Neighborhood Overview
Surry Hills is a foodies haven - there are heaps of great coffee places and restaurants all within a short walk. Ideally located between the CBD and Centennial Park, Surry Hills is an ideal base location to visit the iconic sights and also catch a cricket, AFL or rugby game at the SCG/Allianz.

Flexible on check-in when possible and have a key safe in case you arrive when I'm at work etc.
Transit
There is a bus stop 10m from the front door which goes directly to Circular Quay via Martin Place. Central Station is a 10 minute walk to get anywhere you could possibly need to, including the airport. Taxis to and from the airport take around 20-30 mins depending on traffic - an uber to the airport is usually the best way to go.

We had a great stay here. Hayley was very easy to communicate with prior to our arrival. The room was spotless and comfortable and the breakfast/coffee was very much appreciated. The central location was perfect for our weekend in the city.
Jun 27, 2019The room was just as described, and was in a perfect location in the heart of Surry Hills. Getting to the CBD, or walking around the neighborhood were so easy from the apartment. Hayley and Jack made my stay really pleasant, with lots of amenities and insights into the neighborhood and Sydney in general. They even went out of my way helping me get to my next location. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Jun 27, 2019The location was great, comfortable bed, close to nice cafes and restaurants, easy walk into the city and to central station. The only issue was the parking, however we parked in a secure car park which was only a 10min walk from the accommodation. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Hayley.

Jun 27, 2019Jack and Hayley have a wonderfully located, comfortable apartment right in the middle of the city. I was able to walk almost anywhere and when that wasn't an option Jack was available to give me some tips on how to reach where I wanted to go (Bus and Train Stations are close by). The place itself is very clean and would definitely stay there and/or recommend it to other people staying in Sydney.

Jun 27, 2019I really enjoyed the stay at Hayley's and Jake's place. They were really helpful and down-to-earth. The neighborhood is fantastic to explore the city. You can do everything by foot, it's safe by night too. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend.
Jun 27, 2019Irresponsible lowest host. "We will now be away for the weekend so unfortunately will not get to meet you! " She sent me this message the day before the afternoon of check-in date, no sorry, no apology, nothing. When the day before I made a final confirmation about check-in, she did not mention anything, I don't know why. I didn't check my e-mail after leaving my home, so I first realized this after arriving at her house. I felt very uneasy, I had to find all things myself. If you need to get away from home, okay, but you should let the guest know at least a few days ago, you are too irresponsible. Also where was "Nutribullet and breakfast essentials"? I didn't see anything, I had only tea and coffee. Also, I left the house before the checkout time, but after that I got a message about checkout. Lowest host.

Uphill climb from Central Station. No aircon but fan is provided for summer nights. Appreciated Jack's fast response to my questions! Thanks!

Molto vicina anche alla stazione 5-10 minuti a piedi. Zona carina e tranquilla con diversi locali aperti fino a tardi. Hayley e Jack sono stati carini e disponibili fin dall'inizio e Jack ci ha dato diversi consigli utili su come utilizzare al meglio il nostro tempo. Caldamente raccomandato!

Jun 27, 2019Hayley's place is very well located, close to Museum Station, which makes it very easy to get to the airport or the city centre. Also close to Hyde Park, Oxford Street but best of all Crown Street - this is a great street with plenty of restaurants! There are also supermarkets close by if required (for fruit / snacks). Place is really nice and quiet, bed is huge and comfy, slept really well. I only stayed 2 nights but enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this place.

The place is easy to find and close to everything I needed. Food, Aldi, buses and a short walk to Central station. I would def stay again.

Great location (10 min to rail station, 1 min to bus, 30 min walk to Circular Quay, and loads of places to eat and drink v nearby), comfy bed in nice little house with good storage space, sofas, wifi, and breakfast essentials and tea/coffee provided... and Hayley & Jack were great hosts and I enjoyed meeting them. Would definitely stay again!

Jun 27, 2019Aunque apenas coincidimos con Jack, estuvo disponible en todo momento para cualquier cosa que necesitásemos. La casa está muy limpia, la habitación suficiente para dos, el baño es compartido, puedes usar la cocina. Muy bien situado, aunque no hay estaciones de tren muy cerca (a unos 10 minutos caminando), pero se puede ir al centro a pie. Recomendaría este alojamiento!

Jun 27, 2019I had a very comfortable stay, the room and the whole house was very nice - nice paintings all over the place. Jack was very friendly. I think that the greatest value is location here, Surry Hills is hip! It's also well connected to everywhere with public transport.

Jun 27, 2019I had a great time at their place, Surry Hills is a great location for exploring Sydney. They are walkable to good restaurants and bars, but also able to get a quiet sleep at night. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable, I recommended staying here if you visit Sydney!

Jun 27, 2019Great apartment in a perfect location for CBD, the harbour and other central sites. Excellent communication with Jack throughout (he was away for most of my stay) ...... free WiFi and access to coffee machine .... would happily book again - great value for money.
