Neighborhood Overview
Poble Sec is a neighborhood with a rather special character, very different from the rest of Barcelona. The streets of Blai and Plaza Del Sortidor are the main streets, where you can find many bars and spectacular restaurants. Public transport in the area is another plus. It has the metro stations of Poble Sec, Paral-lel and Plaça Espanya from lines 3 and 2, which will take you directly to Las Ramblas, Passeig de Gràcia and Sagrada Familia. Many buses run through the Avinguda Paral-lel and the Aerobus, direct from el Prat Airport. It has stop in Plaza Espanya just 10 minutes far from home.

Montse was such a welcoming host and we had a fantastic stay at her place! The apartment is upper nice and we loved the cat and the turtle. The neighborhood is full of small bars and cafes and it's not too far from the beach. We really loved staying here and we would definitely come back!
Jun 27, 2019Gospodarz bardzo miły! zero problemów, mieszkanie idealne na podróż do Barcelony, świetna lokalizacja, tuż przy głównej drodze, w związku z czym nie bylo problemu z transportem z lotniska. Mieszkanie schludne, dużym plusem jest prywatna łazienka, do której można wejść z pokoju. Jedynym problemem był nasz późny przyjazd oraz utrudniona komunikacja z gospodarzem (nie zostaliśmy poinformowani o numerze domu) na szczęście wszystko dobrze się skończyło i znaleźliśmy swoje cudne mieszkanie na 3 noce ;)
Jun 27, 2019Our experience with Montserrat and her apartment is positive. We've had a pleasant stay end we felt very welcome. Montserrat is a lovely host. The room is exactly like it's advertised. The apartment is located right in the city centre of Barcelona. It's close to places like shops, the beach, monuments, parks, site seeing, places to go out, etc. Moreover there's an easy airport connection to the apartment. We are happy to recommend this place to everyone!

Jun 27, 20192 jours agréables dans l'appartement de Montse et de Palomita (son chat). Barcelone est une très jolie ville. Montse était extrêmement sympathique, elle nous a fait à manger à notre arrivée et était souriante. On était seuls dans l'appart par la suite mais bon ça n'était pas dérangeant. Petit conseil néanmoins : évitez de prendre une trop grosse valise que vous devrez monter et descendre sur 5 étages.

The flat is located in a non-touristy neighborhood, with plenty of local bars and good food places, and well connected to the public transportation system.

Jun 27, 2019We stayed with Montse for two nights and had a lovely all round experience. Montse was super welcoming and helpful, the flat is lovely and cozy and exactly as described. The neighborhood is not overrun by tourists like many other parts of the city and is in walking distance from many great sights and landmarks. We would definitely stay with Montse again and are more than happy to recommend her place.
Jun 27, 2019Nous avons été très bien accueillies par Montce qui est une personne très aimable, l appartement typique espagnol est très agréable.le luxe une salle de bain privée. L appartement est situé à 4 mn du métro, il y a tout à côté avenue parallèl êt a 10 mn à pied de Plaza espana d une côte êt le port de l autre. Montce nous a laissé l appartement pour nous seules les 3 jours. La chambre est très agréable et le lit deux places très confortable. Wi fi. N oublions pas qu il y a 5 étages sans ascenseurs..mais montce nous a aidé à l arrivée êt au départ pour tout porter. Très bonne entraînement après les délicieux repas. J y retournerais avec grand plaisir!!!! Muchas gracias montce.
Jun 27, 2019Il soggiorno da Montserrat è stato molto piacevole. Lei è davvero gentile e disponibile. Ci ha permesso di usare qualsiasi cosa era in casa. L'appartamento è abbastanza pulito e la camera è luminosa, così come la si vede in foto. L'unico aspetto negativo sono le 5 rampe di scale strette e buie.
Jun 27, 2019La camera e' semlice ma confortevole, corrisponde esattamente alla foto. Io ho dormito benissimo, il materasso e' tipo futon..C'e' un piccolo bagno con doccia annesso alla camera, ma per il wc bisogna attraversare un piccolo soggiorno, Per noi non ci sono stati problemi, la padrona di casa aveva orari di lavoro tali che non ci vedavamo mai, ma quando rientrava o si alzava nell'unica altra camera dell'appartamentino, era molto discreta e non faceva (Website hidden by Airbnb) nostro arrivo, non potendo essere presente,ha lasciato le chiavi da un suo amico negoziante che e' stato facile trovare, proprio vicino alla casa, naturalmente ci ha ha avvertito prima tramite sms. Appartamentino piccolo e semplice ma carino e pulito, l'unico difetto tanti scalini da fare senza ascensore, ma se non si hanno problemi di gambe o di cuore, sono un bell'allenamento per tenersi in forma nonostante le mangiate, oltretutto sono rampe di scale molto tipiche e interessanti..L'esperianza in generale e' stata senz'altro positiva, l'ospite , gentile e discreta si e' preoccupata di facilitarci le cose..Il posto e' anche vicino alla metropolitana o naturalmente anche ai bus. Wi-fi penso che vada. l'ospite ci ha lasciato la sua password, ma poi non abbiamo piu' provato perché stavamo molto fuori ..

Jun 27, 2019Montserrat是位很好的女主人,热情好客,亲切地招待我们,提供茶点和咖啡,为了不打扰我们休息还搬去外面吃饭^^ 和她聊了很多,也学到了很多,过得非常愉快｡房间与图片描述一致,很干净舒服｡不便之处是WIFI不是很稳定,以及房间在很高的4楼且没有电梯｡不过Montserrat有帮我们搬行李减轻我们的负担,感谢Montserrat｡我推荐不携带行李箱的游客入住~
Jun 27, 2019Very cosy apartment in a nice and local neighborhood. Montserrat was a really nice host and we felt very comfortable in her apartment. Location is perfect and just 2 min to metro and bus. She has an awesome juice machine to make fresh orange juice:) Highly recommended!
Jun 27, 2019Montce a été très gentille et accueillante, c'était un plaisir d'être dans son appartement qu'elle nous a gentiment laissé pendant notre séjour de 5 jours, nous l'avons vu que quelques fois et c'était pour qu'elle nous donne des informations sur la ville de Barcelone! L'appartement est très bien situé, à deux pas du métro! Les escaliers de la résidence étaient bien étroits, et il y à 5 étages à monter! Mais nous étions prévenu, c'est écrit sur l'annonce, ça nous a permis de bien digérer le repas avant de dormir! Et si on a une grosse valise Montce est prête à nous aider dans les escaliers ! Muchas gracias Montce, espero que nos vemos un otro dia por el pais vasco!! :) Hechamos de menos palomita !
Jun 27, 2019El piso es como un 6 sin acensor pero es más, las escaleras de acceso a la última planta son infernales. Tiene por ambos lados unos patios que no son aptos para personas con vértigo y si a eso le sumamos que la barandilla está suelta por sitios... El edificio en general es muy antiguo y tiene muchísimas grietas y El Barrio tampoco es de fiar. En resumen, no nos quedamos en el alojamiento finalmente.

Jun 27, 2019Монсерат очень позитивна и отзывчива, весела и приятна в общении, деликатна и ненавязчива. Встретила нас, несмотря на поздний заезд. Квартира соответствует фотографиям и описаниям, все чисто и аккуратно. Квартира расположена в старинном доме в хорошем и тихом районе. До метро Poble Sec три минуты ходьбы.Для нас оказался необычным подъезд, лестница и правда узкая и высокая, об этом все тут пишут, если есть проблемы со здоровьем, лучше не рисковать. Удачное расположение квартиры позволяет экономить на проезде, до площади Испании и фонтана Монжуик десять минут, до площади Каталонии чуть подальше. Рядом много кафе и магазинов. Из-за рабочего графика Монс, мы видели ее очень редко, поэтому фактически вся квартира была в нашем распоряжении. Это был наш первый опыт с airbnb и он оказался удачным.
Jun 27, 2019Appartement bien situé et calme, prix raisonnable pour Barcelone, par contre il serait bon qu'il soit entièrement rénové, la seule salle de bain est très petite, avec une arrivée d'eau plus que faible, Montserrat nous avait "laissé" l'appartement sauf que divers passages impromptus ont été gênants.
Jun 27, 2019Nice place and lokation. There was a lot of small cosy events around in the area. We felt we were a part of an normal day of a spanish city. Everything was clean and in good condition. Will definitely know where to go when we come back to Barcelona.
Jun 27, 2019Asunto oli isompi kuin odotettiin, positiivinen yllätys. Asunto on katutasosta 5. Kerros, rappukäytävä aika kapea, joten isojen matkalaukkujen kanssa matkaavat varautukaa urheilusuoritukseen, kahdestaan helpompi kantaa laukut ylöspäin. Hyvällä alueella ja erittäin hyvät kulkuyhteydet metrolla/bussilla ja lyhyt matka myös kävellen monille nähtävyyksille. Huoneessa erikseen oma kylpyhuone, suihku hieman pieni mutta hyvä. Huone sopiva kahdelle ja säilytystilaakin on. Montse on todella mukava ja huomaavainen, alusta asti tunsi olevansa tervetullut ja kotoisat oltavat. Montsen kanssa asuu myös ihana Palomita kissa! Ei voi kun olla tyytyväinen ja suositella kaikille! Varmasti palataan takaisin ja majoitutaan Montsen luokse :)
Jun 27, 2019It's a small and really cute appartment on the 4th floor. The walk up the stairs is a bit tough, wouldn't recommend if you have weak legs. We found everything as it looks on the pictures and had a lovely time here! The location is central and really close to montjuic. Would totally recommend this place!

Pokoj jen pro 2 + sprcha, toaleta společná s majitelkou a kočkou. sada ručníků, fén, mýdlo a šampón, čokoládka na uvítanou, prostor v lednici, ráno připravená káva, tiché místo. trochu náročnější bylo vylézt až do 4. patra po úzkých schodech. Hostitelka je velice příjemná osoba, získali jsme díky ní spoustu informací od "místňáka", zapůjčila nám průvodce (i když v němčině)...doporučuji.
Jun 27, 2019Tanto montse como su gato son muy agradables. El piso en si es pequeño pero suficiente. Apenas tuvimos contacto con Montse pero el piso nos vino genial tanto a mi pareja como a mi. Hay que decir que el edificio es viejo y las escaleras no estan en el mejor estado. Hay unas grietas que debieran ser solucionada por la comunidad pero es ajeno a la estancia en si. Disfrutamos mucho del barrio y descansamos muy bien.

She ia really nice person not only as a host! 위치는 poble sec 과 스페인광장 사이에 위치해서 대중교통을 이용하기 좋고, 몬주익 성에서 가깝습니다. 합리적인 가격에 현지 느낌나는 집에서 머물 수 있어서 기분이 좋았습니다. 다만 샤워기 수압이 정말 약하고 한국식으로 5층? 6층? 에 엘레베이터가 없어서 불편했어요. 하지만 집주인 몬세(몬세라 x)는 정말 착하고 친절한 호스트입니다. 다시 가게 된다면 또 머물고 싶네요. 아 그리고 집에 거북이와 고양이가 살고 있어서 더 그랬는지 전체적으로 매우 편안하게 머물수 있었습니다.
Jun 27, 2019Ich war mit meiner Freundin für 4 Nächte in dem Zimmer/ Wohnung. Montserrat hat schnell auf Fragen per SMS geantwortet und hat uns zu individuellen Zeiten ein- und auschecken lassen, alles sehr vertrauensvoll. Die Wohnung hat eine gute Lage, von der man viele Sachen erreichen kann (Gastro, Kultur etc.). Ihre Katze war echt süß und wir haben sie kaum mitbekommen, da sie die meiste Zeit nebenan schlief. Die Beschreibungen von Montserrat passten sehr genau auf das, was wir vorgefunden haben. Das einzige negative war die Dusche: wenig Wasserdruck und der Duschkopf tropfte. Dennoch.. Es war unsere erste Airbnb-Erfahrung und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Jun 27, 2019My friend and I stayed with Montse, she was SO kind and welcoming. She allowed us to do laundry, offered us coffee when we arrived and in the morning, and was always available to offer help when asked! And thank you so much to Palomita and Margaret for making our stay even more enjoyable!!!! Location is very close to many attractions, was not difficult to find our way around. No elevator so many steps to walk up and down - but for most this is not a problem! Neighborhood was a bit noisey but of course this can not be controlled. Overall I would recommend this place! Jun 27, 2019We would recommend the apartment of Montserrat. It's a nice but basic apartment. There are many stairs to get to the apartment, so if you have weak legs, don't go to this apartment. Montserrat is a very kind person. We thought the bed was a bit hard. We enjoyed our stay at the apartment of Montserrat and would recommend this to friends.

Jun 27, 2019Es ist eine schöne, saubere Wohnung. Leider im 4ten stock ohne Aufzug gelegen und deswegen war auch der Wasserdruck beim Duschen etwas gering. Leider konnten wir Montserrat nicht persönlich kennenlernen, da sie übers Wochenende verreist war. Generell kann man die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Jun 27, 2019Die kleine Wohnung von Monserrat liegt sehr zentral mitten in Barcelona, im 4. Stock. Das Treppenhaus ist mit großem Gepäck kaum zu begehen. Das schafft aber mit der kleinen a Wohnung zusammen die besondere Atmosphäre. Hier lebt man mittendrin! Küche, Dusche alles da was man braucht Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, sehr empfehlenswert!!

Jun 27, 2019The stay at Montserrat's place was exceptional. The flat itself was cosy and really nice to live in. The neighbourhood is perfect because it is calm but still very close to the most vibrant parts of the city. Montserrat's positive energy and helpfulness made it feel like home. She even gifted us with perfectly moist traditional Spanish tortilla. Palomita is the best fluffy cat we have ever seen!
Jun 27, 2019Montserrat is a wonderful host. I felt more like her flatmate rather than a lodger. She was very friendly and accommodating, from staying late to let me in after my flight had been delayed, to making me a lovely coffee, offering her food and letting my friend stay for a couple of days despite of a late notice. The room itself is big, bright and the bed very comfy. Location is great too, still very central yet more authentic and quieter than the touristy parts of the city. Loads of little cafés, bars and restaurants (including healthy and veggie that I enjoy) nearby. I hope to be in Barcelona again soon and stay with Monsterrat again.
Jun 27, 2019We absolutely loved Barcelona and loved staying at Montserrat's lovely apartment! Super easy to get to from the Airport, just one stop on the Aerobus. It's central and walking distance from everything - 30mins to the beach, 10mins to the park, 50mins to Sagrada Familia and 20mins from the main shopping district, nightlife and great cafes and restaurants. Her pet cat and turtle were so sweet and we basically had the apartment to ourselves as Montserrat works long evening shifts. We loved cooking in the kitchen and having a washing machine was really appreciated. Lots of great little fruit and veggie market downstairs which was perfect for our vegan diet and super affordable too! We definitely recommend this apartment and location for any singles or couples! The large bed was super comfy, the wifi was welcomed and we truly felt at home.

Jun 27, 2019The room is very nice and clean, we slept very well and didn't hear a noises but it's good for few days because the house is to the 4th floor without lift ( and the stairs are too small), it's impossible to bring up a big suitcase and also because there's not a wardrobe.

Jun 27, 2019Montserrat is very nice and friendly. She even came to the hospital with us as we had an emergency. We were very thankful we had her with us! Like some people said, there are quite a lot of stairs before getting to the apartment but it's worth it if you can manage.

Jun 27, 2019Montserrat a été très gentille avec nous, elle nous a donné de nombreuses adresses et bons plans cependant nous avons rencontrés quelques soucis.. (Nous y sommes restés deux semaines) Le matelas est très dur et donc pas confortable du tout. Bien que la SDB soit privée elle n'était pas pratique -> très petite douche et le rideau inefficace. Enfin n'avons pas appréciés le fait qu'il n'y avait ni poignée ni clé pour fermer la porte de notre chambre, un cale-porte était à notre disposition mais malgré ça la chambre restait entrouverte... L'appartement a besoin de nombreuses rénovations Bien que cette expérience fut mitigée, nous remercions Montserrat pour sa disponibilité.

We love everything in our stay: the comfortable bed, the cozy kitchen, the clean private shower room, the pretty cat Palomita and the main thing is warm and friendly atmosphere! It is really nice location, 15 minutes walk from the Plaça Espanya where is the Aerobus stop and the shopping mall Arenas with the big supermarket. Also the apartment is very close (3 minutes) to metro station Poble Sec so it is easy to reach all attractions. Our stay at Montserrat's lovely apartment will be the warm memory of our trip to this beautiful city!
Jun 27, 2019Montserrat's place is very close to the metro, plaça espanya, the magic fountains and various shops, restraints and supermarkets - however is relatively quiet and easy to get a good nights sleep. It is very clean and exactly as described on airbnb. Montserrat is very friendly and very helpful. However the flat is on the 4/5th floor without an elevator. Overall I would definitely come back and Montserrat is a great host.
Jun 27, 2019Montserrat is a great host. She took good care of us. Although the room had no lock we felt good and secure at her place. Room looked exactly like on pictures. The biggest pro of this place is location, it's in the city center very close to the bus stop 46 that goes straight to airport. The only con is that the apartment is on the 4th floor that actually felt like 7th with no elevator. The corridor is quite narrow so if you are traveling with big bag or child that might be a problem.

Appartment is located on 4th floor but, before you get to the first floor you have to climb to the entrance floor and another one which is the main floor...then you hit the first floor! Good place for a couple of nights.
Jun 27, 2019Es war eine tolle Unterkunft und Montserrat war super nett! Das Treppenhaus war sehr eng,hatten zum Glück nur Handgepäck. Ansonsten war es eine gute Airbnb-Wohnung. Immer wieder gern:)
Jun 27, 2019Le contact avec Montserrat a été très cordial, c'est une dame qui aime échanger les expériences de voyage et accueille ses hôtes en toute simplicité et sincérité. La chambre était comme décrite dans l'annonce, rien de cacher. La douche certes un peu petite est privée et suffisante. J'ai lu d'autres commentaires de personnes qui se plaignaient de la pression d'eau, c'est vrai mais l'appartement est situé au 4em étage d'une ancienne maison. Même si la pression d'eau est faible, elle est tout à fait suffisante et puis ce n'est pas un hôtel 3 étoiles mais bien une chambre chez l'habitant. La cuisine était à notre disposition, un espace réservé dans le frigo et remise d'un double des clefs. Montserrat s'est faite très discrète alors qu'elle est chez elle, l'emplacement de l'appartement est à 600 mètres de la Placa Espanya, tout à fait idéal pour visiter la ville. Magasins et petits restaurants divers à proximité. Bref, excellent séjour chez Montserrat et dans l'esprit original d'airbnb. Un très très grand merci avec un excellent souvenir. Nous espérons y revenir!

Jun 27, 2019Also...ich war mit einem Freund von mir bei Montserrat für 4 Nächte. Palomita (die Katze) und Montserrat waren sehr nett und wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr typisch und sehr sehr sauber. Montserrat ist ein toller Mensch mit einem großen Herz und ich möchte gerne noch mal bei ihr übernachten, wenn ich mal wieder nach BCN fliegen werde. Bezüglich der Lage: top, sehr zentral. Bezüglich der Wohnung: man riecht das besondere Flair einer echten spanischen Wohnung. Wenn man Herzproblem hat oder wenn man sich nicht bewegen kann/will, ist die Wohnung vielleicht nicht zu empfehlen, da Montserrat am vierten Stock ohne Aufzug wohnt. Wir haben kein problem damit gehabt aber falls man nicht laufen kann/will muss in Voraus es wissen. Für mich ist ein 1,0 (mit Lobe). :)
Jun 27, 2019Great location close to Placa Espanya and in between two Metro stations. If coming from the airport, take bus #46 (or the Aerobus if you want to pay more) as they both stop at Placa Espanya. Lots of fruit & vege shops around and good places to eat. Not in a touristy neighbourhood but still close by to the Magic Fountain, the National Art Museum and Montjuic hill. We felt safe walking around the neighbourhood at night. As mentioned in other reviews, the apartment itself is in an older building up 5 levels of stairs (1 flight up to the Principal floor then 4 more levels) which are quite narrow. We felt fitter towards the end of our stay! The room is airy, spacious and clean, the kitchen small but equipped and Montse was so kind to offer the use of her washing machine. We had a great stay in Barcelona with her and Palomita the fat cat!

Jun 27, 2019Wir haben 4 Nächte bei Montserrat verbracht und haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt. Sie hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns mit Tipps für Restaurants in der Umgebung versorgt. Die Wohnung hatten wir während der ganzen Zeit fast ausschließlich für uns alleine (nur geteilt mit ihrer süßen Katze Palomita ;) ), da Montserrat woanders übernachtet und tagsüber gearbeitet hat. Die Wohnung liegt in einer Wohngegend von Barcelona, wodurch wir auch ein bisschen das typische Leben mitbekommen haben. Trotzdem ist es nicht weit bis zu den Touristenattraktionen. Wir sind während unseres Aufenthalt fast ausschließlich zu Fuß unterwegs gewesen. Alles in Allem können wir den Aufenthalt bei Montserrat nur empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder bei ihr buchen!

Also, Montserrat always replied to every message we sent in well under an hour and was always very kind, happy, and helpful!

Jun 27, 2019Very charming apartment not very far away from the centre, well connected with local transportation. Montserrat is a great host and she gave us absolute privacy. Beware if you come with heavy luggage the apartment is located on the fourth floor with no elevator. Beside that, totally recommended
Jun 27, 2019Montserrat is very nice and her cat is super cute! We spent a good time in Barcelona. But the hot water may not enough for two people in Winter. If you are going to stay here with your friend, we suggest that you take the shower 25mins later after your roommate showering. Besides that, everything is good! We strongly recommend this apartment!

Jun 27, 2019Montserrat has a quirky but spacious and clean flat in an old block, four floors up by stairs. A mixture of vintage and re-cycled stuff, it was comfortable and quiet ... we loved it ! The position is amazing - just ten minutes walk from Poble Sec Metro - and it's very reasonably priced.

Jun 27, 2019Montserrat was a fantastic, warm and kind host in our visit in Barcelona this weekend. She made us feel very welcome and at home and offered help in directions, tips and things to do. I recommend her flat for anyone who can walk with no issues up some flights of stairs. The house is lovely and has all you need to cook or stay there.
Jun 27, 2019Die Unterkunft ist in einer sehr guten Lage und typisch spanisch eingerichtet. Montserrat war sehr freundlich zu uns und hat uns gerne alle fragen zur Umgebung und Unterkunft beantwortet. Leider gab es kleine kommunikationsschwierigkeiten. Außerdem hatten wir erwartet, dass wir die Wohnung eher für uns haben, jedoch war Montserrat oft vor Ort. Das Zusammenleben mit ihr war jedoch unkompliziert und freundlich. Schade war, dass der Balkon, der in der Anzeige genannt wird an ihrem Zimmer ist und wir ihn daher nicht genutzt haben.

Jun 27, 2019Wir waren für 4 Nächte bei Montserrat. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und auch gut gelegen. Man kann die Wohnung leicht vom Flughafen erreichen und zu Fuß ist man ca. 20 min von Barcelonas Zentrum entfernt. Es ist aber auch Busstationen und die Metro direkt in der Nähe. Als wir ankamen haben wir von Montserrat direkt ein paar Restauranttipps bekommen und auch einen deutschen Barcelona-Reiseführer für Anregungen. Montserrat ist eine sehr sympathische und hilfsbereite Person. Einziger Nachteil: die Wohnung liegt im 4. Stock und ist über das sehr schmale Treppenhaus nach 104 Stufen zu erreichen. Also ist ein bisschen Sport auch im Preis mit drin. Wir würden jeden die Wohnung und ein Besuch bei Montserrat weiterempfehlen.

Jun 27, 2019Everything you needed in Barcelona. It was close to the port which is nice if you needed to catch a cruise. It's in a nice quite place and the bed is comfortable. I would stay here over a hotel everytime.
Jun 27, 2019Si bien la habitación y el cuarto de ducha son pequeños, estuvimos muy cómodos en nuestra estadía, ya que Montserrat fue muy amable y cálida con nosotros, nos dio buenas recomendaciones para recorrer Barcelona y nos permitió usar la cocina libremente. El departamento está muy bien ubicado, ya que a 5 minutos caminando teníamos una estación de metro (aunque a algunas atracciones también podíamos ir a pie) y el aerobús tiene parada a unas pocas cuadras.

Jun 27, 2019We had a great stay at Montse's, sadly due to flight changes we did not manage to meet her in person. However, we were very happy with the home - we basically had it to ourselves! It was clean, tidy and a great location, only 15 min walk from the centre and only 5 min walk from one of the best streets for local tapas. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Jun 27, 2019We were absolutely stunned by this apartment, it was so cosy and cute, just amazing! We also appreciated it being so close to the city centre yet in a quiet street, away from the noise. But the best part was the host - she was so lovely, gave us tips on what to see and where to eat, was very flexible about when we can arrive and leave, responded quickly and also introduced us to her cat and turtle :) Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and we recommend staying here to anyone and everyone visiting Barcelona :)

Jun 27, 2019Montserrat was very sweet and welcoming. My daughter and I really enjoyed staying at her place. She suggested great places to visit and was very helpful. The place itself was clean and had a very nice vibe. Busses and metro were close by, but everything was a walking distance. :)
Jun 27, 2019Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Montserrat est très souriante, discrète, et on se sent vite à l'aise chez elle. L'appartement est situé à 20minutes du centre à pieds, à 45minutes de la mer, et très proche d'un arrêt de metro. De plus, Montserrat nous avait mit à disposition un ventilateur ce qui était très sympa de sa part. Cependant, à noter que la douche à une faible pression et que l'eau est soit très chaude ou soit très froide (on s'y fait rapidement) + pas d'accès à ce qu'on pourrait penser être le salon qui est en faite la chambre de Montserrat et par conséquent pas d'accès au balcon. Pour conclure, ce logement a un très bon rapport qualité/prix et je le conseille fortement.
Jun 27, 2019Ich habe mit meiner Schwester einige wunderbare Tage in Barcelona verbracht. Montse war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns super Tipps gegeben. Der Weg nach oben ist bei heißen Temperaturen etwas sportlich aber das ist zu schaffen. Die Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Und vor Allem ist sie super gelegen, der Stadtteil hat uns sehr gefallen.
Jun 27, 2019Montserrat's place was exactly as advertised, it is a private room with a private shower and a toilet. The living room/kitchen are shared with the host of the house but as she made us feel very welcome in her home we did not mind (Email hidden by Airbnb) munication with her was good and we got responses quickly. The room itself is not huge but it is comfortable and the place was clean. The flat itself is located in Poble Sec which is a very nice area with a lot of bars and restaurants, close to the busier areas of Raval and Gotico but has still not been invaded by all the tourist masses. One thing to keep in mind is that the flat is on the top floor which you can only access by stairs. We didn't mind the extra exercise but someone else might! Added bonus is that the flat is also shared by a lovely older cat and a tortoise. I would recommend Montse's place to anyone travelling to Barcelona and wanting to get an affordable place in a good location, great value for the price!

Jun 27, 2019She is flexible with check in and check out, also helping as offered me coffee and communication was quick with her. She also gave us bag and umbrella for beach. Her cat is sweet as my girlfriend liked to play with her and put some fresh water for her. location is perfect. But on downside technically it's on 5th floor and no elevator, so in this hot and humid weather it was tough to get in the room. The bathroom is really small and no or less water if washing machine starts running. So, in overall it's good for a solo budget traveler but not for couples.
Jun 27, 2019The place is as advertised: clean, sunny, and with an access to complete amenities. Important places such as supermarkets, restaurants, and metro stops are within a walkable distance. Be aware that the place is at the 4th floor (5th if you count from the ground floor) and has no elevator. This was no problem for us, but could be one for travelers with multiple luggages. Overall, a pleasant stay.
Jun 27, 2019Pomimo tego, że wizzair zmienił nam plan lotu Montserrat okazała się na tyle pomocną i wyrozumiałą osobą, że nie mieliśmy problemu z przyjazdem i zamieszkaniem u niej. Montserrat jest bardzo ciepłą i uśmiechniętą osobą. Miło przebywać w jej towarzystwie. Bardzo cenne były jej uwagi o tym, gdzie robić zakupy, gdzie zjeść lokalne pyszności i co zobaczyć w Barcelonie. Pokój, w którym mieszkaliśmy, jak i całe mieszkanie było czyściutkie, wygodne i ciche, a osobny prysznic przy sypialni był ogromnym atutem. Bardzo rzadko jeździliśmy metrem czy autobusami, gdyż mieszkanie Montserrat położone jest w centrum Barcelony. Wszędzie mogliśmy zatem dojść na nogach, zwiedzając przy okazji urocze zakątki tego miasta i poznając je od mniej oficjalnej strony. Montserrat, jeszcze raz dziękujemy za twoją gościnność, pomoc i wyrozumiałość. Mam nadzieję, że jeszcze kiedyś przyjedziemy i zamieszkamy u Ciebie. Ściskamy mocno. Ania i Mariusz.

Jun 27, 2019We can highly recommend choosing to stay with Montserrat when you're coming to Barcelona. The apartment is located pretty central close to Placa Espanya, right around the corner to Montjuic. The place was tiday and equipped with anything you might need on a short trip, the room was cozy with a very comfortable bed and a little private bathroom. Montserrat is a super friendly host with great tips and a taste for details. Her cat Palomita is mega cute and friendly as well. 10/10 recommend, would come back any time!

Jun 27, 2019El apartamento es como se indica en la descripcion, tiene buen acceso al metro, alrededor hay bares y restaurantes, tener claro el tema de las escaleras porque si son bastantes, en mi caso no tengo problema con eso pero para alguien con problemas de movilidad o con varias maletas si puede pasar un mal rato.

Jun 27, 2019Die Wohnung ist wirklich sehr zentral, die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Die Tage ohne Fitnessstudio wurden durch die sehr hochgelegene Wohnung kompensiert. Das Badezimmer ist kleiner als erwartet, aber für ein paar Tage völlig ausreichend. Nochmal ein riesen Dankeschön für die schöne Zeit.

Jun 27, 2019Quite a good experience. The place has everything we needed and the host, Montse, was very helpful with our needs, although she works most of the day and we didn't see her much. Location is great for a bus ride from airport, and there's metro station in 3 min, making all the spots available in 10-20 minutes trip. There's no elevator, so be prepared to climb upstairs with bags.

Jun 27, 2019Montserrat was a lovely host who made us feel very welcome in her home. She was very helpful in giving us local eateries and tips around Barcelona. She was accessible and enthusiastically assisted with any issues we had. Location is great with easy access to both the city and airport. The apartment was very warm and inviting, with many special touches to make us feel comfortable. She works late hours but goes out of her way to be warm and accommodating. Also, the home houses a beautiful cat!

We had an excellent time in Barcelona and Montserrat helped that happen. Very much recommended!

The apartment itself had a lot of cool decorations and it was nice to have the shower in our room. The apartment was also very close to many metro and bus stops, making it easy to get to sights like Park Güell and La Sagrada Família. I would stay here again!
