This is a private unit ALL TO YOURSELF and you WON'T be sharing this with any strangers during your stay. The "INSTANT-BOOK" function is enabled so you may instantly book the place if the dates you want are available. A representative will be assigned to check you in in person. Please be sure to notify us of your arrival times so that we can hand the keys to you personally. This pad accommodates 2 adults comfortably but a max of 4 overnight. Any more than 3 adult guests overnight will attract an extra $19 per night, per additional guest. The sleeping arrangement for the 3rd and 4th adult would be on a 3-seater sofa bed which folds out to a queen with extra quilts, pillows, sheets & covers. A great comfortable little place right smack bang in the centre of circular quay. Contact with host/s was quick and easy too
Jun 27, 2019Our stay in Jared's apartment was exactly what we needed. It's a very comfortable space for two people. There is a big window that provides a nice view of the surroundings and a lovely breeze. We didn't use the rooftop pool (too cold) but it was gorgeous! The kitchen is very small but it's well set out so there is still plenty of bench space. Being on a high floor the hot water doesn't run for particularly long but it's fine if you leave a bit of time between showers. Checking in and out was super easy! The building is in a wonderful location, we walked easily to Haymarket, Darling Harbour, the Rocks, and Circular Quay. TIP: If you are driving into the city, this is not the place to stay. Parking was a nightmare. Jared does warn that parking is expensive (he mentions $69 in the apartment description) but what I didn't realise is it's not just a $69 flat rate for more than three hours, it's $69 the first day, $50 overnight, then $69 for the next day. In the end we just gave up trying to find cheaper parking and paid. Other than that our stay was wonderful. Thank you Jared for being a wonderful host!
Jun 27, 2019The studio's location is very accessible. Its a few minutes walk from both Wynyard and Circular Quay train stations. That was a major win for us. We were able to visit one place in the morning, then return and feed the kids and visit another place in the evening/night. Jared provided us plenty of everything described in the listing. You can even see Sydney Eye Tower from one of the windows. No balcony though.

Jun 27, 2019Great communication from Jared at the time of booking and leading up to our stay. The apartment was perfect for us as our weekend was spent mainly in the Rocks and Circular Quay area which was about a 5 minute walk. Pub across the road has all the sports channels (perfect during finals footy) and does a pretty good meal as well. There is a little noise in the morning from the Light Rail project works but overall value for money and location were perfect.

Our check-in and check-out were easy and our requests were handled in a helpful and friendly manner. I highly suggest this location and the price can't be beat!

Jun 27, 2019A smooth pre-stay process with an easy check-in and out procedure. We were a bit late arriving due to flight delays but that was no problem. There were a couple of hiccups that were dealt with quickly and I believe will be sorted for future guests as a result. Fabulous location (a bit of street noise, but that's what you get being in the centre of the city!) and I felt safe in the apartment which was comfortable.
Jun 27, 2019If your are spending time in circular quay or the rocks this place is well located for the price. It accommodates 4 people with the fold out bed and has everything you need. Our arrival was easy and communication was great. The place does need a really good clean, other than that this was a great pick.
Jun 27, 2019Location was good and price was reasonable, but I would not stay here again. The television only had three channels that worked and none of the lights in the kitchen were functional (so I didn't even try to cook or use anything in the kitchen, thus can't be sure if the appliances work). The bathroom flooded when you took a shower no matter how careful you were, which is probably why there was a lot of mold in the bathroom, particular between the sink and shower. In general, the unit was quite dirty.
Jun 27, 2019The location is unbeatable. Bathroom needs an update but other than that we truly enjoyed our stay. Ate breakfast looking out to the city and enjoyed some sunshine at the rooftop pool. Quiet building mostly businesses so no waiting for elevator. And it was more than enough room when my parents joined us for a few days. Host was very prompt to respond to inquiries and worked with us on our early arrival. 2 big thumbs up!

Walking distantie to darling harbour, the rocks, CBD etc. Easy contact with Jared to align arrival times and follow up questions, very helpful and on the ball. Small, slightly dated appartment. But great bed and fold out bed, all amenities in place.

Jun 27, 2019Perfect location - 5 mins from Circular Key and the Sydney Opera House area. Noisy, but to be expected for the location so not a problem for us as we wanted to be close in to everything. Communication was very good, and we were able to pick up the keys with no issues. Little smaller than expected, but absolutely fine for us - a couple. Only real problem was a very soft bed which did not help my back issues. We would stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019Location, location, location. This apartment is close walking distance to anything you want to do in the city. The room is high enough in the building that we slept comfortably with the window open without city noise. The room is spacious, and the bed is very comfortable. The bath and kitchen are small and dated, but perfectly functional and it was no problem for us. I think this is a great deal for a fabulous location. Don't miss the views from the roof.

Jun 27, 2019great location within minutes of circular quay, the rocks, and everything the city has to offer. the check-in and check-out processes were smooth and easy. two notes i would share are: 1) there is a recurring tapping/hammering sound that occurs throughout the day and night which i could not identify--perhaps a building-wide issue--that was a bit loud. i had to use earplugs to get to sleep as the noise was a bit disruptive. 2) i didn't end up using the pool because i was afraid i'd be locked out of re-entering the floor from the rooftop stairwell. it appeared to require a key to get back on the 11th floor, but the only key i had did not fit the lock. something to be sure to ask upon check-in so you can be sure to enjoy all the amenities the apartment has to offer.
Jun 27, 2019This is a perfect little apartment centrally located in Circular Quay. quick walking distance to Opal station which gets you to the train and ferries around Sydney Harbor. Amazing little breakfast/lunch shop downstairs for amazing coffee and food. Wifi was great and apartment was clean. The rooftop pool was small but nice. great place to stay with my family of 4: two parents and two kids.

Minutes away from the main ferry terminal, which is the best way to reach the different neighbouhoods in the bay, and also very close to the city center CONS: The appartment is no more than a large hotel room. It is aged, lacks any charm, and is not really good if you want to do some cooking. If your aim is to spend time outside and not inside it's perfectly good

Jun 27, 2019Our family of 4 (2 6yo kids) stayed at the apartment for 9 nights. Whilst it's a simple studio, the apartment was everything that we could need. Well equiped with cooking, bathroom, washing and cleaning stuff which made the longer stay more comfortable. The communication with host was good- whilst we didn't see any host it did not hinder our stay. The only things to keep in mind at this location is inner city street noises- more on the weekends at night. And also apartment is right next to the elevator which does have an interesting sound but doesn't take long to get used to. Location in the cbd was ideal and super close to public transport options and sight seeing activities. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would recommend to others

Jul 27, 2019We LOVED this place! It was sparkling clean, central to the ferries, the Rocks, the botanical Gardens and the Opera House. We appreciated the size, with two big windows on the top floor and all we needed for a very comfortable stay. The water was good and hot, the wifi was good, the bed comfortable. We would definitely go back and will recommend Jared's place to friends.

Jun 27, 2019This small apartment is centrally located to everything we wanted to do. With 3 of us, the apartment was filled but we weren't in Sydney to hang around the apartment! With Woolies just down the street, we were able to get heat 'em and eat 'em food that worked great in the kitchen. The downside was the 24 hour construction on the rail system on the street below. Incredibly noisy, so if you are coming in the next few months bring earplugs. The rail system will be great once completed though!
Jun 27, 2019Jared's apartment is in a perfect location so close to the centre of Sydney and also to the train stations. It is ideal for a couple. Small but we found it ideal for us and definitely value for the cost. The bed is very comfortable. It is a bit noisy at the moment with road construction going on but I still slept very well and I'm a light sleeper! Just used ear plugs. The bathroom is a bit dated but the shower works well. Check in and out was easy and apartment very easy to find and secure. Would definitely stay again if returning to Sydney. Jared is a great host!

Jun 27, 2019Jared's place was pretty spot on, I'll go on the things I like such as the location it was a 10 min walk to circular quay the main sightseeing suburb. The room had probably one of the most comfortable beds I've been on haha. I the only big thing that I advice or maybe they could improve was parking (I know it wasn't mention), I got a rental and it was difficult finding parking overnight in the city that wasn't over priced. I assume since it was a studio the apartments probably had their own parking but that wasn't the case. Overall I Recommend the place.

The bathroom is a bit small but it worked. The bed was comfy and there were plenty of pillows and towels.
Jun 27, 2019This is the best location you can ask for. You're in the center of everything. Apartment is nicer than what you would get in a hotel room. They're doing construction a street over for a light rail, so ear plugs are necessary. But if you're looking for something that's affordable and in an unbeatable location, then you won't be disappointed.

Jun 27, 2019The main bed was super comfortable and the place was clean and just what we needed. Close to all the transit and sites. The shower wall doesn't come out far and there is no curtain to prevent splashing, so you'll need to wipe down the toilet and floor after showering. Bring your own hand towel and wash cloth if you use one. Also, it's on a heavily used road and the noise is constant. Light sleepers won't rest well.

Jun 27, 2019Very cute studio apartment within walking distance of everything you need. We caught the train from the airport to Circular Quay and it was only a 5 minute walk to the apartment. The only drawback was luggage storage - we were unable to leave our bags before check-in time. This is understandable, given that it is an airbnb and not a hotel, however it was an inconvenience and added cost for us to use public luggage storage. The check-in process was easy and the apartment itself was perfect for a weekend away. Very small and basic but the bed was comfortable and the location couldn't be beaten.
Jun 27, 2019Jared's apartment is very well located. You can see the Opera House & Harbor Bridge everyday coz it's just a 10min walk to Circular Quay. Very accessible to tourist spots within the city, walkable or within 1-2stops from Circular Quay or Wynyard Stations. The space is enough for us 5 (2adults, 1 teen, 1 child & 1 infant). The place is clean, with every basic thing provided. We did not cook though, so we were not able to use the oven. It was a bit cold though during some nights since it's winter & we were not able to find a heater. Tried to adjust the thermostat to 20 degrees but it turns off. It's more of an airconditioner. But it was fine & we didn't bother to ask Jared anymore since we are outside most of the time. I highly recommend this place in Sydney. If we'll be back, I hope to book this place again.

Jun 27, 2019The studio apartment was really cold at night, as the room wasn't heated and only had a tiny portable heater. This was made worse by the fact that the second doona was really thin, so didn't keep us warm at night. The room was also quite noisy from the streets. Otherwise a very central apartment, very close to circular quay and most other parts of the Sydney CBD.

The description and the instructions he gave were very accurate. Jared, while we did not personally meet him, was very accommodating and prompt with all our queries via email.

Jun 27, 2019The location is good, walking distance to opera house and royal botanical garden and ferry terminal and also train station. Air con with an old system so it didn't cold like usual in a daytime, and it makes outside colder than inside.. But ana gave a quick response to check.
Jun 27, 2019The place is well located, close to food and amenities, and within a short walking distance to the quay. Jared responded very quickly and key collection was easy and efficient. Only issue we had was noise. The pub opposite was blasting loud music, especially on Saturday night, till 12:30am. Street noise starts in the mornings. The facilities in the apartment are complete and comfortable.

Jun 27, 2019Apartment is conveniently located within a short walk from Circular Quay. Baggage storage company just down 2 blocks away. Open from 8am - 5pm at a cost of $13. This was handy as we arrived early in the morning and wanted to go to the zoo for the day before checking in the late afternoon. Communication with our host was prompt and they were flexible with check in time. The apartment was exactly what I expected. Very spacious for central Sydney. Opening window to let in fresh breeze. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in . Better than most hotels.

Jun 27, 2019Fantastic location. Within walking distance to many places of interest. Getting grocery was such an easy feat!Can save a lot on transport. We checked in late and Ana was very kind enough to accommodate my boy & me since I was my first time using Airbnb. Ana was very sweet and helpful in!!! That really makes us feel so welcome! I have read about other feedbacks about noises. As for me, I felt the noise level was not as loud as what others claimed. Since we were living right at the heart of the CBD, we do not expect total silence like living in a cave. We actually enjoyed the random sound of siren from ambulance, party-goers chiming to Christmas songs. It really represents a true heart of a city! A big thumb up for the cleanliness of the places. Not a insect to be found! The air-con system was great! Discover that there is no shower curtain. Not sure if it is to deter people from taking long shower. Maybe having a simple one will be helpful to prevent unnecessary splashes. Just need to put a gentle note to remind to conserve water! Thank you so much Jared for your prompt response and Ana for your great hospitality!
Jun 27, 2019Very nice place, cozy and well-equipped. The apartment is close to shopping mall, Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, etc. We had a great time there, and we'll recommend it to friends.
Jun 27, 2019It was our first experience with airbnb. Our place was still spacious for a family of four. Great location and good security. Everything we ever needed was there for us. Out host was nice and kind too. The place is a bit old, otherwise I will give four star out of five.

Note ahead of time that the owner gives a warning that the ventilation isn’t great and be careful cooking food—-he said you would have to pay for it if the fire alarm went off while cooking. Other than that it’s in a great location for touristy sights in Sydney

Jun 27, 2019This is a great location! Close to the cruise docks, ferry and the train. We walked to the opera house and had fun exploring the area. Took the train to other places as our main transportation, including to the airport at the end of our stay. The appartment has lots of room and fully stocked kithcen. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of towels. A washer and dryer was a bonus. Great place and location for the price!

Jun 27, 2019We would not recommend staying here at all. For just $10 more you could stay at the Marriott across the road and enjoy a clean room. The apartment was not properly cleaned: gaps between cabinets and white appliances showed piles of dust and dirt; tiles missing on shower exposed mold; stains were all over the walls and there was an intense chemical smell throughout the apartment. The location was perfect, but it seemed obvious the host was cutting corners to produce a profit. We love staying with Airbnb all around the world, but the lack of care and attention to detail in this unit is unacceptable.

Everything we needed for a short stay and the bed was very comfortable which helped since this was one stop of many for us on a bucket list trip to 'the other side'. A great way to get the city feel without the big hotel costs and really get a feel for the city. We had a great time.
Jun 27, 2019Jared’s place is in a wonderful location, 5 mins walk to most places! A lovely space for an over night trip to Sydney. The only drawback is if sleep if what you want... bring ear plugs- the noise from the roadworks went the entire night. Otherwise, lovely space- reccomend!
Jun 27, 2019Myself, my partner and our two boys (11 and 6 months) stayed for 4 nights at Jared’s apartment. PROS.. Location is fantastic, close to Circular Quay which was great for us. Size of the place was very comfortable. Air conditioning works really well. Kitchenette is well equipped for a short stay (small fridge, sink, microwave, kettle, toaster) Beds were comfy and sofa bed had been made up ready for our stay. WiFi was a great plus, and although we didn’t use it much it was nice to have it. Check in was easy and the communication was excellent. CONS.. Condition of the place left a lot to be desired. There was left over dirt on the carpet (bits and pieces, food, pieces of crayon) when we arrived. The bathroom needs to be stripped out and replaced, there are tiles missing, the bath tub is in terrible condition, there’s visible mold, the shower screen does nothing and you end up with a completely wet and slippery bathroom floor every time it’s used. There’s a bunch of exposed wires that have been carelessly taped to a skirting board in the kitchen area, fun when there’s a crawling baby exploring the place! Air con, while it worked great, the dial is broken so its hard to know when it’s on or off. I’d recommend a set of ear plugs for anyone staying here as there’s road works outside at the moment so there’s a bit of noise, as well as the apartment sharing a wall with the elevator shaft and a fair bit of noise coming from the roof (top floor apartment). Overall we had a great trip but for the money we spent we could have stayed in a nicer Airbnb (as we have in Sydney before).

Jun 27, 2019Perfect location. Great value for money. Bed is soft and cushions are comfy. Big leather couch opens to sleep two more. Kitchenette is functional with toaster and kettle and basic tea/coffee on hand. You are literally minutes away from circular quay, opera house and shopping. Only downside is that you are opposite a pub and it can get noisy late into the night as patrons leave plus the lift mechanisms seem to clunk so may not suit if you’re someone that needs a dead quiet space to sleep.

Jun 27, 2019Hi Jared thanks for having us Your light filled comfy studio apartment was perfect and a great location in Sydney and even better for the circular quay and the rocks area. Jared’s studio apartment is a lot bigger than most expensive hotel rooms in the area too. It is clean with all the major and minor amenities you need for a stay in the city It is located in a beautiful building with quiet and friendly neighbors. Check in was super easy and Jared was very quick at replying to any messages and requests. Jared warned us that there is some city construction close by but we barely heard it and it made no difference to getting around the area via car or walking. We hope to be back at Jared’s place soon thanks for having us.

Jun 27, 2019房子位置不错,离各大景点都挺近,去哪里步行坐车都可以,出行是很方便的｡只是房子本身有点旧,有看到蜘蛛网和小蜘蛛,厨房有很多工具都没有,切菜刀都没有一把只有一把小刀,做饭不是很方便,也没有洗碗机可用,有红酒杯却没有开瓶器,冰箱坏了,在入住期间漏了一地水,窗帘也坏了｡入住建议问清楚房东是否已解决以上问题｡

Jun 27, 2019This cosy unit is suitable for 2 people, 3 at a pinch. It is clean, comfortable and close to Circular Quay. We didn't cook in the kitchen, only prepared cereal for b'fast, and made tea and coffee. Being winter, we made use of the convection heater when we returned from an evening outing. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom quite modern and sufficient.

(Which the made the understandable clause about "fines if you make noise" a bit hypocritical) Bathroom could do with some basic renovations, tiles fixed/replaced etc. Loved the arch windows high ceilings, lots of light.

Jun 27, 2019Really good location, walking distance to circular quay & wynyard station so really handy for travelling around for site seeing. Apartment was as expected. WiFi didn’t work properly meaning had to use my 4G majority of the trip but have mentioned this to Jared so hopefully will be sorted. Communication was good, Ana responded quickly and gave clear instructions with photos so that was helpful. Thought it was a bit harsh/ strict for check out times as we asked for a possible late one (only an hour or two- check out is 10am) & it was a flat out strict no, but never mind! Was an overall good stay & would stay again, recommended to everyone

Jun 27, 2019Great location in Sydney. About a five minute walk from the harbour. It’s a small studio great for one or two people. There is a washer/dryer that I found super helpful since I ran the half marathon while I was visiting. It’s a good spot to stay a couple days in the city.

Jun 27, 2019Awesome location. 5 min walk to circular quay. Place is prob only good for immediate family as not much privacy but was perfect for us. The only thing I would have liked was a top sheet on the bed as a quilt is too warm but no sheet is too cold. Bathroom was a little grubby but I guess with a quick tern around of guests it may be hard to maintain. All over VERY good value for money and we will stay again one day

Apartment is very clean and had everything we needed. Check in was easy and Jared is very responsive. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for basic accommodation in a great location.

Jun 27, 2019Great location and communication was great! I appreciate that they let us check-in early, and it was nice of them to offer to make the sofabed ready prior to our arrival. I was never offered that at other places before. Maybe a bit pricey considering space, but probably it's partially due to the sofabed being open. Many restaurants and stores nearby. We didn't cook, but wish there was a coffee maker. Overall, a great stay!

The apartment was as described, and perfectly located near Circular Quay. Air conditioning was great to have during the 97 degree day and evening.
