 27, 2019Leila’s place was super stylish. The views are incredible, and it’s a nice, quiet neighborhood. The AC works well, but it can definitely get steamy in the bathrooms if you’re accustomed to exhaust fans that are typical on the mainland. Leila is very responsive and helpful. Be sure to close the door quickly in the evening though, as the locals (little frogs and lizards) like to jump in the door. Overall, it was a great stay.

All the things you'd want in an exceptional apartment all found in the same place: - Beautiful apartment - the pictures cannot do it justice - it's a modern multi-floor apartment. Sliding doors make it so easy to get the breeze in both the bedroom and the living room and kitchen. Porch and patio make it easy to soak up the morning, afternoon, or evening. - Beautiful modern kitchen, including great appliances mean it's easy to go shopping for fruit or local food and enjoy it on your schedule. - Location is spectacular, not only because you've got views, but because the resort association takes care of the grounds around the apartment and in the complex. When you sit on the porch you can enjoy the view in a clean and well taken care of area. - Close proximity to the west-side of Maui, without being in the bustle. Everything from local beaches with great snorkeling, great local food spots, resorts & malls, and quick drives down to the other west-side beaches. When you return to the apartment, you get to escape and go back to a quiet and beautiful view. - The apartment is well thought out and stocked - there is everything you'd need for a long stay including a kitchen with all the appliances & pans & knife sets, fully stocked bathrooms with extra supplies, the linens you need, beach chairs if you need them, binoculars, lots of chairs and couches, great high speed internet & wifi, tvs with good service, multiple bathrooms and multiple sinks, really anytime we needed anything it was likely to already be in the apartment. If we did want to buy something, there are multiple stores a few minutes away. - Leila is a great host, using clear and well tested instructions for getting in and out of the apartment (keys, internet, directions, parking, etc.) and is also very responsive on the platform if you have any questions or changes. She's local which gave us comfort if things went wrong. - We happened to be on Maui when hurricane Lane (which became tropical storm Lane) hit us. Leila was a great host during that time, the apartment felt rock solid and we never had any concern for our safety, and the resort grounds around it were extremely well maintained and cleaned right after the storm. So it's rare, but if something does happen - this apartment that's built so well and is on higher ground, managed by professionals 24/7, is a great place to be. Leila also offered us a place to stay with her (not the AirBnB) if the hurricane hit and we had no where else to go. Thankfully, we were able to stay in the apartment (and Leila was able to extend our reservation) - but that's the true definition of a great host. Highly recommended - couldn't ask for a better apartment or host in Maui. Hands down...
Jun 27, 2019Really nice and peaceful apartment in a beautiful location in Maui. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy a beach holiday including towels, sun umbrella and beach chairs. We particularly enjoyed having access to a really nice pool and bbq area. The beaches that are within walking distance of the apartment are some of the nicest on the island. Overall a fantastic place to stay, would definitely recommend without hesitation!
Jun 27, 2019This place is in a great location with an amazing view of the ocean. The host Leila was super nice and helpful. We got their super early and she made sure the cleaning was expedited so we could get in early. We had our wedding ceremony at nearby Ironwood Beach and everything was perfect for our stay. We will be back. Bonus info: great air conditioning, very clean and well decorated, lots of room, amazing views, nice grounds and landscaping, everything you would need in a place.
Jun 27, 2019Leila’s place was absolutely beautiful. The view is amazing and the place is super clean and nice. We were there during hurricane Olivia and she let us stay until it was safe to drive. This was an absolutely amazing find and everyone should stay here!

Jun 27, 2019I can't say enough good things about Leila's beautiful home in Kapalua. The home is situated on a small hill within the resort so the view of the ocean is magnificent. The interior has a fresh, modern look but still feels very cozy. The location in Kapalua puts you near some of the most amazing beaches in Maui, as well as amazing local restaurants, cafes and shops. My girlfriend and I loved being able to explore so many different areas but also be so close to the beach. We didn't make use of the pool and bbq area but it's accessible for guests. In addition to Leila's recommendations, make sure to check out the Maui Revealed book she has in the living room for great options for dining, beaches, and other hidden Maui gems. The bedroom offers a large comfy bed, TV, and balcony with the same amazing view of the ocean. Other amenities that we enjoyed were the 2 full baths (one of which is humongous), great AC units, dedicated parking spot, and stocked kitchen. Leila was always very responsive as a host and we knew if we ever needed anything, she would be there to help us. Overall, I highly recommend this beautiful, clean, and comfy home to anyone spending time in Maui.
Jun 27, 2019Amazing location. The lanai/patio was a perfect spot in the morning to enjoy coffee and breakfast. The views from both the patio and the bedroom were picturesque. The location is quiet and just what we needed for a peaceful getaway!
