Ursula was a really nice, responsive, and responsible host. The room had everything I needed to be comfortable and was as described. The neighborhood is residential but not far from a lot of great food options, and it's a reasonable trip into Manhattan.

I would definitely recommend staying here! The only downside is that the room gets very warm during the winter, but you can open a window to let some cold air in.

Jun 27, 2019Staying at Ursula's home was one of the best AirBnB experiences. The home's location was only a few walking minutes from the train and shopping areas/restaurants. The entire home was very clean, the bedroom was large, had a comfortable bed, and a view of the neighborhood, and the shower had amazing water pressure. Not only was the home great, but the hostess was very personable and a pleasure to meet. We also got to meet her aunt, who is just as nice. Our flight landed before the check-in time and Ursula allowed us to drop our bags off so we didnt have to carry them around the city and even helped us search for a place to stay when our flight was cancelled (as she already had the room reserved for the next guests). Communicating with Ursula was easy, as she was quick to respond. If ever in NYC, would definitely stay here again.
Jun 27, 2019Ursula was great! It was my first time in a private room AirBnB, as I usually have entire places, but this place was great value. She was very accommodating, and gave us a couple of ideas on how to spend a few hours in the area. I recommend Mama's Empanadas on Northern blvd. The room is bigger than I expected and very clean. Urusula is very respectful and quiet. Although we did get a chance to enjoy her aunt's singing the morning of checkout. It's a 10 minute walk to the subway, and lots of South American places to check out in the area, also just a couple train stops away from Roosevelt Ave Jackson heights station for connecting to other transit lines or trying out some south Asian cuisine! Only a 20 minute ride to the upper east side from there, 30 minutes to midtown.
Jun 27, 2019We stayed at Ursula's for a week and were happy with our choice. The room is bigger than it looks in the photos, with a comfy bed, dressers, a desk, and a funky lamp. Ursula and her aunt Luz slept next-doors, they were there if you wanted to chat but also granted you privacy. Ursula was always keen to make our stay as comfortable as possible - thank you so much again for the Peruvian tamales breakfast, mmmh! Special thanks to Luz, who brightened our day with music, dance sessions and laughs. The apartment is located near the subway line 7 (90/Elmhurst). Manhattan and Brooklyn can be reached within 40 minutes. The area is generally calm, perfect for when you come home from a fantastic yet exhausting day exploring New York.
Jun 27, 2019Wer nach New York reist und auf der Suche nach einer Unterkunft ist, sollte unbedingt zu Ursula. Sehr fürsorglich und bemüht, es einem angenehm zu machen. Vorab fragte sie, ob sie einen irgendwo abholen soll und sie ist sehr, sehr nett. Das Zimmer prima und sauber, Wohnatmosphäre familiär. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen. Die Lage ist ebenfalls top, sehr lateinamerikanisch geprägt dort, viele Möglichkeiten, irgendwo einen Kaffee zu trinken und viele Läden in der Nähe.
Jun 27, 2019A small apartment but a good location near restaurants a block away. Bike lanes, on street parking, and a bus stop can all be found on this beautiful tree lined street. I was lucky enough to find on street parking right outside the building when I arrived midday during the week and left my car there for the night and took the 7 line to get around which was only 3 blocks south. The bed and room were comfortable and Ursula covered all the basic necessities. Check in and check out went smoothly. I would certainly recommend her place for anyone who needs a place to stay for a day or two in Queens.
Jun 27, 2019Ursula is an amazing host, very graceful, helpful, and always kept in touch with me. It's been a pleasure staying at her place. The room is big, clean, nice comfy bed, and good wifi. The bathroom is nice and clean as well. The location is close to subway stops that takes you directly to Manhattan, accessible by bus, several ethnic restaurants, street vendors, shops and grocery stores. Overall great vibe around that area. I would highly recommend to stay at her place if you're looking for a place to stay near Queens and Manhattan. I would definitely book at her place again when I visit New York again.
Jun 27, 2019Ursula is a charming and helpful host. Flat is basic with comfortable bed, computer, and access to the kitchen. Situated in Jackson Heights the garden city, it is much quieter than Manhattan which is 30 minutes away by subway.

Jun 27, 2019I would recommend that any person who is considering a stay at Ursala's should absolutely do it. The room is comfortable, the neighborhood has good restaurants, and Ursala's place is close to LaGuardia and a few blocks to the subway. As so many other guests have also mentioned, Ursala and Luz are both so nice, and they checked in on me and my girlfriend to make sure that we were having a nice trip since they knew it was our first time in the city. There is a reason Ursula is listed as a super host; she is truly amazing.
Jun 27, 2019I stayed at Ursulas for just one night and it was a great choice! She made check in easy and the room was spacious and very clean, in a safe neighborhood only 3 blocks from the 7 train. Plus, the price was extremely good value, and would be plenty of space for a couple. She is very pleasant and warm and even made coffee in the morning. I met her Aunt Luz too. If you are looking for a place in Queens, this is a great economical option.

Ursula was super sweet and helpful throughout my stay. She was quite interactive and we had some really great conversations. Her place is couple minutes away from the subway station and its very easy to get into the city. Grocery stories, restaurants, cafes etc. are all within walking distance. The area is quite nice and safe, and fun to explore. Although there are a lot of positives to the place, Ursula definitely gets the prize for making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying at her place!

Her airbnb space is in the Jackson Heights neighborhood of Queens-very multi-cultural, lots of shops, restaurants..very safe and near the subway (approx 4 blocks). She was so helpful when we initially had difficulties finding her apartment-she called back immediately and assisted us! The bedroom space is very large and a bright, with adequate dressers and closet space for clothes. It was very easy to share "her space" with her, and we never felt as though we were intruding!

Jun 27, 2019Ein toller Aufenthalt bei Ursula und Eduardo! Sehr hilfsbereit und immer für einen kleinen netten Smalltalk zu haben. Sehr nett war es, den peruanischen Cocktail "Pisco Sour" probieren zu dürfen. Sehr nette Atmosphäre an dem Abend, welcher auch spät geworden ist:) zur Lage: etwas Fußweg zur Metro und man ist in einer guten Stunde in Manhatten. Abends kann man auch ohne Probleme auf die Straße gehen, es macht zumindest einen sicheren Eindruck. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem ruhigen Viertel. Kleines Manko war, dass (Hidden by Airbnb) Maps uns nicht genau bis vor die Haustür bringen könnte.Allerdings war Ursula telefonisch erreichbar und hat uns von ihrer Ca 150m entfernt liegenden Wohnung abgeholt. Uns hat es auf jedenfall gut gefallen, sodass wir Ursula und Eduardo gerne weiter empfehlen!

Jul 27, 2019Ursula's place was easy and convenient to LaGuardia airport and the tennnis center for the US Open or Mets games. The 7 train to Manhattan or Flushing meadows is 3 blocks south on 90th St. Her place was clean and easy.

They were accommodating when we needed to drop off our bags early and offered to help us with anything we needed during our stay. They were very quiet in their room of the apartment with us. The bed was comfortable, and the room offered plenty of space for 2, with locks on the doors for going out. I felt very safe.

Jun 27, 2019We had a great time in Ursula's place. The apartment is fairly close to metro 7 which takes you to Manhattan. The neighborhood is full of life and we found some really nice food spots with cuisines from all over the world. Ursula mentions flexible check in and out and she really means it, both times they have done the extra mile of excellent hospitality. Overall we loved our stay there and will highly recommend it to anyone who wants to feel the vibe of the city.

Jun 27, 2019I had a great stay with Ursula for 10 days. She's kind, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with. The room was big, clean and had special little thoughtful touches. She even shared a few meals with me! The bed was very comfortable as well. Close to the 7 train that takes you to the city quickly. It's also in walking distance to good food, especially South American fare. I felt super comfortable there and was sad to leave. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Helped with my daily stretching routine. Ursula is a wonderful, warm and helpful host. Very relaxed about guests using the space. She really helped me with check in and check out. Oh and it’s a great location in a vibrant neighborhood near all the cool spots!

Jun 27, 2019A nice place to stay in a good residential neighborhood. And a good value for money. The nearest bus stop is less than 100 feet away. Takes around 15 mins to get to Jackson Heights/Roosevelt Avenue subway station by bus. And takes around 35-40 to get to Midtown Manhattan by public transit. A very friendly host. I enjoyed my stay over here and would highly recommend this place.

Jun 27, 2019We had a great time staying with Ursula. The place was very clean and she offered lots of advice on where we should go, both nearby and in Manhattan. There are lots of services nearby (cvs, laundromat, subway, etc..) . The subway is about a 10 minute walk and leads directly to the heart of Manhattan. There are lots of restaurants nearby, we highly recommend Uncle Peter’s! The only issue we had was that the shower drain seemed to be a bit clogged.
