Kai's place is exactly as its shown in the pictures. Great location, you can do an afternoon walk along Ala Wai Canal, friendly neighbors, walking distance to Waikiki Beach. Not easy for parking if you are considering renting a car, closest is the Zoo parking. Kai is very responsive and allowed me to check out late. Will be back!
Jun 27, 2019This place was great. location was perfect. walking distance to the beach and all that Waikiki has to offer, great restaurants nearby too (misubi cafe iyasume, marakume udon). the studio is tucked away in a gated residential alley that gives comfort and security. the studio itself offers everything you should need for a getaway in Oahu, name the amenity and I bet you this has it. also found out that the appliance next to the microwave is a dish dryer. The studio doesn't come with parking but I never had a issue with that. I was always able to find parking in the surrounding area or on ala wai blvd but be careful not to park there Mon and Fri morning learned that the hard way. If you don't like the hassle of looking for parking Honolulu zoo offers convenient parking at a dollar an hour and let's you add more time from your phone and is only a five minute walk from the studio. if youre staying for a week or longer I recommend the Waikiki banyan parking it's right across the street from the studio but be cautious if you have a tall vehicle you won't fit ( had a wrangler and didn't fit). I highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in Waikiki to check this place out. only negative thing I have to say is lack of stove top for home cooking, but it won't be needed with all the onolicious food in the island.

Kai was a really good host - ensured we had all the information required to check ourselves in/out with ease and messaged during our stay to ensure everything was ok. We would definitely recommend Kai's condo!

Jun 27, 2019Fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kais place, it was so close to the beach, shops, public transport and restaurants. Kai made it very easy and stress free to get in and it is immaculately clean. We had issues with the wifi dropping out however Kai got on to it the second I mentioned it and arranged the password for the 5g wifi which worked perfect after! The only thing I could note is the place could do with a few more cutlery/kitchen items but it was not a major issue.

Jun 27, 2019Kai's place was accurately described. It was well-put together, super clean, and located at a very safe and convenient spot in waikiki, 2 block from the beach. She is very quick to repond with very detailed instructions. She was very nice to let us stay for a few extra hours because our flight was late in the day. She also let us barrow her parking space which i guess happened to be available at the time. Overall, it was such a great and seamless experience, and I would definitely stay here again when I'm back in waikiki! Thanks Kai for everything :)

Jun 27, 2019My boyfriend and I stayed overnight only to have a closer drive to the airport in the morning. We ended up loving the space and location. You're only a short drive or even walk from everything downtown. We did have a rental car, so the parking situation was a little tough, but Kai even offered to let us park in her spot overnight. Cute little studio place that had everything we needed for the night!

Kai was easy to contact and gave us clear instructions on how to get there ect. Everything was clean and tidy and exactly as described. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again.

Jun 27, 2019Had a great stay here at the beginning of our trip and then returned for a final 2 nights at the end before returning home. Really loved the place and I am so glad we came back at the end. The studio is perfect for a couple and the location is great. Easy walking distance to everything you need. The aircon is also a life saver in the Waikiki heat. Also enjoyed being able to do washing cheaply and easily while on holiday.
Jun 27, 2019Kai from the time I booked this trip was in contact regarding my needs and expectations. This little studio felt like my home for the last 9 days and I was heartbroken to leave. Within walking distance to everything in Waikiki and the location to the rest of the island is prime as well. The room is nothing spectacular in itself so if you're going to Hawaii to watch tv then find somewhere else. But if you just need a place to sleep and take a shower this is the spot for you. The security gates left us two young girls feeling so safe and the neighbors who reside there were humbling and full of love welcoming us back soon. Thank you again Kai. We will be back. Thank you for sharing your amazing home.

Jun 27, 2019We had a great experience at this location. We were in walking distance of the entire Waikiki district, which made the beach, eating, shopping and catching the bus very easy. The Bus was great. We got to every place we wanted to see including the War in the Pacific museums from the bus stop on block from the apt. The shower is made to accommodate tiny people but we managed. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Mahalo nui loa ia eo for sharing your studio with us.

Close enough within an arms length to the central bustling city life, but still quiet enough to retreat when wanted. Ideal for those who plan for long day trips and come home to rest after a day in the sun.

Jun 27, 2019Great location, very close to shopping, dining and Waikiki beach. Kai answered our texts within minutes and was very helpful and kind. The studio was just as it appears on Airbnb, clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the building was quiet and peaceful, just a couple of blocks away from the main street that has shopping and dining. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Laundry machines on site were also an added plus! Great place to stay!

Jun 27, 2019The room worth its price but has its drawbacks. It has a large fridge, I believe it is too large for the small room. When it is working, it is loud and disturbing, which shouldn't be a problem if it wouldn't be right in front of the bed. I would change it for a smaller and quieter one. The room gets really hot even in winter, but if you open the door, neighbors might walk in front of your bed, as the room is on the ground floor, next to the private coin laundry situated at the back of the building. It has an A/C unit, but it cannot substitute fresh air. Maybe a curtain on the door would solve that airing problem. You might need your own beach equipment, beach towels, chairs, etc. The kitchen equipment is very basic, there were only bowls, no plates for example. The unit has a combined microwave/oven, so even if you pack full your large fridge, you won't be able to cook too much. There were no sponge for dishwashing. But for its price, you will hardly find a better place in downtown Waikiki. Besides these things, we enjoyed our stay, and it is really close to everything. If you plan to spend your whole day visiting Waikiki and nearby places, and only return to the room for sleeping, it is going to be fine. It was clean, and Kai was really good at communication. Always answered to every messages in minutes. Wifi was fast enough. We didn't have a car for a long period, so we didn't have to hassle with parking, but it could be a problem, although as I have seen, in nearby streets there were usually few free places, so I believe you will find one spot eventually, in few minutes walking distance.

Kai is a great host, he checked in on us and was very responsive to our questions during our stay. We definitely recommend his place to anyone looking for a cozy and clean stay that is within walking distance to the beach. Mahalo Kai!

Jun 27, 2019Our stay was wonderful. Kai went above and beyond making us feel welcomed and at home. We were provided beach towels and little provisionary items that made our stay that much better. The location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere we needed without any problem, and Kai checked in with us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely rent from them again the next time we are in Hawaii.

Jun 27, 2019房間雖然小卻很乾淨,淋浴水壓充足熱水也夠熱,有微波爐可以熱點食物, 距離歪雞雞海灘步行約五分鐘, 附近也剛好有一個Pink Line trolley的下車點, ABC商店也很方便. 只是停車比較麻煩, 免費的河邊常找不到位置, 停動物園24收費制步行約10分鐘. 房東人很好溝通, 這次我們從大島轉機來, 房東還有貼心的提供我們洗衣球跟一些零錢呢~真是一次愉快的旅程

Clear and precise instructions how to find the place. It's a bit noisy some times cause of its location but overall no complaints. The place is clean and with good facilities. Recommended stay!

Proche de Waikiki Beach, dans un petit quartier résidentiel, c'est parfait pour quelques nuits. Restaurants ... bike rentals ... bus to downtown and Diamond Head just a few blocks away. Quiet at night and we cooked in many nights. ... microwave. Communication was A plus. Enjoy
Jun 27, 2019Kai's place was perfect for a weekend stay for two in Waikiki. It's in a great location to walk to the beach, restaurants and shops, and even Diamond Head if you want a little extra hike. :) We had everything we needed here, including beach towels. Check in was very easy.

Gates and doors are keypad operated which we loved because we didn't have to stress about losing a key at the beach! Kai was awesome and let us check in early because our flight came in early. He responded to questions pretty much straight away. It's an easy walk to the shops and beach. We would love to come and stay here again!

Jun 27, 2019My wife and I took an extended stay at Kai's place- and it was everything you would want for a "local" style stay in Waikiki! The place is exactly as shown, clean and modern. Wifi was great and Netflix helped put us to sleep each night. The location was PRIME walking distance (8min walk) to the Waikiki Beach and shopping strip. With safety locks on the door we didn't have to worry about carrying around any keys, which is great! The size of the studio was perfect for two adults, and the laundry access really helped us out as far as how much to pack! We used under the bed for some extra storage as well! Kai was very attentive to us and any extra need we had. Communication was quick via text, and even when he did stop by the place (we asked for some soap for our laundry) he was very respectable about our privacy and space. Overall, the place is GREAT for a quick, or long stay for two adults!

Jun 27, 2019This small studio is perfect for a short break in Waikiki, it's a 5 minute walk back from the beach so nice and quiet, but super close to shops, restaurants and the beach itself. It's modern & clean with a very very comfy bed. Kai communicated well and was very helpful. Would recommend.

Parking is somewhat difficult, so we just parked several blocks away by the basketball court at the main intersection, 10 minute walk away. Modern design. Clean. Everything we needed. Had a kitchenette which helped us save on meals as we made breakfast. I would stay again here if I came to Honolulu.

Only note is if you have large car, you may want to park out on Main Street and walk up alley to unit...parking was a bit tight for our compact car, but great place. Just a note: you may want to change pickup location to a side street for ride-share drivers who seem to have a hard time stopping directly in front of the building.

Jun 27, 2019We enjoyed staying at Kai's cozy studio. The location is great. You can walk to the beach, major restaurants and shops. The room looked just like the photos. The bathroom was very cute and clean. I loved hand shower as well. Only thing was that the shower was installed very high that I could not reach it, but if you are around 5' 4", you are just fine. Kai's check in instruction was easy to understand. Thank you for letting us stay at your place.

The studio is very closed to waikiki beach, Restaurants and everything you need, but it was quiet during the day and at night. The recommendation for car parking places was very good. Kai was even kind enough to let us park in his spot, which turned out to be key for us. I would definitely recommend Kai’s place. Side note: the price is unbeatable and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever stayed in while on vacation.

Jun 27, 2019Très Cosy, très propre. Cuisine très minimaliste,ne pas penser à faire la cuisine. Céréales le matin seulement, pas de grille-pain,mais petite cafetière et mini-frigo. C’est plus une chambre d’hôtel qu’un studio. Emplacement bien situé, près de la plage et arrêt de bus. Le fait de ne pas avoir de stationnement nous limite un peu dans notre liberté d’explorer l’ile à notre guise. À 10 minutes de la plage de Waikiki et des magasins. On aurait apprécié avoir un parasol et des chaises de plage à notre disposition comme dans les autres îles, la location de ces articles coûtent 50 USD /jour! J’en ai fait la suggestion au propriétaire . Bref séjour agréable malgré que Honolulu n’a pas le charme des îles voisines!

Jun 27, 2019This is a small studio that was perfect for my husband and I. It was clean with all the essentials that we needed. Kai was great at communicating with me and gave clear directions to the unit. As clearly stated, there is no parking near the premises, but we were able to park a few blocks away at the Waikiki Banyan Hotel for a reasonable price. It was a short walk to the unit. We had a good stay and highly recommend this place.
Jun 27, 2019I really enjoyed my stay at Kai’s place. It was an easy walk to the beach, dining and shopping. The studio was very clean and had all the necessities I could have needed. There was even water in the fridge and coffee for the guest! I would definitely recommend Kai’s place for solo travelers or couples. I ended up meeting him in the driveway and he was a very nice guy! Thanks Kai!

Jun 27, 2019Great place to say for couples, everything we needed seeing as we were only there to sleep because we had so much to do during the day. Lovely little space, nice air con to come back to, wifi, bathroom was good and bed was sooo comfortable. Would love to stay here again.
Jun 27, 2019Kai’s place is amazing and Kai is even more amazing! My husband and I decided to rent a car at the airport and Kai offered a parking spot for us when we had difficulty finding a spot! The location is great (close to Waikiki Beach and lots of food options) and quiet. The bed is incredibly comfortable! I absolutely recommend Kai!

Jun 27, 2019Perfect place right by the beach& pub transport/eateries. Kai was efficient with replying to messages & he let us check in super early as we had a morning flight. Comfy space fit for a couple or small family of 3! we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend kais place to family members. Has all the amenities one could possibly need! Cheap washing machine and dryers are available as Well which was really handy! Child friendly space that looks just like in the pics. You won't be disappointed! highly recommend booking with kai! he's lovely to deal with and was available whenever we needed help with anything. thanks again!
Jun 27, 2019Great for a couples stay. Not too much space but it has everything you will need to feel at home. Very great area if you love the beaches, club, restaurants and zoo, all in walking distance of 5 - 10 minutes. The only down side was the parking. Other then that it was a great stay.

Jun 27, 2019Kai is a true professional host. He sends pictures of the Airbnb with photo shopped codes and instructions which describes the self-check in process and self luggage storage really well. He responds to most questions on Airbnb within minutes and answered the phone immediately when we thought we were locked out. The place was clean and suited our needs for our week long vacation. We also appreciated the fact that we had unexpected access to a compact parking spot (which we only used for 1 night). The place is super convenient to bus stops, restaurants, car rentals and the beach. I would highly recommend Kai's place if you want to stay at Waikiki!
Jun 27, 2019Kai was wonderful to deal with. Helpful and considerate. Quick responding to messaging. Location was perfect, very close to Diamond Head, Waikiki Beach, bus stops and all that Honolulu has to offer. Kai had the air con on for our arrival which was very considerate. I would highly recommend staying here as nothing seemed like too much trouble for Kai, especially allowing us to check in 3 hours early after a lengthy flight. Kai offers clear directions and photos to help you in locating his property and entering though securely locked gates. We felt very safe day and night walking to and from. I will definitely stay again and would recommend this property! 10/10

Jun 27, 2019This was our second stay at Kai’s. Perfect quiet location amongst friendly residents within the apartment block. Kai was always helpful and very quick to respond. We were able to check in early on both occasions, which is great especially after long flights. Keyless entry was super handy especially when we went swimming at the beach as we only had to take a towel and not worry about something happening to the room key whilst we swam. I highly recommend this property and will stay here again on my next holiday to Waikiki, Hawaii.

Jun 27, 2019Great place to stay. Small but very comfortable! We knew we wouldn’t be in the studio apartment much so we didn’t need the space. However, when we were there it felt homey. Kai includes a few dishes and utensils which were helpful as we made breakfast in the microwave. Very clean and nicely decorated. Kai responds very quickly to questions.

Jun 27, 2019Nice place to stay in the heart of Waikiki! I recommend trying to find a free parking spot along the canal across the street. Kai's space was clean, comfortable and updated. Lovely bathroom with a really cool sliding barn door. The location makes it easy to walk downtown for dinner/shopping, or a short Uber drive. Would recommend this spot to a friend!

Jun 27, 2019Kai’s cozy little studio was our first ever experience using AIRBNB and he has really set the bar high. Kai was responsive to all our requests/ messages and phone calls and we really felt safe and supported during our whole stay. Place was clean, cozy and located in such a fantastic area. I travelled with my best friend and being two girls I felt really safe in the location, walking about late at night. Will definitely stay at Kai’s place again if I visit Hawaii. 5 STARS!
Jun 27, 2019Perfect little studio for a quick business trip to Honolulu! It’s right off a main boulevard and very accessible to major roadways and running trails. Kai was outstandingly attentive to my arrival details and amenity needs - 10/10 for the host, 8/10 for the location. Very touristy area, but you can easily break away to Diamondhead for the good haunts. Best sushi I’ve ever had is walking distance from the apartment, though! So that was a plus :) This is not a spacious place by any means but if you’re planning to bump around town instead of lounging at your crash pad then I would absolutely recommend Kai’s spot. Many Mahalos!

Jun 27, 2019This was my very first Airbnb and to be honest, I was quite leary simply because I am used to major hotels, etc. however I am very happy that this was my first Airbnb experience. Kai was very easy to get in contact with from beginning to end. His place is perfect for a couple looking to be VERY close within Waikiki, but not quite in the dead center. He offered us a parking spot for free, which made it stress-free to have to find parking. The room itself was very clean and organized. I felt like I was at home and every amenity worked just fine. The area is nice and quiet at night and traffic is very light in the area. I have been to Hawaii many times before and I am thrilled I found this amazing room for an amazing rate during this my visit. Thank you Kai!!!
Jun 27, 2019Had a fantastic stay here. Made my stay in Waikiki stress free and enjoyable. Arrived to a spotless and beautifully furnished studio. So close to the beach and great amenities. Laundry facilities available for a small price which was much needed after one month of travel. Communication with Kai was flawless. Would happily book here again when I return to Waikiki. Jun 27, 2019This was a great place! Really good location - walking distance to shopping, restaurant, and beach, and easy bus ride or drive to things like Diamond Head. The air conditioning was GREAT! Very clean, host was super responsive and helpful. The email I got with step by step picture directions of how to get in was perfect. It is small, as advertised, so don’t try to get more people in there. For one or two people, it’s fantastic. Not a lot of space to hang out, but you don’t go to Hawaii to hang out in your room! For a small space, it had absolutely everything you need. I would stay there again and highly recommend it!
Jun 27, 2019This place was great. Small but cozy. It was within a reasonable walking distance to the beach, hotel pickup points for tours, many restaurants (Hula Dog) and other attractions. The hosts were very quick to respond to questions or concerns. The host even left change and soap for the washing machines. We loved staying here and will consider staying again if we return to Hawaii.

Jun 27, 2019Kai's place was perfect! It was exactly what we needed for our brief stay on Oahu. It was incredibly well located - we walked everywhere we wanted to go, from Diamondhead to the Honolulu Zoo, to every meal and outing in between. Not to mention Kai was an incredibly helpful and communicative host - the check-in instructions were crystal clear and made getting into the studio a breeze. We loved it here!
Jun 27, 2019Central location - Waikiki is walking distance but far enough for peace and quiet! Small space but has everything you need - Kai even provides beach towels and umbrellas. Parking is also available - stall is a bit tricky to get out of but not impossible. Communication is excellent and he is quick to address any issues. Excellent host!

Jun 27, 2019A cute space for 2 people with all the necessities you need to feel at ease. Easy access to Waikiki beach- 5 min walk. Make use of local buses- literally take you everywhere. Also use small groceries for more reasonable prices. Must check out Mac 24/7 for a great breakfast in Hilton hotel- 3 min walk. Cindy the neighbour always willing to advise you on anything local with her lovely dog Frankie. We hope to return someday soon.

The location allowed us to walk to TheBus (bus stop was 2 blocks away), KCC Farmer's Market (go hungry!), Diamond Head (about 5 miles round trip including the hike around the monument), and Waikiki Beach for Sunset and swimming! The space was comfortable, well designed and thought out, and had everything we needed from beach towels to coffee to dish soap. We look forward to future stays!

I highly recommend Kai’s studio for anyone staying in Waikiki. Kai was readily available for any questions and communicated ahead of time with all the needed information. Jun 27, 2019This was the perfect start to our honeymoon. The first thing we noticed and appreciated was having the AC already on and full blast so the room was nice and cool after having to travel in humidity (we’re from the PNW, so we aren’t used to Hawaiian humidity). The decor was super cute and it was nice to have netflix on the TV so we could binge watch our favorite shows while we unwinded from the day. It was nice and close to the beach, which was a huge plus. It was perfect for two people and was clean and easy to get to.

Jun 27, 2019Very nice accommodation! Kai was super prompt on responses, and was really good at giving us all details. This accommodation was at a perfect location and was close to everything. Only thing I wish can be different is that the bed was a little uncomfortable, which caused my husband to get a back ache. Overall I would definitely go back here!

The studio is perfect for a couple or single(s) travellers. Bed is super comfy and the air con works well to keep out the heat. Kai is very responsive and provided options to store our luggage since we arrived early. Highly recommend Kai's studio.
Jun 27, 2019Place is very small but fine if you are just there to sleep. Area is a bit farther from the beach then we would have liked and the place is in an alleyway so in the dark it was a bit scary to walk back to at night but overall the place was fine if you were just there to sleep.

Jun 27, 2019This place was just great for a couple! The location was incredibly convenient: 7 minutes to Waikiki beach, 2 minutes to the closest grocery store and 3 minutes to a bike rental place! Kai’s apartment has everything you’ll need and plenty of towels (thanks so much for that!)! We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it! Thank you Kai:)

We appreciated the extra amenities like beach towels, shampoo, blow dryer and coffee. It is in a decent location with easy walking access to Waikiki shopping, restaurants and the beach. We would definitely stay again.

It's hotspot for food and shopping and everything you need is pretty much in walking distance. Love this stay and definitely recommend! Kai was also a great host and had a very quick response time.
Jun 27, 2019This was the perfect home base for exploring Waikiki and the surrounding areas in Honolulu. The location was close to all of the excitement, but quiet and peaceful. Maybe it was a combination of travel exhaustion and a lingering cold, but the bed was so comfortable and i had the *best* sleep during our stay. It was a wonderful first experience in Hawaii.

Jun 27, 2019I don't think we could have found a better place for the cost. Sure there is no view, but the place is walking distance to Waikiki beach! And I am not talking about a hike, I am talking about a flip-flop walk away. Kai was over the top responsive to all of our needs. Extremely welcoming, and you felt "aloha" the minute you got there. Judge for yourself how many can stay here, it was just my wife and I. I could imagine taking two young kids with us, but not more than that. The studio had every detail one would need for a trip. I particularly loved the fact that there were power outlets EVERYWHERE! No need to share an outlet, or have to plug your phone on the other side of the room. A/C worked great (we were there in January, so we actually turned it off most of the time). Furniture is small (which is GOOD) so as to not take up too much space. The neighborhood is nice and the walk to the beach is short and easy. Ride sharing is everywhere and convenient, no need to rent a car here. Kai's instructions are VERY clear, don't get overwhelmed with the amount of information, he just wants you to know all the details. While there, we had a power outage (an idiot probably had too much to drink and ran into a pole), I contacted Kai, and he had contacted the power company and got back to me within minutes with an estimated wait time! I can't get that kind of service at home!!! Kai, you are TRULY a great host. Mahalo, mahalo... MAHALO!!!
