Neighborhood Overview
The location in Bushwick is unbeatable. There are many cafes, bars and restaurants. Nowadays, a huge indoor/outdoor beer-garden, is a favorite in the neighborhood. Or ride the L a few quick stops to explore Bushwick and Williamsburg.

We had a great time at Sam's place, everything was as described. Sam has a great clean, spacious and comfortable set up that makes you feel right at home as well as a nice relaxing backyard that we enjoyed. In regards to communication Sam was very quick and responsive if we needed to message him and i found him to be pleasant and friendly. The location is also close to the subway which makes it a convenient location. You won't be disappointed, we will definitely stay again.

This is by far best airbnb ive ever stay at in New York!! Theres a beautiful backyard, bedrooms are nice size, and everything was very clean.. out of the 45 airbnbs i stayed at this is my top choice. Number 1 in everything... i highly highly recommend people stay here. If you looking for a clean,safe, comfortable, great price apartment, yet lively neighborhood this is it!! Best part is at night its very quiet, so you will get a good night sleep... i will deff be staying here in the future. Thanks sam for an awesome stay!!!!! Jun 27, 2019Sam's and Brittney's place is perfect. The flat is very cosy for 4 people. Clean and practical. Close to the tube and really easy to go everywhere in Manhattan or Brooklyn. The owners are very kind. I recommend this place for a short or long trip !
Jun 27, 2019Sam's place was one of the nicest places I've stayed at. Very clean, modern and equipped with everything you would need! The backyard garden is a wonderful area to relax in (make use of it!) The L train is a 5 minute walk away and gets you to the city in 30 minutes. Definitely would return!

We made ourselves right at home and my kids didn't want to leave. Sam is a great host, anything we needed for our stay, we got it. Thanks again Sam.

Mieux qu'un hôtel, nous avons eu l'impression d'habiter a New York. L'accès au métro est rapide et simple, et il faut compter 15/20 min pour rejoindre Manhattan. Le quartier est vivant et on y trouve commerces et restaurants. Sam a été très agréable et réactif a nos demandes.
Jun 27, 2019Sam & Brittney were perfect hosts. Quick to respond to any queries and made us feel comfortable. The apartment was super clean and had all the amenities anyone could need. The location was perfect, super close to the Halsey St. subway and L line, perfect for that New York trip but with the ability to escape the hussle and bussle of Manhattan. The outdoor area out the back was perfect too. We would recommend for anyone to stay here. There were 4 of us and there was more than enough space in the apartment. I would definitely return!

Nous avons séjourné pendant 10 jours dans l’appartement tout s’est très bien passé. Sam et Brittney sont très réactifs et ont répondus à toutes nos demandes.
Jun 27, 2019This was a great stay for us and our couple friend. Plenty of space great location. Brittany was quick to respond and it was easy to check in even when our flight was late. Loved the neighborhood and she allowed us to leave our luggage so we could see more of neighborhood before we had to go to airport! Would highly recommend!

Jun 27, 2019My family and I recently stayed at Sam’s and Britney’s place. We loved it and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean, organized, and had everything we needed, including access to their Wifi and Netflix which were a big plus. They also left some snacks, drinks, and a city map for us which was very thoughful and nice of them. Check-in was smooth. The apartment comfortably accomodated a group of 5 with one person sleeping in an air mattress in the living room. There was free street parking available too. Their place was a 5 minute walk from the Halsey subway stop and about a 20 minute subway ride to Manhattan. Their was a bodega less than 5 minutes away on foot which was perfect to buy snacks and fruit. Overall good value, great hosts, definitely worth staying there again. Jun 27, 2019Our stay at Sam and Brittney’s apartment in Bushwick was perfect. They were wonderful hosts who always replied quickly to any questions we had. We had a small problem with the dishwasher leaking which was dealt with very well by Sam, checking on it, getting a professional in to fix it and leaving us plenty of extra towels in the meantime. The apartment was clean and spacious, even with four of us staying there, and even nicer than it looks in the photos. The beer and board games left by the hosts were much appreciated. The street itself was nice and quiet with a number of corner grocery stores nearby. The location was close to the convenient L Train which gets you into Manhattan easily. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks again Sam and Brittney for being such great hosts.:)

Sam and Britt were always very quick to reply to any queries we had during our stay. Would definitely look to stay here again the next time I come.

Jun 27, 2019L'appartement est tout à fait conforme aux photos. Très agréable, avec un petit jardin très bien arrangé et que nous avons bien apprécié le soir en rentrant. Nous y avons séjourné avec nos deux enfants qui étaient conquis et ravis de le retrouver. Situé à 7-8 minutes du métro pour Manhattan (environ 20 minutes pour rejoindre Union Square ). C'est un logement idéal pour découvrir New York en famille. Sam et Britney sont des hôtes très sympathiques ; ils nous ont gardé nos valises après le check out et même appelé un taxi pour l'aéroport. Vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés.
Jun 27, 2019The apartement is great. My only suggestion is to bring snacks, water for late nite munchies since there are no many places open and close by. You will be away from the big city but you are in a quiet vecinity if you are to rest. There are to close stations and can take aprox 40 mins to hit the city. Beds are super comfy. My only concern was that there is nothing to do around if you just want to walk around. But in general, it is a good place to stay.

Jun 27, 2019Sam & Britt's space is EXACTLY like the photos! Spotless, spacious and modern! The unit was filled with everything you would need during the stay. The backyard is a beautiful space to enjoy your morning coffee. We walked to the corner bodega every morning for an affordable Spanish style breakfast. Communication with them was simple and responses were timely. Sam & Britt were awesome hosts! The train station is walking distance from the apartment, however, it takes some time to get into Manhattan. Otherwise, the space is perfect! I would definitely come back!

Their places is in the perfect location, subway, nightlife, laundry services and a park all within one to two blocks. They are by far the best hosts that I’ve stayed with yet!!!

Jun 27, 2019Amazing appartment, spacious, clean and stylish. After a long day strolling through the city you'll enjoy watching the fireflies in the garden and a good night of sleep in the comfy beds. You might hear the airco system from one of the bedrooms, a background noise that might help you sleep like it did for me, otherwise pack your earplugs. Sam was really helpful and reactive to all our requests. Don't miss out on this gem! The flat is well located but not close to Manhattan, bear in mind the city is HUGE and so are the distances from a point to another, similar to London.

Close to the metro station a supermarket nearby and for the heavy stuff like watercans there was a shop around the corner. When I asked Sam for some extra service, hè immediattely replied and helped us out. I can really recommand Sam and Britts place!

The neighborhood was very quiet at night, perfect for getting a good night sleep. The apartment was specious for NYC and as a bonus the garden area a hidden gem. Jun 27, 2019Loved the apartment. The neighbourhood is vibrant and very safe. Great pizza at Jimmy's on Wilson Avenue. Subway station at Halsey Street is 8 mins away and the L train can reach Manhattan in 20 mins. Great stay and would definitely recommend Sam and Britt's place.
Jun 27, 2019Really cute place in Brooklyn, the people in the neighborhood were friendly and helpful. Felt very safe there. Street parking was easy to find, had a spot right in front of the place the whole time. Sam was nice and super helpful, gave us a lot of tips on different places to check out while we were there. Their dog is the cutest!!
Jul 27, 2019Sam and Britt’s place was very nice and clean. They let us check in early, which was great! There was a laundry room for us to use, but the hot and cold water were backwards so we accidentally washed and rinsed our clothes in hot water unexpectedly. It was spacious enough for two couples. It was close, within walking distance to 2 different subway stations that we used daily. And there was a nice grocery store within walking distance. The neighborhood was a little sketchy though so coming home at night, walking through the neighborhood, made me a little nervous.
Jun 27, 2019Je tiens à remercier Sam & britt pour leur accueil, leur gentillesse. Ils nous ont toujours donnés toutes les informations nécessaires et étaient très réactifs. Des hôtes adorables en résumé. L’appartement était très propre et conforme aux photos. Beaucoup de petites attentions avec par exemple du café, du thé, des pâtes, des petits gâteaux à notre arrivée ainsi que des boissons. Vraiment parfait. Le quartier est clame et safe. Loin du bruit de la ville. Mais pour cela il faut accepter les transports pour rejoindre le centre. Je n’hésiterai pas à y retourner . J’en profite pour faire un clin d’œil à Basil !!!

Nos hôtes ont été très claire dans leurs indications et leur rapidité de réponse était impressionnante. Le coin est un peu défavorisé mais nous nous sentions en sécurité. Les principales attractions de la ville sont facilement accessible en métro, la station de métro la plus proche de l'appartement est à quelque minute de marche.

Accurate directions, smooth (early)check-in, fast responses to our numerous requests for places to eat, and things to do. we were 4 family members, wanted to neighbourhood living and got just that. The apartment is private, separate entrance, centrally air conditioned (excellent), elegantly furnished, sparkling clean, full kitchen, smart TV, washer & dryer in basement with full access. The garden in back is a wonderful private space, icing on the cake. 5 minute walk from subway, close to many dining and deli options. We walked home late nights from the subway station, felt safe. in the neighbourhood. Brooklyn is full of great bars, restaurants, Prospect park, Brooklyn bridge park are among our enjoyable experiences. Its a 20/30 minute subway ride into Manhattan. Sam and Brett were very helpful at all times. They kept our luggage in a secure sections while we did a last minute jaunt into Manhattan before our flight at 9 PM. I'd give it more than 5 stars!
Jun 27, 2019The place was amazing. It’s tucked away as a basement apt, but it doesn’t feel like it. It’s in the heart of BK so the area around it feels like it should. Lots of delis around and the L train is only a few minutes away.

The leisure tips of the two are highly recommended. And on questions you get an answer very quickly. We can only recommend the accommodation.
Jun 27, 2019Whenever we come back to NY we'll stay in Sam and Britts apartment again. It is farely close to JFK airport and a 35 minutes ride away from Midtown Manhattan. The subway station is within a 10 minutes walk. Sam and Britt were very helpful and flexible regarding check-in and check-out times. We enjoyed staying at their place. We were very glad about drinks and food and sufficient towels they provided. The little garden is lovely. The place is quiet and safe particularily with regard to a city like New York. Close by are some restaurants and bars and a take away Pizzeria.

Jun 27, 2019Sam and Britt do have a stylish, quiet and clean place. We felt very safe as well. The apartment is large, roomy, and nicely furnished. There were only 2 of us, but the apt would easily accommodate 4. Bathroom is updated as well. We didn’t get to use the pretty garden in the back due to the weather. Loved their quick responses to everything we asked! From recommendations on restaurants, grocery stores, to transportation and places to visit. We will stay there again! The amenities are all there and nice! A great bottle of wine topped it off!
Jun 27, 2019We loved this airbnb! Sam and Britt were great communicators, and check-in and check-out was easy! The place is great for 4 guests, which is what we had during our stay. The place is wonderfully clean, and offers plenty of places to sit, and a beautiful kitchen to cook in. We went to the Key Foods a couple of subway stops away for a big grocery haul and then stopped at nearby bodegas for fresh fruit and bagels as needed when we ran out. The area is safe, and the street is quiet. The back patio is awesome as well! All in all, we would recommend this place, and we would love to stay here again. Our only thought is the closest subway line and provides the quickest access to Manhattan, the L, was shut down the weekend we were there. We ended up getting creative with connecting buses to different train lines, or just taking a lot of Lyfts, but this may not be convenient for everyone. Regardless, this place really is a gem, and it made our trip to visit family and all hang out in our airbnb the perfect experience!

Jun 27, 2019Apartment was exactly as pictured and felt warm and cozy. Everything worked fine and was extremely clean. All the amenities away from home. Plenty of closet space for a longer stay. Host even provided some snacks, keurig coffee pods, cold soda, oatmeal, and hot cocoa that the kids loved. Cute backyard patio, though we didn’t enjoy due to cold weather. The neighborhood had restaurants/deli shops/bars/good markets within a few minutes walking distance. We felt like locals. We were a short walk away from the L line that took us everywhere into the nyc tourists spots and also back to JFK airport. We felt safe walking late at night from metro and some local bars back to the apartment. Definitely recommend Father Knows Best for breakfast and for late late night drinks. Also around the corner is Bushwick Taco Company. My son even got a nice haircut at the local barber shop. So if you are looking for a nice place to relax after a day full of sightseeing and get that true New York feel this is the place for you. Also realized that customer service at the local eateries was 100% better than the customer service we experienced in Manhattan. Will definitely come back again. Oh, there was also a washer and dryer but we didn’t use it as well as Free Netflix. The WiFi we used and it was reliable and fast.

Jun 27, 2019Sam & Britt’s place is great. Very comfortable and, most important to us, VERY CLEAN:) And They accommodated us last minute when our original Airbnb had to cancel bc of a busted water pipe. We would definitely stay here again!
Jun 27, 2019Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt. Alles wie beschrieben. Ebenso konnten wir unser Gepäck am Abreisetag noch bis zu unserem Flug abends bei Sam und Britt lassen. somit konnten wir ohne Gepäck den letzten Tag noch super in NYC verbringen.
