Jun 27, 2019The perfect location in Williamsburg, close to everything you need and steps from metro. Ivan is friendly and communication was easy. The air conditioning was much appreciated during the July visit. There is construction nearby but I didn't hear any of it, just made the building slightly hidden from one of the angles outside.
Jun 27, 2019The location of this apartment could not be better. It is close to many attractions and to public transportation. The room was clean and comfortable the window air conditioner unit was a great amenity for a stay during the summer. I did not have use of the living room because it was being remodeled but it seemed like it will look great when it is finished. Look forward to seeing updated photos.

Jun 27, 2019Very well located and comfortable for that price! Ivan and his (Hidden by Airbnb) are a cool bunch of guys, they are welcoming and you can have nice conversations with them. The flat is quite small but cosy (they were giving a little lifting to the living room), plus there's a cooler and a fan in the room, which is really useful in NYC in the middle of the summer! And you're just one block away from 3 subway lines that take you in the heart of Manhattan (or you can walk 5-10 minutes to enjoy Williamsburg's atmosphere). More than a pleasant experience, I would recommend this Airbnb to everyone looking for a stay in Brooklyn :)

It's just a short ride to Manhattan so it's perfectly located! The room is quite small and the apartment is located in the basement of the building. Unfortunately it is not really clean...

La habitación esta impecable, la cama muy cómoda, el internet funciona perfecto y el lugar muy tranquilo, ordenado e higiénico. Jun 27, 2019This was my first time to use Airbnb. I was a little worried before traveling, but it turned out to be perfect!!! It was a very great room, clean, beautiful with good neighbors. It felt like a home. Ivan was super nice and handsome! He even bought a new heater for us, because the old one is a little noisy. I will highly recommend this place if you want to go to NY. It is 5 min walk away from subway. There is a big parking lot nearby as well. Thanks!

Jun 27, 2019Ivan and his friend were really nice and easy to deal with. They're very flexible as I left my bag outside the room after check out to tour the city. The room and bathroom are clean. I didn't use the kitchen as I was always out but it looked clean as well. The place is a 2 min walk to the closest MTR so it was convenient to get to the city. Ivan will respond to your questions right away.

The place itself is very cozy and close to a subway station. It is very quite at night, which makes it a great place to stay for light sleepers in a sleepless city.

Jun 27, 2019Ivan's place is in a great location, near Berdford st in Williamsburg (that is full of restaurants and bars) and a train station that takes you directly to downtown manhattan. He's a wonderful host and a very nice person. The room was smaller than I expected (I couldn't determine it from the pictures) but this is not a problem if you're going alone. I went with my partner which made it a bit uncomfortable. I had a good time overall.

I would recommend staying here as you are very close to the city and have great restaurants in the neighborhood. The room and public spaces were kept clean. I will definitely be back.

Jun 27, 2019The convenient thing about this place is just the location. The apartment is in a basement, dark, with no windows at the entrance, kitchen and bathroom. Needs some fresh air. The bathroom is a bit running out and not clean enough. The room was tiny, dark, and with no closet. I had aunts in my room for 3 days. I've also founded objects under the bed and under the shelf from previous guests. Other (Hidden by Airbnb) were also eating my food from the fridge. All the reviews are great, so i don't know if i was unlucky, but i must say that Ivan is a good guy and communication was great. Even if the price was affordable, surely this flat needs to be well organized to be better.

The place is just what you need. Other roommates are in the actual apartment but I didn't see anyone. I stayed for a night . Jun 27, 2019The location of Ivan's apartment is more than perfect. You are literally 3 minutes walking from the metro station, which is 15-20 minutes ride to the heart of Manhattan. The room was clean and comfortable. The AC was more than perfect for the summer days. Ivan is very friendly and cooperative. I will surely stay in his place again.

Good value for your dollar if you’re looking for a place on the cheap to stay in Williamsburg. Only had one problem — the room and bathroom weren’t as clean as we would have liked them to be. If this 1 issue is dealt with, this place is a definite 5/5!

Jun 27, 2019This would be a good deal if it was twice as cheap and had an easy cancellation policy. This is not a private room by any means, this is a shared student apartment with very thin walls and a lot of traffic and a bathroom used by at least 3 other men and every woman that visits them. The location is great but it doesn't justify the price point, amenities or conditions. The space heater was like a jet engine, but I guess it's necessary to filter out roommates chatting in the lobby at 2 AM or the terribly annoying bass echoes from the hipster dance club next door. I didn't even sleep for 15 minutes that night. For travelers looking for a quiet place to sleep it's a 2/5 - if you're going to get wasted and try to get tail, this is the perfect 3.7/5 if you don't tell them it's an airbnb. Please lower the price, I've had way better experiences in better locations and conditions for a much lower price.

Jun 27, 2019This is a great value. It's not particularly fancy but the space offered what I was seeking this past weekend as a solo traveler in NYC: a clean space in a convenient location. While it took a little while to get in touch with Ivan at first, once I got in touch with him, his directions about how to access the building, etc. were very clear. There were other guests staying here in another room but our paths never crossed and I didn't have a chance to meet Ivan in person. It was a very quiet environment which worked perfectly for me (I was essentially just looking for a place to sleep, get ready in the morning, etc.). It's an easy walk to the Marcy Ave subway station and feels like a safe neighborhood of Williamsburg. It's a cheap Uber ride from Manhattan, which is where I spent most of my time during the stay. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

It was a great price point for the city and the host was extremely accommodating. Not to mention it’s located right by the train, so you can easily navigate the city to and from. I will definitely be back and using Ivan’s place as my preferred stay again!

Jun 27, 2019Ivan’s place was not as expected. While it was in a convenient location, it was uncomfortable because other rooms within the Airbnb were being rented at the same time. I did not have the ability to lock my room and therefore felt uncomfortable leaving my belongings in the room. I would not stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019I stayed at Ivan’s place for three days and two nights and I would not recommend this place for longer than that time frame. It was easy to check in and Ivan was responsive. However, I was not aware that there were two other Airbnb guests and no option to lock my door. Thus, I just carried my important belongings throughout my trip. It felt like a security hazard. I didn’t mind this other issue, but others might. My first morning here, I noticed at least 10-15 ants all along the baseboard and walls of the room. When I texted Ivan about the ants, he said that he would take care of it right away. The next morning when I was scheduled to leave, I noticed more ants along the baseboards of the room. Again, I did not mind this. It is New York and pests are everywhere. However, if you’re deeply concerned about ants or other critters, I would probably avoid this place.

Ivan showed great hospitality and had tons of ideas where to go and what to do around Brooklyn and Manhattan.
