Yes there is parking in the building, operated by an outside company for $25/day. Unfortunately parking in Waikiki is difficult and expensive everywhere. In Waikiki a car is not needed, but it is nice for exploring other parts of the island. Many people only rent one for the days they are exploring the island.

I was about a week out from my Oahu vacation and my original host canceled at the last second. - not the best thing to happen on short notice! I needed someone reliable and last min tire personally. Larry nailed it. He made me and my lady comfortable and was very easy going/laid back. I stayed at his place for about a full week and it was fantastic for what we were doing. You get a great view of the city and can see the ocean from the window. It's super close to everything! Little did we know that Waikiki is a walking city! You don't need a car. So avoid renting a car unless it's just for a day or so. Parking nearby $25 which is under Larry's place. The Burger/Sushi place within the building is also amazing. They literally have everything you can think of. Conclusion: when I come back to Waikiki I'll be looking for Larry's posting!

Jun 27, 2019Larry was very helpful and responsive to messages, checkin/checkout was quick and easy. The apartment is newly decorated and feels fresh. Everything you need is within walking distance and it provided a great base for exploring Oahu, Dollar car rental is just round the corner if you want to take a drive East to see Lanikai Beach or North to see the Northshore and Waimea Valley (recommended!). Would stay again!
Jun 27, 2019The place was beautiful, we really enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed. The location was close to all the restaurants and night life. I would recommend this place to (Website hidden by Airbnb) the same building we also rented a smart car and we only paid $10 a night since we were staying here. Overall I'm very pleased! This was our first time experiencing AIRBNB and I'm going to continue to use it. Thank you Mahalo!

Convenient location: short walk to good third wave coffee (Honolulu Coffee Experience Center is nearby and both local and superior to Starbucks for anybody who cares about good coffee), reasonable walking distance to the main Waikiki strip, and a convenient drive to other options. Larry was very responsive and checked in at key points throughout the stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. The instructions were all clear and up to date. Overall a very positive experience and a good value.

Jun 27, 2019Upon Arrival Getting to and access to the unit is easy. We were given instructions how to access the unit before our arrival and the instructions are really easy to follow. When we arrived to the condo, there was also a guestbook with house rules, information about the condo, instructions how to get around Waikiki and much more. We found this guestbook really handy and helpful. The Condo The building is older than most hotels nearby and probably needs some updating. The condo is privately owned and when we arrived to the condo, it was modern, very clean and well lit. The room made us feel welcome and comfortable. Everything is as what the pictures show. The view of the room is absolutely breathtaking. Partial beach view to the left, buildings in the middle, and a gorgeous mountain backdrop to the right. The room is a bit smaller than what we had expected but it was good enough for two people, myself and my husband. The room is complete with all necessities. He has a full kitchen (there are hot plates to cook your food in if you decide), microwave, fridge, dishes, cooking equipment, beach towels, cleaning supplies like soap detergent, broom, and that is more than most would think of, we were pleasantly surprised. It has extra paper supplies also should you run out. Larry was also very kind enough to supply us with beach chairs to take to the beach, because when we arrived the pool was being renovated until December 1st. The only thing I would recommend is having more drawers to put our clothes in, or a luggage rack to put our luggages on. Other than that, this room has everything you should need. The Location We were pleasantly happy with the location. It is a prime location with everything just a short walk away. Not to mention, the location had very good views from all directions. There are a few restaurants just steps from the condo. Then there are more places to eat, shop about 10 minutes away on both directions going east or west on Kalakaua and Ala Moana Streets. The closest beach access is 10 minutes away, then if you walk further down to the east, there's access to Waikiki beach there as well, near other shops and restaurants. The Host We had the pleasure of meeting Larry on our last day as we were leaving. He's very pleasant to talk to and very pleasant to deal with as well. He is professional and did his best to make us feel welcome. From the start of our booking, he is very accommodating and responsive with any questions we had. He is very communicative and updated us with the pool situation and made the situation better with providing us with beach chairs and umbrella so we wouldn't have to rent any equipment at the beach since the pool was closed for renovation. Jun 27, 2019This condo is the perfect size for two people. Very clean. Provides beach towels and chairs. Nice kitchenette. Great location- 5-10 minute well to beach, restaurants, and shops in Waikiki. We used the smart car rental service at this hotel. It's a great deal, easy and staff are very helpful. Larry responds quickly to questions. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed staying here.
Jun 27, 2019This place was great. Exactly what was depicted in the ad. Check in and out was easy. Larry was prompt in responding and communicated well. I didn't get to meet Larry. The bar in the bottom of the building gets a little rowdy and there was a guy being thrown out at 3 am cussing up a storm and trying to fight the bouncer but I probably wouldn't have known that if I hadn't been awake to catch a ride to go hiking at that hour. I wasn't something I heard from the room just something I saw being down in the loading zone. The parking is kind of expensive if you rent a car from the airport but very easy and worth it to be able to park the car in a lot attached to the condo building. Overall, everything was great and I was well prepared from messaging Larry ahead of time what to expect, there were no surprises.

Of course, you should not expect the quietness of a residential area in a city like this. On the whole, I was satisfied with this studio. I would come back.

Although we never met Larry himself but he has been very communicative and prepared instructions that made the whole experience very easy to go through. Location is walking distance to shopping & beaches. The view is great! Great for the value and I would highly recommend it!

We felt very secure there from check in to check out. Hotel part is defiantly dated but the condo was updated. The pool was nice as well. Jun 27, 2019Great location apartment just a few blocks away from the main hotel areas. The apartment has been renovated nicely and was really clean and well equipped with what we needed. Being in a smaller apartment the air conditioner and fridge noises were quite noticeable at night although not a major issue. We had a great stay, lots of nice bars and restaurants close by!!

There are also all the basic essentials such as beach towels and sunblock ready for your trip to the beach. The place is small but has a great view of the city.

The only challenge is that the elevators are dated and take a long time - so be prepared to have patience to get to the great view that the Condo provides! The location is perfect! Plenty of good food around, and a 10min walk to the infamous International Market.

Jun 27, 2019Fantastic location, breathtaking view, bed was really comfy with some kind of luxury topper on it, lovely powerful shower, elevators never too busy, jacuzzi beautifully hot and powerful. Larry always on hand and the room was really well equipped with little necessities and even deck chairs for the beach! Perfect decor throughout -as lovely as the pictures. You should choose this condo - and I'm generally the skeptical type!

Restaurants and shops are conveniently located and within walking distance from the building. Larry has a flawless check-in and check-out system. Easy and fast, without the hassle of having to personally meet up. Building has security and front desk personnel. Great value for the price. Thank you for a comfortable stay.

What I really liked about it was that you could tell Larry was a very good host and tried to think of little things you may need during your stay which he placed strategically around the condo. I used some of the aloe Vera myself!

Jun 27, 2019Larry is an excellent host, has great communication and the apartment is EXACTLY as it looks in the photo and is described. Easy check-in and also extremely clean! It's about a 10min walk to the beach and 10 min walk to both ala moana and waikiki downtown. One tip I'd suggest is to bring an eye mask to sleep as the curtains are very thin and the room is lit up at night which may affect light sleepers. Overall definatley recommend!

Nicely remodeled with great random amenities like beach umbrellas, chairs, and aloe (definitely needed that). Close to restaurants,and bars. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here the next time i'm in Hawaii. Thanks Larry!

It was clean, cosy wi a beautiful view from a high level floor and had everything you might need: from utentils and microvawe to an iron, beach towels and even an umbrella. Jun 27, 2019Great location although a bit of a hike to the beach. Lovely bright apartment and very comfy bed. Unfortunately there were a number of annoying and unexpected maintenance issues to contend with. Host communicated well about them and had them fixed straight away however they distracted from the enjoyment of the stay. What was worse was someone was smoking in an adjacent apartment which meant there was a very strong smell of smoke coming through the vents which was really disgusting. Once again host tried to resolve but little they can do.

Jun 27, 2019The pictures were identical to what it actually was so there were no hidden surprises. The room was clean, and the view outside was great. The room runs on the smaller side, but the pictures do a good job of letting you know. It was more than accomadating for my husband and I as we stayed for a couple days. The location was nice. There were a lot of cool places around to eat at. Larry was a great host. He responded to anything we needed almost immediately. His directions were clear, and he makes the check-in/check-out process very easy. Overall we thought this place was great.

Jun 27, 2019Larrys place was ideal for my sister and I for our brief stay in Honolulu! The view is amazing! While the building itself is a bit dated the studio is recently remodeled and clean. We were able to easily hop on the bus right outside and it was a short walk to the. beach and a few local restaurants. Also there is a laundry room on site which we found to be helpful. Larrys instructions were spot on and super helpful. The only thing that became a bother was the slowness and having to wait for the elevator, other than that perfect place to stay when staying on budget in Honolulu!

It's a short walk from the beach and a main shopping street (Kalakaua Ave.). Larry was extremely responsive through Airbnb messages and was very helpful in resolving a wi-fi connectivity issue. The condo is located inside a hotel, with a restaurant, bakery, corner store and car rental in the lobby. Would gladly stay there again.

Jun 27, 2019Die Unterkunft ist zentral gelegen, es bietet neben einer tollen Aussicht auch diverse Möglichkeiten, ob Restaurants, Shopping oder Strand. Alles ist gut erreichbar. Falls man mit dem Auto reisst stellt das Parken eine Schwierigkeit dar. Die Unterkunft selbst war sehr sauber und auch die Kommunikation mit Larry verlief sympathisch und schnell.

The parking lot in the garage next to the apartment was very helpful. We recommend this stay for a short vacation in Honululu! information very helpful. The condo is exactly as it looks in the photos. Bright, airy, clean, and with a terrific view. It came with all the things I needed and there were several amenities nearby. At first, it felt like it was a little far from the beach, but after a day or so, I realised this wasn’t the case and the 20 minutes walk to Waikiki Beach seemed breezy. The only thing which caused me a little disturbance was that it is located very closely to another condo, and so there would be noise from those other guests time to time. However, I had a great stay at Larry’s place and would recommend it to others.

Jun 27, 2019Awesome value for the location. In the middle of Waikiki beach and Ala Moana Center. We walked everywhere in Waikiki and it is definitely manageable. There is street parking available but it is almost impossible to ever get a spot. We paid $25 cash only to pay in the parkade attached to the building. Building is run down and only one elevator seemed to work so getting to the 36th floor took some time but understandable and never was more than 10 minutes. Room was clean. Beach towels and mats are provided. AC cooled the room quickly. Full size fridge and hot plate made it easy for quick meals! Hallways and room had a strong smell when we checked in. Check in was super easy with Larry’s instructions. I would recommend this spot! Thanks Larry :)

Jun 27, 2019Very close walk to all the shopping areas of Waikiki and Ala Moana. Very clean and tidy space with nice air conditioning. The only downside is the elevator takes an average of 10 min to get on and down to the lobby.
Jun 27, 2019Larry was a phenomenal host with great communication. We didn’t have any problems checking in or out, but he followed up every time to ensure we had what we needed. The place itself was conveniently located 10 min from Waikiki. The building has its own coffee shop and bakery right downstairs, which was perfect for grabbing a quick breakfast and coffee before an early day full of activities.

Jun 27, 2019My parents stayed here in April 2018 while on vacation. They loved the cleanliness, comfort, and location of Larry's place in Honolulu. They would stay here again on a return visit.
Jun 27, 2019Amazing place to stay for a quick trip to Honolulu. A/C worked great and I was impressed that Larry provided snorkels, lawn chairs, beach umbrella, and beach towels, along with sunscreens in the rooms.

Jun 27, 2019This is a great place to stay. The exterior is a little run down but the apartment was very nice. While on the small side, it was comfortable apartment with a full-size fridge and microwave. Larry was a wonderful host. He was helpful before and during the stay. I would definitely stay again.

Jun 27, 2019Larry was a great host who was very quick with his replies and communication. He provided many extra things that are perfect for a day at the beach (chairs, umbrellas, snorkel). We did not use the pool or BBQ but could see it out the window-it looked nice :) the photos are a true reflection of the apartment-the view of the city at night is wonderful. The location is great-a short walk into Waikiki, And a lovely breakfast Restauraunt within the building. If you are a light sleeper you may struggle with the sheer curtains in the morning light (or the afternoon if you needed a nap), but it’s a lovely way to wake up. There is a laundry in the building but unfortunately you do not receive access to this. I have never felt towels as soft as the ones provided! They were amazing! I highly recommend this rental.

Jun 27, 2019We had a wonderful stay at Larry‘s appartment. It was very nice, comfortable and clean and located in a convenient walking distance (10min max) to Waikiki Beach. There were towels and additional pillows available. Larry was also a great host and helped us a lot. Thank you very much Larry :)

Jul 27, 2019Loved Larry’s place. It was clean and bright, lots of lights and natural lighting as well! Nice view, easy check in/out. Beach towels and mats are provided. Wish we would’ve seen the beach chairs under the bed, that would’ve been nice to use. We had issues with the key card working in the elevator, but not working to open the room one night, but it was an easy fix. It was almost 2AM so we didn’t contact Larry, but Moss from security helped us, with no issues. He even brought the key card back up to our room so we wouldn’t have to go back down with him. There’s a bakery and a little cafe located in the lobby if you want something quick in the morning. The coconut/pineapple muffin is delicious! We spent most of our time at the beach so we didn’t get to check out the pool. Overall it’s conveniently located and I would stay here again! Thanks Larry!

Jun 27, 2019Room was clean and more modern than some of the others I heard about it in the building :) little small but was perfect for what we needed for this trip. Parking is expensive, $25 for 24 hours, but pretty sure that’s all of Waikiki. Never did check out the pool area.

Jun 27, 2019I love Larry's condo very much, everything is the same as described, great view, very clean bedroom, bathroom, and refrigerator. Check in and check out process is simple and easy. It is very close to Waikiki beach, a perfect spot for staying. Larry respond very fast for any inqury.
Jun 27, 2019급하게 결정된 여행이었는데, 호텔 컨디션은 기대이상이었어요. 욕실과 간이주방의 청결도는 매우 만족스러웠어요. 타월에 대한 요청에 대해 넉넉히 챙겨줘서 편했습니다. 숙소 전망은 예술이었습니다. 매일 전망을 사진에 담아두고 싶었어요. 간단한 세면용품, 세제, 푹신한 배게, 식기류, 비치타월과 파라솔, 다리미 등등 세심함이 돋보였습니다. 위치는 해변까지 걸어서 10분정도, 호텔앞에 ABC마트와 편의점이 있습니다. 쇼핑중심지에서는 약간 거리가 있지만 한적하고 조용하게 지내는데 도움되었습니다. 래리의 빠른 응답과 친절함이 우리의 여행을 편안하게 만들어줬습니다. 다만, 침대에서 끽끽 소리가 났고, 옆방 사람들의 소음이 그대로 들렸어요. 여행 마지막날 옆방 투숙객이 바뀌었는데, 시끄러운 사람들이 들어와서 휴식을 방해했어요. 저는 피곤함에 지쳐 잠들었기에 크게 신경은 안썼지만, 예민하신분들은 참고하세요. 저는 이 숙소를 강력하게 추천합니다.
Jun 27, 2019Larry’s place was perfect for my boyfriend and I. It is as pictured. Small, clean, great view, walking distance to many nearby places and he did supply beach accessories (which was so convenient for us). We did have a rental and was lucky enough to have found street parking for all 5 days we were there. I would recommend this place for a couple who is on the go and often out exploring!

Jun 27, 2019What a view!! If there was anything bad that I could say I didn't notice it because I was too busy looking out the window. However, everything was great. The room was nice and clean. The place is located close to everything we needed: beach, restaurants, shops and bars. The host was communicative and quick to respond. We highly recommend this place.
Jun 27, 2019We really enjoyed the room and totally recommend it. Larry was one of the more outstanding hosts we've encountered on Airbnb. He was very friendly and professional in our correspondence and was very quick about replying back to us. We'd gladly book one of his places again.

Jun 27, 2019Amazing space! Very updated condo with clean decor, plush towels, cozy pillows. Bed was really comfortable. Everything you could need provided. The building was great as well, plenty of places to eat and a nice pool and lounging area. Highly recommend!

Jun 27, 2019Great place to stay and some incredibly friendly staff downstairs to help with everything. The building had great food, tourist information and car rentals. Location is great, but gets noisy being downtown, a lot of sirens going on all night! Besides that, the place is amazing, Larry is an incredible host.
