Description

100 year old building with original details in diverse, artsy neighborhood, close to bars, restaurants and 2 subway lines (L and M.) Lots of space and great light, very homey, plenty of books. Great place to try on the experience of living in Brooklyn. If you're staying here, it is because I am away. But I'm available over text and phone and my friend and co-host Amy is often downstairs and can help with any issues. We are close to the L and M subway stops. There is street parking but also street cleaning 4 days a week so you'll need to be on top of the moving your car. With a little planning this isn't too much of a headache. If you arrive late at night, you might find yourself driving around a bit for a space.

Maggie was a welcoming host, her neighbourhood was so much fun. Her place is 2 streets away from this amazing begel deli, and is about 15 minutes to Williamsburg on the train. We spent a lot of time exploring Brooklyn and Manhattan. It's definitely a city I cannot wait to come visit/ live in. Thanks so much for the stay, it was clean and homely. I recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Brooklyn!

This was the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in! The appartment was beautiful - really well styled and felt super clean and taken care of. It had everything we needed and we all felt right at home right away. It's near 2 subway stations that get you easily to Manhattan or around Brooklyn. The neighbourhood is really cool, it's a big mix of cool bars, local businesses and plenty of places to eat around the corner. On top of that Maggie was an absolute star with communication and even though we didn't get a chance to meet her we felt totally taken care of - we'd love to visit again!

I put my Mom and sister up at Maggie's apt for four days. Her apt was in close proximity to the Bushwick neighborhood I live in so it was really convenient. What a gem Maggie apt is. Very nostalgic with vintage relics of that had a 50's contemporary modern feel to it. We are from Texas so the Texas relics stood out. It is an absolutely great location. Very close to the best coffee around, Variety coffee roasters and other great cafe's restaurants and bars in the neighborhood bordering Bushwick and Ridgewood. A highly recommended stay for a cozy, spacious Brownstone style vibe with very thorough communication from an accommodating host.

Maggie's place was my first ever airbnb, and I'm so glad it was! This place was the perfect home away from home for my friend & I, and it gave us a true taste of what living in New York is like! Her home is in a great location only a short walk from the subway, and about a 30 minute trip to Manhattan. The place itself was even better in person! For New York, it was a great size & very cozy. I loved everything about staying here, and I would EASILY stay here again in the future. As for Maggie, she was a great host! I knew if I needed her, she would be quick to contact. I had such a great time, and Maggie's place really helped make that happen.

The Bleecker House has a unique character. It brings back memories of visiting an old friend living in this type of house in the area when I was young. It also holds special memory because my fiance and I eloped and used The Bleecker House as our home. The apartment is clean and comfortable. The internet connection is fast and reliable. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the necessities for cooking. I enjoyed the varieties of tea that Maggie has. The area in a mix of residentials and stores. It is also a mix of old and new. There are many eateris and bars within walking distance. A large supermarket is just a few blocks away near Myrtle Ave. Parking could be an issue but the L train is only a few blocks away. We hope we could come back here on our anniversaries. :-)

This was our first trip to NYC and Maggie's place added to the adventure of it all. Communication was great with Maggie. Her place was clean and comfortable. The community was friendly and we would definitely stay there again!

Maggie's place was so beautifully decorated. Her home is clean, lots of sun coming in. Apple TV, wifi, and a cute kitchen made the stay worthwhile. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was fully equipped with anything you might need to cook at home during your stay. Would definitely recommend to someone! 30 mins from Manhattan by Uber - didn't get to experience public trans but other reviews have.

Maggie's place is really charming and definitely what I was expecting from a Brooklyn apartment. It is located close to two metro lines (street is very calm though) and it's quite easy to move around Brooklyn, as well as to go to Manhattan or other areas of NY.

Maggie's place was AS billed, very "homey", clean, comfortable, and excellent location! Diners, bars, markets all within walking distance and only a flew blocks from subway service to the city! We shall return! (turntable and record collection was outstanding!)

If you are thinking of staying here, do it! Maggie and Amy are easy to communicate with, very accommodating, and hospitable. I can’t say enough about their place... so much character and the perfect location to catch the subway. The beds are very comfortable, and the space is full of plants and cool art. No hesitation staying here again!

A beautiful apartment in a great part of Brooklyn. Everything you could wish for on your doorstep... bars, restaurants, grocery stores etc. Maggie was great at communicating and made check in really easy even though we arrived past midnight. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Maggie's apartment is easily the most beautiful AirBnb I've stayed in. Impeccably decorated yet extremely homey, the apartment was very well kept and peaceful. It's located a short walk to the L and M lines, making it easy to get to other parts of Brooklyn and into Manhattan. Maggie is a very kind and generous host who responded very quickly to any questions we had (and if you're lucky, you might get to meet her adorable dog too!). Co-host Amy downstairs was also very helpful and made check in easily accessible for us. 10/10 recommend and hope I have a chance to stay in Maggie's place again in the future.
