Welcome to Brooklyn! For rent is a lovely and private bedroom in the second floor of a recently renovated townhouse. You will have access to two full bathrooms, wifi throughout, and use of the stainless steel kitchen. The bed is brand-new and is a memory foam Queen bed; super comfortable! The room also contains a small dresser, lamp, and plenty of closet space. The house is located a 3 minute walk to the Myrtle Ave stop on the J/M lines which will whisk you to Manhattan in 3 stops. It gets great sunlight and is on a quiet street. Nearby are many shops, delis, restaurants, and transportation. It is a very hot, up-and-coming area of Brooklyn, so more artsy and creative types are moving in everyday. This apartment has been renovated from top to bottom and it is practically brand-new. So many cute shops and delis nearby. Coffee house down the block. Great juice and deli place near the subway. And Williamsburg, with all its awesome restaurants and bars, is just a short bus ride or walk away, about one mile west -- can't beat the location!

Transit
I am as close to the subway as you can get, without the awful subway noise. The J train runs express during rush hour, and the M will take you straight to midtown / near Times Square / Union Square. If you want to visit Williamsburg, we're just a short Uber ride away (about $8). In warmer months, we also have CitiBike stations nearby so you can easily bike there or even into Manhattan via the Williamsburg Bridge.
Access
This apartment is a 4-bedroom, 2 full bathroom space. The other 3 bedrooms are rented out to international young professionals and students, some here for several months at a time. They are all very respectful and quiet people. We have a lovely backyard space with lots of seating and string lights. There's also a washer and dryer in the basement (coin operated). We have a cleaner come 2-3x per week to clean the common areas (kitchen, bathrooms, and living room) to ensure a clean space. However, we do ask everyone to clean up after themselves and leave the space as they found it, as it is a shared space.

Jun 27, 2019Very nice room and location. I found it pretty easy to get around the city from this apartment. Subway / restaurants / grocery stores were all very close. About a 20 minute journey to get into Manhattan. The only downside was that the people staying in the other room were loud at times. Other than that it was a good place to stay.

We were given clean, precise details on how to get into the apartment and the room, which, like the description says, is big and airy and roomy. The whole apartment is clean and has been updated and was very comfortable! It's also located very close to the Myrtle station with access to the M and J trains! Jun 27, 2019This place is well connected and welcoming!only 20 minutes from Manhattan and a stone away from a big market, shops and few food places. Brooklyn is now my favourite area to stay, loads of things to do 10/15 minutes away. Would definitely return!

It's a short walk from Myrtle St station on the J, Z and M line and there's a supermarket, some delis, bars and food places nearby so you've got everything you need! The room is really nice and the bathroom is well appointed. I definitely recommend staying here!
Jun 27, 2019The room is spacious and I like that most about the place. The wall is pretty thin like Amaya had mentioned and the noise woke me up as my room (no.2) was closed to toilet and next room. Other than that it is a good stay.

Staying at this apartment felt a bit like being in a hotel with the most comfortable airbnb-bed I've slept in so far. Very clean and comfortable place that has everything you need. I can definitely recommend to stay there!

Jun 27, 2019Amayas flat consists of four seperate rooms, we stayed in one of them. There is also a big living room with a kitchen and two bathrooms. In the other rooms there were several other guests from all around the world. The flat was tidy and well furnished. We never met Amaya but she had some interesting tips for us. Unfortunately after returning from going out the keys for our rooms were not there where they had supposed to be, twice. It was unpleasant but could be solved fast by one of Amayas friends.

Aucune relation avec notre hôte, communication uniquement avec les autres voyageurs. Pas de livret d'accueil! Mais des post it un peu (Website hidden by Airbnb) cuisine est équipée le frigo organisé. Allergique aux bruits s'abstenir car les murs sont aussi épais qu'un feuille de sopalain. Donc on entend tout et tout le monde. Réveil avec la lumière du jour car les rideaux ne sont pas occultants. Bon pour le prix doit-on avoir avoir des exigences? Vous vous ferez votre opinion!

Jun 27, 2019The room was perfect for us! Clean, and comfortable! The temperature was great in the apartment. We only ran into the other tenants a couple of times. Loved the ease of checking in, as we didn't get to the place until very late! Close to the subway, and a nice neighborhood. Overall awesome! Would definitely stay again!

The flat is located in a very quiet street which is great as NY is a very noisy city! Super close to the public transport- subway, bus stops.. (literally a 4 min walk). We had an amazing time. Amaya was a great host, very good communication, clear instructions, everything was so easy!! So I'd definitely recommend it and I'd definitely go back if I visit NY again in the future. We haven't met Amaya, but the contact with her was fast and without problems. We could left the luggage in the appartment the last day as our plane was at 10p.m. I truly recommend.

Jun 27, 2019Amaya's place is very close to the metro station. There are some good coffee and hipster shops around the neighborhood. With that said, there's a lot of construction currently which makes it a little bit difficult to go around. Everything was clean, Amaya was immediately responsive to doubts, and the check-in/out process was very smooth, but next time I'll probably get a place nearer Williamsburg or in Manhattan.

Wir waren 5 Nächte dort, es war sehr sauber. Es gibt eine Küche mit Kühlschrank und weiteren Geräten, die verwendet werden dürfen. Kaffeemaschine ist auch vorhanden. Würden es immer wieder machen

Jun 27, 2019Good-looking, practical appartment. A bit smaller than shown in pictures, but still very adequate. We had noisy roomates unfortunately, but if you're lucky, there won't be too much coming and going. We were alone in the evenings for dinner. You hear the subway every twenty minutes or so - make sure to bring earplugs. There's plenty of room to settle your clothes and personal stuff in the room. Floor is a bit dusty (but I'm picky on cleanliness...). Some kitchen appliances weren't working properly, but the host was informed and intends to replace them. Fast and easy communication with host. Good location, just a few minutes walk to the nearest subway station. Security seemed perfect. Good price compared to other similar options. Overall comment: We're very satisfied and we recommend it!

There's also a ton of cool shopping and restaurants near her place. Amaya was extremely accommodating, easy to communicate with, and generous. Jun 27, 2019Check in and out was very easy. Amaya was a great host and replied fast when I had questions for her. She also recommend a lot of great places that you indeed must check out! She lived within a 5 min walk to the subway which was very convenient. If you’re looking for a couple of drinks there’s a good amount of dive bars if that’s something that you’re into. Her place was lovely and clean we would definitely stay here again!!!

Não conheci a anfitriã pessoalmente, mas tudo que foi solicitado por e-mail ou telefone fomos atendidos prontamente. Recomendo o local e me hospedaria novamente visitas futuras.

We needed to drop off our bags a few hours earlier then check-in and Amaya was quick to respond to our and super accommodating of our request. The space was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Surprisingly quiet neighborhood, easy to fall asleep if you're not used to noise. Definitely would recommend it for the cost.

I didn’t get to use the common area much because I was out all day. But looks fully stocked for kitchen use. The only down fall was the restrooms. They were pretty dirty. If you are looking for a comfy and reasonably priced place in Brooklyn this is the place. Amaya was a great host!

It's also very easy goes to manhattan and if on one hand you may need to change of metro, the bright side is that you will not need to pay twice. The place is clean, charming, the street is good, clean and quiet.
Jun 27, 2019Amaya was a great host! The check in process was really convenient and simple. She was thoughtful in providing tips about the area and in providing quick and great service. We hardly saw the other guests, providing a private and quiet environment. The bedroom and kitchen area were perfectly clean, though the bathrooms got a bit dirty (which should be expected when two bathrooms are shared between four rooms). The location was as convenient as possible, and helped us feel like we got a local's experience in Brooklyn. It was perfect for our stay in New York! Thanks Amaya!
